This theme park is perfect for families with toddlers and children up to the age of thirteen and is packed full of attractions, shows, rides and much more. There are two indoor attractions which include a waterpark and a branded Nerf zone, as well as a range of slides and other activities outside. If youre looking for an action-packed day out with your little ones then Gulliver's World Resort is the place to go!
Amazing value, entertainment staff and perfect for small children up to teenage. We looked at the reviews and I’m unsure how they have a negative review. With the cost of the room you get free entry to park, there’s woodland walks, free entrainment on a night for children and free meal for the family. We will be back again soon. As a family ours the best place we have stayed in the U.K. highly recommend by our family. Water ride was the best for us.

We'd not visited for years as we'd found it very run down previously. It hasn't changed.
There is so much that could be improved with a cost of paint or a bit of care but this doesn't seem to have been done. If be surprised if they've done any maintenance during the closed season.
That said staff were really friendly and ride queries were short. Definitely not a full day out, but ok for a few hours.
Don't think we'll return.

We visited here on a sunny Thursday afternoon in June with our 3 year old.
We had a brilliant day, arrived around 11am, left around 3:30pm and managed to get on 15 rides, have a sit down lunch and spend some time on one of the playgrounds.
The selection of rides for a 3 year old are brilliant, and there are only 3 or 4 rides she was too small to go on. We only queued a maximum of 20 minutes for 2 rides and most others we got on straight away. The park was reasonably busy with some school trips, but not horrendously can't move busy.
We had food from the diner at the park entrance and it was fairly average and overpriced typical of most theme parks, but it's what you expect. It was okay and the portion size was decent.
At the end of the day, there were still lots of things we hadn't done and we could have easily spent a second day there doing the theatre, rides we missed, soft play and playgrounds.
Parts of Gulliver's World do look old and tired. You can see they are improving things though, for example the Gulliver's Gears area was new since we last went and that looked good.
However, I don't think the tired bits particularly bother toddlers and when you look at price it's really good value for money. It cost £42 for 3 of us. If you go to Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool or Cbeebies Land at Alton Towers you can pay that for 1 person.

Great place for a family day out. Some areas look tired, but in other areas of the park, you can see the continuous improvement.
Young families can enjoy the rides together as a number of the rides just require the children to able to sit up unaided as long as they are with an adult. Which was great as we had a young toddler with us and a 6 year old.
Plenty of picnic areas throughout the park. Those wanting hot drinks there are a number of kiosks offering hot drinks and even a Costa on site.
The fresh doughnuts are lovely, and the choices of ice creams on offer are great.
If you are a smoker, there are a few designated areas around the park for you to go also.

Had a fantastic 2 days on the park. Lots of rides mainly for kids. My little girl was 3 and got on majority of rides no prob. 90 cm tall and then lots of rides open if you ride with an adult. There is 4 or 5 bigger rides nothing flashy but caters for many ages. Plenty of food outlets and toilets dotted around. Not a massive place but good value for money would 100% go again especially with the hotel stay. Queues on the weekend were OK some longer waits some shorter depending on popularity but no more than about 45 mins.

Took 3 Grandchildren (9, 7 and 3) and had a lovely day. Very busy but most queues were reasonable. The bigger water rides were extremely busy and you need to have children who are patient in waiting!!
Very clean and all staff very friendly and helpful. Very strict on height allowance which is fair for health and safety 👍
Only 2 show times available which means you are quite restricted, especially if you find yourself on other side of park.
Be aware lots of wasps 🐝🙉
All in all, brilliant day had by all 😁

Value for money I would say. The theme park is a bit old but it’s very clean. There’s quite a lot of classic rides to play with and things to see. Don’t expect many big new rides but you won’t get bored in the park. Must try their fresh donuts which are £4.5 for six 👍

Great family theme park, ideal for kids. Park is a reasonable size to walk around without little leg’s getting too tired. Themed events throughout the year are fab. We’ve done both Christmas and New Year here and the atmosphere was brilliant. Plenty of areas to sit and eat if you’ve taken a picnic.

A really great place to take younger children. We went with a 3.5 and 4.5 year old, both tall enough for every ride we tried.
There was always something for us to do.
There is a little old age to some of the locations in the park but not enough to put you (or more importantly the children) off. We all had an amazing time.
They have really thought about the issues that arise from taking young children to theme parks.
Toilets always seem close by. There is always some kind of mini park/play area/climbing frame close to all the rides which is perfect if its busy or big waits or one child had to wait because they were too small.
The rides fit adults too which makes it such a fun day. We loved apache falls!!
There are little ducks running round which was cute.
The dinosaurs area is perfect for toddlers. My son loved it!!

Fright Fiesta was a joy, despite the pouring rain and cold conditions we had a wonderful day. It was a half term treat for my little thrill seeker and it definitely lived up to our expectations (went beyond them in fact). Daniel on the Togo Tower (02/11/23) was just lovely, he even let my son win a race between us and he along with every other member of staff deserves a 5 star review. We hardly queued at all so that made the day even more special, definitely worth a visit in the low peak times if you don't mind some rough weather. Plenty places to eat and grab a coffee. Thank you for the memories ❤️ I've not doubt we will be back!

We went for the land of lights for the first time and enjoyed it. Wasnt busy so easy to walk around and see everything. Lovely atmosphere and some fabulous look lanterns. Nice stop offs for hot drinks and food but we also took our own snacks which is good to be able to do. Only negative, wish it had last longer with even more lanterns.

Great off-season experience. Went with two 10 yr olds and a 4 yr old and was worried the older kids might be bored but enough faster rides. They even enjoyed the ball pit in soft play, which was a surprise, allowing me downtime with a hot drink ☕👍. With most queues being less than 10 mins and a ticket offer on it was exceptional value for money. You can even take your own food if you prefer, although save room for the fresh doughnuts! It is old and tired in places and a couple of rides had to close briefly for maintenance (hence 4*), but well loved, good variety and fairly clean with engaged friendly staff.

A Swashbuckling Adventure for All Ages at Gulliver's World Warrington!
From the moment we stepped through the gates, Gulliver's World Warrington transported us to a world of pure, unadulterated fun. My children (aged 6, 10, 12) were wide-eyed with wonder, and even I, a jaded adult, couldn't help but be swept away by the infectious energy.
Thrills and Chills for Every Daredevil:
The park offered a fantastic selection of rides catering to all ages and thrill levels. From the heart-pounding drops of the exciting rides to the gentler spins of the calmer rides, there was something for everyone.
Make sure you book a day with good weather and you'll certainly enjoy!!

From the mixed reviews i was dubious to what our day out would be like but the kids had a good time. It was classed as low season so I'd hate to visit when its busier because there would be meltdowns left right and centre as the ques were already long (over 1 hour we waited for one of them!) . We arrived at 10.30 and got into the park at 10.45 left at 4.45 and id say we managed to do about 60% of the rides and none of the play grounds as there was no time due to the ques so im glad we didn't pay full price (ques could of been reduced if they actually filled the ride every time and there wasn't 3 adults to one kid🙄). There are plenty of picnic areas and some of them are sheltered too incase of rain. My daughter had quite a nasty accident but couldn't find a staff member anywhere thankfully a member of the public had extra supplies to top up my own.

Nice family day out for both the adults and the kids. There's a few new rides that have been added since I was last here 5 years ago. However, on the flip side, there are areas of the park that are looking a bit run down and in need of a revamp, some rides were also out of action. Stacy who was running the log flume was absolutely brilliant in keeping it organised to a regimental fashion as it was so busy! Plenty of parking and eating and drinking facilities. Overall it was a good fun day out but just not quite the five star experience, but has the future potential to be a five star.

Great theme park visited with a 4 year old she absolutely loved it loads of children's rides and great for all ages! Apache falls was a brilliant ride and loved the boats! Best to visit throughout the weekday and wear something comfy!
Surinder Dhaliwal — Google review
Getting through the gates was relatively easy as was the parking although closing off enough space for 20+ disabled cars for 1 bus seemed pretty pointless!
The remaining disabled spaces numbered about 6.
The 1st ride, we stood in the queue for 90mins! and missed a lot of the rides due to the size of the queues.
I had a double cheese burger which eventually had onions and cheese even after the server told us he had none left but only after we asked for a refund. £6.95 which considering the establishment wasn't too bad even if the burgers were just warm and the cheese cold.
The pizza place was no different and was slightly undercooked, the poor lady working on her own was definitely under visible pressure.
Having captured for the little ones in our group we decided to check out the roller coaster which the adults were looking forward too.
Having got there we were told that it was closing due to the fireworks despite only being 6pm and the fireworks due at 20:45!?
Fireworks were better than expected which added to our day.
All in all I probably would go back but during the week when less quiet and also take my own food.

Brought our first grandchild here when he was 4 and again at 5 .... Now brought him at 9 with 2nd grandchild at 5. They both loved it!!
Very happy bunnies! A good variety of rides, enough to make them both happy. We were happy there was Costa coffee when we needed a hot drink.
Reasonable prices for food and sweets.

Went for the Land of Lights display and my boys loved it, both 10. We stayed over in one of the Wooden Cabins. Quite small and very basic, but still had a nice cosy feel to it. Check in was a nightmare! None of the staff knew where our accommodation was, just had a rough idea of the area, but still sent us off in the wrong direction in the pouring rain. We went for the breakfast, train ride and met with Santa package. The breakfast wasn't worth waiting for, so glad the boys had theirs already or they'd have gone without. Park rides were good, plenty to keep busy for a few hours. A couple of issues but all in all a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend.

Came Friday - Saturday for Santa's sleepover and land of lights.
We had an absolutely brilliant time, The hotel room was lovely and clean, The only downside was the mattress was awful and no cot mattress so needed to use a towel which wasn't ideal. The staff was very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble.
For the packages I'd of expected an itinerary and times of what was happening but didn't receive this so hard to plan with a baby.
Theme park was great, the whole Santa experience was amazing, train ride etc was brilliant.
The only problem with the theme park I'd say was it was hard to navigate around with the Christmas was land of lights parts were closed off so we ended up getting lost quite often which wasn't great in -2 degrees with a baby.
Food and drink are very expensive in the park £2 for a can of pop and £15 for a meal.
Asda around the corner so we got snacks to bring as we couldn't afford the meals there for breakfast dinner and tea for 2 days.
Definitely recommend for families with young children, looking forward to coming back in the summer.
Thank you for a great first mini family holiday and first Santa visit for my baby.

What a clean, beautiful, well maintained, very safe place.
This is so underrated. The entrance gives you the feel of Disneyland. This place has rides for toddlers to any age. Some dare devil rides to rides that anyone can enjoy. Must visit.
The staff are super nice, enthusiastic and very friendly, helpful. The rides are clean and at the entrance of each ride the staff security checks and joy in receiving every child is beautiful to watch. They do not get stressed. They maintain the same momentum till evening.
The place looked immaculate like no one has been there but the park was fully packed. No litter, no overflowing litters anywhere any time of the day. Clean toilets from 10 till 4 p.m.
Coffe Station, food court was THE cleanest ever!! The staff sanitise every table before and after use. Never seen a kitchen this clean. Disney standards was just OK.
They have everything from meet and greet, rides play areas, climbing net, games what not.
Def a must go. It almost looks like each and every staff is a family and works so amicably.
Do not miss it and you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Theme park. Best day out place for kids during holidays. Prefer to go on sunny day. Place is a tad older but still have got things in it to enjoy. Must go

The kids and us big kids absolutely love this place. The price is decent especially since they do so many offers throughout the year which as adults get in free for mothers and Father’s Day! Really appreciated. The food isn’t great but none of the theme parks are. Gullivers is more for younger children. It is not the hype like Alton towers but it is quieter and less queuing apart of the odd busy summer days. They have designated smoking areas on site as well as a large selections of cafes to buy snacks and drinks. The rides are fantastic for the little ones especially the Jurassic area. My only peeve is they sell helium balloons for something like £15! Which we bought as a treat for the kids. But they don’t even include a weight!? So the balloon can just so easily fly away….

Went for the Festival of Lights around Christmas time and the lanterns were incredible. Plenty of detail, huge designs that were very, very impressive.
Extremely busy as you can imagine. Mulled wine & cider was advertised everywhere but none alcoholic only which is a requirement when you're around so many kids to put up with the noise.
The park definitely needs a coat of paint everywhere and some maintenence. Would make things look fresh and clean. Still a good experience though

We went on an Easter holiday and my 7 and 3-year-old daughters had a blast. The event had everything from bubble shows to play areas and competitions, keeping the kids thoroughly entertained. We were pleasantly surprised to find minimal queues, allowing us to explore all the games. Trying the delicious ice cream was a highlight, and the option to rent a pram for only 10 pounds was a lifesaver, especially for our tired older daughter
Kushkestani Mina — Google review
Place is very run down. Everything looked either broken or dirty. The rides were very dated! All the attractions and decorations were so old they looked like they were barley standing the dinosaurs and cowboys were terrifying in their own right. Most had at least one appendage missing/snapped off. Everything was dirty, the water rides the water was brown and disgusting. The toilets you could smell before you even seen a sign for them.
For the price we paid to get in I would expect so much more. The range of rides is OK some for young and early teen kids. There are parks dotted around which was handy. The food on offer wasn't the best but was edible. I would advise to bring your own. There is plenty of benches and tables to use for picnics.
If your looking for an amazing day out I would avoid especially at the cost they are currently charging. I felt slightly robbed and seriously underwhelmed. There was people walking round smoking cannabis in the public areas near the rides and parks. There was members of staff walking round at the time and no one was challenged. This alone put me off ever visiting again.

The Walton Hall and Gardens are a Jacobean Revival mansion with ornamental gardens that is popular for weddings, events, and other private functions. The gardens offer plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy, including a kids' zoo and cafe.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️What a gorgeous place to visit, we took our daughter for a private alpaca walk, worth every penny and Peter is just superb, so knowledgeable. We throughly enjoyed the walk and hearing all about the history of the hall & gardens. Also a lovely little zoo, nice clean toilets and the cafe was great too. Do not hesitate to visit here, perfect for the whole family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very serene atmosphere and beautiful landscape.
The manor house is stunning and adds the rich historical feel to the grounds.
Walking through the gardens you are swept up in history and could almost imagine what it felt like living on the grounds back in the days.
A beautiful array of flowers are planted across the grounds in a spectacular display. The grounds are in excellent condition.
There is a cafe on the grounds and they serve amazing food. The staff are friendly and fast with service. I would recommend having a nice brunch with a warm coffee and freshly baked cake while visiting.
The zoo is a beautiful assortment of local animals and have a few habitats for the local red squirrels which are amazing to see.
This is a must see historic destination.

Makes for a fab half day out, suitable for couples or families with kids with the small zoo and mini golf. The gardens are also well kept and make for a pleasant, short walk. The main let down is how busy the cafe gets, so we went elsewhere for food instead of waiting.

Amazing place to visit on a nice day.
There is huge fields to sit and relax on aswell as a huge play area for the kids.
Also in the grounds there is a little farm with birds and alpaca on, a green house with a pond full of fish and other things to see.

Super busy with it being a warm, sunny half term day but great how much is on offer for the price of a car parking ticket. The kids had a great day and the grounds and garden are beautiful. We had a go on the adventure golf too (extra charge) which was good fun...no score counting when you're playing against a 4 year old though 😉 but he loved it. The playground is huge and caters for all ages and the animal zoo was fab with free entry. Lots of beautiful free roaming peacocks all around. And they're were huge fish and turtles in the pond!
Toilets were decent but bring your own toilet roll if you're there in the afternoon on a busy day...it ran out.
There were lots of picnic tables spread out all over the grounds, some in the sun and some in the shade.
Didn't try the cafe as the queue was too long

A lovely place to have a wander around and have a bite to eat!
The café was popular and had both indoor and outdoor seating. Despite being fairly busy there were still plenty of seats available.
The food was lovely and reasonably priced. The cakes looked delicious but we'll have to have a second visit to taste test because we were full after the toasted baguettes- delicious fillings, served with good quality crisps and a beautiful salad.
The kitchen garden is full of life and the produce looks fab!
There's nice, wide pathways that are easy to navigate with the pram.
There's numerous pathways around about that seem to link to local houses and shops. There's a woodland and several ponds with ducks and fish.
We'll definitely return!

This is a nice place to visit and a cafe and toilets available. Unfortunately it’s rare we get to as local residents. The opening hours are limited, at 80k+ a year in parish council costs I’d expect is to be a facility to all.

Compact area within a solid wall with a couple of ponds and benches scattered around. There's a separate kitchen type garden that includes a cafe still within the walls. Separates from the walled garden is a wooded area again fairly small in size. The whole area has a series of paths some of which lead to the modern housing estate most similar in form but of generous proportions. The whole area is pleasant to stroll round especially on a sunny day. There's a small play area opposite gate one but you have to cross the road, which is relatively quiet but seemingly the only place for many vehicles to park. Maybe spend between one to three hours there.

Went to see wake me up before you Dodo exhibition, it's was excellent. It's not bad for a small museum, although could do with updating some of the descriptions of artifacts because some have no explanation and maybe open more during the holidays. Definitely worth a visit for all of the family.

In the same building as the library, this small museum is still packed with history and a range of art. A place you must visit if Warrington is new to you.
It reveals much about the history of Warrington and its importance in history.
The exhibits are well displayed and information about many of them make the history clear. More recent artwork is mixed with the older artwork which some will like. Some of the new artwork is given very much prominence and well displayed.
One piece of recent art in particular, an upside down tree, hangs above the minerals display - a point we raised with a staff member as to whether or not there would be more symbolism if the minerals were below the roots rather than the branches. However, the context is for the artist to decide.
The historical artifacts are grouped in such a way as to make the history clear, and some of the more recent displays are nicely arranged to bring back memories for different age groups.
The staff seem to be typical of Warrington in that they are friendly and polite. A museum shop (2 cabinets) allow you to purchase some items to remember your visit.

Fantastic museum. We had visited the London museums earlier this year and enjoyed Warringtons so much more. So much to see. Well worth a visit.

Warrington museum have put on a very well laid out exhibition featuring a small sample of the work of the late Andie Airfix.
The variety of items displayed showcase his original and innovative approach that the rock star clients appreciated.

A real find! The museum has a large collection of prehistoric and historic exhibits. There are kids' activities, some weird items from the past. The gallery includes special exhibits and regular items. Would benefit from a coffee shop but 5 minutes away from the Cultural Quarter shopping centre with great cafés

Bluebell Cottage Gardens, Plant nursery and Tea room. 2024: Open 27 Mar to end Sep, Wed-Sat 10am-5pm.
Bluebell Cottage Gardens and Nursery is a charming spot open from April to September, Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Visitors can explore the beautiful garden with its various sections and enjoy a walk through the lovely plants. The nursery offers an excellent selection of unusual perennials, making it stand out from typical garden centers. Additionally, there's a delightful tea room serving reasonably priced cakes for a relaxing break during the visit.
Squeeze down the narrow lane, over the canal bridge and there it is. Part nursery, part lovely garden, part cafe, part woodland walk. Bet it's busy at the weekend. There's an alphabetically organised nursery of perennials, lots to choose, then for a small fee, a garden to wander around, not massive, but different "rooms" and lots of interesting planting. Just outside there is a woodland walk, the bluebells in late April were amazing, and very blue, ten minutes to walk around, but longer when you're admiring the blueness. Finally a little cafe, tea, coffee, and guey cakes.... Charming comes to mind for the whole enterprise. Do visit.

Excellent choice of unusual perennials with lovely garden to walk through. Certainly not your usual garden centre which is great. The little tea room serves lovely cakes and at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if you love plants.

Lovely little plant nursery and garden walk hidden down a country lane.

I took my little one today I'm not into gardening so I can not comment on the plants they sell but I paid £5 to go into the garden and my daughter loved it what a beautiful garden it is. There is so much love gone into it. There are so many different sections to explore. On our way out we had tea and cake and this was very reasonably priced the staff I met was very friendly and helpful. The car park is free.

Wouldn’t go again. Went for click & collect. Had lots to collect. Quite small, had to park on a field of unmown grass. Staff unfriendly. All conversation had to be started by us, despite them knowing who we were, where we’d come from, how long our journey was and what plants we’d purchased. Felt we were in the way of their lunch even though we came at the time they specified. Although the garden was closed for CoVid bit rich demanding us pay an additional £4 each to walk around, despite spending loads in the nursery/shop. This is the smallest nursery we’ve visited in the NorthWest. Plants are good but they need better people skills to improve the visitor experience. I don’t think they can just blame it on CoVid.

Lovely little traditional garden centre.
Definitely on visit list for spring. Get some flowers for the garden.

Went for first time. So much more could be done with it. Cafe needs updating and few more snacks maybe.
. Bit cleaner too. If you sold bedding plants in spring you would make a lot more especially with a tea room.
Disappointed ☹️

Great selection of plants at reasonable prices and very friendly staff! Lovely coffee shop too. But the good thing is that this isn't a chain store so you know the points are well loved.

A delightful garden and nursery surrounded by lovely countryside, close to the Trent and Mersey Canal. The owner gave our group a very warm welcome and told us everything we needed to know for our visit. Good selection of perennials in the nursery and a beautiful well-kept garden with a variety of tulips and other spring flowers, rustic wooden shelters and a lily pond full of tadpoles! I loved walking in the bluebell wood. The café is in a wooden cabin with comfy seating, a nice place to relax and enjoy home-made cakes and tea served by friendly staff.

Beautiful gardens with gorgeous views over the borders, meadow and orchard. Plus lovely seating areas and wandering paths to explore the borders. We picnicked in the meadow then purchased some unusual plants from the nursery. All the staff were friendly and helpful and there was also cake 😊 We'll definitely visit again.
The Halliwell Jones Stadium is a modern stadium that hosts rugby league games, making it a great live sports venue! The staff were pros and the place was spotless, which was great given I had an NHS appointment. Plus, free parking made it even better.
For a rival stadium I have to say, I do enjoy visits here.
Games with Warrington are always action packed and the atmosphere is great. Singing starts from the players coming out for their warm ups and doesn't end until after the final whistle.
Stadium has a mixture of terraces and seated areas. West Stand is the away stand and the South Stand is the home fan stand.
There are designated areas for wheelchairs making the stadium accessible for all.
Rugby League is a great family sport and is very accessible for all, although I'd rethink if you were planning on becoming a Warrington fan!!!

Had our Christmas party here tonight. So overall it was okay. They charge £69 per head, luckily our company subsidises a large chunk. The starter was almost cold brown soup. The main was about 6 small roast potatoes, three strips of parsnip, a piece of carrot and a square shaped lump of pork all swimming in watery gravy. Desert was the best bit. No idea what it was exactly, some tart, fruit and creamy stuff. Service was haphazard, people were getting their main before others had even had the starter and the bar service was amateur. Constant dancing and chatting to each other.
Worth £69 per head? Maybe £8 for the food at a push. Drinks were okay...

Great day out with friends at the match, great atmosphere throughout the afternoon for all ages as they still are family days out. At the end was good to see the players interact from both teams with the fans around the ground taking time out for photos and talking to the younger kids.
Slight downside lager is pretty weak. Lucky had a few beforehand.

Didn't go here for rugby, but an NHS appointment. Staff were superb and place was spotless. Free parking too.

I was part of a breakfast presentation at this venue in the summer on a very hot day. The air-con wasn't the best, parking was difficult and sign-posting to the conference/function room all could be improved upon.
The room opened up into the stadium searing areas. No doubt appealing to Warrington Wolves fans.
There was nobody at hand to help with audio/visual, so setting up the presentation took longer than expected and we ended up late starting the presentation.
All of the above taken into account, I wouldn't use this venue if it was me booking a conference or presentation, unless I lived locally and all attendees were local too.

Nice stadium, decent facilities pity that Guinness was in a can and not on draught also other pump heads were hidden at the rear. Big shame they don't have a decent clock inside the stadium.

I attended the NHS clinic. Parking is a little on the tight side but on four occasions have just been able to squeeze into a recently or actively being vacated space. Miles better than the wretched parking at Warrington Hospital!
The receptionists are pleasant and efficient unlike my experience at the Bath Street clinic. See my post on that clinic and the rudeness of one of their receptionists.
The clinical person by whom I was attended was cheerful, encouraging and by no means last, entirely professional and highly competent.

Attended the England v France Mid-Season Internationals here. Easy entry through turnstiles with barcoded tickets meant I was at my seat within 2 minutes. Lots of toilets with free sanitary products provided.
Queues at half-time for the bars were big but staff were friendly and signposted me to a bar that was quieter. You're looking at between £5-6 for a pint of anything.
Stewards were really friendly but crowds could have been marshalled a little more. If you're paying for front row seats, expect to have a few people standing against the hoardings and maybe (if you're like me) Matty Ashton and France's Louis Jouffret to come flying through them if the turf's wet.
Great location being just across from Warrington Central railway station (on the Manchester to Liverpool line) & a 2 minute walk from Warrington Bus Interchange.
Nearest reputable parking is Time Square Multi-Storey which is at most a 15 minute walk from the stadium and costs £3.50 all day on a Saturday and Sunday.

We visited this play centre for the sensory room. When we arrived we were told the sensory room was closed. We had called ahead of time to ensure we got a slot and no one mentioned the sensory room was closed. And whilst talking with other families they had said the sensory room has been shut for a number of weeks. So all in all not a very good visit.

Sankey Valley Park is a large public park located in the Warringtons area of Manchester. It has abundant natural features, including canals, wetlands and green expanses, making it a great location for a brisk walk. There are many birds and a couple of foxes around dusk, as well as plenty of space and singingbirds. The park needs more benches and places to picnic (with bins), but it's still pleasant and worth visiting.
Great for all hiking, cycling, dog walking, or just a stroll. Great for wildlife and we have seen deer very early morning so beware if you have dogs 🐕 lots of seating areas for a picnic and very peaceful.

This is a lovely park for a family walk, lots of little playgrounds for various ages dotted about and lots of tree's that are good for climbing. There is plenty of wildlife to see, particularly around the water. We saw Herons, ducks, geese, swans, coots, and so many other birds! There's also a lot of squirrels darting about on their daily business. There's a giant archery target artpiece to be found, the 7 arches viaduct to walk under, and plenty of wooden sculptures.
We visited in September and had great success hunting for conkers, there are Horse-chestnut trees dotted all over! There is a huge variety of trees, bushes, plants and foliage, and it's a beautiful sight. My personal favourite was a giant willow tree with a naturally formed den for the kids to play in.
The paths were wheelchair accessible. However, the short piece of path from the car park to the main path is a bumpy one.
There were no toilets, so I suggest using one before you go, but there are plenty of hidden "tree wee" spots that would suffice if a young child was desperate and unable to wait.
Lots of picnic benches and seating throughout the park, so you could easily bring a picnic and make a day out of it.
For those who play Pokemon GO, there are plenty of pokestops, and a couple of gyms throughout the park!

The park was absolutely amazing, offering delightful sights of ducks and squirrels. It becomes truly perfect during sunset, creating an ideal atmosphere for a leisurely stroll. Additionally, there are interesting climbing structures available for children to enjoy, although I'm not entirely sure about their specific features.
The paths are adorned with dense tree foliage, allowing sunrays to gracefully penetrate the leaves, creating a picturesque ambiance. On one side of the park, there is a spacious and open area, basking in abundant direct sunlight, while the other side is enveloped by trees and greenery, providing a serene and tranquil experience for visitors.

Parking in the car park we headed to the right. Crossing the bridge over the main road takes you on a route towards Fiddlers Ferry power station which is in the process of demolition. Along the way is the Ferry Tavern Pub. Nice views on a sunny day

At heart it's a great place but as time goes by its getting worse because of the chavs on surans and the dodgy people that hang out there, just last week alone there was about 5 police cars at the car park near the loch because of some dude in blue trackies had done something.
What, idk. Police didn't tell me what they had done when I asked them why they were there.
Also I heard that a girl was approached by lads in ballies why she was sat on a bench demanding her stuff.. one had a knife, 'supposedly.
Also allot of people think its perfectly acceptable to let there dogs of leads here, towhich is just not acceptable. If its a gated area specifically for dogs, yes.. but there's none like that here so for the love of jebus keep ya pooch on a leash! not all dogs like an OVER excited dog getting in other dogs space.. so do the world a favour and be a responsible owner 👍
But apart from the bad people it's rather a nice place to walk or bikeride😊

The Warrington Transporter Bridge is a remarkable remnant of the Industrial Age that spans the River Mersey in Warrington, dating back to 1915. This Grade II-listed landmark was one of three transporter bridges constructed over the river and connected two sections of Joseph Crosfield and Sons chemical and soap factories. The bridge is made of steel beams, has a 61-meter span, and rises 23 meters above the high-water level.
Loved it, sadly there is a large amount of hogg weed covering to path coming down from slutchers lane side but crossfields side is clear. The structure itself is in need of some restoration but it is well worth a visit.
Gillian Payton — Google review
One of only five bridges of this type built in Britain, this is a wonderful thing to see. It could do with some restoration, and is quite hard to get close to.
David Edgington — Google review
Interesting structure but the access is badly neglected and uninviting
Addy Farmer — Google review
Tucked away on the banks of the river Mersey behind a soap and chemicals factory, the disused Warrington transporter bridge is so well hidden that not many people even know that it's there. It has been out of use since about 1964 and is in a poor state, yet it is one of only maybe a dozen such structures in the world. It is accessible from a footpath that can be a scramble in places. If you like to see industrial heritage in its raw state, this place is worth a visit; if you prefer attractions with a café and gift shop, this is probably not for you.
Shaun Brierley — Google review
An amazing architectural gem that must be seen. Park on Eastford Road then cross the river by the steps and footpath that run alongside the first rail bridge. Then just follow the rough path along the river bank.

Went on a "scenic" route if you can call it that on slutchers lane past teamsport go karting and if you plan on visiting i would avoid this route as its badly neglected and the path is filled with tents that make the walk very sketchy and unwelcoming

Excited to see brown tourist signs off Slutchers Lane but once parked by the go karting venue it then becomes a Bear Grylls challenge. Not a safe walk through a muddy field, down river banks and under bridges with interesting graffiti before wading through weed ridden trails to see the bridge. Just not sure why you'd spend money on the brown signs but then leave it at that

A brilliant bit of architectural heritage just a shame the path too it is so rough & it passes right through a chemical plant with no walkable route too wallton due too the overgrown shrubbery.
The TeamSport Go Karting Warrington indoor track is a state-of-the-art racing venue with a flyover and electronic timing system. It's perfect for both beginners and experienced karters, and is split over three levels to cater for all ages.
Went for the first time since covid happened last night, genuinely a brilliant experience! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and funny, they helped make it a great night, we had two 15 minute races which if your not experienced does take alot of body strength depending on how hard you drive Haha! Bought a discount voucher and will definitely be going back soon, a mega time out for a group of mates 👌🏻 went back to use our discount vouchers last night (23.2.22) had a blast, staff were brilliant and enthusiastic as usual, and still cant fault the place! Would recommend most definitely🤙

Great track, knowledgeable and helpful staff, over all great experience. I’d suggest just two simple things:
1: please put more track signal lights in as there are quite a few sections where you don’t see the status (red/amber/green).
2: little bit more washing up powder for overalls to kill the smell wouldn’t hurt :)
100% recommended we will come again. Thanks

Our racing experience was great. Loved the actual driving part. Track was large and interesting. Karts fast and responsive. The instructions given in the brief were clear and easy to follow so I felt like I knew what I was doing on the track.
Downsides: we were told to be there 40 mins early and then the doors were still locked for a while after we arrived. We spent this 40 minutes getting dressed and then doing nothing and we were late for both our time slots because everyone was late (due the locked doors). I feel like we could have been briefed well before the 4pm session start. It just meant everything went way longer than expected impacting babysitters and our journey home. We also had 18 racers on the second go round - four of whom seemed to be regulars who drove aggressively and those elements took away from the enjoyment of that race.
Hannah Shead — Google review
Had a super fun couple of sessions here with friends today. We travelled from Stoke and Liverpool to come to the track and we all thought it was worth the journey.
The petrol karts get the adrenaline pumping for sure and gets up to some nippy speeds. The lack of power steering is very evident and you sure get achy arms after! If you've been to some other TeamSport locations then you may have used the electric ones, so it's certainly hard work going back to the petrol.
The sessions were running a bit behind but the team worked their socks off running the day smoothly, and when crashes occurred they didn't massively reduce the track time for people.
People in our sessions raced well and we barely had any stops in the races so we really got the most out of our sessions.
The track is awesome and the longest one we've raced indoors.
The facilities are adequate, they did run out of quite a lot of stock on a busy weekend day and the chairs probably need replacing but still good.
Some of the race suits have seen better days and keeping the velcro stuck was like fighting a losing battle.
Overall a fantastic day out.

Travelled an hour away for the 40 lap race I booked but arrived 15 minutes early rather than the 30 minutes advised by the website so we weren't let in but we understood as we were at fault.
The manager said they couldn't refund us but we can rebook or get vouchers instead. We came from far away so decided to book the 2 15 minutes sessions instead (same price but almost half the racing time compared to the 40 lap race).
Didn't have a problem with anything until we went to the next session 30 minutes early as advised only to see that the same manager let people in until 10 minutes before the race with some people even getting changed in the briefing room.
Now I'm not the type of person to say I'm bieng discriminated against based on my ethnicity when things don't go my way but the fact that they didn't let us(3 brown lads) in but let other people in definately makes me think the manager was had other motivations.

Updated review:
Great track and layout. Entertaining staff members that dance along to the music that is playing, great advice on how to attack the track and approach different corners.
Managed to get enough people together to carry out a Grand Prix experience which enabled a free flowing event with very few incidents and no rule disobeying by people who didn't understand or follow the safety rules, this enables a good race event for everyone and gave a much better experience of this Go-Karting facility.
Will certainly be visiting again with a group of competent racers and drivers.
Highly recommend visiting TeamSport Warrington.

Superb karting experience. Good track and obviously the new karts are amazing. Track is something else to race with an average of 60 seconds with great corners and high speed parts. The hospitality of the staff is superb and nothing is any trouble. Hayden/Aiden (sorry I did not get the spelling of his name) was an absolute superstar as under the bridge had flooded due to the rains and he was ferrying customers through this in his own motor to help the customers out, dropping my lad and me back at the train station as well. Overall though well worth a visit of you like karting and good staff. Well done transport Warrington on making my lad and myself very welcome on our first visit.

Awesome couple of hours at this fantastic track. Still in my eyes the best indoor track I've been to. Staff were excellent as usual but Nathan please take a bow. He went the extra mile today and joined us on track as it was a very quiet final session. He was able to share his experience round the track and I went quicker which is always a plus so thank you. Fantastic physically demanding track. Don't do the 40 lap if you aren't prepared for a bit of a work out. Excellent staff. Will be visiting again. Seen a fair few reviews on here moaning. These are 40mph karts and it's a physical track. Don't expect to feel like youve been on a fairground ride, it is physical and a couple of bruises are inevitable. Loads of fun though if you're not a wet lettuce.

Great track, in need of TLC as it’s getting a little bit too warn in places, especially in the wooden section and below the ramp. Although that bumpy feeling is exhilarating!!
Staff are a delight, great at giving track tips, amateurs be sure to chat to your track marshals if you want to improve!! I’ve had some amazing sessions with other members on the track, minimal stoppage. Can be very strenuous not for the weak!!

Great track albeit slightly shorter than my last visit. Still really fun with some great sections. The bar and the rest of the building are great, really modern.
The electric karts are amazing, I was a bit dubious having not tried them before, but they’re much better than the petrol ones.
The only issue is had that soured the experience for me was that there were too many people on the track at once. I didn’t manage a single lap without a yellow flag or having to pass multiple people. Really frustrating especially since I have raced a lot and know I could go a lot faster.

A good venue and nice track layout. The refurbishment has made a real difference and the venue feels fresh and clean. The new electric karts perform well. My only suggestion would be to split the track into 2/3 sections with a Marshall in each. This would allow for sections you be under yellows and big the whole track. I think that we only had 3 laps in our adults session that were solid green. This is frustrating when you come to kart😕
Leigh Edgley — Google review
We were booked in for four 15 minutes sessions. Through the four sessions I completed two full laps where I was able to go full speed. There were too many karts on the track at any one point and this caused a lot of amber and red lights. The track itself is amazing but I wouldn't return unless there were significantly less karts on the track at any one time. I would also like to say that your representative Sesil is a very good young man and is a credit to your company.

We Went to Warrington with my son and his friends today. It’s been a couple of years since we last went. Great new electric go carts but most of the 15 minutes was spent on both occasions on yellow flag, GO SLOW. In my option 20 go carts in one race was to many. We might as well walked around it would have been quicker.
I hope this review is taken on board and the necessary changes made.

Warrington's Town Hall is a historic country house that was originally built for Thomas Patten, a merchant who had made the River Mersey passable from Runcorn to Bank Quay. The hall now serves as the administrative center of Warrington Borough Council and is listed on the National Heritage List.
Amazing! I was lucky enough to be a VIP thanks to Watrington World Wide who kindly allowed me to join the team of elite runners. We all go round in decent times without any injuries.
Karen Mundry personally invited me into her private room at the Town Hall and give me and my family a guided tour which was really interesting to find out facts and information which we never knew before.
Karen Mundry is a credit to our town and it was a great honour to be invited into her private room.

RAF Burtonwood Heritage Centre is situated near the entrance of a well-known theme park in Europe. This museum was constructed on the former site of RAF Burtonwood, which used to be the largest airfield in Europe. Visitors can access it through Gullivers car park, even if they are not going to the theme park. The museum is small but has numerous exhibits from the period when American service personnel (not pilots) were stationed there during World War II and beyond.

An incredible tribute to the history of RAF Burtonwood and the USAAF during WWII and beginning of the Cold War in the 1950’s. The Centre is packed with memorabilia and the displays have been put together with expertise, care, and attention to detail. The volunteer guides are helpful and knowledgeable. The 12 minute introductory film is a must-see to start your visit. My friend and I spent an afternoon at the Centre as we have an interest in specific people and planes associated with Burtonwood, however it is a treasure for anyone interested in local history of Warrington or WWII action. Well worth a visit.

Make sure you take cash as the don't have a card machine. As it is in the car park of Gullivers World, it's open when they are. Opening time is 2.30.
Fabulous displays.

This is a lovely place, quite small in size but packed with lots of artifacts covering the period of time the area was a base for American service men (technicians, not pilots) during ww2 & beyond. If you wish to go do check their opening times beforehand as the opening times are quite short but for those interested in where ww2 aircraft were repaired & maintained and how the locals interacted with Americans based in England this place is very informative as are the staff.

A very interesting place to visit, and all that's left of what once was the biggest airbase in Europe. It is not a very big centre but the audio visual presentation is well worth seeing and there is a reasonable amount of artifacts to see. The staff member we spoke to was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's not open every day, and not until 2pm, so check before you go.
Woolston Park is a lovely, peaceful park in the heart of Warrington. It's great for a Sunday morning walk or to spend a weekday afternoon. There are few kids around and it's great for dog-walking. The duckpond and sports fields are also popular with local people.
Way bigger than it looks, two great play areas for the kids. Really quiet.

Alright to take the dog for a quick walk if you live in the area. Few kids knocking about. Spotted some bats and a few rabbits.

New to the area and it's a lovely varied park with nice little walks. Lots of playground areas that are well kept, plenty of bins and benches dotted around.
Lots of nature and I often seen wild rabbits and plenty of squirrels!
Dog friendly park and I've not noticed any mess anywhere so everybody seems to clean up their business.
The only criticism is some folks don't seem to pay attention to their dogs and let them just wander miles down the park off a lead unattended. Lots of friendly dogs and walkers but some are a bit ignorant and don't respect other dogs space by doing this.

I came here in the fall of 2021, and I thought of it when I was sorting out photos. I miss this place very much, and I hope there is a park like this next to my home.

Fllods at slightest drop of rain. Grass is always too long and heavy going to play on.

Mostly clean garden area's and quite atmosphere. Okay it's an ordinary park at the end of the day but dose have small pond area and it's lovely to walk around and have a quite moment to yourself, has I suffer from mental health so find the park ideal copping strategy. Ideal for for all family to enjoy from climbing frames and swings or have kick about with football or even game of rounders. Ha ! Maybe just to relax on large green area's. Great lovely park.

The Dream Sculpture is a white pre-cast concrete art piece standing tall at 20 meters on the grounds of a former colliery. It is situated atop a short steep hill, accessible by good paths, and offers visitors many little pathways to explore. There is plenty of seating around the sculpture for people to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere despite audible traffic noise in the background.
Great place to visit. If you want to increase your steps. Walk through to clockface Country Park, it's another good walk

Lovely walk. Seating around the sculpture for plenty of people. Lots of little paths to do different walks. We found that, even though you can hear traffic, it still feels rather peaceful at the top

Extremely impressive. The head and neck of a woman with her eyes closed in meditation, 66' tall and 500 tonnes, in white as a contrast to the black coal that was mined on this site of the former Sutton Manor Colliery. The plinth is in the shape of a miners tally. Ex-miners were involved in its choice as a monument. They wanted something progressive rather than a typical mining sculpture.

A nice little walk up to the sculpture. We spotted it from the M62 on a road trip and went for a closer look on the way home. It is up a fairly short steep hill to see it up close. The paths are good and the route to the sculpture is accessible.

Lovely little loop walk not too difficult unless it is icy...which it was when we visited.
Don't attempt with a pram, shoes without a grippy shoes if it's icy.
Will be lovely in other conditions and Summer.

Sign-posted on the road towards it, but still a little difficult to find the actual entrance. Park in the lot just past the gas petrol station.
Once inside, it is a fair, winding, slightly uphill walk until you come across it.

Really nice and scenic park.
It is a good park to take the dogs for a walk or run.
There are quite a few small animals that can be spotted on the trail like ducks, rabbits and various birds.
The sculpture is quite impressive up close and there is a lot of interesting information regarding the sculpture on a sign.
Around the trails are unique little sculptures with beautiful quotes, each small sculpture has a different quote, making each unique.
This is a good path to take children on and isn’t too steep or long for little children.
I would recommend going on this little walk to experience some interesting local history.

A fantastic walk, a great place to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. Everybody seems happy, always great each other with a smile or "hello as you pass by. Dog walkers love it too.

Fantastic views of the local area and right across to the old jubilee bridge and the new Runcorn bridge and over to the left the four towers at Widnes the paths are good and solid so you don't get too muddy even when it's very wet fantastic for getting your steps in or walking the dog.

Stunning sculpture, one for the bucket list for sure.
The surrounding woods are scenic and plentiful, perfect for an afternoon walk. From the Colliery gates to the sculpture is around a 10 minute walk for most (heading right once through the gates - shortest route) with a steep incline near the end.
Stunning views over Cheshire on the ascent up to the sculpture too, including a good view of Fiddlers Ferry Power Station which was nice to see before it gets demolished.
All in all, beautiful.

Sankey Canal (disused) offers a delightful setting for leisurely strolls, perfect for enjoying a peaceful walk with your furry friend. The well-maintained paths make it an ideal spot to take in the serene surroundings and unwind amidst nature's beauty.
Just a lovely place to walk with the dog.
