This place is unique. The guide was very knowledgeable and loved the animals. She was skilled and personable. The animals were interesting and some were rescues. The crocodiles made up most of the residents, and they were used to humans. We walked through one of their habitats and they couldn’t care less, lol! There were a variety of snakes and some deer, as well as cute hairless pups. I don’t like hairless animals but these grew on me in minutes. They seemed so intelligent and playful. They love their treats. I came here with my teen boys and they were captivated and not bored, which says a lot. Loved everything about this place, thank you.

Our visit didn’t start off well, bc the lady at check in/reception was not very helpful and borderline rude. Thankfully, after a 20 minutes wait, we got a wonderful guide (Sandra) who was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with the kids, answering all their questions. The animal experience is fantastic for kids, they get to feed and hold some of the animals. The park has very cool animals that are, for the most part, native to Mexico/Latin America. The kids and parents had a lot of fun and the experience is worth the somewhat pricey tickets.

Surprisingly enjoyable. It’s a small zoo but the 1 hour guided makes it a very fun and educational experience especially for the kids. They get to pet a baby crocodile and hold a snake. It’s definitely worth a visit if you have time to spare.

I had an awesome experience learning about all the different animals living at the zoo. Having a guide throughout my visit made it much more informative than it would've been if I had toured the zoo alone. It's also great to see that so many of these animals are rescues from the exotic pet trade and being given much better lives than they would've had in someone's home. Learning about these amazing creatures raises awareness about the need to conserve them and their habitats, so Croco Cun Zoo is doing their part in making the world a better place. I had a good time here, and I learned a lot. It was so much fun walking next to crocodiles, touching them also, it was a new experience. It's a nice and small zoo and they speak Spanish and English. They have a restaurant there if you want to eat before or after, gift shop to buy souvenirs. The tour is about an hour, and they separate it with English and Spanish to make the tour go a little faster. They have discounts if you are a Mexican resident, so make sure to ask if you are a resident. There's parking available if you decide to drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions.

Man this place was cool. My wife and I enjoyed all the animals and the guided tour. While waiting wild monkeys greeted us in the tree tops. They are not on exhibit. They are wild and free. If you hear noises in the tree top look up quickly they are fast! A mom and baby capuchin monkey passed us too quickly to photograph. We got to interact with many of the animals, that included snakes and crocodiles! You even get to go into a crocodile/alligator habitat! The tour guide Sandra was very knowledgeable of all the animals. She taught us a lot about the local fauna and flora. They take very good care of the animals here. The enclosures were pretty large and all the animals all looked happy and healthy. It is well worth a visit! All the staff were very friendly and looked happy.

A small but very nice zoo. It is only possible to visit the zoo with a tour guide (English or Spanish). That's why it is relatively expensive (about 30 euros), but well worth it. Our tour guide, Sandra, was very nice and told a lot about the animals. The total tour takes about 45 minutes and you walk less than 1 km in total. Very nice was the fact that you could actually hold a snake, a parrot on a stick and touch a baby crocodile. The only downside is that in my opinion some of the animals have a rather limited living space. We visited the place on a Tuesday morning and it was not crowded at all

We were here on Friday. 10 min drive from where we were staying. Great experience. My husband, 4.5 year old and I enjoyed it. The wait for a tour was 40 mins and we were told 10 mins so that was annoying but other than that everything was great. They do separate tours in English and Spanish. Our tour guide Sandra was amazing. She is very knowledgeable about the animals. Thank you. We would love to visit again :)

If you have kids or not, you must visit this little sanctuary! It is one on one attention with very knowledgeable guide. The place is small, but very clean and nice. My kids (1,6,10 and 13 years old) enjoyed it very much. Food at the cafe is good and not too expensive. We loved our experience here!!!

Great place to visit with the family. Andrea was our marine biologist guide who was knowledgeable about each creature. She was friendly and funny and answered our many questions. The tour is an hour long. We liked the fact the creatures at the zoo were either rescued animals,donated, or brought in by the police from people having exotic animals as pets. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy learning about animals.

Very well maintained crocodile themed zoo about 20 min outside the hotel zone. Knowledgeable staff take you on a walking tour of about 20 different enclosurers of mostly crocs, but some snakes, wild cats, lizards and other local wildlife. Tickets include touching a crocodile and holding a snake. You can pay to feed some of the animals. The whole tour took about an hour and a half. There is a gift shop at the end with stuffies and handicrafts. Bottom line, it's worth doing and worth a trip especially for youngsters. A few tips: 1. Its outdoor and can get pretty hot. Dress accordingly. 2. There is an attached cafe that makes surprisingly good sandwiches 3. They do accept credit cards 4. Taxis can be a bit of a wait, plan accordingly 5. The tour has about a dozen people on it.

Had an amazing time at this zoo. The staff was very welcoming and professional and our guide was the best guide we’ve ever had in any zoo. She was very animated, patient and funny and we got to see every animal and our guide really took her time explaining and providing information on each animal. Definitely worth visiting with your kids or even without. I highly recommend!!

This place was great, from the person that greets you as you walk in to the guide to the little cafe they have attached to it. Everyone was beyond friendly and helpful. It was an informative and amazing experience. And when the tour is over don't hesitate to stop in the cafe for food and drinks.

My family and I loved the zoo. It is small but I don’t think it’s too expensive we got (Mexican price) my kids were feee. Keep in mind this zoo was about to close when the pandemic happened. People have to understand they charge to be able to afford the food for the animals and keep it open. I will go back next time I visit.

Unique zoo to see and feed animals native to Mexico. You can touch a crocodile and a snake and feed Aztec dogs (very special!), turtles and deer. Only issue is it's expensive and after the one hour tour it's done and you can't just hang out and look at the animals. There is a small playground and a cafeteria. The tour guide spoke English.

Over priced. 40 pesos would be a value, not $40 US dollars (each person over 13). The guide was very knowledgeable and nice. However it seems like every 3rd animal exhibit was a crocodile exhibit, with the crocodiles progressively getting larger/older as you move through the zoo. Another exhibit i had to laugh at was the Mexican dogs. They actually have 3-4 domesticated friendly dogs as an exhibit. The dogs are there as direct result from the Disney movie Coco that featured the Mexican hairless breed….. never the less the kids did love the dogs. Can you imagine going to the zoo in the United States and seeing an exhibit of Golden Retrievers? The spider monkey exhibit was underwhelming but they are technically wild as they can come and go from the zoo as they please, i think we saw 3 spider monkeys. If you want to see spider monkeys for free our shuttle driver on the way to the airport stopped at the 7/11 just north of the zoo and it was full of spider monkeys, much better than the zoo and didn’t cost a penny , must of saw 10 monkeys there. Anyways, neat place but way overpriced unless you’ve got extra money to blow and love crocodiles! Oh almost forgot, they have white tail deer too, lol.

We had a lot of fun! The animals looked taken care of, so no animal abuse (For those people) our guide was friendly and he explained everything. My girlfriend Touch a lot of animals. SHE WAS AMAZED!

The experience was awesome seeing the dolphins was great. Bring a camera with a good zoom if you are bringing the kiddos as the 2nd pool is about 80 to 100 yards or more and cell phone cameras just won't cut it. They try to sell pictures afterwards, which are very nice, but very pricey. You can negotiate down to a fairly reasonable price. It has a small gift shop and snack bar with liquor if you are into that thing. Good experience.

Very good experience for the kids and participants. Awesome animals! But the issue is that companions don’t have a very good view of the action which forces you to end up buying the photo package. So add between 200-400 bucks to your dolphin experience

I think that the experience was amazing! The staff were great and even the photographer was very kind and informative. I would still recommend going here. Just don't even look at the photos package. They are around $200-400. I feel like they should make them around $35-75 dollars respectively and people would definitely buy the pictures. Make up for all of the No's that they get by volume. I mean, If you got 4/5 people to buy their photos for $75 you would be making more money than getting 1 out of 10 people. I read another review that you guys responded and said it was for schools and the environment. But maybe do some surveys or focus groups to see what people are willing to pay. People are willing to pay for something with value to them, not what they are told to pay. We all want dolphins to be preserved and their environment to be kept clean. Just some advice from someone who wants to see your business succeed. Honestly swimming with dolphins was amazing though! So if you go in with the mindset that you are just going to enjoy the moment, and don't even think about photos beforehand then you will be very pleased.

Had a wonderful experience this afternoon! The staff was helpful and courteous. Our trainer was great. I was in a small group with a mother and son who didn’t swim. I definitely got more out of it than they did since they didn’t really get in the water like I did. I got an extra “double fin ride” which was really cool. Thank you! And I had read in someone’s review that the picture packages started at $350 but that is not true. The basic package today was $132. If this is on your bucket list…do it!

Loved the experience. The trainers are professional, Ceasar was great. Gustavo did our photographs and they were so good that we couldn't help but buy the package. We've done dolphins before in other places, which have charged us more money. So we were very happy.

Awesome, speechless, & memorized place!! It's hard to put it in words when the adventure was incredible!! The interaction with the dolphins was something that is one of a kind & a must to do in your life. They are so friendly, peaceful, & awesome to interact with. Staff was also great & friendly. Language barrier is nothing here, everyone speaks English. They go out of their way to help out & answer questions you might have. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone, this includes adults not just families.

Kids love the experience even though it's quite short. We were picked up from our hotel and had to stop by another hotel to pick up the second group so it was quite a drive for us. Price of the photos they took for us was pricey so we did not buy.

So madly disappointed with the experience. Dolphin trainer could use a bit of manner as how he directing people what to do, so impatient, feels he’s under the influence of a substance. We came to get a family picture, and let them know that we didn’t want any individual shots as we only aim to get a family picture. The trauner keep saying, alright, okay, just follow what you told and at the end of the session he said just talk to the manager. Where’s customer service at? You could’ve simply told us the perfect reason. Manager was disoriented, maybe because of the language barrier, he can’t tell a good reason why we didn’t get what we wanted. Have some compassion Delphinus crews! You ruined our family’s vacation! I will stay away from this rude establishment.

The dolphin experience was great, trainers were wonderful and patient and animals were amazing. The downside was that you're not allowed to take any pictures of your own and pictures of your family adventure ranges from $100 US for five pictures up to $500 US for 40, all in digital format - no prints. We felt they would sell far more picture packages if they priced them a little more reasonably. Had a wonderful time up until the picture presentation, left with a bad taste.

A complete rip off. Our driver was 25 minutes late to pick us up. We got dropped off right on time. There was no “orientation” or any pretense to educate people about dolphins or the environment. I had paid for the supreme package but my parents and 6yo daughter got a little intimidated and I asked if they could do something else instead. The response was really rude and basically along the lines of “you need to go to the office and pay for it” (even though I had paid for the most expensive package). But the cherry on top was getting out of the pool to see the photos from the photographer (you can’t bring your own camera). The cheapest option of 10 digital photos was $254 and the pricing went up to $450. It’s criminal. And the feeling they are trying to rip you off completely ruined the animal encounter experience.

"Dolphin show in Mexico!?" Boy, was I confused when I saw aquatic mammals, I guess I was thinking of another mammal starting with a D. Oh! That's Tijuana! My bad. 😂. All jokes aside it was a great family experience. We did the 4-person package and got some one-on-one time with a Dolphin. They are gentle and eager to please animals, kind of like dogs if dogs weighed 350 lbs and felt like a silicone spatula. We were able to pet the Dolphin, the Dolphin swam around us, did some tricks, it posed for pictures and they even brought in a second Dolphin (one behind each foot) to push us and turn us into human jetskis. My daughter took time to warm up to them, my son has sensory issues and couldn't calm down enough to ride them, and my wife had her own little freak-out, but overall it was a very positive experience. Definitely do it ... and btw, make sure to negotiate for the photo prices at the end!

Major cash grab. Super cool experience but the costs were astronomical. The photo package cost as much as a cruise! Ridiculously expensive. 10 photos for $390 USD and all photos $530USD - outrageous! It killed the amazing vibe they created. No photos to post as it cost too much.

It cost a family of 4x about $560 (in Canadian funds after exchange) and the cheapest photo package was another $300 in Canadian funds. The cheapest photo package would have provided us 10 digital images. The most expensive photo package was around $550 in canadian dollars. The experience lasted about 45 minutes. As advertised, you get to swim with dolphins and pet them. It was fun. So! The staff and dolphins are amazing. The kids loved it, but the photo pricing is absolutely ridiculous. I have no photos to add to this review, as I did not spend the additional $300 bucks.

We visited 9-11am on a Wednesday and probably should have arrived earlier as the amount of wildlife that we noticed was modest. Some descriptive signs are in English, perhaps 30-50%. My family had a nice walk through the forest but were somewhat underwhelmed. I would have given it 3 stars but they are preserving habitat and I did see and have some fun moments with a mother and her very cute and awkward baby monkey. When we arrived we were the only visitors. From a Canadians perspective, the mosquitos were modest despite having rained the last 1-2 weeks.

Is a place you should not miss when you go to Puerto Morelos my only regret is not seeing the monkeys make sure that you wear good shoes because the flat trail only goes so far and make sure you make a left of the Mayan ruins and follow that path it's a great way to go enjoy do not forget bug spray

Nice place to get a jungle feeling, without lots of tourists. Many different flora, mixed with historical Maya displays. We went mid-day so wildlife was a bit minimal, but we did see spider monkeys, iguanas and some birds.

Lovely, uncrowded forest with a variety of plants, trees, iguanas and monkeys. Also there were Mayan ruins, Mayan huts and a bee keeping display. Use the mosquito spray provided at the entrance.

Honestly, it's an ordinary hike, and we didn't see any animals. I believe the time of day is really important, we went in the afternoon and probably all the animals are resting in the shade. Also, the place looks like it's under maintenance or construction so a lot of activities are unavailable

Beautiful walk thru the botanical jungles and jungle. Wildlife sightings. Educational on mayan culture and the gum trade.

Easy walk. Not accessible for wheelchairs. There’s several historical sites. The map was easy to follow and navigate. Entrance fee was 120 and we paid 150 to get from puerto Morelos to here by taxi. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hr to walk the whole thing. A little longer if you want to stop and look at things a lot. Bug spray is a must. The bugs are crazy and even with bug spray on we still got a lot of bites.

Great morning adventure. Tickets are 120 pesos per person. Spent the morning walking the 2km loop around the jungle. Spotted plenty of iguanas and 4 spider monkeys in the trees. The look out spots were great to see the monkeys in the trees. Make sure to wear insect repellent as there are a lot of mosquitoes. They also provide water fountains at the entry to fill up your bottles.

Nothing special, really. We only saw 3 iguanas and 1 aguti. No point to come here to see them, you can see them in the streets of playa del carmen. There many bugs. The park is badly maintained, looks abandoned mostly. Waste of time.

We went yesterday to visit the botanical garden which is more like a small jungle with wild birds, animals and flowers. We were attacked by many mosquitoes despite the repellant, so we recommend wearing bright and shoes with long socks. Some of the attractions were closed due to hurricanes that caused damage to the park. The receptionist, Fabian, was super nice and took the time to explain many things to us and gave us some inside tips about the region. Additionally we bought some very pretty birds painting drawn bei a local biology student (Sandra Lopez). Overall we spend a nice time at the garden, we saw a family of spider monkeys, some iguanas and few birds and lovely butterflies!

It was nice but it felt a little abandoned and damaged. The lady working there told me that it was caused by hurricanes. Overall you should have a good time if you like the plant universe but don’t expect something out of this world. If you are staying in Puerto Morelos, it is only a couple minutes away if you are walking and I think it’s worth it. It only cost 100 pesos. Bring mosquito repellent!

If you have time, it's a nice walk in the jungle. It looks sadly like an academic project that was wonderful and educational 30 years ago but has not really been kept up. But your $5 or whatever it cost to enter probably means a lot to them, so go for a visit if you have time.

First of all, the cenotes and surrounding area are beautiful. We started with a trip to the 1st cenote. Then we took the ATVs to a 2nd cenote. Lastly we took the ATVs back for some quick ziplining (3 zipliines). The whole experience was just under 2h. We had the most fun at the 2nd cenote jumping from a zip line into the water. Our guide was quite rushed but very nice and pleasant. The reason I'm only given 3 stars is the overall price and value for money. The tour was fun, but instead of a 45min ATV ride, it was roughly 20-25min. The food was also quite bland. What bothered us the most was the price of the pictures. They told us at the beginning that we weren't allowed to take any phones or cameras with. Generally fine by me, but afterwards they wanted to charge us 60$ for all the pictures together. We could also buy a single picture for 10$. We tried negotiating the price to a more reasonable number, but the owner insisted the lowest they could go was 40$ for all the pics. Still way to expensive and definitely waaaaaay more than we'd pay at home. So generally speaking a pleasant and fun experience, but probably not worth 80$ p.P. and the exorbitant picture prices. Only consolation was that we had a few minutes to take some pics with our phone of the 1st cenote once the whole tour was done, but we were then rushed back to our driver to go home.

Cenotes are great that is for sure. Zip lines, especially the land ones could be better. Their policy is no pictures/cell phones yet you will see people with their own cell phones taking pictures, so make sure when you negotiate your package cell phones are included. Food was tasty but portion were small and they ask you for tips every step of the way!

Took them an hour to even get us started after we arrived. Food was horrible. Skip it and eat elsewhere. The excursion itself is fine. ATVs and Cinotes were fun but customer service not that great and they’re out to rip you off any way they can. Not going back for sure.

It is truly beautiful cenote and place but the family that runs it are not honest. They didn't let us to have our phones with us to sell very very expensive photos. They told us we can take our own photos after tour is finished but then they said we are going to close and you can't take anymore photos. The ugly part is other people had their phones with them !!!

Tons of Fun! We enjoyed the humor and banter between the visitors and employees. Both cenotes were different and beautiful in there own way. A definite option if you’re in the Puerto Morelos area. We did the ATV, zip line and 2 cenotes with a nice lunch. Went from about 10-2 (4hrs)

Excellent experience, friendly staff. First they drove us to a an open air cenote, with two zip lines and numerous diving platforms at different heights into the water. After about 50 minutes there, drove us back to the reception area, where a short walk took us a dramatic underground cenote, with both a jumping in option through a relatively small whole, as well as a steep stairway down to a platform where you could jump or descend a ladder into the water.

Awesome experience in the cenote. Our host was great. Restaurant was s bit slow. They forgot one our orders. Food was ok. Overall better than expected.

We went there 2 weeks ago, I believe it was $15 a person for foreigners. There is another price to visit both cenotes in that area but we had little kids and did not have a lot of time so we only did one. It is not located inside any resort, open to general public. The place is cute, clean, they have picnic tables set up. We went on a Saturday and there was hardly anyone there but our group. This cenote looks like a cave, you go down the slippery stairs to get to it. You can also jump down from an opening at the top or get down by stairs and swim all around. We only did one cenote on this trip and this one was perfect! Our 3 year olds loved it and still talk about the experience :)

Really nice cenote, deep 250+ ft or 70+ metres. Really liked id, jumped from 5m into cave for 2 times. Ypu can spot divers or fishes in the water it is crystal clear. BUT be aware that you cannot take mobile (even in waterproof case) but they will sell you after event sell photos 10$ / pcs or 40$ / all photos. Some people reported to them that DVD was empty, photos not working. So recommend when you will recap photos what professional photographer takes, record video on mobile ... you will at least have something :)

They won't let you take your own photos which is a horrible policy, I would have given them a 5 start review if it wasn't for that stupid idea. They have 2 beautiful cenotes. The "zip line" is very short, and you have to hold on and then jump off to the water which is lots of fun. The ATV are lots of fun, the breaks doing work very well so keep a good distance between you and the front person.

This place was awesome. We had a blast, and we were not in a tour group. Awesome cave swimming with a high jump for the adventurous plus a lot more. We loved the fact that there were friendly dogs and cats all over the place. Good food too. Definitely check it out whether you're on a tour or not (more fun without IMO).

Price is $15 for Cenotes. They have zip lines, horses, and 4 Wheelers $15 each per activity. Cenote was beautiful and water was just barely cool, super clean, and clear.. The food in the restaurant was the best I had while in Mexico. Grilled chicken and fajitas were off the chain. Loved this nice little place.
