Excellent service! We had a reservation for five, the manager and the fantastic waitress Alex attended us right away and made us feel at home. We started with drinks, but the real star were the appetizers and entrees. We were lucky to have lobster that was captured that morning... the scallops, oysters, and shrimp were very fresh and tasty.
Entrees came fast and hot, everyone enjoyed their meals, mine (the sea bass) was easily I've ever had. Every dish was made with care and thought for the plating. It really felt like a special birthday dinner for my mom and aunt.
Lastly, this place is very careful about allergies, they were able to make sure everyone had a dessert they could eat! That's worth 10 stars by itself. Can't wait to go back!
We had some beer after visiting Manhattan Beach, this is a very light and bright seafood restaurant which I like more instead of the dark high-end restaurant. The oysters are fresh with name labeled which is a good lesson for recognizing oysters. You can feel the difference between the different oysters, some fat, some salt, some savoy.
There was a Vietnamese restaurant called Little Sister, which was also good. Unfortunately, it's closed, permanently.
Be aware, lunch is only to 6 pm, lunch? After that, the restaurant will become a fine dining one. I like it.
Love the key lime pie here!
Oyster and sea urchin are very fresh but overall feel this is just an avg seafood place that you would expect
Halibut is very salty. Not recommend
Excellent sea food in this cozy joint in Manhattan beach. We showed up sans a reservation, they sat us at the bar .. we were able to catch up extensively with the bar tender and order the right appetizers and main course. Both the apps and main course fish are amazing to say the least. Irrespective of the price, this is the place to visit and savor the taste of their sea food concoctions .. true dynamite taste indeed.
They threw in an excellent key lime pie due to our special occasion .. awesome people
Blown Away!!!!! Started off with a delicious cosmo martini and a mix of oysters, shrimp cocktail and Peruvian scallops (only ordered 4 but I recommend a dozen-yes they were that good!)
Mains were Koshihikari Rice (so good!) and the shrimp roll. Key lime pie for the final explosion!
