Bee waterfalls, so named on account of a large number of bee hives ever present in the mountain rocks, crevices and ledges. Source of water supply to Panchmarhi. Flowing water is available in all seasons. One has to descend a large number of steps of uneven height to reach to the bottom of the falls. Returning back to the top by the same steps requires more effort. Persons lacking walking practice and those with medical conditions as well as senior citizens are advised not to attempt this trip. Along the way to the falls are sightseeing spots and a flowing water stream. Beware of langoors.

Bee 🐝 Fall is amongst the must visit places in Pachmarhi. To reach bee Fall around 700m-1km trekking is there. Including 300-400 steps. But it's worth to give this much efforts. Coz once you reach over there you'll feel that it's worth it. Vibes are amazing. Try to visit this place in monsoon especially in Shravan Maas. You cannot go there by your own vehicle. Gypsy is required. If you want to visit bee Fall you must hire a 4x4 gypsy. Roads are very hedious. From the gate to bee Fall point it's 3.5km walk, so hire gypsy. Apart you'd need receipt from MP forest / tourism department 🏬 to enter the spot. Which is 610 bucks.

The Bee fall is an amazing place to visit in Pachmarhi. The name is given as bee falls due to the stinging effect it creates when one stands beneth the falls. The earlier name of bee falls was Jamna prapat as per the name of a local tribal lady who found it first. To reach the actual falls one has to cross 450+ odd stairs each step of the stairs being quite higher than normal. One can stand on a bit quieter part of the mini falls which is just few steps down and get a fish spa on the foot.

To visit you first have to take a permissions and ticket from Bison Lodge along with a guide and GPSy. You need to Physically strong as there is around 400 stairs you need to steps go down and same to come back . You can take bath here but Be aware from Monkeys. Suggestion for the elderly and person with joint problems not too goo down but don't worry, the view from above is also very nice where you can experience natural pedicure with Little Fishes in water.

For viewing the fall one has to go deep down the forest. Though steps are there but it is a difficult terrain to visit.BP , Cardiac, Diabetes patients find it difficult to go down. Though I was a Diabetes patient I went down all the 400 plus steps.Gowing down was not that extraneous but for coming up I had to struggle hard but managed to come back on top after visiting the fall. But my wife couldn't go down and she had to wait until we all returned. Anyway it was a good adventure going down. Must visit for youngsters and those who can manage to go down.

It's in Reserved forest area so it's under forest department and they provide you a local guider also and firstly go to museum and take a jeepsy and ticket 🎫 pass and now you are ready to move for all waterfalls with one pass only .

You'll get tired till you reach the waterfall. You'll have to walk for around half a km. The place is good for photography. You can take a bath here and have some drops of freshwater coming from the rock. Note: Please keep your feet tight inside the fall. The rocks can be slippery and you may get injured. Don't keep your phones in the pocket, you never know when the water quantity will increase.

Nice fall. Perfect place to take dip in chilled water during summer. Changing rooms bathroom is available here. If you are going there on two vehicle then you have to park it at ticket check gate and then you have to walk 3 km to reach fall. So it's better to take jypsy.

Would have given it 5 stars 🌟 if the crowd was not there. But its worth the visit. The toll on your body gets vaporized as soon as you reach the bottom. You can also get a better view away from the crowd if you go a little further. Not adding the pic of the main waterfall as you will see those in the other reviews.

One of the best waterfalls in Pachmarhi. Bee Falls is situated on Route 1,3,4 of The Jungle Safari. The name is derived from honeybees. Many years back honeybees used to live here and hence the name came from there. Bee Fall has nearly 360 steps down. You will need to walk on your own. The steps are heavy and it will take you courage to reach the downwards parts of the bee fall. You can also bath there. But be very careful as it has big rocks and slippery surfaces. Few kilometres from Pachmadhi, this is an amazing place with abundance of nature. It's a natural water fall oozing out of rocks. But you have to go down and climb back nearly four hundred steps ! You need a permit from the forest department as this fall is in the core area.

Bees waterfall is a great place to visit. There are around 400 steps you need to descend to reach the place. Not recommended for people with joint pains as it is a bit of stress. For such people you can enjoy the mini waterfall which is around 50-60 steps on the way to bees waterfall. It can get crowded depending on the day you visit. Hi friends, This is a elaborated text When you reach panchmarhi, you have to take a Jypsy for this place which can be booked in advance previous day online or in byson lodge museum and in the same day morning too Be on the queue at 8 so you will get the ticket early and you can start early, There are 6 route which contains various places Most beautiful among them i found was b falls which Jypsy will take you in the first time have clothes so you can enjoy the water and after lunch second time I found beautiful, reechgarh,aramyakund(driver took extra point)and was quite beautiful and third place sunset at dhoopgarh In April it didn't feel like hill station yeah after 6pm you will find the weather was pleasant otherwise it was just bearable hot. One thing more if you want to go place name mahadev. Please go in the morning. Because it takes 3.5 km ... Height straight and will take 3 hours up and down (personal vehicle can be taken) and rented bikes are available there.

A must visit place if you're in Pachhmari. It's at the height of 4420ft from the sea level. The views from here are mesmerizing. You don't need to climb here, the safari vehicle (you have to book it from Bison lodge) will take you to the top and then you can roam around and have some pictures. While going up, you'll find an echo point where you can scream your name and in return you'll hear the same echo. Overall it's worth visiting. Note: People generally come here in the evening but I suggest you to cover this spot during the day itself (If you need to leave at the evening time for your home). Because, the rush in the evening is very high. Sunset, you can cover in the Pandav Caves. (Ask your driver for more information)

Make sure you will take a guide the charges of guide was just 50 Rs at mine time that was so minimalist I must say. Really weird and powerful herbs, onion, junglee lehsun you will see here in shops. However, as we descended down the stairs (and yes, there are many!), the temperature dropped, and a serene calmness filled the atmosphere. Jatashankar Mahadev Temple is the most beautiful place in Panchmarhi, even though one has to walk two kilometers to get there. Lord Shankar used to do penance at that place to avoid Bhasmasura and while leaving there, Lord Shankar cut his jata and kept it there. That's why this place is known as Jatashankar.

The intricate carvings on the walls and pillars of the temple were truly stunning and added to the overall aesthetic beauty of the temple. The temple was well-maintained and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The peaceful ambiance and positive energy of the temple made for a truly spiritual and uplifting experience.

This temple is unique as its carved out of a cave and there are huge steps that you need to climb down to reach the shivling. In some areas, one must crouch and take pradakshina or reach the shivling. The whole experience was amazing. The best part of this temple are its surroundings which is full of trees, caves and huge rock cut patterns. It's best to visit this place in rainy or winters. Also for elderly people with knee or leg pain, it will be difficult to climb downstairs as currently there isn't any lift or other facility available.

This is probably one of best places I visited in Pachmarhi. The cave temple below is beautiful and the temperature there is faaar less than the town. The steps to reach to the bottom of the cave making it approachable for most people.

Jatashankar (also Jata Shankar) is a natural cave and Hindu shrine located north of Pachmarhi, in Madhya Pradesh, India. Jatashankar is located in a deep ravine with enormous boulders perched above. The cave contains stalagmites which are revered as naturally formed lingams. The cave serves as a shrine to the God Shiva and is a popular destination for pilgrims. Jata means hair and Shankar is another name of Lord Shiva. There are two ponds fed by springs found in the locality, one of cold water and the other one of hot water. The cave structure resembles to a hundred head snake named Sheshnag a mythological character. It’s located in Pachmarhi MP . It’s a holy place to worship lord Shiva. It’s all surrounded by rocks and mountains. Very natural beauty that amazes and mesmerised. This temple is open in the sunrise and closed with sun set. To reach Baba Bholenath temple you will have to walk lots of steps maybe 500 to 600. There you get Hurbal medicines like very huge onion, and many hurbs ,oils, Hurbal powder etc available here for the care of many decease. Those people are love to nature and their beauty must visit this temple and pachmarhi. Worth visiting place.

It's a decent place. However, some locals say that the legend behind these caves is a hoax and Pandavas never really came here. Anyway, the caves are gated and you can't go inside which makes this spot not much worthy for visiting. However, the environment is picture perfect and you could get some great clicks. Some adventure activities are also there outside the premises like motorbiking and horse riding.

Hill top caves in Pachmarhi supposed to be built by Pandav brothers during their vanwas period. Nice place in Pachmarhi town to spend some time. Though the steps are bit high, but the climb is manageable and worth giving a try. Gives a panoramic view from the top. Nice garden at the foot hill.

One of the great spots in Pachmarhi. You can visit this spot for free with your own vehicle. Plenty of parking available. The history says that there were 5 Buddhist monks who meditated at this place in 5 different caves after which the name of 'Pandav' came into existence. Caves carved out in a hill, most of them barricaded, known as Pandava Caves; Legend has it that the Pandavas during their Agyatvaas had resided here for a period. Panchmarhi gets its name from these. At the top of the hill is a sightseeing spot, from where most of the town is visible. At the foot of the hill is a beautiful and well-maintained park, from where the entrance to the caves is made. Outside the park are local eateries and kid games.

Places visited: Pandav caves, Bada mahadev, gupt mahadev & priyadarshini point. Loved every bit of it, we went from Nagpur to Panchmarhi and the drive itself was extremely soothing, MP is indeed one of the best kept treasures of our country, it has loads and loads to offer, the landscapes change with every 40kms! Although we couldn't cover all of it as it was a very short trip, but it was worth visiting.

The place is nice. You have to climb upwards. There are natural stairs and some man made stairs to to go upwards. But better be careful while climbing up as some stairs do not have the shape of stepping onto it. They are slippery. If going in monsoon, try to wear good rigid gripping shoes. As for the Caves, they are now locked & will be locked for tourists as previously people had made scribblings designs and what not to the historical monument. After that, the caves has been completely closed for tourists. You can only go and see caves from outside and take pictures. The view from above is excellent. The cool breeze of air is constantly coming from all directions to make you feel so light. Spend at half n hour up there as you'll have plenty of things n views to cherish. Good view, good air. The

I visited there with my office colleagues during our training programme. It was a very humid day and along with the heavy rain in no time. But it was amazing feeling with the friends. Some history about the Panch Pandav Caves ... The Pandava Caves are a group of five caves in a small hillock in Pachmarhi. It is believed that the Pandavas during their period of exile took shelter in these caves. The caves are small in size. The one which is comparatively bigger with enough air circulation is called Draupathi Kuti or Cave. The most congested and dark cave is called Bhima Kothari or Cave.

Overall a good sightseeing and experience near to hotels and market place. Views are amazing once you reach at the top. Stairs are bit risky make sure to wear good grip footwears outside there is well maintained garden with huge cactus plants and out side the gate you can find scooter and motor rides, ATV rides, Tea, cold drinks and snacks stall. There is no entry fees and you can also find local guides in case you need guidance to learn about its importance and history. It's open all 7 days. Make sure to visit before sunset to enjoy the best sunset view.

Well, what better than to go live in a forest? As they crossed the region of Pachmarhi, they found a suitable place and carved out these caves. It is believed that the Pandavas stayed here for 13 years. Apparently, the cave that was supposed to have been built by Bhim, is also the darkest of them all. The Buddhist angle As per some sources, these caves were carved by the travelling Buddhist monks or the Bhikshus. These caves served as both shelter and places to do meditation. This was somewhere between the ninth and the tenth century AD.

A bit tough upright stairs for this view point..which is very well maintained and safety measures are taken care.. surrounding garden from entey gate is also nicely preserved, curated.. Still some basic cleanliness issues and sensible behaviour from visiting people are expected to add on to efforts of govt.authorities..

We covered this place at the last of our Pachhmari trip. After covering Dhoop Gadh first during the day time we thought that we have missed the Sunset but luckily we got it. If you climb to the top of Pandav Caves, you'll get to see nice sunset here. A really nice place for sunset photography. It's our national heritage made by Pandavas. The place is well maintained. Important Note: People who reach the top leave their plastic bottles and wafer packets there and create litters. I suggest if you're visiting here, don't do this, if you have something to throw (like bottle, plastic bag etc), you'll get dustbin while climbing down 👇. After all, keeping our national heritage clean is our responsibility first.

Caves carved by Jain and Buddista monks. Nothing to do with Pandavas. They never visited this place. Most of the caves are closed. You can have beautiful view from top of hill. Beautiful garden always blooming with roses/Jasmine etc.Under the administration of contonment board.

It's a good place to visit, pandav caves, a little bit of climb through stairs, a beautiful adjacent garden and good view from the top. Definitely a must visit place.

Pandav caves is located in Pachmarhi. It's a historical place where pandav came out from caves when they were locked in a palace. You can enjoy a good view from here and there are some spots where you can take good photographs. You can cover this spot in an hour and then move on to other tourist places nearby. Make sure to visit this place before 4:00 PM as it gets closed by 5:00 PM. You can go here by your own vehicle.

Journey to this place is amazing. We have to do trekking of around 8 km to reach this place. Multiple scenic beauty in between path. At the top you will find very heavy Trishul. Wondering who and how they have bring them.

It's a beautiful temple located on top of the mountain called chauragad. Take at least 3 hours to climb and 2 hours to come back. We can have a perfect mind-blowing view from the top of the mountain..

Love it.. amazing. We reached there in less than 2 hours from the picking point of our gypsy. You need to carry a water bottle along with you for your benefits. Bcz it's a hilly route.

The view from the top, great temple of Lord Shiva is very awesome, if you are trekking lover and feel the beauty of the nature. It's a must go. There is two way to trek, in midway old trek route is there which is little short and bit narrowed , and other one is longer and Steve and wider . It's better to go with old and return with newer one . Best time to trek is July to September , do start your journey before 10 AM as it take 1:30 - 2 Hr and it got little 🔥 with 🌞, do carry raincoat or mobile holder to save you phone in intermittent rain on mountains.

The place is very beautiful but you have to walk alot to reach this place from gupt mahadev temple it is around 7 km walk from one side m the view is worth visiting . The place has it's own historical significance .

2nd highest mountain peak of Madhya Pradesh, Tough trek around 4 - 5 Km long with 1400 stairs..but when you reach the top of the hill the view mesmerizes you for sure. The trek starts from baba Mahadev and passes in between the beautiful terrain of the Satpura Tiger Reserve. When I reached the top I was surprised how this big and beautiful temple is made, and how they carry construction materials using the trek.

It is far away but it is beautiful, very attractive.the soul is satisfied.

It’s a good visit for small trek experience, this same trek route goes to chauragarh, which is 1500 steps (approx).

Amazing experience of trekking. The energy i got there was so positive and enthusiastic. I went in evening and covered whole trekk in the night, so didn't captured the views. But overall it was so good to be there.

To visit this place I am ready before a night this place was very top on a hell when you climb upper direction there is no water between some whenever you find border on road is very bad quality family please use carry water bottles 2 or 3 and you want to freshwater there is only one way on the top of hill in temple But any way it's view from hill give a peaceful hart 🙏👍
