One of the best beaches in Gokarna, very clean and crystal clear water. There are lots of big rocks at the seashore that are the attraction point and enhance the beauty of this beach. Here the sunset view is very peaceful, romantic shades of red and orange across the sky. Just wanted to clear few things when you go to I’m beach with your own car so be careful at the valley because there is no specific parking place available here peoples are just park the car along the one way road and since the road is very narrow and steep slope it’s very difficult to turn the car and forward in a steep slope you my suggestion is only park your vehicle in a flat surface road don’t park on slope otherwise you will stuck or high chances of accident. Second thing also careful from local vehicles “travellers” they drive very roughly and they haven’t stopped their vehicle even on pass or horn. So my road experience was very bad. Once you park the vehicle you have to trek around 500m for the beach point through stairs. Only one cafe shack is available “Namaste Cafe” which is very good and you can enjoy the drinks and beverages here. I have clicked few snapshots you can see the natural beauty of oh beach.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Om Beach and the charming Little Bite. The laid-back ambiance and delicious food made for a wonderful getaway. Little Bite is a fantastic spot to relax by the beach, savor tasty bites, and recharge.

One of the best beaches I have ever been to! The beach is fabulous and clean. The stone structures add to the beauty of the beach. One of the best places one can be to witness a wonderful sunset. There are certain photographic points where the waves rise high because of stone structures. The water is clear. There are eating outlets available near the beach. There is a staircase from the main road to the beach down. Some of the steps might be steep for some people. To get a good view of the beach be there at least 1 hour before sunset so that you could witness the beauty of the beach and sunset. Happy Traveling!!

Om beach is huge. When you reach the entrance (near the parking lot) you must trek down to reach the beach. There's a very clear step path to trek down so nothing to worry about. We had taken a road-trip from Bengaluru to Gokarna( 500 km approx) and I must say the drive was beautiful, though at some places road construction for road-widening is in process currently. Hopefully, in few months that wont be a menace. Once you reach the beach you will start to see many vendors and ferries. Namaste Cafe is right at the entrance. The first half of the 'om' is the crowded one as it is right at the entrance. To reach the second half of the 'om' you need to walk along the first half and reach the other side. We visited first on a sunday evening, and the beach was so crowded that it disappointed us. Even then we went and found a spot on the rocks to watch the sunsets but soon after the crowd started to gather there as well. If you visit on a weekday, however, the crowd is limited and you can experience the fun of the waters. The water at OM beach is dirtier than other beaches in gokarna. But the sunset is absolutely spectacular. Ferries run on this beach which transport you to other beaches such as - paradise beach and half moon beach. You can even trek to paradise and half moon beach from om beach. There are also water activities which are conducted here, but their availability varies with the strength of the tide in the waters too. If you choose to drive a bike till om beach then beware of the roads as they are broken in some parts. The road is also narrow and has several turns and bends making it hard to know if another vehicle is coming from the opposite side. Nonetheless, the drive till there is absolutely stunning and you'll even get to see OM beach from the top at a very well known sunset point The sunset was worth a watch. The road leading to the beach is also very well laid with greenery all around and the view point which is quite away from the beach gave a spectacular view of the same. Being one of the most prominent beaches of Gokarna, it gets a little crowded during the peak hours. But one can get a real escape to the nature’s abode watching the mesmerizing sunset and the clear waters splashing against the rocks. Please carry shades and a hat as it gets really sunny. Carry an extra set of clothes. There are changing rooms and washrooms also. You can rent two-wheelers for going around. For cars, the roads in Gokarna are too narrow, but we somehow managed. There are good places to eat only along the beachside.

During the last week of March, I visited the beach, which tends to be crowded on weekends. If you're traveling by car, it's advisable to park along the way as there isn't a designated parking area, and the narrow road can lead to congestion. They take to Paradise Beach and Half Moon Beach via boat and that was really an amazing experience.

Visited this plave on weekdays at the time it was not much crowded its one of the best beaches of gokarna calm and clean to certain degree. There are lots of shacks around the beach a bit costly but are great to have snacks as spending time at the beach is good option with family as a couple. We parked the vehicle at the cliff-top parking ('Kudle Beach Jungle Parking' in Google Maps) and walked to the On beach. It took us 10-15 min through the rocks, jungle, and stairs to reach the Om beach entrance. While going, it was early morning, so the path was enjoyable, but returning post-noon was a slightly challenging walk. Om Beach is the most beautiful place in Gokarna. We spent the most time here. There are ample options for food and drinks on the beach. We walked till the end of Om Beach and had lunch at the Sunset Point restaurant. Butterfly Beach and Half Moon Beach can only be reached by boat or by trekking through the cliff. We took a boat from Om Beach to visit those. Being in between the cliffs, both are very beautiful. There was some tent-type accommodation visible on these beaches, too.

Quiet place with some trees...small steps...rocks giving some vibes to the beach. There is a cafe too with a nice view. Its a very photogenic beach. Good for #prewedding photoshoot.

One of the best place to visit near gokarna. I soent my evening there and absolutely loved it. The walk was a bit of struggle but it was worth. There are not many restaurants. The place is bit dangerous coz its slippery, needs to be careful when walking around, especially on the rocks

The gateway to the beach is very beautiful but as soon as you reach the end there is garbage everywhere and a bad smell never leaves your nose, over crowded, most commercial beach of gokarna and very dirty, not suitable for staying as you have climbed up 50 stairs to reach parking, overall I found it not worth to visit.But who likes rides and other sea sports may visit the place.

It is a crowded beach and not maintained well as expected. Govt authority should concentrate on cleaning the beach, arrangements of proper washrooms with toilets required. Swatch Bharat not yet implemented properly. Development required to make a world class tourism place but our lazy government servents and politicians are not at all interested to do a development in tourism.

It is a very good and clean beach to enjoy with family and friends. Lots of fun activities are there like, jet ski, speed boats, Sea walk, beach cricket etc. Life guards are present and monitor the beach actively. Food stalls are ample and parking space is available. There are shades put up where you can sit and enjoy the view. It is not very busy on the weekdays but expect crowd on weekends and Festivals times. Bathhouse and washrooms are available. Overall an enjoyable experience

Very popular and busiest beach in Mangaluru. Has many water activities and you can find people here all round the clock. There is a large parking area for bikes amd cars. There are also many food stalls. You can also find police and lifeguards here. So overall it's a good place for family to come over and watch the beautiful sunset.

The beach is very nice and located just on the side of Mangalore port. If you will be lucky then you may witness a big cargo ship which will be heading towards Port or from the port to the Arabian sea. There are lot of snacks available there and there are camel and horse ride available. One more thing which we liked about this beach is the seats which are in the beach so you can rest there and enjoy the breeze of sea.

It's a free beach. It was very crowded when I visited. Lots of people enjoying the water activities. They have built a floating bridge, there was a huge line. It seems thrilling. There are a lot of food options available. The sunset was great too. I walked from the nearby city bus stop(Panamburu Beach) and it's around 20-30 mins walk. There was heavy traffic when I was there, and parking seemed full too so keep this in mind while planning.

I had been here to experience the floating bridge, and it was really good being there. They charge 150/- per person for about 15-20 mins of time to spend. Even the safety precautions were good, we were provided with life jackets and even the life guards around there were active and alert. But, the beach might need a little cleanliness awareness. Apart from that the beach has good food options too, along with a Washroom facility that really needs maintenance.

Nice place for watching the Sun set over the Arabian sea. The approach road to the beach is through the port area and hence filled with heavy vehicles. The road is also patchy at some places although road work is going on. The beach has some shops for snacks. Being a popular attraction, this place is crowded in the weekends.

The beach is definitely one of the best beaches in Mangalore. The place has safety area, public washroom and lot of small shops for eating. They even have small cottages to make sure you enjoy the sea even in daylight. Overall a must visit place.

Tannirbhavi beach which is one among the famous beaches in mangalore have made a huge changes from past year. When i visited today , there was an entry fee of 20/- per head which has to be paid on entering the beach + fee for parking your vehicle is also paid🤷🏻‍♀️. Right now this changes is made by the govt for improvising the beach. There is still lot more which is still under construction. Seating arrangements made with bamboo is really overwhelming and good. The one with the hut and a bamboo chairs cost 100/- per hour for 2 people. This is completely made for tourists people. This beach in coming future will loot lot of money just for such silly things. All these rates of parking fee+ entry fee+ the other fee which includes mineral water+ usage of public toilets should be made in package for those people who really want stuffs like this. This is entirely ridiculous. The management should check on further improvement on this facilities for upcoming new developments on whatsoever is happening there.

Peaceful beach to relax with family. Although it is not allowed to swim or play in this beach because of the deep waters, you will not be disappointed. Huge parking space and plenty of seats added to experience the beautiful sunset.

The beach is clean and good. It's amazing to watch sunset from here. There are few kids play area which would interest kids to spend time. Only problem is there are lot of free bulls roaming, though they are harmless it always gives little panic to hear their sound.

It was awesome! The waves were not so violent and high, so the whole family can enjoy and have fun together irrespective of one's age. Sand was beautiful to play with. It was very much less polluted compared to others. We had visited around 7:00 am in the morning, so there were very less people and we had a great time. I am not sure about the crowd later during the day. For tourists, I would highly recommend to visit during the early morning, to avoid severe heat, because I visited in summer. I am not sure about the other seasons though.

Beautiful sunset between 6-7 PM. Two way to reach here, ride all the way around 10kms from the main city or a very interesting way for the tourists is to go to Sulthan Battery and take a boat from there which drops one to Tannirbhavi. Many lifeguards present here too, going deep swimming is not allowed I believe, never tried. Weekends crowded, weekdays almost nobody will be there.

Beautiful and calm beach to witness Sunset. There are food stalls and you can do kite flying activity. You can reach this place by Road or If you want to make it shorter, you can go upto a place called Sulthan Bathery in Mangaluru (Not to be confused with Wayanad) and from there you can take ferry to cross the river and reach beach. Ferry will cost Rs.15/- per person one way.

Beach is good, no sports though. From main road to beach around 2-3kms is there and transport is problem. , less autos. Can walk and go though if not carrying luggage.. Food is ok ok.

Like In goa, as long as you stay out of other people's business and don't get involved in crazy staff. It's not that crowded however not bad at all.. There is a surfing point plus people swim. No beach restaurants I went to. Just a walk by the beach.. I Had a good evening.. Benches are there to sit... Small gazebo type shades made for heat I assume. I did not step in the water.. There is a horse for a ride... Please please please it's for kids.. Look at the size of that horse, feel sorry for it you large people. POV Adults need to go to a horse club for horse riding and pictures, it's only for kids.

Tannirbhavi Beach is beautiful and clean, but it will be super crowded on weekends. You can either drive to the beach or take a ferry from Sultan Battery. Tip: Reach here before sunset to witness something magical.

A temple in middle of busy streets of Mangluru. Yes surprisingly, but the calmness offered here is unbelievable. The entrance has beautiful structure after which the temple is located inside in square area. Many devotees can be seen as early as 8 am taking holy bath in the kund. The temple has many antique touches to it. Don't forget to visit the Hanuman statue after climbing the steps

Wonderful and very well built temple in a vast area. Situated in the midst of Mangalore. There are many temples in this campus along with the 7 ponds where people do come for Kalash snana and it's indeed a transcendental experience of my life getting a Kalash snana for myself. There's a Ganapati temple besides the 7 ponds where there's an origin of Tirtha dhara from Gomukha, taking it on my head after the snana was one of the best spiritual experiences of my life. Furthermore there's a Mahadeva temple, right above it and on the way to the top you'll reach up to Hanuman temple. There's a newly built Yogeshwar mutt on the top of the hill and beautifully built temples and well maintained infrastructure to reach there too. A must visit temple for a Hindu believer.😇❤️

Kadri Manjunatha Temple is a historic temple in Mangalore in the state of Karnataka, India. Kadri Manjunatha Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed to be the oldest Shiva Temple in Mangaluru. The temple also has tanks with natural springs and laterite caves also known as the Pandava Caves. Since use of mobile phones are not allowed inside premises I managed to click a few only outside of the temple.

Good to see. The sandal paste given in temple was good fragrance natural. There is a cave on top take time to see but we never went.

Visited this place for the first time. This seems to be an ancient auspicious temple and the deity is Lord Manjunatha. Good positive vibes in the temple. There are holy ponds where devotees can take a dip. There is a Shiva lingam and you are allowed to put water over it and this was amazing experience. The temple is well maintained and there is good parking space also available. On Namah Shivaya 🙌

One of the very best temple I have ever visited in my life. Every devote of Shiva must come here if you live around Mangalore or if you follow Kaal bhairava. The temple is extremely old and has many relics . the temple is divided into two parts one below the hill and one on top of the hill . One has to climb up for about 5 minutes to reach the top of the hill . Where they will find the Kaal vhairava temple a long with the temple of 9 Naths.

When you enter the temple it feels like you are in northern part of India. Temple structure is somewhat similar to north Indian temples. Inside the main temple there is Manjunatha(Shiva) idol like structure. Upside of the temple there is a water source (as per the history goes, people say the source of water is directly from Kashi) The water is cold, clean and has a sweet taste.
