Ladies Beach, previously restricted to only women during the Ottoman era, is now open to all genders. The sandy stretch boasts of spacious rooms and a property right on the sea. Visitors can enjoy delicious food at various restaurants within walking distance from the beach including Plaj restaurant and Sherwoods. The stunning sunset every evening adds charm to this beautiful location making it a popular spot for relaxation and rest among visitors.
Its a beautiful beach. I stayed near the beach so enjoyed it during times that it wasnt very busy. I love the blue color of the Mediterranean and how the shades change. And the ladies beach was a great place to experience that.

I stayed at The Ladies Beach Residence. I've been there once before but in a January. So this time was totally different, a lot busier but also relaxing. I love the spacious rooms and the property is right on the sea. My holiday was nothing short of perfect. I went for relaxation and rest and that's what I got. My friend accompanied me and we enjoyed breakfasts & dinners at all the different restaurants in walking distance. The sunset every evening was a dream. Absolutely gorgeous. The food at all the restaurants were delicious. I would recommend Plaj restaurant and Sherwoods. Those were definitely two of my favourites and the staff are extremely accommodating and friendly.
I honestly cannot wait to go back. 💯💥

Once upon a time this was a place where only ladies were allowed for sea bath, as men were not allowed. Since times and generations have changed, men & women can also enjoy the sea beach together here. But the name remains. As such the beach is flat, sand is soft to touch and quite clean. There are lots of cafeteria, restaurants and stone’s throw away from the beach. Over all it’s a nice place for warm days In Kusadasi. The view is quite serene. We love this place very much.
Atis Basak — Google review
Probably because it is out of season, some parts of the beach were dirty, full of rubbish and broken wall cladding. However, the stunning sea view more than made up for this.

Public beach, free entrance. Surrounded by bar and restaurant. Worth for a quick sun bath and a quick swim. Clean and blue waters.

Ladies beach used to be really nice. Nowadays it's way too crowded and dirty. People drop there litter and cigarette buts all over the sand. The sea is polluted with all sorts. A real shame as it used to be such a beautiful place to go. İt's still nice to have a stroll down the seafront to watch the sunset

first time coming to Turkey and spent my holiday eating and drinking at ladies beach restaurant. I had the greatest laugh ever with all the staff. Lovely food and drink and great entertainment with a lovely view. Staff go above and beyond highly recommend!

Very busy from early morning till the sun went down. A few free sections along the beach elsewhere you have to pay for a sun bed and umbrella. Lovely restaurants along the front with good menus and very friendly service.

The most beautiful beach in Kuşadası, also you can sit in restaurants and coffee's besides beach with amazing view of sea
Farzaneh Dehghani — Google review
Immediately approached to sit by some sun loungers for 300lr per person (security, wifi, toilets and changing room.
Informed that the rest I'd the beach was "unsafe"
Walked further down and offered x3 sun loungers and 2 umbrellas for 250lr.
The sea was clean, but there were more cigarette butt's than sand in some places.
Stupidly over crowded (Thursday).
Thought the guy was lying about safety further along the beach, but no less than 30meters away the local Police were having a "vigorous" discussion with someone with their boot!
Avoid if you can. Go North towards Adaland up to either Pygela Plaji or Plaj Mustafa beaches which are clean and less crowded.

Generally too crowded, I wouldn’t recommend if you just want to go for a peaceful swim. But the atmosphere is nice to have some drinks and chill with your friends. Depends on what you want but it’s a nice place to spend time.

The beach is nice, close to Kuşadası centre. The umbrella and sun-bed is reasonable price (150.00TRY - September 2023), there are many places to have breakfast/lunch/dinner/coffee as well as small markets which you can pay by card. The only negative thing for this beach is that needs quite cleaning.
Batuhan Chavush — Google review
Top quality sandy beach with lots of space to sit down. Tons of restaurants nearby if you are hungry or want to grab a beer. The waves are really amazing at this beach. Pretty fun almost like an indoor wave park. Sitting in the waves for hours gave me time to contemplate my gambling losses. As the waves move up and down so do my winnings. Only if one could gamble in the water, salty waves to hide my salty tears. No more! The profits will start to roll in.

Very nice. The local authorities have a sand sifter running around, because everyone in Turkey smokes and there are cigarette butts everywhere.
But the water is nice and clean, there are shark nets to protect the beach.

Beautiful views and sunset but could be so much better if the beach was cleaner, tab ends in the sand etc such a shame.

it's crowded and the water is not the cleanest and a lot of waves.
you can rent an umbrella or enjoy the sun bath for free.
plenty of cafe's and restaurants.
Street parking is easy in side streets.
Kusadasi Castle, a historic fortress located in Kusadasi, Turkey, stands tall as a testament to ancient architecture and grandeur. This castle was built during the Byzantine era and has undergone multiple renovations throughout history. The citadel is perched on top of Pigeon Island which offers panoramic views of the Aegean Sea from its ramparts. Visitors can witness the impressive collection of artifacts displayed within its walls that offer valuable insights into the region's rich cultural heritage.
Amazing place to take some good pictures with nice landscape. Views are amazing, nice walk and peaceful. Really recommend you to visit and it is for free.

The castle itself was closed therefore we were able to only walk around the caste. The territory is nice and well taken care of. The views are nice but without entry to the castle (by the way, the castle is small) it was just a nice small park for a walk. Wouldn’t say it’s a must see, rather nice to see if you have spare time.

Interesting point of interest, mainly to hop on a boat trip for the day. However, boat tours aren't so interesting, as they stop at several beaches that are all similar, and don't provide any entertainment equipment such as snorkeling, SUP or kayak. Also food onboard isn't great.
Kusadasi Long Beach is an extensive shoreline that boasts numerous hotels, restaurants, and recreational amenities. It is complete with a footpath and bicycle trail, making it ideal for walking or cycling while taking in the beautiful scenery. The beach offers abundant opportunities for water sports as well as leisurely strolls along the shore to enjoy the serene sunset views.
If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, long beach is a great option to spend time at. However, keep in mind that during the high season , there are more people visiting over here. There are nice cafes and restaurants to visit and it’s a great option to take a walk around. It’s mostly visited by the residents of the house complexes but I recommend it to anyone that enjoys spending time at the beach.

We really loved this beach.
-Great sand for children to play
-water is clear
-no stones
-good sea bottom
*Because of the waves there was A LITTLE seaweed, but that was not a problem ( we went on 09.09.2022, May be that is typical for this time of the year)
We parked the car for free on the road at the beginning of the beach and went pass some hotel beaches which were pretty crowded and found the empty one. We paid 100TL for two places but it is worth it. The stuff really takes care of the beach, it is clean and they even clean your sun beds from the sand.
You can identify this particular area with stripped umbrellas, they don’t look good but I highly recommend exactly this part of the beach

In addition to the water attractions, visitors can also enjoy swimming with dolphins and participate in fun activities led by animators such as taking pictures with parrots. The park boasts over 30 unique water slides that cater to different preferences for excitement. Although it may be closed out of season, guests can still catch the fascinating dolphin show.

Really clean water park. Lots of water slides, water rides and pools. It didn’t feel busy and there were not long waits for rides. However, if going on the long Amazon ride, do that one first as it is popular and there will be longer waiting time for that as the day goes on. No cash or card is used for restaurant, you get an aqua land card and add money to that. Lots of sun-beds and you can easily get ones in the shade when you need a break. Lockers available for belongings - but keep your sandals/flip flops with you as the floor gets super hot. Would recommend a visit with family. Wished it would have closed a little later than 5pm.

Really life time enjoyment, adults also can enjoy like kids.. very safe, clean, many slide activities, swimming pools, bit expensive and far from city center.. but city buses (bus no.1) are available very frequently.. Foods are available in reasonable price. Many beach chairs.. if you are a water game lover, don't miss it..
Lockers are available for the belongings, sufficient change rooms...
I feel 10 am to 5 pm timing is short. 9 am to 7 pm during summer would be perfect.

Everyone is friendly, and happy to help with your query. Cash or debit card isn't accepted, you must load money onto a prepaid adaland card, and they refund any surplus. But, they miscalculated (in their favour of course) the refund as we were leaving.

A great place for summer family fun.
This was first time for us, and we were glad we did this.
The water complex consist of multiple pools for different ages, water slides and other water related attractions. Not all were open though. Just a few pointers that might help you with this endeavour:
- car parking is free
- There is no WiFi
- You need to purchase a rechargeable card for your shopping inside the complex. If you recharge with cash you can be reimbursed with the remainder of the balance, if you recharge by card, there is no refund available ☹️
- After noontime the floor tiles get really hot and it is a good idea to have your flip-flops with you between pools and slides
- The dolphin park is separate and comes at extra cost for show and swimming with the dolphins
We would like to come back should the opportunity arises

Plenty of pools with slides and rides for all ages. Not overly crowded either. Kids really enjoyed it.

It's better to buy the ticket online: cheaper ( 50 tl less) and no queue. And come on the weekdays.
In this aquapark it was quite crowded but there's enough space for everyone. It's a great place for families with kids ( 3 vast spaces with slides), shezlongs in the shade, restaurant.
There are great slides for adults a well.
Well, you can bring water and crackers or snacks with you (aspecially if you have kids). They didn't check the bags at the entrance.

It is one of the best parks I have ever seen. I have also been to Legend in Antalya. But I prefer Adaland. Because even though it has a variety of items, it is not very crowded and very large, and you have time to visit all the items.

A Brillant day out for adults and kids. Not to busy at all for a Wednesday. The que for the main slide was ridiculous, but it was well worth the wait when we reached the bottom. We can not wait to return again next year 🙌

In general it’s ok, but there are some disadvantages. 1) rafting, ocean pool and some other water slides were closed. 2) Slide for the surfing closed 1 hour before it should be closed (at 16:00) 3) on the white slide where you fly really high me and my boyfriend got bruises. It was really painful, so I recommend the staff to explain how to tuck and roll better when you fly. I saw that other people also were not satisfied and felt a lot of pain after it.
Advantages: 1) a lot of good pools 2) there are slides for adults and for children 3) there was a diving board
Tortuga Pirate Island Theme & Water Park is an outdoor water park that has a pirate theme. It offers various slides, pools and a kids' area for families to enjoy. The park also includes a restaurant where fast food options such as pizza and burgers can be purchased. Visitors have daily access to the park while staying at the hotel/holiday club. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean surroundings and friendly attendants who ensure safety measures are being followed.
We had daily access as we were staying at the hotel/holiday club. We used the aqua park a few times during our stay and were very impressed. Good variety of slides, clean and the life guards and attendants were friendly and thorough. It felt safe while not restricted. Sometimes was busy and hard to find a couple of sun beds but if you're not fussy about being poolside it's no issue. Children both loved it. Would definitely recommend.

Took my three nephews there on Monday 29th May 2023. The place was very well managed. Very clean and there is a variety of pools with different slides to suit all ages. (At least 7 or 8 pools). My nephews loved it. There were plenty of lifeguards dotted around who were happy to help, and I felt safe knowing they were there in case the children had any difficulties. They even provided one of my nephews with a life jacket to use until he felt comfortable without it. My 11 year old nephew wanted to try the fastest slide with a deeper pool, and the lifeguards were on standby communicating via walkie-talkie to let each other know that he was on his way and to look out for him. Very professional.
Entry cost for the full day for myself and a 14 year old and two 11 year olds was 1600TL (about £64 at time of writing).
All in all would definitely recommend. A fun family day out.

A great day out with young kids.
This was a second visit. (First last year) we we were 3 adults and 3 children (4/9/11) they all had a fun day out. Food is a little pricey but totally in keeping with entertainment places nowadays.
There's a pool for very small children which is sheltered from the sun which sadly makes it a little to cold this time of year (June) the pirate pool was much loved by the kids and also the large swimming pool.
There are plenty of staff and duty and all seem very aware of all going around them.
It's very reasonable compared to what we paid for the larger popular park but granted we didn't go with older kids or adults who wanted to use the slides so im not sure how it compares entertainment wise.
Christa Eker — Google review
Not much of a water park at all. 6 slides in all and a kids play area. Oh and the so called lazy river was the lamest thing I have ever seen!!! Upkeep is awful - all of us ended with with an ear infection as the water was contaminated. It’s basically part of a hotel with 3-4 pools and mini water park for the guests. If you are staying at the hotel then it’s a no brainer but to pay and go to this water park is a waste of time and money!
N B — Google review
Nice water park with few interesting slides and nearby parking. However staff is exaggerating with forbidding activities. For smaller kids (in our case 7 year old child) it is forbidden to go on bigger slides (even though it is written on board that kids are alowed on slides under supervision of adult) and adults are not allowed to go on smaller slides and it is impossible to have fun with your own kids. I was also forbiden to go on slides with plastic sport watch. Practically whole staff does not speak english and it is very difficult to communicate. You need to fill up entrace card in advance with money to buy food and drinks in restaurant (without knowing any prices :)) and for the end park closes at 17:30.

Excellent aqua park especially for young children very clean also you can eat fast food like pizza and burger abut 50 TL.

We love Tortuga, it’s a holiday staple for our family of three. There’s ample space and even at it’s busiest, I never felt it was particularly overcrowded. It has many different pools and slides for different abilities and ages - our seven year old can use both kids and adults slides, so, the park does the job for us without needing to travel all the way to the other side of Kusadasi to the larger water parks . The only thing I’d improve upon is the selection and quality of food - burgers are a little too dry, and pizzas lack flavour - for a day long stay, purchasing food is unavoidable and makes me think twice despite the greatness of everything else!

Fantastic water park with lots to offer for both kids and adults of all ages. You are able to purchase Food & Drink from the Cabana near the main tower using a Tortuga Card rather than Cash which is a lot easier. The assault course is fantastic however is only usually avaliable to children with adult sessions every 3 hours

We liked it so much, we went back for a second day. Plenty of safety staff, clean, good facilities.
Good reasonably priced. Security lockup for valuables. Loads of water slides, for all ages.
If your in Kusudasi, you need a day here, seriously. The best water park we have been to.
Anyone giving this park a low rating is either from a park in competition, or not right in the head.
Great fun!!!
Setur Kusadasi Marina is a charming location with stunning views of Pidgeon Island, the coast and city. It offers ample opportunities for pleasant walks and picturesque photography. The marina boasts friendly staff and a safe environment, in addition to impressive architecture. Basic amenities such as supermarkets and pubs are easily accessible for convenience, making it an ideal destination for yachtsmen. The House of Virgin Mary is a shrine located at a pilgrimage site believed to be the former residence of Virgin Mary following the death of Jesus. The chapel at this sacred place is considered to be an important religious destination for many believers. It is widely believed that this holy site holds great significance and importance in the Christian faith, attracting visitors from all over the world who come here seeking spiritual peace and solace.
This was the most humbling experience for me. God’s own chosen Mary lived her life in the most modest of dwelling imaginable. There is a certain serenity and tranquility to this place, which calms you, de-stresses you and soothes your angst, just like it is to be in your mother’s lap. It has now been converted to a chapel. Decent dressing and silence is the only ask of this place. Entry is ticketed but the money is taken by the town authorities; the chapel seeks no contribution.

Worthwhile place if you're a genuine believer, if not, it might feel like a grand hoax (read the history of founding up the place). However, if you're around, and ready to pay the 80 liras entrance (Jan2022) fee, the visit might be nice bonus for visiting the beautiful Ephesus area. The views along the streaming road upwards are precious.

This is a quick stop that guides take you to right before visiting the ancient city of Ephesus. Particularly for Catholics it's a very sacred place, as it is thought that the virgin Mary spent her last days in this house. No photos are allowed inside of the house. After walking through the house and paying respects, you can light up candles for prayers. There are also 3 fountains in a brick wall beside the path - there is a local legend that if you drink from all three and make a wish Mary will help make it come true. You can tie your wish to this wall at the end. As you leave there are many souvenir shops on route for religious trinkets and ornaments.

The house was discovered in the 19th century by following the descriptions in the reported visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774–1824), a Roman Catholic nun and visionary, which were published as a book by Clemens Brentano after her death.
While the Catholic Church has never pronounced in favour or against the authenticity of the house, the site has nevertheless received a steady flow of pilgrimage since its discovery. Anne Catherine Emmerich was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 3, 2004.
Catholic pilgrims visit the house based on the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken to this stone house by Saint John and lived there for the remainder of her earthly life.
The shrine has merited several papal Apostolic Blessings and visits from several popes including Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI.

Nice place but a little hokey. Its authenticity is a little questionable, and almost the entire building is rebuilt anyway. But as part of a tour that also visits Ephesus, it's worth a brief detour.

The House of Virgin Mary in Turkey is a serene and spiritually uplifting destination that left a profound impact on me. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the stunning landscape, this sacred site exudes an aura of tranquility and reverence.
Visiting the House of Virgin Mary felt like stepping into a place of deep spiritual significance. As I entered the humble stone house, I could sense the weight of history and the devotion that has surrounded it for centuries. It is believed to be the final residence of the Virgin Mary, and the atmosphere resonates with a sense of reverence and holiness.
The interior of the house has been meticulously preserved, allowing visitors to glimpse into the life of Mary and experience a connection to her legacy. The simple furnishings and religious artifacts created an intimate and contemplative ambiance, evoking a profound sense of peace and reflection.

Entry fee is high. Most of the people park their car near the gate, but there is parking near to house. It is a beautiful location like a house inside a forest. I liked the surroundings much with sounds of birds.
Still i am thinking how virgin mary stayed there because it is on top of a hill.
The Natural Park of the Virgin Mary is a serene and wooded parkland that houses an ancient structure believed to be the last abode of the Virgin Mary. Despite its beauty and historical significance, it remains largely unknown to many people. The landscape is stunning, with friendly and knowledgeable locals who are proud of their heritage. Visitors can discover overlooked history, leave written prayers on the walls, or drink from fountains believed to promote health, wealth, and prosperity.
Well maintained & beautiful place. Make sure to keep quite while entering the house. Keep a water bottle with you.

Magnificient historical site. Better visited with a guide. It can be combined with an Ephesus Ancient City tour for the full experience. It has a cozy restaurant at the entrance for a break.

Not much to see, but it was the home of the virgin mary, plenty of nice souvenirs including ones that have been officially blessed by the church.

Place itself is intresting, but people working there especially inside of the Virgin Mary house are extremely rude ... insisting of donations, telling you that one candle is 5 lyra even though , it's written to donate according to your possibilities. They keep talking loudly , even while some of people praying there. To be honest it's not the first time I've been there. I always had a bad experience because of the workers there.

It has its appeal, but there really isn't anything else beyond the chapel that was built over the ruins of what is believed to be the last home of the Virgin Mary. As of October 2022 the cost to enter is 50 Lira per person + 25 Lira for parking.

We were blessed to be there. We met and visited with Fr. Robert, prayed the rosary in the Chapel and attended Mass. A wonderful and memorable experience for our family.
Guvercinada, also known as Pigeon Island, is a peninsula in Kusadasi connected to the mainland by a 350-meter-long man-made causeway. The island features a 13th-century Byzantine fortress and several swimming beaches, including a private beach and cafe with views of Kusadasi's harbor. Visitors can take leisurely walks along the seaside or enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
Beautiful spot, both day and night. Nice place to think quietly.
While we were here in August 2023 there was a really cool guy on a motorcycle parked here, playing really nice soothing music from his speakers every night. It added up to the atmosphere.

(Translated by Google) This is a perfectly normal pedestrian path, which goes uphill. Everyone passes by there on foot every day. The view is nice but not worth the journey. There is a parking space about 10 m away, but it is subject to a charge and costs 100 lira per 5 hours, no matter how short you park.
