The Voyenno-Istoricheskiy Muzey Tikhookeanskogo Flota is a vast museum showcasing an impressive collection of naval artifacts, coupled with open-air displays of historic ships and guns. The museum offers a realistic overview of defense hardware, highlighting the vessels and weapons used in naval warfares. Some exhibits even showcase holes made in metal by past attacks during wars.
The museum of Russian Pacific naval history. Overall three floors of several expositions devoted to different periods of naval history. There is a guided excursion twice a day, not sure whether English language is supported though. Anyways, it's definitely worth visiting especially taking into account the price of entry ticket - it's just 100 RUB.

It's a great open air museum arranged by city of Vladivostok showing naval vessel and defense system a giving overview of such defense hardware.
It's so real and 2-3 guns even move.
One can easily observe the holes made in metal of guns by attacking on it during war. Great opportunity to checkout these cool naval defense and attack guns and small submarine and a vessel with display of torpedoes and missiles also.
Totally recommended and a must watch place in the city.

The Triumphal Arch for Tsar Nicholas II is a beautiful historical gate located in the city center. It is a popular spot for pictures and can be easily passed by if you are not interested in it. Additionally, nearby are several other interesting places to visit, such as the fortress museum, church, and submarine.
Nice historical Arch in Central Park near seaside walk. Eventhou it is old but kept very well. Nearby few other interesting places to visit and also war memorial, church, submarine and much more.

These gates are located in the city center. I passed by casually and I liked immediately this construction. Full of trees all around make even a better impression. The arch is really well constructed. I really recommend this place for a visit.
Marco Pettini — Google review
The arch was built in honor of the visit to our city in honor of the Prince Nicolas the heir to the royal throne - when he visited Vladivostok in 1981. To expand his horizons, Nikolai Alexandrovich made a world trip at that time and the sea stage of the Tsarevich’s journey just ended in Vladivostok. Local authorities, learning about this, decided in honor of the arrival of the distinguished guest to build the Arc de Triomphe, which should further emphasize the solemnity of the event. Given the fact that the prince arrived in Vladivostok by sea, the place for future construction was chosen with all scrupulousness and thoroughness - it was decided to build the Triumphal Gate on Admiral's Marina. The choice was largely influenced by the fact that not far from the chosen place is the coast of the famous Golden Horn Bay. It was here that the founders of our city once landed, and it was from here that Vladivostok subsequently began.
The heir to the royal throne during his visit laid not only a monument to Admiral Nevelsky, a dry dock for repairing ships, but also a new railway with a stone station - all these structures were preserved in good condition, and sow the day. According to historians, the visit of the crown prince contributed to the rapid development of the city. The arch itself consists of four, separately standing, stone foundations with gray-yellow walls erected on them, decorated in turn with ancient Russian multi-colored ornaments. The building is completed by a light blue roof with blue ridges, resembling an octagonal high pyramid with its outlines, on the tip of which a double-headed gilded eagle rises.
To reach Eagle's Nest Hill from the city center, take Svetlanskaya Street and walk for about 300-400 meters beyond Golden Bridge until you spot a red bricked complex on your left. Ascend the steps beside the complex to arrive at the lower Funicular station opposite Engineering School. Climb up stairs adjacent to Funicular tracks until you hit the upper Funicular station. Across the road lies Eagle's Nest Hill, visible from this point.
A beautiful place with an amazing view of the bridge and an amazing place to hangout with friends

To get there from the city centre, walk along Svetlanskaya Street. After passing under Golden Bridge, continue to walk about 300- 400ms until you see a red bricked complex on your left, take the steps beside the red bricked complex as picture, till you see the bottom Funicular station as picture, which is opposite the Engineering School. Walk up stairs beside the Funicular tracks till you reach the upper Funicular station. You will see the Eagle's Nest hill just on the other side of the road. Take the underground pedestrian crossing to cross the road and follow the steps to go uphill. You are there!

Just make sure you get the during visiting hours since everything behind the gate. The dolphin show worth every penny. We got there before gates open and it get a little crazy at the cashiers because of the show but just 30 minutes after it was normal, or may be we got lucky :) it is a must see place, take some time to walk around not just inside. If you come to Vladivostok and you don't pass here you were not in Vladivostok. Together with (and very close to) the Vladivostok station this is one of the most iconic sites in the city. Also take your time and visit the marine bay between the monument and the station 😉!
