Came here for embarkation to MSC Bellissima.

Amazed at how clean the streets are no traffic yet drivers are so disciplined! Going to Kee lung is quiet a peaceful ride overlooking the peaceful sea. Lined up with large stones..and a few openings where if your driving and decide you want to stop and park your vehicle..stare and inhale seawater ..or go down maybe .for a minute .walk a bit so your feet can touch water... passingby windmills and saw eagles! mountains and passingby one way lighted tunnels..large fishing boats are docked and saw 2 very enormous ship..we went and ate in a nearby bay restaurant with a very large array of fishes..mostly deep sea fishes where you can chose and have them cook it.. the fisherfolk were good people letting us take videos and letting us touch fish and even putting sea urchins in our hands for the experience! Wonderful yet scary :) you feel its needles walking in your hand want to throw it but realize its alive and dropping it is not an option just stay still :D

When weather is good, it is a great place to have nice sea view. And it is famous harbor to see eagles. But when weather is bad, it is so cold and humid.

Night in Keelung is always dramatic. Sometimes extotic, sometimes romantic, and sometimes you fell like in a movie.

Really pretty to walk around this port city, it was raining when we did but view was gorgeous and good break from the typical city life. Recommend this and the hike to the Keelung word sign to get an even clearer panoramic view of the city

Nice seaside park to visit in about an hour time. They also have seaside saltwater swimming pool if you want to dip in for a cost. Otherwise the visit around the park for us locals were free of charge. The beautiful scenery is nice on a sunny day. It was nice overall. Avoid the weekend at all cost.

I love this place; I go almost every weekend to swim. It gets a bit crowded for regular laps when the weather is nice, but there are so few places near Taipei where you can actually swim in the ocean. The water in the basins comes from the ocean (so not a chlorinated pool) and there are quite a few fish. The bottom of the big basin consists of sand, natural rock and ocean plants. The rest of the island is small, but charming. The rocks formations may not be as grand as Yehliu, but the scenery is lovely, and the location is very accessible for Taipei residents without a car or scooter. There are facilities for swimmers...lockers, hot showers, blow dryers, clothing spinners for wet swim suits, etc. Everything costs, but the costs are reasonable. The gift shop workers are knowledgeable and really try to use English.

Overall, I did have nice experience with the nature’s scenery. For the weekday, there’s no wait for the entrance. However, I wish I could have brought swimming suit with me since the natural pool looks so nice!

Can stroll around for a whole day with friends and family. Small place for a hike. Beautiful views from all around. Went there in the coldest time of the winter, so unfortunately couldn't enjoy the swimming facility over there. Can certainly visit at least once with family and friends.

It is a beautiful place to view the ocean and some natural wonders. I think it will be very popular in summer for swimming! Imagine swimming with these fishes in clear ocean water just next to the sea! The place educates on the current trash situation and if you see hard enough, theres some trash around on these natural wonders.

It’s a pretty big park with amazing rock formation area. The high light is definitely the hike. Views are breathtaking. There is also sea water swimming pool. Although it’s not a nice design. There are some restaurant, cafe and bar with seatings.

Its good for a few hours trip if you are nearby. Its interesting that you can snorkel in the outdoor pool and swim with the fishes. 🏊‍♀️🐠 And there is a small souvenir shop which has some interesting gifts to bring back from small business owners, though can be quite pricey. You can take bus 101 across Keelung station and alight at the end (its a round trip bus). 🚌 Students can show their student pass for discounted price, works with my foreign student ID.

Entrance fee of 120NTD for adult. You can see the nature beauty of the rock formation. Amazing how this rocks was sculpted by the waves. There is a place you can swim and eat inside but wasn't able to try. Overall a good quick stop. Able to walk around the place in less than an hour.

Very beautiful spot in taiwan. We went there in the morning, the weather was not that great but fortunately the rain stopped after some time. The wind was really crazy which caused the waves to be even more high than usual. It looked incredible! The power of the water could be felt on the walking paths, it really was amazing.

Fewer tourists than Yehliu. Actually had a better experience here with several nice stones and overall great for sightseeing too. There are small caravan cabins and even a swimming pool to play in. Come during July to September and you get to explore Alababay as well which looked promising. The gift shop is well designed and very appealing. Would recommend coming

The best part of the park was not accessible -- out of season. The rest of the park can be seen in an hour but we lucked out and joined a once-a-day guided tour starting from the gift shop. Very enjoyable guided trip, it is free and full of fun facts. Bonus: you get to go in a restricted area to really look at these rock formations.

This place’s best purpose is to swim in the deep blue with the safety of the man-made walls and floors. The fishes will be among you . So remember to bring your snorkels, swimming trunks, bikinis and towel. Clean and private coin operated shower cubicles available. Other than swimming is to go hiking around the island but I understand you need to apply for a permit at the office and there is a limit on the number of such ticket a day. Small entrance fee apply as this park is privately managed.

My family came to this Geopark on weekday, Friday. There isn't any crowd. The view is awesome to see the ocean horizon during the walk in the park. The ticket fare is NT$120 for an adult, Child and Senior is NT$60. I would recommend tourists to visit this place.

Beautiful and worth to once come if you have a chance to travel around Keelung city and the place around here. I think the view more good if we come to place when sunny day. Even cloudy day the atmosphere still good vibe❤️

Wonderful place to come for a swim and see fish!! If you forget to bring swimming goggles and a snorkel there's a local shop on the street that sells them, or you can buy them within the souvenir store. There's also a free geology and history tour every weekday at 2:30PM, lasts around 1 hour and the guide takes you around the park and into a restricted area! The cold showers cost 10 NTD for 5 minutes. The only downside is that there aren't enough lockers. I personally just left my belongings on the long bench by the pool.

one of the best and peaceful temples of the Keelung. Temple has many beautiful idols of different Gods with attractive and eye-catching colors. The temples are surrounded by green trees and mountains which make them peaceful and calm places for meditation and yoga. It is located close to the marine time plaza and you can visit the entrance of the temple by public transportation and at the end, you have to climb the stairs which are good to see the spectacular view of the city and port of the Keelung. It is one of the recommended places to visit in Keelung.

We took a taxi here and walked down the hill. It was pleasant and easy to do with lots of things to see.

After a nice little hike you can see the city port from the top. The temple is older but nice. You can climb inside the white statue just beware because the steps are very steep. Once on top there are little peep holes for another beautiful view of the city.

Zhongzheng Park is relatively far away from the train station, located on top of a mountain. Especially on hot and sunny days it's very straining to walk there. Down the road is another impressive temple, so you can include it in your travel plans. The park is quite crowded and smaller than it seems on the map. A small selection of street food is available. The atmosphere is similar to the atmosphere in a theme park. If you are in Keelung you might consider visiting Zhongzheng Park along other sights in Keelung.

There's nothing much there, quite rundown. However, it's a really nice Guanyin statue

I just love this place. The view is amazing. The public restrooms are clean. To reach this place, you gotta have 2 ways. One by walk through the stairs which amazing experience. Walking on the road and then through the stairs. Another is yes of course the bus or bicycle or scooter.

Breathtaking! This place is perfect for everyone, including kids and the elderly. The biggest outdoor goddess statue in Asia is a must-see. You can soak up culture, nature, and lifestyle at this park. Keelung (particularly Zhongzheng District) is one of the most charming places in Taiwan, I must say.

Saw the guanyin from my hotel room, so why not hike up to see what they have there. Route up is hilly, and the view there interesting. They also have the laughing Buddha at the entrance.

it’s a good 15-20mins short hike up from the stairs with twisty slopes and steps. Rewarded with beautiful scenery and all nature has to offer. Peaceful and pretty place to be in when visiting keelung! You may use google maps to guide you up to the place too.

Nice park on top of mountain, features Big Buddha and good views of Keelung Harbour.

Very interesting architecture of the temples, a traditional big Buda and a lot of statues around. From the top you can see the "Keelung" sign in the hills, the cruises port and part of the city, very cool. Also there is a tower that you can visit just "paying" with candies 🤭

Great museum for kids and learn the ocean knowledge. Parking lots are not easy to find when in peak time. Having kid playgrounds but need to note timeslot.

This place is so big and such a good place to know more about marine. There are so many kinds of marine biota which are being introduced while we are in the museum. Outside the museum is also good for recreation and we can also try to ride the shuttle bus around the museum. The architecture of the museum is also magnificient. So, it is so good to take a picture there.

Unique and well thought out exhibits which were available in multiple languages. Information was presented in a very engaging manner with many different innovative modes of presentation never seen before. Must visit! A huge plus was the children’s entertainment zone / playground where kids could run and play.

This is a multiple-building establishment which I believe is part research & education center, museum, and also trying to be an aqua-ocean tourist destination. It's not like those aquatic parks in other countries where you can find yourself immersed in a 360-degree glass wall/ceiling/floor. The surrounding view is pretty awesome with some fresh seaside air. There's really nothing exceptional to see so don't set your expectations that high. But if you're taking your SO, your kids, or someone dear for a half-day stroll, definitely go for it. After that, go to Keelung Ren'ai market for some sushi. The restaurants in and around the buildings seem to be outrageously expensive although I'm pretty sure that some of the food might be worth it. Nonetheless, we were in Keelung for more reasonably priced seafood and street food.

A great place for family and couples to visit. There's a lot of mini games to play and many information about marine technology to learn. Please give yourself at least 3 hours there.

Really not worth it. There's a bunch of stuffed animal toys on display which don't look like real animals. The ticket price is expensive and doesn't include the special exhibition. The kids play area is just okay. If you're in the area, visit. Otherwise, don't go out of your way.

Good a place to learn and educate with children. The kids are crazy about this place and learn lots of knowledge. The staff is kind and helpful always. Parking lots are available and easy to access in the main building. Enjoy and have fun.

Super worth the visit and price. $350 for the full pass ($200 for general pass) will get you a full day’s worth (4+ hours and lunch) of visit if you go through all the spaces and activities. The restaurant on the 5th floor is really quite good too, serving unique seafood-based hot-pots and set meals.

Can see the view of keelung harbour, and Keelung TRA station and there is Esquare mall (not so big) located at one side of the harbour.

There aren't many touristy places in Keelung City but this one was nice. You could stare into the ocean or watch large cruise ships at the bay.

We came here from Taipei on train with NTD 41 / pax (1 way) to visit this beautiful town and many more other attractions and places to visit. You can rent a motorcycle right opposite of the train station and tour around Keelung! (need an international license for foreigners)

Very nice place to visit. Once for a while, I will visit the Maritime place for dipping in a harbor life even for just several hours. Let the ocean wind blow to the face, watching the boats, snapshot the eagles flying down to catch fishes. I would recommend to visit and spend a couple of hours walking along the water front. Till the sunset, you can walk over the temple front night market for enjoy traditional Taiwanese cruise. Highly recommend. (2019 recommended) After two years, due to the pandemic of Covid 19, the board restrictions “tight” results in a empty harbor with No ships. Very lonely. Even there are some activities to enrich the city, but still some constructions reduce the attraction of the harbor. Very sorry to regrade and down adjust to three stars. (2021 April)

Nice place by the sea. From here you can see different types of ships and vessels. It's a typical spot for photos. Very close to the train station. Across the street are a few shops.

Located near Keelung TRA station, 10mins walk. Good open view of the harbour. It gets super windy & cold during winter time. Tourist photo taking area. Opposite it lies a row of shops which one can explore to satisfy some shopping urge. Also a Chinese temple 城隍庙just right around the corner. Just walk across the road and explore, be respectful and lower your volume to enjoy the architecture of the building. You can also walk to KeeLung Night market further down the road, where u can find famous mouthwatering streets food to enjoy on.

Another plaza built in 2009 where various open air artworks can be seen. Wood board floor, a few people are seen taking a shade or sleeping on the artworks. Must give a good panoramic view of the port. RP

A must place to visit when in Keelung City. From Taipei it is very convenient to do a half a day trip in the afternoon to Keelung City and visit the Night market as well and back to Taipei before 9pm.

This park is near the Maritime museum near Keelung It is a really beautiful area and the museum is worth a visit. The videos and things to see are well worth the time and of getting there. There are a number of restaurants in the area that are well worth eating at as well.

Second time being here, and this time I also got a sunny day. The ocean view is still amazing. There were many people taking pictures, having some snacks, or just sitting on the bench to watch the sea. It is really a good place to come with your family, your friends, or have a date with your partner. :)

This is a beautiful coastal views in the North Coast of Keelung. Sunset 🌅 is really amazing and at night time, sky and sea is shining with starts and night boats 🚤 .

Great and convenient seashore place to enjoy the sea view as well as some tidal sea creatures. Kids friendly place and better bring some umbrella and more water on hot days. Tricky to find parking lots during the Weekends but not that impossible. Many fusion restaurants nearby. Definitely we will revisit it again with kids.

Nice sea view and scenery. great place for relaxation. can visit this after the maritime museum. which u can relax and take pic and do some leisure activities like fly kites. it was not so crowded in weekdays. there is carts selling food also. Nice sea view and windy too.Duration 1-2 hrs.

Beautiful Keelung coast line to see with some restaurants to get a bite to eat while looking over the sea and the mountains in the distance. You can scuba diving here or go fishing on the pier. Ample parking and good trails to walk around. I come here to relax all the time. The scenery is different everyday depends on the weather. I love this place.

We explored I'd say 15% of this park but you could totally spend hours here, walking and soaking in all the beautiful scenery. Having so much nature and beauty for the eye to see is something that people who visit Taiwan sometimes just simply miss. Yes there is sometimes garbage and stray dogs, but the true beauty of Taiwan is how well the green mountains and oceans mix together. Can't wait to see the rest of this.
