Located in Batumi, the Dolphinarium is a place where visitors can swim with dolphins or enjoy a show. It's one of the most popular attractions in town and shares its space with an aquarium.
I have no words to describe it. The show was incredible!!! You will be amazed to see what dolphins can do together. You will walk out with a smile on your face. I highly recommend to see it. One of the best attractions in Batumi!

I recently visited the dolphinarium and had an incredible time! The dolphin shows were truly captivating, showcasing the intelligence and grace of these amazing creatures. The trainers were knowledgeable and clearly cared deeply for the well-being of the dolphins. The facility was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for both the animals and visitors. It was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning about and appreciating marine life.

Great main attraction with fair pay.
Interaction with dolphins was awesome. Not cheap, but it last ~ 15-20 minutes, a lot of emotions, wife was happy, so I was happy 😉😁
Reservation only by phone.
Interaction I can definitely recommend.

Great program, the show was awesome and the dolphins are adorable. The crew are professionals, the price is reasonable. 25l for 30 minutes. Open air space. Every seat has a good view. Lines move fast, but tickets are better to buy beforehand.
Pure joy.

Good show, kids will have a good time. But not sure if in this day and age we should have animal performance like these given that circus animals are banned in most countries.

Went to this show and it was worth every penny. Totally amazing.
Groups of school children were at the same show and truth be told they made the atmosphere, chanting and clapping with every action.
If ever in Batumi it's well worth a visit. I bought the tickets about 2 hours ahead of the show and at only 20 lari it works out about £7.
The show itself lasted about 40 minutes and there is no bad seats in the place.
John Mc Elv — Google review
Wow! I felt like I had returned to my childhood! The show was wonderful, the dolphins are very well-groomed! It's obvious that they lived what they did and wanted as more ovations as possible 🙂 200% must see place if you are in Batumi, regardless of you travel alone, with your loved one or as a family with kid(s)🙂

Absolutely amazing experience for both adults and children! The Batumi Dolphinarium offers a top-notch show with highly skilled trainers. The fact that the event was conducted in three languages (Georgian, Russian, and English) was commendable. The 20 lari entrance fee was worth it, especially for the front-row seats. For those who prefer to stay dry, I recommend the middle-front section. The entire performance lasted 35-40 minutes. Highly recommended!
Mák Zita — Google review
Great show, I really liked it, I recommend going if you’ve already seen the city and don’t know how to have fun, the dolphins are cute, the trainers are professional 😏 It's wet in the first rows, be prepared) and don't try to catch a wet ball😬

If you are in Batumi do not miss attending this show.
It is performed twice daily in the evening. But make sure to lock in your seat early in the day. Ticket booth opens at 11 and one ticket is 25 Lari. It is much but it is worth it.
Amazing performance of dolphins combined with energitic atmosphere.
Ali Alamer — Google review
Recommend this place, if you are visiting Batumi then you have to go here. The show starts before the time, the dolphins swim and play before it even starts! The dolphins are so cute. And sometimes they even show the baby dolphins! You can even play with them, they throw balls and they you throw it back and they catch it! It's super worth it for 20 lari, and for 150 lari you can swim with the dolphins!

Very clean and spacious place and open roof. The performers and dolphins were amazing!!! Definitely would recommend the show brought lots of smiles and laughs. The dolphins are truly talented and their trainers
Established in 1912, the Batumi Botanical Garden boasts a vast collection of subtropical plant species and offers guided tours. The garden is located on the slopes of mountains overlooking the Black Sea and features both local and non-local flora. Visitors are advised to allocate at least 3-4 hours to explore the main attractions, with a full day being ideal. However, there are no food outlets available on-site, so visitors should bring their own provisions for picnics.
Beautiful place. Multiple amazing local and non local plans good organized on the slopes of the mountains above the sea. Better to plan at least 3-4 hours there just to see main spots. I'd recommend to spent whole day there, but bring food with you, there are picnic areas, but food is not for sale on site. If you aren't ready to walk a lot you can use golf cars to reach most popular view points

Of course! Batumi Botanical Garden is located on the Black Sea coast of Georgia and covers over 100 hectares. It is home to thousands of species of plants from all over the world, and is known for its beautiful views of the sea. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

A pretty botanical garden. A nice place to go on a walk. Many places with shade to cool down from the sun, and benches to sit down and rest. Friendly dogs to guide us. Entrance cost 20GEL.

Beautiful botanical garden. Highly recommend to visit. One day is not enough to see everything. There is a shuttle bus number 10. Inside there is only a snack, there is no full-fledged food - coffee, ice cream. inside there is a bus to 7-9 seats, it costs 5 GEL per person. Rides between the extreme entrances.

A very nice place to visit, but the hike is a little hard, but there are golf-carts that operate in the park.
there is a good restaurant at the end of the route, and also a great beach section that you can access.
the botanical garden itself is amazing with many beautiful flowers and trees.

Very beautiful place, be ready to spend there at least two hours. There is no food inside, but you can buy smth near the main entrance or bring food with you and set up a picnic with the nice view

This place is huge. I don't know if it's even possible to walk all the trails in a single day, although the main route is definitely doable. A bit of uphill, so be aware if you have mobility issues. The views of the sea are unparalleled.

Easily accessible with bus number 10 from Batumi center. You can pay with credit card for the bus ticket.
I would recommend coming to the garden in the morning or around midday and bringing some food with you - they’re so many beautiful plant species; different sections of origin and siting areas that you can peacefully spend the whole day there.
The sea panorama views are magnificent.

Nice garden, the trees are beautiful, there is many old trees. The view to Black Sea was amazing. The garden needs more improvement and facilities. The staff should be trained to how deal with tourist people.

Beautiful garden with incredible vegetation. You can observe specimens young and old. The bamboo forest is really something to see. In may many plants blossomed and you could smell their sweet scent. Book a few hours to stroll around the peaceful alleys.

Good fun in this beautiful place, needs to have a better navigation solution, as some of the physical guidance arrows were broken. An app maybe? Some spots along the route were not fully sorted. Overall a very nice place that needs fixing.

Amazing botanic garden. Super huge and beautiful. It takes around 3hours to walk around, so be prepared. It is also pretty humid . The trees are so beautiful, very big and lovely. The view is breathtaking, and there is a lovely beach next to the botanical garden.

It's beautiful, it's big, it's serene! Many picnic locations with a black sea view. Facilities like toilets, gazebos and food and drink stands are all around. It's such a nice place to have a getaway from the big and bustling Batumi. There's a lot of biodiversity, separated in different sections classified in different sections (like the bamboo forest).

We were not lucky with weather, because it was raining heavily, but in general it was very nice experience. You need like 3-4 hours to explore the most interesting parts of the garden. Here is a tip: walk through the entire garden (if you park your car in the entrance closer to BATUMI), because mostly you will walk downhill and take an electric car on the way back. I mean you can walk both ways it’s not that big, but if you are short on time use my tip.
You can also get to seaside when you are in lower part of the garden. It was very beautiful there.
The only thing I didn’t like is that entrance fee, guide, electric cars etc is for full price for foreigners and only half price for Georgian citizens. Not a big fan of those practices. Otherwise all good 👍
Roman Samkharadze — Google review
Very nice place to walk with a entrance is 20 GEL. Nice view of the Batumi and north Black sea coast. Zip line 70 GEL. No food inside the garden, only in entrances. Electric cars can take you to the opposite park side. Many different trees.
Boris Becker — Google review
It's magnificent. In 2023 it costs 20 lari for foreigners, You can take a ride in an electrical car, but we prefer to walk. It's better to come in the morning and spend there the whole day. After that, you can have beach time. Take your snacks in advance, shops there have only beverages and ice cream.

I can't make a good review I just make a review on the price which I find too much especially the camping prices for 50 a night! It's more expensive than being in Hotels in Batumi! Also during the time I was there it wasn't looking as nice due to the winter season! We at the end did some camping next to the botanical garden for free because it's legal in this country to do wild camping.
Also for tourists it is way more expensive. I want to visit it maybe in summer so to give a proper review but for now it's what I have to say.

Great sights to see. Air is clean. Beach is beautiful.
This impressive statue depicting a love story between Ali and Nino was originally created for the Venice Biennial. Made of metal, it stands perched on the Black Seas coast and is a one-standing reminder of an eternal romance. The wind at the beach can be quite romantic as you wander past this monument to two lovers.
I found this statue to be interesting and very unique, worth visiting, I hope to go see it at night. I hear the light adds to the beauty.

Seriously they are small , I thought they are huge. And to be honest I saw everyone filming and I didn’t see anything special. 2 statues , not so big , moving slowly. The area around it is fun though .. If your going to the Argo candle it’s few meters from there so you can combine. Not worth the time in my opinion
Eilon Peretz — Google review
Very cool to see this in person. It takes a while for the two statues to merge, but when it happens, you’ll feel it’s worth the wait. It was much smaller than I expected, but nevertheless breathtaking.
It’s located by the water in a lovely tourist area, lots of souvenir shops and carnival games.
Emma Saunderson — Google review
This statue is what motivated me to visit Batumi. As a fan of kinetic statues such as Kafka head in Prague I was intrigued by this piece and as an added value it has a profoundly sad love story. Ali and Nino can never truly be together/touch despite their love. Truly a piece of art. It depends greatly on luck whether it will operate or not.
Martin Vidli?ka — Google review
Not especially exciting but good to walk over and have a look at it. It's much smaller than you might imagine. Kiosks for snacks, drinks and souvenirs and the wheel of course. Some nice views of and from Batumi.

Batumi is a very beautiful city and incredible clean, i love it very much, Ali and Nino statue is made of metal and moving. The two figures slide towards each other. Ali and Nino is a familiar tale of lovers who end up in tragic situations.

Nomad's World — Google review
It’s beautiful yet a bit sad watching this statue move close. The area around it is very vibrant and full of places go eat and shop souvenirs, if you’re in luck there might be the Batumi carnival which has shops full of food from around the world and music and other items and gifts shop. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting and seeing Batumi boulevard.
Soveen Saeed — Google review
It's the most iconic statue of the city of Batumi. Based on a romantic novel, it's based on the disheartening story of a love-torn couple.
It's free to view them. The mechanical couple keep moving, embracing each other and passing through each other to be separated, only to repeat the entire process. It's a sight to behold.
The promenade itself has gorgeous views of the Black Sea and the mountain ranges. There's the Batumi Ferris Wheel right in front of the statue and the beach a stone's throw away. A skating park and a souvenir shop are also a few feet away.
The Old Town of Batumi is also a 5 mins walk from here. You will find several top-notch restaurants nearby.
The status stops moving late in the night. However, the promenade itself is peaceful at night and a good place to sit and relax. During the afternoons, there's a lot of crowds.
Rushabh Shah — Google review
The slow movement of the statues is so fascinating. I think it is best appreciated in the evening when the metal reflects the light from the Ferris wheel. Definitely worth watching for a couple of minutes. Something meaningful in the transitory meeting of both sculptures.

The Ali and Nino monument beautifully captures the poignant love story, symbolizing unity despite the destined separation of the characters. The profound narrative unfolds through the moving monument, creating a unique and touching experience for visitors. The site serves as an ideal destination for an evening stroll, providing a picturesque setting for families and friends to appreciate art and history while enjoying each other's company. Ali and Nino monument stands as not just a sculpture but a testament to enduring love and connection. The beachside setting enhances the overall charm of the monument, providing a perfect blend of art, nature, and a captivating love narrative.

On the shores of the Black Sea in Batumi, Georgia, stands a captivating sculpture that tells a timeless tale of love and separation. The Ali and Nino statue, a mesmerizing kinetic installation, depicts the story of two star-crossed lovers, Ali and Nino, from the Georgian novel of the same name.
The Ali and Nino statue is located on Batumi Boulevard, making it easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. There is no entrance fee to view the sculpture, and it's particularly captivating at night when illuminated. Consider your visit during the evening to witness the full effect of the lighting and the romantic atmosphere.
Lebanese Traveler — Google review
As I know, the statue takes its roots from a novel which belongs to Kurban Said. Although the idea of creating a symbol by emphasizing a novel is interesting, this metal statue gives an artificial feeling to the urban texture with the material used.
Gulnur Gursan — Google review
I recently visited the Ali and Nino statue and was truly impressed by its uniqueness and creativity. The design is captivating and adds a distinct touch to the surroundings. However, I noticed that the lighting, especially at night, could be improved to enhance the overall experience. Despite this, the visit was very enjoyable. What made the experience even more interesting was learning about the story behind the statue. A memorable and artistic attraction that becomes even more intriguing with the historical context.

It’s in front of the giant wheel, and it’s open 24 hours and free. You don’t need a ticket to visit.
Ali and Nino statues keep revolving throughout the day and night, every 10 mins they kiss once and so. Its fun to watch, the moment they kiss their body interests and cross each other.
If you’re around definitely pay a visit. There are plenty of eatery and other activities to do around.

The Europe Square is a large, central square in Batumi that is decorated with structures and buildings from European architecture. It is surrounded by beautiful belle-epoque buildings that date back to the city's heyday as an important trading center between Asia and Europe. The plaza also features a seaside promenade and several beaches.
The water Dancing Fountains display is quite impressive, with the show's creators doing an excellent job of syncing the music with the fountain's movements. The playlist features a range of classic and unique pieces rather than just standard pop songs. It appears to be a popular choice for families, as children in attendance seemed to enjoy it. The crowd size wasn't overwhelming, which provided a relaxing atmosphere. Nearby, there is an attractive restaurant-bar located on an island that would make for an enjoyable evening out.

The attraction in question is a picturesque location featuring an ancient bridge over a rapid river, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. In addition to the stunning views, visitors can also indulge in delicious cuisine and engage in thrilling activities such as rafting. Despite experiencing heavy rain and little snow during winter, the landmark remains a great adventure destination for travelers seeking historical charm and outdoor excitement. Known as the Makunceti Stone Bridge, this historical site offers ample opportunities for exploration and enjoyment amidst its scenic beauty.
I came here in winter. So much rain and little snow. Great adventure to this place.

This stone arch bridge is cool for sure, crazy how it is holding itself. There are no safety measures and it's not taking much time to be done there. In the pictures it looked more amazing than it was in reality! Still when you are in Makhuntseti you should not only check out the waterfall you should also go to the bridge!
I also believe that the bridge is in summer or fall with the landscape more beautiful, but in the off season it's not as pretty when being completely honest.
Also the river was super dirty! You can do summer rafting at this river and other touristy things. Also on the street you can buy souvenirs and will be talked to, but not in an annoying way

The ride was unique and a good opportunity to take some pics. If more than two people I think the cost it not worth the experience.

It was such a wonderful experience to try Argo Cable Car. The view from the highest top was amazing. Also, they have a nice coffee shop up and a wonderful view for the whole city from the mountains.
Sherif Omarah — Google review
Lovely cable car ride. However, there is only a chapel, restaurant, and look out point on top... Nothing else to do so seems a little expensive to go with nothing much to do on top.

Gorgeous journey. This is I think the longest cable car journey.
Beautiful scenes of Batumi.
Takes you to the top of the mountain to collect more memorable pictures and enjoy what the cafe offers while pleasing the eyes with astonishing views
You can drive up there but what is the advantage?!?!
We went there around 16 and were almost alone on the cable going up and down.
The price is 30 GEL for adult foreigners and 10 for kids.
Before you embark on the car they take a group photo where you can view when you reach the top. If you wish to buy it , it is 30 GEL. No bearing cost if you had wished otherwise

30 GEL per person for a round trip ticket.
12 min ride one way. On top you get to see Batumi city and the Black sea🌊 You can get food and beverages on top if you fancy expensive restaurants and shop for wines and liquors as well.
There are few freelance photographers 📸 who can click amazing pics for you for as low as 30 GEL(you can negotiate if you are planning to get more pics from them😉)

The place is amazing
Staff are friendly
Food wasn't great I ordered cheese burger it was juicy and nice but the bread was not fresh
The view is significant
The ride feeling was amazing (it was windy however it wasn't scary that much and you feel safe during the trip) it took around 15-20 min to reach the top of the mountain

A very interesting and exciting attraction. At the top, you can get out of the cabin and visit a small chapel, enjoy the view of the city. There is also a restaurant and a souvenir shop.

One of the best experiences in Batumi for me. The view is absolutely gorgeous and a great place at the top, to stay, make some great photos, and chill with a glass of wine or otherwise. There was also a music/dance show at the time of our visit, and it's completely free. Views are superb at the sunset, so try to get at at moment, we were lucky and the sun was smiling 🙂
Wow Bagger — Google review
The length is almost 2,6 km, longer than cable car in Tbilisi. The view is so beautiful. Ticket Price is more expensive (of course), 30 gel for adults and 7 gel for children

The Experience Was Awesome ✨You Can See The Whole Batumi City From Above, The Sea & Port Of Batumi. It Was Really Nice Experience Which I Will Never Forget. We Were Lucky Enough To See The Rainbow 🌈 Which Was Awesome. I Really Believe Everybody Whose In Georgia Must Visit Batumi Cuz It's Very Happening City & Must Take The Cable To View The Beautiful City From Above. Must Visit Place. You Can Buy Tickets At Cable Car Station Only. Not So Expensive Yet Stunning Experience.

The best way to see all of Batumi. The distance covered is impressive, probably the longest cable car journey I have been on. The perceived top is actually just a waypoint to a higher location, so cross another valley. The views from the top are breathtaking. The cafe up there is not a bad place to relax and have a snack or a drink either. I enjoyed a homemade lemonade, which was rather excellent.

It was an amazing ride. Best time is in the evening close to sunset, you'll get the most beautiful view.

A cable car that takes you from downtown to the shoulder of Mt. The view from above is simply stunning (worth doing it at sunset). At the end point there is a restaurant and an observation point. Worth the cost of the ticket.
The Miracle Park is a park located in Batumi, Georgia. The park hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including electronic music festivals in the summer and winter seasons. The park also has a beautiful view of the sea. However, some attractions at the park are not working properly and need more maintenance work to be done, but overall it is worth visiting for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery.
Beautiful, a lot of space. Ali and Nino monument was powerfull but moved so slowly that we thought it woudent work. The ferris wheel is with open baskets

The miracle Park in batumi, Georgia which is situated on the beach, which calls for a long enjoyable stroll has many photo- worthy attractions like the beautiful Central fountain, Japanese garden, the silver coloured chacha tower which has georgian alphabets written all over it and houses a restaurant at the top ( but without an elevator and currently closed), the famous symbol of love - Ali-Nino statue etc. From this park hotels like Hilton, Sherston etc are also visible. There is also an option for wanting tourists to go for boating from the marina.

Miracle Park actually consists of the eastern end of the Seafront Promenade. Here you will find the Alphabet Tower, the Ferris Wheel and the popular Alin & Nino statue. It is also the location where the Batumi Festival takes place in August and September. Nice.

Mainly full of vendors selling junk. The two lovers statue was a bit disappointing... online everyone makes it out to be enormous. Nice view of the rocky sea though.

This is a nice place to walk. It has cycle lanes for four bicycles. The Ferris wheel and the marina is quiet as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Batumi. You can walk down the beach when it's sunset and you'll love it.
The Alphabetic Tower is a gargantuan 130-meter-tall structure that offers panoramic views of the city and the Black Sea. The tower is decorated with a DNA double helix pattern, and is inscribed with the letters of the Georgian alphabet. It is an interesting take on Georgian architecture, and provides a stunning view of Batumi from its lofty perch.
This cathedral, built in 1897, is one of the most beautiful and spiritual temples in the Caucasus. It possesses a unique neo-Gothic style and three spires. The church is now an orthodox temple and attracts visitors with its beautiful stained glass windows.
Neo-Gothic style church of the mother of God in old Batumi.
Originally built as a Catholic church early in the 1900's woth the sponsorship of the businessmen Zubalashvili brothers. During the Soviet period the church was converted into high voltage laboratory.
In 1989 the it was transfered to the Georgian Orthodox church.
Very impressive cathedral for those who love gothic style architecture

Amazing place. So peaceful and good gor religious people to spend a couple of spiritual minutes during the holiday 👍
Architecture is beautiful.
There is a sign that says women need to cover their hair to enter but many don't.

Batumi Holy Mother Virgin’s Nativity Cathedral was built in 1897 with financial support of well-known brothers Zubalashvilebi. The three-domed church is constructed in pseudo-gothic style. During Soviet Union regime the church was used as an archive and a high voltage laboratory. After Georgia regained his independence the building was handed to Orthodox Church. The church is constructed with special stones. It changes its colour according to the weather which gives it additional mystery.

In the heart of the bustling city stands a monument to faith and human ingenuity, a towering testament to the divine. The largest cathedral in the urban sprawl, it commands attention with its sheer size and intricate design, drawing visitors from far and wide to marvel at its splendor.
From a bird's eye view, the cathedral reveals its true magnificence—a cross-shaped silhouette that reaches towards the heavens, an embodiment of spiritual aspiration. Each corner, each angle, whispers of devotion and craftsmanship, a symphony of stone and mortar.
Yet, it is not merely its size or shape that sets this cathedral apart; it is the kaleidoscope of color that adorns its walls. Stained glass windows, meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, breathe life into the sacred space, capturing the sun's rays and transforming them into a dazzling display of hues that dance and play upon the cool stone floors.
As the sunlight filters through the vibrant panes, it bathes the interior in a warm, golden glow, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow that seem to shift and change with the passage of time. And when the air is filled with the soft flicker of countless candles, their gentle flames casting dancing shadows upon the walls, the effect is nothing short of mesmerizing.
Here, in this sanctuary of light and shadow, faith takes on a tangible form, weaving its way through the very fabric of the cathedral and touching the hearts of all who enter. For in the presence of such beauty and grandeur, it is impossible not to feel a sense of awe and reverence, a reminder of the eternal mystery that lies beyond our understanding.

I visited this church on 31st December 2023, and first and foremost, the structure is truly impressive. I greatly admired the interior design. I wanted to take pictures but refrained from doing so to respect the rules, especially as a foreigner. However, as seen in other reviews, it seems the enforcement of rules fluctuates, which is disappointing.
Additionally, an incident with a staff member spoiled my experience. He began yelling at me and, despite not speaking English, (which is normal since he doesn't have to speak English) made no effort to explain when I inquired about the issue. He approached me aggressively, seemingly ready to cause a scene. After checking recent reviews, I found similar complaints about this individual. It appears his behavior is consistently unwelcoming towards foreigners, which is deeply concerning.
Despite this, I want to clarify that my overall impression of Georgian people remains positive. They are among the kindest individuals I've met. However, those like the staff member in question should not be working in a religious setting or public service, as their behavior is unbecoming and taints the experience for visitors.
Based on my experience and similar accounts, I would advise caution to those who might not fit the typical European appearance, as you may also be subjected to unwelcome behavior. It's unfortunate that the actions of one can significantly impact the welcoming atmosphere that should be synonymous with such a place.

This cathedral is a beauty. My friends and I were walking along the streets of Batumi when we encountered this cathedral and we decided to have a look. It was very peaceful and serene inside. In some churches / cathedrals, you're not allowed to take pictures, but for this one, you can.

The french Gothic architecture is known with colored high windows that points to the top (to the God)
It has sharp arches and this is a heavy and dominated style
The common materials are oak woods and the main colors are often Purple, purple, ruby, black, emerald, and green

The Batumi Archaeological Museum proudly displays a fascinating collection of ancient jewelry, artwork, pottery, relics and coins from various Georgian excavation sites. The exhibits offer a glimpse into the lives of historical individuals who used these artifacts in their daily routines. While some visitors found the information provided by QR codes and signs lacking, others appreciated the special golden and underwater rooms, as well as an accessible lift inside the building for disabled visitors.
Good for small local archaeological museum, they even have special golden and underwater rooms

Some amazing pieces here. I wish there was something- like a short film to get everyone’s interest, and then better and more interesting organization. Otherwise you have to stop and wonder - who used this? What was their life like? I didn’t love the QR code way of learning , the info was slightly better than the signs. Please - if you are going to the trouble of adding an accessible lift inside the building, please modify the outside ramp so it’s not so steep as to cause injury getting in! Rain and metal steep ramps don’t mix!
