Nice zoo, we spent a full day on a Sunday. It's massive on extension so be prepare to walk a lot. Some animals are difficult to see, we struggled to see with bears, cheetah died so no cheetah. There are tables for picnic so better to take your own food. Missing some other animals such as snakes, insects, that will be nice to see too

Lovely zoo experience as always. If you can it's worth the walk around to see the native animals and scenery. Zoo staff and volunteers lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable. Well worth many visits.

Fantastic zoo, very spacious with plenty of benches to rest on. Greats views. My daughter also enjoyed the summer activities, making a flower bomb and playing in the Dennis the menace area as well as the carousel (£3 extra). My daughter's favourite was the baby elephant and zebra. Would highly recommend eating in base camp, as it has a large seating area and a good menu.

Loved our day here with the kids! Well worth a visit, plenty of animals to see from elephants to lemurs! Really nice play area for the kids, plenty of restaurants to eat and ice cream shops. Overall a lovely day out would definitely go again.

Good variety of different animals and plenty of open space. The only hindering factor depends on the time of year one visits. Since we went in winter many of the animals were not in their enclosures which negatively impacts value for money as less animals can be seen. Regardless it's definitely ideal for families.

Our children were fascinated by the animals. We were delighted to see the cheetahs, lions and tigers - it’s not always possible to see the big cats! We took scooters which made the distance of the zoo easier to cover. We also enjoyed the train ride and the beautiful pink blossom! A fabulous day out!

As with everywhere prices are going up and Whipsnade is no exception with an adult ticket now priced around £30.75. This makes their yearly membership much more attractive. As you need to go 3 or 4 times in the year to break even so to speak. Plus three membership covers London zoo as well. The zoo is running Easter extras including a 'egg' hunt which is looking for egg boards with a chance to win a years gold membership. This was useful for my children to encourage them round the entire site! It is a large site and walking shoes are definitely recommended but this means that even when it is busy you have space. It was good to see the lions which are in loan to ZSL and hopefully Whipsnade will manage to get some of their own to replace the ones they lost in due course. The biggest attraction for my children is always the butterfly house and crocodiles but everyone has their own favourites! As with anything if you want to keep your costs down take your own food. A highly recommended day out!

Whipsnade Zoo is a really brilliant place to spend a day, lots to see and do. Highly recommend a visit. I went on the Elephant experience which was superb again highly recommend booking this informative experience especially if you love Elephants like I do. We opted to pay for driving the car around which was great and made getting around so easy especially for people with mobility issues as it is a big place to walk around with so much to see that having the car really helped. The views around the Zoo are beautiful. If you want a fun and interesting day out go to the Zoo. A baby elephant due anytime so that will be lovely to see when baby arrives.

Really is an amazing zoo, be prepared and get your walking shoes on as this place is huge! Indoor children's area is great for the kids and is free but will need to book in advance! Overall amazing day out with the family.

It's a great place to visit in a summer afternoon. We reached around 2pm and most of the school kids were preparing to leave, so we pretty much had the zoo to ourselves. The zoo is very big and well organized, and the map is very helpful in helping us navigate around. Loved the free roaming wallabies. Penguins, tiger and lions are the ones that one must check out!

This is the best zoo I've ever visited. We took 2 young children and they loved it. Be prepared to do a lot of walking - but it is well worth it. So many animals to see, it's a job to fit it all in. All facilities were clean and tidy, as was the whole site. I recommend paying the extra to take your car in - it allows you to drive around the deer park, which was fantastic. The bird show is not to be missed.

My boyfriend and I spent the day exploring the zoo. We had a great time. We both enjoyed seeing hippos for the first time. We were impressed with the enclosures - especially the rhino one. With many of the enclosures the views were not obstructed by the fencing which made it feel less like a zoo. As we were visiting on a Monday in November the catering facilities were limited. We saved a bit of money buying our tickets in advance.

It is a really lovely zoo. It feels more like a safari the animals have lots of places. The view is amazing after or before you visit the bears. It has a nice playground for the children. We really liked the bird show. The food is basic nothing special, The zoo is still under development. We spent a great afternoon there and really enjoyed it.

It's such an amazing zoo! It's the largest UK zoo,featuring over 2,500 animals! I would recommend booking in advance and come early to have enough time to see all animals. There is plenty of free parking right in front of the entrance, but they also offer paid spaces inside. Make sure you wear comfortable footwear as the zoo is quite big and there is lots of walking. They have a few 'animal talks' during the day where you can hear interesting facts about animals. We managed to catch the one about lions and see the animals. I would definitely recommend seeing them as well as elephants, giraffes, rhinos , there so many animals you can see there! There are some additional activities, as well as some benefits if you have membership. There is a lot of fun for kids as well - carousel, petting zoo, as well as a learning hub centre where they organise group visits for schools. You can have a meal at a few restaurants and cafes or bring your own food and use the picnic area. There are plenty of toilets around the zoo as well. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Oh my gosh I think this is probably the best Zoo I have ever been to. I enjoyed it so much, we went as a family and it was really incredible. The park was laid out with different continents to explore, with loads of ‘walk through’ experiences where you could be in the enclosures with some of the tame animals. There was lots of unique animals that I had never seen before, such as two types of Rhino, Hippos and a butterfly enclosure which was such a great experience. Even on a cold day it was so nice. They had lots of talks around the park which you could get information from. Felt very kid-friendly also, with lots of parks and buggy/wheelchair accessible areas. Still an awesome place for an adult to come also.

Me and my 7 year old son absolutely love this place! So much so, that we have had a Gold member annual pass for 5 years so far. We visit at least 6/7 times a year. It’s such a huge, beautiful place and the animals are obviously very well cared for. The childrens playpark is huge and there is definitely enough to keep the kids entertained what with the soft play and hands on farm all in the same vicinity. The train takes you on a lovely little guided tour of the zoo for a small fee and you get to see some of the animals which you might not see on foot. We also love the little wallaby’s that are free roaming around the grounds of the zoo. Especially when it’s Joey season :) The animal talks are great to watch, we particularly enjoy the Bird chat as the parrots fly right over your head! Also if you time it right you get to see some of the animals being fed…the chimps are by far the most interesting to see in this event. The butterfly house is a delight, so many beautiful butterflies which literally can land on your shoulder. You can also see them hatching out of cocoons. The only advise I would give is to wear very comfy shoes and bring a packed lunch or snacks as the food is very pricey as you would expect. All in all, a fantastic place to visit!

Great family day out, lots to explore. You feel like you can freely explore whichever animal you wish to see first there is no set route. You can get quite close to a lot of them. The butterfly and aquarium are brilliant. Lots of refreshments and food options available.

My wife and I took our 2 boys here recently for the day and we loved it. It is set in a beautiful setting as some of the views are outstanding. It is a big zoo with plenty of space, but it still has plenty of animals to see. There are plenty of places for kids to let off steam. We will definitely go back.

The best zoo I've ever been to- I really enjoyed the butterfly area and the petting zoo! There's so much for all the family to do here and the staff were super welcoming. Definitely recommend spending the whole day there since it is a very big place- there is an option to drive around the park which is really handy especially for those with disabilities. And the view from the top of the hill was amazing, the perfect spot to eat ice cream with the penguins. I spent the entire day and I still don't think I saw everything! There is always more to see so I will definitely be revisiting!

Me and my two boys (2&6) LOVE Whipsnade Zoo!!! We have membership, and it's totally worth it as we are there all the time. We love seeing all the different animals and learning lots about them. And having the freedom to run around in the fresh air. Absolutely great day out for all ages!

It's definitely worth a visit. Highlight of our trip away (two big kids). Large are but pretty flat and buggy accessible. Able to get quite close to the animals. Parking was plentiful and not far from the entrance. Train around the Africa area reasonably priced. Food is dear for what you get but that is expected in a zoo. Most of the good food is around basecamp with a few pop up stalls in other areas. Would also recommend the information guide. Worth a visit!

Such a great experience, took our grandson for the day. The staff were so friendly and informative. Very clean and the animals seemed well cared for. The butterfly house was an unexpected surprise. Lots of walking at a leisurely pace and the train ride was enjoyable. Several very good play areas for the young ones. A great day out. Parking free opposite the entrance.

This zoo is amazing. There are wallabies just roaming free round the zoo. It is a clean zoo and the animals have amazing enclosures. They have plenty of space. You can get so close to the animals it is incredible. You can easily spend all day there. There are that many animals to see that we didn't manage to see them all. Take a picnic as the food is a little pricey but this does not take away from the zoo itself. The staff were so friendly. Especially in the butterfly House and the Bird display. How close you can get to the giraffes and elephants is incredible. Beautifully looked after. We travelled 2 and a half hours to visit this zoo and it absolutely didn't disappoint. If you have little ones definately take a pushchair. X

Recommend a visit in warm weather and not in half term. Visited during half term. The free/exterior car park was closed due to the rainy weather and so we had to queue to enter the site in our cars, which took about 20 mins. Due to half term, there was barely any parking available. The zoo does not appear to be designed for the cold/rainy weather season and lacks paths for pedestrians. There are very few solid paths on the outer enclosures which meant that we had to wade through slushy, muddy grass. The zoo is slacking on services for visitors such as coffee/food kiosks. The cold weather would have been bearable with a hot drink or too, however all of the kiosks were closed. The zoo is great for the animals as all the enclosures are huge and spacious for them. The zoo lacks somewhat for guests, due to limited viewing areas to see the animals and the fact that these are set far back from the paddocks. However it is definitely worth a visit, due to the large variety of animals, including the farm animal area, which I definitely recommend for younger children as they can get close enough to stroke the animals as oppose to the other parts of the zoo.

Me and my mum had an awesome day out today and we saw animals (whom were all mostly asleep) but we managed to see a ton of animals and it was an awesome experience for the both of us and it was rather enjoyable and a ton of fun. My favourite animals that I loved seeing best were the giraffes, zebras and the flamingos! It was great to actually go up to the viewing platform to see the giraffes 🦒 and was awesome to see the zebras through the glass 🦓 It was an amazing day out on the whole and we managed to make a day of it. The cafe, shop, aquarium and butterfly park were wicked, it was awesome 😁

This is one of our favourite zoo, located of the M1 junction 9 as you drive from London. The place is consist in a wide animal diversity, plenty of space to walk, picnic tables and beautiful view. You can drive your car inside like a safari at extra cost but is really worth it! There is an indoor soft play Lullabazoo which you can only book your slot online! Outdoor playgrounds for children with picnic tables around. A beautiful train ride throughout the zoo for £3/person. Depending on the day and time you visit can be traffic on the approach! Highly recommended!

We have had a fantastic experience in the zoo. We managed to see all the animals and wildlife we loved except the bear were hiding too far away. We were impressed by the warm butterflies dome. The setting was organised and well look after. The toilets were clean. We had a great time on the day, thank you! Highly recommended for family outing.

Had a lovely day out, very lucky to see pretty much all of the animals! Especially enjoyed the baby rhino and elephants. Not too busy mid-week, and stopped for an afternoon snack at the restaurant that was open. The train was a fun extra and went to a few of the daily talks.

This is an amazing zoo, so much to see, hours of fun. If you decide to walk around, make sure you have some comfortable footwear as this is a big zoo and well spread out (there is the option of taking your car in). There is plenty of free parking, a zoo shop and a variety of food and drink places. Shelters are also available for those with their own food. A great family day out!

We had a fantastic family day at the zoo! It’s a vast place with wonderfully spacious habitats for the animals, although the diversity of species was somewhat lacking. The train ride didn’t quite hit the mark. While it’s not the top zoo we’ve visited—it certainly has room for improvement—it’s far from the worst. A solid four-star experience.

Our first visit to Whipsnade. My daughter was very keen to see the Asian elephants. She was not disappointed! Great to see these beautiful animals up close. A shame we couldn't spot the brown bear today. I definitely recommend bringing your own food/drink as the various cafes etc. Were quite busy. The aquarium and butterfly house was lovely. We enjoyed trying to spot the different reptiles and seeing the conservation work going on. Lots of steps done today!

A great day out for all! The zoo is spread over a large area, but they allow cars to enter for a fee which can help if you're visiting with young children. There are a choice of eateries around the zoo and coffee shops for those cooler days. The animals are well looked after in great sized enclosures, with enrichment to maintain their mental stimulation. Members enjoy great discounts on food/drinks and also the many experiences on offer at the zoo (keeper for the day; overnight stays etc).

Haven't visited this place since I was a little kid but went on Sunday for a friend's 21st birthday. We all really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun together so definitely for all ages! We especially enjoyed the monkey part of the safari as there were plenty of laughs and interesting sights. Would return at some point.

We really had the best time from the comforts of our car. It was really a trip worth making. Once animal drive through section is over their is section marked for foot safari. Lots of food and activities option to make a full day with your family. Definitely buy tickets before hand.

Thought this place was just a car safari and it would be over in a couple hours but actually you can do the car safari unlimited times and there's also a foot safari! This includes 15 minute shows on various feeding/animal facts which I thought was brilliant. There's also a boating section which we didn't get to do as it was extremely busy. Expected for a bank holiday weekend though. Monkey safari was the most interactive, had lots of fun there! Would definitely recommend to people out there!!

Visited with children during their break from school and it was absolutely an amazing experience. Children thoroughly enjoyed seeing different animals and the best bit was monkey jumping on the car and one of them sat on the bonnet of our car. The safari can only be accessed via your own vehicle and you can do unlimited rounds and then there is foot safari where you get to see loads of other animals. Must recommend!!

Such a great experience driving through the enclosures. When you have family with mobility issues, this is a brilliant way to still get close to the animals, from the comfort of your car. Plenty of animals to see and some come up quite close. My favourite by far were the tigers and the lions. The enclosures are huge and its great to see so much space for the animals to roam in. If you don't want scratches or broken wing mirrors, you can bypass the monkey enclosure (and go see them on foot instead, in the walk about section). Some of the walk about section isn't very wheelchair friendly with all the hills and dips, it makes it quite tricky. There is plenty to explore though. And the close encounter experience with the giraffes, was amazing. Feeding them and being in the enclosure, you just don't realise how tall they actually are, until your beside them up close. Great day out for all the family 👍

It was good day out experience. Animals looks free and healthy as they have lot of space to move. Monkeys area is a waste of time if you have seen monkeys before. The train ride is a waste considering the wating and the ride is at least 1hr. Children will enjoy the soft play better. All inclusive ticket is cheaper but vegetarian or vegan food options are terrible. That must be improved, the position size is shocking small compared to meet and fish options. **" Walking areas has no signal except very few, If you go as a team... Stay as a team as it is challenging to find once missed. It's sad that animals are exposed to lot of air pollution due to vehicles... Best if they have electric shuttles.

I used to love this place as a kid and still do as an adult! I much prefer safari parks to zoos as the animals have much more space to roam and you can get a lot closer to them. The family’s favourite part is always the monkey section, there’s an option to skip it as to not risk damage to your car, but the day wouldn’t be the same! The only downside was we weren’t given any times for the shows, so missed them all.

I booked a day here for a birthday and we had a blast. Due to going on a weekday it was quiet so we could really take our time in the park. It was luckily a sunny day which did make it better. It is recommended to drive round a couple times to make sure you have the best chance to see all the animals. After than there is a a portion of the park to do on foot which gives you a chance to get even closer, especially to some animals as you're in the exhibit with them. I would highly recommend the giraffe house talk if it is available as you get to see them a lot closer. Would highly recommend getting here early and spending a whole day here!

Nice place, modest cost of the ticket considering it includes all expenses related to the Safari. Not far from London about a an hour. The time required to visit the park varies a lot I would say from 2-3 hours up to all day considering that you can do the tour several times to see the animals and that there is a picnic area. In addition to the car ride, there is a rest area before the exit where you can eat and find various services, plus there are also other animals. In total I think I saw rhinos and other herbivores entering then we go to the carnivore area where I only saw a tiger and a herd of lions, exiting there you can see elephants and giraffes with other herbivores, and in the rest area there are red pandas, sea lions, parrots, monkeys, penguins and sheep. All in all a nice experience that I will do again on a sunny day suggest.

It was my birthday trip and I had a simply amazing experience and a lot of fun. It was my first Safari by car. There were so many kinds of animals. Ofcourse monkeys are the best of the best. :)) Everyone just wait when some monkey jump on his/her car and I got it :)) Was a little bit sad that many kiosks were closed, but that's understandable because it's autumn, it was Monday and there aren't that many visitors anymore.

Visited on a Friday and was not crowded. Overall a pleasant experience. The road safari is nice with some really nice touches like driving through a group of giraffes or having monkeys jump on your car. It is not very long per se, I think we were done in 1h with a few stops. However the place has really good facilities with play areas that we enjoyed a lot, including a big soft play area!

Great experience especially for children. We have been here several times and the kids just love it. This time we were lucky enough to be approached by zebras, monkeys and giraffes. The place is quite big with a lot of animals to see, there is also a picnic area. However the map for the walking part is a bit confusing but other than that it is something you dont want to miss

I went with my family and it was really fun!! Me and my brother loved seeing the animals so close and the lions looked so cool. The monkeys were the best, because they loved coming on our car! We also saw penguins, sea lions, elephants and even giraffes! Overall, really good experience!

Woburn Safari Park is incredible, very interactive environment. You can walk around the Wallaby enclosure. The trainers and animal handlers were very passionate and knowledgable. Your able to reenter the safari trail in your car as many times as you want. The little monkeys were kind to are car this time around. Great day out, I highly recommend it.

A great place for kids but not only :) Lots of attractions.Animals are calm, which cannot be said about monkeys.There's a good chance they'll jump on your car. You can bypass them, but then there is no best attraction for kids.If there are a lot of cars, the line of cars moves very slowly.

What a wonderful family day - kids and adults both loved it! The amount of animals we saw was amazing and they were all so up close. We had a great encounter in the monkey enclosure with the monkey sat on the car! We only needed to drive through the safari once as we saw everything so well, though there is the option to drive round again. The drive safari is definitely the highlight with the foot safari being a tad underwhelming once you’ve seen the drive though. There are some swan pedalo boats which were free to use for 10 minutes which was a lovely addition.

As we entered we saw baby Bison and large Bison running around and that was a nice start. On the actual road safari the first time around we saw nothing but I decided to try again and we saw a Rhinoceros, a Zebra no Tiger and the bears really came out to play. We then saw the Lions as a little dot in the distance. The Giraffes are lovely, they are behind a fence, the monkeys do climb on cars and are very entertaining especially the young ones. The walking safari was okay, with the Meerkats and lemurs; and the food nice, very pricey at £8.50 for a hotdog. So things to note:-For the normal safari you will need to drive around a few times (you can drive around as many times as you want) to catch the animals. Even though I doubt you will get the Tiger as I don’t think there is one there. Let me know if you do! If you pay more for the truck safari, the rangers drive you off trail, right up to the animals, which is nice. Be on time for talks otherwise as we found out with the sea lions show - they will not let you in. The swan lake with the boats is relaxing and they have disability access and space for elderly mobiles. The staff are friendly and helpful. Be prepared to pay extra for things like the sea lion show which is an extra £2.50 per person. We did not do the railway but I am told that it is nice as well. All in all a good day out. Would I go again? No, only because a day was enough to do everything.

Woburn Safari Park offers a fantastic wildlife experience with a variety of animals to see up close. The drive-through safari is a unique and thrilling way to observe the animals in their natural habitat. A must-visit for animal lovers!

The big draw and the best part of this place is the road Safari itself. The enclosures are amazing - absolutely huge with lots of enrichment and places for the animals to get some peace and quiet away from humans. I loved that you could go around the driving safari as much as you want to increase your chances of seeing animals. The staff are also really lovely and well informed. Barney is particularly informative. We were also lucky enough to see a 3 week old baby lemur. The foot Safari area, which is more like a classic wildlife park, need a bit of TLC. There is a lot of areas that need attention and painting and there were a lot of accessibility issues where areas were dead ends because of stairs. There was also a lack of signposting and the layout was a little unclear. Even with the map it could hard to find your way around. The bird of prey area is particularly hard to find your way to if you’ve never been before and the entrance has no signposting at all. The worst part of the park is the restaurant and gift shop. The restaurant is really dismal and depressing with overpriced mediocre and in-fun food. They need to get some themed food in there. The gift shop was full of plastic tat. Which was particularly confusing after having an inspiring sea lion show where the staff stressed the importance of avoiding plastic pollution 🤷‍♂️ All in all we had a great day but I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get.

Love this place! One of our new favourites...it felt like an authentic game drive spotting different animals and the kids and adults loved it alike. Plus they have great facilities and indoor play area for when you need a break.

Such a lovely place. Animals amazing, soft play and Bouncy castle my little girl is 2 and loves a day out there. Only thing I would suggest is bring own food a lot of money for not the highest quality or range of food.

Excellent safari park with lots of activities for all ages. The driving sections amongst the animals was lovely. The kids had a blast in the play areas, train and pedalos. The cafe had a pretty good selection and food our kids would eat. Reminder! Don’t feed the animals (apart from the kids).

Excellent day out for children (and dads) of all ages You can go around the road safari as many times as you like and I recommend having certainly 2 trips as the animals move around.The animals can come very close and be warned monkeys like roof racks The foot safari is also good and has the usual eateries and a free boating lake and train rideThe refreshments aren't cheap so bring a picnic and the price of coffee is akin to being mugged. During the 'season' tickets are cheaper in advance

Had a great day out. Thought it a bit pricey bit was actually worth the money. Watched Zebras walk around us in the car, Rhino's saunter around us, walked with Lemurs, spent time in the walk through aviary and saw the most amazing baby otter! Kids loved it, didn't do the paddle boats on the lake full of fish, or the train ride past the Llama's, take a picnic with you as it's nearly £15 for fish chips and mushy peas.

The perfect place to spend the day with your family and friends, specially if you have kids, the day pure and simple goes by without even knowing! Plenty of things to do specially for children like, seeing animals, indoor soft play area and outdoor! Outdoor playground. Picnic tables, restaurant, and even a little pond where you can ride on your own efforts little swans boats. A trip with little train rides available following a timetable! As you finish your safari you can re-enter and do the itinerary again, in your car only! I can’t recommend enough! Five stars from us!

Amazing day for us! There weren’t many visitors so we had such a relaxed drive around the safari and couldn’t believe there were bears! The foot safari is small and dated, also in the winter a lot of it’s closed (understandable) but there were lovely animal encounters there too!

Would give 10 stars if it were possible. I gave my husband a certificate for the VIP safari “Big Cats' Breakfast” for the New Year as a gift. Yesterday we attended this event and were incredibly delighted! Our guide, Bob, showed everything in detail, even much more than the certificate suggested. We were able to feed the lions, touch the giraffes and pet the rhinoceros. This is one of the most memorable days of our lives! Bob gave a wonderful, interesting tour with excellent sense of humor. We were left with a lot of impressions. We really want to come back here again. The park is well equipped for visitors, there is a cafe with hot delicious lunches, a souvenir shop and all the amenities. Thanks to all the park employees, Bob, and, of course, the animals who welcomed us!

Loved the spa. Lots of rooms and time to relax. The 3-hour spa session was ideal. The scented and inhalation rooms weren't very scented but the rest was nice. Make sure to take your own flip-flops as they are not provided. Use if the spa is not included with treatments.

Had the most amazing time at this spa, we had a gorgeous room with a giant bath! The breakfast brought to the bedroom in the morning was a nice touch and we enjoyed it on our balcony. The spa has so many different steam rooms/saunas to go in, you could spend a full day here and it not be enough!

The Aqua Sana is a really amazing place. There was so many lovely rooms to use, steam rooms, saunas, relaxation rooms, meditation rooms and a heated outdoor pool. There is also a lovely cafe you can visit to order fresh and healthy food and drinks. The changing rooms and showers are big and clean, stocked with soaps, shower gel, shampoos and hairdryers. You are provided with towels and dressing gown upon arrival which is a really nice touch too. I would recommend you bring some flips flips to wear while walking around the spa though

Nothing short of brilliant. The day from start to finish was amazing. Big big praise to Carole on the reception of aqua Sana who helped us book treatments on the day and went the extra mile by always checking in with us and seeing what treatments we could have. She was so friendly and kind defo made the experience a million times better.

Whilst at Center Parcs, Woburn, my wife paid £65 per person for the Aqua Sana. This was absolutely amazing, the place was fantastic, it had such a large choice of different rooms to use & pools. The staff were lovely & it was so clean. We had all kinds of different experiences throughout the visit & was not rushed. In fact, we actually stayed for about 4 hours & made use of all the facilities. The saunas were so warm, leaving us feeling lovely & refreshed afterwards. I would certainly say that this is one of the best spas that we have ever visited.

We are frequent visitors to Center Parcs but this is the first time we have stayed at Aqua Sana. It was simply magical. My partner and I went for our babymoon and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a glass of bubbles and then shown around. The spa itself it amazing. So much choice and all the different experiences and rooms are incredible. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our suite was great too, with fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. It is fully equipped with two TVs, aircon and an amazing, powerful shower. We think it is pretty good value too considering lunch, breakfast, 2 treatments AND a meal voucher are included in the price. Our included treatments were great and lasted an hour. The only downside is that now we cannot go to any other spa as it won’t compare! Just means we will have to go back!

Overall it was a good experience, however I think they’ve over complicated themselves with all the rooms. A lot of the rooms didn’t work or weren’t warm enough. I’d say only one sauna and a couple of steam rooms were great and the rest disappointing. The “sensory section” was very underwhelming!! However not a lot of spas offer free demonstrations and seminars so this was great - got to try several facial products and the staff were lovely. We had a relaxing morning but, I’ve been to better spas.

One of the best spas! There are over 20 rooms across 2 floors that you have access to for 3 hours, which is a perfect amount of time! The rooms were lovely but we felt that the swimming pool was quite overlooked and very cold being outside. A nice hottub or jacuzzi inside would have made the visit even better. We had afternoon tea before too which was lovely, although weren't given our drinks and we had to ask again for these as it seemed they forgot and we're given no cutlery, so staff could have been more attentive. Overall, would recommend and would visit again.

Best Spa I've been to by miles. Huge, great facilities, nice food and drinks. Very serene. Great location by the Centre Parks too. Busy early in the day but quieter in the afternoon.

I recently visited Aqua Sana and had an amazing experience. From the moment I stepped into the spa, I was blown away by the beautiful surroundings and calming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made me feel at home right away. The facilities at Aqua Sana are top-notch, and I was impressed by the range of treatments and activities on offer. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and the relaxation rooms, which were the perfect places to unwind and recharge. The treatments themselves were fantastic, and the therapists were knowledgeable and professional. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated, with a renewed sense of energy and wellbeing. Overall, I would highly recommend Aqua Sana to anyone looking for a luxurious and rejuvenating spa experience. The staff and facilities are exceptional, and the treatments are truly world-class

Went to the Day Spa on a day package. Driving in had to get out of the car and speak into intercom to get someone to raise the barrier, luckily it wasn't raining! A bit confusing was how to get through the hotel to find the spa. The check in was informative but left trying to remember all that was said! Then again trying to find where everything is. After that things got much better, had a lovely welcome breakfast outside on the terrace. Huge spa with lots of different themes. The pool water was delughtfully warm and went outside with lots of water jets. Lunch was very nice there was a good choice and the service was excellent had a nail treatment booked, and my friend had the hot stone massage we both loved our treatments they weren't rushed and the beauticians were friendly and professional. There was one of the themed rooms not working. Found the whole experience wonderful, we both really enjoyed our day

Recently visited Aqua Sana and have to say it was a wonderful experience end to end. Great options for relaxation and I came out literally floating. My favourite which was hard to choose was the salt steam room... and close second was the blossom rain walk. I will definitely return to this spa in the future.

Had a fantastic experience today at Aqua Sana. For the price, I felt like that the value was spot on. All spa facilities were spotlessly clean. I also felt that the spa wasn’t overbooked. No waits for any of the rooms/saunas/pool. Staff were fantastically polite and helpful. A brilliant day. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, all the staff were superb. The spa was welcoming, cosy and clean. The staff all through were super. The food and drinks were excellent. The spa grounds have lots of different rooms to relax and an inviting, not too big outdoor shallow pool to stretch, swim or just to have a soak.

Had a “spring spa day with lunch.” Superb spa rooms and great outside affinity pool in a beautiful outdoor forest setting . Paid for “Spring into Spa day for 2 as treat for my partner… check in was chaotic and disorganised. no welcome drink on arrival as offered in spa day and no glass of bubbly with grazing board lunch as advertised and staff let my experience down today!

Loved the spa, the variety of things to try and the calming space. Our treatments were lovely too so can't fault the spa aspect but the vitalite cafe was a serious let down. Service was shockingly bad both at breakfast, lunch and tea. We had to ask to be served each time. Ordered cake and teas to finish off our day and then had to ask for the cake to be brought out. Then was brought stale, rock hard clotted cream (expiry of that same day). I asked for a replacement so was brought the same but microwaved. Really shocking service. I spoke with the manager who removed this from our bill but didn't seem too phased by microwaved clotted cream. Very odd. And just left our last thing and thought of the day as being exasperating. I'd definitely recommend management look at the restaurant because it lets the whole place down.

Enjoyed the most wonderful, relaxing, luxurious, overnight spa break here. Absolutely loved everything about it! The spa itself was superb. The spa suite was 5 star. Had a massage that was really good too. Food and service were fantastic. The breaks are expensive, but an an amazing treat.

The spa is lovely lots of saunas and steam rooms, the length of treatments are hit and miss depending on who is carrying your treatment out. I had a head massage that lasted 17 minutes. The lady turned up 3 minutes late and finished 5 early. My daughters was shorter paid for 55 minute treatment and received in all ,40 minutes. The receptionist initially tried to justify it when I complained but then called the manager who gave a 20% discount. My husband’s treatment was the full 55 minutes. It’s a shame they are cut short and you feel rushed with certain members of staff.

Visited on a frosty and foggy day, still amazed at this beautiful place. Plenty of parking on site. It is an English Heritage site so free entry for members. Lovely little cafe with toilets and gift shop on site. The gardens are stunning with lots of little hidden gems and pathways. The house was open on our visit, although only a few rooms are available for viewing they are still beautiful. There is a nearby wood which can be explored too. Will definitely return in the warmer weather for full exploration of the grounds and to seethe gardens in full bloom. This place is worth a visit, would allow a full day to be able to see everything.

Fabulous English Heritage manor house. Unfortunately, most of the house contents were sold off but that doesn't lessen the architectural beauty. The grounds are stunning with several other buildings on site, including a bath house and orangery. Statues adorn the gardens and are dotted throughout the estate. We spent several hours exploring. Staff were happy to chat and tell us about the history of the building and the families that lived there throughout the years. Play park, gift shop and cafe plus clean toilets on site. Plenty of parking available.

Saw most of what there was to see but only found 2 of 6 posts from the children's activity trail! Staff in house very knowledgeable. Beautiful grounds with lots of damselflies and dragonflies around the lake. Not enough wild flowers to attract other creatures. TOO MANY WASPS! Measures were in place around playground and cafe to deter or capture the wasps - but they were still in abundance. Good playground with nice variety of equipment.

A weekend excursion to Wrest Park proves to be a compelling experience, despite the intermittent rain. The entrance process was seamless, and the enthusiastic staff provided a warm welcome. Engaging with the knowledgeable gentleman at the reception, we received detailed information about seasonal ticket options. A leisurely stroll through the meticulously maintained gardens, though devoid of winter blooms, revealed their inherent charm. Anticipating the vibrant colors in Spring or Summer adds to the allure. Inside the house, we encountered a gracious and informed guide who shared insights into the estate's history and its current custodians. A wealth of information was provided regarding the literary collection showcased on the shelves. The grand staircase, captivating paintings, and the discreetly positioned stage behind a wall were noteworthy highlights. My visit was thoroughly enjoyable, and I anticipate returning during the warmer seasons to witness the gardens in full bloom. Heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff for enhancing the visitor experience.

A gorgeous place to spend half day walking along the gardens, different views in all four seasons. The herbaceous boarder and the 200+ years wisteria are stunning. The whole park is very well maintained, and perfect for families.

Spent a lovely few hours wandering around this rather stately stately home. You can see the crazy decorations inside the house and then wander around the huge gardens. In the gardens you can find many interesting and beautiful buildings such as an orangery. Has a nice shop and cafe there too.

Amazing National Heritage house, with so much space to walk around, take some mosquito repellent during the summer months as the midges are biting like crazy, stunning shaded cool areas to hide from the sun, dog friendly too, with a dog cemetery from previous owners, nice playground for kids, nice cafeteria too, £18 entrance fee, near the village of Silsoe.

Lovely country house from 1800s, ground floor only and does not contain any original furniture as this was already gone when English Herritage took over. Gardens are the main focus here I would say with a large lake and pavilion at the far end plus the usual Orangery that these houses always to have, you can easily walk around for 2 or 3 hours to see the various landmarks.

Fantastic, beautiful place, part of English history. There are stunning gardens, house, lake, and much more. It's worth it every minute.

Very nice park. They cut the hours in winter, so they were nice enough to let us in and though it was a quick 50 minutes, we were glad we did. Grounds were immaculate. The gift shop was nice and it had a big Cafe. Gotta see it at least once.

I just love the grounds as there's always something different to see. Lots of different wildlife too if you take your time and keep your eyes open. Wheelchair accessible in many areas. Cafe and shop on site. Ample parking, too... It's not the cheapest venue, but English Heritage membership takes care of the cost. Go for it, treat yourself...

Fantastic place to visit, 92 archers of grounds and woodlands to explore, nice cafe and shop. and dog friendly to. quote expensive to get in unless you're a member of English heritage.

This is an amazing English Heritage site. The gardens are stunning and there is plenty to see. The house is ver pretty, and it would be the perfect place to spend the whole day. We were unlucky with the weather though. An the queues for the cafeteria are quite long. Buy overall, we loved it!

We had an enjoyable visit. The rooms themselves are fabulous but sadly lacking period furniture or artifacts. Nevertheless a worthwhile visit. The park and gardens are fabulous. The café had a reasonable selection.

We enjoyed a very relaxed mooch around the gardens for most of a bank holiday Saturday. Some impressive formal gardens and plenty of space to stretch the legs and enjoy the views. If the weather is good, take a picnic? The cafe was fine with tables outside in the sun but couldn’t help feeling the family with rugs laid out and the small game of rounders had hit the home run

A grand house with the most beautiful of gardens. Lots of space to walk around and a play area, gift shop and coffee shop. Also the staff made all the difference...ever ready to sing the history of this stately home.

I love this place... It IS English Heritage so you get in free if you are a member or you can buy tickets online OR at the venue... You don't really need to book in advance now, just turn up on the day. It has lovely gardens to walk round and is dog 'on lead' friendly. You can visit the house as well. A great coffee shop with cake, sarnies and some hot food but on busy days they DO run out of something things fairly early (unless it's just been my luck a couple of times I've been!).. There is parking available. 2023 saw their first Christmas Light event. English Heritage members get a discount on these tickets and I have to say.... I thought for a first attempt they did a really good job .. I didn't want to show too many pictures as I feel u have to actually GO to appreciate the event... I recommend it.

We went for the lights festival. This was really cool it wasn't just tree lights, the tree a we're lit in vibrant pink, green orange and purples. Beautiful. My son loved it. Highly recommend, a winter holiday must!

The visit to the house was very interesting and informative even though only one room had furniture in it. The grounds are extensive, do take the free audio guide from the ticket office, it gives you a self guided tour round the grounds with so much information on what you are seeing.

The garden is very nice, with great vistas and trees and impressive "out houses"....these are free to look at... The house however is just a con. 2 empty rooms open in this vast complex full of offices for English Heritage I'm assuming. And for that..... £16 Don't pay. Just look around the gardens Just drive in Walk in Have a gander Go home.

Very fun little farm. Great for kids. Demonstrations with the birds were great and the ladies hosting were friendly and informative (including the new lady who fought the nerves away to host for the first time and did a great job). The rest of the staff we dealt with were really friendly too. Barrel rides, owl flights, lots of play equipment, petting zoo, oh and the odd dinosaur kept the kids entertained all morning. Good value for money. Will be back soon to try the tea room.

Today, I had my birthday present from my lovely family. What a fantastic experience. Highlight holding a beautiful Red Kite. Wow moment, having a Bald Eagle land on my hand. Most exciting raptor the amazing Bateleur. Funniest Brian the Brahminy Kite. I met some absolutely beautiful birds. Jake was very interesting and really knows his stuff. Sharon, you need need a medal, dealing with visitors, shop and tearoom pretty much single handed and all with a smile on your face. I can't wait to come back.

What a wonderful day we had on Easter Monday 2022 at Herrings Green Farm! I think it's a fab place to spend time on any given day but for Easter they had set up a fun-filled schedule that all the children loved, including flying displays, tractors rides, animal interactions, an Easter egg hunt and much more. We had children aged 18 months to 12 years and they all said how much they loved it. It is well worth the money and I'd even recommend an annual membership if you live in the area as it is a such a vast space, with different enclosures, various play areas for all ages, a wide variety of animals, especially birds of prey (with all the interesting information provided) and amenities are great. The staff are knowledgeable and kind, the cafe offers lots of options (we brought our own picnic but did try their hot drinks and cake - very good) and there's loads of parking. Something I also noticed is that they offer a staggering amount of activity days, courses and events, like hawking or hunting with eagles, junior animal keeper days. You can also book for schools, birthdays or special events.

We came on Saturday with our little boy and a friend with his little boy, we absolutely loved it such a wonderful farm lots of different animals and bird to see also great play areas for the kids. We loved the shows and the pat a pet, would definitely recommend fir a family day out. we've just booked our son's 7th birthday here he loved it so much thank you ☺️

My Daughter brought a 3 hour experience with Birds of Prey, for my Birthday. Absolutely Fabulous day. The Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, our guide was Shona), but the real stars of the show were obviously the birds. A large variety from very small to huge, were all on view and were all placed on our gloved hands. I have been to places like this before, but have never found birds that were so at ease with people. You could bring them very close to you and see them in great detail, with no sense of threat or unease with the birds, (who seemed happy and content throughout). An excellent venue, well run and friendly

Had a lovely afternoon out. The bird of prey display was absorbing, educational and entertaining. In the aviaries the birds looked to be well kept and there was plenty of information on the species. The kids loved the rabbit and guinea pig petting session. A tractor ride made a nice break. Once we'd seen everything there was a little obstacle course and play area, again the kids enjoyed this. The only thing I'd say negatively was the food available in the tea shop was pre packaged and of variable quality. OK for a snack but I'd probably eat somewhere else if going again. Overall well worth a visit.

Great selection of birds. Some stunning birds of prey, as for the rest of it, I wouldn’t rush back. Unorganised, scheduled flight display just didn’t happen, when I questioned it was told, it was cancelled due to lack of people and that animal handling would be on in place an hour later. Returned and all that was available was an owl flight. Whilst we enjoyed that, it was a little disappointing. The toilets were filthy, no hand wash, no towels, toilets didn’t flush, there were very few people so no reason why. No signs to direct you to the other animal areas and generally shabby.

Went here for a 3hr experience my bf bought me for Xmas. Unfortunately the day we went it was a bit drizzly and rainy so seems the experience was cut short? We didn't get to fly any birds ourselves as they state in the website and didn't get to see the larger birds of prey fly (like the kites or eagles). Did get to hold an American bald Eagle, 2 large owls and a small falcon. I loved seeing all the different birds but I'd say being a large group means you end up waiting a while for turns. Overall I loved being so close to these birds, there were lots to see from tiny cute owls to massive sea eagles!

Amazing afternoon at Herrings Green Activity! Staff were absolutely lovely and made the experience grand. Wide array of birds allowing for great photography. The midday show was absolutely fantastic! Very informative and a lot of fun getting people involved. If you have kids it’s a perfect day out!

What a great day out. Lots of birds and farm animals to see. Play area for the kids & lots of picnic benches. The bird displays were amazing & the little ones loved the tractor ride & feeding the goats. Getting the opportunity to wear a glove and have a owl on you was definitely everyone's highlight. The toilets were a bit dated (porta cabins in car park) and when we went the car parks seemed full so the chap told us to start a row down the middle! But this is only a small niggle & shouldn't put you off going! Nice tea room selling cakes, sandwiches and ice cream.

Herrings Green Activity Farm and Bird of Prey Activity Centre is a delightful experience that made for a memorable Secret Santa Christmas gift brought for me by my daughters. My gift included a walk with the Alpacas, an Owl experience and tea/coffee cake afterwards. The passion and knowledge the staff have are second to none and share their love and enthusiasm adding to the overall enjoyment. Very friendly and welcoming. The chance to interact with majestic birds of prey was truly captivating. It's a perfect outing for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Highly recommend wearing wellies, although that sounds obvious there were a few people with wet and muddy feet in what looked like new trainers 😮. Parking slight issue due to the wet weather with the overflow car park being flooded. So decided to park on the main road. No fault to the centre as not much they can do about it.

I love this place. Always interactive and plenty of things to do so children can get closer to the animals. The bird displays are amazing! And the animals seem happy as they are all flown daily and get looked after. However I do wonder how often the cages are cleaned. The last time I was there, the red macaw was being kept in a cage far too small for him. However I believe they were making him a much larger area. I sincerely hope this has been done already. Overall though we visit this farm every few months as there is a HUGE amount of birds that are incredible. It's a great afternoon out for kids & adults.

Best to go when good weather, lots of variety of birds, organised groups can experience holding them, interesting displays. Knowledgeable staff. Play area is a little tired, fine for under 8s, but you don't go there for the play area.

A great day out at Herrings Farm. Some amazing, majestic and awesome birds. The highlight was definitely the display and getting the chance to handle the owl. Kids area was fun as was seeing the other farm animals. Kids enjoyed the goat feeding. Was a bit muddy and mushy but that was expected with the current climate. The staff and bird handlers were so friendly and informative. Will return for sure in summer time.

Had a really lovely time here with our group of four on the owl and eagle experience. Sarah was our host and was super knowledgeable about all of the birds as well as making sure we were comfortable when handling them. Highly recommend this experience for meeting these beautiful birds and having the privilege of flying them. The bird flying show was also excellent. Thank you!

Payed for a family falconry experience to find out when we got there that they have no disabled access nor do they accommodate for people in wheelchairs. there is no disabled toilet. The ground is muddy and soft and was unable to joining the activities and some of the poor and hilarious excuses they tried using simply outrageous and was told there’s no manager but I could talk to and have to email them instead reply the food quality in the restaurant is terrible no dietary selections and the presentation well… most of your children can do better

Amazing day out, we went hunting with the Harris hawks and then held and flew eagles, owls and falcons. Carly was absolutely fantastic in explaining the birds to us.

Lots of lovely birds and the show was amazing, very much worth visiting. The staff put on a show twice daily which is fantastic for both adults and children alike and learnt many things about the different types of birds they have and what they can do.

Great place for stop just off the M1 for a more relaxing break for an hour or two. Interesting museum and gardens and nice tea room. And it's free!

What a lovely place. Everyone is very nice at the Gift shop & Cafe and Museum. The gardens and surrounding grounds have been beautifully cared for (even during the winter time). We especially enjoyed the ornamental garden/allotment at the end of the gardens path. The friendly and chirpy hen that’s living in the allotment part of the garden was very sweet and she was flourishing despite her past life (she’s a rescued hen), it’d be nice to see her with a companion in her enclosure on our next visit (if she’d like the company). The museum is very interesting and I could’ve spent more time there for sure :). I’d highly recommend that you visit the museum and gardens if you get the chance.

This is such a great park. Fantastic gardens with some interesting museums and also some history regarding the site itself. Easy access from the M1, good parking and they only ask for a voluntary donation to enter. I have been a few times and always enjoyed it. It is located very close to Luton airport so you also get the thrill of the planes flying very low overhead.

Nice place to spot on, nice garden and flowers. Good to hang around for 1 or 2 hours with family and friends. Photographic everywhere. We love it

Went for the Illuminated lights, honestly one of the most beautiful light shows I've been to, so, those of you looking for nature and beauty, check for more light shows here! Used to come to the museum as a kid, and it still fills me with joy to see that they have kept the exhibits as well as updated the play areas so that it's definitely a good family place to go!

There has very lovely gardens, nice playground and good cafe. You should visit car museum. There is amazing. We have been there 2 times and loved each visiting and discovered different things. You can learn details about alirim and English history

Stunning gem of a place that is so peaceful and relaxing. Fantastic garden areas for picnics or just looking around the designed gardens. The museum housed carriages from small ones to elaborate ones and made you realise how uncomfortable horse drawn carriages were to travel in. The cafe area is also lovely, lots of seating with a calm and quiet area also. One star off as the sausage roll I ordered was cold and I was expecting it to be hot and crispy. Just over £5 for it along with a cappuccino so not the cheapest.

Discovered the discovery centre whilst planning a route home and thought we would schedule a stop here as opposed to a services or similar. It was easy to find and has its own free car park. We wasn't really sure what to expect, and it didn't seem overly busy or anything when we got there. The place is pretty large with a fair bit of variety in what it offers. There is a hall with a museum of carriages (including some that my kids think Santa part exchanged in at some point). There is gardens and lawn areas which are nice to wonder through, which also includes an allotment area set out to give an idea of what it was like in the war growing your own veg etc. There was also some museum areas on more ancient times, which was useful for the young'un for school! We didn't get to see the butterfly area as it was closed off, but the kids had a go on the playpark. Considering this is free admission, it's well worth a visit even if you go with the intention of only visiting certain parts of it (I'd imagine the carriage museum part might be an acquired taste - although certainly interesting I would add!) We spent a good couple of hours here before jumping in the car and continuing our journey! (Also if you have kids who like planes, they seem to have a path straight over the centre for the airport and they can do a bit of plane spotting!!)

Beautiful and calm. There was no rush when we went on a hot summer weekend. Perfect place for children. It has big lawns to play.

Lovely place. The gardens are beautiful. Nice little cafe and friendly staff. Lots of free parking too and climbing frames for the kids. Plus a lil history museum. Recommend a visit. Also lots of grounds if you are on a tight budget bring your own picnic instead of using the cafe.

Beautiful gardens and a interesting small museum. However the cafe was a bit of a let down due to poor, slow service and food not great. I had a bacon and brie cibatta with a chutney that tasted of curry powder, which wasn't nice, plus a sprinking of crisps. Very disappointed as the cafe used to be great.
