Entered at 3ish on a Tuesday, lucky for us the pipe organs were warming up. Stood as close as possible to the biggest one, earthquake/hurricane feeling of the pedal notes made me giddy and my knees wobbly and I had yet to have a drink that day. I will never forget this.

Awesome zoo, clear instructions, lots of clean and free bathrooms (which seems to be hard to find in Germany!😬), animals are in a good care. The zoo is pretty big so you need 2-3 hours. There’s a gift shop with lots of stuffed animals to choose from.

My family and I visited Osnabrück Zoo and we were blown away by the size and variety of the animal exhibits! The zoo is massive, with something for everyone to enjoy. As a family with a 5 year old son, we found it to be an excellent choice.
We decided to purchase the year ticket, which turned out to be great value for money as we were able to visit multiple times throughout the year. The cafe was also excellent, serving up classic German fries and sausage which we thoroughly enjoyed.
There was ample parking available, which made our visit hassle-free. The sky walk was definitely the highlight of our trip - the views of the animals and surrounding area were simply breathtaking. The playgrounds were also fantastic and provided a fun and safe environment for our son to play in.
Overall, we highly recommend Osnabrück Zoo to anyone looking for a fun and educational day out. It's the perfect choice for families with young children and animal lovers alike. We can't wait to visit again!

These are my favorite animal pictures captured at the zoo in Osnabrück (Germany) on Wednessday last week! All the animals look so impressive when you watch them live their lives in the clean habitats and there are great options to satisfy your hungry and thirst too!
I visited the zoo a few times as a kid with my family and now I appreciate the animals and the great care they receive even more.
This is a must see for Zoo fanatics, I have walked for six hours in this zoo last week, visited each animals twice and enjoyed every second of it!

Very nice place for offroad driving. The maps are quite hard to follow because there are no obvious marks or signs to follow. But, still very nice. We went with kids and it was no problem at all. Good food in the restaurant. We had a good day. Only thing what keeps me from giving five stars is that it's a little bit the same wherever you go. Oh.. and whatch out. Water can be deep! (ask me how I know!!) 🤣🤣🤣👍

I find it hard to believe that you guys dont get insurance claims for the spinal breaking go-karts seats. Everyone's back was seriously sore afterwards. How in gods sake could you still use those seats with a vertical bump in the middle of the backrest?

My first visit from Australia. Awesome sauna and pool experience! Modern facility and clean. Very convenient system to change your clothes and store them. They give you a bracelet when you enter which you use as a key for your lockers and payment. You pay towards the end of your session.

20m swimming pool, and a huge area to relax which includes a round pool with fountain and outside pool with salt water. Upper floors have restaurant, massages, saunas and other SPA&Wellness features.
The place is not designed for making swimming as a sport, but mostly for those who just want to relax.
The tickets are quite pricey, e.g. children from 3 to 14 years should pay 8-50 EUR for 2 hours of swimming as a base price. You pay a base price and all the extra SPA&Wellness features you use are paid extra on exit.

Natural pools are awesome idea, and here you can see it from first hand. Idea to have thise big fish is what bring me in. And I must say its so cool to have natural pools without chemicals with fish inside. Its proof that works on both ways, for aquarium and for pools. Place is big enough to spend a nice day there.
Bear Heart (:zo.) — Google review
It's cool spot for scuba diving, though I think the tunnels are a bit same-y in appearance. Very large, tame fish that just swim right up to you. Good facilities and safety instructions, though they have trouble communicating in English. The dive spots is quite a distance from the parking spots, and a bit uphill too, but there's a cart you can borrow free of charge to make it easier to carry your gear up.
Daphne Will — Google review
If you go during the week, the water has a great visibility. It's easy to spend one hour under water, since you really can see tons of things. I did 3 dives and it's a good place to practice or to enjoy scuba diving.
The staff is friendly and well educated. Please make sure that you get the opening times of the restaurant and the time till when they gave the kitchen open too.
St.-Paulus-Dom is a Romanesque cathedral dating back to the 1200s. The Gothic-style church spans an impressive 108 meters and features intricate details both inside and out. Notably, the cathedral boasts a unique astronomical clock that runs counterclockwise, which is an impressive attraction worth seeing. Additionally, St.-Paulus-Dom houses three organs for music enthusiasts to enjoy.

St. Paul's Cathedral is a 108 metre long structure built over a apan of 40 years in the 1200s. The entire build of this gigantic church is a typical representative of Gothic style. There are three organs here and the Astronomical clock is an attraction worth seeing.

Incredible cathedral. It was damaged during the war and throughout the years. I like how it displays pictures of how it was look like with the damages and how it was restored and rebuilt to today’s shape. Inside the cathedral there are many chapels of which each of them shows different design and decorations. The most beautiful and impressive thing inside the church is the astronomical clock. It’s kept the original form and calendar which was built in 1600’s. It’s amazing to see how complicated the mechanical system was back then.

This church is so wonderful. You see a lot of history and the spirit of the middle age. It is free and you can walk around. What at the clock in the church. It is very special.
Alex Sei — Google review
Very beautiful building.
The only downside is that all the church wealth is inside and people are in the cold and outside begging for food. Maybe cater more to the people around the church than the visitors.

Paulus-Dom is the cathedral church of the Catholic Diocese of Münster in Germany, and is dedicated to St Paul. It is counted among the most significant church buildings in Münster and, along with the City Hall, is one of the symbols of the city. The Astronomical Clock in Church. The Astronomical clock is the very best and very spiciel. Easter is the first sunday after the first moon. we can know the moons phases 6 weeks in advanced. i took photo this clock please see the clock. its wondering.

Dating to 1050, this hilltop castle now serves as a historical museum with a cafe & events.
A wonderful place with many tourist attractions the most important of them is the medieval castle that is kept in an exceptional state. Piece of history with public access. Nice castle with roots dating back to XII century. The castle changed hands several times and was destroyed and rebuilt over the centuries but the location gives the idea of its character. It sits on a large sandstone outcrop which stands out above anything on the horizon with great views. Excellent place to visit with family on the weekend. Plenty of parking at the base.

Walking around in a castle like this gives you a wonderful glimpse into the past. You'll spend 1 or 2 hours here if you're casually strolling through, with many sights worth seeing.
Climbing the main tower is a must for the view.
For those with (small) kids, if they're curious they'll enjoy seeing what this place has to offer, but don't expect a lot of interaction to hold their attention span.
Aasee lake is a popular recreational spot in Munster, offering various activities like boat rentals, walking paths, picnic areas, restaurants and even a zoo & sculpture. Hardly ten minutes on foot from Prinzipalmarkt, Aasee is a 40-hectare man-made lake beginning on cusp of the old town and continuing southwest for over two kilometres.
The lakefront is cushioned by a broad band of inviting parkland, laid with lawns, trees and public art, and travelled by cyclists, joggers and strolling families.
There are restaurants and cafes at regular intervals and a raised terrace in the modern complex on the north shore, where you can also hire a pedal boat for self-navigated trip around the lake.

I'll never travel to Dortmund without this trip planner again
Allwetterzoo Münster is a spacious zoo showcasing an African habitat for zebras and elephants, in addition to offering animal petting and penguin feeding. The exhibit is larger than the local Brooklyn zoo and features impressive spaces for animals. Ongoing construction suggests that the facilities will continue to expand, making it deserving of support for its good work.
Beautiful environment categorized and signboards to guid towards the location of animals you might be interested and also indoor and outdoor view available for animals if you couldn't catch them outside you'll find them hanging around inside, beside there is zoo shop where you can buy t shirts jewelry, toys.. and some burger and ice cream inside the zoo.

We had a brilliant day visiting here! The zoo is clean and tidy. The animals are well looked after and cared for. The staff are super friendly. There's lots of things to see and do. Lots of amazing playparks scattered around the park. We were able to feed the elephants - free of charge! And also the little parakeets. They have a few walk in enclosures, goats and lemurs. The whole day was fantastic! I would highly recommend visiting here! Children of all ages and adults would have a great time!

Münster Zoo is always worth a visit. But saying that it would be even better when the building projects are finished.

Most of the animals seemed really healthy and most enclosures were well kept. Some of the animals were a bit tricky to spot and we found ourselves searching to no avail. A better viewing location could be of use there.
I found the prices to be a bit high, but havent visited a zoo since Covid, so things might be different now.
Other than than the park was clean and suited for people with buggy s or wheelchairs. Had a nice day!

Considering the 4 star ratings I viewed here, I visited Allwetter zoo on August. The tickets charged was high because it didn't reach the expectations. They should keep location marker or provide with a map so that people don't miss any aspects and it guides more efficiently in navigating. Area is very big. Poorly maintained. Animals looked starved, unenergetic, gloomy.
Good thing, even if animals looked unhealthy, we were able to see some lions, tiger, elefant, giraffes, zebras, pandas, which seem to be rare visuals here.
Some reptiles weren't available to view or removed but placards were still posted.
Overall, it's okay to visit but dont keep high expectations.
Annette Raju — Google review
This winter in the early but dark hours of the evening you can visit the zoo - not to watch animals - of those you could only really see pelicans, but to watch great light installations, dipped into an eerie fog.
It was a great experience and took about an hour - with all the photographing and stuff 😉
Obviously you can get food and drinks, cold and hot, at about 7 way points.
If you are in the area, I can recommend the visit, but I wouldn't drive that far, unless you REALLY like light 😅
Alexander Gaus — Google review
I have mixed feelings with this Zoo. On the one hand the animals look physically healthy (maybe not mentally). However my biggest concern is the VERY SMALL space assigned even for Big animals like Rhinos, Elephants, Felines. You can see sadness in their eyes!
Iván — Google review
I really liked this zoo. The parking lot is very big so there's enough space to park your car. Another benefit are the parking- and entrance fee which aren't very high.
The zoo is quiet big and offers hours of fun! They are building something near the entrance which will be done in 2022. I'm very curious and will definitely visit the zoo once this is done.
There are various species of animals in this zoo and especially quiet a few different species of big cats. I love big cats which makes this zoo amazing! Most animals do have a good amount of space, but not all of them. For example the lions. Their habitat isn't the size it should be.
And I think that some animals habitats are a bit doll.
This zoo is also great if you have children. There are a lot of playgrounds where your children can play. There are also enough toilets throughout the whole zoo and a lot of different points where you can buy some food.
I had a great time in this zoo and that is why I would recommend it to others.

Great experience, totally worth the price. Loved how curious are orangutans. Take at least three full hours to go through it at fast pace. It has a lot more animals than what I expected. One can see they care about the animals for they put a lot of toys and activities for them. Crazy how some gorillas look like actual people. Would highly recommend!
Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez — Google review
This zoo is a lot bigger than I expected from the way that some of the locals had talked about it prior to my showing up. Based on the number of big animals here, this exhibit is larger than my local Brooklyn zoo.
I got to witness the majestic elephants eating in a moment that words cannot do justice. I was highly impressed with the spaces for the animals. I didn't even check out the souvenir spot as I was too tired after spending hours here and they have some major construction going on so I'm guessing that the spaces shall be expanding. The good work being done here deserves support!
Former coal mine converted into a family attraction with a butterfly house, green space & play park.
The park is really great. Children have lots of fun here. There is playing options for both smaller and bigger children. The water playgrounds in hot days are a hit!
The butterfly house left us amazed. Very beautiful.
There is events happening for children - all information can be found on their website.

The water park is a top favorite for my son! He absolutely loved it. It’s well equipped and fun. There’s an area with sand and also with hard cover flooring so that’s good. There’s food stands about 5 minutes away from the water park and the walk around the area is absolutely beautiful. All the flowers, butterflies and everything made the day really beautiful.

This place is really cool. Well structured, safe, clean with endless hours of (non-screen time) fun for kids!
The gardens are immaculate, beautiful and well taken care of. They’re complimented by an array of statues that pay homage to the history of the site.
The butterfly enclosure is beautiful and houses numerous species from around the world.

I’ve never seen so many different designs of playgrounds in one park! Both me and my kids enjoyed this park a lot. There’s a little dining area by the lake, you can order Fries and bratwurst and Currywurst there.

Really enjoyed the park with our kids! A lot of different playgrounds and garden themes in an former industrial coal mining area. Clean park and good conditions of playground equipment. Will definitely come back with the family when around.

This is a neat place to visit if you have time and want to see the giant glass elephant, but honestly not worth the time to get over there for much else. It’s a great place for kids as there is a ton for them to do, but not as much for adults.

Very good place if it's not cold and you have children (won't be so interesting for adults)

It's the best park ever! Water playgrounds, amazing number of slides, climbing walls and nets, beautiful gardens - it's the place for the whole family, where a child of every age, parents and grandparents will find something for themselves! Good job!
It's a very well maintained outdoor as well as indoor mall environment. The best part is intermediate places to rest and relax for a break, which most big malls do not have. It's a nice refreshing half day tour !

Very nice and neat picturesque outlet mall in the German village of Ochtrup, near the border with The Netherlands, about 15KM or so from Enschede. It have lost of famous brands like: Nike, Adidas, Puma, and many other brands. There is also a free parking lot
It's open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 20:00 pm

Nice and clean! Plenty of stores and places where you can refresh or get something to eat. There is a lot of brands and the prices are really good. We had a nice day there and will be back soon. The website is really helpful where you can find offers and opening times.

Good outlet like in Austria(Parndorf)
Many shops and good prices, there are still a few missing but it can be seen that it is being developed, I came from 200 km and it was worth the trip 😎😅👍
Drago Drago — Google review
Small shops . The meaning of the outlet isn't justified by the prices and shop size too. Its more of a shopping area with nice environment. Nice decorations though.Felt good to be walking in the village like area. But not worth it for shopping.
Small area But very nice place to visit with friends and family.

Very nice clean place with a lot of shops and brands. But Very tough entry policy for children. We had to wait in the queue outside for 15 minutes in a very cold weather to dot the tests.

Super cute idea for an outlet. Great outdoor and indoor spaces. They provide umbrellas for free when it's raining and it's overall a really great shopping experience. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, it's a great place to be.

Gadani Rushi — Google review
Simply not good enough. They have less than 100 brands in the outlet, place is small with brands having small stores, nothing interesting to the eye, and discounts were not generous. We were in and out in no time. Not worth the visit.

A beautiful place for an outlet and had an opportunity to visit other outlets to for shopping
Sarthak Chaudhari — Google review
This is a very good outlet mall. Things are on discounts but they do have a section of new arrivals too. You can find good stuff but chances are that sometimes you might not get the size that you want especially in shoes. The place is Kid friendly too. A big car parking area is available.
The Ochtrup town is beautiful too which is a bonus if you visit the place.

It was a Saturday and it was very crowded. Some stores have good discounts, but some not so much. There are places to rest and eat, as well as places for children to have fun. It's not very big and it's quick to shop.

I drove 300 km for a specific coat for my terminally ill son. The employee told me that I could come without any problems because there were 10 of that size. Once we arrived there turned out to be nothing. My son cried outside. This concerns the Tommy Hilfiger store. It turned out there was stock, but they didn't want to give it away. 1 star is too much for this store.
Indoor & outdoor water park including slides & aqua-fitness sessions, plus saunas & treatments.
It's always a pleasure to be here! It's very clean, has a beautiful layout and a great atmosphere. It can give great fun for 4-5 hours. The snack restaurant sella very good fries for a fair price- everything else is stunningly expensive though, especially drinks.

Wow! I do not even know what was so special, it is just everything you need for a family swimming pool: warm outside salty pool, waves, children area, slides... Everything is super clean. We've been Sunday afternoon on a sunny day - I would not say it was too crowded. Unfortunately, we can't afford to visit every week, that's why 4 stars.

We went on a Saturday and it was pretty crowed and full with families with kids, and it looks like a awesome place for kids! The sauna place is of course a quiet place. The big 50 meters swimming pool and the warm outside pool were really nice.

It's way better than advertised!! Really didn't expect it to be so cool for such cheap prices. The slides are super fun, the outdoor pool looks magical in winter, and the whirlpools are refreshing. Food is okay, but they even have a picnic area in which you can eat the food you brought on your own. Definitely coming back!!

Wonderful surprise for our long road trip. We needed to freshen up and let the kids roam wild and this was perfect!! Big cooler wave pool indoors, smaller niches with different water pressure features, wonderful salt water pool outdoors with many surprises!! Such as intermittent massage spots, waterfalls, beach chairs built into and generally pleasant decor , and last but not least two big fun toboggans!! The blue is from 8 years up and includes surprising pools within (scary and fun!) and the red one is super fun and fast and furious!! With total darkness towards the end and optional seats to slide on.

This is a Favorite place to visit whenever we are in Hamm. For the grandchildren it is a must. This centre has everything. From the hot and cold plunge pools to the indoor pool with wave machine then onwards to the full size indoor pool with inflatables out during school hols.
The outdoor saltwater pool with the individual water features is fantastic.
Just leave the tube slides for the more adventurous.
Many of the locals stay for longer than the three hour ticket which we normally buy. A slightly more expensive ticket is available to allow for extended stays.
If using this longer stay you may wish to take some food with you or use the poolside cafe. Take a dressing gown and a pair of flip flops as the walking areas do get rather slippy. You can then relax on the many loungers that are available in most areas and you will just blend in with the local visitors..

The place is very well maintained, they have different areas with different pools and activities
One with obstacles, one with 2 water slides one open and one closed, heated pool with waves
Outdoor salt water thermal pool with jacuzzi and water jets which in my opinion the best of them all it's lovely in the evening with lights looks magical
There is changing facilities and showers and they are well cleaned
There is a food court for quick bite and also there is also a cafe before you enter
Kids and adults had a great day there

Koffie, bier, gebak, ijs etc.

A lot of fun to do. The boat sailed every hour when we were there, so the tour takes about an hour. We were able to book a ticket on the spot and board almost immediately. There is catering on board, so there is a lot to buy. Coffee, beer, pastries, ice cream, etc.

A beautiful park open everyday to people who wish to visit. The buildings are beautiful from the outside, but because this is a school and not a Museum, visitors are not allowed to walk in to. A visit during the weekdays means you get to see the future Finance managers & Econimists of Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Although it looks like a castle this is a school for the tax and finance management studies for that province... you get to roam around the outercircle and surrounding of this premises which has a huge park full of sculptures at its back side and a water body surrounding the castle which has ducks in it. You can only get inside if accompanied by a resident of the building otherwise it's a good walk around surrounding.

Nordkirche Castle can be reached in about 35 minutes from Münster by car. There is enough parking space. Nordkirchen Castle is a very large moated castle in the Baroque style, with a beautiful park and waterways. The castle is very popular for weddings and also for excursions. A small part of the interior can be visited with a guided tour. There is also a restaurant with a beautiful terrace.

Visited Schloss Nordkirchen on a Sunday with really good weather. Beautiful English garden (Venus island) with lots of statues. Go for some cake 🍰 and a coffee or a beer 🍻 at the Schloss Café in the courtyard. Afterward go for a long walk (Fledermaus Weg) in the nearby forest 🌳 and end up back at the parking lot 🅿️ where you started off.
Walking trails & feeding sessions of deer, boar & owls, plus adventure playground with rope swings.

In general, it is not bad, but there are minuses that affected the rating:
1) Strollers for children can only be taken by those who remain to stay in this place for a night (they are not given to visitors). 2) Walking is very difficult, especially for children (3 years old), the road is uneven, there are many stones and roots on the road. 3) There was a dead fly in the burger)
Pluses:
1) It is possible to feed animals (sheep, pigs, goats, squirrels)
2) It is possible to observe how a hunter feeds animals.
3) There is a playground with interesting swings.

Awe some. It was nice for me to see deer for the second time this week and ever in my life, and also very close. I am not in for wildlife feeding when food is readily available just to attract tourists.

Reasonably large natural reserve where you can walk through the natural habitat. Routes are well marked. Need good shoes as path is muddy.
Feeding is not allowed for the right reasons.
Animals looks calm and fed well except for the birds in the cages which is not so nice for them eventhough they have underline issues.
Two parking places and if you arrive before 1200 you can park close to the entrance. Free parking.
Hot food and drinks are served. Reasonable prices.
Entrance for adults €5/person Mon - Fri.
€7/person Sat - Sun.

The Christmas market is just wonderful. Every year we return to walk through the beautiful nature, look at wild animals and enjoy great food and mulled wine. This year we had the luck to come by during the first real winter day and be amazed by the snow.

Bit mixed feelings about this place;
Upon entry, there was no one at the register at the entry.
We waited almost 10 minutes to pay our entrance fee, but no one showed up. So in the end we decided to walk along without paying. We could do that afterwards as well.
The park is not like a zoo, where everything is packed together, it is (as the name says) a wildpark, so you have to walk a bit more through the forest and really search for the animals. Which is actually quite nice and fun to do. When you look closely, you will spot the animals.
Upon returning, we liked a drink. Which was fine, but (again) paying our bill for the drinks was troublesome again. Took us several minutes standing at the desk before someone showed up.
Now we passed the entrance again. Still no one there. Waited about 10 minutes again (and nowhere a sign like 'please pay in the restaurant' or something like that)
Staff can be a lot better in noticing customers.
So in the end we had a cheap day

A true moated castle with a fascinating history. Don’t miss the bakery, bring 5€ for a loaf of fresh bread. Inside the castle is a well done display of the history over three levels. The basement is great for kids - and there is a projected map display that is a must to see. The second level has the history of the castle with some interesting stories one including a iron collar that was fixed to the owner. They do a great job telling the story. Make sure to check out the bed display as well. Everything is in German and English and very well done.

Beautiful ancient castle (Wasserschloss) with a moat and a drawbridge, and a colorful Westfalian history. Great museum inside which has info on all the local castles and learning rooms, old weapons and coins and furniture. Really well preserved castle. A great example of the local type. Also very accessible for wheelchairs, they installed a lot of access devices. Bakery attached, a small cafe, and an art exhibit in the outer courtyard.

Modern, all-weather water park with exciting rides, plus a spa & wellness center with themed saunas.
Payment is possible only by card. I was with my daughter for 3 years, I was on Tuesday. We went in at 11:30 and had to stand in line for 15 minutes. At the entrance, children were given frozen juice. Although the queue for the slides looks long, it moves quickly (up to 10 minutes). In the queue for the slides, on the steps, on the 1st and 2nd floors, the air conditioner works too hard, so it is a bit cool, above the 2nd floor the temperature is comfortable. There is an ambulance station. There is an opportunity to place your own mat in the shade on the street. At lunch time there is a very long queue for food. You can take something to eat/drink with you. There is a lifeguard who keeps order in the main hall. There are not many slides for children 3-5 years old. Or for those who are younger or who are already older. In general, my 3-year-old daughter and I were very satisfied and did not regret visiting this place. I liked the green slide on the last floor the most. There are no showers for one person. Only common.

Went to Aquamagis Thursday the 21st. It was okay. Booking had to be done a few days beforehand, because it was quickly sold out. Parking was full, because a section was being used for Covid testing, so we had to park on the grass.
In my opinion, they could have fixed a cap on visitors, but they just maxed it. With Covid not that great a feeling. We expected a lower amount of people keeping the 'sold out' part in mind, but it was packed. Lockers were thus hard to find. A lot of broken ones. Long lines to get in AND out because they use a credit type of system for food and drinks. (Can not grasp this at all. You have to stand in line, order at the counter and swipe your 'locker watch' anyway, so swiping your card or cash payment is not a big of a deal. The lockers are close by...)
Expected a bigger wave section, but that was quite small. There were two good normal pools to swim laps and a lot of various slides. A lot of fun when you have teenage kids. But again, long lines and they have a very small cramped stairway for the 5 big slides.
Our son of 5 had a great time too, but there could have been more for his age group. 3 great small slides in a corner and a shipwreck section. He played at the baby sections as well, but was quickly bored.
Food and drinks were actually good and for the price ok.
And this part is important: The water temperature in most of the areas is lower than what we are used to! The baby and toddler sections are actually unusually warm and we used those to warm up. We assumed tropical, but it is not for dutch standards.
Okay experience overall, but would not go again in the foreseeable future.

Remarkable slides with different profiles. 11 and at least 3 that i have never seen before. Absolutely worth a visit but then the problems start: logistic chaos to get to the slides. Longer waiting time than needed due to bad access. Easy to change. Chaos at the entry at peak times both mornings and afternoons. The overnight accomodation attached are great but administration needs to be improved.

Paid for two adults and 4 children 90€ which was a bit reduced,We where 10 mins after opening there and due to COVID had to wait another 30 mins before getting in... Not enough staff , The pools and slides are great fun for everyone so that's why I gave 3 stars ... apart from that a bit overcrowded ... I don't think I will return ... Everyone has a different opinion on things like this so I would say go and try it out and see for yourself.

Lack of sun loungers, seating areas, ended up in a plastic chair by a swimming pool. Only one slide which my six year old granddaughter could use but she was still charged almost the adult price (about three 💶 less). Outside spa area is so small it's similar to a large Jacuzzi, other facilities are extremely disappointing. Three adults and one minor cost us 96 Euros.
All in all an expensive, below-par recreational establishment which cannot be recommended.

A Day Full of Fun at Ketteler Hof GmbH
Our recent visit to Ketteler Hof GmbH was nothing short of fantastic! This amusement park is a paradise for families and friends looking for a day filled with excitement and enjoyment.
From the moment we entered the park, we were greeted by a variety of attractions suitable for all age groups. The park is beautifully laid out, making it easy to navigate through the different zones, each packed with unique activities and rides.
For kids, the park offers a magical experience with numerous playful areas, imaginative rides, and interactive games that are both safe and thrilling. Adults aren't left out either. There are adventurous rides that amp up the adrenaline alongside more relaxed options for those who prefer a laid-back day.
One of the highlights of our visit was the grill area. It's a perfect spot for a family picnic or a friendly gathering. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and it provided a lovely break between the excitement of the rides and activities.
The staff at Ketteler Hof GmbH deserves a special mention too. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that our visit was smooth and enjoyable. The park was clean, well organized, and felt very safe, which added to our peace of mind as we let the kids explore freely.
Whether you're a thrill-seeker or just looking to spend some quality time with loved ones, Ketteler Hof GmbH offers a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. We left with great memories and look forward to our next visit!

The German Football Museum is an impressive institution showcasing the rich history of soccer in Germany through exhibits and multimedia installations. It caters to both football enthusiasts and families with spaces for kids to play. The museum presents interesting facts about the sport's history, including that of German football. While some may find the admission fee high, it covers all access, making it worth a visit. The friendly staff also adds to the overall experience.
The museum is amazing. If you’re a football fan (or a kid 😁), there is sooo much to see! There are also spaces where kids can play. So many interesting facts about the history of football and of German football. The fee is a bit high. I know that it includes everything, but maybe the fee could be lower just for visiting and people who want extra access to stuff could pay more.
Anyway, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Being one of those who live football, this was so exciting, that I had to restrain myself from shouting ( in a good way) and jumping like a child. So detailed, so many artifacts, photos, and the historical videos were just so thrilling. and the 3-D show was just Wow.
I could go on and on, but will let you guys enjoy the real spine chilling experience. Personally, I Couldn't get enough, but will definitely visit again. And recommend to not just a football fan, but anyone who understands the significance of what a museum should be that honours legacy and it's legends.

Excellent museum next to the central train station in Dortmund. 19 euros ticket for an adult. Children, students etc. cheaper. Focussing on the international and domestic achievements of German football teams, this modern museum combines film and multimedia with traditional info boards (in German and English), and real momentos and original pieces behind glass. Fun items too such as Helmut Schön's cap and a tribute to Paul the Octopus (who was born at Sealife in my hometown of Weymouth, England). I am 61 years old, and I remember many of the German players and football triumphs, so for me it was worth visiting. I would recommend to any football fan who also enjoys history and museums. I was in the museum for 3 hours, but I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to catch a train. There is plenty to see and do. There is also a film and tour.

As someone with no real interest in football, I found myself spending hours here. It was interesting all the way through and you get a real sense of the passion involved.
There is a floor dedicated to the history of the German team, accomplishments and highlights over the years and another for the Bundesliga and some interactive pieces at the end.
If I recall, all content was in German and English.

Great museum, specially for those interested in the German National team. Nice memorabilia and texts also available in English. The 3D ride is just a joke, but not to the point of hurtimg the muse as a whole. Interesting stuff on the museum store.

Probably, the biggest football museum in Germany, nice to visit if you were in Dortmund or transit( very close of the train station ). You can discover history of the sport in the country through it’s history: world wars, division of country, the era after reunification.
Interactive and comprehensive, it can takes few hours to carefully visit it. For me it deservs if you are a football fan.

Detailed and engaging history of German football. Great way to spend two or three hours - countless old shirts to look at, trophies to take photos with, and so much to learn.

Super cool exhibits explaining the history of German football. I myself am not specifically a fan of the German national team but I really enjoyed the time I spent here. Cool artifacts and great descriptions, could spend about 3 hours here and it’s right across from the main train station so a great place to kill time before catching a train. Student discount is amazing, almost 50% off of the ticket price.

Great experience and stunning stuff to see. Fantastic animations and a pretty cool 3D movie to watch.
Staffing was very friendly and supportive.
There was no wait at all during the week in December. Would highly recommend for true soccer fans especially 2014 mold cup is a big theme for this museum.
Ticket prices are ok.

Excellent place for anyone interested in football. There is a good mix of interactive media, reading about exhibits, items to see and stories to learn.
Very captivating thematic parts of the museum from important matches in German football all the way to recent times (including also women squads), great job 👍
I personally really enjoyed the West vs East Germany section and part that football played during war times, but they definitely have also easier to digest areas and kid routes.
You can spend between half a day to full day here depending on how thorough you want to be.
Recommend buying tickets online as they are a bit cheaper than buying on-site.

I loved the football museum - particularly also the section on the old GDR and how doctrine linked to training. I was totally mesmerized and forgot time. I take the point they could have consulted fans more - e.g. relatively little on the current leagues, on European tournaments

Westfalenpark is a vast and spacious park that boasts of a rosarium, mini train, observation deck with a café, and outdoor event spaces. The park is surrounded by trees which provide shade and create a relaxing ambiance for visitors. It's home to ducks and birds who roam freely around the area. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, mass gatherings were prohibited but now visitors can spend quality time with their friends and family at the park.
A park with wide space and trees. You can not imagine how pleasant you will feel if you visit the place. I have visited twice this place and I loved the place. You can walk around, have relaxation in the sitting chair. There are ducks and birds freely roaming around. Due to COVID-19 mass gatherings were not permitted, but now it's no longer applicable. So you guys can spend some quality time with your family and friends there. You just have to pay a very little amount of entry fee for tickets. But you cannot go in and out several times with the same ticket. Only one entry and exit is possible. There are wide space for parking too.

This park is one of the most beautiful parks which i have visited so far in Germany. Specially it is beautiful during the spring because of flowers and green nature 😍. It has fee for entrance and you have to pay 3.5 to visit it but it really worth because the park is so huge and fantastic. Wben you go there be ready to take a lot of photos from yourself because that could be really cool for your instagram profile photo 😉. It has many entrances and exits but i recommend to enter the main entrance because it is near Ubahn. For reaching the park you can simply take one Ubahn from Dortmund Hbf and reach the park after around 5 stations. There is a tower in the park which is so high and you can pay more 2 Euros and go to the top of it by elevator. Also there are some restaurants and cafe in the park which you can eat or have coffe or snack as well as food there. I don't recommend to go there alone because you need someone to take photo from you 😉

An amazing place to spend time with someone. The plants are beautiful. You do have to pay for the train and cable car, but besides that, the park is large. You can buy a combination ticket to go the tower, and the views are also gorgeous.

Beautiful park. Worth seeing in every weather condition. I guess in summer must be the best. But even now in winter we had a beautiful walk with my doggie❤️🦮. Cost 2€ the entry. What I do not understand is that you need to be vaccinated to enter even though all restaurants are closed during the winter🤷♀️🤦♀️.
Misscheca — Google review
Pretty nice but overrated park on the outskirts of Dortmund. It costs €3.50 to enter and you can't even get on top of Florian Turm. There aren't a lot of sights inside of the park apart from a lake and the Japanese garden which is cool. I haven't seen such garden. However, everything else is just normal and you will find it in every public park. Also, all restaurants and shops are closed. However, there are many different kinds of trees and flowers, it is really calm and there are a lot of attractions for kids.

I recently visited Westfalen Park in February and was impressed by its vast green space and numerous children's play areas. Although the railway and boats were closed during the winter season, it remained a fantastic park for children to explore and enjoy. Additionally, the park offers great opportunities for jogging and staying active.

Ticket price for an adult:
3.5 euros (just walk in the park)
5.5 euros (+ climb the tower).
There is a real train on the territory. The duration of the route is about 15 minutes. Ticket price for an adult is 5 euros, for children under 4 years - free. There are toilets, cafes, playgrounds. There is no alcohol in the cafe.

Although I'd rebel against a tax for entering a PARK, i must say it's worth it. WC with hot water, a lot of light installations, two subway/u-bahn stations in close proximity, a lot of wildlife, different gardens and overall a calm and beautiful place, not ruined by night gangs of teens.

It's very easy to spend a day here. Except from various botanical plants you can enjoy the cable car or take a tour with a small train around the park. There are also cafes and restaurants inside.

A great park to walk around, especially with kids. The entrance fee is 3,5€. Although this is a botanical garden full with many types of roses, the flowers haven't bloomed yet. That was a shame.
The Florianturm is a 720-ft. tall telecommunications tower that provides stunning panoramic views of Dortmund from two observation decks. Unfortunately, only one elevator is currently operational and the café on the upper floors has been closed for several years. Additionally, the binoculars placed there are broken and do not offer any view despite coins being thrown into them.
It's a pretty big amusement park with lots of activities, you should also use the "small" train because you can see how big the park is and get off at different stations. You should definitely drive Florian Tower,

The Florianturn is situated in a large park with costs €4 to enter per person. If you want to go up to the top of the TV tower it costs €3 per person but we'll worth it for the views all around Dortmund. Once you are in the park there are lovely long walks, great place to take the kids for a day out as there are a few play area,s dotted around, or even for picnic, the beautifully kept gardens are lovely to see. There is also a small train that will take you all around the garden, also the have a cable car if you would prefer take you across it, not sure what they charge for them as we didn't use them. There is also a lovely restaurant to stop of for a lovely lunch, the prices are reasonable. Easy access to all toilet areas for those who have a disability.
Free-ranging animals in a serene leafy park, including many deer, plus a large playground.
A wonderful animal park with many types of deer. Nice woodland trail, children's play zone and plenty of picnic spots. Feeding the deer is the highlight. Great way to spend a few hours.

We visited on a sunny spring day, late in the afternoon, with kids.
The place was crowded but we were lucky to find parking, there is a parking lot in front of the entrance which is typically crowded on a sunny day.
We bought the food for animals from the counter at the entrance, which costs 1Eur. There is a big jumping trampoline at the entrance, for kids to jump around.
The place as such is big and aomeof the animals like deers, sheep and goats are left free, so that people can feed them.
As the animals are well fed they are mostly not interested in your offering 🙂.
There are some caged animals as well but not many as in zoo.
Overall it's a nice place to spend a sunny afternoon with kids.
Note that there is a coffee shop at the entrance, inside there is nothing else so it would be wise to carry some food.

This is certainly a jewel in this area, and a bit of the beaten track. Nevertheless, it's a popular place at it offers a very unique experience for young and old. The biggest attraction is the grand opening area that allows visitors to walk among deer, with some do used to humans that they willingly feed from your hands the corn kernels the gift shop offers. Bring plenty for your nature hike, the cost for the boxes isn't prohibitively high. The rest of the park is also a worthwhile experience. The kids playground is fun and you can be certain that they fall to bed that night happy and exhausted.

This is a treasure to have around! A place to go with kids, family, friends or even solo.
It is a lovely walk in the nature where some animals wander around. You can buy food aka corn to feed the animals like boars, ostriches, deer, lamas, goats, etc. Others you can check from a distance like wolves, kangaroos, parrots, etc.
The entrance fee is acceptable, and one can have a yearly pass too.
There is a free parking spot, but on weekends it is very crowded and might be a challenge to find a spot.
Overall a highly recommended place to go if you love nature walks and animals.

Incredible atmosphere! For my first time at a German football match, I couldn’t have imagined how good the atmosphere is. Stadium is super tall, which adds to the feel of the place, plus deafening chants from the ultras. Could not recommend visiting more, and I would defiantly pay to go again. Beer is also not a rare sight, which adds even more to the enjoyment of the match.

The greatest atmosphere I’ve seen so far on oa football staidum. It has 81365 seats and it’s always full. Not only that, but the whole stadium is singing for the entire duration of the game. It’s a must see if you are a football passionate.

This is the best football ground for atmosphere in Western Europe. Although there are better grounds in terms of facilities or more modern ones for comfort, none of them can beat Signal Iduna Park. Fans are fantastic throughout the whole match, beer is amazing, getting to the ground is easy by trams, can get packed going out but still you will be out in a matter of minutes. The official store at the ground is massive. All being said, you must visit! There are plenty of fans coming from the nearby countries also.

Best stadium in the world. Nothing as good as standing in the Südtrubüne/Yellow Wall.

One of the most beautiful castles I've ever been to and is a very practical castle meant for practical purposes. Location is super easy bus and lift from center city, both good but you see a lot by bus. See their kitchen, how towers are made livable. Has a very nice restaurant with good assortment of food. super nice staff always smiling at you and guiding. Though from 1430 to 1730 kitchen is closed. The Rundweg around the castle has excellent views esp just at the gate. It felt a worthy place to spend a lot of time as was super peaceful. If they would dress all the staff in clothes from the time castle was built this would be perfect. This is one place that i would call super managed perfectly.nit is a must go place.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the German Mine Museum in Bochum, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported back in time to the heyday of mining in the region.
The museum is incredibly well-curated, with informative exhibits that cover everything from the evolution of mining technology to the daily lives of miners.
Throughout the museum, there are interactive displays, multimedia presentations, and fascinating artifacts that bring the history of mining to life. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the effort that went into preserving this important part of our industrial heritage.
The staff at the museum were friendly and knowledgeable, and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had. Plus, the onsite facilities, including a gift shop and cafe, made it easy to spend the whole day exploring.
Overall, I can't recommend the German Mine Museum enough. Whether you're a history buff, a science enthusiast, or just looking for a unique experience, this museum has something for everyone. It's a true gem in the heart of Bochum.

Ticket entry is €10. They will take you in subterranean mins with a lift. You can walk across underground mines to see mining equipments for drilling, locomotive, cycles, safety, lamps, etc. It is a different world. Bochum used to mine 310 million year old hard coal. On ground floor you can go through exhibits which show history, political, social, migrants, art, key personalities, equipments associated with Rhine-westphalan / Ruhr area collieries. First floor have mining exhibits other than coal - oil, gold, silver, other minerals, salt, precious stones, etc. History of mining from antiquity till recent. Must see if you are in the area!

Today we went to the museum for the second time and it’s just great. Besides all the underground mining shafts with large machinery and spectacular views from the tower top, there is also a very interesting and informative museum area about the history and future of mining from the Stone Age to today. There is also lots of hands on stuff for kids to do and try out. I’d recommend lots of time, as there is so much to see. I’d also suggest giving the snack area a try, as they have pretty original food for the location, which also tastes well and is priced reasonably. Full recommendation. 👌🏿👌🏿

Below the museum, you walk around in 1-2 km of very authentic mine galleries filled with all sorts of equipment. I was absolutely convinced that they were real and astounded to find out that it was all artificial.
Information both in German and English. Some in writing and some audio info points.
On the top there is a panorama view of the surrounding areas.
Inside there is more equipment, videos, old photos and information, in more traditional style.

Incredible much to see. If you're at least a little bit interested in the topic of mining, I advise to book atleast one afternoon for this place.
The staff is also very friendly and answer every, even the so called stupid question you might have.
Amazing experience, we enjoyed a lot the XX-Xtrem tour. Alesia and Fabian were our guides, they explained everything very clear and made everything easy for us

Great place to go! We did the 'Erlebnistour' für Kids ages 8 years and above. It was really really great. adventurous, strenuous and fun! I've been to many caves but this tour really gives you a feeling how it must be to discover caves.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

Don't take the standart tour. It's like 5 min walking and 40 min standing and listening to the tour guide. Book the longer or adventurous tours.
