Beautiful area, which is the postcard place of Copenhagen. Definitely a must visit if you are in Copenhagen. There are a lot many street food items, lots of restaurants. You can walk on the road with your dear ones and the vibe is extremely nice. You might have to go there during the evening to enjoy the vibe the most.

A must for Copenhagen! The place has an unique charm due to the colorful old houses. Some of them are about 400 years old and in several once H. C. Andersen has resided! Various restaurants are absolutely great, however, proces are above the average for the city. One should visit the place at sunset.

Cool place with lots of colourful buildings - but as with all popular places there are a lot of tourists. You can see the buildings and then just go somewhere else to eat where it’s quieter if you’re not wanting to see hoards of tourists.

A picturesque spot with brightly coloured buildings along a waterfront. This is a beautiful spot, with the bright buildings and boats along the wharves making it feel very bucolic. However, while it is very lovely to see, many of the places along here are quite expensive, even by Copenhagen standards.

Probably one of the prettiest places I have ever travelled to. The different coloured houses are stunning to look at and the atmosphere around Nyhavn is so nice as well. It feels very relaxing when you stroll around and just take it all in. Definitely recommend!

Lovely, relaxing place just to stroll about and enjoy the ambiance. Find a nice place to eat, grab a drink, then find some dessert. Sit outside and enjoy the ocean, the weather and the people.

One of best walks in Copenhagen and a must visit. Nice promenade by the water canal and many restaurants on the side , food was not that good and very touristic and don’t recommend eating in the area, the place is very full of people, bars. A must visit for sure ✔️

Wonderful place to chill with friends and family , they have very good view and also got amazing restaurants. It can get a lot crowded during weekends and holiday but even then its worth visiting 😁

A beautiful part of Copenhagen and definitely a must visit. The buildings are lovingly restored and are resplendent in their gayly painted colours. There are canal rides that you can go on, and many of the buildings house a variety of restaurants, as well as the famous store selling waffles with ice cream and churrios.

Beautiful architecture along the canal. We visited at night and in the morning. The views are nicer in the day. There a lot of cafes and restaurants, but heard that these are quite expensive. Nice to take photos along the canal but it’s near a bicycle lane so just be careful.

Nyhavn is fantastic! The colorful buildings are so pretty, and there are lots of boats. It's a great place to take pictures and enjoy the atmosphere. Would recommend!

Colourful canal houses which include a museum to Hans Christian Andersen. Lined with busy waterside cafes, fish and chips and tourists. Starting point for canal boat trips.

It's nice to walk along the canal with these pretty colorful houses on both sides. If you walk to the end of the canal, you can take the water bus. There's also a stop in the Opera House on the opposite side.

Nice amusement park. Not very big but right in the city centre. Beautiful decorations for Halloween and lovely restaurants. Some restaurants are very expensive. They have menus outside so no nasty surprises. A few good rides. Some are very scary. We went in November in the afternoon. The queues for the rides took about 20min. The weather was a bit cold. They have some shops too. Our friends found something to buy there. If you like the rides, you can easily spend all day in the park.

I bought the entrance fee that did not include the rides... I was very happy just to walk around and view the gardens. I must say, that this was the most beautiful and green amusement park I have ever seen And it was a real trip to be able to walk under the roller coaster. (I had never seen that before.) Also plenty of eating places and shopping areas.

I just paid for entry as I'm not a fan of rides. But the place was lovely lots bigger than I expected, it had a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend to visit at around 6pm in the summer have a wonder in the daylight maybe grab something to eat and then you will see it in the dark too. It was the night which made the place even more stunning

Such an amazing place. The gardens themselves are beautiful. The rides are great and they have such a variety. There are quite a few rides for young kids around 3 years old. There’s so much to do and the space is so well utilized that you don’t feel like you’re walking for miles on end. This is a must visit place in Copenhagen.

The park is super beautiful, the haunted houses were super fun to go to and just the whole vibe of the place was amazing. The Halloween decorations were also super fun. The only downside is the price of entrance and for the rides, which was quite high in my opinion. Even though the prices were high I can't wait to go again for the Christmas theme.

I think if not the best, one of the top parks in Europe. Great restaurants, coffee bars, theaters, garden, entertainment park in such a great combination. Especially if you visiting when it's ready for Christmas. So many activities and entertainment you will definitely enjoy! Must see for sure.

Stunning place. Relaxing and just a great place to visit. An oasis in the city centre. Gardens / Theme park, choose what you prefer or both. Either way it's got a relaxed atmosphere. If you visit Copenhagen this needs to be on your jobs list.

Had an amazing evening here! We bought the compete package (entry and unlimited rides and photos) and definitely made our money's worth in rides. Lots of options, from super kid friendly to super scary (the Demon). So many food options, but gasoline grill gets special mention for their huge fries portion. If you are there on Saturday stay for the light show and the fireworks. If you have time while in Copenhagen this will be a fun night out.

A unique place. Rides, an aquarium, gardens, restaurants and bars Very easy going and family friendly atmosphere. Queues were short and the ride pass works so well. It seems small but has an incredible amount in one location. Lovely to see old people falling asleep in deck chairs on a sunny afternoon while kids are having fun on rides.

As it is one of the oldest theme park, it is worth to visit. For anyone who love taking photos, I recommended to go before evening time. Then u can enjoy both day and night vibe. Not so big one.

I brought a sibling here, and they loved it. I enjoyed it myself here as well. It's a very beautiful amusement park and I loved how it was connected to the food hall which has a variety of great food options. The staff were really kind and I believe it's safe to say that this is a must visit for everyone especially families. It's also very nicely located literally being in front of Copenhagen Central Station. I will definitely come back!

Fridays suck as they have concerts and it's going to be packed....aim for a cloudy weekday...some days you will wait ages in lines, we where lucky and had 10 min wait for rides....lots of people come here to see the flowers and lights for which there is no line. Sunny weekends are going to be packed. Danish weather is temperamental, bring plastic ponchos and hope for the best, wind does not get bad here

If you are a tourist and you love history and art, this is the place for you to visit. The fun rides may be a little out of date, but keep in mind they were from 100 years ago. Everything was so beautiful and artistically arranged. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops and chocolates. The Garden was not only for the kids but also the adults of all ages. We were glad that we saved the place last during our stay at Copenhagen.

Very nice place. Finely decorated for Halloween. I expect they'll do a great job for Christmas as well. I think this place is a bit overrated, though. Don't get me wrong, it's very nice and there are few fun rides. But I would go here only if I stayed for a few days in Copenhagen. Don't sacrifice other beautiful spots in the city to go here instead. But as a last day thing to do and especially if you're there with friends, it's a fun place where to spend a few hours

Went in November knowing little about the place. Had an incredible time in the massive winter wonderland with shops and stalls ans even fairground rides! Definitely recommend going in winter. Ride pass is around €30 on top of €18 entrance fee but you can enter without a ride pass and pay for rides individually or not at all. Worth the price though

We were there at Christmas with family. It was so beautifully decorated, there were rides for all ages, delicious food. I recommend, for Christmas, to see how many rides planning to go on before buying the unlimited band.

Underwhelming. Paid 160dkk (£18) to enter. The rides were fairly interesting to look at as they’re prettier than what you get at a typical British fairground but didn’t seem particularly thrilling inducing so didn’t give any a go. Would probably be worth it if you have young children who would enjoy the smaller rides however.

Amazing. If you’re in Copenhagen you have to go, no question. I have visited both during summer and to see the Christmas markets, both were great with the Christmas lights really taking the cake for me, I felt like I was in a movie. Rides are also great, but just seeing the lights and market stalls are also plenty to do. So many great food options inside for both food and desserts, so definitely come hungry.

It’s amazing how many attractions can be squeezed into one city block. Great for kids, teens and those still young at heart. Food price and choices range from stalls and food market outlets to the brasserie at the Hotel Nimb.

It's a wonderful, almost magical place. You can feel like you're in a fairy tale there. We visited on December 30th, and despite the large number of people, the vastness of the park made it feel uncrowded. In the evening, it has an even more enchanting charm. It's important to mention that using the Copenhagen Card, you can enter the park twice in one day by obtaining a special stamp. However, for some attractions, tickets are not always available at the machines - you need to purchase a package. For those who prefer not to buy packages, using the app might be somewhat inconvenient. My only suggestion - improve and maintain your app.

Absolutely fantastic. I visited in December 2023 with family, including two kids in prams. Spent the whole day there, and you can leave with the kids of you need to and re-enter (make sure you get that days stamp on your hand!) Highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance to skip the queues, and if you get the ticket that includes free digital images, download the app and set that up ahead of time! We made that mistake and missed out on images. Don't forget to take your one free go at the wheel - it's the huge one beside Aquila I think! I rode everything I could, and had a great time. My faves are the demon and star flyer I think! I also recommend bringing scarves and gloves if you're riding the taller rides in the winter!! I think it's superb that it's a themes seasonal attraction and I'd love to visit again in spring.

Visited around December time and it was a wonderful wonderland! There were so many stalls of food and gifts inside creating a lovely Christmas atmosphere. We didn’t even go on any rides and still managed to spend 2 hours here just exploring the beautiful grounds! Definitely a highlight of what Copenhagen has to offer.

Tivoli Gardens is a must do day out for families when visiting Copenhagen. The theme park is one of the oldest in the World and is famous for inspiring the original US Disneyland. . The gardens are located directly opposite Copenhagen central station and its location and presence in the city is very unique for a capital. . Using the Copenhagen Card we were able to gain access to the gardens as part of the cards attractions ticket meaning that the only additional charge was the ride pass, which gives you access to all the rides all day long, for as many times as you wish. Please note, if you only want to go on 1 or 2 rides you can just pay as go but 3+ makes buying a ride pass worth it. . My kids loved the rocket and wooden rollercoaster and went on both 4 times each + most of the other rides with only a few exceptions. . The gardens are a spectacular attraction in themselves and it was very enjoyable taking in the different settings and venues dotted around the rides. . There are plenty of places to eat and drink and all are of a high standard and are reasonably priced. If you wish, you can leave and return to the park so long as you get a stamp. However, tickets and passes are only valid for 1 day. . As mentioned at the start of this review Tivoli is a must visit attraction in Copenhagen even if you don't like rides as the site is full of history and character.

Location is just Cool and pleasant to take walk with loved ones. Statue isn’t big but the history behind it is captivating. Industries and wind mills behind the statue will increase the beauty even more attractive. Easily can spend 1 to 2 hours just enjoying the climate.

The little mermaid is one of the iconic sites of Copenhagen. The mermaid is located on the Kastellet (the citadel) area of the city, which is Europe's oldest in use barracks. The area provides ample opportunities to take photos and I highly recommend walking the grounds to get the best perspectives. The mermaid itself can get very busy with tourists, however there are plenty of angles to capture shots whilst avoiding photo bombers.

The most notable landmark of the city. It is situated in a nice park next to the sea so we had such a nice walk to reach it that day. I was not surprised by the size but quite the opposite I thought it was going to be super small while it is like human size. It was crowded but still easily approachable. I was also surprised that tourists can reach and touch the statue itself.

I came here because 'you have to' and after traveling to multiple countries, I guess I'm used to see landmarks that are not spectacular per se. The story behind the mermaid was what initially attracted me. The statue is very simple and even discrete, at night there's not even a light to highlighted it. The area around is gorgeous and it makes the visit worth it.

I visited little mermaid in Copenhagen on 28.10.2022 and it really a refreshing relaxing and memorable experience. It is a very peaceful ambiance and park close to this place is a must to visit place. It is 10-15 mon walk from the nearest station. You will get very peaceful environment to stay there.. It's a nice walk up to the mermaid. The fountain before the mermaid is more stunning, just at the foot of the fortress. The mermaid is traditional to visit. But could be slightly disappointing.

Come early if you want a picture on your own, but this is on all the tours and near the hop on hop off bus stop. There are several statues and places to visit near here, including the Genetically modified Paradise and GM Little Mermaid. You could see the copy in the Reception of the Scandic Copenhagen hotel

It’s a very unique place and lot of tourists reach this place to see the beauty of this statue. More children are exited to visit. To have a visit we can take the public transport, can walk or can have a ride in a boat with all the information guides. I went by walking and I recommend to walk from the center so you can find everyplace while you reaching this destination. It was a small statue. Near you can find some ice cream tracks and some other food tracks also. If you have time can visit to this place or you can skip also while you planning your travels. There are some many people so if we need to take a picture with the mermaid we need to wait little longer. It’s free. No need of a ticket

To see the Little Mermaid is surely a must if one is in Copenhagen. We took a stroll down the Park to the seafront ,it was crowded with visitors taking her picture. Indeed she is really little, sitting there waiting to meet her Prince! Happy that i got to see her !

I found the statue to be quite charming and the area to be lovely for walking. The statue isn't huge, but the draw isn't the size but instead the story. Work with angles and camera zoom and some nice shots can be taken, too. I'd recommend a visit and also encourage others to explore the area around the statue.

It's worth the visit, even with everyone else flocking there. But it's one of those things you have to see as it's the city's icon and should also be remembered to celebrate the works of Hans Christian Andersen.

Not much to look at, except a little statue sitting atop a rock, in some water. But I hear its a must visit landmark when in Copenhagen, so I guess it means a lot to a lot of people. Expect large crowds at most times of the day, tons of people fighting for the perfect selfie spot for the memories. Not much else, I have to say. And, oh, mind the rocks when finding your selfie spot.

It is a lovely statue but oh my, so so many people taking pictures! I couldn't get close to it at all to see the Little Mermaid properly. The rocks are slippery when wet and I saw quite a few people slip. If you have time in the city, go a little later on or early, to avoid crowds.

It's a beautiful sculpture. Easy access by bike. There is no entry fee. it's free to visit. Even though the place was crowded, taking pictures was not so hard. This place is surrounded by water and has an amazing view. And it's very close from Marble Church.

An iconic and beautiful sculpture. Yes, the area is overloaded with tourists, but the walk out to the area is great, and goes through a large park. You can also walk through the old fort on the way. The statue will be appreciated the most by people who enjoy art.

Well worth the walk especially since the excellent Kastellet is right next to it. The mermaid is right by the shoreline, so easy to see and photograph. Fun, free, recommended.

Some say the statue is a disappointment due to being so small. I didn't fund it a disappointment at all and think it's a must-see in Copenhagen. Interesting history of the statue and nostalgic for anyone who grew up with Hans Christian Andersen’s original story.

Loved the view of people crawling around the little statue to take pictures. The mainly empty parking revealed that it was extremely quiet. I cannot imagine visiting the statue in high season. It must be chaotic. The statue itself is lovely, but since the city is full of - in my opinion - more impressive statues, I would always choose to avoid it in high season. The surroundings on the other hand is making strolling around definetely worth it. We sat down by the waterfront and watched boats, swans and blossoming trees.

This is a wonderful statue and very popular. There are areas to walk or cycle and the tour buses stop here.

A tourist attraction of Copenhagen. It's in a park and you can have a good view of the sea. There's a field of windmills on the opposite side. You can get a hot drink (e.g. coffee, tea, chocolate) from the coffee car that park next to the status.

Copenhagen landmark with an interesting history. We went early to avoid the worst of the crowds and combined the visit with a lovely walk around the area. There is a large park, an old fort and a long seafront to explore.

A small and cute castle with an awesome garden and great outside design. I didn't have time to enter the inside, but did a good round walk that I enjoyed. Definitely worth the visit. If you're not going to enter, you can see it good enough from the gardens - the two aren't connected directly probably for security reasons.

What a beautiful place to visit. Even though I didn't go inside, I loved seeing the castle from the outside. The gardens are amazing, and the castle itself looks really impressive. It's a great spot to take pictures and enjoy the atmosphere of Copenhagen. Easily accessible by public transport.

The castle tour is very interesting with lots of art and furnishings to see. The castle does not have good ventilation so go when it's cooler outside. We were there on a very warm day. The surrounding gardens are gorgeous to see.

This old castle is interesting, and of course, the crown jewels in the basement are the big draw. Most of the artifacts are hard to see. Almost everything seemed dusty and neglected. Many of the items are priceless, so it seems sad to let them sit so clearly uncared for. I recommend going with a good guide or guidebook, to get a better sense of the history.

Built in Dutch Renaissance style during the 1600’s its small windows result in dimly lit interiors. Interior plasterwork is ornate and heavy, the main points of interest are the naval tapestries in the great hall on the top floor and the royal regalia and valuable gold and silver items displayed in the basement vaults.

Beautiful castle! The grounds around it are so pretty and you’re able to get a good photo in front of it. It’s worth paying the $18 to enter the castle.

We had a great time here. Very interesting, with the Danish crown treasure and a very well preserved castle. This one is a must see in Copenhagen. One ticket gets you in both the Treasury and the Castle. The castle is unique as most of it is original from the 1600’s. Very cool!

Small castle with some interesting rooms. My favourite is the mirrors room. The free map is very informative with good tidbits about each room. If you have to choose only one of the palaces/castles I would say this one is the one that offers the most for your buck. The gardens are also great for a picnic and a bit of rest. There was a bit of a wait to get in due to entrance times but this also means that you won’t be crowded inside. If you have a tight schedule I would suggest booking in advance.

One of the beautiful historical sites in Copenhegen. Booking for time slot online in advance is highly recommended. It's very well operated and very beautiful from floor to ceiling. There are two separate parts. First entrance to visit the Royal rooms in the castle, and then walking to Treasury which the Royal treasure is stored, including very gorgeous crowns. All staff are very friendly and helpful. So impressive!

Wow! This castle is amazing! The amount of furniture inside here in absolutely incredible! There are loads of rooms to visit here. From the gigantic hall at the top to the small, medieval bathroom at the end, this was just shocking. Definitely recommend coming here! 5 stars! Best castle I've ever been in!

A very good display of Kings/Queens belongings and utilities. One can find a lot of paintings in the castle in every room and also see how the painting skills have changed over decades. The numbered rooms and digital audio guide in the mobile were a good use of technology and easy to know the place. They also give a hard copy of the guide. The castle tour is on multiple floors. Every item, decor, and interior is so grand that each random picture will look very rich. After coming out, be sure to go inside another entrance and check out the treasury in the basement. Excellent collection of jewelry, guns, wine barrels, ivory carvings, etc. The single entry ticket will get you to enter both castle and treasury. After this, one can roam around in the huge gardens. We didn't find the entrance for this from the inside, so we just had to walk till the road and go in the garden from a different entrance. It is very pleasant and well maintained, so it's worth going in the garden.

Great Renaissance era castle. The exterior is super impressive and the grounds are meticulously maintained. To enter the castle it costs 130 Danish Krone - but it is well worth it! The castle has heaps of preserved memorabilia from the era, and the rooms are super interesting - including the “Throne Room”. Highly recommended if you are in Copenhagen.

We only viewed the castle from the King's Garden, across the moat. The architecture is quite lovely and reminiscent of fairytale castles. We didn't have time to go into the castle during our trip, but instead viewed its exterior facade - which is worth stopping to view. It's a lovely area to walk through though.

Absolutely beautiful! Much better than the more famous Amalienborg Palace museum, and well worth the trip. Keep an eye out for the trick chair that was used to make someone look as though they’d wet themselves and the communication holes from one end of the palace to the other!

The castle is small but beautiful. It was less busy than castles we've been to in the past which allowed you to take your time and admire the castle. If your ticket gives you access to the Treasury, that is really beautiful. Combined, the castle took us an hour and a half. That may be reduced if you don't stop to read the information they have displayed. We enjoyed our time there.

Although small on the outside, the castle houses a lot of interesting contents. Work your way through the castle and the history to learn about the different kings. The basement has an impressive selection of ivory and the crown jewels aren't to be missed. Easy to spend 1-1.5 hours here.

A beautiful castle from the outside, filled with decadent displays of royal wealth on the inside. It's good value for the price as each room has something fascinating to look at. The basement, featuring the collection of ivory sculptures and the crown jewels is absolutely amazing, it's truly staggering how much wealth is on display here. The outside rose gardens are also lovely to walk through and get a great view of the castle.

Beautiful castle with a rose garden, a moat and a large park. It’s very peaceful and a nice place to take a break. There is a small play area for children in the park and you will find lots of families there. The interiors are absolutely beautiful. The castle gift shop is very nice and lots of nice articles.

What a magnificent castle housing some impressive artifacts. It was busy so had to wait 50 mins for our slot, which was ok as it gave us the opportunity to explore the grounds and admire the castle from the outside. Once inside, you circulate around each floor. tip, use the guide leaflet available free at the ticket office and is available in multiple languages. You end your tour in the basemen, where the royal Crown Jewels are stored. Very impressive

This is an early 17th century castle that houses the Danish Crown Jewels. The ballroom/knight’s hall and glass cabinet on the top floor were particularly nice to see, as were the surrounding gardens, which are free. Well worth a visit, which I would recommend prioritizing if pressed for time.

This old palace houses a lot of old royal paintings and treasures. The crowns and jewelry are shown in the basement. However, you have to walk up three floors and one floor down to the basement to see all these. No lifts. Bathrooms are also outside the building. The garden is open to the public. It has a separate entrance. That means you cannot walk directly from the castle to the garden.

Well worth a visit to learn more about the history of the Danish royal family 🇩🇰 Plenty to see inside and a lovely park outside the castle to enjoy the fresh air. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in Copenhagen, my highlight of my visit would be The Royal Treasury: The castle’s treasury house, a dazzling array of royal regalia. Diamonds, pearls, and gem-studded scepters gleam behind thick glass. These artifacts, once worn by monarchs, now rest in quiet splendor. Each piece tells a saga—a narrative of power, love, and ambition.

Regarded as one of the best castles in Scandinavia, this site offers a remarkable experience for visitors. Amazing experience, definitely a must visit in Copenhagen. The rooms are decorated with so much detail in renaissance style. You can also learn a bit about the history of Copenhagen, as well as take a nice walk through the gardens( on a warm day!)

Great place if you are interested in history of Danish Emperor. Guided visit on leaflet for each rooms of the castle. The main hall at third floor is also a good place for taking pics. Included in the Copenhagen Pass so highly recommend people with it to spend a morning on it.

Interesting royal castle with rich tapestry and a myriad of items to observe, showcasing the splendour of the royal dynasty and their history. The building is mostly made of smaller rooms, but once you enter the throne room, the proportions are gigantic, and the perspectives are elongated. It's not a visit you can miss, and you'll spend a few hours marvelling around.

Worth the visit! Originally we were simply going to wander outside the grounds, but instead went inside - holy mackerel! So much history and beauty inside the castle. It’s cold inside (winter time), so make sure you dress appropriately. Take your time and really take in the history.

Very impressive castle with extensive gardens. Basement containing Crown jewels , I went in March so it want too busy . The state rooms are also impressive.

The Rundetårn is surely one of the most affordable monuments to visit in Copenhagen, since the ticket is around 6 euros. Absolutely loved the round tower, I'm not a big fan of narrow spiral staircases so normally give these types of buildings a miss. However, the round tower consists of a wide spiral ramp most of the way, then about 28 wooden steps and a short final set of 31 spiral stairs that you go on a traffic light system. Views from the top all round are amazing, theres an observatory at the top and a kiosk. On the way up the tower there's 2 rooms the bell loft and the library hall which hosts changing exhibits and has a small gift shop. The tower has a hollow core and near the top there's a small opening where you can go in and stand on the glass floor above it. A planetarium is on a wall before the wooden steps.

To be honest, I’ve been on other view points in other cities and this one has one big problem and that’s protection bars. Because of them you can’t make any photo or video. The view towards the city is nice and full. Price of the ticket is around 5€ and it’s not problem to climb up since it doesn’t have much stairs. It wasn’t overcrowded.

A cheap experience in Copenhagen that is worth doing. The Round Tower is a very cheap and inexpensive way to see beautiful sights of the city from above. The tower itself is designed in very unique way which has no stairs, only sloped floors. Once you climb to the top of the tower, you can view the city with 360 degree views. Even inside this tower, I was surprised to find toilets and other pieces of historical information about the tower. For how cheap it is to climb this tower, I highly recommend! 😸

This was a nice surprise. The view from the top is amazing. Make sure not to miss the observatory room when you reach the top. Along the way you can see the church, and the library room which is now used for exhibitions. And of course take a photo in the tower privy just for the laughs, but don't confuse it for the proper toilette next door. 😃

A great way to have a fabulous view of the city and beyond. Yes it's a good climb to the top but it's a bricked ramp so it's quite easy. Toilets available. Good information panels. Two nice display rooms. Part of the city tourist card so easy access.

Definitely worth the visit! In the heart of the city,there was no line to get in,40 DKk for adults and 10 for kids. It is a round climb and in every floor there is something to see so it makes it an interesting way. We visited the kimono exhibition-wow! An hour visit,definitely good way to spend time.

This place was really neat. The construction of it is wild and the little windows into the floor placed randomly so you can see into certain parts is really cool. The whole red light/green light system to get to the top was a little frustrating because some people just didn't care or didn't understand. Definitely worth checking out and the view from the top is worth it.

This was a fun visit! Totally new way to scale a tower, with a completely smooth spiral incline all the way up. There was a HUGE tour group who got in just before us so there was a wait at the top to scale the remaining stairs to reach the viewing level. Having 360° views of Copenhagen was awesome. It is a pretty flat city so a great way to see it from above. The observatory was a lovely addition to see too.

The view from the top is great, and the side areas to visit on the walk up and down were very interesting. History and architecture and a view, all in one. The price was reasonable. There is no elevator or escalator. It is a winding ramp walk up and down. There are narrow stairs that may be harder to navigate to enter the top for the view.

What a gorgeous little experience! The tower is mostly what you'd expect, it's round and a bit of a walk going up. Make sure to look out the windows for some very quaint and picturesque views of Copenhagen's streets and rooftops. The tower also contained an exhibit on wolf conservation which was really fascinating and eye opening. This is a great little quick stop while visiting!

This experience is totally unique and unlike anywhere I've ever been too previously. The tower spirals gradually to a viewing platform where you are rewarded with panoramic views of Copenhagen city centre and beyond. It's a short experience (roughly 1 hour), however it's really worth a visit and easily combined with other attractions.

This place was an absolute delight and excellent value for money. Great view at the top and the walk up along the spiral walkway is a lot of fun. There are info cards along the way that explain points of interest. There are also very clean lavatories that are easily accessible. Think this is now my favorite tourist attraction in Copenhagen.

This was a really neat visit! The entry fee was very reasonable, there were a couple spots to stop along the ramp to see an art installation and some historical artifacts, but the obvious highlight is climbing all the way for the top for a beautiful view. There were bathrooms available, which were clean and very appreciated.

I loved walking up the Round tower. Not for those who struggle with walking up steep slopes as the journey up the tower is as much part of the visit as the views from the top. Ticket was 40dkk (about £4.50) and on a nice day I would say it's worth it. Not overly busy at 11am on a Monday but I can imagine it gets busier.

Pass by the tourist site while roaming around the city, resulting in walking up the tower. It was a worthy walk, circling the tower to get up, wasn't so crowded while getting up. A red/ green light was there to advise if it's okay to get up or down the final narrow stairway connecting to the viewpoint. Fun experience

Incredible piece of architecture. Very unusual climb is easy if you an older person great place to take pictures soak in history and just see Copenhagen from above on Tuesdays they do stargazing from the telescope up top check website for hours.

Well worth the cost and any wait that you may have. Not only are the views from the top worth it, but the walk up is just as cool. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good view of the whole city.

Old observatory now act as a museum and viewpoint. The inside is slope up to almost the top. And short steep stair at the end. This is not include in Copen card. However, the price is cheap and worth it. Nice stop but it is not the must.

Great views of the city. Doesn’t take a lot of time. It was a good filler activity between other longer tours. I used the Copenhagen Card to enter, a worthwhile investment if you plan on visiting several sites.

Fascinating building with its spiral ramp leading to an excellent viewing area high above the city, and close to a popular shopping street with plenty of places to eat. Well worth a quick visit.

Would recommend paying to enter as we found the history of the tower and the information interesting. There are large bars at the top that hinder the view a bit but still enjoyable. You can see the telescope in the observatory but cannot enter to read all of the information in there which we found disappointing.

Fun experience in the round tower. The tower is quite high so prepare to walk for a bit inside the round tower until reaching the top. Fantastic view from the above to see the whole Copenhagen. Great views and it may be even better when visiting it during sunset times. It also has a cafe and some spot during the walk to introduce the old building and they are quite informative as well.

We arrived at 10 am and were greeted by a large queue, but it quickly dissipated, and we passed through smoothly. You can bring a pram all the way up; although there are stairs on the top floor, it's safe to leave it there. The view from the top is magnificent and kid-friendly. Admission is 40 DKK per person and 10 DKK for children.

It's an interesting tower with almost no steps. Great view from the top. Yes the queue, it moves fast and it's worth it. The price of the entrance ticket is great too.

Lovely view of Copenhagen from above !!! There is an entrance fee. The tower itself is not very tall but since most buildings in Copenhagen are relatively shorter, it feels like you're on a skyscraper !!! The tower was originally built as an astronomy viewing platform. It is still occasionally used by hobbyists. Access to the viewing deck is not possible for people with limited mobility unfortunately. The tower itself is a big slope, but there are are some very narrow twisting steps at the end. There is an attached gallery/gift shop that is easy to miss. It will be on your left when climbing the tower. ⚠️ DO NOT miss the Cathedral that is attached to the tower. It is very pretty 🌟 and worth a visit. Entrance to the church is obviously free.
