#1 mosque in capital of riau, Pekanbaru. Big parking space

What a unique experience we were able to share with our friends here in Pekanbaru as they shared their religion and culture with us. We had never been to a mosque before or attended prayers at one. This mosque is beautiful, and we were able to explore and take pictures.

Beautiful mosque in Pekanbaru, Riau, Sumatra. Built between 1963-1968. Architecturally, An-Nur is similar to the Indian Taj Mahal. The mosque was designed by Ir. Roseno. The building consists of three floors; the top level is used for prayer and the lower level for offices and meeting rooms. Tourists: make sure to be properly dressed (head scarf, fully dressed, bare foot). Pekanbaru citizens are not used to tourists at all, so they will be curious and children might ask if you are willing to take a photo with them.

Visiting this place was truly remarkable. Unlike my experiences in other mosques in Malaysia, where I never quite felt welcomed despite being interested, this location stood out. Not only is the architecture spectacular, but the people were incredibly hospitable. As someone who doesn't adhere to any particular religion, I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and guidance I received. It's undeniably a destination worth exploring.

There are a lot of mosques in Pekanbaru, built by government, organizations and individual. This mosque is the most visited as part of Pekanbaru tourist's attractions. Should you come during Friday prayer, there is no business transactions being carried out by the entrepreneurs

It’s Big.. yeah Really really big Mosque MashaAllah.. so blessed have been here in Ramadhan. When you in pekanbaru you have to visit this mosque, huge parking space and outdoor area, huge pray area inside the second floor. A very soothing place in the city of Pekanbaru Riau.

Biggest mosque in Pekanbaru, huge parking space but not much tree, air conditioned, very cool inside, nice ornament, the good thing is that there is an escalator , instead of a stairs

Large mosque. Neat, clean and comfortable for worship. The spacious mosque is covered with shady trees and a large parking area. Recreation and sports.

A beautiful and large mosque as Islamic Centre of Riau Province. The design of this mosque is a combination of Malay, Turkish, Arabic and Indian. It also has sport area for jogging and enjoying the moments with family and friens under the trees. I always come there to pray, jogging, and listening advices from the ustad.

We love this place. Whenever we are in Pekanbaru, my wife will come and spend time here and get everything we need back home (USA).

Good mall with many shops, catch a movie, eat fast food, drink kopi. Go thru the underpass to cross to Living Mall.

Nice cosy place to shop. Love the Matahari Dept outlet. Batik shirts and dress is fabulous.

In the SKA mall, I’m visiting a small cuisine outlet that provides some kind of pastry, namely “Boeatan Tangan” stall, that owned by a young entrepreneur. The taste of the pastry is good. There is not many premium pastry you can find in Pekanbaru, like this cuisines that served by Boeatan Tangan.

Pretty good tenants and favorite place to hang out and dining.. but definitely need to improve the toilet Quality ! So smelly, dirty !

It is said this mall is the biggest mall in pekanbaru city. During public holiday, the mall is full and vibrant with family and youngsters fill the mall. We can find many types of stalls in here. One stop solution.

Too Large & Spacious with all the facilities

Very good and a clean big mall. But often it's really hard to find parking because too many people are shopping and hanging out with friends but I still love the mall. Lots of restaurants, cafés, stores and an ice skating rink. But I haven't gone to the ice rink before.

One of the most favourite mall of Pekanbaru. Always crowded and heavy traffic jam on saturday and sunday. If you want to go to the hypermart the escalator is behind the A&W restaurant. Not too many choices of food restaurant, i ended up at chir chir, good food but a bit expensive. Modern mall. For me, the best is the arcade, very positive and educative for kids which is located on the top floor of the mall.

Mal ska Pekan Baru is the biggest mall at pekan baru i think. At least has 4 main entrance from 4 side and many lobby. Right now they upgrading the upper floor. Majority stand or store had filled. Cinema at top floor and supermarket like hypermarket at bottom floor. So many type and kind of store include food and beverage are opening there. For Moslem there's a public prayer room for visitors and employers to do prayer. Parking lot is big enough likes building that built in with mall, but something weird i guess is to enter the parking building from Street lintas timur Sumatera outside then make u turn to left then climb right to level three after make turn right left and right also take distance far enough. The building spend much space just only to build climbing to top building for parking. Overall this shopping mall is nice to shop, dine, play, leisure and hangout.

Nice mall for family. Lots of playground at the topmost floor. Good selection of restaurant.

As a first time goer I would say it's okay with the location and providings. You would find a lot of cheaper products than a few minutes away from Transmart. Relatively small though it has some world famous brand outlets.

I don't expectact this place is so wonderful, thunsand book on the desks and very wide building. There have restorant, mosque, large parkir, fish tanker, garden, toilet and others. The main building have 5 floors and every single floor always have Wi-Fi.

We love to hang out here every weekend with my sisters. The book collections are great and the canteen provides nice meals!

Nice place with the unique architecture, like an open book. Awal buka dulu sering ksn, nyari free wifi ☺️.

Much help with the Lift, as the location of the elevator, is designed so that not easy to move fast between floors.

Although it has been tens of years it still feels fresh and doesn't give me a headache. Feels very comfortable and homey ✨. The maintenance was great.
