Amazing architecture! Need to make reservations for wine tasting and/or to eat at the restaurant. We tried a few local wines which were really good. Removing 1 star because we found the service to be extremely slow. We ordered a few vegetarian items off the menu & they were not that impressive. The ambiance / architecture of this place was phenomenal.

Our lunch stop here turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The moment we set foot on the grounds, we were mesmerized by the stunning beauty surrounding us. The rolling hills stretched out before our eyes, offering a picturesque backdrop that seemed straight out of a painting. The food and wine only heightened our enjoyment. Each dish was a delightful fusion of traditional Tuscan flavors and modern culinary expertise. From the fresh, locally sourced ingredients paired with a glass of exquisite Tuscan wine. Highly recommended.

This is a very fancy winery. It has been rated as one of the nicest in the world for how it looks. It is super modern and they produce good wines, and they are expensive. I did not do a tasting but explored the grounds before lunch and it was nice. The tastings run around 160€ so if you wanna do that be prepared. If you don’t wanna do that you can go to their restaurant and order some of their wines. Went in March and the vines were not in full bloom. I would return.

If you are looking for a winery close to florence or highway to take pictures with vineyards with a cool background and new age architecture, this is your spot. There is a restaurant on top floor that the people are super nice. You have to book a reservation beforehand. It is a different name then this Google spot, can see from maps, and book the reservation through there. Don’t try to use website for this place as hard to get info. I do recommend coming to see place, have to take a shuttle in also and park around. It is a professional place, just realize before you come that it isn’t a small family owned winery.

We booked wine testing (the short tour with 3 wines) for a couple, like a month before we arrived. we wanted our friends (another couple with a baby) to join us but there were no more available places on the website for the time we booked. so I booked our friends a tasting on another day. I have send them an email and asked if it was possible we do it together and luckily they changed the reservation so that we can make it. My point is - you should try to talk to them in advance. The place is beautiful, wonderful architecture and the wines were good. I liked the most the Chianti Classico they offered. You can also buy a testing in the wine shop. Great experience.

Absolutely amazing. The winery is stunning with breathtaking views. We weren’t able to do a tour but enjoyed the tasting room and restaurant upstairs. The restaurant was actually closed when we got up there but they allowed us to have some wine and then offered us a meat plate AND dessert. It was above and beyond and we were so grateful for their hospitality. We will be sure to book a tour next time we are in Florence!

An incredible winery with the most incredible collection of wines and architecture. Make sure you book ahead for any of the tours, we unfortunately didn't get a chance, however the wine tasting was worth the trip alone. We took 4 bottles with us and the staff made sure to pack them up in boxes for our flight back, so were incredibly appreciative.

Wow wow wow what a beautiful place and not as typical winery you would think it will look like in Italy. Beautiful designed building amazing light. We did a small tasting and had were lucky to get a table at the restaurant with amazing red wine and some charcuterie and cheese. Perfect trip from Florence.

The wine was good but the tour was not worth it. It was a 2 hour tour + tasting but the tour lasted the full two hours and droned on for a very long time. The tasting then felt very rushed at the end past the time limit. Our guide was also somewhat rude. The building is beautiful but I would recommend just doing a tasting here.

Amazing place architecturaly. Well done for vision and courage. Poor for ease of access. It was a very wet day and we were not allowed to drop our passengers up at the entrance. We were directed to a distant car park and told a shuttle bus would collect us. There was only one small shuttle bus which could take 8 passengers. There were a lot of people waiting. We had to set off walking in the rain which took us 20 minutes. When we got to the restaurant (very wet) we were told we were 20 minutes late! There was no help for the physically challenged. Food and wine was very good but pricey. We trudged back to the car park after lunch and the shuttle bus passed us on the way down with only 2 people in it and didn't stop to take some of us. One of our group had a problem knee and found it very difficult. It is certainly an amazing place but they need to be more customer caring. Allow the driver to drop off their passengers. This would put less pressure on the shuttle bus and, also, please do something to enable access for wheelchair users and those who find walking difficult.

Tiania tour (the smallest one) was nice, but it felt a bit rushed. We've been to winery tours where the guide is way more passionate and excited about wine making. This felt a bit robotic. Given this is a very large and famous winery, I can see why. Overall, we were very impressed with the facilities. The wine tasting was pretty standard. If you wanted additional tastings to the tour, you could pay for different sized pours. It's a beautiful spot to visit, but you absolutely need to book months in advance. I'd go again to try their more expensive tours, but I wouldn't expect the family run vibe.

We visited Antinori nel Chianti Classico in August 2023, it was one of the best experiences of our trip, is like stepping into a Tuscan dream. The wines were incredible, rich, flavorful, and utterly delicious. The winery itself is a masterpiece of architecture, seamlessly blending modern design with the traditional Tuscan landscape. The staff was so kind and attentive, ready to share their passion and knowledge with a smile. A visit here isn’t just about wine; it’s an experience you’ll remember forever.

Wonderful wines and stunning architecture! Loved visiting it, even though it was expensive and the restaurant did not meet our expectations;( just come and see, don’t eat, just drink - plenty, it’s very good 👍 Even in Vietnam they serve their wines!!!

While the breathtaking architecture will help enjoy the shop and wine tasting experience, the over the top building has to be paid for by something, and that is with overpriced wine. 18€ tasting for 1oz of 4 different bottles and tours from 45€ to 185€. Obviously the 45€ tour is never available, so you are pushed into the expensive experience. The service by the gate guard and tasting staff were terrific, but the reception desk is an area to skip. Come for the view and the architecture, don’t expect much else but overpriced wine.

We visited the winery in July of 2023, and had the best time. I would highly recommend booking far pin advance as its very hard to get a spot for a tour and tasting. We booked in the spring (approximately April) for a full experience tour and tasting + lunch. The architecture is truly amazing, and almost transports you to another world. You arrive underneath the famous staircase, and then make your way up to the main lobby where you meet your guide and begin your tour. The full tour is about 1.5 - 2 hours where you get to see the different areas of the winery. The place is meticulously clean and well maintained, and the guides are knowledgeable and kind. After the tour, we were able to experience a small group tasting in one of their beautiful tasting rooms. We then made our way to the roof to have lunch (+ more wine) and their garden terrace restaurant. The food was delicious, and they were very generous with the wine at lunch! I would highly recommend booking the first time slot of the day - we arrived at 10 am and toured with a group of approximately 10 people which allowed us to do our tasting in the beautiful small room overlooking the wine barrels. Other groups later in the day seemed to have double the amount of people included, so the wine tasting happened as more of a standing cocktail table affair, which wouldn’t have provided the same experience.

One of the best winery in the world. It’s quite impressive. Modern architecture design that allow natural lights through. The staircase is beautiful, elegant and grand. Outside there are variety of grape plants around the winery. You need to book both the wine tour and restaurant months in advance.

The experience was so good, until finally I found myself stuck on the roof finding the way out as they always need to close the spiral steps for maintenance. WARNING. Please read this before going to your wine tasting experience. After a lovely visit last fall, me and my girlfriend returned once again. And this time with a friends couple. We booked the experience around 4 weeks ahead to secure our spots on the 1st of August. Simone, which is in charge of the experience, confirmed our booking as the attached screenshot shows. After an hour and a half in Uber we finally arrived at the beautiful spot, there was only one problem. The place was closed. Our Uber had already left, and without Uber/taxi or any other transportation in the area, we were literally stuck in nowhere. Lucky a woman came out of the house, but the mood turned quickly for the worse when we said that we where here for the wine tasting experience this evening. There were no wine tasting the evening. It was reschedule for the next day, but they forgot to inform us. That was unfortunate as we were leaving the city next morning, and had no chance to attend. And as our driver couldn’t return until the original schedule time to get us back to the city in the evening, we were stuck. As we had already used 100€ to get here, we thought it was fair that they at least covered the expenses to get us back. But that was not an alternative. Accordingly to the host this was our fault, and we were on our own. According to Simone, her is why - “We booked to early in advance it was said.” 4 weeks is too early? How is that even a thing - “We did not pay the deposit it was said.” We would have if there was ever mentioned, which it wasn’t. - “We did not call on beforehand.” Actually we did, but no one answered the phone. However, we never got any information about this. Eventually we got 4 bus tickets to get us back to Florence, but there was a problem: the bus stop is 20 minutes away by car. Luckily one of the staffs eventually agreed to drive us to the bus station in the end. I understand that even professionals can mess up a schedule appointment, but if so you should handle the situation as an professional. In a polite and solution oriented way, not in aggressive way and blaming the customer. We were met with extreme cruelty and blame. We spent 4 hours of our last day getting to and back, with absolutely no food or kindness from the host. I’m looking forward reading the answer from the host, because how can this be explained away in any way.

My husband and I had the most amazing trip to Tenuta del Palagio last week! The wine tour started with an in-depth class on wine and the wine making process and was followed by a 5 course meal which included several delicious cheeses and preserves, bruschetta with different spreads, lemon AND truffle olive oil made at the winery, a large plate of different meats, ravioli with pesto, a few slices of roasted pork with roasted potatoes, and tiramisu. All of it was INCREDIBLE! This meal was served with 10 different wines and at the end we got to try their grappa and limoncello. We bought so many bottles of wine, limoncello, and grappa to take home - they were all so wonderful. Simone and Manuela were both so extremely helpful in assisting us with transportation from the historic district and very communicative during the booking process. You can tell they are passionate about their craft! I definitely recommend this for couples, families, and any large group looking to have a relaxing and fun time in Tuscany! Grazie to Manuela and Simone for hosting us!

Just the most amazing wine tasting for a very reasonable price (if you just taste, not buy) for 5€ - 3 wines and 8€ - 5 wines. Owned by the family for decades - super friendly. If we could rate 6 stars we would.

The owners are amazing they knew everything about there wines, high quality..Also is was very kid friendly my kids got to run around during our wine tour. We did a wine tasting and light lunch in the garden. It was the nicest wine tasting we have ever done with superb surroundings in the Tuscan Hills. Simone was extremely informative and very knowledgeable

My husband and I were first introduced to the winery on our honeymoon and have fallen in love with it. We visited once again in December and did another wine tasting with a light lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Pairing their Chianti with pecorino cheese and their red pepper jam is an absolute must! We love the wine (and jam & olive oil) and will continue to have it shipped to us in the U.S.

Very nice location with a large garden. Waiters are nice and welcoming. Food selection is very good with a lot of choices from the area (meat is a must). We had 2 main dishes, different cuts of meat, one with porcini mushrooms and one with truffles. Of course everything matched with a good bottle of wine. Of course eating in a big garden with a lot of trees there is a "natural background noise" of balm crickets ... but this is part of the location.

My favorite place in the world, I must say that it's everything that is expected and much more! The place filled all my expectations, the people were very friendly and attentive. It is not expensive, and the walk through the trees to get to the place already tells you that it will be magical! I cannot wait to return again!!

We were part of a group on a guided tour of Tuscany. We visited Machiavelli late in the afternoon and evening. Received an interesting tour of its wine-making facility, a tour of the villa (including the room where Machiavelli wrote "The Prince") and then had a delicious dinner. During dinner, we were serenaded by two different male pairs who sang and played beautiful Italian songs.

We came here with a travelling tour. We went down to the cellars and were given a history tour of the vineyards. We were seated to great meals and plenty of entertainment and wines throughout the night. Well, worth a great night out. Me and hubby were from Australia amongst our tour party of 37, and they were from the U.S . We had a great night.

Parking is across the street, there is a secret tunnel that was discovered in 1996 for the villa to the albergacio. We returned several times to dine.

Wow, what a gorgeous one of a kind place to visit for a half of day. The history of all the buildings, restaurant, tavern and wine cellar are astonishing! Hard to believe such hard detailed work happened that long ago. I read about this place before our trip to Italy and was so excited too go!! Their website didn't show many details for hours of operation or anything. We showed up around 1 and were greeted by a friendly but rushed guy. He said they were done serving food but we could pay the fee and look around. I came to taste wine, have a nice lunch & try the blue champagne that is talked about. We paid and I told him I wanted to taste some wines at least, he only asked white or red. And I wanted some cheese with it. He brought it but then we wanted a second glass and it took forever. So not the best service. We enjoyed looking around and seeing the history but I kept wondering where is the famous blue champagne we never got offered. Well we were leaving and I mentioned it to someone and he was hustling and talking little 5 with someone about it and 10 minutes later we had a glass. A good but odd experience

Beautiful place. Was brought here with a group and seemed like there could be many different experiences in many cool seating areas depending on what you pay for. We were put in a basic room with lots of tables. There was a guitar player and a woman singing to us. Food was decent and wine was okay. My experience felt very touristy and manufactured, but it wasn't horrible. For being in such a historical place, a tour would have been nice rather than a quick walk through the wine cellar and then corralled into dinner.

Hard to find where to actually eat and the servers but the experience, view and food were amazing.

This was a great experience. Great service and some of the best Chianti and other wines and the many course dinner and dessert will be a memorable experience celebrated with most of our tour group.

I did a wine and olive oil tasting and could no recommend this place more. Benedetta was a very gracious host, and their products are absolutely amazing.

Honestly, a much better experience than any of the larger wineries in the area that you might see advertised. The wines themselves were our favorites of all the wineries we tried and Bernadetta was an exceptional host. She strikes a perfect balance between being available and informative, and letting you have your own wine tasting at your own pace. This is a small, family owned winery whose wines you most likely will not be able to find back home, so I would strongly advise a visit here. A highlight of our trip for sure!

I have just one word for the experience: remarkable! Wonderful see how this family business make their wine. There are lot of passion and caring on it. The wine tasting is great and very honest about pricing. Worth each cent. The bruschettas and sauces are a unexpected surprise as well. Make sure to ask for information about the vino santo. We ve taken a bottle home and I am really excited to drink it at home. In short, I just want to thank the owners and staff for this well thought experience.

Lovely hill top location overlooking the vineyards and olive groves . We were staying near by and stopped for a taste of some Rose , and a to relax as the sun was going down . We will likely be back to sample some more before we leave ! Hothouse wine , friendly staff and lovely scenery !

We went on a cold and windy day and it was perfect because we were the only ones there. The tour was insightful and thorough and the wine tasting was very generous! We did the 4 wine with 2 olive oil tasting and ended up sending 4 bottles of the reserve wine and 2 evoo back home.

We chose this winery based on the reviews and we were very pleased with it. In a typical tuscany environment we were welcomed by a very kind host. She offered us an excellent wine and olive oil tasting. Really enjoyed it. We left with some bottles of chianti and olive oil not to mention some new information about the chianti wine region and the story of the "gallo nero". Highly recommended place to visit.

Loved the wine, scenery, and our tour guide! We learned so much about wine grown and made in that region and we’re able to visit during a slow time so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Also were entertained by a super cute dog!

Unique experience with a pleasant atmosphere! It felt as if we were welcomed into an old friend's home. Near Florence, we reached the the winery by bicycle (not easy per-se). Furthermore the wine was very good. I definitely recommend stopping there for a wine tasting.
