A large living open air museum, with lots to see for the whole family. Some minuses where not able to ride the train if you don't have cash or Danish mobile pay and the restaurant didn't sell any food or snacks, just drinks and ice cream. Also some of the houses could do with a bit of love. They are old but there is a difference between old and falling a part. But still the atmosphere and all the houses, animals, objects that are really good (and there's a lot) make it a good visit!

The slaughter of the pig and skinning of the fox isn't for the faint hearted and can imagine some people have would be disturbed by this but you have to respect the cultural traditions and this was the way of survival in cold rural Denmark 🇩🇰

Excellent open-air museum with renactors depicting life in the late 17th and up to the early 18th century danish countryside. There is a lot of good interactive ways yo be involved in how people lived that shows all the hard work there was back then. You can also participate in building a brick wall, carving wood, go to school or make your own flatbread. Great kids experience as there is lots of installations where kids can interact, like small games that they played back then.

Absolutely stunning place! So peaceful and beautiful. Simple but comfortable rooms and the food at the restaurant was second to none. We had the stuffed quail and the fried monkfish and both were amazing and a surprising amount of food too. The beer was great too. In the morning we had a super pleasant little horse and carriage ride through the woods, totally worth the 20dkk. I hope we can go back and explore more of the area.

Large modern, clean bedrooms. Can ask for entrance to the main house (keycode from reception) which had lots of ancient stuff from family who previously lived there. Excellent food and service - we were party of 10 and at breakfast waitress was able to put tables together despite being busy.

I had a great stay at Nørre Vosborg! The place is surrounded by beautiful historical buildings and wonderful nature. The rooms are large with modern interior and in minimalistic Scandinavian design. I was also pleased with the service provided by the staff in both the restaurant and at the reception, which was kind and helpful. We were driving around Denmark and wanted to find a nicer place to stay on our journeys so we drove a bit out of our way to stay here. The grounds and the facilities are absolutely beautiful here. There are many walking trails outside of the property as well as biking options, but strolling around the property grounds itself is very nice. The staff was all helpful and attentive in both the reception and the cafe. We only had a chance to eat at the cafe but our food was superb and they were very accommodating when we asked for something that was not on the menu. Many of the buildings have a wonderful historical charm on the outside but the facilities inside are clean, modern and updated. Even the new buildings they have built for lodging fit nicely into the layout and look of the property. I highly recommend this place as a destination. We were sad that we only had time to stay here for one night.

Amazing hotel build around an old manor. Very quiet and relaxing. We stayed in the new annex building. Rooms there feature a modern, contemporary design. Breakfast is in a separate building and offers a good buffet selection. Dinner is served in the manor main building. Very tasty and prepared with local ingredients. Service in the restaurant was very friendly and personal. Prices are on the higher side. We really enjoyed our stay.

A 3 star hotel at middle of nowhere, not kid friendly, rooms has no fridge and microwave. Unfortunately the ventilation of the room and the bathroom is not good and you can’t keep the window open because of too many mosquitoes. The restaurant is open from 08:00 to 17:00 and after that you have to buy food from super market that closest one is at a village in 15 min driving distance. The wifi is not good and there are blind spots in the room for 4G. The rooms smell of smoke, but the bed and sheets were clean. The breakfast was good and the staffs were helpful.

A really cool little museum, with expositions available in english, german and danish. A perfect place to visit on the weekend, takes about 1 - 2 hours to see the whole thing. The museum ticket also grants you entrance to the tower, which has an awesome view of the area. Would recommend

This museum was one of the best surprises during our Denmark vacation in 2020. It is really nicely done, telling the story of the sunken ships St George and Defence. There are many historic artefacts in the museum, but also the stories behind, both presented in a conventional way and utilising new digital technologies. There are many opportunities for interaction. Also there is a great lookout from the tower of the building and there is a fantastic playground in front of the museum. We can highly recommend this place both for families with children as well as for adults. Five stars!
