The Sam Poh Temple, situated below Brinchang in the Cameron Highlands, is a vibrant Buddhist temple complex featuring a colorful gate and wall adorned with intricate tile-work. Constructed in 1972, it is dedicated to the medieval admiral Zheng Ho and stands as the fourth-largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. Inside are numerous gilded statues and ceramic tiles painted with Buddha images. Visitors must remove their shoes when entering the inner temple building which showcases highly detailed depictions of defenders of Buddhist law.
Beautiful Buddhist temple with a good view. Very pretty, serene and calming. Wonderful Buddha and other statues. Good place to visit while at Cameron Highlands.

Nice, simple temple, but needs a bit of TLC. A lot of construction materials lying around, and seems a little neglected… with loads of dogs lying around and Beware of the Dog signs (though they seemed totally docile and non-threatening if given distance).
We arrived just before closing and so it was all pretty empty; there is nothing to do in terms of read and learn, so not a great tourist visit. But it has some impressive statutes and worth a 15 minute visit en route to somewhere else in the Brinchang area.

This is a very beautiful Chinese temple on the hills. It is really peaceful. Bright colours of temple are sure to uplift your mood. Better take a grab directly from your hotel. After seeing the temple, go on foot to see other things nearby

Sam Poh Temple, nestled in the serene hills of Brinchang, is a beacon of peace and spirituality. Its architectural beauty stands as a testament to Buddhist culture, with intricate designs and calming ambiance that invite reflection and tranquility. The temple's cleanliness is commendable, creating a pure atmosphere for visitors to explore and meditate. Those seeking spiritual enrichment will find solace in its sacred halls and the opportunity to donate, supporting the temple's preservation. A visit here offers not just a glimpse into architectural elegance but also a journey into inner peace. Truly a 5/5 experience for anyone seeking serenity and spiritual connection.

This is a buddhist temple. It's very clean and peaceful. One will gain his or her inner peace the moment one steps in the temple. It has a spacious washroom too.

This is a lovely temple. As you would expect, it is serene and calming, despite the little puppies running around (watch where you step!). It is well maintained despite what other reviewers have stated. It is active too as worshippers (forgive this expression from a non-Buddhist!) were in attendance for most of our visit.
There are a number of rooms to explore for you to be wowed by the extraordinary statues.
I’d love it if, when uneducated foreigners like myself visit, we’d be offered assistance with a little bit of what each figure represents so that we’d leave with a little more understanding. Perhaps it’s just me!

The Sam Poh Temple is a must-visit destination for those interested in exploring the local culture and history. Its detailed architecture and beautiful surroundings are truly mesmerizing. Visitors can admire the giant statues of Buddha, the colorful murals, and the intricate carvings that adorn the temple walls. The serene atmosphere of the temple makes it a perfect place for quiet contemplation and relaxation. The temple is located near other popular tourist spots in Cameron Highlands and, as mentioned before, is definitely worth a visit.

Very Very peaceful and quiet, straight out of a ghibli film. The stray dogs there were very friendly and even led us around like tour guides. Beautiful architecture and geological structures around. You can find the entrance to Trail 2 around here too.

Good for a short rest and some photo taking. Admission is free.

Quiet, Serene, and Peaceful Buddhist temple.
It feels so calm here. No disturbance, no distraction. Had my prayer here. The feeling of being surrounded by positive and peaceful vibes is fantastic.
Just watch out for the wild dogs.

I think this is a largest Chinese temple in Cameron Highland. Free entrance, easily to get parking space. Majority for Chinese tourist or Chinese people come for pray. I think also is a good place for foreigner to understand about Chinese culture here.
The Agro-Technology Park MARDI in Cameron Highlands is a government-owned agro research center and tourist destination that is located just 1 km from the city center. The park features beautiful gardens filled with flowers, as well as strawberry patches, vegetable fields, small rabbit and butterfly farms, and a greenhouse. Visitors can learn about Malaysian agriculture while also trying out new and interesting types of food made from the park's tropical fruit cultivations.
This place is a nice visit as you can really see they plants full bloom (depending on season for some plants).
A great place for kids and adult alike as you can identify different flowers, vegetables plants and some trees. There are even huge pitcher plants/ monkey cups.
Bonus was the small butterfly enclosure where the butterflies were fluttering. You can see a few deers and for extra RM 2, you can see the rabbits.
The fees to enter are RM 6.50 for adults and RM 2.50 for students up to 17 years old.
A great place for photo taking too!

Kind of a 1 stop shop where you can enjoy the flora & fauna of Cameron Highlands. Having said that, I think it could do better by having more exotic specimens since it is a research centre. Ample space & great location. I have seen better herb garden too.
Staff are very helpful & place is clean.

the entrance fee is affordable. the space is very big but sadly there is not lot of things to see around there except for few animals. got a nice view for ootd. i tried strawberry creep (RM16 for 3 big pieces) and strawberry juice (RM5 for a usual size of cup). everything is good and i loved it but the jam inside the creep a bit sweet and the juice is very nice.

The experience was average There are many types of flowers and vegetables grown. But the place certainly needs an upkeep. The landscaping, signs, etc need some work done to them. Entrance fees have also increased to RM 10/pax. Was just RM 6.50 last year. Expect to spend around 1 hour here

Satisfactory visit. Nice variety of edible and non-edible plants to see. The flowers were beautiful. Overall layout is pleasant to the eye.
Just 3 stars because the petting zoo was quite sad. There was a strong odour in there, and the deer were in a cage with muddy ground. The rabbits were huddled under a table to avoid some visitors - they obviously needed some relief from people petting them.
Better signage would help too. The signpost pointed the tea plantation in one direction, but we found it in another section of the park.

Got a flower garden, strawberry, playground, Surau.
Got space for car park and bus parking.
Not many items are sold inside the shop.

Enjoyed this park very much. Good educational park for kids, various flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs garden, friendly goats. Worth the trip. Lesser crowd and no traffic leading to this park, unlike other tourist attraction which is highly congested. Some of vegetables and herbs overly grown, not harvested. It would be good if they could allow visitors to purchase some of the harvest instead of wasting it.

Great things to show but lacked maintenance.
There are so many things to see here. The gardens, the flowers, the plants, the animals... You can even buy the produce and plants to your liking.
But the flower bush has weeds to the point I'm confused which one is weed and which one is flower bush.
The butterfly are going to extinct inside the butterfly garden (because so few of them) so the management need to repopulate them again.
Otherwise RM6.50 fee is not worth it.

Flat surface at most area, comfort walk for old folks. Flower, herb plants, vegetables, fruits being planted here, although apple n grapes hardly got produce. Reasonably priced gift shop, long queue to pay. Many insta worthy spots for nice pics. Better come early 8ish for good walk before getting crowded. Entrance fee RM6.50 adult, RM2.50 age below 18 and above 60. 2 toilets at 2 separate locations, sometimes need to line up. Ample parking. Cafe reasonably priced, RM1 per cup for tasty hot tea. Highly recommended.

I was here in 2019. It was not as beautiful as it is now. The ticket price remains same rm6.50 for adults. Senior citizens & children rm2.50. There is a cafe, playground, surau and various fresh plants. There are many types of flower. Wide area. Spend some time here before resuming the busy journey.
Maybe not as good as lavender/other places. But it's okay for me. Cheap tickets. Many upgrades from 2019 - 2023

Ticket is RM10 for Malaysian adult. Not much to do for adult except seeing the beautiful flowers.
There is a cafe and souvenir shop inside. There is an enclosed area for rabbit/goat I think but we didn’t enter cause worrying about the smell.
Now that the entrance fee is increased, hope they can clean up and upgrade the playground for it to be more pleasant to see. Now it looks like it has been the same since the 90s.

Tan's Camellia Garden is a tropical flower garden that contains various plants, including camellias and anthuriums. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the plants in the garden. Visitors can freely explore the compound, which also includes a shop selling potted plants and ashitaba tea leaves. Mosquitoes can be present on the premises.
Such a lovely place! The garden is owned by a lovely 70 year old local lady. Shes been working on the garden for over 30 years. There are a lot of beautiful and colorful flowers! A lot of hard work and passion! When we arrived she met us with a big smile! She gave us a tour around the garden, and told us about all the different flowers and plants. She also told us about the japanese tea she makes, called «ashitaba». A tea known to be very good for your health. She’s been drinking it for years herself. Its free to visit the garden and she does not expect anything in return. She will, however, be very grateful if you want to support her and her business. You can buy the tasty tea, or beautiful flowers and plants you find around the garden. I recommend this place a lot! Thank you Tan for your hospitality!

The Mossy Forest is a lush evergreen woodland with a raised pedestrian walkway that winds its way through an assortment of plant life such as ferns, orchids and moss. The forest, located on the slopes of Gunung Brinchang, is renowned for its misty atmosphere and eerie appearance due to the tangle of lichen-covered trees that line the path. Thick layers of moss cover the forest floor and surrounding trees adding to its unique aesthetic.
I enjoyed the lush greenery of the forest and the walk along the trail was relaxing and enjoyable, as the route was along well-maintained wooden paths with high railings.
The mist that appeared frequently during my casual 1.5 hour walk added an eerie but exciting sense to the environment.
We were told that due to the recent landslides along the route to the attraction, private vehicles are not permitted to drive up the route and we hired a private operator to drive us up on his four-wheel drive vehicle.
Richard Oon — Google review
It was a mixed experience to mossy. Firstly, the transportation getting there was confusing as many rumours were spreading around. If you have a car, yes, you can self drive to the mossy, it is a bit steep and narrow at a certain location, but not an issue if a normal car can't climb up to mossy. Those who feel uneasy or uncertain about driving up there, can always engage a local agent who uses a high performance 4wheel drive car at a cost of 35rm/person. Once u reach the peak, parking could be an issue as only 15-20 car lots are available, so weekends could be crowded. Entrance for locals is 10rm and 30rm (if not mistaken) for foreigners. The wooden walkway to see the moss is probably 150-200meters walking distance. It was built to avoid stepping on the moss and killing them. Go to the lookout tower for those photo sessions. At the end of the walkway, there is a gate entrance to the hiking trails which requires permits and guides. Nothing much can be seen if the condition is foggy, but in a clear sky, some forest and mountain peak can be seen. Enjoy.!

Exploring the mossy forest was an unforgettable adventure! The lush moss created a mesmerizing cinematic effect, enveloping the scenery in a dream-like atmosphere. The tranquility and humidity made it feel like walking through a cloud, heightening the sense of immersion in nature. Listening attentively to the sounds and identifying different plant species added an exciting dimension to the experience. The journey along the scenic road offered beautiful viewpoints of the tea farms, enhancing the overall enjoyment. It was truly a remarkable excursion that left a lasting impression on us!

To get here, it is strongly advised to use the 4x4 service. We booked the one that starts from the Nova Hotel. Took about 30 minutes to get here and the journey quite adventurous. To enter the park is easy but they're too many stairs and I need to carry my daughter. LoL. Wahhh..it was crazy but we have a serious good times here. The place is beautiful and you will not regret. The Mossy Forest was definitely the highlight of my Cameron Highlands day tour. You need to pay 30RM as an entrance fee, which I found reasonable because the trails are clean, well kept and easy to navigate
The landscape is amazing there, you will get to see different kinds of trees, plants and colorful flowers, and there are descriptions usually on their history. If you are lucky with sunny weather, the visibility is very good to see the forest from top of the tower in the middle of the trail. You may drive up to the ticket counter or hire Mossy Forest Tour Transfer online. I found the tour transfer for Rm35 per pax comprises a round trip between pick point and Mossy Forest.
Just within an hour to finish the round trip. However, permit from authority is required before entering the advance hiking (7 hours round trip).
Toilet facility is available but don't expect there is plenty of water for flusing toilet.

This is a junction to Mossy forest (Cameron Highlands)
The place near the Boh plantation (Sungai Palas)
Before going please ensure that you know which road. Because the internet network is not so good at this point.
After turning make sure to go the correct direction.
There is a junction; one right side (don't go this road..I went twice and also went the wrong way).
Please turn the left side. This is the correct way.
From here the distance to Mossy Forest is about 4km
Google maps shows about 1 hour by walking (it is hard..). The car drives about 16 minutes ( if it's morning/ rainy day. May not be able to go up by normal car).
You may try to drive up. It is at your own risk.
There is no check point between this road as mentioned during our visit on 28th March 2024, 2:00pm ( maybe during MCO time ((between 20th March 2020 to March 2022))-had these restrictions)
May a entrance fee charges.
And also have a set time for open and closed. Please google and checked before go.
Enjoy your fresh air, serene environment and nice scenery

Driving up here and Boh Tea center can be quite challenging for bigger vehicles, better to go with the local tour guide.

It is a beautiful, misty and mossy forest. There are information panels describing the plants and their characteristics in both English and Malay. Personally, I think the trip will be more interesting with a guided tour while on a road trip.
We went during Ramhdan days at early morning. Not many people. We enjoy the nature, flowers and birds.
The trails are easy, if only because the stairs can be difficult for older people. But as long as one does not have a knee problem, it shouldn't be a big deal. I've seen many eldery, but they manage to walk all parts of the tracks.
Entry ticket is RM10, you need a tour agency to bring you to the entrance by van, which costs RM25. If you are driving your own car, your car will be blocked by a guard at the intersection before you reach the entrance. I would advise against driving yourself even without the regulations because the road is horrible.
Overall, a great trip which can be combined with a visit to BOH tea plantations.

Way up there is not that bad, just a little narrow and steep. A normal car is able to be driven up but parking space is limited. We went during the weekday, so no traffic nor parking issue. Tickets for locals are RM10 for adults, RM5 for kids; for international visitors, RM30. Bridges are built so that visitors will not be able to cross over to destroy the moss. A most beautiful and mysterious forest. The 4X4 Jeep we've hired was the best decision we've made as we weren't sure whether to drive on our own or not. Our local driver - guide was an amazingly knowledgeable guy who could point out all the exotic plants in the forest and more info on everything else.
As of Feb 2024, the Mossy Forest entry rates for a local is RM 10/person and RM 30/adult foreigner.
Our driver had also stopped the vehicle to admonish a group of visitors who'd stopped by the side of the trail- picking off the delicate mosses off the side of the mountain. He explained how the mosses will not survive in any other weather outside of the area, plus the immeasurable damage done to the mosses picked.
The board walk trek takes about a quick 1 hour to complete, but might take more if you're a photo-enthusiastic person (like myself). The forest is amazing, mysteriously half shrouded in clouds, earning it's name : Garden in the Clouds.
Here's the not-so-nice bit most first-timers won't know about driving to Mossy Forest :
Unless you're driving a pick-up truck, a 4WD or 4X4, do not use your own vehicle to climb up this treacherous road. A normal car that experiences any problems along the way will have to pay a minimal fee of RM 1k for towing only, not to mention inconveniencing the rest of the visitors on the trail line that could cause a jam that can last hours. One normal van reportedly had 2 tires loosing air, only to find sharp stones embedded into them. We personally saw a sedan went through multiple potholes (nightmare for suspensions) and then skidding on certain parts going up, while holding back all the other 4X4s.
Some of the pot holes (and there are alarmingly many!) are a few inches deep, few inches wide. There are also cracks and splits on the path about 3/4 of the way up, with most stretches tilting to the side. The path is also very small, making navigation hard if drivers are not confident in handling a two way traffic on such narrow roads. Some corners and narrow turnings have sharp drops.
Overall, if you can, hire a 4X4 driver to bring you around. Less stress of damaging your own car, and being able to enjoy the whole ride in the local country way.

We booked a tour through a tour guide near the bus stop. Everything was made easy and we had no issues getting confirmation or organizing our tour. We were told that we would be picked up by a certain time and to be ready. We were ready to go and excited to meet our tour guide. When he arrived we were the first ones picked up and shared a keep with 3 other people. Once we picked everyone up we were off to the races ! First stop was the mossy forest. This forest is so cool, the trees stand tall and are so large. The fog is thick and chilly , it’s almost as if you’re walking through a mist. We climbed the stairs to the tallest point and explored around a bit but all you could see was thick fog , it was still beautiful though. There were lots of people as it’s a popular destination by many, but we found it easy to walk around and explore the area with our group and away from our group. The drive up was cool, as you get further up the hill the fog gets thicker and the road turns sharper.

The most famous museum in Cameron Highlands, located in Brinchang. It has many galleries with more than a huge number of collectibles from the last century
I enjoyed walking through the different parts of the museum, and learning about the history of the place and appreciating the history behind it. I could see the British influence in many collectibles. I also learned some bizarre stories about missing people and a disastrous historical landslide
I think it is definitely worth your time during your daily tour in Cameron Highlands

Interesting museum with old school/vintage stuff on display. The informative boards hung around the museum were informative as well. At the back of the museum there was a cafe, a plant nursery and a rabbit feeding area. The rabbits were cute and for sale. I think it would be better if the rabbits were kept in a better environment though. Only a few rabbits were free roaming and the rest were in wired cages. In gist, nice museum but the rabbits were sad in my opinion.

Cool to walk through and see everything until you see the horrible cages the rabbits are kept in 💔 so sad. It's such a nice place and clearly well looked after except the rabbits. Would not go back.

The place quite easy to go on normal days. Good experience during the visit overthere. You can gain knowledge about history and can even see old versions of some products that still exist today. And also got a strawberry farm
Big Red Strawberry Farm, also called Taman Agro Tourism, is a charming garden and agricultural land located just 3 km away from the city center of Cameron Highlands. It ranks as the 6th most popular activity in the area and boasts numerous attractions such as hydroponically cultivated strawberries that visitors can pick seasonally.
The drive into the farm is a bit hectic but keep with it... The farm is amazing to see and the shop has a great variety of strawberry deserts and drinks.. Souvenirs and great jam too... And you get to see how they grow the strawberries. They have a strawberry picking option too

A good location to see strawberries, vegetables, flowers at the same place. No entry fees required. Premise is well laid out and clean. Cafe selling strawberry and strawberry themed drinks operating. Shop selling flower and gardening tools available. Carparking aplenty. However road to/from site is steep.

Interesting concept of pick-it-yourself fresh-of-the-farm hydroponically cultivated fruit from the farm. There's also lettuce and other fresh vegetables being grown along the farm area where you can walk past around the open farm area.
Do be aware that coming up here entails driving up a steep incline where the farm is located. There's a nice little cafeteria and retail area where you can pay-to-pick your own basket of strawberries. A very enjoyable experience for me and my bro.

The place is huge, with various types of vegetables and plants aside from the strawberry farm. The way to the place may be tricky as it is located uphills, and the exit is going downhills, so please be extra careful when driving. If you planned on going to Cactus Valley, better go there first before proceeding to go to Big Strawberry Farm as the road is one-way. Make sure take a lots of pictures here as is it instaworthy! ✨

It's a hydrophonic strawberry farm and quite a large one if you look at it from an aerial view but you wouldn't be walking all around it due to the steepness of the pathways. It's pretty cool to see how plump and fresh they grow on site though. They do grow other vegetables there too. There's a few sculptures and flower gardens on the side of walkways along some paths but it's not an easy walk, we didn't go far up as we were with elderly and toddler. There's a pretty big cafe with a shop right next to it with a pretty large selection of strawberry related products for sale. Massive seating area available. There's also a huge arcade area for kids - there's a machine that exchanges money with tokens that can be used. Depending on which way you're driving in, it can seem as if you need to park in the alleyways due to the tight road but keep driving up and you'll find free parking spots right on the farm itself, and it'll be an easier walk towards the car afterwards, without the additional steep climb. The one way drive down from the farm is very steep too.

The place was beautiful and big. But it's not strawberry season yet, so I can't pick the strawberries 🍓 there are lots of flowers too that you can take pics with. They are beautiful must try the strawberry sundae, it was delicious 10/10 ✨✨✨The strawberry with whipped cream was also delicious, it's well-balanced because the strawberry was sour and the whipped cream was nice ✨ I recommend that as well

Area been maintained well. Great place for sightseeing and taking pictures of the cactus, flowers and plants. New mini zoo been set up which display, ducks, swan and rabbit. (Not a petting zoo). Clean public toilets and spacious. The food been sold a bit lack in terms of taste

Very crowded even though not on holiday season and having light showers. The location is easily found with many car parks available, but the road is very steep and windy. The cafe sells variety of dessert, but not all can be takeaway (especially ice cream), desserts taste good as well. Pick-your-own strawberries and lettuces are available too.

I think expectation is key for going to some of the strawberry farms in the Highlands. I knew prior to arriving that it wasn’t strawberry season so the likelihood of seeing strawberries actually growing wasn’t very likely — which I was totally fine with. I mostly wanted to go to try out some of the foods they make with them.
I would HIGHLY recommend getting food and drinks. This was the best part while visiting in the off-season.
Mostly my partner and I were somewhat confused about where to go to actually see anything at the farm. From the short search we did everything was gated and locked so we couldn’t actually really see any of the plants much. It was a bit odd but cool to see from a distance nonetheless.

Great experience to get pick your own from their hydrophonic grown strawberry farm. They’d ask to deposit 100rm for each basket for 2 person , minimum of 1kg (60rm) and excess will be weighted and deducted from your deposit. Extra person will be +10rm. Strawberries are not sweet at all but they look nice and still taste good.
We ordered some Creme Brulee , Churros and pancake, it wasn’t good 😑 Milkshake and ice creams were okay.
Location is in Brinchang area, so if you are staying in Tanah Rata or Compthorne side ( as we did) it is highly suggested to gather up some patience for the traffic especially on weekends and holidays!

Mount Irau is a majestic peak that offers a 3-4 hour trek through lush forests to reach the stunning summit views. The trail takes approximately 6 hours round trip and requires a permit and local guide. Hikers should be prepared for muddy terrain as it can get cold, wet, and dirty on the journey. Despite the physical demands of hiking Mount Irau, the breathtaking vistas make it all worth it.
Duration 🕰️
Took us almost 3.5 hours to complete the ascend from the Mossy Forest entrance gate to Gunung Irau Peak and another 2.5 to descend.
The view 🌳
The forest was beautiful, misty, and mossy. It gives you kinda Avatar/LOTR vibes. Some parts of the forest can be eerie & creepy too 🫣
Climate & clothing 🌧️
It was pleasingly cold & but unfortunately rained on our way descending. Always be prepared for the worst weather & bring your raincoat to protect your gear.
Food 🍫💧
Constantly snacking on sugar on the way up to sustain your🔋The hike was relatively straightforward and does not require much of techniques.
Difficulty ⛰️
Beginner to intermediate level. It’s not a very challenging hike. However, please be extra careful of the roots/branches. Otherwise, you will end up with a lot of bruises 😂

Definitely not an easy route to hike. But the scenic view along the hike is worth it! According to the guide, it’s recommended to hike between the month of April and May to avoid the rainy season! Visitors can explore various attractions, indulge in shopping, and satisfy their taste buds with an array of culinary options. The complex offers a delightful experience for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxing respite from the hustle-bustle of city life. With its picturesque vistas and diverse offerings, it is a must-visit place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of lavender gardens.
O&R Garden may seem small from the outside, but it offers a vast and splendid experience worth every penny. It is a must-visit location when in Cameron Highland, boasting of its stunning flower garden with an array of colorful flowers that emit fragrances like roses. The attraction also provides pet food for fishes, chickens, ducks, and goats. One can purchase some lovely flowers to take home.
The ticket price is affordable. There are many types of plants and flowers such as orchid and others. At the exit of the garden, there is a nursery, which visitors could buy plants with reasonable prices. This place is quite hidden from the main road. The parking space is ample. Overall, it is recommended 👍🏼

Colourful flowers.
Must visit if you ever come to Cameron Highland.
You can buy some pet fooda for the fishes, chickens, ducks, and goat. They have some handsome goat there.
My niece and nephews love this place. My 83 years old mom also enjoy the garden.
We even bought some flowers to take back home. Hope the flowers can survive the hot weather in Melaka. Haha.
Aaaaa... one more thing... they have their own jungle walk if you like more walking in the garden. But I didn't explore this section, I didn't wear proper shoe. Haihh...

Nice place without a large crowd. Good to just enjoy a simple walk about to look at their lovely plants and a few animals. The goats are very friendly but I just wish the animals weren't penned.
There's a RM10 entrance fee that's levied at the front door. You can also purchase plants closer to the exit.
Gavin Jayapal — Google review
Not so well maintained, maybe due to pandamic?
What we cannot accept is that they mistreated some genuine pigs by leaving them in an totally enclosed dirty glass tank (see below photo). Sad to see animals are been treated this way.
Very limited orchid and Rose despite the garden name...
Entrance fee RM6 for adult, RM4 for kids

Underrated.
Probably one of the most interesting gardens in camera to walk about. The front entrance is humble, but don't let that mislead you as beyond the entrance lies a sprawling park that covers quite an extensive area, with an interesting display of flora and fauna. Truly underrated. Can easily spend 1 to 2 hours here.

The Jungle Trail 3 is a well-marked path through a forest that leads to the summit of Gunung Beremban peak. The trail offers undulating terrain, which allows hikers to catch their breath as they trek through the mossy jungle. It takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to reach the peak by taking this trail, and another 2 hours to descend. Hikers should be prepared for rain as it can make the path slippery and more challenging.
The trail is passable again, but you need a permit from the forestry office. This as far as I know for all trails except the trailer 10. The permission you can apparently get relatively easy (we have made the way with a guided tour and the guide has taken care of in advance) but you should take care of it early.
Other than that, this is a very nice trailer through the middle of the forest. The trail is walkable, there are only a few steep and slippery spot. Good shoes and length clothing recommended. Can also be combined well with path 5.
Mata Vato (matavato) — Google review
Very disappointing that you need permits now for every trail. The only tourism this area has are trails and now you can't use them anymore. The government gas already closed down multiple other trails but it seems that even the easy/no guide ones are restricted. Such a shame cos it looks amazing. Definitely not recommend to any idy going to Cameron Highlands unless you want to pay for the only tour they have available and takes like 2 hours and that's it.
Louis — Google review
This is our second time on trail 3. The first time we went up trail 7 and came down trail 3. This time we took trail 3 up to the peak and the same way down. This is not the toughest hike we have attempted, as the terrain is undulating so there is enough opportunity to catch your breath. It has the typical “mossiness” of the jungle in Cameron so it is quite pretty. We did it at a leisurely pace and took 2 hours 15 mins to reach the peak, and another 2 hours to get back down. We got caught in the rain on our way down, and that made it much more challenging as it can get slippery.
MinYen Wang — Google review
Pretty flat and easy, joins trail 2 which is v.difficukt with lots of up and down. The trail exits at a resort/hotel where you need to walk down the road. The walk is average, not very tough and not as interesting as some as the longer more out if the way walks. Easy to navigate.
M Bryant — Google review
The point on the map is a bit in the wrong place if you ask Google maps the directions it will lead you to the wrong private road. You should walk up the road of Arcadia, see picture. Keep following the road and there you will see the start of track 3.(the entrance is next to the grey car in the 2nd picture)
Simon Hoekx — Google review
Wanted to go trail 1 but taxi guy said it’s closed and took me to trail 3. Entrance is on the right side of sign. Trail isn’t easy lots of steep climbing up and down using tree roots. I slipped a couple times. Keep following the trail till you see sign connecting to trail 5 which will lead you back into town.
Shantanu Rane — Google review
The location pointed by Google Maps is wrong. It will lead you up a private property where you will encounter a couple of dogs that will try to chase you. The private property should at least put up signs warning people not to approach or be wary of the dogs. Its very irresponsible to just let people walk up the road without any warning at all and have your dogs run at them.
Ignore maps and take the left at the arcadia bungalow when you see the sign. Thats the picture I have posted. See also other reviews above including those of local guides.
Aimaad Aurangzeb Khan — Google review
Quite a trek uphill and downhill, so be prepared for that. The Google Maps direction to the start of the trail is misleading. One should search for the road leading to Arcadia Bungalow (instead of blindly following the directions provided by Google which will lead you a private property owned F&N). Parking is limited to a few cars at a time.

Mount Batu Brinchang is a picturesque mountain peak in Malaysia that offers numerous hiking trails, a scenic roadway and an observation tower with breathtaking views. The jungle trail 1 leading up to the summit is highly recommendable as it provides an excellent hiking experience. However, visitors may find the main viewpoint area gated off which could be disappointing after hiking for several hours. The road leading up to the peak can only accommodate one car at a time and drivers are advised to give way to oncoming vehicles.
Most easily accessible mountain in Malaysia. Mossy Forest located en route. Near to Boh Tea Sg Palas plantation.

The farm is renowned for its delicious berries and is one of the better-known strawberry farms in the area. Despite this, crowds are not a problem due to the spaciousness of the farm. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding farms and fields while picking sweet-tasting strawberries.
The most delicious strawberry we had in Cameron! Juicy, plump and bitter-sweet. Strawberry hot chocolate was good too.

Enjoyed strawberry plucking at 40RM for 0.5kg! For the experience and fun, i think the price is worth it. We plucked less than 0.5kg, so the staff helped us top up additional strawberries. We were the only ones in the farm at about 4pm+ on a Friday. It was easy to walk around without any crowd. The staff was kind enough to direct us to certain aisles that have ripe strawberries. The strawberries have already lasted 1 week in my fridge - still perfect for eating!
I also ordered strawberry juice (without sugar) at the cafe but the service was quite slow. I waited about 10mins at the empty counter, trying to make an order. The efficiency can be further improved! Love the original taste of the strawberries but bf found it sour hahaha

Great place to go for your strawberry fix. Our concern is always bout cleanliness and yes, it is definitely so.
On top of what is offered, there are others that u enjoy here. Claw machines, small playground, cafe style shop, great overview of the place, insta worthy areas and more! We kinda skipped d plucking part koz it needed a week more for the next batch to bloom, so we tried something else.
We deviated away from the normal food recommendations by others n went with eating the strawberry itself. We chose a box coated with chocolate while the other with honey. Definitely one of the best choices we made. Yummmzzz! We do know bout the scones, d jams and such . But we like to take a little change in views.
If u are around the area, this is a place to pop by. So, come on by n check the place out yourself!

Self strawberries picking - my kids enjoy it.
Its just that u need to put effort to climb and walk finding the biggest red strawberries.
The charge was rm30/basket - estimated 500g per basket. They put marking level at the basket so u can know when to stop. Later they will weight & add on to make sure u get 500g.
1 basket can share up to 3 persons.

It's a tranquil location with the opportunity to appreciate the garden if you haven't experienced one before. There's a delightful section where you can select your own strawberries for a fee. We visited a café and enjoyed a delicious strawberry milkshake.
On the downside, the cost of picking strawberries is relatively steep compared to other farms, and the size is somewhat smaller than what we had anticipated.
Nirmal Balasooriya — Google review
I was kind of disappointed with the outlook of the place. We decided to not go strawberry picking cos it was expensive. RM40, you are only allowed to pick a quarter bucket of strawberries.
The food:
Waffles - was ok. 10yo daughter said so so. Not as great as how ppl described it to be.
Nuggets - they tasted weird. It was sour. Why sour?? My 8yo son said yucky
Scones - not that great really. Tasted better ones. RM22 for a set of two scones and one milk tea.
So you order food from one of the rooms and the seating place is in a semi open place. It was gloomy and felt like a run down space. Very sad looking.

RM40 for 2 adult and 1 children to self pick one basket of strawberry. After paying only they tell you thatyou can only fill like 1/4 of the basket only for the price. A bit on the expensive end, especially when the is no facilities provided, and the walkway are just dirt path and too steep for most people. Even toilet they charge

Lovely experience picking strawberries and then taking them away. Also bought homemade strawberry jam and preserved strawberries. Cafe also has a good choice of desserts, we tried the strawberry white coffee and strawberry cake, with fish and chips. Lovely. Family owned business and the owners are very friendly as well.. 🍓🍓🍓

Fun experience as two adults. Although maybe a bit overpriced to do, it is fun and trying to track down the better berries is everyone's aim. You get given a basket with a clear line on it showing the quantity you have paid for in advance. If you go over this line then when you leave you must pay extra charge although they have a small leeway. What is nice at this place is they have a nice cafe selling strawberry related goods beofre or after the picking. We had coffee, cake, juice etc all tasty.

If you are looking for variety of cactus (colors, shapes, & sizes), this is the place. They also have variety of flowers too. At the exit, they sell some of the plants, with the cactus as low as RM2 per small pot.

Entrance Fee RM 5 for Adult and RM 3 for child. Great place to visit and take pictures.
For people who said it's was a small place and RM 5 is not worth, I think you guys haven't finished there yet. this is my first time visit, so I thought it was a small place selling cactus and flowers too, and the foreign worker told us there's still many cactus up there, the stair is just beside the fish pond, behind the small house.
But for the parking lot, entrance and exit is a bit dangerous.
The BOH Tea Centre is a tea manufacturing company located in Tringkap, Cameron Highlands, Pahang. The facility produces Boh tea, which is well-known for its unique flavour and aroma. Visitors can take a tour of the factory to see how the tea is produced.
The BOH Plantation and Factory enabled us very professional way to see behind the curtain. And behind curtain was a wonderfully maintained farm. Special thanks for nice visiting center where you enjoy the beautiful view and many phases of tea’s agricultural work (harvesting, create young plantation etc…) Or just enjoy a cup tea in the rural environment. The tea drying factory visit was very good with the beautiful smells. Of course, you can buy different tea product in the sample shop. If you’re not sure which than you will get appropriate information about the different tea.

I love the idea of opening a cafe here, you will be looking around at the beautiful landscape and enjoying the view here. Parked at the bottom and walked a bit like 5 minutes to reach the cafe. Crowd with people all the time, hardly even get a nice table in the balcony. Nowadays they have been extended the cafe and come out with some strange flavor of cakes, foods just ok.

Very crowded tea centre. It's quite challenging to drive up here by yourself. I would recommend to follow a tour which they will bring you up.
The queue for the food is very very long. Many choices of pastry and cake. I love the green tea cake. The scenery are beautiful. Love the greens.

Must visit place in the Cameron Highlands.
Breathtaking scenery of greenish tea plantation on the hills.
Weather is always cool.
Entry and parking are free.
There is an observation deck at the restaurant, which offers a scenic beauty to our pictures.
The road leads to the plantation is too narrow at some places and need to drive very carefully.
There is a factory outlet available, which sells so many varieties of teas from their own factory.
We can do a factory tour at specified times, which is also free.
Overall an ideal place to sit and relax by enjoying the cool breeze...
Easily can spend 2-3 hours

Nice tea garden having great spot for photo shoot. Also have cafe with balcony. Foods and beverages price reasonable. Toilet can be improved, dirty and some spoiled cubicle.

A lovely breakfast with a scenic view. The place is picturesque in every angle. Food is surprisingly good as many tourist area are overrated but not this. We came early so it wasn’t crowded yet. The drive up may be challenging to noob drivers but it was definitely enjoyable. You will need to walk up a flight of stairs from the parking but if you have elderly or challenge walking then they will specially allow you to drive all the way to the top. You can also buy all kinds of tea here even some exclusive ones that are only available here.

Very quiet place to have a tea compare to the Cameron valley tea house. Not sure 8 years back if I was here or the other BOH Tea Plantation cafe. But both are very relax. Even a bit crowded but the space organising between the tables are wider. Definitely will visit again

Breathtaking view and you can shop for their products as well as dining at their cafe. For elderly may require some walking if you park below. Suggest to drive up for those who can’t climb. But the climbing up process was definitely worth it for the view !

Came here around 0630AM to watch the sunrise & the view is spectacular.. so worth it to wake up early to watch the sunrise so I recommend to come here if you ever come to Cameron Highland. We wait till 0830AM for breakfast at the Boh Tea Centre, the food taste average. The strawberry tarts is very dry 😅. Again, the view at the restaurant is amazing 😁

We have been a dozen times already & never get bored maybe because of the green scenery, weather, good tea & good food at their cafeteria. The cafeteria was huge with a hill view. Busy during weekends, public holidays & school holidays. To avoid it, do come on weekdays only so you can enjoy your time peacefully.

One of the main attraction in Cameron Highlands. It is not that hard to get to but the road is small with lots of potholes. So do be extra careful while driving.
There is plenty of parking space. If you have kids or elderly you can actually drop them off at the top. There is also a buggy to the top but I think you need to arrange it beforehand. The steps to the centre is quite steep and there will be a lot of people taking photos so be careful here as well.
The centre itself is quite big and there is tour that you can join. The food is so-so, tea is just tea, and there are better scone elsewhere. The price is on the higher side. Tips: walk straight past the main food counter to the other food counter and seating area that is less crowded.
Overall it is still a good place to stop if you are in Cameron Highlands. To me, just once is enough.

The place is nice. The tea and bakeries are normal. I was also looking for boxes of tea gift but the sample mixed with sugar. I tried to ask the sample without sugar but the staff refused. So, I just can’t spend if I don’t know your product. The road is hard to access and don’t want to take risk of falling the cliff to that place, anyway.

A lovely Palas Boh Tea plantation and worth a visit although the road to the plantation is extremely narrow and very stressful to drive. The road is not recommended and not suitable for bigger vehicles.
Other than the road, this place offers a very relaxing panoramic view of the green tea plantation. An easy walk through the stairs is required to reach the viewing deck and cafe.
The cafe is extremely crowded even during the weekend and be prepared to queue for 1-2 hours if you wish to order any food or desserts.

A nice place to visit if you are at Cameron Highlands. Nice view over looking the tea plantation. If you are going for the sunrise session with your tour group do remember to wear thicker clothes and jacket as it can be quite cold in the early morning. Food at the cafe were pretty average, so don’t expect to have a good breakfast there. However the view and their famous Teh Tarik is a must try!

Place is fantastic and the menu ordered were great. However some pastries were above average price comparing to other places in Cameron Highlands but its on top a hill so understandable. Place was aesthetic and staff at the merchandise store were friendly. There also they can give you a tour at their factory and give sample drinks for you to taste. A very good experience. The challenging part was to get there you have to drive at a narrow and scary route plus need to climb up 200meters to arrive at the place. Hence, its not suitable for everyone.

It was a cloudy day but the tea plantation scenery was still breathtaking nonetheless. We took so many great photos around the area! The foods are slightly overpriced, and cake texture was bad. The factory tour was very underwhelming but I won't complain because it's free.

Dear management,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the parking arrangements at Cameron Highland Tea Farm on February 6th at 9 a.m. My experience was marred by the lack of clear signage and the misdirection provided by a group of jeep vehicle owners, resulting in unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
Upon arriving at the tea farm, I was dismayed to find that there were available parking lots; however, access to them was obstructed by the aforementioned group of jeep owners directing vehicles to areas where parking was not permitted. Despite the presence of clear parking spaces, their unauthorized direction led to congestion and confusion among visitors.
It is unacceptable that visitors were deprived of the opportunity to park their vehicles in designated areas due to the arbitrary actions of a select group. The absence of proper signage exacerbates the issue, leaving patrons vulnerable to manipulation and inconvenience.
As a customer, I expect fair and equitable access to parking facilities, especially when visiting a popular tourist destination such as Cameron Highland Tea Farm. The lack of oversight and enforcement regarding parking regulations reflects poorly on the management of the establishment.
I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that appropriate measures are implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future. This may include installing clear signage indicating designated parking areas and enforcing penalties for individuals who disrupt parking arrangements.
Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with assurance that steps will be taken to address this issue promptly. Failure to do so may compel me to explore alternative courses of action to ensure that the rights of patrons are upheld.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address my concerns and improve the overall visitor experience at Cameron Highland tea farm.

Dangerous road when heading there but it’s worth because the view and experience are more than what’s expected. The food is not nice and need to add on rm2 if you wanna add water. But as a tourist, I am not here for food so I will still give 5 stars for the design and facilities.

The place OPEN UNTIL 6.00PM DURING school holiday!
Great place for sight seeing, and taking lot of pictures. The cafe served decent food. Scone is good, nothing special. If you brung OKU, gold-citizen, you can drive up to the cafe. The stairs are quite steep and tiring.

Came during puasa month. You should reach here by the entrance at 8-8.30am if you want to avoid jam. There is a spot near the restaurant where you can stop your car and walk to the tea garden with a narrow stream for a nice picture!
There are two restaurants now. You can reqeust to drive up to the restaurant and drop elders and then drive down to park your car. It is always a must-visit spot when we come to Cameron.

Good place to go. Be extra careful in driving up as the road is very narrow and slippery with the recent rain. Some drivers are too impatient. Need to go up to viewing area and you may see the scenery and Boh tea factory. The cafes are selling the same thing so no need to crowd in the first one

Traffic is crazy. More parking and more f&b seating added.
Food wise, not their best. Cleanliness could be better. Long queue for food.
View while swallowing your food, priceless.

Nice tea plantation. The free tour was hampered by a very poor speaker that the tour guide was using. The restaurant was a little understaffed. The restaurant area needs bins and a rack for customers who want to clear their own tables.
