The Ulm Minster⛪ is wonderful, when you enter it you dive into another world🌍 The Münster⛪ is a church built in the Gothic style. It is the largest evangelical church in Germany. The 161.53 meter high tower completed in 1890 is the highest church tower in the world🌍. As it is a must visit if you are in Germany. And sorry for late post reviewing 😅 in 2 days I will post another one 👍☺️

If you are ever in Ulm, or passing by with a few hours for your next train connection, and if you like Gothic style buildings, you need to see this very interesting church building. If you like taking bird’s eye views, this place will interest you, but be aware, there are many steps to climb up if you want to take great pictures of the town from above. Likewise, it will take you time to get back down. The inside of the building is also marvellous with great designs and centuries old architecture. This place is close walking distance from the Ulm Hbf train station and I would recommend a tour visit and if you can, go up to the maximum point where you can take unobstructed photos.

Ulm Münster left me speechless! The cathedral's size and beauty are awe-inspiring, and the panoramic views from the top of the tower are breathtaking. Knowledgeable guides added depth to the experience. A must-visit for its beauty and historical significance!

Tallest Church in the world! Lovely Gothic styled Luthern church in the Center of Ulm City. Gives a real feel of the Middle Ages. Go in for €5 without a tour. You can also make it 70 meters onto the towers via 320 stairs. Awesome place.

Amazing place because of the architecture and also the energy vibe in there. I recommend you to climb to the top and get a great view. I went on the morning and it was not busy. At the top you can find a small museum when they show you some pictures and paintings from other cathedrals. You can also see the big bells 🔔, just be careful they don’t scare you will you’re climbing.

Magnificent cathedral! The gothic aspiration up to the sky is impressive. Stone lace, sculptures, ancient frescoes, paintings are simply magnificent. But the greatest impression is made by going up to the observation deck of the highest bell tower in Europe. The price is not big, 5 euros. But while you climb to the top, you will curse yourself for your blissful curiosity!😄Descent from the bell tower is another adventure!

Tallest church of Germany. The entry is free. You can get a ticket to do stairs to reach the top of it. If you are into history, it provides a lot of great stories. The interior is filled with biblical stories. Nearby there are restaurants and open spaces where you can relax.

A beautiful old chapel. Definitely worth going to see. It has the most beautiful stained glass windows. Was in such a pretty setting over Christmas with the Christmas market and all the lights and decorations.

We visited this church during the Christmas markets. What a beautiful setting. The church is the tallest in the world (it is actually not a cathedral). It is stunning inside and outside. We really enjoyed our visit. Massive in size. Stunning in beauty. It is free to enter.

Well we went to meet our friend who lives here during christmas and the sight of this church itself is wonderful. It shows calibre of the architect and workers as well. You can find the entire history of when and how was it built. Beautiful both inside and outside. Also you can buy ticket to go until 70m height. Its worth watching the view.

Great church. A piece of art. Quite some parts are still under reconstruction. Be prepared to spend some time wondering around and enjoying many wonderful details.

So beautiful! Couldn't climb to the top as we were very tired but the inside was breathtaking! Definitely go during the Christmas market because it made the experience magical!

Be carefully at the moment you can reach only the first level of the tower, and for 7 euros,quite expensive. View is quite nice, but not a lot to see once you reached the "top".

Antique building and best building in the nearest 100m, not including the the Münster. The mayor is sitting here so I'd give 4.9 stars.

beautiful building, colourful with paintings from medieval ages, golden stripes and red bricks. but the interior is not open to the tourist as a sort of exhibition.

Gorgeous ancient building

No visitor misses the 3 most important hotspots of Ulm - the Münster, the "Schiefe Haus" and the very special "Rathaus" with its colorful paintings and details. Almoust like a huge history book, these paintings, writings and coat of arms tell a lot about Ulm's past - if you have the time, join one of the guided tours. The active townhall interior is nice, but renovated - the storytelling outside and especially the huge and complex astronomical clock is worth the visit on the way down to the Danube or Fischerviertel.

We visited Ulm and the Rathaus stood up nicely as we got to the town from the car park. It’s really impressive with nice paintings and a very unique architecture. An old building that seems new and different. You should really see it if you visit Ulm

Nicest city hall I've ever seen

This place is special. The floors are angled crazily. Apparently it was in the Guinness book of records back in the 90s when it was renovated into a hotel. For the convenience of the location and its special unique character you do have to sacrifice a bit of comfort. We stayed in the room on the very top floor. It took 4 steep flights of stairs to get to our beds. The shower over the bath was a bit awkward. But for us it was well worth it. Beds were comfortable. The decor is a bit dated (90s chique all the way) but everything is in very good condition. Special mention of the excellent breakfast. The service was also fantastic. Thanks!

it is an old building from the 1500's where it was slowly moved to the nearby water, at the 1800's some concrete foundations gave it the holding system and it is holding till now. serves as an Hotel with the old bavarian style.

An adorable hotel with a lot of charm! The rooms are rustic and the staff were friendly in English as well as German. The traditional German breakfast was a great way to start the day in such a unique place!

Highly recommended to stay here and get amazed how this hotel has been built and still standing.

Absolutely fantastic experience. This was one of the most memorable hotel stays I've ever had in my life. How many times can you stay in a high quality hotel that's over 600 years old? The rooms are very comfortable, and super clean. Our room had a 42 cm drop from one side to the other - it was great fun. PS - the complimentary breakfast buffet was really outstanding: freshly prepared items along with high quality breads, meats, cheeses. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful I'm already looking forward to my return visit

I don't know how the inside is, but the outside is baut awesome. It looks like one of those medieval houses, really Code. I'd love to stay there.

This was the second time I stayed here. It Is an absolute stunning, cosy and romantic place. But also the staff is fantastic. They are very polite and do everything possible to make ones stay as pleasant as possible. The room and bathroom was spotless clean. The breakfast buffet (included) was freshly prepared with a variety of bread and buns, jams, honey, cold meat, cheese, eggs to your liking, salmon. Can't ask for more. A stay is definitely value for money. Thank you Ms Wolf and team for all your efforts and hospitality. Merry Christmas .

This is a unique place to stay - unlike any other. I've stayed there many times but the decor and bedding is getting a little tired. The staff are great but be prepared for some issues associated with the building. The rooms on the top floor in particular are squeezed in under the eves. This means anyone other a small child cannot stand up in the bath to have a shower. It is very difficult to even get into these odd-shaped baths - so if you are not supple, don't even think about it. Getting your luggage up the steep staircases can also be a problem. The bedding and pillows, unlike every other hotel I've stayed in Germany, are not those 'light-as-a-feather plump duvets' but are rather heavy, thin, cheap-type duvets. I was cold. The main pillow appears to be lumpy foam and the small additional pillow feels as though it is filled with ballast!

Beautiful library that is well worth seeing but the museum is unimpressive. $5.5 entry fee per adult. Plan 30minutes to enjoy the library. If you are in Ulm it is worth the short detour but I would not drive a distance to visit.

The visit to the church is free of cost but the library hall is 5.5 euros. Please visit the library hall only if your a architecture lover else it’s thumbs down from my side

The library and the Lego room are really the only worthwhile sights, but they're both pretty great. Listen to the full audio guide, it's quite interesting. If you don't like audio guides though, save yourself the trouble

The sheer beauty of the abbey and library cannot be described in words. When driving from Neuschwanstein to Ulm, spare an hour to visit this beautiful place. We paid 13 euros for a family ticket.

Wonderful old art. The museum is nice and the Bibliothek is majestic, maybe a little smaller than in the Photos but even so. The painting is something else and the architecture is beautiful

Wowwww….. I am so impressed about the library. We went to Ulm and thought the Abbey is a good idea for a rainy weather. The abbey is nice but the library is really beautiful. At first we were not sure if it worth the ticket price for 5.50€, but surely it does! The library is not as big as in Melk but still very, very beautiful and worth a visit.

This place is wonderful to visit. The church is very unremarkable from the outside but very beautiful inside. The library is breathtaking with all the details to look at. The audioguide that comes with the ticket is very informative. Entry is €5 or €8 if you want to take pictures, which is hard to not want to. Definitely visit if you are in the area.

Kloster Wiblingen, Ulm. - WIBLINGEN MONASTERY. Very well maintained monastery an original Benedictine abbey located in the southern part of Ulm, which dates back to 1093. Huge grounds and courtyards around the monastery provide many concerts and other events throughout the year. Well worth a visit.

The library is mesmerising, we could have spent hours in there just taking it in. Every inch of it is beautiful. We got an English audio tour of the museum before going into the library. We then went into the Abbey which was equally beautiful. Free parking for our motorhome was bonus.

Well-curated, intuitive layout, fascinating facts. I spent 3 hours and didn’t even get to the top floor. Worth every euro. Staff was friendly and kind. I would go back without hesitation.

Love this place. Interactive, unique and fabulous art. As a teacher I would love to bring my class. Bonus Egyptian pieces too. The young lady on the paydesk was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

A fascinating museum on Bread and food. A limited amount in English, but enough.

Very well done. Good for an hour and a half. Check out this museum to see why the invention of bread is a big deal.

Had no idea what to expect but we ended up spending 3 hours here and could have spent another hour. It is a fantastic museum that covers a diverse range of topics surrounding the historical importance of bread in religion, life, art, science, society, commerce, etc. There are several interactive stations that were engaging and educational. The top floor has an excellent short film selection as well. Kids would also have a good time here as they have an audio guide tour and topics specific for them. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Ulm!

Had no idea what a bread and art museum could possibly be. It was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. Highlighted the importance of grain and sustainability and hunger. Wonderful art work and displays in an amazing building. Highly recommend.

A small privately run museum over 3 floors. All about bread, looking at it from many perspectives, not just as a source of nourishment. It has an excellent audio guide in English, French or German ( possibly other languages too). Separate audio guides for children. Some interactive exhibits. They also run lots of workshops, apparently. They are holding a festival next week, which I’d love to attend. We were told they will be closing down for 6 months to reorganize until May 2019 soon. We spent 2.5hours in the museum and completely lost track of time there. It exceeded our expectations and we‘ll definitely come back in 2019 for a workshop and to see the new set up.

lovely staff & interesting collection, a great mixture of historic and recent art with objects explaining the history of bread, baking and milling in an old rennovated warehouse in ulm.

I went with no expectations at all, and as a half-joke (I did not know what to visit in Ulm!), and it turned out to be impressively informative and interesting, reminding me of the historical importance of bread. 10/10 I went in as a joke and ended up pretty satisfied.

An interesting museum, which introduced lots of economic, historical, political knowledge with bread, a very basic daily necessity of life.
