This is one of the worst museums that I have visited in Europe. Mostly it is full of nonsense rooms that are meant to be art. But they advertise this as a wine museum, not an art museum. There is an interesting story to tell about the history of the Barolo wine, but this museum doesn't even attempt to tell it. They really failed hard here. They should remove everything and hire a historian to oversee the creation of an actual wine museum. The tower in Barbaresco had an Andy Warhol exhibition while we were there. It was much cooler and more interesting than this even though it is only a small tower. The Barolo wine is amazing though.

Not many things to do inside, but the views are amazing.

Embarrassingly bad. Far too much space and effort devoted to bizarre "art" installations (e.g. flying metronomes) while relevant content about the history of wine, wine growing in the region, the science of wine and flavour, etc was either nonexistent or relegated to a few tedious text plaques. So disappointing. Such an interesting subject should have been dealt with in a really engaging way yet this museum seems to go out of its way to avoid doing that. Why??

Joke of a museum. Nothing interesting on display and too much focus on airy-fairy (and amateur) art installations. For a region with such rich winemaking history, the curators have really fumbled on a great opportunity. Don't waste your time and money!

Museums are not usually what I like best about traveling, but I loved visiting this museum. I found it visually appealing and colorful. Perfect view from the top outside. The subject matter, wine, is fun for me, and I thought it was presented well, including educational material that was fresh to me.

This place is weird, in a mostly good way. I expected something much more traditional, the exhibits are a little kooky, bus till fun. View from the upper terrace is worth the price of admission and there is a nice tasting room in the cellar.

This is NOT a museum about wine. It's a random collection of arty farty nonsense that has absolutely nothing to do with wine. For example one of the rooms is filled with metronomes fitted with angel wings hanging from the ceiling (see photo). The most interesting rooms are the ones that are not part of the museum, where you can sometimes get a glimpse of how the castle used to look before it was destroyed by the museum.

Silly museum more about puppets than wine. Castle was cool with nice views. The mirror art rooms were the coolest. Wouldn’t bother going unless you need to kill time. 10-20 euro a person, too much for what it was.

🏰🍷🏰 Scenographic castle in the heart of the Langhe. Free entrance in the garden (with outstanding view) and in the open air museum (how to make wine, very nice). To enter the castle and the castle museum there is ticket and limited entrance (Covid restrictions). Some free parking spaces around the castle and a couple of good resturants in the area. Worth a visit!

Beautiful castle on top of the langhe hills. Beautiful views of the vineyards and the tour is quite interesting to learn about all the different wines of the region. Great wine cellar for dégustations as well

Very nice place that should not to be missed in Piedmont. The museum is for sure worth a visit (7,-). The Audioguide provides some information especially made for children (what our 5 years old liked). Around the castle you’ll find a free of charge walk that gives a good introduction to circle of a wine-year. The Enoteca was very well equipped and impressed with good service, tasting and very good English.

A castle with a great view, also a good place to get some wines, we got the barbera superiore from piazzo for a similar price as at the winery itself. The castle tour was cool to walk around and we learned to drink 2 glasses of wine each evening. The restaurant is also a good place to have a drink before you go.

Grinzane Cavour castle is home to the internationally famous truffle auction sale. I took part in a wine tasting there and I have to say that it’s a very cozy place for that kind of activity. On the other side if you are looking for a good local wine for a reasonable price you’re probably in the wrong place since!

On the way to the “International truffle fair of Alba”, we stopped in this beautiful fairytale castle. Awide and interesting selection of wines and even a restaurant with view. Panoramic and amazing place.

Beautiful place. The view and the vineyards are great with lots of information about the wine making proces and the seasonal work that is done. The castle inside is less special but for €7 who cares, it’s beautiful.

Nice castle, the panorama that you can see from the castle's hill and from the top of it's towers is amazing. The museum inside the castle is interesting and there is a nice shop full of wines and typical foods of this region.

This is more what I expected when I visited the WiMu wine museum in nearby Barolo. Nice exhibits about the area, History and wine beautiful old castle with beautiful grounds and views. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely. And I think it may even have a Michelin star. There is a nice Enoteca at bottom of the castle and Anna who poured our tasting was very knowledgeable and helpful.

They demand some kind of old fashioned reservation through email and didn’t let me go inside without it even then there was no one else waiting. Quite ridiculous. At least they could introduce online ticket system not playing with emails like 20 years ago!

Absolutely magnificent place. Huge historical and artistic value. Unfortunately it is being left without the mantainance it deserves.

Magnificent exterior and beautiful interior rooms with different themes. Multiple chambers with different Chinese art, galleries with portraits and other diverse paintings, a billiard room, an authentic bathroom and huge kitchen in the basement. Room descriptions are only available in Italian though.

This former royal summer palace is easily reachable by train from Turin. Visits are only with a guide, only in Italian and assume visitors all know the various members of the Savoy family, but even if you can’t understand everything, the palace is still worth visiting - It certainly deserves more visitors. On the regular tour, you visit the ground floor and kitchens. There are apparently special tours on certain days that include the bedrooms. Sadly the park is currently closed, but it looked nice from the window.

If you come to Turin, for sure you should go and see the Summer Palace of Racconigi. It is situated approximately 50 km from Turin but it is one of the best castles to see. Big part of the castle passed under construction and it is really very nice to enter in and to hear the interesting and curiosity stories about the castle. There you can find maybe the most big Kitchen you have ever seen, you cannot even imagine, but I am sure you will like it and wish to come back again. Behind the castle there is one really big garden where you can go and relax after the tour in the castle. The price of visit is very low but it is worth seeing. Racconigi and the castle is a place where you can see lots of stork every year. Four kilometers from the castle you can find the Center of Storks and Anatidae. In the center during all the years you can observe different kind of local and migrating birds. Go there and you will be satisfied!

I can’t recommend Racconigi castle enough. As one of the House of Savoy’s favorite holiday homes, it still has an air of their presence and that of their staff. The grounds provide a stunning backdrop. My only recommendation is to go in the the warmer months when it’s a pleasure to stay outside and the castle itself isn’t too cold.

Very interesting Palace going through refurbishing and will be for many years but it has a great deal to offer and the guided tour was done well. Worth Evey cent to enter.

A place not to miss. It's a breathtaking dome in a very endearing city. With the mountain outlined in the horizon it is really a must go in the area.

We decided to spend Easter in the Provinces of Cuneo, and our first stop was here, at the Sanctuary, it looks amazing and majestic, it is one of the most famous in the region of Piedmont and the biggest in the world, the elliptical dome has wonderful frescoes, really a nice place to visit and see it for yourself and not just in photos, the place is sorrounded by arcades with shops and bars.

Super beautiful view. There is a short tour climbing up to the top of the church, visitors should take it.

This is the biggest oval dome of the entire world! You can't miss it! They recently moved the tombs of the last king and queen of Italy there. Something really interesting to see.

Nice little shopping centre and has facilities for young babies to get them changed. The shopping centre was clean overall and not overly busy making it nice pleasant shopping trip.

Huge outlet ville, very expensive. You can't really buy any clothes or shoes as the offer is bigger and better on the internet, but it has nice cafés and restaurants and a big Coop where you can shop nice local food and especially wines. Parking is big and the furniture and kitchen shops have good offers. We will be back. Le Langhe is also a must !

Actually, i don't really know what to say, there is always a discount in all shops and it's a nice place to take kids for walking, and shopping.

It's a quiet place here coz a bit far from center of mondovi city and this outlet have a brands but not much as serravalle

Big outlet, somehow still not too much variety in shops. Clean and spacious

You can fine what you need in this open mall. It si not huge but you need around 2 to 3 hour to go through it all
