This one of the 5 star ratings that makes me wish there was a 6th star option. The owner and the staff are all clearly passionate about what they do. The food was unbelievably delicious. Every one of us had a fantastic meal and cleaned our plates. It's so hard to find Italian food this good!! The pasta is made in house and you can certainly tell. It was delicious and fresh tasting. Giorgio was a gracious host and very polite and friendly. Our server Tom was extremely knowledgeable about the food and how it's prepared. He was also very upbeat and friendly. He had great suggestions and terrific service. The live music by Jonah was perfect. Not too loud. Just enough to make the atmosphere enjoyable and make you feel like you truly escaped for a night on the town. We will definitely be going back and my only regret is that I didn't discover this restaurant sooner. This place is a gem and we're lucky to have it in Freehold!
The food is here is fairly good but service is slow. We had a nice, polite waiter who appeared attentive at first but it was nearly impossible to get his attention after being seated. Do not plan on going here for lunch, you'll never get back in time.
It's appears as if the restaurant has large doors on the front that will open out onto the street. That would be nice on a summer evening.
The white table clothes and dishes add a nice touch but this is a very long and narrow restaurant. Request sitting in the front room or else you may find yourself sitting in a long, narrow, hallway.
Josephine was our server and she was great. The food was amazing. I had the fussili shrimp and seafood with their secret marinara sauce and one of the best I’ve ever had. Rivaled my moms. A hidden gem.
Perfect place for a celebration on 2/22/22!. The service was superb! Thanks Dianne. The food was fabulous! Cheers to the chef! The live music was romantic . Thanks Jonah Chalnick. Desserts delicious! BYOB Highly recommend!
The service was excellent but wish I could say the food was better. The arugula salad was very good! We ordered the lasagna and bronzino. The fish and spinach was good but the fish with sauce was cold. Even the sauce was coagulated from sitting. I wrapped it to go. The lasagna was cold and tasteless. Had much better elsewhere. We were seated in the front room. Ambiance was eh. But, again, all of the service was excellent!
