The outside area with armored vehicles from WW2 is worth seeing for anyone interested. Exposition is okay I guess, but style of it is old and boring take on the subject, some innovations would be great. Best part was texts in lower floor. Right now (summer 2020) there is also interactive exhibition, which was interesting, but short. I would like to see more of that.

Too many props and not enough detailed information about the uprising itself. They should add some personal stories from that time or just provide more info on the people involved

We quite enjoyed this museum, was quite small but informative. Unfortunately you do have to pay to take pics and video. There are the planes and tanks that you can explore also a lot weapons used in the uprising too. A few hours would be plenty of time to explore the museum.

Really glad we found this museum. The outdoor war machines are great to stroll around. The museum itself is quite small but well organised with a great collection of guns and clothes to peruse. Most but not all information is in English. We did not use the audio guide which we thought was quite expensive. Also really dislike when museums charge a photography fee (photos we take that can promote the museum!)We came on a Sunday and fortunately it was a half price day for some reason. My recommendation for the museum would be to share more specific stories of the uprising that would bring it to life more.

Very nicely done museum on the Slovak National Uprising, with various exhibits on Nazism and how the Slovake decided to rise up against the collaborators and occupiers. Musuem is pretty inexpensive to enter and has a little bookshop. Couple floors with guns, stories and uniforms. Very well done museum. Definitely worth visiting. No dogs allowed. Right in city center.

The Museum SNP is divided into two parts, the open air fixed displays are a bit older and show their age however the payed interior main museum is new, clean and interactive. The Slovak peoples history fighting fascism throughout WWII is very important and should never be forgotten.

Lovely museum, covering all aspects of the Czech contribution in ww2, from the partisans to those who joined foreign legions such as the commonwealth army and red army. I am not fan of shopping centre , but this one is almost the only one in the Banská Bystrica and I was super glad, that we have it. I could spent here time after a school when outside was too cold/hot. Option to go to the cinema and buy everything what I needed.
