Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is a great amusement park! There are so many great roller coasters, rides and water slides. The lines are rarely long but even when or if they are, they move pretty quickly. The park is very big, so be prepared to walk a lot, especially up and down hills and stairs. Great workout though and fresh air! Great food, drinks & ice cream! I have been to many amusement and water parks, Dorney Park definitely ranks as one of my favorites. If you plan on visiting more than two times, I suggest a season pass. Have fun!
Make sure to do alot of research before booking your tickets. I traveled with 5 kids (2 teens 3 under 8). If you are looking for you and your family to make the most of your day like we were, consider purchasing the fast pass. The lines for both water and dry rides must be 45 minutes or greater, so without the fast pass most people just hung out at the wave pool to avoid long lines. The fast pass has both water and dry rides or only water or dry. We also purchased the “all day meal plan” this plan allows you to eat every 90 minutes approx $35. However, we could not make the most of this plan since the line to order food had to be 1-2 hours long. We were only able to use this pass once (waste of money), especially since the park has early closing hours.
My takeaways from this trip:
1. Make sure to buy fast pass for those who will be getting on rides to make the most of your trip
2. You’re better off buying 1 meal plan on the website (long food lines and park closes early to get the most out of the all day meal plan)
3. Make sure to buy the souvenir cups for unlimited soda, juice or water refills.
4. Buy a waterproof phone case on Amazon (Dorney park charges $30-$40)
5. They have the Carnival event happening and you’re able to enjoy food from around the world (nothing spectacular about the “cultural” food)
6. They stop serving beer at 6pm make sure to get your drinks in early
7. Plant snoopy for smaller children does not accept fast pass so don’t waste your money if you have small children
there are two types of people in the eyes of amusement parks: type 1, those who love them and type 2, those who cannot stand them. I am one of the latter. Please determine which type you are before you enter and prepare accordingly. Type 1 people, i think you will have a blast. for someone who doesn’t like amusement parks, Dorney is a pleasant surprise. It is clean and seems safety checked and double checked. If you have children and live nearby, get a season pass. so you could spend 2 hours when it is not crowded and come back again. 8 hours in a park for Type 2 will be too much. Most of us come just because we are chaperoning the children. keep them within sight. there are a lot of teenagers and high school boys roaming around. In general, i stepped in for the first time and did not die. I am even contemplating of coming back so i could watch the kids. Food price is high and not healthy, for season pass holders, pack a little snack and some water, come back more often. if you are only coming once, eat the unhealthy food and have a ball.
I bought my season pass last year as soon as I found out that kids up to five were free. We did go a few times in the summer but so many people! Now it's is October they have the Halloween theme and it is so much fun. Keep in mind the kid rides are closed but my five years old loves it. The fog and so many characters dressed up walking round trying to scare you, but when they saw my daughter since her age they would all talk and dance And sing with her . Really one night I will never forget with her!
Not a bad park. To get the best out of it, you'll need two days I think.
The parking fee is ridiculous, it should be included in the admission fee. If your into thrill rides, this is for you.
Nice smaller rides too though.

Smaller than six flags but definitely has a certain charm to it that makes me love it. Such a fun park and they have the peanuts characters! THEY SHOULD ALSO BRING SNOOPY OUT MORE JUST SAYING
I always love visiting Dorney Park! From water rides, to flag rides, roller coasters, and kid rides, there’s definitely something for everyone at this park. The lines for regular rides (including roller coasters) were very short. You could pretty much walk up to each ride and get right on. The lines for the Waterpark were much longer.
The park was very clean and safe. There were security officers walking around the whole park.
I was especially impressed by the ride operators. They were all very pleasant and cheerful. Their energy marched that of some Disney cast members.
Highly recommend visiting Dorney Park if you ever find yourself in the Allentown area! Make sure you ride Possessed while you’re there!
Park was great. There are all kinds of rides for young kids to teens to adults. Good food/snack options. No wait at the entry, though, it was crowded as some reviews have mentioned for Saturdays. We will go again. One thing I didn't like was that a lot of people block seats with towels or their stuff, and kind of rude about it.
Dorney Park’s Haunt event is amazing!! The rides barely have lines, the staff is awesome , and there’s just so much to see and do! I took my 5 yr old, and two 9 year olds, with more than enough to do Halloween wise and so on. Definitely highly recommend this amusement park. The only thing I disliked, was the price of the food, which is always expensive in these kinds of parks, as well as the insane amount of traffic exiting the parking lot once we were leaving. All in all, wound definitely go back in a heartbeat!!
Came here with 4 kids, ages 12, 9, 5, and 2. There is alot to do here for everyone. We came during the Haunt nights. The pumpkin fest was a bit of a let down. Waited in line for an hour for face painting. They set the pumpkin fest up in the water park area. There wasn't very much to do there. But in the other sections of the park, there was Snoopy's Planet which had so much to do for little kids. Lines were about a 15 minute wait on average. Not horrible.
The rest of the park was nice as well. My 9 year old went on my of the coasters. She lived all of them. The wild mouse had the longest wait time of 45 minutes (which was too much for us), so we bought fast passes. We were able to use the fast passes on the Wild mouse 3 times but then went to the carnival section and the guy refused to let us on without wrist bands. I found one shop that had one wrist band. And when I found a second wrist band they wouldn't give it to me without my child present because they have to put them on in the store in front of the employees. I explained she wouldn't come to the store because of the clowns lurking outside and he still refused. He told me to go somewhere without clowns and get a wrist band then, which if you've been here meant going back towards the entrance and we had gone in that direction for the mine shaft ride.
Anyways, it's not a horrible experience, but you definitely want to buy the fast passes at the beginning of the day.
I've been a season pass holder for many years now, and have witnessed several different changes in the park. Last year, I didn't make it out due to the pandemic, and this year, I was finally able to make it out for Haunt. The normal season operating hours of closing at 7pm, have robbed me of my normal park visiting time. I work far away, and sometimes we would go to the park just after 7pm and enjoy a few rides. With the new hours I couldn't even make it to the park until Haunt. And Haunt was a disappointment compared to years past. The Bayou attraction was the only decent area, followed by Necropolis, but the rest were understaffed and frankly boring. I'm pretty sure we're not going to buy passes again for next year, unless they have a super-special discount. If the park isn't open when I can attend, that sort of defeats the purpose of the season pass....
It's the best of both worlds, part amusement park with Riley coaster 🎢 rides and half water park. Great food options if you willing to walk about. I recommend simply buying the $18 cup with unlimited refills you can thank me later. Is it me or does a lot of staff look alike?
It would be nice if the was signage indicating the direction toward the exit. none whatsoever. maybe something to consider incorporating Dorney. It was surpassingly empty, the lines weren't long at all. especially for a Saturday. I was very grateful for this. bring your own water, don't waste money where you don't have to. they don't care if you bring your own snacks either. the bag check process isn't that rigorous.
We came to this area of Pennsylvania to visit Dorney Park and Hershey park. Dorney Park was very nice. That evening it was extremely busy. They have their Halloween Haunt which was very well done. It's a really nice looking park that has a decent array of rides. I came for the roller coasters and enjoyed myself very much.
I love visiting the park, but only when I'm not too busy. I can't wait for next summer! I hope to meet Franklin! And they really should give a meet list for the Peanuts Gazebo in the app and website! That’s what I wish.
Crowded but very enjoyable. A lot of different rides. Get to the park early and enjoy both parks. The price is really good right now. I can’t wait for the new thrill ride to open up. I would definitely recommend getting a locker to place your stuff. I like how they have cubbies before each ride. The waits weren’t that bad on a Saturday and the amount of rides we went on within that time were really amazing. Definitely end a busy day with the Ferris wheel with great views of the park
It is a fantastic experience. The children will have a lot of fun, they have a wide variety of games, both the water park and the amusement park, highly recommended
Dorney Park is a great place to take your family and friends. It has filled with all types of rides. Kids section is separate and my 5 year old kid enjoyed each ride. The park is well-maintained and the carnival festival makes it more attractive (if you stay little late in night). It also haves plenty of food options. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our day. We especially enjoyed the river ride, wave pool etc., which offered a refreshing break from the heat. Overall, Dorney Park is a fantastic destination for families with kids of all ages, and we will sure visit again in future. It cost more if you are going in weekend. Also, locker and parking charges are bit higher so be prepare for that.
Haven't Ben to dorney in years. Was very impressed the park was clean. We went during the Haunt and all the actors were awesome. Had a blast. Definitely recommend a visit to the park.

Coca Cola Park is one of the best parks in minor league baseball. The park opened in 2008, hosting the Phillies AAA affiliate, and has consistently won awards for their food, promotions, customer service, and other aspects that make a trip to see the Iron Pigs such a treat.
After fourteen years, the staff continues to deliver quality, family entertainment at an incredible price. There are giveaways throughout the season, bobblehead nights are always popular. The park has hosted Phillies alumni and legends, movie and TV stars, and other celebrity guests for VIP meet & greets.
There is a great selection of craft beers in the beer garden located near section 108. Cocktails, craft spirits, wine, ciders, and other beverages are available around the park. There are two outfield bars, Tiki Terrace on left field and Kylr Bar and Bacon Strip on right field concourses.
A highlight of games is the Pork Race where fans can cheer on their favorite pork-themed mascot; Diggity Dog, Barbie Q, Ribby, Chris P. Bacon, and the fan-favorite Hambone. Ferrous and FeFe entertain before and during the game and are available for pictures during the 6th and 7th innings.
There is a variety of great food, including outside vendors like the Gyro Company, makers of the best Gyro in the Lehigh Valley, and the Philly Pretzel Factory, makers of great pretzels. There is a gluten-free stand that offers a delicious variety of foods. There are also some Philly favorites like cheese steaks.
The chef for Coca Cola Park makes a variety of pork dishes, playing on the name of the team, including a layered parfait of turkey and mashed potatoes, Walking Taco (beef, cheese, salsa, and sour cream over a bag of nacho cheese tortilla chips), and a Bacon Brownie Sunday. Open year round, the team store has a lot to offer from jerseys and hats to plush toys and novelties.

Tuesdays! We had a BLAST! Parking was convenient. Prices were reasonable. The park itself is pretty much immaculate. Even the lawn was full and flush! Thank you for such a great night! 🙏 🐕 ⚾️ 🐷
Great option for a good evening evergreen if you are not a huge baseball fan. Lots of food and beer options. Tickets are affordable, and they have bring your dog to the park games.
Really nice stadium, good food and drinks. I was honored on salute to veterans night and received a great gold Ironpigs jersey that was embroidered with my name and number.

What a fantastic experience. We rented a dugout suite for a "bucket list" event for a family member. The service was top notch. Chad from the Ironpigs could not have been more helpful. We are truly grateful for all of his hard work helping us organize the event. Also, Jennifer from the Ironpigs was tremendously helpful. She was constantly checking in with us, making sure the food was replenished, & seeing if we needed anything. We cannot thank Chad, Jennifer, and everyone from the Ironpigs enough. We are already discussing making this a yearly family outing. In the mean time, we will be attending individual games at Coca-Cola Park. It is a great ballpark. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and it is a very affordable family friendly place to go to enjoy a ball game.

I was very impressed by Coca-Cola Park. For a minor league stadium, this place has so much to offer and is very advanced. There’s plenty of seating, an activity section for kids, convenient parking, a lot of food options, stores, games, and more. The stadium itself is very modern looking, clean, and visually appealing. I particularly like how there’s an expansive outfield lawn to sit on and a little food court plaza near the main entrance. Throughout the stadium, there’s always a fun, festive ambiance. After the game I attended, I was even able to enjoy a post-game firework show. Everything about my visit to this stadium was excellent, and I highly recommend attending a ball game here.
Extremely family friendly! Different events and themes every game. They give away themed items. Tickets are inexpensive. Clean environment. Kids that aren't baseball fans can have a good time with the entertaining inning changes where they have mini games, music, etc.
This stadium overall is a fun family atmosphere. There are tons of interactive activities with fans and children. Every Tuesday is bring your dog to the park night, which is great for dog lovers ❤️.
The ticket prices are reasonable and the park is well kept and maintained! Come check it out!

First time at this ball field for a game. Very nice, well kept and clean. We were there for EMS Week, and had an entire private section that was catered buffet style. Outside of that, I would return. For another game. Fireworks at the end were a nice touch and decent but nothing spectacular, the kids enjoyed it for sure.
This was my first time here and to a triple A Baseball game. I had a lot of fun. Food was great and seats were awesome plus the Iron Pigs won the baseball game. Fireworks after were great, very family oriented and even had a spot designed for the kids.
I can’t say enough good things about the affordable family fun with the Iron Pigs team- Matthew was amazing helping my daughter ring the iron! Food is cooked correctly and the games are always interactive with songs & games
My favorite place to catch a ball game. Inexpensive, accessible, and ample parking. If you like ballpark food, bring your appetite! There’s always lots going on besides the ball game at this AAA field. All around fun!
Overall it was a nice experience for the 4th of july fireworks show. Tickets weren't expensive. The food was priced reasonably as well. I do wish they would have invested more money in the actual fireworks show. To be honest it felt borderline amateur. But was a good night nonetheless
Home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Phillies AAA affiliate. Parking is $5, and there are lots of concessions to choose from at affordable prices. Very family friendly, General admission is only $8, and you can sit in the lawn right below the scoreboard, which offers the best view of the field in my opinion.

We were there for Monster Jam and it was a blast all around! But the PPL center itself was clean, easily accessible, parking was simple, not over crowded, and they put on a good show. Can't complain!
Attended the Greta Van Fleet show last night, Oct 1 . The show was absolutely amazing! The two opening acts were great! Greta… incredible! Love them more n more each time i see them. The venue had some organization issues but the staff handled things fairly and safely. My daughter and i were in the pit and security did their job removing people who had difficulty following rules , handing out bottles of water and keeping an eye on the pit crowd.
Excellent venue to watch a hockey game. The service is great along with the seating. It’s a little bit crowded to get in and out of. There are many restaurants and it has a great merchandise shop.
Saw Lamb of God with Trivium and Megadeath here. Pretty cool venue for this kind of show. Had a parking garage for $10 about a block away. Very easy to get into venue. Area around venue is a little sketchy but not too bad, felt safer than Philly. Drinks were expensive but that was sort of expected I guess. Will definitely come back if they keep having these kinds of bands come through.

1ST time at this arena. Traffic and location sucks! Was lucky enough to get parking in the arena garage.
Like any of these things, merchandise is rediculous expensive. So are the foods.
Seating is great if ya pick right ones.
The seats are very tight, close together.
But I guess to maximize the amount of people.
Overall was an awesome experience inside to enjoy MONSTER JAM!
Would go there again, but definitely allow more time for traffic and finding parking, and then going through security check/ metal detectors.
Attending the Janet Jackson Together Again Tour at the PPL Center was absolutely AMAZING, & we had thee BEST time!! Even though there was an enormous crowd, we were able to enter the venue & go through security in a reasonable amount of time. We had floor seats, which were comfortable & not too crowded. The PPL Center is located within walking distance of several restaurants & hotels. Parking near the venue is really inexpensive.
Nice arena with not a bad seat in the house. WWE house show was fun and the crowd was energized and enthusiastic. Looking forward to watching a Phantoms game there in the future.
Nice venue. Easy parking garage access not too far away. My kids enjoyed the monster trucks.

Beautiful, newer arena. The concessions are terrible, however. If you're planning your visit and meals based on the website, don't bother. A few of the food stands are either gone completely or weren't open. Traveled about 3 hours to come for a Phantoms game, won't be back. Plenty of parking garages around. Comfortable seats, but some bad ones. Ours were up against a wall, so we moved to an empty section we weren't ticketed for.
Parking is close by and convenie t. Multiple exits fir safety. Security staff was on top of things. Seats were comfortable. Many food options. Restrooms are impeccable clean and ample. Concourse handles good sized crowds. Definitely recommended venue.
Place was great. Be prepared to wait in line. Get there early. Park in the garage, it is only a few blocks away. Worth it. Nice size turnout. They sale food and drink.( I didn't try any but heard it is good) My seats were great!
We came to see Monster Jam and it did not disappoint! The center was nice and clean and pretty easy to navigate! The show was amazing too. The center was freezing cold though, don't know if it's always like that or it was just for this show but bring a sweater just in case!
The PPL Center is a modern facility with lots of amenities. Right in the middle of downtown Allentown, it's easy to get to with parking garages within easy walking distance. Great views, good food, and good shows with top entertainers. Also, home to the Flyers minor league affiliate the Phantoms. Great time, and we will definitely go back.
Awesome stadium! Great fan support! Amazing facilities, food, seating! You must see the LV Phantoms! Parking attached to Arena is very convenient. Only drawback is the parking elevator. Only one, so skip it going back to your car and take the stairs. Great pre-season game vs the Hershey Bears!
Hi highly recommended PPL Centre. Located in the heart of Allentown, this premise is the entertainment hub. I recently watch the home team Phantoms 👻 Winning a hickey game. The VIP lounges offers a stunning view of the game, unbelievable soround system as well. Food courts available as well, you can order from your comfort of your set by the App. Highly recommended 💪🏻💪🏻🎉🎉🎉
We were invited to a hockey game by a business associate. They had a season ticket for a sky box. There was a small buffet of food layer out. The food was good. The food was Mexican style. Then a dessert cart came around to each of the boxes with cake and ice cream. There were drinks available, non and alcoholic. The game was great. The Phantoms ending up winning. Overall a great experience.
The arena itself is clean and modern. Seats were comfortable and view was great from section 112 row 9. Parking was a nightmare. There was no traffic control and the traffic on the surrounding streets were at a standstill. It took us 35 minutes to go the last two miles and get into the parking lot. They seemed underprepared for a sold out Disney on Ice show. Parking can be prepaid in advance, but you still have to wait in the same lines as those who don't prepay. The parking lot attached to the building cost $8 and was credit card only. We ended up only 5 minutes late for the show, but there were plenty of empty seats for the first half of the show. Leave plenty of extra time to get there. The food was standard mediocre stadium food. It was reasonably priced. $12 for a cheeseburger and fries. $5 for an all beef hot dog and $2 for a bottle of water. Everything was cashless. I appreciated the availability of the allergy friendly options, but the staff were not properly prepared to handle an allergy order. They had to get two managers to show me ingredients for the gluten free bun (which I'm grateful they took the time to do), when I confirmed the gluten free bun was safe one of the staff went to just unwrap a premade regular hot dog to take the hot dog off and put on the gluten free bun. Thankfully the manager stopped her, but for someone with a severe wheat allergy that could have been a major problem.
So much fun! Highly recommend to check out their event calendar for a variety of events, sports, family-friendly events. Always easy travel and plenty of parking garage options within only a few blocks for an easy walk to the Center. Good food and drink options around the Center (inside and outside around Allentown). We were up in one of the box units last night. Can accommodate 17 people and good for corporate events, family parties or any type of celebration.

This was a great place to visit. There were a lot of interesting classic cars on display. The signage describing each car was excellent. The Mack truck exhibit was also interesting. There were also a lot of auto inspired artwork, models and memorabilia on display.
Incredible experience for a low price. This museum needs a few hours at the least to take in all the wonders! Seriously...I'm a "used to didn't care about cars" but wow wow. I'm just in awe at the evolution of wheels and transportation after being thru this place. It's absolutely incredible. The people there have great care for this place and each piece represented! It's truly incredible to see! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
America On Wheels Museum is a great museum in Allentown that displays classic cars, trucks and motorcycles from the past through to present times. It’s a decent size with wonderful exhibits. They are usually not extremely crowded. The staff is friendly and loves to share their knowledge. It usually takes around an hour or so to go through it all. I’ll definitely be coming back. You can save money on the entrance fee by using Groupon!
Wow, wow, wow!! This place blew me away! First visit for myself, my husband had brought our kids here one day when I was working. The cars, the staff, the facility were top notch! The gentlemen there were so knowledgeable with fun facts; you can really tell they enjoy being there and sharing with the public. The cars tell a story, too! Just a really fun, family-friendly place that is just wonderful. I can't wait to go back!
Great exhibits the staff was amazing and the cars were in amazing shape and displays. The scavenger hunt in the back exhibit was awesome for adults and children.
Great place to visit if you're in the Allentown area. It ran me 15 dollars for two adults with my AAA membership. Kids get in free. Parking was free. Some interactive exhibits. Lots of things to read and look at. Bathrooms were clean. Gift shop was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Make it a point to visit this nice museum if you are in the area.

I forget what days during the week it is but you can take a guided tour across the street to a complete working auto restoration shop.
The guide is very informative and makes experience fun and interesting.
Everyone at the museum and across the street involved are pleasant,knowledgeable, and open to answer questions you may have regarding the exhibit and history of the automobile.

This museum was so impressive. Staffed by knowledgeable and friendly docents who have hands-on experience with the wheels on display, I went expecting a few cars on display (which, to be honest, I would have been fine visiting) and came away seeing a fun, lively, well-designed, interesting, and truly thoughtful historic display of the various wheels that travel our highways, the fuels that have and will power them, the processes to get them ready, and the pure joy and celebration of going fast on your choice of wheels down an open road. If you are in the area (or if you want to see some lovingly restored vehicles and support a great museum and can make a road trip) stop by for a few hours. This is an awesome place.
What a gem this place is! Clean, well kept, organized and knowledgeable personnel is at the top of the list. From the very first electric car, to hydrogen powered vehicles this place has it covered. You and the kids would love it.

This was my first fish hatchery and I wasn't disappointed. There's thousands of fish that consist of several species of trout in several pounds, protected from predators by a net. The water is a little dark in some areas and it's a little hard to see the fish without crouching down. People can buy fish food for a dollar and feed the trout. Signs explain the the hatchery as well as the species present. There's also a nature trail on a hill behind the hatchery and a small creek for catch and release fishing. There isn't a charge to enter.
It's a nice & pleasant place to relax & learn about the various stages of trout life & how the workers contain the trout according to size. There is signage placed around so you know exactly what your feeding & plenty of benches & a pavilion to rest at. There is also a bathroom near the main building which offers an incredible introduction to various fishes caught such as a BIGMOUTH BASS & even a PIRANHA! *Also* try your hand at The Wishing Well & of course purchase some fish food, snack, & drink! Lastly, this establishment is pet friendly just don't forget the leash... *Great place for a field trip!*
It’s a cool experience to see all the trout and the creek nearby. Make sure to have $1 bills to get some fish food. Feeding the fish is very fun.
😁 visiting this place was awesome, the only bad thing was the weather but other than that I had a great time. Sending all the trout there and feeding them too. A nice little area to bring the kids and young teenagers too. Bring a nice little basket for picnic there and let the little ones run around and enjoy themselves. Also the scenery is nice too.
The first time I’ve been here. It’s the best place for kids to play around and observe fishy. Your kids will definitely love this place. The atmosphere is so fresh and peace. I will come back❤️
Popular park for families to visit a trout nursery along the Little Lehigh River. It's just upstream from the Lenape Indian Museum and Bogarts Covered Bridge.

My son loves to feed the fish and they have these huge birds here like 4ish feet tall that come sometimes out of the year that are awesome to see
Not a long visit but a great one. Bring lots of quarters so you can feed the fish! A buck per bag made my daughter happy as a free trout for about 20 bucks and about an hour of feeding the fish.
It's a beautiful peaceful place and you can feed the fish and there is families, couplesn that come and be by yourself. You can take a walk up the hill. ❤️🐟
This has been a “special place” for my granddaughter and I for the past 11 years. I live out of the area but whenever we are in the area we have to stop and feed the fish and take our yearly pictures. Always clean. Fish food always available either in the store or in the vending machine outside next to it. Bathroom availability also.
Bring your fishing rods, pack a lunch, and put on your walking shoes. If your looking for something inexpensive to do with the family, this is it! Beautiful, and the kids as well as myself enjoy feeding the fish and learning about the different types of fish and fun facts! There’s a trail to walk around as well as eat your lunch! I thought it was really neat how they have a stream where you are allowed to fish! We come here multiple times a year and always make great memories. We absolutely love coming here! But don’t forget the hand sanitizer!!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO GO! Nice calm place to just sit and enjoy nature without the sound of a center city. There is signs around showing you how everything works. There is also a walking trail if you don't wanna be next to fish. You can feed the fish. There is a venting machine that you can buy small bags of fish pelts. A small bag cost $.50 and a larger bag cost $1.00.
I have been coming to this hatchery for over 50 yrs. I can honestly say this place is always clean well ran & organized.

I'm from Lancaster, so I enjoyed seeing so many shops from my hometown here in Allentown! The NY Pickle stand is a MUST visit. So good! Miss Little Korea is another stand that is worth the wait, because the food is amazing. I highly recommend the kimchi fried rice, fried chicken bao buns, and the handmade dumplings. The other food looked great as well, but that is what we ordered for our meal!
As always excellent. So many choices. Amish "open air" dinner, diner was really good. New stands: Scotty's shore shack, excellent sea food. Italian stand east end (toward Ritz) near the market. Authentic, very fresh unique products.
The Allentown Farmers Market has an exceptional number of stores & purveyors of FRESH Seafood, Various Meets, Cheeses, Wine, Vegetables & just about everything else you could possibly desire! There are a multitude of various cultural eateries that will surely suffice any cravings you could manifest. The Fairgrounds also feature scheduled events (both indoor & out) such as: MONSTER TRUCKS, AUTOMANIA, HOME SHOW, & THE ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW to begin... Additionally, every September marks THE GREAT ALLENTOWN FAIR which is an enormous hit for the family, solo traveler, or a group of friends.
I LOVE this place!! It is a little bit of a ride for us, about 45 minutes, but it is worth it. You can get the best meats that you ever had from the the butcher's there and at a fraction of the cost in any grocery store. Fresh picked fruit and vegetables and fresh baked bread. That is only the beginning. Check it out, you won't be sorry. Bring insulated bags, and cash. Some vendors do not take plastic.
Probably one of the best farmers markets I've ever visited. Very clean, wide aisles. Many varied stands with a wide variety of foods from PA Dutch to Mediterranean and many more. The meats and produce looked amazing(and I'm accustomed to Lancaster(Pa) markets which are outstanding. Two thumbs up 👍
Very good place to go for just about everything and anything. Ample parking and very big.
This is a local joint. I doubt there's anyone in the area that isn't well aware of this place.
So the building is in immediate need of repairs and updating. Inside you'll find a wide variety of little shops. You find anything from toms of food options to overpriced produce to a dollar store to craft shops to wine and liquor shops. Prices varied from excellent to way overpriced.
This is definitely not a destination location. But if you're in the area and got some time to kill it's certainly worth stopping by and wandering around for a while. The people are super nice and there's tons of stuff to check out. But it isn't worth going out of your way.
This is the most extravagant farmers market on this side of the Mississippi. With 65 vendors and countless international food options This is the farmer's market to visit!
Honestly this could be a reason to move to Allentown by itself. Full of so many different types of flavors and different types of shops you don't know where to go first. I come here for the pinball but I stay for the farmers market. Make it a point to visit every time you are near.
plenty of parking along with a fairly large variety of merchants offering a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. there's also local butcher shops that make their own various types of sausage , jerky and do their own food prep at their local shops. haircuts , wine , ready made pizza and BBQ chicken are all available. there seems to be a growing number of merchants offering items not usually associated with a farmers market.
We got some dog treats, and based on the reviews we also tried the Amish pretzels (absolute amazing), and the BBQ (delicious). To top it off, we found shoofly pie here. Overall a great experience and will visit again if we are in the area.
Historic farmer's market that features a great selection of produce, meat, seafood, and a gazillion other items. The Vitamin store has a great selection of supplements and Dr. Bronner's soaps at great prices. PLUS they have an international selection of prepared food such a Luan's Vietnamese Bistro and a stand with Polish delicacies. Try it!
This place is excellent! A true farmers market. Long time butchers, bakeries, Amish food, a bunch of ethnic stalls including Vietnamese, Korean, Polish, German, Middle Eastern, etc. Just a great place. Only open Thurs, Fri, Sat. Deserves to be open 5 days a week!!
Scotty's Shore Shack. Delicious grilled cheese, Cheesteak sandwich, yes it was ooey, gooey delicious. Pork and Sauerkraut was good too, potatoes were underseasoned, needed salt and pepper. Very friendly staff.
We used to get great deals. You still can you gotta look though. Wife and I grab the deals we know of and a bite to eat then we're out. The candy store has a good variety of diabetic friendly candy.
This market have a lot of different store and places to you can choose your vegetables, fruit, flowers, meat, fish,bakery and more totally recommended 🤩
Absolutely amazing! I wish there was something like this in my state. I had heard about this place from podcasts of those who had been to Pinfest. This was my first year attending and checking out the Farmers Market is a must do. So many places to buy great food either to eat right there or fresh meats to cook at home. Just thinking about it makes me hungry.
There's a friendly sign on the door asking not to take photos without the store owners permission. For the pics below I did get permission.
Love this spot, BUT they need to get better at keeping it clean next time just look up, and you will see what I'm talking about, they have time Sunday to Wednesday to get a cleaning crew in and get the work done. Remember your selling food, the building should be clean who knows what's dropping down in your food
We felt like kids in a candy store! There was a lot of oohing and aahing and pointing.. and wow, look at that! There's even a local winery spot to sit down and have a nice glass of wine ..or just walk around and sip. Theres pleny if parking and its a friendly atmosphere. The only thing better than being there was going home and sampling our loot! You will NOT be disappointed.
I'll never travel to Allentown without this trip planner again
