I have tasted their milk multiple times in the past and I know that my son loves their chocolate milk. I just never knew where it was located. So the wife and I were looking for new ice cream places to visit and this place popped up on my maps. So we visited. It was a good time. Nice little grocery store with farm-type of items, ice cream shop, and, of course, dairy products. Staff were pleasant. You can walk about the farm on a self-guided tour and just was a nice trip.

It’s a nice place for family visit for ice creams. Ice creams are very tasty and yummy 😋 For kids they can see cows and calf’s, also there is a little maze in their corn field for kids to play and this is the top notch for kids & they will like it. Location wise it’s very good scenery and calm, you can feel the pleasant here…

The farm is a pretty typical diary farm. What really makes this place a great stop along the way is the shop where they sell fantastic baked goods, milk and cheese products and ice cream. All VERY GOOD!

Located not too far south of York, this is worth the drive! The milkshakes and ice cream are amazing. The small farm store has a plethora of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, milk (of course), juices, and sweets. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. The site also has two port-a-loo toilets located adjacent to the car park.

Our first time there. We got a few baked goods and icecream. We recommend the chocolate mint chip and also the blueberry cheesecake. So smooth and creamy and yummy. Not overly sweet. The waffle bowl and cone are great too

This place has the largest ice cream cones! I couldn’t even finish the double scoop of ice cream that I ordered. The apple cheesecake flavor-of-the-month was quite sweet; however, it was still delicious. Unfortunately, the staff will only let you sample the flavor-of-the-month. On the bright side, the flavor-of-the-month is discounted 25 cents a scoop. This place is great for kids. The farm has a window where you can watch cows being milked. If your visit coincides with the farmers feeding their roughly 40 calves, you will be in for a real treat!

Always delicious farm fresh milk and ice cream! The flavored milk is really good, especially the peanut butter! Inside there is a store that has a variety of baked good and milk products. Kids have a blast here! You can let them see and pet baby calves!

Perrydell makes the best chocolate milk ever. It’s like melted chocolate ice cream. When I learned that they had a store nearby that sells ice cream and milk, my family and I went. Their chocolate ice cream is superb, AND they have the baby calves in little pens out back. You can go and pet them. I love it, and our toddler does too. The calves are very cute. Sometimes they’ll lick your hand, or sometimes they’ll try to nibble on a kid’s shirt. They’re quite endearing, and it’s a good time. Heads up if you go- you have to order and pick up ice cream outside of the store. You can buy pints and such inside the store though. (Also you can see the flavors they have available inside.) It can be a little slow, but it’s worth the wait.

Delicious ice cream with all the richness you would expect from being made on-site at a long standing dairy farm! Blueberry and butter brickle were especially good. They don’t allow sampling though fyi. There’s limited outdoor seating, and even less that’s in the shade. Porta potty only. Best of all, go check out the cows and calves right behind the store.

Cute little farm where you get to pet the sweet calves & enjoy some ice cream. They even had a fun corn maze for the kids. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Ice cream is always fresh and delicious. The gift shop is nice and has some unique items. The main draw if you have kids is the cows. You can pet most of them and see the milking process. It's pretty neat

Stopped by since they are featured on the ice cream trail! Part of a farm they have a small store. We had various purchases and wanted to try their ice cream we were told we had to order and then wait outside. One in our group asked for a certain flavor milkshake, we were told they were out but the flavor was in the case. He ended up with a mint chocolate chip that was so strong of mint it did not taste good at all. The staff was not friendly and seemed annoyed to be there. I can give everything else a pass until the customer service fails. Outside they have very few picnic tables for the amount of customers. On the plus side the blueberry cheesecake ice cream was delicious but unfortunately not enough to bring us back.

Very interesting place. A store with many food items to purchase and counters but you have to go outside to order and pickup. I've never seen that before. Peach ice cream was yummy and worth every calorie. I drove 2 hours and this was my first stop when arriving in York.

What is there not to like about Perrydell. From shakes, to treats to different flavors of milk, you will find something you can enjoy and take with you. During the warmer months you can enjoy the sight of some farm animals, while entertaining conversations with others as you enjoy your purchase from Perrydell.

Stopped here while visiting the area. They have several calves in enclosures if you are inclined to pet a cow. It’s a working farm so no tours or information so you are left to wonder around. The ice cream was delicious and the store had a lot of fresh dairy products to try.

Great old school park.

Every day is a great day for a ball game, but especially a York Revolution game! This is my favorite part of summer. Bathrooms are always clean, the staff is great, and prices are a lot more reasonable than other sports events. Downtown is the best mascot in the universe too, in case you didn’t know. Go Revs!!

Our team had a great experience here holding a company event at the BudLight Bullpen Balcony! The team had a blast. Kenton did an awesome job helping us pick the right spot at the park for the event, and our bartender and servers were so kind. Highly recommend!

Fun family place! Price is right for a ball game. Great beer and food selections. The park is beautiful and well maintained. It was May 4th hence the dark lord. Stop by when in town. Buy tickets right off your phone!

After many trips to the Rev's, Our first trip to the 1741 Club. OUTSTANDING ! Great food and drink. Super staff. Best seats in the house. Very well kept facility. In our opinion a SUPER VALUE. Can't wait to do it again.

Nice ballyard. Reasonably priced family entertainment and a good product on the field.

Nice ballpark. The food was good and there was a nice variety of items. Love the funnel cake.The only reason I gave 4 stars was the parking... if you don't have a handicap plate or placard you must park in a lot a good distance away and you have to pay $6! They do have a shuttle bus that runs between the lot and the ballpark but that is annoying at the end of the game to wait for a ride to the lot.

Good times had. Great game to watch. Even have clean bathrooms! $3.50 for a bottle of Aquafina is a bit much. Buts definitely fun and surprisingly clean!

With only 1 produce, 2 meat, 2 delis, and 1 fish vendor, Central Market isn't much of a farm market, but, it is a fantastic lunch spot with an amazing amount of options and a few great stands with locally made jewelry, art, and furniture. JR'S Fries and Paper Moon Waffle are right next to each other and are owned by some of the nicest folks on the planet. World Cafe, Corner Cabinet Cafe, BBQ Cup are healthy delicious places for lunch. Hype is my go to when in the mood for vegan fantasticness. Robburito, Nema's Egyptian, and 2 Wild and Crabby Guys are equally good. There are 2 great sub shops, pizza, crepe, pretzel, and a candy stand and a coffee shop. Mezzo's is a full on Italian restaurant. I know I've missed a few places and I apologize in advance. If you can't find yourself something to eat here, or a nice gift for a friend, you just aren't looking.

After several trips here I am still discovering something new/fun/tasty. Vendors often take a vacation at different times forcing me to try something new. The crepe vendor is amazing. Thumbs up for Paco’s tacos, Hype vegan, local produce, Egyptian, Korean, Mediterranean, Roburrito, ice cream, and the huge variety of breakfast sandwich shops, and I think that’s only about half of what’s available plus arts and crafts. Definitely something for everyone. No need to compromise. Parking in the garage across the street is free and easy on the weekend. Bring your significant other for a date!

My first time here and it was pretty nice. I got a slice of pizza and I also stopped at this vegan stand which served specialty empanadas. Awesome! There's a good number of food and shopping vendors in this location. I'll be back to try more.

If you're in the area and looking for lunch or a snack, this is the place to go. A lot of cool restaurants and shops here and a lot of cool shops and galleries nearby. Great weekend activity with your significant other if you're looking to get out of the house or haven't been to York City before. Also a good spot to check out during first Friday's. I recommend checking out the galleries and surrounding shops then pick up lunch in the market. The new sushi place is excellent!

I love this place! The food and people are extremely nice. There are so many different cool vendors, food, and products to try! I highly recommend paying a visit.

Great place to take the family for a Saturday outing. Plenty of vendors with quite a variety of food options. Enjoyed the stroll through here and the historic downtown buildings of York.

They definitely stepped up the food game since we were there last. Hard to choose what to eat! THE BBQ Cup has the best kim Chi and Spring rolls.

This is a very cool market with many booths featuring food, crafts, and other merchandise. There was even live music! You can eat while you’re there, or purchase produce, meats and preserved foods like pickles and hot sauces to enjoy later. There were also jewelers vendors, clothing retailers and other interesting sellers. Also the architecture is amazing and the downtown York experience is fun!

Even though they open at 9:00, there not a lot going on that early on a weekend. We stopped around 9:30 on a Thursday and there were only a handful of stalls open. Still, we were able to get a cup of coffee, a fresh waffle, and some pastries to take home with us. Would definitely like to make another visit when everything is open but I imagine the tight aisles would make moving around a bit challenging with a decent sized crowd.

Such a cool market with plenty of options to please everybody. Local, hard working vendors offering great food and products. I've only come on a Saturday so it's always lively. Haven't even tried everything yet and we left with takeout too.

Came to visit here for the first time this past weekend and loved it! The market is huge and has a variety of shops including floral, eats, produce, bakery and much more! My favorite shop was the oil stand. They sell a variety of oils and vinegars and if any of the flavors sound intriguing, you can taste samples before buying! At each of the stalls we visited, the vendors were all so friendly. I also think at some markets, the cost is increased because the ambience that you are at a farmers market but I would say the value of these items were more than reasonable. For instance, we bought a bagel w/ cream cheese, and 2 HUGE slices of tomato pie for just around $10. Also got a latte for about 3.50 so not bad at all!

Went there for our first time this weekend. We will definitely be back. We tried JR'S food. It was delicious and Jesse is an AWESOME GUY!

BBQ Cup is my best go to place for the Korean Food. Staffs are very friendly and food is great and very delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting this market

Wonderful theater. We drove from Pittsburgh to see the Rent 25th Anniversary Tour here. The sound system was amazing and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.

The Appell Center is a national treasure, classic nostalgic atmosphere, genuine customer service, excellent bar variety and service. We attend a wide variety their shows live plays, symphonies, Jazz concerts, comedy shows and films. Highly recommend this place to any and everyone.

Two thumbs up from my better half. I enjoyed it too. A small, cozy venue. Almost intimate in size. Clean lobby, seating and bathrooms, plus I really enjoyed the show 😍

Saw Lake Street Dive here and it was an amazing show and the sound was perfect. The site was clean and the staff was superior.

I saw Pat Travers Band last weekend at the Appell Center. It was an incredible show and the venue was perfect for it. Small space, very intimate atmosphere and great vantage. The acoustics were great! The best part is that the tickets are affordable.

Great venue for a concert! Lovely, historical theater that’s been well maintained and updated — yet kept its charm. All staff and volunteers that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. There is a parking garage across the street (on the side), but it’s fairly small.

Beautiful theater, sound was great. Lots of staff to help with finding seats, purchased tickets online with no issues. Parking garage was full, thankfully their website listed another parking area that was walking distance away.

Never again. Spent almost a year encouraging a medical Apartheid when not legally required to. Why would I spend $1000s a year on shows to suddenly be treated like a second class citizen? I’ll spend my money on businesses that didn’t decide to discriminate just because they were scared.

This is our second 5 star experience with the Appell Center. Our family of 6 which includes four children under nine visited the family fun event, “Not-So-Spooky Baby Rave.” The free event ($5 per family suggested donation) included free parking at the Philadelphia Street Garage, treat bag, face painting, children’s games, seeing all the cute babes in costumes, and live DJ! Also worth nothing was the quiet area for sensory overload or for kids to just take a break. Refreshments were available for purchase at $2 per item. You don’t want to miss this event next year! If you have little ones! Thank you to Seth and the team at Appell.

This is a very nice cultural arts hall. The acoustics were very good for the symphony we heard too. If you're bringing small children, there is very graphic art on the walls! The services and concession stand were well attended, but the prices were expensive.

I had surgery and was not granted a refund so sucked it up and went to Wheel of Fortune show and got covid! Customer service there lied to me and said they needed to speak to manager, never got back to me and when I called back concerning refund the very same person now said they are the manager! Smh!!! Don't buy tickets and then have an emergency because they could care less! Then covid to boot! I'm still recovering a month later! 😩

Great venue in York to see a plethora of shows. Been here multiple times for shows of different types. Never a bad show. Saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood comedy show for the most recent performance. Looking forward to the next show there

The venue, even after renovation, has an old and spooky vibe to it. That's actually a cool thing. It's not bad... but also not modern. There's a concessions stand and mini bar at the front which is a nice touch. On the bad side, the seats are very, VERY uncomfortable and I found them small by modern standards. They really should update their searing so that the arm rest/drink holders can at least flip up. I dont know if you've seen York lately but most of us are too big to comfortably sit in these seats for an extended amount of time.

Beautiful venue, but most of the staff is clueless or unhelpful. Was told several times in a condescending manner that my seat didn't exist after the info had been taken down by another staff member. Turns out they wrote the wrong letter down and rather than use their brains to fathom that as a possibility, they kept moving us around all over god's green earth until it got figured out. It was my first time there, how could I have known? Another usher, a very old man complained he couldn't read anything and I had to read him out loud my info. Why is he working there if he can't see things properly? Be warned, the seats are cramped. Extremely cramped. I don't hold anything against this place or any of the nicer staff but I do not feel compelled to return. Also they charge $3 for water, and it's disani. Yikes.

We attended the performance of “The Cher Show” this week at the Appell. The theater is lovely and clean and the ushers are very helpful and courteous. The show itself was SO good, entertaining and visually stunning and the performances were amazing.

This museum is small but definitely worth seeing. They have a good display of artifacts representing the area. There were a good number of places to sit as you navigate the museum. I have very limited mobility and it is important that museums consider that in their layout. They have an elevator to get to each floor. One area that I was disappointed was with the gift shop. It was very small and had little variety. One thing to keep in mind is that they still require you to wear a mask when visiting.

This is a lovely venue for a party rental. We rented it on a Sunday, which was convenient because we got to deliver supplies on Saturday afternoon just before they closed. My 45 guests were impressed with the beauty of the main room, and the sound of the organ as it was played by our organist, Richard Frey. They had plenty of tables and chairs for our set-up, and their kitchen is convenient for catering. The room was filled with light and had ample space for dining and dancing. It was also much more affordable than many of the restaurant banquet rooms and hotels we also looked at when planning our party. It's a unique location that adds a lot of charm to any occasion. It's different from the Ag and Industrial Museum, and it was the better choice for our event. I would definitely rent here again!

We were so caught off guard by this place! I only went in to verify my tickets for the Colonial Complex. We had about 45 minutes and thought we would burn a little bit of time before going over to the tour. It turned out we needed at least twice that time. There were so many things to do and see (ages 9 to Gen X): the grandfather clock collection, the makeshift storefront display, 1950s-1970s York political cartoons (a lot of similar issues today), the one-room schoolhouse, and so much more. The building just kept going! We will definitely be back. The website for all the York history sites was a little hard to navigate, but I'm so glad we did!!

So much to see and learn here!! Who knew so much history was preserved in our area. Was able to learn about history highlighting black desdcansts of York and women suffrage movement in York. Can't wait to go back but you seriously need 3 hours to enjoy the place and we only had 1!

Great museums. There are at least 4 near each other. You pay one price and that gets you into all of them. Only draw back is they close at 4pm. So go early to see all the museums

We had a fantastic experience at the Colonial Complex today with our tour guide John. He was very knowledgeable and brought in personal contexts to make the stories of history more relatable. Highly recommended visit in York!

This was a great Park. I enjoyed all of the hiking trails that I went on (Red, White and Teal Rectangle trails). The Mountain Laurels along the trails were in bloom which was nice. The views from the Observation Decks near the Powerline towers were also great.

Definitely a great stop for Christmas Magic light walk. Plenty to see, plus a bonus indoor train exhibit. Make sure to have cash on hand for snacks and also make sure to reserve tickets in advance. Some days of the week offer a great half off deal plus children 5 and under are free! Enough parking for everyone, bundle up and have fun!

Only been here once or twice in the summer. Winter, they have a great Christmas light display and activity. The lights were fun because you can tell that they have been acquired over the decades. Bigger incandescent light strings, smaller incandescent light string, LED lights . . . Pavilions have a fire places going to warm up by, coco, trains. Easy walking, not sure about wheelchair accessibility but it might be a go. Park Rangers are around to help if needed, pleasant and knowledgable.

Had our grandsons 1st birthday party at the Chipmunk pavilion. Reasonable price for full day rental. Highly satisfied with all they had to offer such as paved walking path, bike trails, bathrooms near by and playground within sight of the pavilion. We even had a deer a few feet away 😊

Good place for a moderate hike. Red trail is 5.5mile with good views from the observation deck.

The Christmas Magic at Rocky Rodge was absolutely beautiful this year! They had more displays, an interactive scavenger hunt, and (of course) the Train House was amazing!

My husband and I had our marriage at the Ruffed Grouse Pavilion and it fits 150 people. Gorgeous space with a stone fireplace accent wall. Not too far from bathrooms, a playarea for the kids, and the little Nature space and walking trails were great for photos! I've also been to several community events here and I just love the space.

Beautiful overlook near the parking lot gave us a wonderful first impression. There are numerous trails from which to choose with varying difficulties. One day here doesn't seem like enough time to explore what this park has to offer. You will not be left wanting more.

Fantastic little park with top notch facilities. With killer tech lines, exhilarating downhills and challenging features, Rocky Ridge Park in York PA is one of my new favorite mountain bike destinations. For a detailed review check out my channel TrailSage.

This is a beautiful and peaceful park to spend a day or some hours. It is clean, safe, and calm. You will find here plenty of benches, pick nick tables, several kids’ playgrounds, a public restroom. Two overview decks open in front of your eyes beautiful views of the surroundings. If you are lucky, while strolling in the park, you might see rabbits, squirrels and hear a lot of birdies. The place was not crowded, however, I visited on Tuesday afternoon. Several large parkings are available in the area. I met some couples, parents with kids, dog owners and single hikers. I followed the “white” path, which went through the forest, it took me around an hour. The path was clean and not very steep, suitable for beginners. You find the map of the paths on the park’s website. Overall, this is a beautiful place if you want to do physical activity in nature or generally rest from city noises, people, cars, etc., however, if you are a tourist and seeking something spectacular, may be you should pick another place.
