We visited this church in Cancun as my mother-in-law likes to visit a church in every city. It’s very pretty and has a cute gift shop where I was able to buy my nan a couple of little gifts

I'm ExCiteD To Be HERE.. NOW
UpDate.. Just So YOU know.. I LOVE going to church(es)!
As soon as I landed in CanCun Mx. A driver was waiting for me outside the airport to take me to the place I would be until the following Sunday.
As soon as I arrived at the resort. I was taken to my room and I told Jesus.. Bye.. I GOTTA GO to CHURCH!!
Bus ride with traffic.. 50 mins. 22 pesos.
I arrived right on time.. like 3 mins to spare before the 8pm service.. I quickly took as many pics as I could before the service started.
I went to the front of the alter to see the beautiful statue of Jesus and get some pics. I looked to my left and noticed one of the assist to the Priest looking at me. I thought maybe I shouldn't be this close.. IDK ha ha ha
After I sat down, I realize, maybe she looked at me in a strange way, because I was dressed like them. Black pants.. white shirt.. except.. I had on a neon yellow shirt under my white button up. I was glowing hahaha
The service was great.. in Spanish. Great message, easy to understand.
Yes.. its all an open space.. What do YOU Expect... THIS IS CANCUN MX. IT IS WONDERFUL! Many people go to the beach and never stay.. its outdoors.. its hot and sticky. This is CanCun Church.. Its out doors. EnJOY IT!! Look to God and ask God to keep you cool. LoL
Some people drove to church. There was plenty of parking, its on the right side of the building. Many walked in from near by resorts and hotels. Maybe, needing to be there as I had to be. I had to get MY FIX!! TO Feel This God Presence ~> There at that moment, in time. IT WAS GREAT!
Sometimes I wonder.. I must have been connected to church, religion, spiritual stuff in my previous life. How BiZarre, I get into this as much as I do. IM NOT LIKE OTHER PEOPLE ha ha ha I've wondered why Im not like normal people. Ive accepted.... THIS IS GODs Idea.. for My LIFE!!
IF YOUR GOING TO GO TO CHURCH.. LOOK FOR A SPIRIT To TOUCH YOU!
EXPECT SOMETHING GREAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU!!
God LIKES TO HAVE FUNNNN TOO!! SO, ENJOY YOURSELF, While at Church!! ha ha ha
GOD LOVES YOU and SO DO I!! Peace
Now Gooo.. and Bring SomeOne, Some GOOD NEWS OR a Good Word OR Some LOVE.. in the form of a Taco maybe, hahaha Hugs.. time... listening... helping... comforting.. There are many ways to Show /Give LOVE! GET CREATIVE!
Thank YOU Parroquia De Cristo, for All The LOVE YOU GIVE!
I Feel it and I Appreciate it, SO VERY MUCH!!

First time going to mass outside of the United States. A great experience in the open air sanctuary! The presiding priest was so welcoming and inspiring! Put it on your list of "to do's" if you're visiting Cancun.

Beautiful open air church for anyone visiting from out of town. Natural connection to nature and Your Source. The organist sings live… magical voice resonates off the walls. English or Spanish… you are filled with reverence. I’m a tourist from NY and enjoy the mass whenever I visit. 👍🏼🇺🇸

Beautiful Church! Pleasant and caring members who welcomed us with open arms for Easter mass.

Big open-air concept church in Cancun, just perfect to pray, not much noise from the street. Also, nice small gardens and water spots to relax in harmony. Masses are performed in Spanish everyday.

Absolutely love Father John. He sent me encouraging prayer videos

Love the hours for Mass service as it gives me many options. I visit Cancun regularly and the bus stops right at the entrance. It only cost US$1.00. The cheapest visit to Jesus. Perpetual Adoration is a huge bonus! I love this Parish!

Great church, open so you can feel the air, great homily from the friendly priest today!!

Recommend a visit, the staff here is very friendly and helpful. The Church is easily accessible via the red bus, that is only 12 pesos per person, just tell the driver that you are going to the Parroquia and they will call it out. If they do not, it is located directly across from the Temptations Hotel. There is a bus stop there.

Mass at 9:30 on Sunday is in English, but there are three daily masses as well which are easy enough to follow. Such a beautiful, beautiful church and a very welcoming community, easy to get to by bus
The Xoximilco theme park is a Mexican culture and food themed amusement park located in the Mayan jungle. Visitors can enjoy a floating party on trajineras through the park's various attractions, including games and music. The food at the theme park is exquisite, and includes traditional Mexican dishes as well as international favorites.
Such a phenomenal experience! The boat host has you try so many fun activities, and it's great that they feed you too. The performances by the bands and mariachi's you pass by are 10/10. It's one of my favorite things to do in cancun. Also, I'd bring mosquito spray if you're going at night!

If you visit Cancun and enjoy tequila and boat rides, you cannot miss this. Although a bit expensive, you will have a really good time. There are 3 food courses: appetizers, hot meal, and desserts from different parts of Mexico. This experience is perfect for families, couples and friends. You will get to meet other tourists; and since this experience is 3 hours long, they provide the opportunity to get off the boat to utilize restrooms and purchase souvenirs while listening to live music.

Had a WONDERFUL time. The air-conditioned bus picked us up promptly from our hotel lobby and got us to the park in no time. Hector and Moises, our tajinera guide and "driver," made the night a fun and memorable one. Would recommend visiting if you're in the area and have an evening free. The experience is geared more toward adults, but the kids are welcome. We had our five year old with us, and it was a bit much for her. There is plenty of alcohol on board, and you're given a bit of several different foods to try; small portions. Thanks to Hector for making a call in advance for a special meal for our daughter as she wouldn't have eaten the food provided. The bus was ready for us at the end of the night and drove us back to our hotel.

I’m not usually one for social drinking settings but something about these boats makes me just feel good. I have no complaints! Facilities were clean and pristine, staff were kind and attentive to all needs, the experience was simply perfect. Well…I would have liked more cheese on the share tray! It was just too delicious!

I highly recommend this tour. It is so fun. Staff is so amazing. I want to say it's not so much for kids because of the drinking. I took my 2 little kids and they had fun but were telling me people were acting crazy lol. I gave it a 4 star because the food was cold and to me for what you pay you should get hot food not little samples. FYI eat before you go. Other then that it's such a great experience. I would definetly go back.

We had blast during this fiesta. Food was ok and drinks were light but this was absolutely worth it for the lively Mexican traditional experience. We found the photo package to be expensive esp. because you can take pictures on your own. Also, be sure to tip the staff who take you on the boat as they do really spend quite a lot of time and energy to keep the vibe going.

I will start by saying we all had a great time at Xixomilco! I wanted a good cultural experience for my boys, ages 15 and 9. This is their first time in Mexico and this was a great fit for that. Just a couple of things that would have changed this from a 3 star to a 5 star experience.
First, we are native English speakers and one of the things I looked for in reviews were was this appropriate for mainly English speakers. I realize we are guests here and so not every activity is a good fit for us. Based on the reviews I was under the impression that we would be put on a English or a Spanish boat. We were placed on a boat with 3 other native English speakers. Our host did an amazing job trying to be bilingual with every thing but it was very hard to do and sometimes we just kind of got left out at our end of the boat. Everyone from our pilot, to the host along with all of the passengers were fantastic. We just got a little lost sometimes trying to figure things out.
The only other thing that I felt was a downfall, in my situation is the pricing for minors. I thought my ticket was priced very fair for the extras that come with being an adult. I did think that for the kids it's was a little expensive. Couples or all adults, well worth the price!
For the record my kids both gave this 5 stars. Even though they were the only kids on the boat they loved it!

Only wish they had alcohol! Everything was great. The staff is so friendly, the amenities were new and bathrooms were SO clean.
Fun stuff to do, zip line, rope course, kayaking, Water rafting, large water park area for kids with tons of lifeguards. The buffet was also so yummy… it’s outdoors so I did get stung by a bee 🙃

The park is gorgeous! We went to the Xoximilco dinner party and we had a spectacular experience. I would like to thank Alejandro in the Maria Bonita boat. He went above and beyond helping us and entertaining us with good humor and creativity. 1000/10.

Booked this for my birthday dinner, it was indeed a fiesta. Our host Luis made sure everyone was having a good time and plenty to drink. My mom said this was the most fun she’s ever had, ever… and we had just gone skydiving that afternoon. It was a great time. Recommend getting some bug spray, they do sell some in one of the gift shops but it’s super greasy. Food was good, got to try different things and Luis explained what everything was. Definitely recommend trying it out for a great Mexican fiesta and hospitality experience.

Quite the party!!! The mole (all food really) was amazing. Chef's kiss. Felipe and the captain were attentive, entertaining, and great dancers! Absolutely recommend to any party animals and families looking to dance down the river. Tequila galore!
Stephanie Gerardo — Google review
How fun, best to enjoy with friends. This was a different experience, the guide and captain make of the trip a fun journey. They make everyone introduce and each person has to pick a challenge: Dance, yell the Mexican scream or have a shot… there are several stops to enjoy music from different regions and they serve food which to me was not great but good enough to have something to eat during the almost 4 hrs journey. in my opinion not for kids cause at some point people may get drunk and use harsh language but up to you. it is very fun and an experience worth of doing at least once
Carla Rodriguez — Google review
We had a great night. Highly recommend! The food was really good and there were plenty of tequila drinking games! There are a lot of mosquitoes but on the boat there's a mosquito spray free to use for anyone
Christina K — Google review
Fun experience, but we were the only ones on our boat who didn't speak fluent Spanish, so we felt a little out of place. The food was pretty good. The drinks flowed freely, and the bands were very lively. All in all, it was a pretty good night out.
Liv — Google review
We felt a little out of place due to being the only English speakers on the boat, but it was a great experience. The music was festive, the food was good (we didn't try the crickets/grasshoppers), and the games were fun. We didn't know any of the songs, so we didn't really get to play the games, but we watched and cheered everyone on. Not a fan of the desserts tray but everything else was good.
J Smiles — Google review
Great experience! The ambience was great!the workers were polite, nice and helpful. Great variety of LIVE Mexican music floating on gondolas along the ride, beautiful accurate cultural attire. Typical food sampling was interesting. The dessert sampling plate was perfect. Unlimited drinks was a plus. Very much recomended
Jose Mendoza Soto — Google review
Hands down. It is a fun activity if you like to drink alcohol. Giving 3.5 stars as the food was terrible and cleanliness was not well taken care of.
I wish, they could seated us with some English speaking folks(we were in a boat with Spanish speaking folks) due to that reason MC was speaking in Spanish most of the time and my husband and I was somewhat lost.

It was the highlight of our trip!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed interacting with our host Dario and other guests. His attitude and energy were everything ✨️ 🙌🏾 😌
Loved the "pass the bottle" game.
Loved the live bands!! The entrance location is unbelievably scerenic. We couldn't help but take photo after photo.
While the food was delicious, we couldn't finish it in time because we were drinking the tequila. Wish we could take the food that we already paid for, but it was discarded after we got off the boat.
It was replaced for free, but again, we couldn't eat it due to drinking. I hadn't eaten much before, so I had saved my appetite for the fiesta boat. Really wish we could have taken our plates to go to try all the delicious food, that's my only complaint. We left hungry and had to spend more money to eat after paying over $300 for 3 people.
Overall, we still had an amazing time, and I highly recommend it as Dario was the best, most humorous host. Just be sure to eat before you start heavily drinking.
9.5/10 experience

The music, the hosts, the park it's amazing. It's a whole vibe for any celebration! The music is amazing and it's live through all the ride which makes it even more fun seeing the mariachis. Then the park has an amazing structure and the boats are decorated with amazing name and a lot of space. The only thing I would say is that the food is not great, it need a little more quality but that would be the only thing. The activities you do in the boat depending on your host are super fun! My experience was amazig I recommend Anthony, he made our night one of the bests.

Great experience! Absolutely beautiful 😍
My family and I went there in 2022 .Lots of music ,musicians are playing music on separate boats(trajineras ) , we stoped at each boat to listen and dance.
They give you a food sampler and a candy sampler, while explaining what each thing you’re consuming. All you can drink both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages (although we didn't drink much alcohol since we had kids ). We got up and danced , had a great host! He was Funny same as the guy driving the boat. Played a game I sadly lost 😪Can’t upload any videos idk why but I definitely recommend and we had a whole school of kids.
Awesome experience, this family of 15 will definitely return.
The Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, Spa, & Nature Park is a luxurious all-inclusive beachfront property featuring nine restaurants and bars, multiple outdoor pools, a spa, and a kids' club. Tres Ríos always has amazing food and the serving staff are amazing! The last two days of this stay we had no AC and no way to cool down at night. Can’t keep the doors open due to bugs. The front desk staff and management basically have the attitude that they don’t care that the rooms are so stuffy you can’t breathe. Sleep is out of the question. It is fine during the day when you can be in the pool and cools down. They have no fans and no care in the world. The poor serving staff, cooks, and house keeping are working their butts off to try and keep everyone happy but I am sure they are getting heat stroke. With as much as every spends on time shares you would think the managing company would like to make their members feel comfortable even if it means spending some money and fans that can be put in the rooms. No the fans on the AC system don’t work either at this time.

Room
The room is clean and spacious includes jacuzzi on the veranda. All amenities worked well. Fast internet connection.
Food
Food is good. Great service and friendly people.
Location
The activities are far and the beach has a lot of seaweed (June). However, they offer bike, kayak, and snorkel tours within the property which makes it a unique experience.
Bernadette Rebite — Google review
The food is the only thing that would prevent me from going back to this place which is unfortunate because everything else was pretty good. The service, cleanliness, maintenance, friendliness and attentiveness of staff, plenty of activities on resort. Overall it was great for the value, not crowded at all, plenty of space everywhere, pools and garden areas, lots of wildlife including coatis, birds, iguanas and other lizards, crocodiles and fish in the river, snorkeling at the beach. Multiple Cenotes on property, can swim/snorkel in them (no crocs).
Sarfaraz Tarique — Google review
For a non-certified "GAMER" this place is rather dog water. The food is mid to bland. The recreational area (mini-golf and batting cage) is outside and empty. They really push their timeshare program (dont get it unless you plan to go on more than 5ish trips a year). The money they use for building new buildings could be used for fixing up the building and making each area look better. Would've loved a bidet toilet in the bathroom. The tour we got for free was just advertising their jewelry shop. Everything is rather expensive in this general area.
The pool and the beach are fine, about what you expect. They had live shows and events. Room service food was also blandish. The nfc wristband sucks. I wish it was just a card.

We have come to Hacienda tres Rios as RCI members; a family of five. We have invested a lot of money in this family vacation, even upgrading to the all-inclusive packages.
Two months before our arrival, we contacted Sunset resorts directly to make sure that we would have the highest level of membership benefits (as the various levels and colors of wristbands seemed to be a major problem for many in reviews). At that time, we were promised that we would, indeed have every member benefit available to “black wristbands”.
Now, having this information, we decided to keep our reservation.
Once we arrived, we immediately began learning of the privileges that we would not have (wine tastings, other special parties, no access to the included shuttle between the two Sunset resorts in Playa Del Carmen, no top shelf bevs, no access to the members only private beach area, and more).
I could go on and on. It’s a bit of a circus around the concierge desks as no one knows exactly what is allowed and not allowed. Nothing is in writing, and so expectations are not being met. (We had MUCH too high of expectations for top notch service.) It seems that we have asked all the wrong questions – because we continue to receive, “NO.” I have now spent around 6 to 7 hours, trying to navigate and understand these systems.
Grounds are exceptional. Beach is not great, but they’ve done a nice job paying attention to complaints around seaweed. 3 men work tirelessly and it’s now clean.
Many of the staff in the restaurants and across the resort are phenomenal. So many kind people that are doing their best work in spite of poor higher level management decisions. We especially commend Jey, Christian, Beline, Michelle, Javier, and Pedro (as Pedro has been the one that has had to report the most bad news back to us. He has done it with kindness and respect and sincere apologies.)
We do not recommend Hacienda tres Rios for RCI members nor non-Sunset members. Or, at least go understanding the level of access you will/will not have.

Ive been here for 6 hours, resort is dated and worn. Pool deck has extensive cracking. Food is mediocre at best. Very few food options. Drinks are terrible. Desert at little bakery cut out in sports bar is average...no forks for cake.
Anything worth drinking is extra. Ive paid similar for all inclusive elsewhere and gotten much better food and service. Oh yes 24 hour room service that they
tout.... no one answers.... and no menu in the rooms. Disappointed doesnt begin to describe how I feel.

Worst trip. They do not give an orientation of the hotel when you check in. They were extremely vague and did not go into details about the reservation or hotel. Everything they do is a fraud. They make sure you go to a promotional meet for 90-120 minutes on a designated day. You lose a whole day of activities just listening to them trying to convince you to purchase new packages for the future, regardless of how terrible your service already is. Be careful when you go to the promotional meeting. They try to make you buy packages to become members. They request your license and your visa. When you don’t pay attention and request them back, they will not return them. They stayed with the Visa card and my license. They are all a bunch of fraudulent people.

Only downfall was that the food was not so great. Also they make you sign in the beginning and everything is charged to room which is ok. But they constantly had us resign cause the signatures did not match exactly. Had a great big room and a tiny 30inch tv. Pool and location to beach was great. Abd everyone super friendly

Overall, the resort is pretty standard. Staff was very pleasant, but they were hung out to dry when the power went out.
Cons:
- The worst thing is that the power was out for an entire day while other resorts along the Riviera Maya had power. No A/C, no water (bathroom functionality), and no light. Communication from management was non-existent. We had to check out a day early because we couldn't shower and wouldn't be able to sleep without A/C. We were told nothing about potential refunds or moving us to a different hotel. The front-line employees were hung out to dry by management and left to be yelled at by angry guests. I felt really badly for them. It was a really poor ending to the trip on what was supposed to be a relaxing final day and a half. We still haven't heard from the resort, and they haven't answered out calls.
- Gym was closed at random times throughout the day
- There is seaweed all over the beach, which smells terribly. It's my understanding that that is pretty typical for the area as of late, but the resort doesn't clean any of it up. There is a "members only" beach that has the seaweed cleaned up, but I'm not really sure what it means to be a member. There are several other "members only" areas as well.
- Food was very mediocre.
- Not a big deal, and I'm not sure if this is pretty standard everywhere, but open-toed shoes were prohibited for males at almost all of the restaurants. It was pretty annoying given that you're at a tropical resort.
Pros:
- Luis, Ana, Sebastian were all very helpful and friendly. Other staff members were also very nice -- great people.
- We were there from May 5-9, and it wasn't too crowded, which was nice.

This was a time share exchange for us. The staff was great! Shout out to Alexis from the segway and kayak tours. RCI concierge was on point as well. He was fantastic! Honestly, the food and drinks could be better though. More traditional food and double alcohol on drinks would really take this resort to another level.

A superb effort has been made to maintain facilities, amenities and services during the major renovation phase that is underway which in no way negatively impacted my stay.
The transformation is seamless. If anything, I am looking forward even more to see the finished product a year from now if, God willing, time and opportunity so permit.

I've exchanged my RCI time share for many years, this resort now my #1. We were given the option of going non inclusive which I loved having that option. From the time we walked into our luxurious room I felt special..greeted with bottle of champagne and fresh fruits. Every day we were given something different. I was in disbelief, I had to call front desk to see if this was someone else's room! No other resort ever did this. Every day the beds were freshly made. We had a huge lockout room that slept 8. One of the rooms was so romantic with a modern bathtub located near the balcony. The pool side entertainment was very inviting ... Ricardo was amazing! Lots of games, life performance (mariachis) dancing instructions, plus daily Cooking demo by the pool. Afterwards we were treated to the paella, ceviche, tacos, Mexican corn on a stick, etc. The resort is beautiful and located on the beach. The night life music/entertainment was fabulous with no need to go out of resort. Very family oriented. I would definitely come back, but sadly their policy is that I can't come back til after 3 years!

We were promised a room with a pool view but upon arrival we were given an opposite view. We were facing the construction taking place. We were told we were not members so we have no choice. Next day we attended a presentation where there they were pushing a sale. We have money to invest however we choose not to return here and not invest because of poor service and rude lobby staff. If they want to sell their timeshare perhaps treating us with respect and dignity would have resulted in a purchase.
Pattie “Pattie” Garcia — Google review
Went to timeshare presentation. At approximately 115 pm I informed the salesperson (Emilio) that our bus leaves at 130. This was way past the 90 minutes that the presentation was supposed to take. He informed me that it wouldn’t be a problem to get a ride as soon as we were done. Well fast forward to 145 when the meeting finally ended ( I had reached the appropriate amount of “no im not buying” needed which was just under 200,000 if you’re curious) and were told we have to sit in the lobby and wait over an hour for a ride.

We stayed here for 5 days. We had a great service from all the restaurants we try and pool bartenders were great. The entertainment crowd was great always trying to motivate people to do activities at the pool or at night. The only bad experience was at our meeting presentation, the girl who did the presentation was great (Saira) and understood why we couldn't buy the package she was offering. But the guy at the end who signed that we did tye presentation was rude and unprofessional he even told us who comes to vacation without money and told us that we have to tip the the bartender who give us a drink during our meeting and I believe we haven't the only ones having a bad experience with their presentation.

I had the worst experience at this resort! The food was terrible and not clean at all!! Workers don't use gloves when working on food. They serve the same exact Mexican food every day. They serve left over food. The food in general was SO oily and disgusting. The fruit was not fresh at all.
We wasted our money and time and we got sick from the food.

My wife and I stayed here for five days on an all inclusive vacation getaway which included free transportationto and from Cancun International Airport. The resort is beautiful and located near the beach in the middle of the enormous Tres Rios Nature Park. You ocasionally see wildlife roaming around the grounds including an alligator sunbathing by the river.
If you come for the ocean this is not the place. The beach is full of rocks and sea weeds. However there is a nice lagoon with clear water available for swimming. The resort offers several fun activities. We took the kajacking tour. Shout out to Kika and Andy our kajack tour guides. Lots of fun activities to do in the resort. Swimming pools are clean and well kept and always plenty of clean towels in the pool areas. Has several pool bars and waiters constantly serving pool side drinks. Entire staff was very nice and courteous. The suites were nice and clean. Housekeeping staff were nice and very attentive. The resort grounds are kept pretty clean considering its located in a heavily wooded area. Though they have several restaurants and eaterys to choose from our favorites were the Hacienda Grill for a taste of authentic Mexican food and the Orno Pizzeria for brick oven baked pizza. A shout out to Miguel our server at Hacienda Grill. Took good care of us. He even recommended the Mar and Tierra plate. A combination of steak and shrimp plate. We attended their 90-minute presentation which lasted exactly the 90 minutes which we didn't purchase.
In sum, we really enjoyed our stay and we'll be looking forward to going back next year.
Playa Delfines is a beautiful white sand beach located near the Hotel Zone in Cancun. The beach is popular with tourists because of its serene atmosphere and lack of commercialism. It is not an ideal beach for swimming because of heavy currents and riptides, but it is perfect for lounging on the soft white sand.
Bright blue water as far as the eye can see, white sand, and the warmth of the sun against your skin. What more could you ask for?
This is a great beach with lots of umbrellas for public use, though be warned it gets quite busy and you’ll be fighting for a spot in the shade if you come later in the day! Also love that there are plenty of lifeguards and folks selling snacks and refreshments here.

Mind blowing! Beautiful blue water, fine grain sand, no sea weed, clean, long stretch to walk, safe. The road leading to this is pleasant, fashionable and lined with high class hotels. The beach is free and costs just 12 pesos one way by R1 bus from downtown. Must must visit for those travelling to Cancun. Certainly one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. There are lots of people however the beach is big and wide enough to absorb many people. Despite being crowded I still could find areas that were quieter than others

Nice beach. A few vendors with water and fruits but little outside of this. It's a welcome break from the non stop selling in other beaches but it's too bad there isn't a shop a little closer or a cafe. If you're looking to bring your own drinks (no glass allowed) and don't want to rent a chair or be bothered, it's top pick

Where the locals go! Great ample beach with no wall of hotels blocking your view. Water was fantastic!! Note: showers and bathroom shut down at 5!! Also at 5 along the road cause of the vegetation the bugs come out so you might get bit but it's all good. I recommend just grabbing a cab from Delfines back to your hotel although there is a bus

This beach is one of the best in Cancun. The waves are really fun. It is easy to get to using the public bus. This is a public beach, so there is no entry fee. There are changing rooms and toilets available.

This easy access beach has tons of FREE parking (although the parking attendants help for tips).
The water is ultra blue, the sand ultra fine and white coral and there is free showers and shade papalas to use. It can be busy with tourists but everywhere is on the strip. There are plenty of Iguanas in the dunes near the bushes.
Some waves to play in so be very careful if your not a strong swimmer or with children.

Lovely warm water with little seaweed but the waves are very rough so the lifeguards are blowing their whistles at people constantly. The beach is public and has quite a lot of umbrellas for shade. The famous Cancun sign is here but there is always a big line up so you may as well skip it and take pictures at one of the smaller signs farther up the road. The bus will take you here no issue but they don't like to stop to pick you up on the way back to the hotels.

Beautiful public beach. Plenty of parking. There are no vendors so bring drinks and snacks. Get there early to get a good spot with umbrella which are free. Bathrooms are open until 5, they are free and encourage that you tip.

Really nice beach, really clean and counts with bathrooms and showers.
The view is amazing.
Parking is not too easy but not too difficult either, they have some parking lots right in front and another one crossing the avenue.
Really good place to go with kiddos, they have some playgrounds for them, for sure they will enjoy them.

Beautiful public beach! I visited twice so far as it is a short walk from my hotel. First visit was around 1900 Tuesday evening just walking through for exercise, then Wednesday around 0700 just a short visit to nature watch.
This area felt very safe, even for a woman walking alone after dark as there were many people around (most appeared to be leaving around 1900), a mix of locals and tourists (lots of families) and everyone seemed respectful of each other. In the morning there were not many people yet which was nice for enjoying sunrise and nature.
There is a bus stop right by the parking lot, free public parking, restrooms, and public showers.

It is an absolute paradise for beach enthusiasts. The pristine white sand stretches as far as the eye can see, complemented by the mesmerizing turquoise waters. The gentle waves create a soothing soundtrack, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with breathtaking sunsets, makes Playa Delphi an enchanting and unforgettable coastal haven. A must-visit for anyone seeking the epitome of natural beauty and tranquility.
Xcacel Supermanzana 504 is a designated protected area located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. This ecologically important region is home to various species of flora and fauna, including sea turtles which nest on its beaches. The site also features a cenote (a natural sinkhole) that serves as an important source of freshwater for the surrounding ecosystems.
This white sand beach is open to the public and offers showers, bathrooms, and nearby restaurants. The beach is known for its choppy waters which make it great for surfing and water sports. It's popular with tourists, but can be quieter if you choose to walk in one direction or another.
Such an incredible beach! There was less than twenty of us on this beach from about 11 AM to 2 PM on a Saturday. An umbrella with two lounge chairs was 300 MXN and the guys who rented them were all very friendly. Very quiet and relaxing beach with a very family atmosphere. The waves were quite strong, but even with a red flag, the lifeguard was very kind and let us go out pretty far. Definitely recommend checking this beach out to get away from any crowds.

This was my favorite beach in Cancun. Spacious and not as busy as playa Delfines. The water is warm and clear, can be quite wavy on a windy day. Free parking on the street is quite busy but we were able to find a spot anyway when we came before noon. Showers and washrooms are there. There are people who try to get you to rent an umbrella but there are also free wood umbrellas, and they were often available.

Best public beach in Cancun Zona Hotelara, the water is amazingly turquoise and although there are quite strong waves it is still clear. Even with red flag, bathing is allowed by the guard. There are umbrellas and sunbeds to rent. Not very crowded (I visited it on Friday)

Such a beautiful beach. I went there on a Tuesday so it was very peaceful and quiet. It was about 11am, and there might have been less than 30 people there. I was also able to get a massage right there at the beach. May I say that she did an amazing job. Between full body massage and the sounds of the waves I fell asleep almost instantly.

Playa Marlin occupies the central part of the Cancun eastern strip. It's one of those you see on Cancun postcards and ads.
As there're many hotels along it, it's very well maintained from their staff and therefore immaculately clean.
From recently all beaches in Mexico are public, so you can use it even if you're not staying in one of the hotels along it, but without using their sunbeds of course.
The beach is famous for its big waves and most of the time you'll see the red flag raised, but you can use it with caution.

The Torre Escénica del Embarcadero de Cancún is a magnificent 80-meter tower located in the Xcaret park. This impressive attraction boasts a rotating observation deck, providing visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline. Although it may be considered overpriced by some, it offers an unforgettable experience that allows you to see Cancun from multiple angles and enjoy stunning views of the island, bay, ocean, and city.
Overpriced (but that's everything in Cancun for tourists). Despite the price; it's a very good experience. It goes up almost 100 meters and slowly rotates for several minutes so you can get a great view of the entire island, bay, ocean, and city.

We had a complimentary pass because we had purchased admission tickets to Xcaret parks. Since it was free and the tower was close to where we stayed, we decided to make use of it. The way up was smooth and we saw the stunning views of Cancun all the way to Isla Mujeres from the tower with the voice commentary explaining the views. We recommend going there around sunset to catch the sun set. However on the way down there was a jolt and we were not coming down. There was a technical failure and they let us know about it after the lights kept going on and off and we were seated in mid air about 100feet above the ground within the rotating capsule of the tower. The crew told us it was a technical failure only after 10minutes. But they somehow managed to bring down the capsule very slowly (inch by inch) after a thrilling half an hour. Later they apologized and said it happened rarely and that it would always be fixed and that the tower capsule would not really fall down. The views from the top were mesmerizing but except for the technical failure the tower was worth the visit.

If you just want to take this ride, try not to.
Ticket is expensive about 20USD and it only takes about 15 mins, no much fun.
I think you can buy it with some other activities which will be way more cheaper.
Parking is not free, 15 peso per hour and the machine only takes pesos you have to pay the ticket before exit.
Plus it is not that high.

The best parking spot if you want to go to Isla mujeres with the ferry or you want to visit the viewing tower . There is also theatre, pirate boat experience, beach bar, gift shop , toilets on every floor. You can buy there tickets to many experiences. Do not buy tickets to the ferry from someone else. And do not park somewhere else as they will rip you off. Parking here is 15 pesos per hour and adult ticket to Isla mujeres is 24 dollars and the viewing tower ticket is included .the boat was very spacious , you can sit also outside . There is AC inside. You don’t feel the waves it is very stable boat. I recommend this place to everyone .

Museo Maya de Cancún y Zona Arqueológica de San Miguelito
The Maya Cancun Museum showcases the artifacts from Mayan ruins in the Mexican Caribbean and is open to the public. The museum is housed on top of San Miguelito pyramid and dwellings, which are cleverly integrated into the grounds.
Absolute gem! Take one of the local red buses along the strip (cheap, fast & fun). The museum is a very impressive building & collection that is well worth a visit. The surrounding jungle park and archaeological site is great to walk around, with iguanas, interesting plants and ruins that you visit via a little path that weaves through the trees.

Wonderful museum, with Mayan ruins, including a largely intact temple, located on the same property. Located only minutes away from most of the resorts in the hotel zone, and along the bus route, meaning it's super easy to get there and back to your hotel for just $2 USD per person. The ruins are located along a nature path that winds through a preserved portion of the native forest. TONS of iguanas and other wildlife, and gorgeous trees and plants. Only need a half day to enjoy everything. Pro tip: Some of the plaques describing the artifacts are written only in Spanish, but if you download the Google Lens app, you can use it to instantly translate the descriptions into English (or any other language) just by pointing your phone's camera at them. Worked awesome!

“Despite the lack of parking, the inexpensive entrance fee and concise 1-2 hour tour made this visit worthwhile. The small but stunning display of Maya art and craft was a highlight. The pleasant walk outside, featuring Maya ruins and a charming town with temples, added to the experience. Situated conveniently in the Hotel Zone, it’s an ideal stop, especially if you’re en route to the airport, just 20 minutes away. I highly recommend making time for this enjoyable visit.”

Very interesting place, well exposed with sections and the corresponding objects: Life, religion, war, home, etc.
Not many people around. Missing lights on sectors where you could expect to see details in the small objects, simply a matter of replacing bulbs...
Then after, you may visit the external part of the museum, with real old building ruins, real mayan path in this domesticated jungle with magnificent trees and lizards all around.
A not-expensive visit in a fresh place
Miguel Gonzalez — Google review
Interesting items - we took our time and read the info next to almost each piece shown in the museum.
We did not walk to the ruins - I mean we tried for a minute but there were swarms of mosquitos and we each got dozens of bites...we turned around and went into the museum instead. If you want to walk make sure you bring a big bottle of mosquito repellent, long sleeves/pants maybe etc...the museum is indeed small but cute - when we got there at 9:15 am we were the first ones and by the time we left an hour later maybe 10 people were there. It's 90 pesos a ticket, and free on Sunday (but probably packed).

This museum was amazing! There was a small portion to visit inside. It had a sabre tooth tiger skeleton, Mayan jewlery, pottery, art, and stone tablets. There was a lot of information about each display. As a pregnant woman, I was really happy to see that there were public restrooms and plenty of benches to sit on around the museum, both inside and outside. The artwork in the garden was beautiful, and there was also a long trail filled with lizards, birds, and Mayan ruins to see outside. It was wonderful.

My husband and I visited the Museo Maya de Cancún on January 5th, 2022.
The Museum is nice and well maintained, at least the rooms that were open to the public (some areas were closed). The collection of Mayan artifacts is quite interesting, however, we noticed that not all of them are properly labeled. That was a bummer because you can find several objects behind the glass and just a general description, but in some cases it is hard to know which are the corresponding objects that the texts are referring to. Don't go there expecting a thorough exhibition of the Mayan civilization, because it is a rather small museum, nonetheless it is worth visiting. Another strange thing is, as of January 5th of 2022, we were charged 85 Mexican pesos per person for the admission, instead of the 80 mxn listed on their website (it is actually the INAH's website). Also, since it is a federal building you can't pay with dollars or any other currency, it has to be Mexican pesos, thankfully they do take credit and debit cards. And lastly, don't buy anything at the souvenirs store, everything is ridiculously overpriced and not very good.
They have a designated area/gallery for temporary exhibitions, the one that we saw was from various contemporary Mexican artists and we enjoyed it quite a lot.

If you want to change your plans and stand out of the pool, this Maya and Mexican history museum may be a great idea. Overall, visit won’t last longer than an hour; gallery in the inside and a quick walk into à well preserved jungle to Maya’s pyramid ruins. Children can enjoy as well.

It's a super little museum that is easy to get to in the Hotel Zone of Cancun.
The modern building is home to an excellent collection of Mayan artefacts, which are very well presented with accompanying information plaques. There are two art exhibition areas to enjoy as well.
The small entrance fee also includes a walk through the archaeological site along shady paths through jungle vegetation.
There are several ruins to enjoy and if you're lucky, you'll also see some of the snakes and lizards that inhabit the site.
Michael Lees — Google review
Really small couple of exhibits that you'll be in and out of within 30 minutes. Downstairs is actually some ruins to check out. If you're in the area already, might be a nice detour but it may not be worth an Uber ride just to see it.
Mike X — Google review
Located in the hotel zone and inexpensive. Walking in there are sculptures of combination animals that Mayan portray. Outside you walk through wooded shaded paths to see Mayan ruins. Nice walk but watch for mosquitoes. Inside air conditioned 2 halls of artifacts on display and a really detailed history (in Spanish and English) of the Mayans through the Spanish Conquest.
Julie Neibich — Google review
What a nice place right in the hotel zone. Admittedly, the museum has seen better days. But just for about 75 MXN you get access to the whole archeological site and a museum with a collection of ancient artifacts.
The site is a place of many old foundations and a pyramid. There are several signs to learn more about the place and they are written in both English and Spanish. You can expect to spend about an hour here.
The museum is located on another floor. It holds a lot of history, but unfortunately, a lot of signs are only in Spanish. Nevertheless, you can find both building ornaments and personal items there.
The whole place is stroller friendly, but the museum elevators weren't working at the time of my visit. This means that you need to take a long route upstairs.
I definitely recommend this place if you're interested in history.

A gem of a museum. I loved walking around this modernist building and looking at their extensive collection of mesoAmerican and Mayan steles, pottery, statues and more. For people like me who have limited Spanish, the placards are in English and Spanish.
There is a fantastic trail behind the museum that walks you through the archaeological remains of houses and temples. So many lizards too! Plus modern artwork.

Little place in the middle of the concrete jungle with a nice set of exhibits telling the history of the area and the cultures that inhabit it.

Nice little museum with some interesting artifacts. Doesn't take long to go around (30 minutes or so). It’s very little to look at. It’s maybe a 15 minute trip total. There is soooooooo much walking. The upstairs is nice. The downstairs has a few pieces outside. & then it’s a walking trail. I’m not sure why it’s there or what it’s supposed to be, but it was ok. I do recommend packing mosquito repellent because the mosquitoes there are vicious!
The serene beach Playa Chacmool is perfect for a day at the beach. It has white sand beaches, big ocean waves, and tranquil waters. It's located near many restaurants and nightlife in the central Cancun area, making it a popular spot with tourists.
Amazing public beach with all necessary facilities, like a clean restroom, umbrella services and a life guard. Also saw several police and national guard stop and hang out for awhile. You can also get some music from the resorts nearby.
From the street, follow the blue Playa sign. Beach parking is free but you have to ask to enter if the chain is up, which means it's full. Best to come early morning if you're driving.
The beach was really clean and free of debris. The water was amazingly blue, especially in polarized sunglass.
Definitely bring your snorkel because there's lots of coral/rock formations just beyond the waves.

Top beach in cancun. Public bathroom no toilet seat no toilet paper no running water in 10pesos but it is there. Also showers to rinse off. Great beach if you enter here and walk north. You get to listen to the music for free. I also recommend as the sun sets and the beach falls into shade walking north past the big rock towards coco bongo and beyond- up by the break water (big pile of rocks at the northernmost point of the beach). This area has the sun the longest and is the BEST place to swim in cancun due to the breakwater.

Great public beach with fine white sand and warm water. There were free men’s and women’s washrooms/change rooms which were relatively clean. Limited shaded areas, though there were umbrellas for rent (we were offered a day rate of 500 MXN for a simple umbrella). There’s an Oxxo and Circle K near the public entrance which sell all the snacks and beverages that you’ll need.
One downside were the aggressive waves. It was particularly windy on the day of my visit which may have played a part. I can’t comment on the undertow, though it seems as though there are calmer waters for swimming farther north in a coved area.
Dan Omoigui — Google review
Must say it's the best public beach in the Hotel Zone. It's not very big but not a lot of people go there.
The water is quite calm and can be enjoyed as there are small waves, as opposed to playa delfines where the waves can be extremely rough and somewhat dangerous.
It was also very clean and past 5 p.m. the buildings give shadow. There is also some public bathrooms and showers at the entrance of the beach.

Dolphin Discovery Riviera Maya is an aquatic center located near Dreams Aventuras Hotel that provides visitors with a variety of interactive dolphin swim options. The center offers detailed information on local wildlife and animal care practices, making it an educational experience for families who can enjoy seeing the animals together in pods. This unique encounter with magnificent creatures promises to be one-of-a-kind and unforgettable.
It was my first time around dolphins and I experienced pure joy from the encounter! I was so lucky my trip was off season and it was just the instructor, dolphins and me. I got to meet 5 of these majestic creatures each is very personable and playful. One of them was not supposed to join the push on the paddle activity, but she insisted and instead of just one dolphin I got two propelling me! It was amazing! The instructor- Gisel - is very knowledgeable and easy to work with, she knows her dolphins and manatees very well which is always a plus to break the ice when they meet random strangers. The whole team did such a great job and it was a flawless, full of joy experience. I was not planning to get the pictures, but when I saw them, I had to, these memories are too precious not to have a reminder of how these wonderful sea creatures made me feel!
Would highly recommend to anyone to put this on your bucket list!

If only there was a zero star rating. This place is absolutely disgusting - there are around 15 dolphins and 3 seals (and those were the ones we saw) trapped in tiny and shallow caged ponds, just waiting to be entertainment to humans in exchange for $100. They stay in the same tiny ponds all day and night, they are constantly around noise as they are near all the restaurants and nightlife of Puerto Aventuras, and the water is filthy. This business should be ashamed of themselves keeping these incredible, beautiful, intelligent animals in such horrendous conditions.
Before you consider swimming with dolphins (in this establishment or any others), please do your research about the dolphins welfare when they are being held captive - and consider going to see them in their wild, natural habitat instead.

Unfortunately there's no 0 star rating. We didn't visit the place, but walked past it a few times during our stay in Puerto Aventuras. It's a real shame that these magnificent creatures (dolphins, sea lions and manatees) are kept in captivity... Animal Liberation!!

We had an amazing experience at the Dolphin Discovery! They were very timely for the pick up at our hotel. We were checked in quickly and waited a short time for our experience to start. Our Dolphin guide was awesome and very informative as well as patient and pleasant. The dolphins were amazing. We did the deluxe package so we got a kiss from the dolphin, swam holding their fins, foot push and patty cake with their flippers. Then we moved on to see the sea lion. The trainer was awesome and we got a kiss on the cheek from the sea lion, a smile, stuck out his tongue and a loud roar! The final activity was feeding the manatees which was a very cool experience. After the three activities we ate at the included lunch buffet which was pretty good for the price we paid. The only complaint is the photos they took cost way to much money to buy at $162 for 98 digital pictures that were a lot of duplicate pictures. We opted to buy one digital picture for $40 that we have to print out at home. I would highly recommend this dolphin experience.
Michelle Rubin — Google review
It's okay. Wish we could bring our own camera. Instead they take multiple of same poses of pictures for $160. You get about 100 pictures but lot of duplicates poses. We where rushed through. But it was a fun experience overall.

These animals could be thriving in the wild. It is unethical to induce the psychological harm of having them in captivity. Such intelligent mammals have complex social development with other dolphins and the environment they live in. It is sad that peoples own self gratification of swimming with captive dolphins makes this such a popular attraction.

If you get hungry while walking around, it’s some really good restaurants like Baby Lobster you could stop into. I did everything from buy an oversized oil painting to have fish swimming around my feet. It was a bit of a hassle with the sellers at the kiosks but I’ve learned to just keep it moving. Overall fun place to spend some time!

When you're in the Zona Hotelera in Cancun, this is a must do stop. You can't spend every waking moment on the beach, and this is a great way to have a change of scenery.
It's up market, clean, and has a great selection of shops, entertainment, and restaurants to suit every budget.

Perfectly structured, has everything you need in order to spend a whole day there! Amazing open air shopping mall with lots of green, lakes. Many activities inside, restaurants, bars etc. And last but not least, not that crowded!

Pretty good mall overall. Be careful of all the scammers that trying to get you in the tour. They will appear friendly but will try to screw you over. Just get the tickets better either online or at the destination.
Delphinus Punta Cancún is an aquarium that features dolphins and other marine animals. It is located on the coast of Cancun, Mexico. The dolphins in the aquarium are known for their playful personalities and social behavior.
Such a good expierence, my friend and I did it together and got lucky being the only 2 to do it at 4:30pm om a Wednesday.
It was $109 for the 30 min in water expierence w/ dolphin pull and $246 for the photos & video, so total was $233/person as we were able to share/split the video & photos.
We met Jack a 24 year old alpha and Amus who's 6 and super playful. They provided life jackets, intro video and lockers/changing area if you need it.
Super fun and I'd do it again, they seem happy and playful with really great interactions and listening skills.

We had a great time with the dolphin Romero. My cousin is really afraid of water so we did the Dolphin Encounter in the Pool. It was great, she was able to stand on the ledge in the water while touching and taking pictures with the dolphin. It was a little hard to get in the right place as we were waiting for someone to bring us a different life jacket and they left us. Luckily we were able to figure out where to go and enjoy our experience. Also they ran out of lockers but we were lucky enough to be able to share one with someone else we knew from our hotel.
Overall great experience but it is what you make it. If you are looking to spend a long time with the dolphins you should look for a different experience. But if you are someone that just wants to touch a dolphin for the first time and have small interactions then this is perfect.
I did purchase the $50 picture package prior to going. It is a little expensive as I had to do one per person for only about 5 pictures but they were instantly on my phone so that was great. I also was able to print one picture out for $10 so that was good. I do recommend downloading the app (Dolphin Memories) before you go but you will need to be on their Wifi in order to get the picture. MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE PICTURES ON YOUR PHONE BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
The small water slides are awesome as well. I am a 30 year old big kid and I enjoyed it. Only problem is that there is no one watching the kids that are there ( parents or staff) so you have to be very mindful of what's going on at the bottom before you go do the slide. The kids like to try and climb up without knowing if anyone is coming down.

Amazing experience of a lifetime. It's wonderful interacting with the dolphins. We did the fin ride, which was super fun. Just that the digital album is super expensive. Don't forget to bargain...

This was a fun extra to do on our vacation. My kids, 2 and 5, really enjoyed swimming with and petting the dolphins. The only drawback however is the price. The lowest priced activity starts at about $100 per person. The price goes up from there to do more with the dolphins. You aren't allowed to take pictures of your own so you have to buy a photo package if you want pictures of your time with the dolphins. You can buy one or two pictures alone but they are very expensive. I think the lowest package cost about $200. Overall, it was a fun experience but it is very expensive.

The dolphins were awesome and very gentle. I took our 6 year old. She loved every second of it. She got scared to swim out and pet it alone, at one point. I went first, and then they let her join me. Great staff and wonderful memories. The photos are a little bit pricey, but they take excellent pictures.

This place hands down is the best dolphin swim you will ever get. Very personal you swim with the dolphins and watch them do a personal show. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make you feel right at home with the dolphins. The fact its in salt water and the water is not choppie is an incredible and personal experience. I love how they take several pictures as this is a once in a lifetime moment and experience. I don't mind at all. The pictures are priceless. I paid for all the digital pictures as well as the book where you pick 20 pictures and they make you a custom book. I don't mind the prices at all. Very well ran and I would do this a million times over!!!!

We booked the supreme package for a family of 4. The staff was great and of course the dolphins were great. The facilities are nice and I found it better than other alternatives in the open ocean. Having done open ocean before, I can say that it is much harder due to the waves (especially when it is windy). I took off a star because they try to upsell you on the dorsal tow and this is a typically included experience at this price point. Also note that the pictures are very expensive. Again, having done this in Cozumel, I was expecting as much. However, they are higher than others I have dealt with. The base picture package starts at $270. I will admit that the quality of the photos was excellent. But, the fact is they know you want the pictures (especially if you have a child) and they have to captive. So, my message to readers is just to be prepared for it and include an extra expense in the cost. All things considered, I still recommend it. It's a memory most will never forget.

I think the experience itself was amazing with the daulphins and the staff was nice and very knowledgeable but for me the memories are just as important as the experience itself so the fact that the pictures are almost 4x (208usd) the price of the actual experience ruined the whole thing for me. Eepecially having done alot of differents activities during our stay in Cancún with the pictures no more than 60usd. Too bad really.

Customer Review:
My experience at the show was great and thoroughly enjoyable for the entire 90 minutes. However, I feel it's important to warn others about the unexpected cost associated with the pictures and videos offered afterward. Initially, we were shocked by the high prices quoted, until they eventually lowered it to $90 USD after negotiation. This sudden pricing discrepancy left some customers, including a mother, feeling upset and taken advantage of.
It's frustrating to pay for tickets upfront, only to be blindsided by additional charges for pictures and videos. This kind of pricing tactic feels like price gouging and is frankly ridiculous. As a reputable establishment, there should be transparent communication about costs upfront, along with standardized pricing.
Why are the pictures\video priced as if they're made of gold? It's unreasonable. I recommend others to take their own pictures whenever possible to avoid this costly experience. Lesson learned: pictures\video are EXPENSIVE, so be sure to take your own snaps!

Absolutely tragic for the captive dolphins. They are kept in a TINY pool when they should be free in the ocean. Instead, they are used as a tourist trap! Please do not be fooled, In the wild, dolphins can travel up to 80 miles a day at speeds of almost 20 miles per hour. Life in a tank causes stress and neurotic behaviors, such as swimming in endless circles. this is beyond cruel and inhumane. Please stop supporting this.
Bianca Molina — Google review
Be careful when you sign up for this. The devil is in the details. Their most expensive Premium/Premiere package only includes the foot push and NOT the dolphin ride.
The premium/premier is 45 mins for a group of 4 BUT is VERY repetitive. They do the same thing over and over like the dolphins "playing music", feeling the dolphin skin etc. My recommendation, simply DONT take the premium package. For just $20 extra you can get the dolphin ride.
BTW both ride or foot push is exactly 20 feet of being on the dolphin so... yeah!
Also their BIGGEST SCAM is the Photos/Video package! The photos and video, which THEY take is the same price as the ticket itself! This is the ONLY PLACE that charges USD 325.00 (yes you read that correctly, $325 USA DOLLARS!) for photos and video. What's WORSE is, you or your family members CANNOT take photos/video of your own since your own cellphones and go-pros are NOT ALLOWED.
AVOID THIS PLACE!

Great place friendly staff, they don’t allow you to take pictures (unless you have friend/family watching from balcony area
Up high) . Then when you are done they give you no choice but to spend 250 US! Or one print for less but that’s not enough. I had to convince the manager to bring price down but ridiculous pricing . For them digital cost nothing so please make your prices more affordable. Not everyone has a lot of money … or tell people before they buy ticket so they are prepared for this!

This is for our experience in Cancun Punta (inside the Hotel Ziva):
I wouldn’t recommend this Dolphin experience to anyone who’s not staying in the hotel Ziva
Even though you pay for the Dolphin experience , they don’t allow you to stand anywhere because it’s hotel property
We were basically escorted out while our child was swimming with dolphins
After paying to have the magical experience to swim with the dolphin , we were treated like criminals; we left very irritated
Delphinus shouldn’t be renting/oferring this program inside the hotel
Hotel stuff/security is watching your every step
Very irritating experience with “don’t stand here don’t walk there” after spending $110 per person
The Marina Puerto Cancún shopping mall is an upscale establishment that offers a range of international retailers, cafes and restaurants. It's located in the Hotel Zone in Cancun and can be regularly visited by guests of hotels in the area. The mall has both local and international brands like H&M, Zara Home and Best Buy. There is also a cinema, salon and barber shop on site.
A lot of shops. Was here for pickup for a tour. Everything looked very nice, high end. Hotel zone, so a little pricy but convenient. Met a man from my city there selling beautifully painted(resin) side tables, coffee tables and his lovely Mexican wife of many years. Beautiful couple😊

That was the first kind of mall that I’ve seen in my travels. The architecture of the place is interesting, and it sits by a marina where you can see others buildings and part of the water that comes from the ocean. Plenty of outdoor space to sit and walk. It’s not taking five stars because it has a reasonable food court with loud music.

A very nice mall with all of the coolest stuff that a person could want.
It was a bit too upscale for me.
The visit was part of a complimentary day tour from a Riu resort just north of town.
The mall was very clean with convenient escalators, clean washrooms and many shops with fashion being the biggest item for sale.
I would return.

Dolphinaris Cancún is a popular tourist destination that provides opportunities for visitors to interact with dolphins in man-made enclosures. The facility offers various interactive encounters and activities, all while providing amenities such as a sun deck lounge and bar. Visitors can enjoy their time at the center while observing or participating in dolphin interactions, creating memorable experiences for all who visit.
Amazing experience, just wish it was a bit longer in the water with the dolphins, still really good though.
And xel-ha park is just the best place on planet earth, love it and can't wait to go back. Thank you.😊

Awesome experience with dolphin interaction. It was included with my hotel stay for 4 family members. This was our first time ever and we do not regret anything. The pictures that staff took are really nice and it is hard not to get them especially when it was first time but it is a bit pricy ($189 for all digital photos for package of family of 4). I was expecting less.

My family of 6 visited Dolphinaris today and ended up having an amazing time. We spent about 30 minutes interacting with the male and female dolphins. All the staff was truly amazing, I can’t remember their names but super professional patient, kind and respectful. The photo payment is hefty but totally expected.

The dolphins were great but the actual experience for the money you spend was insane. We likely spent $1000 USD for 30 minutes in the water and pictures for a family of 5. The pictures were $400 for digital downloads. The employees didn’t seem to really want to be there and it just fell short for a great experience. There isn’t anything to do while you wait after drop off and pick up. The kids enjoyed it but we have been to other dolphins experiences that you got more time with dolphins and cost a lot less money.
Xplor is an adventure park with zip-lining, amphibious vehicles, rafting, and underground rivers. It's one of the most visited theme parks in the world and is known for its exciting activities for adrenaline junkies. Admission includes transportation to and from the park, a meal, and unlimited drinks.
This place is absolutely amazing. We did the night time activity and it’s was totally worth the $105 dollars we spent. Parking was easy to find. Be prepared to walk and also bring a change of clothes. Water shoes are a must. We went during the week and it wasn’t too crowded. We got to do the rides several times. There is no bar there for obvious reasons but it was an amazing time. I can’t wait to go back.

This place was beyond what I could have imagined. The exciting outdoor water activities, the zip-lining, and even the food was amazingly delicious. I had a wonderful time here and it was my first time. I advise everyone to purchase the bracelet for pictures and also the buffet. Staff was very friendly and professional. Zip-lining staff was on their A-game from the beginning, not some, ALL OF THEM. They were courteous, professional and they never stressed when the people piled up. I was really astonished by how well this theme park ran. The amount of memories I created here will be one I can remember forever.

Highly Recommended!! My visit lasted around 5 hours, and I must say it was time well spent. There's ample parking, and getting tickets was a breeze. Food and drinks were included in the price of the ticket, which is a fantastic bonus. Additionally, lockers are available to store your items, making it convenient and worry-free.
One piece of advice: make sure to walk with your water shoes!! If you forget them, don't worry; some are available for purchase onsite.
Overall, it was an amazing experience!

Awesome park. The wait was minimal at two of the zip lines points. Time went by so fast because you're always moving, and before we knew it, it was lunchtime. The restaurant had a large selection of food and the best part, it was warm and delicious. And there are no words for the wait staff, I can only think of exceptional, and I still think it's not enough to describe these hard attentive workers. The same is said for the rest of the staff. The staff at the rides make you feel safe, always ensuring safety was carried out and ensuring that one was doing okay.

We visited this park at the end of September so we got experience this park to the fullest! There were little to no lines at any of the attractions here, we got to do every attraction at least twice.
The entire park was so beautiful and amazing, I’m truly at a loss of words!
- Buffet here was delicious. So many different items that were so amazing here so I cannot name them all, you just have to check it out and try them
- The entire staff here was very helpful and friendly
- Both zip lining courses were amazing
- The ATV were an amazing experience. There’s two courses here, one of them is definitely way better than the other
- The underwater caves left me at a loss of words. They were so beautiful
- The hammock zip lining was cool. Nothing compared to the actual zip lining
I’ll definitely be coming back to this park!

We spent a wonderful day!! Still in awe how well-managed everything is in the park. The stuff is always helpful, friendly and smiling at you. Whenever you go, you are always surrounded by the rainforest and beautiful scenery. The park is themed around caves and underground exploration. I have never before in my life had a swim or took a raft in the cave. So impressive!
Tips wise:
- bring your own water shoes
- bring your own waterproof phone holder (700$ pesos in the park)
- bring your own towels
- go to the zip lines either the very first thing or the very last. It gets the most crowded around 10:00-10:30 am.
- explore 2 routes with ATVs. The one with the departing station 1 and 2 is way cooler
- try to buy the ticket in advance (at least 48 hours to get the discount)
Underground expedition was a bit underwhelming. You just walk through the cave. If there is a queue, I would recommend doing other activities first like the raft and swimming.
Unfortunately, during our visit TOBOGANXOTE (the water slide) was not open yet:((
Other than that, I would highly recommend spending the day with your family, friends or loved ones there.

This place was sooo fun...it was an amazing experience. I got there just after the park opened and was able to do every experience as well as eat. My favorite experience was the jeep ride but everything else came in second because it was hard to choose. If you do ziplining be prepared for a lot of walking and climbing. The buffet offered a variety of different food and drinks which all were good. You definitely want to have water shoes and if you bring your own sunscreen it has to be biodegradable, they'll check the Ingredients on it and if contains certain things they'll hold it for you (you pick it up when you leave) and give you packets of biodegradable sunscreen to use. They give you a locker to use which is a decent size and the key is on a wristband that can withstand all the activities. I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back and try the night experience!

A fabulous day for all the family at Xplor. A very well organised place which flows seamlessly from one activity to the next. Very helpful and nice staff, especially Raul in the restaurant who had exceptional customer service.

All activities are fabulous, particularly the ATV's and zip lining. Great selection of food In the restaurant too.

Absolutely worthwhile experience! All the activities were fun but I especially liked the zip lining, as you go through many different courses and eventually land to a water area.
I really liked that the had two areas where you can have refreshments and cookies, and the buffet restaurant too. Provided a nice resting area before going with the next activity.
One thing to note, they have restrictions on the sunscreen you can use, so be wary of that as they will take it and hold on to it while you're there.

This is one of our favorite places when we come to the riviera maya! They have the best zip line circuit around and all the activities are well worth the admission price! Their buffet is the best we have had at any theme park and is included in the price. The park is very well planned out and i believe everything is posible to do in one day. Pretty soon the will have their next attraction ready to go, its a big slide that includes i believe 4 different slides

Spending a good day there, lots of activities and quality of the services and food was good. Dont trust the colour sign about the activities, it shows red (busy) but nobody was there or shows green (not busy) many people were there. They tried to manage the time but giving you the not accurate spending time on the line. Better to start from one and follow the rest. If its a busy day you need to full day 9-5PM to be able to finish all activities.
Be sure to have water shoes and comfortable swimsuits.

Visited Xplor whilst on holiday in Cancun, I’d researched it prior to coming and we both knew we wanted to visit.
We arrived through our transfer at 9 and was seen promptly, we were provided helmets & our locker key. Bring your own water shoes and waterproof phone case if you want to take photos. We did but saw they were selling water shoes for over $70 and phone cases for $50.
As the park is go at your own pace we started with the zip lines, they were amazing, absolutely breath taking. My partner and I were able to go on them together too which was so much fun to do together.
We then did the ATVs which were so much fun, the caves are magical.
We then did all of the water activities, the rafts, the swim, and the underground expedition. Absolutely incredible. The swim through the waterfall was beautiful. The only one we didn’t enjoy so much was the rafts, a lot of people in front of us didn’t know how to use them and everyone was getting held up and bumped into.
The lunch was also really good quality. You definitely work up an appetite so that was great, my partner was very happy.
Our transfer didn’t come back until 4.30 but we were done with everything at around 2ish. It’s definitely worth it and we had such a memorable day out

Thrills, Adventure, and Unforgettable Moments at Xplor!
Our day at Xplor was an absolute adrenaline rush, and our group of four had a blast navigating the various activities! From heart-pounding zip lines to off-road amphibious vehicle rides, the park delivered on its promise of excitement.
While paddle rafting proved challenging for me, the other activities more than made up for it. A tip for future visitors: invest in the photo package at the entrance – it's a worry-free way to capture all your action-packed moments. It would be even better if they included the videos in the package rather than selling them as part of a higher tier.
The lunch buffet was a delightful surprise – the food was amazing, and the staff across the park were not only wonderful but also incredibly helpful. We felt safe on every ride, adding to the overall positive experience.
For future adventurers, I recommend starting your day with the exhilarating zip lines in the morning. Tackle all the circuits before moving on to the off-road amphibious vehicles. Opt for an early lunch, preferably before noon, to beat the crowds. Then, spend the remainder of the day enjoying the fantastic water activities.
Xplor can be visit in one day for thrill-seekers, and with a bit of strategic planning, you're in for an unforgettable day of adventure!

It's worth the money. I recommend getting there early to be able to enjoy all the park has to offer.
The food was great.
The ziplines are really fun, I didn't think the were high adrenaline. More like very enjoyable.
My favorite activity I think was the Underground Exploration. It combines different activities like walking swimming in the river, hike, obstacles, the slide was super fun.
I recommed this park 100% next time I will do Xplor fuego.
Xcaret Park is an amusement park located in the city of Playa del Carmen, just a few miles from Cancun. It offers attractions such as swimming and cave exploration, as well as a wide variety of animals to see.
Absolutely outstanding experience. From the original booking to the hotel pickup, to orientation, upgrade of our tickets, scheduling the many activities and getting through the day, everything was flawless, well organized. The park was very clean. Food at the buffet was outstanding. All staff was very accommodating and helpful. Attractions were easy to find, you luggage was hauled for you while you were swimming across the park. Even non-swimmer did perfectly well. Life vests, water shoes, snorkels, waterproof camera holders, everything was available on site. The animal encounters were adorable. The end-of-the night show was spectacular, 2 hours long and educational. The 7-course gourmet meal was a feast for the senses. I can't say enough. This is a must-have experience.

This park is definitely one of the best - it is so large it can be overwhelming but I'd still encourage anyone to take their time, just maybe make a plan. There is a ton to see and a heavy emphasis on Mayan culture and flora/fauna. Some of the exhibit areas were really well done - the aviary reminded me totally of Jurassic Park.
Nice expansive gift shop at the end - great for a leisurely browse if you like that sort of thing.
Warning once inside the prices are HIGH.. we got a fruit drink type thing and it ended up being about $14 CAD.
Would come back if I was in the area - tons to do and lots of nice places to chill out and relax, or go on more adventurous things if you want.
One star off as I just can't get behind the dolphin enclosure areas.. just seems cruel and they swim around looking quite depressed until it is time to work. Not my favorite thing to see.
TIPS:
Wear comfy shoes
Bring sunscreen
Bring a change of clothes
They have lockers for swimming activities
Bring a water bottle (or a few)

A bit disappointing. The park looks pretty and is well maintained, but it's a bit boring and mediocre at best.
Basically it's like a zoo where you can swim and pay for some extra activities. The information (both on the website and on the park) is limited and incomplete. The staff is not very helpful. At the river entrance the staff member told us all 3 routes are the same, but that doesn't seem to be true.
There are some animals, but not enough to make it an interesting zoo.
There are some performances, but you have to be lucky find one at the right time.
There are some other sights, but nothing that impressed us much.
The food was good. No complaints about that!
Overall it feels overpriced and you will still have to pay extra for pretty much everything. We've been to much better theme parks and zoos.
Tip if you go: taxis are cheaper and faster than the official bus.

Absolutely a beautiful and joyful experience. There is no way to do everything in one day. We had the Plus ticket which included lockers, buffet choice from one of several restaurants and other plus access and activities. We got lucky with the perfect weather and a time when it wasn't overly busy. There is a huge parking area and parking is included. Everything is clearly marked and clean. When you present or get your new tickets the way into the park is clear and there are many employees ready to help you along the way with any questions. There are several colored paths you can choose to follow on the sidewalks as well as marked "road" signs. Stop and look at the large map posted to orient yourself and look at all the things you can see and do. There are several small shows, sites, displays, interactions to choose from. It's not possible to do everything in one day. You can also pay for add-on activities or purchase an upgraded ticket that includes added activities. We didn't and we still had time only to see maybe 1/3rd of this beautiful place. If you're interested, read about how this place got developed. It's fascinating. My advice is that you pick the paths and activities you want to accomplish roughly with leeway to stop here and there along the way when something catches your eye. One thing - always carry water. The place is huge and it's hot and you need to hydrate. You can buy bottled water and refill it at several marked stations throughout the park. I am posting some photos but honesty they hardly do this place justice. Yes, it's pricey but for the cleanliness, quality, safety, variety and beauty of this place we found it highly worth it and plan on returning.

What an amazing experience from them picking us up at our resort, to explaining the park on our way there. It was crazy busy the day we went but we still had so much fun. The underground river swim was spectacular and there are attractions along the route. There are animal exhibits which were cool. Our package included the lunch buffet which was better than some of the restaurants we went to in Playa. It was a great experience and would do it again.

Stunning resort with plenty to do, although additional activities comes with an additional price tag. Paid extra to swim with the dolphins and do sea trek. Long day with lots of walking, good food selections available, show at the end (7-9pm) felt extremely long after being there for 12 hours, however entertaining and worth seeing. Transportation included, picked us up from the hotel and straight back no issues. Staff are kind and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you can keep up with all the walking!

I can't say enough about this place. There is so much to see and do for all ages. There is a lot of walking so I would suggest comfortable shoes and if you intend to do the water activities I would bring water shoes because the reefs are very sharp. They let you bring in your own food and drinks as well as your own snorkeling equipment. I would suggest doing this if you are on a budget because the food drinks and Equipment can get quite expensive. Another thing I would suggest is to make sure you take a lot of your own pictures. A waterproof camera would be a great idea. The picture packages are also quite expensive.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The show at the end is worth watching. You will NEVER regret visiting here!!
It is a big park so if you Plan on visiting make sure you wear comfortable shoes. If you need a stroller for your little ones, they have areas to rent strollers for the day.
This is and ALL DAY activity from 7ish AM until 9PM.
There are two time slots for when ever you want to leave is you arrive via bus transportation it sit around 4PM and 9PM.
Comment questions if you have any, I’ll gladly answer them!!

Visited this park on the last day of our vacation. This would be perfect for those folks with kids. It’s built mainly around 3 rivers that run through the park. If you are not planning to enter the river, then you might feel that the entrance fee is too expensive as the land activities are not that great. There’s an aviary and a butterfly pavilion which were nice. There was a horse show which was nice. The espectacular night show was amazing and beautiful performances by all the artists. Would definitely recommend staying for this show. Overall, the entrance fee seemed pricey for what the park offers.

Definitely a must see and an absolutely great experience! The underground river is a fun way to explore and travel, as there's checkpoints where you can stop if you want to leave early.
It's a very big location, so definitely a lot of walking but it has different areas which are themed and offer different things to see.
One of the best highlights and something you shouldn't miss is the show at the end, as they tell a great story about their past history and how their culture has evolved to what it is today.

Wonderfully fun! Get the photo package it is worth it!
So many fun activities to do, unfortunately not enough time to do them all. Looking forward to another visit in the future. We went early to avoid the wait, but there was a huge line behind us by the time we had our activities booked.
Go as early as possible and book your activities right away before they fill up!

This place was amazing. There is the underground river which is probably an hour? I don't know if went by really fast. Tons of beautiful sites to see, birds, ruins, monkeys. We had a blast on a day pass. I want to stay there sometime for several days just to get to really enjoy it.

What a fun experience! We chose to do two extra cost activities and swam with stingrays and nurse sharks. Awesome activities which allowed some hands-on time with the animals. Make sure you are changed into your swim wear before you show up for your appointed time.
The aviary was incredible and filled with tons of birds.
Side note, many employees spoke fluent English, which was incredibly helpful for us.
Bring a waterproof phone case for your phone, cash, I.D. and receipts - they do sell them at the park. Bring coral safe sunscreen.

The night show is a must... it was really spectacular.
The day activities are fun as well, especially seeing some special animals and fishes. The inclusive lunch is tasty. You will need more time to go through all activities available.
However as a nature person, i would prefer just to see the night show and spend the day in the ocean instead of in a water park.
If you have kids and teens, this place is perfect to spend entire day.

Loved this park and cannot wait to go back! It was adventure, culture and sooooo much to do. I definitely needed to stay for a few days but I went as part of a cruise excursions and it just wasn't enough time. My guide Javier was AMAZING! He's so kind and helpful. I love their idea for a picture package, but I wish that I would know where they would be so I can prep. Lots of my pictures were no good but still a phenomenal experience. Already planning a trip in the next few years to stay longer.

Loved this place! Really wasn’t sure what to expect before going but it’s a really huge theme park that you can easily get lost in. It’s massive. We spent all day there and I feel like we only scratched the surface of what there is to see and do. Make sure if you go, you make it a whole day and stick around for the big show at night. It was incredible. Little bit of music and dance from every region in Mexico with a lot of history. Going way back to Mayan times. I’d go again in a heartbeat and I’d also like to check out some of their other parks.

As an American tourist, I wasn't sure how my visit here would go but it seemed like everyone spoke Spanish and English fluently and were exceptionally helpful when trying to find the next best activity.
I've never been anywhere like Xcaret and WOW they definitely deserve all the high praise they get. My husband and I really appreciated how easy everything was. Maps are plentiful along the paths, the paths are physically marked as the color they are on the map, and there are so many unique things to do here! Highly recommend the SeaTrek, also the dolphin experience if that's your kind of thing. FYI the photos from the Dolphin Experience are more expensive then I thought they would be, but we still splurged on it.
Speaking of photos, the photo pass for the park is 100% worth it. They really streamlined the process of taking magical photos and it's really not THAT expensive for how many great shots you can get with just a scan of the wristband.
Highly recommend this place and will hopefully be back to explore more of the park! If you can, try to get more then one day here, there are just way too many things to see and experience!
PS: make sure you have a waterproof phone case, your swimsuit, and at least one change of clothes. Most activities involve getting wet or honestly it's just real humid so being able to change helps considerably.

Very clean and beautiful natural environment. The part where the birds are is very beautifully designed. Be sure to try the part where you can wear a mask and see the fish underwater. But if there were more colored fish, it would be more attractive.

For kids and adults, this place is absolutely amazing. Very well laid out, the kids' park is extremely safe & fun. Made me wist adults were allowed to use it.
The buffet was awesome, and animals are super cool to see. The butterfly sanctuary is beautiful as well. All around, I highly recommend the as your go-to place if you have never been.

Simply amazing!!!
This is such a beautiful place to visit. The unground river you can float in, I loved seeing the butterflies, the sea turtles and dolphins The buffet. I highly recommend visiting here if you are in the area. I also would recommend getting the plus pass. It will include the buffet.

One of the best attractions I’ve ever been to (and I’ve traveled extensively around the world). The best way I can describe is: if Dubai + Disneyland had the perfect child: organized, clean, entertaining for the whole family, and most importantly, with its own personality. You can easily spend the whole day there from opening to closing. The food was great (vegan tacos were surprisingly delicious) and there are (free) drinking water fountains everywhere🙏 Lots of clean bathrooms too!
The night show is top notch, simply a must! The park is accessible to wheelchair users and disabilities such as hearing. I do have ethical issues with the activities involving swimming with dolphins and sharks but those are optional.
Medical attention is quick and effective (my 75 year old father got low blood pressure and he has very pleased with the assistance).

Heard so much about this place and it is INCREDIBLY AMAZING!!! Our tour guide was so organized and we got in and just had an amazing time from the moment we laid our eyes on this gorgeous place. We had the buffet and it was so good, I tried a little bit of everything and just wish i could have eaten more! The swim in the cave was incredible, albeit my anxiety was a little high swimming with 2 little ones, but there are guides along the way and lifeguards throughout the way. The scenery was beautiful but the most amazing part was the show at the end and the delicious food we were served during the presentation. I would love to come back here because we didn't even see half the grounds even though we spent all day here. Definitely recommend!! We had a 1 year old, 3 year old and 15 year old who all had a great, great time!

I would definitely recommend if you come with kids and with a full tank of energy. This park is a 12+ hour day of activities.
There is lots to do and to discover but also keep in mind that you will have to buy lunch and dinner, so keep lots of extra money for the day.
Also, a lot or should I say most of the fun activities like in water walking and snorkeling are extra.
So visiting this park will definitely keep you entertained but can also leave a hole in your pockets.

It was a very refreshing experience! A well maintained wildlife park. No funny smells (which is understandable if there was), fun exhibits, cute photo ops and cool activities to do! The final show was absolutely stunning!
The lazy river however dint have tubes so it felt like a little bit of a work out. I would avoid if you don’t know how to swim because the support rope is discontinued in some areas. Im 5’3 and I couldn’t stand at any point. It does take all day to check out everything, so I suggest reaching the park early like around 9-10 AM.
It definitely is a must visit! I highly recommend it! It can be a cute date idea and also a fun big group trip!

Very good theme park to visit, around 30 minutes away from Bahia Principe area. Getting in is very easy if you come early, around 5 minutes before it actually opens. The whole experience was very exotic and beautiful. Recommend the underground river first thing. Pretty dark at some times, and many of them to choose from, including one with ropes to swing from in the dark areas. Maps are easy to understand after that, with the whole park split into sections. Buffets are all around the place, in case you need a quick bite. Extra activities are about as expensive as Xel-Ha’s other activities, like the swimming with sharks. Mayan city exhibit features different natural and Mayan wonders. Truly a good place to end the day off. Beaches are nice, and snorkeling is very interesting, only it’s pretty popular, so you won’t see much fish in the crowded areas. Price is a bit expensive but acceptable, so just a nice place to go to on a day off.

Brought my twin 13yo kids for their first time on 3/14/24 and they had the best time! We arrived at 11am and regret not arriving earlier because there’s so much to do. I’d recommend that you do all the water activities first, enjoy the free buffet then walk around and explore. There’s a huge lazy river with multiple entrances so you can take different routes to the exit. It’s quite a long swim so be prepared. There’s also a zoo, aquarium, ruins and much more sight seeing to do.
You can buy tickets in advance for a small discount off, but the best deal you’ll get is at the airport. You’ll have to attend a sales meeting at Xcaret hotel but their team is kind and you get a free buffet. I ended up buying the membership and would advise that if you’re going to buy then don’t take the first deal they offer you lol.

A great experience for the whole family. Float in the senotes, swim in the ocean, visit all the tropical birds, catch the best show at night, and splurge on dolphin experience.
Bring some cash and a waterproof phone case for sure. Arrive early. We paid for the photo pass which made the experience more fun for sure!
The busy and lively 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen is a popular spot for shopping, dining and nightlife. The street is lined with shops and restaurants, making it a great place to spend a day or evening.
Safe and fun to be with the family

Don't go there! Every place charges 3 times the average price of anything. You will be extorted of your money. Very touristy. Way too gringo. This area sucks.

Beautiful shopping area with tons of shops and restaurants. If you see the guys dressed up in costumes, they are scam artists. Got $20 using slight of hand so one picture was $30 USD. Shame on me

La Quinta Avenida or the 5th Avenue is probably the most famous street in Playa del Carmen. No cars are allowed to drive through, making it a perfect spot to walk along this street. That's the best part of it - you don't need to bother much about the rest.
It's a street just made for mass tourism. The 5th Avenue is packed with tourists which is not bad in general. The most annoying part is that you can't walk 3 steps without getting people talk to you, trying to lure you into their restaurants, shops or trying to sell you their service. Honestly, it is impossible to just enjoy the walk and have a conversation. Those people are so persistent that they try anything to slow you down and get you into a conversation. And if you just ignore them, they become very rude, insulting you in Spanish - or sometimes even in English. Totally annoying!
So at 5th Avenue you can't enjoy a walk, neither can you enjoy restaurants. The prices in those restaurants are extremely high, but the quality is ridiculously low. Some restaurants try to scam you by adding random items on your check, others just add a self-given tip. So be careful, when eating out and be prepared that quality wise you might get dissapointed.
Quinta Avenida is a must do in Playa del Carmen. But it is important to understand that this street is just made for mass tourism and probably does not represent the Mexican culture nor way of life. Be aware that you are going to spend a lot of money there. Everything from souvenirs to food is more expensive than any other place at Playa del Carmen.

I mostly did not love this street.
It is fun to people watch here and there is a lively vibe.
That being said, there is lots of hard selling here and being nudged by all the local shops to come in. There is also very expensive and not so local shops on this place.
Great place to catch a glimpse for a few minutes but can skip this too.

Every imaginable restaurant and shop. All the little street offshoots also have restaurants, night clubs and restaurants. Busy but Covid protections being implemented. The US has something to learn from this

This place is a 100% tourist destination but unfortunately in the recent months there’s been an increase in military presence and it’s scary to know that unfortunately cartels are running their unwanted trade in this part of Mexico. Not good

Personally I love the street it’s July 2022 you can find everything from like the shopping mall which has public restrooms that are clean, souvenir stores, fun little activities walking distance to the beach. And it’s pretty clean and full of tourist so I felt safe. NEGOTIATE all your souvenirs though definitely try overcharging for example my friend got her hair braided and one was charging 400 pesos and the other was charging $450 pesos. My other friend also wanted to get a baby suit and the first lady had quoted her 450 pesos and I thought that was too much and then the last dude quoted her 800 pesos we ended up getting it for 350 pesos. There was just one dude walking around saying weed while coughing so I think that’s probably where people get drugs as well.

Great street! Be aware:
If you are partaking in an all inclusive resort and you are identified by a wristband your " waiter" whose face you won't remember and your genuine desire to be respectful will be preyed upon. Your waiter who you just reconnected with will want to share with you his grandfather's jewelery shop that just had its grand opening. Crazy coincidences happen in 5 Av.a q
