I loved this place. For me it was the first sight of the old town of Cividale del Friuli. When you look down to the rover you see a calm valley with tropical plants growing on the sides of the canyon. You see all the towers of the churches. Really beautiful

Small romantic city. Perfect to take a familiy for a weekend. There is lot of small streets where you can walk and take amaizing pics.

With 4€ you can visit the tempietto longobardo inside the monastery. Take your time to visit this small jewel, mostly if you love ancient art. There are descriptions in Italian and English about the life of the nuns and about the temple and its frescoes.

Unfortunately the temple is currently being renovated and there is very little to see - the films were very interesting and I imagine it will be great when it is finished
