Last tram stop from the Entertainment Centre or Adelaide CBD. This provides an ideal stop for visit to the Glenelg Beach/ Jetty, shopping area, restaurants and bars, childrens entertainment centre. All of these places are within easy walking distance from this tram stop and is also wheelchair friendly.

What a beautiful place to visit! The Botanic Gardens is free to enter and is conveniently located on the free tram route. We spent a good 2-3 hours there and only touched on the surface of what the gardens has to offer. Definitely a place that warrants multiple trips to really appreciate. There’s a variety of areas to see including everything from a rose garden to a succulent garden to a conservatory with ferns and other tropical plants. The site is really well maintained and has ample areas to sit and just relax. There’s multiple paths throughout the place, so I’d recommend having a map to help you navigate (unfortunately, though there are signposts indicating different sites, they don’t have nearly enough maps posted throughout the gardens). Overall, great place to visit! One of the best Botanical Gardens we’ve seen in Australia!

A sensational garden! Very well planned, lots of variety and we loved the little tracks through the trees! Well signed, lots of amusement and surprise and birds galore. We loved how many edible varieties there were too. Anyone visiting Adelaide with a few hours to kill will love this place. Also great for kids as there’s plenty of area to run about and also have a picnic. There was a special event on while we were there with big dinosaurs in the gardens and the kids seemed to be loving that!

The garden is so beautiful. The glass structure, something like cottage, all these structures looks amazing. They have created something like rain forest inside that glass building. It was a really good experience to walk around there. The small pond inside the glass building has a beautiful fish. I would definitely recommend to go and visit this place.

The picnic I spent here was very peaceful and fantastic. The weather was perfect under the sun and the sky was very beautiful. I was so happy that I lost track of time. I recommend this place if you want to spend a convenient time. You'll be able to spend a cup of coffee and some spare time. If I come back to Adelaide, I will definitely revisit it.

It's a beautiful and serene place to visit. The wildlife is gorgeous and the plants and water features are stunning. It's very peaceful and calming and definitely worth a visit. I've been here so many times and I still adore it as much as I did the first time 😊

Great place to spend the day with your family having a picnic or just wondering around. Beautiful gardens beautiful grass spaces very chill in the middle of the city. Lots of filtered water and bathrooms around. One café with live music on Saturday. Easy ticket parking around, no free parking except on holidays.

Beautiful gardens! It was incredibly quiet when I was there too (mid-afternoon weekday) which meant it was very peaceful. The gardens are so well maintained and fantastically green. They're a great place to walk through or spend an afternoon relaxing.

I spent over 3 hours here - absolutely stunning! Gorgeous for weddings or garden parities. Toilet facilities were decent. Restaurant on site and the wine spot was brilliant too. Wear comfy walking shoes, hat & sunscreen; don’t forget your water bottle

Small but charming gardens, they have so much to offer. For example, please make sure you visit Museums and exhibitions, particularly the economic botany house, you will learn a lot about how and what plants contributed to our human economy, see unique specimens. There are several dedicated sections for different plants, conifers, giant waterlilies, Dahlia garden is lovely as well. Good option for a warm afternoon.

I loved it🤩! It’s a fantastic place to get to know nature, fresh air or just to have a walk or a picnic. I recommend wearing sunscreen and comfy shoes. It’s very well located, around there you can find more distractions such as the gallery or museums.

There are variety of plants in here and you can picnic or just walking around to see many different kinds of plants and taking photos. It's best to come here on sunny day, and if you come here near the end of winter the weather is still pretty chill so you'll not feel hot

Really enjoyed the Adelaide Botanical gardens. They were well laid out and I especially enjoyed the breathing garden. Felt so calming. The cafe had some great choices for food and drinks. Being gluten sensitive can be a pain at times. Definitely recommend checking the gardens out.

These gardens were not the best we have been to. They were still very enjoyable and well laid out. This place is used for other venues like weddings and private events. The wildlife was also a nice treat. Especially the numerous turtles.

The Botanic Gardens in Adelaide are a true oasis. Beautifully landscaped gardens with majestic avenues and breathtaking architecture in the heart of the city. Many individual areas provide information about a wide variety of plants in Australia and from other countries. The rose garden is particularly popular here with roses that have adapted to the hot climate of Australia. Highly recommended!

Lots to see and do. Plenty of benches, toilets and areas to picnic or walk. Beautifully designed and looked after. My favourite part was the Lilly pond and exotic south America plants.

Love the gardens, it's my favourite place to get lost in and I've taken my camera to get some nice shots too. There's maps and stuff but unless you don't want to miss anything, I recommend just wondering for the experience. Great way to kill a few hours. We paid to go into the rainforest and photography exhibition which was Amazing. There's so many cool little secret gardens and pathways. You could get lost for hours. It would be a beautiful place for a wedding. So happy we went

Good place to spend your Sunday afternoon. There were different parts of the garden to see. I found the cactus/ succulents and the Amazonian lily section the best.

Amazing place. It's clean, spacious, people are all warm and kind. There's different kind of stores that sells just about everything and you can find good snacks or gifts as souvenirs here too. There is a whole section of little restaurants and also another section of tables and chairs in the open for anyone to sit or dine. Highly recommended.

Cute little markets in the middle of Adelaide city. It is right beside the Chinatown area and has a wide variety of foods and other interesting or exciting items. They have food from different countries and is a bit more upmarket compared to regular market food. It is also divided into different “avenues” to keep it organised. The shops range from grocery and meat stores, to bakeries and desserts, to spice and soap or homeware stores. It was quite enjoyable walking through here, and the best part is that it opens at 7am (3 days a week, 9am for the other days) and closes quite late on Fridays, and generally at 5:30pm for most other days. Probably one of the more enjoyable places to explore in Adelaide as there is generally something for everyone.

Great range of fresh fruit and vegetables at great prices. Lots of variety in fish and cold meats as well. Can get busy Friday night and weekends as well. The car park does fill up quickly so it’s best to get in early. Great smells and heritage are at the markets too. If you get a chance to visit, I highly recommend going there for a visit.

A great place to visit while you’re in Adelaide. It has everything you need from veggies, fruits, to bakery items, cheese, coffee beans, wine, and many more. Well, you won’t find clothes here. But the market covers all your hunger needs. It’s two storey. The place has ample enough parking with a paid parking near by. Just because it’s a street market don’t expect cheap products. The items are of great quality too. It’s a good place to go if you wish to spend your Friday night having a bit of a walk.

Excellent!!! If you are in Adelaide, you will have to visit the Market. Plenty of fresh produce, food and deli stores. Store owners are so friendly, passionate and helpful in recommending their products. It was so enjoyable that we went back again the next day.

Fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. Cakes, coffee and restaurants. I had the poffertjes (small fluffy pancakes) and it was really good. Cinnamon, lemon and cream on top and so yum.

It is different Victoria Market in Melbourne. It has much more variance in food like South America, Europe, Asia. Some of them are very nice. But I haven’t had a chance to try big table. I will give it a try next time. I love the buZzy environment there. It is ALIVE

A very beautiful market in the heart of Adelaide. The market is spacious, well-organized, and offers a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, and spices. There are also plenty of stands with coffee, pastries, and bread, as well as a few places where you can sit down for breakfast or lunch. In any case, it's worth a visit and a stroll. Additionally, there is a parking lot above the market, which is subject to a fee.

Interesting place to stroll and visit when you're in Adelaide. You can get fruits,vegetables, cheese,nuts,wines,fresh meat&poultry, seafood, coffee, pastries of all sorts. There are also food stalls,cafes and restaurants if you're hungry. The place is housed in a historical building and it is clean&well kept.There are ample parking upstairs and in the streets. Recommended.

It's amazing discovery in China Town where you will experience of many interesting stalls of fresh fruits, meats, cheese, flowers and nuts etc by all means also wonderful foods to enjoy; highly recommended.

The Adelaide Central Markets were amazing 🙌 The freshest produce and largest selections of fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, and all assortments of things. It is a huge indoor market with endless isles to browse and feast from. This city is the cleanest city I have seen! We visited for the Fringe Festival, stopping along the way to visit friends in the country town of Sherlock, before hitting the Murray River and heart of the city centre. I was hesitant on how I should score this place, it was either 3 or 4 stars and I did end up giving 4, the reason it was so hard to decide is because my mixed feelings about this place, as a local market it has a huge selection of different fruit and vegetables store almost like a farmer's market but it also combines a couple of nice eateries and wineries, to top that of it's always one of the busiest places in CBD which make parking and moving very disturbing on pick hours, I've been there a few times already as this is one of Adelaide iconic places and I can't deny that I've been there a few time and I'll probably be there many more times in the future, so all in all I would recommend going there for the experience just make sure to go when it's not super busy because then it's not as fun.

Let me jump straight into the highlights... Get the custard tarts near the entrance. This is the best tasting tarts I ever had in my life. This is not an exaggeration. I hope it finds its way to Singapore and the world eventually. Make sure you try the coffin bay oysters as well. It is not very fresh here as compared to the restaurant but... it certainly is much cheaper. Maybe you could ask and get them freshly shucked. There is a wide selection of food, fruits and vegetable but the price are not very competitive. It is a fun place to be at and certainly one of Adelaide's must go.

Nice clean little market situated near Chinatown. The market itself is not too big, everywhere is an easy walk. Lots of places to go for a coffee and lunch. The parking is spacious and not too costly. Do yourself a favor and grab a box of Portuguese tarts from Saudade!

The experience of visiting here was very good. It sells foods from various countries and sells various fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, it was fun to see various cheeses and ham. If I lived nearby, I would have come often to shop. But I don't think it's bad for tourists to visit, either.

Fabulous zoo suitable for the whole family! Great collection of exhibits and animals. Navigation and access and all easy. There is a large children’s playground as well. Plenty of cleaver exhibits for nocturnal animals as well. Strong recommend from me!

Beautiful Zoo and Animals. Had a lovely time with my family walking around. Seen all the cute animals and had a good day. Food is way overpriced we paid $42.30 for 3 hotdogs and 3 small chips. Eat before you go.

Great day out for the family. If you have little ones, great the zoobaru for $15. Good fun. You can probably see most animals in just over 2 hours. If you go on Sunday, parking is free on plain tree drive.

Every time we visit there is something different to see. The animals are well cared for and clearly do much goes on behind the scenes that the public likely aren’t aware of. I talked to a staff person whose job was to electronically document what the red pandas were doing every two minutes as they were newly introduced to each other. An absolute South Australian icon and well known to be amongst one of the best zoos in the world. We’ve been to many and this is accurate. We have become life members due to the great place this is.

The zoo is a nice experience but not better than most others I have visited. Very good for children with a lot of Meet the Keeper educational shows through the day. We arrived at 945, most of the animals were hiding or asleep so I suggest to start in the afternoon. Took us 3 hours to see everything.

Only a small space, but well laid out and so much happening. We even had the delight of seeing the Pandas, despite them not being on display. Friendly staff and great displays. Only complaint: limited souvenirs.

On a recent visit to Adelaide I was privileged to visit Adelaide Zoo. It is absolutely charming, the gardens are divine and many of the enclosures are very innovative for example the aerial tunnels for the red pandas. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit can’t wait to go again

Phenomenal experience in Adelaide zoo that is bigger than it looks. Has every animals you can think of aside from aquatic animals (except for turtle 🐢 and penguins 🐧). There's roughly 2 cafes with food in here and plenty of bathroom while walking around. Aside from that, there's some shows or feeding session at specific hours that brings in crowds watching. Very spacious and pleasant visit so far.

Very interesting and good variety of animals. Well presented animal enclosures. We enjoyed lunch in the zoo. The souvenirs were a bit lacking as I was looking for an adult size T-shirt 😞

A phenomenal adventure in every way. I recommend booking ahead if you want to go to any specific animal experiences, as there were only a few left when I went in the morning on a weekend, though I loved the tortoise and pygmy hippo experiences that I did go to, and so also could recommend just rocking up and seeing what "less popular" animals are still available for a more intimate experience (or even one-on-one experience as I had with the tortoises). I spent an entire day here from almost opening time through to closing, and I still feel like I could have spent more time here because there are so many animals to see. Bring some good walking shoes, a bottle of water, and a fan if you're going in summer, though there is plenty of seating with some lovely views of the animals all around, and some air-conditioned areas such as where the insects are and pandas. Lovely descriptive signage complete with an indication of how threatened each species is. If you'd like to see a particular animal, look up their most active hours ahead of time and plan your stroll past them then, or at feeding time (many more animals were active in the morning particularly on the hot summer day I went). A beautiful zoo, definitely a must-visit if you are in Adelaide, especially as being the only zoo in Australia with giant pandas at time of writing.

Very clean and lovely scenery. Not as much to see as some other zoos I've been to, but still a great day. Especially If you have got little kiddies as everything is exciting 😊 The playground Is actually really good. Lots of tables and chairs and pricing was pretty standard for a public place.

Love the zoo, friendly, helpful staff. Nice layout with lots of cool plants. Animals look content in good size, clean enclosures. Like the conservation efforts and message of this zoo. Very nice and fully equipped zoo. It is easily accessible for wheelchair. All the animals were happy and playful. Specially lions put on an excellent show by cuddling and playing with each other.

We liked our visit to the zoo! It was a beautiful day and we got ample time to spend time observing the animal mannerisms. The lioness was such a poser and Sumatran Tiger was not happy with something , Kangaroos and Wallabies were busy eating while the Dingo’s were busy playing! The orangutan walked the ramp and went out of sight! Some said the zoo is small but I felt it was really well maintained and easy to cover in a couple of hours with the right dose of animals!

Wow! What an amazing zoo! I was so impressed. The variety of animals was amazing. There were the likes of tigers and pandas which seem to be so rare to find at zoos. We also saw the animals so up close which was incredible. The environment was beautiful and green and there were barely any people there on a weekday. Winner! There are also helpful and knowledgeable volunteers all around the zoo which was a nice touch.

We had a fantastic visit to the zoo, where we enjoyed seeing a wide variety of animals and admiring the beautiful plants. A helpful tip for future visitors: try to visit the pandas before lunchtime, as they tend to sleep in the afternoon, making them harder to spot later in the day.

It was a beautiful place , but few of the animals like the penguins , birds of prey , big red kangaroos were missing in the enclosure . Great spot for families. It would have been great if it had more cafes or eateries

Been a long time since I went to the zoo. Nicely updated facilities. Lion and lioness feeding time was the highlight! And of course the Pandas (I like that you do not have a separate fee to see the Pandas now) Also, enjoyed the walkthrough avaries. The pigmy hippo was a favourite, watching the hippo play with a ball in and out of the water.

Relatively small compared to other zoo's but very nice for what it is and entertaining if you have little ones, Ive been here twice now with my family and would say its a good day out if you pair a visit here with the botanic gardens or something happening in that very scenic north terrace area. My only negative is Id say the ticket prices are a bit too high but I guess you could always buy a membership

I spent a few hours and saw everything more than once. Many more animals than I’ve shared on my review too. If you want to see giant pandas, get in quickly as it looks as though they will go back to China later in 2024 due to lack of funding. The zoo has a cafe and a couple of gift shops, isn’t too big and minimal enclosures are currently closed. Book animal encounters well ahead to avoid disappointment. Staff were friendly and informative. Wear comfy walking shoes, bring water, wear a hat & sunscreen!

Visited this place mainly for the pandas which was lovely! Lucky to see at least one of the 2 pandas active during the feeding session. We also went around to see the other attractions and other animals—some areas were crowded but this is expected as it is school holidays. There are water fountains around the area which is good. Shaded seating areas are available for quick rests in between. Toilets were clean.

A very small zoo compared other Interstate zoos, however it was nice to be able to see the animals with ease. The whole place felt like new, it was nice to walk around. Only wish the parking was easier & cheaper.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with heaps to see. The giraffes were amazing and the meerkats and otters were just adorable. The coffee at the cafe in the middle of the zoo was just delicious. I think it’s brilliant how they have a big bird cage backing on to the toilets in the middle of the zoo but definitely feel sorry for the birds with the things they have to smell! Of course the toilets could have some better up keep but over all it wasn’t the worst.

A wonderful zoo to visit. Lots of easily accessible paths and ramps for pushers and wheelchairs. Some great demonstrations of exotic birds, sea lions and other animals throughout the day.

It was our first outing to the Zoo. Wide variety of animals to see and great outing overall. All facilities are very well maintained, water points throughout the Zoo as well for filling up your water bottle. The giant Panda was our favourite. Unfortunately there were no Koala's at the time of our visit. We will definitely be back.

Overall a great experience. Footy games are a whole different vibe! So many great opportunities at Adelaide oval located in North Adelaide, right across from the River Torrens. Roofclimbs, catering, weddings, accommodation, concerts. Would highly recommend to anyone for any type of experience. You won't be disappointed.

We were in the mtx club. This was a great way to enjoy the game. There is a restaurant up there with a fireplace and takeaway burgers, chips etc. Multiple bars to order drinks from and plenty of table and chairs. The stadium is stunning. I loved this experience.

This review is from a corporate invite to the Gage Rd Bunker for the Crows vs Port showdown. A great evening of footy at the heart of the action. The Gage Rd Bunker is right behind the Crows cheer squad close to the goal. The view of the other end of the pitch was less than ideal but the home end couldn't have been better. The Bunker bar and food package, obviously featuring the Gage Rd product range, was good with a reasonable range and generous quantity of food. Being able to see into the Crows team room was an interesting insight especially as they won and we got to feel part of the celebration.

Did the tour, my advice, do the tour! Our guide, Chris, was so knowledgeable. So much history around the AO and he knew it all and boy can he walk fast. The old scoreboard is a historical standout in this age of technology. The Bradman museum, the change rooms, the story behind Victor Richardson...wow! So much to take in. Thanks AO and Chris.

We visited this nice stadium for the first time and of course, to witness a great battle between Adelaide Crows & Gold Coast Suns with a pleasant result Haha. We were truly amazed by the astonishing structure and design of the Oval as one of the most iconic footy stadiums in Australia. Did not even think that from the outside the Oval could be such a masterpiece. We would definitely be back there for another match.

The place is really amazing, and Marvellous. If you want to experience best and top notch hospitality do visit this Hotel. Housekeeping staff are really doing a great job as you won’t be able to find any dust on any of the furniture tops or side tables. The aroma of the room is so beautiful. Front office staff: They are really best at providing all the information and the help you need for your stay. The special note thing which they do is really cute and good intangible experience. Food is at their best as well. Strongly recommend you too visit this property

One of the greatest cricket stadiums I've ever seen. Great venue for everyone, with all the facilities when needed. Maintaining really well, and beautiful architecture. Located in the city with easy access to transport facilities. Ample parking available close to the venue.

Great stadium as seats on the lower level are pretty close to the ground. The only issue is that people who see the first 2 rows that you can't buy are fill up from people just wandering down. Security very laxed on that front. Around the stadium is great as plenty of benches to stand around to eat or drink. The rooftop walks look pretty good for the dare devil

Fantastic stadium in Australia, this is home to the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Power AFL teams, and also home to the Adelaide Strikers cricket big bash team, and to international cricket test matches, T20 and one day matches in Australia. I went to the Crows v North Melbourne match and the crowd atmosphere was electric. The place to be is on the hill, but you won’t be able to see the other part of the ground fully. You need to be somewhere in the middle and on the second level to get a great view but it will cost you money. The stadium has several food and drink stations so you won’t go hungry or thirsty during any footy or cricket match. The stadium is a short walk from Adelaide central train station and it is a really nice walk along the riverbank.

Magnificent structure. All stadiums are obviously designed to cater for large crowds but AO is efficient. Even with 50,000 in attendance the concourse feels spacious. Also lots of sanitary facilities for the ladies so no excessive queues. I do however wish stadiums had a kid friendly area for little ones to stay safe and roam, but maybe that’s too much to ask as viewing space is money!

This was my second visit to the Oval. This time, it was a great experience. The winter package deal included valet parking, complimentary drink and chocolates (very small box), and a 3 course meal at Bespoke. Good value. Room 628 was great, a bit more spacious than the last room I was in. The view was amazing. Staff happily and promptly provided requested softer pillows and a shower chair. A discounted breakfast was offered and enjoyed.

Fantastic arena, lots of history and a beautiful setting. The tour was informative, and the guide was super knowledgeable. Would definitely come back, and can't wait to see a cricket or football match here.

We attended a private function at this venue, The venue itself was impressive and the staff there were very attentive, we arrived early so tried out the wine bar upstairs with a massive selection of food and drinks, this was followed by a private walking of the grounds, a firework show and then a great dinner event with lots of activities to keep us all busy, the location is an easy walk to the city across the bridge and to the casino hotel which is also a great venue to stay at

Great venue… excellent staff and well managed place. The food stalls are not bad. Recently I’ve found out that different stalls got different menu. Years I’ve been going to the same one close to my seat but this year I went to the next food stall which looked the same but they had fish & chips and also tacos!!

First time to the AFL at Adelaide Oval and it didnt disapoint! Easy to get to and close to public transport Clean facilities and well planned entry/exit points Great view of the match as well!

An iconic infrastructure in South Australia, haven’t been to so many Oval but this is to me the best venue for any cricket events in the world. Love going there again and again and enjoy watching matches after matches. Been to the entire Oval tour couple of time and visited like players dressing room, media room every where and loved it. It created an attachment to me.

My partner and her children did the roof walk (which was great), so I did a wander and also enjoyed the Bespoke bar. Great venue!

Always a good time whenever we go to Adelaide Oval! One of the nicest grounds in my opinion and the facilities are always well looked after. My husband always usually manages to run into someone well known while here as well lol.

Great venue for the footy! Easy to catch a footy express bus almost to the front door. Lots of bars, places to grab food.

I love the street performances always have at Rundle. You can find (all) everything here. A place for you find the city center’s vibe and noisy sound around to make you feel more lively in life.

As the heart of Adelaide, it serves well, providing shopping and entertainment. Different sculptures add character, even if pigs and pigeons seem strange choices for the land of Koalas and Kookaburras. And if you're gonna meet somewhere, where better than the "Malls Balls"!

Main Mall of the city and includes the Adelaide Arcade, oldest shopping mall in Australia we were told. Great statues of animals and modern art/Sculpture. Of course, many shops and eateries to choose from.

Brilliant walk, night or day super shopping I was here 2004 and now 2022 still fantastic, bit of scaffolding going on but still shopping is live in CBD Adelaide.

A walkable shopping street in the centre of Adelaide. Interesting sculptures and a variety of shops and services. Seems to have lots of seating and shading. There were also extra light installations and art decoration during the months of Illuminate Adelaide. Love this place.

Great place to unwind and go on a shopping spree in the middle of Adelaide. Well connected by public transport. And you'll always find e-scooters nearby to ride on. Warning: the actual alley of Rundle mall is a no go zone for e-scooters and your e-scooter will power down if you try to drive through the open mall, may have to push through back to the street - which is not he best thing when you were zooming past crowd just a minute earlier.

It is one of the greatest places in Australia, in my opinion. Always a hive of activity, culture, experience, entertainment, and character. From the brass pig statues eating rubbish, to the girl in pigtails statue, to friendly buskers, this mall is more like a fun art gallery. I visit the mall at every chance I get when I'm in Adelaide, often staying at hotels close by so I can just walk around in the evening.

A must have to visit when you come to Adelaide. I'm lucky to have chance spending Christmas here. So many thing you can buy on Boxing day. Just one thing I don't like is all malls, shops and stores close at 5pm :)))

It brings me great joy to return to Rundle Mall after over seven years away. There's always a lot going on here. I relocated to Sydney towards the end of 2016. I was originally from Adelaide. However, Rundle Mall is one of the locations in Adelaide that I still miss.

Fantastic mall with a wide variety of shops for a complete shopping experience. Lovely art pieces spread throughout the mall that makes for good photo opportunities and to the enjoyment of kids and adults alike. It is one of the most vibrant places in Adelaide CBD. Any given time, mood will be happier just only by sitting in the middle of Rundle Mall. Kids enjoy a lot and there are so much happening for them. It is place for everyone! So many old buildings with heritage design, hell lot of mall with world famous brand for shopping. Have a cup of coffee and enjoy watching the celebrations of life of different communities and cultures.

This city is the cleanest city I have seen! We visited for the Fringe Festival, stopping along the way to visit friends in the country town of Sherlock, before hitting the Murray River, the heart of the city centre, and onto Henley Beach. 😊 Brisbane, Qld.
