I visited both in 2014 and loved every minute of this excursion so much so that when I came back in 2023 I had to do it again and I have to say hands down this family delivers and deserves every bit of five-star rating. I have to say that after having such a disappointing time at our Resort, le Bora Resort, previously named in 2014 Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort and Spa before it was bought out and renovated..... we finally got to do the lagoonarium and I was not disappointed at all because if you want true Tahitian life, culture, people, and everything that comes with the beauty of true Bora Bora this is where you will find it. I'll always continue to promote and encourage people to put this on their bucket list. This family made our trip memorable. I can't say enough they're kindness, fun, smiles, laughs all day long, ability to deliver everything day advertise, and more!

You will also be treated to a fantastic Polynesian lunch (can't stress enough how good it was) and some other fun on-land activities. Even though we've sailed to Bora Bora and have access to a dingy, this was a worthwhile adventure with people that know the best spots.

Then on to a private motu (island) for a traditional Polynesian lunch and snorkeling with several large lemon sharks. We also learned how to tie sarongs on both men and women and learned how to properly and quickly open coconuts. And, while you’re on the island, don’t forget to ask about meeting Bacon, the Bora Bora chihuahua. This was an absolutely perfect day and this entire crew did everything in their power to make it as perfect as possible, from start to finish, for everyone on the tour. Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and any snacks you might need because this is a full day on the water.❤️

I cannot recommend this tour company due to the treatment of the fish and overall safety concerns. I noticed that the staff -very discreetly- was feeding the tropical fish at the stops. Secondly at the private motu, the large lemon sharks are in a small fenced in area in the water. The tour company was introduced by the hotel as a family business - which it is. We were collected by two pick-up trucks from the hotel and as a group of 10 were waiting for the boat to arrive. To our surprise the boat was already more than half occupied by a large tour group. They already had the best seats and overall, it was a very crowded experience. I rather would have picked a tour company which guarantees a small group size. The staff was very enthusiastic to show the fish during the stops. Overall, we managed to see a lot of fish, which is obviously nice. On the stop to view the manta rays, the boat kept moving with the engine (propeller) running. I felt that is eventually an accident waiting to happen. The stops can get very crowded with multiple boats nearby. My partner almost went into the wrong boat. I doubt with the high number of people on our boat the staff would have noticed if one person is missing.

BOOK this tour!! It was an immersive experience! With years of snorkeling and diving experience, this was an awesome vacation excursion. We stopped at 4 locations. The Coral Garden reef had thousands of fish. The second spot had a large group of eagle rays. The third spot allowed us to find a manta ray cruising over the reef. The 4th location had black tip sharks and stingrays. I would HIGHLY recommend the ALL day tour. You stop at the Lagoonarium private moto for an authentic lunch (grilled chicken/fish) with unique Polynesian sides. You can even swim with the sharks that were in the lagoon. This family run business spans three generations and everyone was welcoming. Our guide Max was fun and energetic. He also sang polynesian songs while the grandfather kept the beat on the drums. Everyone loves their job here, even the grandfather (82yo) danced with guests. The boat circles the entire island while you enjoy the music, wind and history of the island.

Highly highly recommend this tour!! Had such an amazing and fun day seeing the beautiful island, swimming with the fishes, stingrays, and reef sharks, and going to the lagoonarium to swim with the lemon sharks and stingrays and to see the turtles. Topped it off with exploring the island and having the most incredible lunch made by the ladies at the lagoonarium! You won’t want to miss this tour!

One of the best beach in the world. Snorkelling paradise where you can acquaint with sharks and sting rays. Stingrays are more people friendly and the sharks are swimming around you. We can say the biggest natural swimming pool of the world. The water is crystal clear and many coral gardens around the islands. The people are friendly. Very safe to go anywhere on the island. We had the best snorkelling experience of all time. It is expensive but worth to go again.

Gorgeous place. So far dining is ok. Snorkeling superior to my exp in Hawaii, St John’s, Key west.

You've got to see this place! From the moment you enter the airport terminal and Tahiti, you're greeted by friendly English/French speakers who go out of their way to ensure you know where you're going and that you have the most enjoyable experience. The rooms were top-notch and the views are amazing. The only recommendations I have are they should install hammocks and have some board games so people have something to do on rainy days. Some things we learned after being there are to bring water shoes, some small denomination $$ for tips, a European electrical adaptor/converter for phones/tablets, and bring your own alcohol unless you want to pay $20-30 per drink. They don't limit you on the amount of alcohol you take, like the cruise lines. The only issue we had was that we were charged extra fees because of some mistakes on the staff's part. These issues were taken care of before we left, but the staff member who we asked to remove the fees had an attitude, but other than that, the staff was amazing.

Only one problem we had in Bora Bora We had to leave and come back to reality.

The people is really nice, the island is like paradise and picturesque. There are multiple shades of blue in the ocean, and we can walk out really far and the water is still only waist deep, amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous! Definitely a bucket list trip. Would highly recommend Norwegian's cruise going from Honolulu to Papatee, Tahiti, including Bora Bora, Raiatea and Moorea. Incredible!

This is Paradise on earth. The colour of the water is just amazing... There are some hostels for cheap accommodation, in case u want to do it backpacker. The transport in between the islands can be done by low cost local airline... Definitely a place worth to see it.

By far the best place we’ve visited. The turquoise waters and views are just AMAZING! Highly recommend it for honeymoons. You must do a lagoon tour with a Motu picnic.
