You need to reserve 1.5 h for visit there. We booked this visit online. There was either in Polish or English. A little funny, more for children.

It was a pleasure to visit there. I had a chance to get knowledge about gingerbread manufacturing and try to make one by myself. The guides were well prepared and made most immersive atmosphere. Totally worth recommend

We had a great time with my family in the museum, they run a really engaging and interactive presentation telling you everything there is to know about Pierniki. The staff created a really fun atmosphere for parents and children while doing so. I really recommend you visit this place when you come to Torun. Make sure you get your tickets early on as they towards the end of the day they sell out.

It's not a museum, it's cooking class. I inquired before entering if samples to taste were available. I was deceptively assured, "yes". What I wasn't informed was that I had to pay for them. And a hefty sum at that. Recommendation: There are better things to do in Torun.

It's more of the show than museum, but that's ok. I truly enjoyed the first, medieval part. Second part wasn't so good, the place was overcrowded, and it was hard to see anything. Also, the actress didn't seem to enjoy her role. Definitely I don't regret the visit, but there's quite a lot to improve here.

It’s a show, and it’s in Polish. You get to make gingerbread, BUT you can’t eat it. I was quite disappointed. We didn’t reserve tickets early, so we had to go to the museum to get a ticket/slot. The window opens 15 minutes before the full hour (you can also buy online). The English show is actually a person translating to you on the spot through a headset device. It was okay, probably really good for kids.

Loved the gingerbread workshop! The staff at the museum are super friendly and helpful. For the gingerbread making, we arrived on time for the Polish workshop and the staff member made sure to provide us with English translations - she was so nice & funny and really made the workshop entertaining and enjoyable, and you get to keep your gingerbread of course. Overall, a great experience and fantastic staff members - the highlight of my visit to Toruń!

How can you come to the city of Torun and not come here? Unbelievable. I'm glad they brought us here for their volunteering project.

Awesome presentation! My wife and I loved the experience. We learned more about pierniki in a fun and interactive way. The actors were very cheerful and with a contagious enthusiasm, thank you very much for this special moment.

Very interesting, hands on experience far from stiffened lecturing. Maybe sometimes too direct but without breaking the boundaries of good taste. The interior decor and equipment carefully chosen. The form is close to a theatrical play. In two floors, one medieval manufacture and second 19 th century manufacturing. Course of gingerbread decoration, and overall immersion in the historical periods are a plus. Unfortunately it is quite “crowdy” and everyone should wear mask inside as closeness is inevitable. Great for children and parents. Sessions are bought out early before each day so make sure you buy it in advance as on the spot you may be too late. After the session you will get your self-made figurative gingerbread to place on your Christmas tree.

Spectacular. Ginger bread master and merchant were the best. They even tried to use old, medieval polish pronunciation, that was a lot of fun. Apart from that we enjoyed producing our own ginger bread (as seen in the posted picture). We were also amised by group guessing the quiz on "my friends what is the spice that I am presenting to you right now", and also the dodgy question: "what spice used during the ginger bread manufacturing is a root spice?"

I was in a group of 100 people and we told them the we were 10min late cause we came all the way from Poznan witch Is more than 2 hours drive away, when we arrived the staff just told US really rudely that the show had already started and that we couldn't get in even if we said that we were going to be a little late. Really the worst and mist infurating expirience.

Do not recommend for foreigners. The sound in headphones for the English version is too loud, no direct solution to make it quiet. I began to worry about my sense of hearing and left before the end of the show.

Thank you for bringing back great memories from my childhood when we used to had planetarium in Riga. 😊🙏 I enjoyed a Macrocosmos show. My colleague felt a little sick, but overall experience is great and worth a try. Those who suffers from seasickness not recommended.

A Planetarium is always a good idea, I personally love Astronomy. However, there was no translations in any languages from Polish!! Ridiculous Second, this Planetarium was not that interesting. I fell asleep after 5 minutes. The images were not of a great quality. It was quality from 2000 but not 2023. I've been to much better Planetariums in other countries. Overall disappointing.

Great place for families with children. Movies are designed for children without too many scientific facts so it can be enjoyable for them. There is no cloakroom there what is a pity but from the projection people are coming out directly to the street. Make sure you have your mask on as many people ignore the risk and do not wear it inside coughing in the tight interiors. If you reserve your ticket online you have to buy it earlier than 15 minutes before the projection or you will loose it.

It's possible to pay in cash and using a credit card. During weekends all tickets are discounted to the price of a student ticket. The shows are quite interesting, but made with 3D graphics that looks really outdated, during some parts of the show one may feel a little sick, but overall experience is great and worth a try.

Awesome show, gigantic roof screen, good quality sound, comfortable seats. Show is around 40 minutes, and spherical giant screen creates "dive in" feeling, might not be good idea for someone who has motion sickness. You can also get headphones with English dubbing, you have to ask about it via email after you make a reservation for the show. Ticket price is 17pln for adults.

Gorgeous location and statue! I found it very interesting that it is written in Latin as not to upset the Polish nor the German writing citizens. Best seen at night or early morning before the crowds.

The monument of Nicolaus Copernicus standing in the Old Town Square is one of the most important symbols of Toruń. The monument was placed in its current location in 1853, making it the second-oldest preserved statue of Nicolaus Copernicus in Poland. The figure of the eminent astronomer was cast in bronze and stands over 2.5 meters tall. The sculpture was created by Berlin artist Friedrich Abraham Tieck. The Latin inscription on the pedestal indicates that the commemorated person is Nicolaus Copernicus, a Toruń native, who set the Earth in motion while halting the Sun and the sky. It is challenging to capture a photo of Copernicus alone or against the monument backdrop without other accompanying individuals, as the statue is typically surrounded by tourists.

Toruń old town was amazing! Especially Copernicus monuments and university. You have to be there and eat famous and delicious gingerbread 😊🤗😋👍🏻

If you have been interested in or heard of the revolution of the Earth, the man Copernicus is the genius scholar who insisted the Sun is at the center of our solar system, and the Earth orbits the Sun. So, worth the visit here when you are traveling Torun. Heliocentric theory / Copernican system 지동설 👀

Beautiful place for photos day or night. 😎 Nearby: for a few złotych, buy tickets and climb to the roof of the clock tower above Copernicus' statue. It's worth it! Such a view!You climb right past the bells that chime the hour. (Stairs aren't even, so be careful. It's an adventure!)

A place you must see in the oldtown center of Torun, it’s a amazing city that I could say one of the most beautiful city in Poland, even better than krakow and Wroclaw in someways. Hardly destroyed in WW2, therefore a lot of historical buildings survived. Torun also happened to be the hometown of Nicolaus Copernicus.

The history about the city is so interesting. There is alot to learn about religion and architecture etc.

Housed in old town hall. Great collection of medieval religious paintings and icons. Interesting collection and information. The view from the tower is great.

It was a interesting looking place with a cool history. But if you don't have a previous knowledge of the place and if you don't speak Polish, you might not get much out of it. There are displays inside that explain some examples of daily work of the people from that era. It's a little bit expensive for what you get but it's still an interesting little stop.

We were expecting a tower,but we were disappointed.😅 Anyway, Torun is a nice place.

Fascinating tower, it looks odd with the tilting. Don't know if you are allowed inside since it was closed.

This tower, which has protected the city for centuries, is now retired. it has become a most populer tourist destination
