There are lots of interesting devices, machines, motorcycles and cars on display. There's even a huge train inside. I even saw an old Dialysis machine. It was awesome. I'm so grateful to have good neighbors who showed me around and invited me to visit this museum.

One of the best archaeology museums I've ever seen, it is quite ambitious trying (and succeeding) to tell the story of humanity itself through the finds around Saxony. It has a balanced approach between exhibits, explanations and interactive elements, while boasting a cornucopia of exhibits some as old as 35k years it feels the exhibits are chosen with a purpose in mind. The story is told with enough accuracy to keep the specialist interested while being also fun for the laymen and even for children. Very modern in outlook it is enjoyable, spacious, clean and well ventilated. The entrance fee is small for what you get to explore. 10/10 recommended 💪

it has an amazing collection of archeology worth for visiting. But there are no description for early Saxon history before they will convert to Christianity. Also they are selling Longobards accessories at their shop but no exposition at the museum ! I'd like to keep on visiting here to see how they will improve it.

Loved this museum. Very complete and very interesting if you're want to know about prehistoric periods in Europe. Most of the interactive displays had options for German and English. English audio tour also available. We spent 3 hours there and could have spent longer.

Great museum and very interesting but also the most irritating staff member I have ever encountered in any museum anywhere in the world, ever. Simply viewing a display out of order triggered a telling off otherwise would be a 5 star
