This is probably one of my favorite botanic gardens I've visited in a long time. A few key highlights was the Anthony Chapel, the tree house and a few of the overlooks. I love that it isn't just one path, there's multiple sub paths you can take through the gardens, like stepping stones. We had no problems finding parking and we went during the afternoon on a weekday, might be different for other times like the morning. I believe the chapel is free if you walk in the entrance to the East but the actual gardens is like $20. Great place to spend the day, views, peace and some fun!!!

This is a spectacular botanical garden incorporating multiple styles like Japanese, European and contemporary landscaping styles. The garden is designed by the University of Arkansas school of architecture and it's quite impressive how the architects weaved so many elements together like winding paths, bridges, ponds, arbors, treehouse, rock garden and the lake into a fluid tapestry. The tree house and rock garden definitely are a must see if you have kids. Highly recommended for families!

My favorite adventure of our vacation! It was pretty hot the day we were there but there is a lot of shade and a breeze made things way better. A very nice long walk through nature without the drastic elevation changes. Beautiful gardens and architecture. Highly recommend and I will go back.

LOVED visiting this garden! We enjoyed meeting George the Peacock and his trainer letting us feed him. The chapel was even more stunning in person. The walking trails were beautiful and very well maintained.

I took the golf cart tour with my grandma & had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable, skilled at navigating around large crowds, & patient when we wanted to stop and take pictures. Beautiful place! We loved the cafe too.

This is place is absolutely beautiful!! My girlfriend and I made a Saturday trip in early spring to see this place and it was absolutely worth the cost of admission and the drive time. It's fields and fields of gorgeous flowers of all colors and species. They have a giant artistic tree house for the kids and kids at heart to enjoy with a waterfall and creek framing it in... one of the most breathtaking cathedrals I've seen with roof to sky windows... and a Japanese cherry tree garden with a small waterfall backdrop that looks straight out of a painting.

This is a beautiful garden which for you to enjoy. Cost is $20 per person, and $5 for a dog to tour the grounds. You will see everything from a structured treehouse, waterfall, a creek, and even a small cave behind the waterfall that you can crawl through if you're physically able. The walking trails are wide easy accessible some of which are gravel some of which are rock. You may even experience or see some multiple creatures that live in the area. The restrooms are clean the gift shop is nice and well taken care of and this place even offers a grill for your dining pleasure. During the Christmas time of year many decorations are placed throughout the garden which could be viewed as they are illuminated and help to bring the garden to life. It's a wonderful place to simply spend time with friends and family, to take a stroll enjoy nature and get some of that much needed exercise your doctor keeps telling you about. Take time to visit the gardens enjoy your day and take your time walking along the trails and experiencing the wonders of nature and what Arkansas has to offer.

Even if you are not a regular allergy sufferer be sure to at least have allergy stuff with you. We don't normally don't suffer from allergies but my whole family felt it when we went. Other than that this park is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend coming here!!! Everywhere you looked there were sights to see. So many waterfalls, just stunning. Definitely a good place to take family photos or senior portraits, so be sure to dress nice. I wish we could have stayed longer and took in more of the breathtaking views!

The cucumber sandwich was super yummy. Beautiful stroll. There is so much to look at and explore. If you go early, be sure to visit the chapel before it gets crowded. The resident peacocks will take food from your hand. Very peaceful.

Beautiful garden, very well maintained. One of the must see places to visit in Hotsprings. There are many walking tracks and gardens to cover, so plan to stay here for the whole day and enjoy outdoors at this place. Meet and greet the adorable Peacock George. He will surely steal your hearts. They have lots of Japanese Maple trees, so we are pla ningi to visit again during fall season. They already started setting up the holidays. Hearty that there will be 2 million plus lights in action for Christmas. It will be a good idea to sign up for new letter, when you can get regular updates all year round. Buy tickets online to avail a discount of $5 per ticket.

Me and my wife visited Garvan Woodland Gardens as our first trip on our honeymoon. We enjoyed every second of the expertly manicured park. The architectural craftsmanship of the man made exhibits is quite breathtaking. If you enjoy nature and architecture do not pass this up on your next trip to Hot Springs!

This place was awesome and much larger than expected. Give at least a half day to explore if not a full day. I only wish they opened earlier. 10am is late. Other than that, beautiful place, they are getting Christmas lights ready so seeing the stuff lying around and plastic poles everywhere kinda ruins the view a little bit but wouldn’t deduct more than a star for that because I’m sure it’s going to be beautiful when done. Also a great idea when weather cools down and plants aren’t thriving as much. The lights add the vibrant colors missing when weather doesn’t allow the vibrant flowers. Also love that it’s dog friendly. The chapel is also a great touch, just a short walk and absolutely stunning architecture. Wife already has plans for renewing our vows here.

Beautiful gardens! We stopped by here on our visit to Hot Springs National Park and spent about 2.5 hours walking around! There were lots of different decorations up for Christmas time. We liked the trail that goes up to the lake. The treehouse and tower were also cool to look at! The only sad part was the chapel was closed when we went due to an event. The gift shop was cute with friendly staff too!

Great place for family hikes. Especially good for amateur hikers as the trails are well kept. Staff- staff members were excellent and seemed to thoroughly enjoy conversing with visitors and helping out. Kids- Great for kids. Trails are well kept or paved. Map especially helped keep us on track to see the path to the next spot we wanted to see. Kids enjoyed playing the nature bingo and everything on the list! It was a great way to keep them engaged and concentrated on the hot July walks. Trails- we opted for the non-paved trails which tended to be shadier for the hot day. Did not get to complete all trails. The only trail we missed was the long one set away from the main area. Price- if you do not plan to spend a lot of time here, then I could see where the price is steep. If you plan to spend most of your day here hiking and seeing all the sights then the price is fair to have safe and well kept trails for the whole family. Sights- the gardens are beautiful, even in the heat of the summer. I could see that it would be even better at other times of the year. The chapel in the woods is a must see (especially to grab some AC in the heat). My favorite sight was the amphitheater which doesn’t seem to get many visitors, but it looked like a fairy tale spot with miss covered areas. The treehouse area was a great spot for everyone. We saw 2 snakes on our journey which was great for the kids. Plan to spend a full day here and bring walking shoes and I think you will be impressed!

LOVED IT. It was so magical and beautiful. To enter the gardens, the admission is 25$ but we are cheap and walked around the front grounds and over by the Chapel. So beautiful. 💯

Beautiful gardens to walk. All the workers/volunteers are super sweet. We spent all day wondering around and exploring. Worth every penny. They have little nature Bingo for kids and offer a military discount if you purchase tickets at the entrance.

Nice place to take a stroll, downside is it's cheaper to buy tickets online. It's $20 per adult if bought online (no convenience fee) vs. $25 at the gate. Military service members and Vets. can get the same discount right at the gate. We spent about an hour, saw a few cool structures and plants. There's an option for touring via electric cart for those who don't or can't walk for too long.

Buy tickets online. It will save you some money. It is a nice big garden. Your ticket will work for the whole day, can re-enter throughout the day. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The tree house is not worth 2 million dollars. It's a neat design, but not at the price tag. The children's garden is nice with all the rocks and a waterfall. The mini train wasn't on when we were there so it was a bit disappointing for the kids. Our whole family had fun there though. There's a cafe in the garden, however we didn't try it. Plenty of parking spaces, easy in and out.

This is a cool place to visit and learn about the history of Hot Springs bathhouses. The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public. There are 4 floors, with artifacts and panels, images, and a brief history of the people that came to hot springs for thousands of years starting with Native Americans. If you're fascinated by history and a glimpse into how hot springs once looked, come to this place.

So much to do and learn! Beside Hot Springs having all the modern the National Park is the gem. Taking time to go through the visitor center and learn about the history of the bathhouses is a must. They have preserved and displayed something from each historic house. They have even displayed the separation of genders and race. Remember to bring your water bottles and fill up from the hot and cold taps!

Admission is Free with no wait time. Definitely start at Fordyce before visiting any of the bath houses. It educational and takes you back in time. It’s worth every minute you spend here. There are park rangers at site, who can answer any of the questions that you may have. Don’t miss the 17 minute short movie on the history of Fordyce Bath House and Hot Springs. It’s played in the theater room on first floor every hour. The guided tours are scheduled twice a day at set time. There is free public parking and free metered parking on weekends but finding a space to park can be quite a challenge. You can take their antique elevator to access different floors and to it’s restrooms in the basement. The entire property is wheelchair accessible.

It is a very interesting self-guided free tour of the first luxury bathhouse. There are 3 levels of historical actual displays and equipment. If you stop and talk to the park ranger he will provide interesting information and history.

Really cool self guided tour experience! Really gorgeous in some areas. My youngest sister however did accidentally lock herself in one of the men's dressing room stalls. Watch out for that one.

Must visit if you're in the hot springs national park.area. This is a well laid out museum about the history and science behind the hot springs and bath house phenomenon. Definitely a lot of interesting exhibits and write ups that will satisfy the most demanding of history buffs.

We were looking for "something along our route" and the bath houses came up as a Google recommendation. My first thought was...that doesn't seem too exciting. I looked at some reviews by others and thought my family may enjoy an hour or two here so we would go. I didn't have any great expectations. Boy was I surprised! This place was great! We stopped into the visitor center and picked up a map and a coupon booklet. Do that first! We wandered down the bustling street and passed by countless little shops. We saw an amphibians tour and thought we might try it. Maybe later. We stopped in a few bath houses that were still operational. With e kids tagging along it wasn't practical to think we were going to bathe, so we went to the next one. Everyone was super friendly and told us about the one that was turned into a museum....the Fordyce. We made our way over to the Fordyce and saw they had guided tours, or you could self tour. We didn't want to wait for the guided tour so we checked it out alone. My kids were fascinated and I quickly read all the narrations to them as were breezed through the building. They especially like the electromassage and other "weird" technology from back then. We even watched a little of the theater info video.

GREAT experience over several floors - lots of fantastic exhibits and information..! Bathrooms available - no public WiFi - no gift shop in this building. The looped movie plays on the hour and half hour - very dated but interesting.

Must-see! This was so interesting to see what luxury was like 100 years ago. Great preservation. Three levels (and don't forget the basement) to see. Plan on 30-40 minutes.

This was probably the highlight of Hot Springs NP. It was really cool to learn and see how the bathhouses operated when they were in their prime. This is a free museum and has 3 floors and a basement!! So much to see and learn. You can also see a bit of the actual spring water from the basement.

We visited here on this trip as my husband had never been here. I thought it would be something fun for us to do. The Fordyce Bathhouse is one of the old bathhouses on Bathhouse row on Central Ave in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a visitor center and is a museum of sorts as you can tour through the 3 floors and basement. It is a step back into the glory days of what it was like for people who visited the bathhouse for either treatment for ailments or just to relax and have social interactions with other patrons. The natural hot springs that run underground were a great resource. They have an elevator here as well. The staff/park rangers are very friendly and helpful. It's a clean establishment, and there are bathrooms for you located in the basement. There is a gift shop as well. The Fordyce is a must-see if you are visiting here, and it is FREE to tour also.

My favorite stop on Bathhouse Row. I always take time to visit this beautiful, historic building when I’m in Hot Springs. It’s been so well preserved, it’s hard not to get caught up in thoughts about the lives of the people who are long-gone that occupied this bathhouse. Some of the stained glass is truly breathtaking. Every room is a snapshot of history, some sad, but very thought-provoking. I recommend the self-guided tour for anyone who would like to reflect on the past in their own time.

Fascinating history. We took the 10 am. outside, ranger-guided tour led by Ranger Chimill. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. There was also an inside tour, but we preferred slowly going through the museum by ourselves as they had the information well marked on signs and placards.

We enjoyed our ranger-led tours of the springs and bathhouse. You can also do self-guided tours. Very interesting. More like a museum or historic site than a National Park, though.

FREE admission. This is the visitor center and a museum. Original elevator, pretty cool! If you go to one of the bathhouses you will be using everything you see in this museum, as far as tub, tables… very interesting place to visit. Make sure you read the history of the place, is posted everywhere.

We had a superb visit here, learning the history of the bathhouses, with focus on the Fordyce as we walked back in time through the facility. Our park ranger guide was outstanding as she explained in detail the evolution of the area and how the bathhouses operated. Fascinating stuff and well worth the time spent.

It’s free and it is rich in history. There are guided tours twice a day by the rangers. Definitely worth visiting! It is also surrounded by some of the operational bath houses near by. Also plenty of restaurants around. Parking can be quite tricky to find during weekends.

Very unique and clean national park visitor center. Staffs are very nice and helpful. It’s a museum, no hot spring pool here. A step back in time when walking around in this place.

FREE Admission- What an amazing visit! The building is kept at 62 degrees- you may want to bring a jacket. If you are thinking about stopping in it is so worth your time. Very educational while enjoyable experience as well. The park rangers were so friendly and knowledgeable. There are guided tours at set times of the day, a video segment. Make sure you make it to the third floor and see the beautiful stain glass ceiling in the parlor. There is free parking near by the building. It is a very busy area. A bit challenging to access but very worth it. Restrooms are available in the basement.

Nice museum with no visiting charges . Displaying the ancient bath treatment provided using the hot spring water and how the infrastructure was at that time. Looked very luxurious . Different treatment provided , different room , changing room and how the spring water was supplied upstairs.

A breathtaking view of Hot Springs and the surrounding area! If you are visiting for the first time, this absolutely needs to be on your list of things to do. The gift shop was cute and full of local souvenirs, the employees were very welcoming, and the top of the tower really is something to experience. The very top floor is open-air, while the floor just below has windows and goes into the history of Hot Springs, the tower, etc. I can tell you I have a pretty intense fear of heights, but I went up for our kids and I really did feel safe once I got to the top. If you're nervous about going, I'd encourage you to give it a shot. If you have young kids, be prepared for them to get to the top and say "Wow! We're up high! Can we go now?" 😂 You may have to do some speed reading to read some of the information on the enclosed floor. Honestly, I may have enjoyed the drive up and down the mountain as much as I enjoyed the tower! It was filled with switchbacks and was really a beautiful drive. Lots of places along the way to stop, see the sights, have a picnic lunch, and even walk some trails if you'd like.

Our family of 5 came for the bath houses....decided to see the tower. There was the option of parking at the bottom and hiking the trail to the tower, but the drive seemed like a better idea as Temps were nearing 93. The drive up the mountain was beautiful with dozens of switchbacks winding though the trees as the sun poking through created a natural strobe light effect. Parking up top is limited to about 50 vehicles...so come early, although many who come up do not stay too long. There is a gift shop in the bottom of the tower that looks a little dated, but the workers were extremely nice. The price for the tower is a little steep costing 13 for adults and 9 for kids. 1st responder discount and a 1 free admission coupon from the guide book we picked up at the visitors center in town...we spent less than 45 bucks. The tower was busy (July 3rd) so there was a 5 minute wait for the elevator. There is a turnstyle from an old subway that you place your token in to access the elevators. A 1 minute ride to the top and you can staybas long as you like. The very top was open air but if you go around to the staircase, the is another floor lower that is enclosed with A/C and lots of reading panels. We took the staircase back down which was pleasant.

A wonderful experience! It was awesome to get to look down on the historic town of Hot Springs and see it from that perspective! Definitely recommend to everyone! There is nearby parking and the cost isn’t outrageous, plus they have a very nice gift shop! Check it out!

Great views but very windy! Recommend bringing a jacket if you visit the outside observation deck! The inside observation deck is the level below it, but the views are better from the very top of the tower. Wish we got to see the sun set all the way. Unfortunately, their hours say it closes at 5pm, but the tower actually closes at 4:30pm. Wish they would extend their hours, especially during the summer when the sun sets later because the views would be beautiful! Admission was $10/person and parking is free.

So very pretty, and also very interesting. The gift shop is kind of pricey, but the lookout tower views make up for it. The staff is so nice, upbeat, and pleasant to interact with. To put it simply, the staff was refreshing. I highly recommend!! If you’re in the military or are a first responder, they will give you a discounted rate, so be sure to bring proof or an ID if that applies to you.

Visited 7/3/23 My wife wanted to go up in this tower for our anniversary today. It’s a beautiful view of Hot Springs and the surrounding mountains. The elevator has a window and goes up the middle of the 216 ft. crossbeam structure that the overlook platform is built on. Lots of souvenirs in the gift shop at the bottom. Everyone should visit here at least once.

Beautiful uphill drive and nicely built tower. The best part was the elevator going up to the viewing deck. You could see miles away while going up. The views from the tower are awesome. You could see the buildings and the hotels around. Hot Spring, AR has so many trees. You could see the greenery all over the place from the tower. You also find the hot springs at the base of the tower while going back.

Pretty neat going up and seeing a 360 view of Hot Springs and the surrounding areas. You also get a good workout if you take all the flights of stairs. There is an elevator. However once you get to the top just be prepared for a lot of wind. Especially on a windy day, but the views are worth it.

Easily accessible from the main road, plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The drive up is very nice with some view points. You can also walk up to the top There was not a long wait to buy tickets or for the Elevator to go up. You can also walk the stairs if you like. Excellent 360 view from the top with plenty of Historical Photos and information. There is a nice shop where you purchase the tickets.

Lovely view and really good customer service. You do have to pay to go up. They give a discount for groups of 15 or more and also offer a military/veterans discount.

Amazing view from the top. You can drive to it or hike to it. Roughly 1/2-3/4 mile hike up the hill. Medium level of difficulty but worth it in my opinion. Gift shop items are excessively overpriced, kind of expected, but not to this extreme.

$12 with a National Parks pass to get elevator to the top which is 216ft. Great views over the National Park and over the town of Hot Springs. There is an exhibition level below the top deck giving the history of the town and the famous people who came to the area to bathe in the spring water.

The drive up was very nice lots of scenery. When we at the top looking up at the tower was very impressive. So we paid our way in and took the elevator to the top and what a view! Then there is all kinds of history about Hot Springs and the tower with all the famous people from the 30s to include Babe Ruth and lots of other baseball players. The gift shop is also very cool with shirts, hats and other items. You won't be disappointed at all. This was my first time up and I did it for my 61st birthday!

Beautiful drive up the mountain. Very tall building and at the very top you can go outside and see all the way around the next floor is inclosed with dirty windows but you can still see fine you can walk all the way around outside view is better for pictures and videos inside has inside has history info and displays. The top outside was too windy to enjoy it. It was all I could do to stand up, and my hair was all in my face. I asked about the winds, and they said it gets really windy up there, but they were under wind advisory that day, so it was extremely bad. So check to make sure if there is a wind advisory before you go, and it should be better, lol. It was something to do it was nice, but I expected to see something exciting and / or beautiful, lol. There is also a store on the ground floor. I stayed about an hour and would have stayed longer if they didn't have a wind advisory. On a normal day, I would say it's about a 1 - to 3-hour event.

We waited in a disorganized line for about 20 minutes just to purchase overpriced tickets to ride to the top. You had to get these tokens first that fed into the turnstile machine. Then we sat there and waited another 5 minutes for an elevator to take us to the top. They did have a great tutorials and history information about the city. Also had great views of the surrounding land. They did have a little gift store inside where you can purchase souvenirs and snacks. There is also a bathroom located inside. To me, it was not worth the price as I thought it was a little overpriced for the tickets.

The tower tour was a quick in and out. Lots of information on the history. Great views. We were able see the pretty fall colors view. The tower closed at 2.00pm due to the day before Thanksgiving. We also got $3off per ticket as we had the annual national park pass.

Must see and do. There are a lot of history placards on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor is an outdoor viewing area. Loved it. I have a National Parks pass so out entry was $10/person

Awesome views of the town Hot Springs! Well worth it, elevator was a bit sketchy though. You also have to pay for the viewing scopes up top. They have a gift shop at the bottom/ entrance when you first come in.

Recommended by a native from Hot Springs, we made a point to go before sunset and got there just in time before they stopped making runs up to the top (4:30p in November). Hold on to your hat when you get to the top so it doesn’t blow away! Beautiful drive up the windy 5k road to the base of the tower and peaceful, gorgeous views await you at the top!

Late on a Saturday afternoon we were able to get a walk-in for the main pools. I'm usually not one for miracle water and suchlike, but for days after I felt incredibly refreshed and my skin felt great.

I am a long-time resident of HS and have been to all of the bathhouses. By far, this one is my favorite and the best!

This was a true and amazing experience for me! I went for my birthday!! If you want to use the private spa and pool you should call and book at least a week or two advance!! I def plan to go back!!!

We came to Hot Springs to see Aaron Lewis, an amazing artist. That was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to, loved the acoustic concert. Everyone seemed to be well behaved and respectful. The facility is so nice, very beautiful. Elegant bathrooms. I’d definitely go back for another concert. If I had one complaint, the ushers need to have those that are standing up in front of others that paid the same price. Definitely not cool blocking the views!

My wife and I stayed at the resort the Friday of Memorial Day weekend for a concert. Awesome facility in every way (rooms, dining, concert venue, amenities, parking, etc.). One clear standout is the customer service/experience. Uncharacteristically, I left a very important item in my room upon checkout and didn't realize it until I was over 4 hours away. I quickly called the resort desk and was connected to Mr. Landon Snell (Front area manager I think). Thankfully they had the item in his office, and he explained he'd be more than happy to mail it to me. I was pleasantly surprised - one; they had the item, and two; how pleasant and helpful Mr. Snell was ensuring me he'd mail the item to me. Wow. Superior experience and service!

Rooms were great! Comfortable bed, 75 inch TV, large rain shower head in shower. Casino is very nice, none smoking although they ate very tight machines and card are electronic with a dealer passing them out. The nice restaurants are not open on Mon and Tues so we had to leave to get dinner. Overall, nice couple of days.

The hotel was nice. Was on the 8th floor and had a great view of the horse track. The room was clean but housekeeping made it to out room after 5. It was peaceful considering there is a casino on the second floor. I would stay again. Russel at the front desk was also very nice and professional. Overall in hot springs it’s the best you are going to get

Beautiful hotel and rooms, and the service was excellent, far above anywhere in the area. We enjoyed the check in process with Brian, the manager…I mean who enjoys checking in?? He was a pleasure to talk to though. It’s a little pricey but I would say worth it because of how nice the hotel is. The bed was super comfortable, and the AC worked great. Everything was crisp and clean. We enjoyed our stay, and the view of the track would be amazing during race season.

Just went into the casino. It was a pleasant experience. I was a bit on the plus side, had I not answered my phone. It always breaks up the fun mood when I'm on the phone and trying to enjoy myself. I also wanted to make it a "one-stop shop" with dinner after playing, but I guess I was too early. They should have at least one 'nice' dining area open for a nice sit-down dining experience.

Oaklawn is a great experience into racing and a good time for a weekend away. You can stay locally or at the hotel and casino. Rooms are plush and you can get track facing rooms. In the evening we ate in the casino and they had your normal flair of slots and tables. Only negative I noted was the manned Roulette table is a min $25 bet and they lose some customers due to that fact alone. The auto Roulette wheel was a $3 buy in...don't miss the sports betting area all the way in the back. Excellent parking, however there is a fee if you arrive the morning of the races, but free later. Valet is available. As its a casino and horse track, I an not sure this would be the best kid friendly place. Added note: they recently installed metal detectors to casino entrance. Not a big deal, but noteworthy for those that exercise 2A.

We had a good time the workers we encountered were very friendly and helpful! I even won a lil! It's very big from what I saw we didn't walk over the whole floor but it was a good time! We were surprised to know we had to pay for the drinks back home they're complimentary as long as your actively playing but that wasn't a issue we just didn't know you had to pay but great place friendly workers we'll be back!

We have been in Hot Springs since Nov. Went New Years for the Prince Tribute. The performance was really good! Only the chairs in the rows were entirely too close together. The rows were also too small. Some people had difficulty getting into and out of the rows. The casino was very nice. Loved the smokers being in their own section! This was the first time I had come from a casino not reeking from smoke. Will definitely be back!

Do not use the pads in the room to order. Take the time and place a phone call. It will save you from having to jump out of bed to get dressed to answer the door to ask what you ordered 30 minutes before you planned to get up. This is after they called the night before to see what time I wanted the order (which was also entered on the pad). It makes you wonder how accurate the betting pads are in the casino portion. Please consider your payment method. They do take $250 immediately in case you cause damage. They are kind enough to return in 3-5 days whenever it works out . The personality at the front desk is not what I would want to represent my business, but I was kind on the front end as it really was a small thing until I had to call back. It just deviated from there. The positive - The facility is nice. I was impressed with the physical features. Beyond that, I have no words.

I have little interest in gambling, but did want a NICE, MODERN, FULL SERVICE HOTEL in Hot Springs. There is NOTHING to dislike about this hotel...clean, modern....inviting lobby w/parking valets & bell service....large beautifully appointed rooms ( with robe, slippers, and a GINORMOUS FLAT SCREEN TV, super comfortable bed and amazing art work/furnishings! I had a room with full view of the racetrack on a racing day, and mountains in the background. Nice restaurants, bars...spa facilities (massage, facials, fitness center). Front desk, restaurant/bar and casino staff were friendly & efficient...even the housekeepers/groundskeepers were welcoming and polite. My place to stay whenever i come to HS.

Rooms were well thought out and very roomy and comfy. Very nice that they were able to check us in before the horse races started and then we just walked from our room to the races. Casino was fairly large and not too crowded with machines. We had a great time!

Lots of new slot themes that made the night fun and time go by quickly. Mainline sports bar food was fantastic. Rooms were comfy and spacious. Liked the tablet to control lights and temp. The one thing that surprised me was no parking garage.

This place is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are super comfortable!! Our room faced the race track, but it wasn't up and running, but imagine watching the races from the comfort of your room. The staff are the friendliest of anywhere i have ever stayed, I mean every one of them.

I can only rate based upon stopping by to have a little fun. We did not stay at the casino hotel. However, if you want a total smoke-free casino (the majority of it), this is the spot. I don't smoke, but I looked for the smoking section anyhow. Could not find it, could not smell it, it was a joy not to leave a casino smelling like stale second-hand smoke.

Went for a concert only. Lovely facility, but was surprised that most of the seating was just chairs in a standard event hall space with a stage. The seating map was deceiving , as it made it seem it was a permanent theater hall. Next concert, I’ll choose the seats in the back. Better view and better seats. The bar out front was so backed up, so we went upstairs to on the casino bars. Not full, but the guy was so slow. The two bars inside of the hall, they worked their tails off, but too a while. But at least u could stay and enjoy the show while u waited. Overall, it was good!

We didn't stay at the hotel so I cannot speak on it. We went to watch horse racing which neither of us had ever seen. The track is very nice, like a golf course. We had a great time betting on the races and am not much of a gambler. Hours of entertainment for far cheaper than going to a casino.

We had so much fun. 1st race post time was 1 pm, they opened the gates at 11. You have to order tickets online, you can't buy them at the track (but you can pick them up at will call. Will call is inside, so don't try before 11. Parking on site is $5 and you need cash, exact change. All of the betting only takes cash, but all the places to eat take cards. Every staff member we interacted with were VERY friendly. There were 9 races, from 1 pm til 510 pm. They had both 1 1/16 mile races and 6 furlong races. We had tickets in row L down near the glass (row c) and the seats were great! The first 4 races we watched from our seats because the free outside area was in full sun. Once the building was shaded we moved out to the rail. We tried watching from the infield but you can't see anything. Long story short--go. Bring cash. If you can afford it, buy tickets and sit inside for at least the hot parts of the day. Visit the paddock--you'll love seeing the horses. We WILL be back!!!

Any OTHER casino will compensate you for your stay and play. This casino will take and then take some more. You do not have free food when you play. Yes it's smoke free but there is no casino games except for blackjack and craps. On weekends you'll be lucky to find a 15 dollar table. On race days you'll be lucky to find a 25 minimum. There is another casino an hour away that offers more games cheaper drinks and will compensate a full buffet to just sit and play.

Beautiful place. Make sure you request a room with a view (horse track). You will get the chance to see them run the horses early in the morning. Burglar's food was delicious. The bar called the First turn drinks were fabulous!! There is also a heated patio. Enjoy 🙂.

Great place! Even better with NO SMOKE IN THE CASINO AREA!! I've been to plenty of Casinos in my lifetime. Can't emphasize enough how refreshing this one is without the smoke. Friendly employees, fun atmosphere. We will definitely be returning when visiting HS.

We didn't stay here, but we went to the casino there. This maybe how casinos work in AR, but the payout for exact same game with the same amount of money bet is about half of what OK pays out. We still had a great time just time we are in AR we won't spend money at their casinos and wait until we go back to OK or Vegas. Vegas pays even better than OK.

We were blown away by the breathtaking view of the track we had from our room. Not to mention, the room itself was beyond spacious and had us feeling very pampered. Every amenity had been thought of, even a scale and slippers. Will be returning, for sure. Smoke-free casino was also a delight complete with kind, helpful staff. I haven’t a single complaint for this fine establishment.

Went with a girlfriend and played till one of us lost the mad money we brought. We went early on a Friday and had our choice of where to park. We could freely move around and pick slot machines. No tables were open for black jack. There's a smoker's room which I didn't visit. There are restaurants and a hotel.

I was born in the old hospital by this race track and never have I got to go to the casino , as sec traveled back-and-forth Arkansas to Oklahoma as a kid so I finally got to go and it was a wonderful day. It is a pretty cool casino. I can’t wait to come back and visit again, and check it out better next time and get to see the hoses race next time.!

I think the only thing that I didn't like here is will. I'll get. The only two things is that they always take all my money and the smoking section is small really too small and the game's in it are really more tailored to the high spenders, not the penny slot machine you know

Beautiful first class, full service, smoke free, resort hotel & casino with all the amenities that anyone could want. Awesome horse racing track with climate controlled seating and outside seating. 24/7 on-site sports, dog, and horse race betting. Free hotel guest valet/taxi service to and from anywhere in the city. Plenty of slot machines and table games. Great on site fast food outlets and restaurants. It was refreshing and wonderful to have fun without being exposed to rancid, disease laden tobacco smoke, dirty ashtrays, and ash on every surface. So good to see an intelligent business management group that really cares about the health and comfort of all their employees and customers.

Such an impressive casino! Very very nice, attracts classier clientele and the drinks are priced better than any place around, $3.50 for wells and beers! We will absolutely be returning when back in the area!

We went for the live races and had a BLAST! No bad seats, indoor and outdoor options. We went on a Sunday- so much less packed than a Saturday. Infield was too wet to go to, sadly, but it looked awesome. On a sunny day, would be a great place to be for the races. Kid friendly and can see the horses close up (again, probably better on a Sunday). Friendly staff throughout and a fun experience.

I only experienced the casino. The main area is nonsmoking. I was so happy for that. I used to smoke and had a smoker with me so we did go in the smoking area and played. It was so thick with smoke it was hard to breathe. There should be better ventilation and a warning on the door. I never saw a waitress and the lines for nonalcoholic beverages took forever. But we played for hours and had a great time.

We were on the top floor with a view of the racetrack. Beautiful room that was spacious and clean. Frankly, we loved everything about our weekend getaway! Everyone, and I mean everyone at the Hotel was very warm and friendly. They made us feel right at home. Shoutouts to the Bellman to the ladies in the bar in the lobby to the Gift Shop associates! I think the only issue, which is very minor, was there weren't enough servers in the Casino (slot areas.) I had to track them down for a Mimosa, which was way, way overpriced. We plan on coming back to the Hotel soon!

As compact casinos go, this one is clean and comfortable. Everything feels relatively new. There's a 24 hour dining eatery available plus additional restaurants during normal hours. The place is a perfect size for Hot Springs and hosts decent performers. When you're up late with nothing else to do, head over here, get a grilled sandwich, and play some slots.

Definitely worth visiting. 80% of the casino area is slots, with a large sports betting area in the back. The casino is non smoking except for a closed off area with more slot machines, which is super nice. They also have some roulette, craps, and blackjack, but its only about 20 tables. Didn't see any poker so I assume it's in a different area. We had some food at the main restaurant by the casino, and they had reasonable prices. You can also walk up to the bar while you're gambling and get drinks, and they're pretty cheap. I think I paid $6 for a mixed drink. We're going to go back and check out the horse racing, the casino just wasn't for us. Also I went during my birthday month and they let you spin a wheel for Oaklawn merch and casino credits, so that was cool.

Got a good deal on passes in a group rate by going in with friends and purchased multiple passes. Since it's been so hot our family only went to the water park, we had a blast. Too many things to do all in one day. We have found our favorite spots so we pretty much stay between the wave pool and Grizzly Creek, which is great for kids. We love going on Sundays since u can take an ice chest in with u. I have never had a problem taking food or drinks inside with me, I just wrapped them up in a towel in my backpack. Weekends are busy, we did a mini vacay in July and stayed in Hot Springs for 3 days and went to Magic Springs during the week which was much better, less people. Arrive when they open if u want a chair in the shade. I never had any problems with theft, folks are good about leaving others belongings alone. I love Crystal Falls.

1 child and 2 adults admission almost $160 with additional $20 for parking!!! And half of the park was closed, just very few rides available and couple of pools. One good thing that I’ve noticed was coolers water dispensers provided by the Department of parks and recreation, which was free! The big jugs with hand sanitizers were actually filled with water and vinegar!! And maybe a handful of taverns/restaurants… to choose from (pizza or very unappealing Mexican food, funnel cakes, ice cream and shaved ice with flavors) Not a very magic place…

We always have a blast at Magic Springs. Yes sometimes rides are down but we just ride all the others more. Lazy river is our usual go to on really hot days and we just float around on a tube or sometimes just wade a few rounds to cool off. The fact that parents can ride most of the kiddie rides is also a big bonus, because some of those are extremely fun!We even get to catch some awesome concerts on Saturday nights. This is our first year as season pass holders and will definitely be buying them for years to come. I am thankful for cooler Sundays and that ice water is free with our season pass cups.

Only went for the Cooper Alan concert. The temperatures are swealtering at this time in Hot Springs 98 degrees at 7:30 p.m. It is a water park as well, but misting stations might have been nice in these conditions around the concert area. The concert was excellent, crowd was relaxed and fun.

Great amusement park for its size. There’s a nice mix of rides for smaller kids and for older ones. It can get hot and exhausting to hike up and down the hills in the theme park. I definitely enjoyed it more when the water park was open. It’s still hot in October and we would have appreciated the cool down. Season passes are a fabulous deal! They pay for themselves in less than 2 visits. Plus you can bring guests for a discount and even bring guests for free at certain times. Well worth the cost of the pass. The food is priced so high that it’s almost ridiculous. I paid $90 for a few snack foods for a family of four. Completely outrageous.

This park has the potential to be a great park but it is overpriced and falls short in many areas. I'm in the park now as I write this and looking around at all the problems I see. We may be spoiled because we are used to Holiday World in Southern Indiana, which frankly leaves Magic Springs in the dust. Holiday World has comparable ticket pricing, even though it's twice the size of Magic Springs, and yet has free parking, free sunscreen, and free soft drinks. Holiday World has excellent attention to detail, such as keeping the park clean and well maintained - similar to the Disney World experience. By comparison, some of the rides, water slides and buildings at Magic Springs are in need of maintenance and paint and there is more litter around Magic Springs. Magic Springs really nickles and dimes guests with a ridiculous $20 parking fee, tiny drinks for $3.50 and "large" drinks which are really medium size for $4.25. There were no signs at the food stalls to indicate which windows were to order and which were for pickup, resulting in confused guests. Magic Springs does not properly coordinate loading of coasters and rides (with a couple of exceptions that I noticed like XCoaster) to ensure as near to a full load as possible, resulting in longer lines. Many of the coasters should run more than one train to more efficiently move riders, but I only saw a single train running on every coaster at Magic Springs. Holiday World, by comparison, almost always runs multiple trains to ensure short wait times. Thunderbird at Holiday World puts Gauntlet to shame. Another example of lack of attention to detail was that 45 minutes after opening, Arkansas Twister was still sending the train on test runs, so it took almost an hour after opening before the coaster was available for passengers- this process should be completed prior to opening. Big Bad John is a great medium coaster which appeals to a wide range of riders but really needs a second train to be more efficient. Even in fall, the line is long for this coaster. The Living Cemetery was a nice touch for Halloween, good acting. Arkansas Twister reminds me of a rougher less polished version of Voyage, though that's understandable as the Twister is a much older coaster. XCoaster is a very unique coaster unlike any I've ridden and is a great addition to Magic Springs. Magic Springs management should take a trip to Holiday World. The difference in attention to detail, and more inclusive pricing, makes all the difference in the world to the guest experience.

So much to do not enough time. The kids was torn between the rides and water. The heat and water won. We spent the entire day in the water after riding a few rides. Take a waterproof phone case, if you want to take pictures while in water. We went on a Sunday before memorial day, it was packed but still not too bad. We were allowed to bring a cooler as well, it saved a lot of money with a family of 4. We had a blast. We traveled from Terry, MS to visit.

I wish everything was open and the website had the correct times on it, but otherwise fun. The water was cold at first but nice after it got hotter outside. The wave pool is my favorite, but I wish they had a large pool like the wave pool that we could swim in that is over 6 feet deep without the waves. The Arkansas Twister is so much fun. I could ride it over & over. Great place for the family and so much to do.

I've been to Magic Springs three times. The best experience is on quiet days such as when there is lousy weather forecasted. The queues are almost non-existent. I love that the management is pretty chill. You are allowed to go out to your car and then reenter. This allows you to get swim gear from your car or even go elsewhere to eat. There is a healthy variety of rides. They are also mostly in clusters, excluding the Arkansas Twister. The slope between the entrance and the pond may be an issue for people with mobility issues, but isn't too bad otherwise.

Me and my father love to go here a lot. We get season passes to here as much as we can. The only things about it is when rides close a lot and we remember a long time ago when the Chill Pool was always open even though it’s only to private parties now days. I think what y’all should do the most is open the Chill Pool back and stop with the private party stuff. We don’t wanna pay that much just to get into it. Other than that, not really problems.

Great customer service. We went for magic screams and had a blast. Food wasn't overpriced. Only thing in my opinion that's expensive is water but they allow sealed bottles of water brought into the park. We enjoyed it!

Some of the people are rude..I bought gold passes for me and the kids and I have had a problem everytime wether be with an employee on the ride or problems with food. It has like 3 rides that are for adults that are open the rest have been down it's more or less a GLORIFIED WATER PARK. But the small kids have fun and that's always good. Safer than a river and funner than a regular pool.

Nice smaller amusement park. There is plenty to do for all ages. Mediocre rollercoasters but lots of flat rides for kids. The park was clean and has a great staff.

Magic Springs Amusement park and Pool in Hot Springs, Arkansas was the first time to visit. Wow! A great place to bring your family and kids on a Hot day. Lots of different things to do. Rent tubes, eat food, and cool off! Restrooms are air conditioned too! The rides are amazing for all kinds of fun! Come see for yourself! Bring a cooler on wheels so you can keep track of all your belongings. Otherwise your things will be mixed in with everyone else's.

We had an amazing time here definitely would recommend. There's more kid friendly rides than there is for adults but the rides we rode were worth it. We will be getting season passes for next year to go
