This section of beach in Isla Verde is just as beautiful as all the others. Very quiet, never too crowded and very clean. I sit here with my wife on our beach chairs under our umbrella and watch the people walk by, and wonder what we used to worry about

This beach is obviously for surfing but kids can enjoy the seashore carefully with supervision. Sometimes waves are super dangerous. Be careful. People love to play volleyball and beach tennis. They also provide surfing lessons.

Service 10/10 Amazing hotel , the staff is awesome . Pure hospitality they even serve you drinks at the door . Just all around great service . Would recommend to anyone ! I had an amazing experience, just the atmosphere was great . Very welcoming top of the line service ! They had my ocean view room waiting for me , with a bottle of champagne and strawberries in my champagne as soon as my foot touched the concrete staff rushed me with drinks and treat me like a king . Food was a pure 10/10 they had a massive restaurant outside and it was great food Tasted perfect I had fish Tocos super fresh and full of Flavor . Pool 10/10 Especially at night :) super blue lights light up in the pool with a massive lions head water fall . Beach 10/0 It’s located right in the back of the hotel , so the beach is on your location which means you barley have to walk from your hotel to the beach . Man it was white sand warm water clear as can be . I will be back there asap .

My best friend and I always stay at The Ritz Carlton at Isla Verde. The staff is so ready to accommodate you and treat you like royalty. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff is quick with any request you have. The pool staff are ready to bring you whatever you order quickly. I was very sad when Hurricane Maria destroyed the hotel totally and it took them some years before they rebuilt it to perfection. Although there is a pandemic still in progress, I'd love to make plans to visit Puerto Rico and stay at my favorite hotel once again.❤

Staying here was amazing but the front desk agent Key I think that’s his name he lied to get a upgraded room to get more money he also was cutting deals with taxi drivers I believe he taking away from the company his customer service is bad for business I ask to speak to a manger they said it was not one on duty, food was not to great but overall The stay was great

We chose the Ritz as the base camp for our guests, for our wedding, and could not be more happy with our decision. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Exceptional pool and beach area, as well as all of the amenities you would come to expect from a Ritz Carlton. Of special note, Nashley and Marius, of Guest Services, did an incredible job at accommodating and satisfying our every request. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants the luxury and quality of a great hotel. in a good location for not only travel to the airport, but a quick taxi ride to Old San Juan.

The Ritz Carlton in carolina PR.. Is a very BEAUTIFUL hotel. Me and my family enjoyed our stay. The entire Staff was wonderful. They made you feel welcomed. I loved that the pool is open 24hrs. That made the end of the day relaxing. Because as we were out an about sight seeing all day, we had maybe an hour or 2 to be on the beach,as it closed at 8pm, and my husband an son felt like they needed more swim time so we went to the pool. I enjoyed the BEAUTY of the view of the hotel at night. I would and have already highly recommend this hotel. I hope to be able to stay here again some day.

Great beach and pool. Drinks and food are expensive and good but not amazing. The free coffee is strictly only until 8:30 am and sometimes they remove it before that time. The elevator key card system is a bit annoying. And if you ask for a late checkout be prepared for your key to not work and for an escort to possible help you get to where you need. It is nice but there are a few fixes out there.

We stayed at the Ritz for the day while waiting for our flight which was late evening. The Ritz was beautiful! The pool was well kept and the private beach was nice as well. We slept under an umbrella and enjoyed a nice lunch while there. The dessert was fantastic. The prices where high ($15 for 1 small drink) but this is to be expected at a hotel of that caliber. We enjoyed our short stay.

The hotel is really clean and the staff are nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are great and extremely clean. Even the sofa bed was good, clean and comfortable. My children and nephew had the best time and did not want to leave the resort. The breakfast was so good and although there was a crowd at the time we went, there were posters indicating the peek times, so we were prepared. However, the staff moved fast! The restaurants are amazing too. We loved the pool and cleanliness of it all.

I loved my stay here. Never had a bad experience with Hilton. Staff are always friendly and willing to help. The microwave broke down twice but the repair men were always willing to help. Great pool and view of the ocean. Not to mention its a short drive to the airport. It's also a quick walk to get there. Will be back. Keep it up Hilton.

This hotel!!! Can I just say that I changed to this hotel after having a dreadful experience at Embassy Suites in Dorado. Thank goodness that I did because it saved our family vacation. The staff, the room, the complimentary breakfast it was all amazing. Check-in was smooth and very pleasant. The room was tidy and smelled so good. The people were friendly and kind. The breakfast that morning was delicious. They have so many different breakfast options. Also, the seating was aplenty. It wasn't hard to find a table at all. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. I will be staying here again. Also, they give an option for a later check out. We were supposed to check out at 11:00 am. Our flight home didn't leave until 6:00 pm. I checked out at 4:00 pm, it was an extra 75$. Thank you, Embassy, for being understanding and letting me check out when it's time for new guests to check in.

It is in good location. The rooms are big, but old and need detailed cleaning. The breakfast and happy hour is so busy, and lot of waiting and they need to have an additional counter to reduce waiting time. The menu is so limited and never chnage and we sick and tired eating same everyday. The Valet parking option is good. And the beach is walkable and cvs is nearby.

All around great facility. Due to massive delays, our travel group arrived at different times and could not check in due to the booking being in my name and my card. The desk agent was so helpful. She was able to get us taken care of. The breakfast buffet was delightful and fully stocked. Staff was super friendly. Nice pool.

Good set up for the price. Easy walk to a good beach with free chair service. The best part was the snack bar that offered variety of hot foods plus sandwiches and drinks at great prices compared to most places on the island. Free breakfast was ok. The omelets looked good but the line was too long. 2 free happy hour drinks was a bonus.

Our room is located in the 3rd floor. Sometimes, we could hear a little bit of music and partying, but they usually stopped by midnight. The amenities, atmosphere, and location are all high-standard. We also enjoyed their free drinks and breakfast. The one night free discount saves us some money, making our stay very worthy. We would like to choose this nearly perfect place again when we revisit the beautiful island in future.

From the moment that we got to the Hotel, the valet, the workers, the person that cleans the rooms, the Restaurant workers, Pool area, very clean, beautiful areas. Atmosphere was amazing. Music playing in pool in restaurant. Would definitely rate this a 10+ place to stay. Everyone was just so very nice and attentive towards not just us but what I saw it was with everyone around. The pool area was amazing, my son loved the pool where he did not want to get out and the time for closure of pool was even better. Restaurant waiters/waitresses were very pleasant, very attentive. Food was DELICIOUS. Drinks were DELICIOUS. Overall had an awesome time. Definitely going back.

This was the best choice I ever made for a place to stay. Flawless service, professional and friendly staff and very safe environment. Room key required for the elevator, no exception - very impressive. Breakfast with MTO omelettes, tons of fresh food, yogurt and fruit. Drinks in the evening, 2 per person per evening. Everything has been fantastic.

Needed a room for the night and found this hotel. Clean hotel and rooms. Breakfast in the morning is amazing and complimentary. Staff was very pleasant. Parking is about $25 a day if you have a vehicle. Again, the valet staff was also very friendly and quick to get your vehicle. Highly recommended. The main floor has a great view with bar and tropical theme.

The room I chose when checking in on the app was not available when we arrived and the room offered had an ugly view to the parking building. The room I chose had airport view and my children were excited about this. Breakfast buffet was cold and too limited. Everything else was very good. The location is great, the evening reception had little options but was nice and everyone was friendly.

Great stay and great location. Loved the free breakfast with made to order omelets and the 2 free drinks in the evenings. We ate at the in hotel restaurant. The menu was mostly in Spanish but had pictures of the meals and the staff was very helpful in explaining the menu. My daughters loved the pool. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, CVS, and many local and fast food restaurants. We got two adjoining rooms on the top floor. They were a little dated but very big, comfortable, and clean. It had a nice casino that we didn't utilize but was very nice. It is right next to the airport which is both a positive and negative. You didn't hear any of the Air traffic inside the hotel or rooms, but was a little loud around the pool. Definitely a great trip and would stay there again.

Overall, I give this resort a 7. I enjoyed the hotel and the restaurants. The casino was nice and the pool area was nice. However, I was disappointed with the free breakfast. Here in the States, Embassy Suites provides top of the line breakfast service, which was not seen here. I don't want to be picky, but breakfast to me means bacon, which they never provided. When I asked if I could get bacon, I was told by the front desk that all I had to ask was that I was told there was none. One of the main reasons I picked this location was the breakfast, so this was big to me. Another thing that irritated me was the fact I was unable to get my room cleaned the first night. I told management, and they were able to get it cleaned the second day. I enjoyed that the hotel had everything in one spot, but I felt the service and the ambiance could have been elevated.

The service was outstanding at this location. From Alejandro at check in, to Jose R our bellman on the first day, housekeeping, breakfast staff, evening reception team, Johnny at the Patio restaurant and J.J., the bellman that assisted us at check out. They were genuinely friendly and engaging, no complaints whatsoever. Breakfast and evening drinks were great. Very clean location. The casino was fun too and we even walked away as winners 😁💵

Hotel was clean, great houskeeping service, easy check-in and out. We felt very safe there and in the surrounding area. It’s a short 0.1mile walk to the beach where they always had plenty of umbrellas and chairs for guests. The pool was well-maintained with plenty of seating. They offer a nice happy hour with generous pours and snacks. The downside is we could hear the guests in the next room and the ones above us during the night. The food at all of the restaurants was mediocre at best. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. We ate at the hotel a few times out of convenience; it definitely wasn’t for fast service or delicious meals. The casino was very small and not really worth going to. All in all it was good for the price, but if you’re looking for beach front access, good food, or quiet rooms you may decide to check elsewhere.

Amazing place, amazing meals, beautiful common areas and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was here for a week and enjoyed every day I was here. Definitely try some of their dinner plates. Well worth the wait and price. In the event you forget something during your travels, they have a small shop in the hotel or there's a CVS down the block.

Good value for the cost. Walk to the beach is quick and easy. Breakfast is basically the same every day. Evening cocktails has a good selection of drinks and hardly any snacks. Pillows are not great - the kind of soft that disappears during the night. Overall a good place to stay. I would definitely return.

Man I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Front desk clerk was very nice and explained all the options the hotel offered. It was very busy, but I didn't feel overwhelmed. Room was clean and bathroom shower had strong pressure and hot water. Daughters has a great time at the pool. Hotel is near a strip with plenty restaurants and a grocery store is also very close. About 7-8 mins to the airport.

Embassy Suites in San Juan, PR runs like a well oiled machine. We booked two rooms for 6 nights. Pros: 1. Staff at the front desk are always pleasant and available to help. Checkin process is a bit detailed but it’s not too long. They are well staffed so there’s no long lines for the front desk. 2. Rooms are clean and maintained well. We noticed a stain on one of the sheets but the front desk had the room service take care of that issue. (As in any other facility, it’s always best to check the rooms first before bringing luggage in). Room service is offered on every other day (but for some reason we gladly noticed that they did it for almost all the days we were there). 3. Overall ambiance, safety and cleanliness of the hotel is worth a special mention. 4. Breakfast at this place was better than we’ve had in other competing hotel brands. Omelettes are made to order, so we have to stand on a line for this. One thing to note is that the lines can get long if you come closer to the last hour of breakfast. They tell you that right away. The first hour of breakfast (6:30 to 7:30 AM on weekdays and 7:30 to 8:30 on weekends) has the least amount of lines and then it gets progressively longer for the next two hours. If you don’t want to order omelettes, you can skip the line and go straight to the hot buffet which includes scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. Other items include: hash browns, tater totes, sausage links, bagels, muffins etc. We noticed that all these items are well stocked and it hardly ever runs out of any item. 5. Pool: this hotel has a large beautiful pool with enough space for a lot of guests to be in at the same time. Pool is well maintained and clean. 6. Beach: although this hotel doesn’t have a beach next to it, the beach is only a few minutes walk away. You can also drive there if you don’t feel like doing the 7 minute walk but parking near the beach may be hard to find. The Embassy Suites area of the beach is marked with Orange umbrellas. These areas are better maintained than the other areas of the beach. Cons: 1. Parking is a bit expensive here. It costs about $21.50 per day to do self parking and about $25 to get valet parking. You do need to have your hotel room key, that is linked to the garage, to enter and exit the garage. While it is a good safety feature, it also becomes a bit cumbersome task since you have to place the card exactly on the spot they’ve designated for it on the machine. This process could use some improvement with a quicker machine that recognizes the hotel card. 2. Additional costs added to room charges. We noticed that in addition to the room rate we booked for per night, there is a suite tax of about $45 and a Hotel Fee of $40 per night that is added to your final bill. So keep that in mind when you book this hotel. Expect an additional $85 to be added to your room charge every night! 3. Cost. As mentioned above, the rate per room (over $300 per night and the $85 sub charges) makes this hotel a bit too pricey. 4. Elevator access: as with the car garage, you need to have your hotel card handy for accessing the elevator. That becomes hard to do if you have your hands full carrying breakfast or other things. This technology also could use some improvement. In general we would recommend this hotel.

We loved our 5-night stay at Embassy San Juan. I have typed a very thorough review below. Room: the room was huge! plenty of storage, comfy bed and couch, clean bathrooms--only thing was, there was no fan. We had housekeeping come during the day and replenish waters, toiletries, etc. Pool: LOVED the pool. Perfect temperature. The waterfall is fun to stand under as well. The pool chairs are great to lay out in the sun. Amenities: Gym was small but nice, didn't use the casino, had a small little cafe/store that had good options, fully-equipped laundry room. Breakfast: the free breakfast buffet is very good. the employees are so nice and speedy in the omelet line. Every morning had basically the same stuff but it was all delicious. Front Desk: They are awesome and explain things very thoroughly! Very kind and patient, willing to answer any and all questions. Parking: the only option is to pay for parking, but it's in a secure garage. you need a key card to get in and out, and they validate your parking when you check in. I think it was about $22/day, but it ended up being worth it as it's a short walk directly from the hotel lobby.

Really good pool but pretty sure their pool bar alcohol is not 100% real, I took 5 drinks of vodka and it was like drinking water then I changed to beers and was better. The sir schedule shows they open at 11am but the attendant said he is going to take his time to open because he was alone 🤔 so he wanted to open the bar at 11:45am. Service and politeness was one star for sure. The parking is expensive though. But the lobby and the rooms are great 🫶🏻

We enjoyed our stay at Embassy Suites. We are here for our son's wedding and the perfect place to rest before we traveled to our next destination.. We liked the breakfast and especially the evening receptions. We were made to feel welcome and the snacks were excellent. So much better than the embassy suites we are currently staying at in Dorado. With a bagged snack and having to use a ticket for a soft drink. Very cold and unwelcoming. We will certainly recommend you to friends and family. Thank you

I love that the standard room has a nice living room area. I thought it was an upgrade. The service was very nice and location is 5 to 10 min from the airport. I liked that you needed your key card to use the elevator and pool. Adds security. The private section of the beach is nice as well. It isn't super fancy but the view was nice and a short walk away. A few issues I had... you can tell that they didn't clean everything in our room when we checked in. Like mirrors or tables. Barely any outlets in our room worked. Parking is $20 a day. And breakfast is free but pretty bland. Staying there a week I was starting to get tired of the same things. On the other hand. The restaurants in the hotel were great, the casino was small but fun. The pool was beautiful, especially at night. All in all, I'd stay again

We love this hotel pre/post cruise but also just for any trips to PR. We have been coming here for 20 years and it's been a beautiful and pleasant experience every time! The food is decent, the pool area and bar are fantastic, and the location is perfect if you want to be close to the airport, cruise pier or Old San Juan. Taxis are readily available 24 hours a day, and staff are accommodating and friendly. We have even checked in early (at 8AM) after red-eyes and cruises and have never been turned away. You may not get into your room until noon, but they will hold your luggage and let you eat complimentary breakfast, swim and visit their reserved area on the beach all day with a wristband. This hotel is a luxurious, relaxing place that gets better and better every time we visit. In our experience, it is a way better value and offers better amenities than other similar hotels in the area.

I stay in hilton properties for work and usually Embassy suits great properties. Overall stay wasn’t bad but rooms in need of remodel ASAP. Old decor, smelly and didn’t felt clean enough. All our clothes smelled like mold after 3 day stay. Service in hotel was great and made our stay ok. Breakfast was basic offerings with huge lines in AM. Free drink reception was very basic as well. Pool area nice but right below highway not really relaxing. Easy 5 minutes walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants in the area. Beach chairs and umbrellas available but if you come afternoon they don’t have enough for everyone

Stayed here for 4 nights with my daughter and everything was exceptional. The pool was great and service at the bars and restaurants as well as front desk was excellent. I didn't try out the casino. Breakfast buffet was ok though I highly recommend the omelet station. The only reason I wouldn't stay here again is because I thought Puerto Rico was beautiful and I would love to check out other areas on the island.

Beautiful hotel minutes from the airport and the main drag. And by today’s standards, reasonably priced. Incredible lobby, with exposed elevators, and all the different floors visible from the entrance. Several nice restaurants and a casino as well. Professional, pleasant staff. Walking distance from the main strip, including restaurants, stores, plus the beach. Really nice place.

Nice stay, Room was spacious. Enjoyed the buffet. They have a couple different restaurants I went to the one right when you walk in and had the wings. Service was slow but food was ok. Bathroom tub could be better/ re done. The front desk people were nice and helpful for late check out also. Not far to walk to the beach.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Large, clean, and comfortable rooms. The hotel has several bars and good restaurants, no need to go out if you are tired. The pool area is very nice, but you need to walk to the beach, it's about a 5-10min walk. I would definitely stay here again.

We liked this hotel 🏨 was very convenient to go with kids. We liked the breakfast, the kids pool, and the beach near to the hotel. The friendly staff, they were nice and helpful. The restaurants have good food, local and international delights. They have a coffee shop with different option drinks and food. The hotel has a space in front of the beach exclusively to the guest with umbrellas and chairs for free 😊. If you don’t want to spend too much money for accommodation for few days of vacations go there. The rooms were like ummm. The hotel should renovate the rooms, for me are pretty old. Also very close to the airport, old san Juan, beach, restaurants, cvs and supermarket 24 hours.
