We very much enjoyed the Casino, and affordable place to eat. Had a great time playing the slots, staff was very friendly, very clean machines, and nice bathrooms! We went 2 nights because we had so much fun! They need more handicapped parking closer to the entrance however. We highly recommend going there! Next time we go we may stay at their hotel.

The casino has changed ownership so much. They've stopped announcing jackpots, not thrilled over that. The promotions have been reduced drastically. I will say, the partnership they have with the local hotels are nice. Our stay at pear tree Inn was awesome !!!::

Nice place to go to a concert which I did Sunday night

I'm not a gambler, but I wanted to try it out. I was not disappointed. When I stopped to get my card when I got there, the lady was very pleasant and walked me through everything pertinent when I told I had never gambled anywhere like this before. The young man at the bar was very helpful about showing me how to use the machines there at the bar. The whole place and experience was really cool. And it doesn't hurt that I came out ahead!

New to blackjack. Dealers were helpful. Miss Kayla was outstanding....She was very well versed in all the table games, was incredibly hospitable yet professional. She even advised us on how to play individual hands when asked. Incredibly charming....delightful person...the captain and I broke even, but left feeling like winners...Thank you Kayla...We'll be back!

Lots of slot machines with a good variety of games. You win some and lose some! Hopefully today’s donation will keep the lights on for a little while ;) short drive to cape from south East Missouri. Friendly staff. A new hotel is being built on site. Looks to be 6 stories high.

The only reason I am giving four stars is because a lot of the games were down when I came in. And only one ATM was working. Other than that, the other few times I’ve been in it was a lot of fun! The staff are always sweet. I came in for my birthday and everyone was happy!

This was my second time dining at this restaurant. The first was hands down 5 stars all around. I was not impressed on my most recent visit. The wedge salad was mostly the worst part of the lettuce and not enough blue cheese dressing. The bacon was cold and burnt. Shrimp was good, but the sauce was so rich I couldn't finish it.

Update.. Valentines day 2024.. i had an amazing filet, cooked to perfection. My husband had the Trout. We both truly enjoyed our meal. This time, the Chefs wife spent some time with us. She is very friendly and i enjoyed talking with her. We had truffles for dessert.. mouth watering.(2023)We went to the Beacon 53 restaurant for an early Valentines Day dinner. The food was superb and the atmosphere was excellent. We truly enjoyed our experience. Chef Robert came out to talk to us. He told me how to make the fruit tart that i found so delicious. . Our waiter was perfect. He was very attentive and helpful. It was a bit expensive, but we were expecting it to be. It was the best dinner we have had in a very long time.

5 Stars all around! Just recently moved to the area and had never been to a Casino before. Doing something for the first time can be intimidating, but Century made it a fun and exceptional experience. The slots are varied and enjoyable, but the table games are where this place shines. While the number is limited, the staff are the highlight. Austin and Janice were very polite and patient with me. They helped me figure out 3 card Poker enough that I played a few hands and walked out with some money. I will definitely be back. An extra shout out to the ladies at the Winner's Circle as well. They do a great job explaining the rewards program and answering any questions you may have. If you are ever in Cape Girardeau and want to have a good time, definitely check out Century Casino. You will not be disappointed.

The pharmacy is most definitely not recommended the techs either rude or takes forever . My friends and I love Walgreens but the pharmacy is a headache. I notice new techs maybe they are seeking approval but as of today I will be switching from the pharmacy. I’ve tried with them but it seems the service is always a challenge at the window.

A year ago I would have given them a five-star rating. And honestly, Walgreens pharmacy still has wonderful pharmacists, kind and courteous techs, and nice, helpful staff. However, I'm concerned about this store. I have been going here since 2015 and I have seen some significant changes like the shelves not being stocked and faced. I went today to pick up my prescriptions and I had a list of other items I wanted to buy. Some shelves were completely bare. I just wanted some Gas-X or the generic. None. Matter a fact, that entire section looked empty. Seriously, are you guys going out of business?

Made online order and didn't know how to go about it and my phone died. So I let it charge and went in the store to look if they had something. Went out to get my phone and a worker was standing at the door watching me and when I got out she told me she was trying to see if I was meeting somebody. Weird but got my online order. Very uncomfortable

It was one of the only places open on Christmas Eve. The young lady at the register was very friendly and upbeat. Found some good Christmas stuff on clearance for a good price.

The pharmacy closes today at 5:00 pm, due to short stuff. It’s bad things to the customers. Because they customers are usually sick.

I am giving a 3 star rating simply because of the pharmacy's hours. It's hard enough to make to the pharmacy on time before they close. Walgreens went from being a 24-hour pharmacy to closing at 6pm on most nights, even now being CLOSED ON A SATURDAY!! I MEAN COME ON!! That is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT!! 😩 I always liked the fact that you all were at open at least until 8pm! At least in most other locations anyway, they still are. And by the way, y'all need to change your hours on Google! Because it still says your pharmacy is open 24-hours!! Obviously, that's not true! 🙄 Other than the inconvenient hours, the staff IS ALWAYS very helpful, friendly, and professional. ❤️

I have always used Walgreens in the past, and I’ve had rather good experiences. However, This experience changed my perspective. While I do enjoy being able to call and check on the app whenever my prescription is ready, I have had a tough time getting my location for my main pharmacy changed, and every time I call the phone number, I am always redirected to another line. I was redirected for different times today. Then, I went into the store and nicely asked for my prescription to be refilled. The girl refill Duron’s prescription, which could’ve been my fault, but then she proceeded to tell me that I would have to go cut contact the other store for them to switch my prescription over. I told her I had called multiple times, and she said she would help me get someone to help me further. Then, She never showed back up and never requested for anybody to come help me. I am very disappointed in my services here.

Staff was absloutly unwilling to help me find an item. I knew it was in stock as the website says, they instead it was not and refused to help me look for it. I ordered it online for pick up and they magically found the product I was looking for. This is why I shop at CVS.

Went in tonight to get my husband and my prescription before leaving town for a week. Pharmacy closed at 6 because of low staff. Now I have to go 5 days with my mess. Start paying a decent wage so you can hire reliable staff.

I have always used Walgreens but will be changing. Mis managed most people work till 5 pm and they close at 6 and it shouldn’t take 4 hours to fill a prescription. Terrible customer service!!

The Conservation Center is a wonderful place to go to bond with friends and family while learning about Missouri's natural history. Along with the Nature Center there are plenty of trails leading through the area through protected woods, allowing you a nature walk without leaving too far from Cape.

This is a fantastic place to visit and get in touch with nature. The trails are so beautiful. I just love the pond with so many lily pads. I took a video, but can't edit until I get home. Here are some pictures of things I saw inside that were interesting. There are many more awesome things that I did not photograph.

Great facility, nice staff. Another MDC treasure. I attended a seminar here. The rooms were comfortable and the technology worked. It was nice to explore their exhibits and watch the wildlife while on breaks. We Missourians are so lucky to have such a great conservation department.

We make this stop every time we go to cape. It has so much cool and informative stuff and it's also great for kids of all ages! I can't believe it's free. They also have fairly regular events there. Thank you mo doc for such a great fun and educational experience!

This is one of the best nature centers you can visit. Plenty of hands on activities and wonderful displays. The nature viewing area is set up so nice. A few hiking trails and a "story" trail which is great fun with children. Picnic pavilions in the property, playground and fishing. Truly wonderful place.

They are getting trail medallions for hiking sticks soon (think early 2022) but we enjoyed a nice mild 1 mile hike. We stopped in at the main building, but our main goal were the trails behind it. There are multiple short loop and out-and-back trails here included a "disability accessible" trail that is paved and wide enough to accommodate most anyone. The "outer loop" includes part of their most difficult trail that is only difficult due to the slopes that must be traversed. Beautiful in the fall. It's also covered in informational signs and markers. Perfect for younger kids. For those nearby, it does connect with the Cape La Croix trail (paved from what I could see) on the back end of the Paw Paw Valley trail.

This park has miles of well maintained trails along with a state of the art nature center that has numerous educational areas and activities for kiddos. We come here multiple times a week and always find something new inside or outside. The photo is of the swamp on one of the trails. If you zoom in, you can see a turtle sitting on the log.

Beautiful park and neat exhibits inside the building about local plants and animals, hunting, fishing, and Native Americans. Looks like some nice wooded trails to walk, but I haven’t yet.

This place is a must-see if you visit the Cape Girardeau area. The exhibits are beautiful and informative. Your children will love the live, two-headed black snake, as well as the interactive displays and climb through beaver den. There are wonderful hiking trails to take you into nature as well.

Beautiful facility. Darlene was very helpful answering my questions. The lawns, beds and feeders were all taken care of. We enjoyed our quick visit to the center and the adjoining monuments. Well done. Right off 61 GRR.

Nice free stop with the kids to learn more about nature and history in SE Missouri. Was too cold to do the lake it trails, but both looked really nice. Lots of hands on exhibits and chances to touch and feel animal skins. A handful of aquarium with snakes, lizards, gosh and frogs. Really nice spot indoors to sit and watch the birds feeding outside. We did not check out the movie in the auditorium. Small gift shop in side. Highlight for the kids was the two headed snake.

Some pros and cons with this park. Pros would be the staff is kind, there was a play ground for the kids, the animals were fun and personable to watch, and there is a variety of activities you can do. Which brings me to the cons: in my opinion it is too expensive for what you get. $20 is the cost for one adult and a toddler to just see the animals. If you want to do the activities it gets more expensive. I do think feeding the animals should just be included, maybe a free souvenirs to make it more worth it. My kid and I only spent an hour here, and we saw all the animals several times. Even had an ice cream break... so my biggest criticism is the pricing. But I do need to add that the animals shelters were small in my opinion.. so if it is that expensive I think they need to put the animals in bigger living spaces. There was a lot of land here so I think it has better potential for the future. I think it's honestly worth $5 per person.

was very fun for all who like to feed farm animals or just see them , there was a baby Kangaroo. Also a peacock was running around. also very cool birds .One said Hello. and one let me pet it and grabbed my finger and shook my hand ✋. also some other animals. really cool place.

This is such a unique place! First time here and we really loved it. There are so many animals that are normally not able to be seen. I can't wait to edit and post my video on YouTube.

I came here over 2 years ago and it was full and I thought it was worth the money but recently brought my daughter and friend here and it’s so run down now we didn’t even spend 30 min there and left. Everything is filthy and rundown and I was honestly very concerned for some of the animals they looked very lethargic and a few of them were not groomed at all! Very sad because it used to be a great place for families.

I took a star first since they are not handicap accessible. Parking lot was gravel not good for wheelchairs or scooters, trails similar. Lip of concrete at the barn made entrance hard and it turned to gravel after several feet. Some of the cages seemed very small for the animals it was holding. But a decent variety for the price. The encounters are expensive and I'd feel for the price those animals would have better habitats. Staff are super friendly. Kids really enjoyed cracking geodes, just for note they are small geodes.

I used Google Maps/Directions to get back into it. Once there you drive past the residence up to the Barn where you'll see the Store. In addition to purchasing Tickets you have the pleasure of buying a sack of feed to feed the animals behind the red fencing. Follow the instructions on each fence. There are some animals on a specific diet. Flat hand feeding. Remember that line. The Hogs and large Bird's, feed them on the ground. Some of the Kid's are loose and they look very lovable. Don't let your guard down! No matter how sweet the little things appear, I assure you they will chow on your favorite item of clothing or anything else you may have that catches their eye. 😁 Nothing to fear as they were gentle as their natural instinct was acting itself out. The large Bird's are the only "caution" I'd send out. If you've seen a chicken peck think x 100 with the large birds. Even though feeding the Deer, the Kangaroo, the Goats was fun as they came to meet us, going into and walking through the Parakeet Sanctuary was the most unique for me. You can get sticks for them but you are in their domain once you enter the second door. 🐦

We've been to many places like this safari park and this one just did not compare. First, we maybe spent an hour here, if that, which just doesn't justify the $40+ ($11 for adults, $9 for children plus tax) to enter with our family of four. Second, it was a very hot day with minimal shade to get away from the blistering sun. Third, be very careful when entering the goat petting zoo area. These guys were VERY hungry and swarmed us as soon as we entered. They ended up getting stuck in the little gate area before you enter the actual petting zoo area. I had to lift my 5 year old out of the area because they were just too much for her to handle. We then went into the barn area where there were more animals to feed and see. There was a big fan blowing in there but it was still pretty hot. There was a good number of different animals to see in there which was nice. Our favorite part of the safari park was petting and feeding the kangaroo. We then walked out over to the large area of animals out in front but most of them were too far out in the field to see. All in all it wasn't a terrible place to go I just think the price of admission is a bit high for what you get.

I agree with several of the reviews in that this place is SUPER overpriced on the entry fees. The feed price was ok.we liked all the animals. Some had little if no information on what they were. We didn't go into the petting zoo for obvious reasons. I wasn't going to pay an extra 10$ to ride a camel. That should have been in on the entry fee. There was another fee to hold animals and mining. They advertised an alligator but there wasn't one. We liked the birds and the Kangaroos. The lemurs we're fun to watch and feeding the animals was fun. Not a horrible place but definitely not worth the price.

Great place for kids. The goat pen is a little rough for little little ones, suggest 5yo or older for that, everything else great for my 2yr old especially feeding the animals.

My 10yr old twins had a lot of fun. It's small so it doesn't take long to go through I.

I love this little place, if you're looking for something simple and fun to do with or without children that involves animals, then this is the place to go!! Decently priced, friendly staff, little gift shop, and feed for the animals and they will come up to you for that close up selfie with them!

The staff were more into hanging out with each other than doing their job. My child went down the slide, and the guards at the top of the slide were too busy laughing with each other and didn't warn the guard at the bottom. My child was struggling in the water that my husband jumped in to get him. It's quite disappointing that they don't take their job seriously. I guess it's what happens when you hire too many teenagers.

I went during the summer on Mondays and Thursdays every week and that was probably the best money spent get a membership if you live close

The kids loved this and the adults had a great time too. Not much of a wait for any of the slides and the lazy driver wasn't overcrowded. The lifeguards seemed very attentive and courteous when they had to enforce any of the rules. Thank you all for a great day.

It's clean,and great for a small family outing. There isn't much to it, but we still enjoy our visits.

We absolutely had a great time. It was really hot so was the concrete. There were sprinklers in some of the areas but not all. Feet did end up with blisters from the heat Definitely recommend water shoes I forgot mine but luckily my daughter had hers

It was a lot of fun. It was a little crowded at the beginning of the day, but the lines move fast. And the ticket price is a steal.

Bathrooms need attention badly every time we go, but love the park

Fun place but bathrooms are gross and not well kept !!! The food line was horrible!! Waiting 30 mins with others cutting line and being rude !! My sons had fun. But wouldn't use the bathrooms I found out why tho 😐

Everytime I've been there it's been a fun time things that the owner or management should consider is a few more food options at reasonable prices people get hungry while playing and swimming and the concrete gets so hot there I've noticed some kids that forget to wear sandels so they run barefoot I walked a few steps on that hot concrete and it's enough to burn someone's feet so my suggestion is to find a way to have a pathway with sprinklers that recycle the water through so it's not wasting the water and that way people especially kids won't hurt themselves I know it sounds silly but it's just an idea since it's a pretty big park ! (My comments about the food and pathway is not negative if anyone assumes that just some things that could improve it and may make more customers happy also ) the workers have been wonderful every time I've been there and the place stays fairly clean besides kids that need to learn some manners and clean up after themselves .

Pleasant little park.. we are from Wisconsin, looked for a little park to visit along the Mississippi and found this. As we sit here on a park bench, it is a warm, breezy July 3rd. We sat for a long while watched flat boats transport their scrap metal cargo.. navigating the river. The sound of birds and cars on the bridge above the place we sat.

Great view of the river and especially the East pillar of the Emerson Bridge. I first saw this bridge in 2006 when traveling to Cape Girardeau. I make regular visits to the area and always enjoy getting a view of the river and this enormous bridge. The river was very low when I saw it this time. I recommend visiting this small park if you have a few minutes to spare. It was my first time to do the overlook area as seen in my photos. This park is very close to downtown Cape Girardeau. Check out some of the shops and restaurants in downtown if you can.

You have to drive to the southend of the river to find this park. A few parking spots, I recommend going during the daytime because it is secluded. Nice lookout point with binoculars.

A very nice place to walk right up to Mississippi River. Also a great view of the bridge that crosses into Illinois. Easy parking too.
