The service was great! Highly recommend the cauliflower!! A little strange they didn’t bring water until asked, and they only brought it for me. I’m guessing it’s them trying to be sustainable. The chef came out to assure my boyfriend that there was no shellfish in his steak. I wouldn’t order the tuna bowl again, it was a tiny bit fishy and I tried to eat around the tuna. The steak was amazing. Would definitely go back!
If you’re looking for a restaurant that can cater to food allergies/sensitivities, True Food Kitchen is a great restaurant to check out. They have a very nice menu selection as well as a great cocktail list. Everything on the menu is very seasonal and changes often. Our passion fruit margaritas were pretty good. We started with the edamame dumplings. The dumplings were sadly pretty soggy, not surprising since they were basically swimming in the sauce. The ancient grains bowl was so good I highly recommend it! The butternut squash pizza was absolutely delicious. The homemade vegan almond ricotta needs to be sold commercially. It was that good! The grass-fed steak tacos were decent. The service was so slow, the restaurant was pretty empty too. It unfortunately made it hard to appreciate the food. I’m not sure how soon I’ll be back, especially with how much we paid.
Looking for something different in the area and found this restaurant. Looking at the amount of reviews I decided to try it out. I’m glad I did as the restaurant has a cool vibe to it. Nice and open with patio seating and a nice walk around bar. The bartender was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Not sure if I came at the right time but the wait was not that long. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!
You can tell the food is fresh as are the drinks, nice variety of apps/entrees/drinks and desserts.
Me and my girlfriend both found the bowls to be solid, nothing amazing, where this place really shined for us was the drinks and desserts.
We LOVED the coconut cold brew coffee and the giant chocolate chip cookie with cosmic bliss ice cream. The fresh juice my girlfriend got as well as the sparkling water I got were both pretty good as well.
Would recommend coming here.
Our waitress Aiesha(I think this was it, if not sorry!) was super friendly, attentive and all around awesome.
True Food Kitchen is a lively eatery with decor that matches the bright and cheery personalities of it's staff.
Service: We were greated immediately upon entering. I mistakenly canceled my reservation, however we were seated right away. Fairly busy day, but we didnt wait long at all for service.
Our server was awesome bubbly and attentive.
Food: The margarita tasted refreshing! It wasn't overly sweet like most that I've had. The butternut squash soup was buttery and perfect for the chilly weather. I loved the added fresh sage for garnishment. It gave some flair to the soup. The salads were fresh. Greens were crisp.
Overall fantastic dining experience.
It was a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get. Fresh healthy great quality food and beverage.
