Omiš, a charming town and port in the Dalmatia region of Croatia, is situated about 25 kilometers southeast of Split. It's where the Cetina River converges with the Adriatic Sea, offering breathtaking natural scenery. One of the must-do activities here is embarking on an exhilarating river rafting experience along the Cetina River. This adventure spans 7.
Dramatic views are offered from this fast zip line ride that runs high above a canyon with a river.
The highlight of my trip to Croatia!! Absolutely great experience, wonderful guides and very flexible customer service. Safe, fun, and magnificent views above the Cetina river and the canyon. The whole experience took 2 hours during the off season :)

Phenomenal experience, gorgeous views, lovely guides. Highly recommend, felt safe the whole time and it was so fun, tiny bit of hiking (8 minutes) which is a lot in the heat but it's not really difficult and they even give you a break, came from Split on the 60 bus and reserved online direct, cheaper than going through an excursion shop! Probably my favourite thing I've ever done!
Orlaith McMahon — Google review
Me and my partner visited the place in the begging of September.
Didn't have to wait for long but even if you will have to - it is worth waiting!
We were in group of 8 and it was great!
Super guide guys ( sorry I do not remember your names) , but you were fantastic help and we felt safe and cared.
There is eight steps of zip line and belive me - all of them are great and with a amazing views.
We did not know what to expect so our fun was unbelievable amazing! After first line you will understand how cool is that and - please enjoy the views even if you are scared. I was z little because of everything :P
Full fun takes around 3.5 hours with way up and back.
We started at 13:00 in a very hot day so take a lot of water. Most of times you will be in shadows but still, all emotions make it more intense.
Higly recommend for almost everybody.
If you are not afraid of highs - do it!

The most exciting way to take in beautiful views! The guides were very fun, patient and great at explaining the ropes 😉

Amazing amazing amazing experience! I was so pleasantly surprised that they ran a tour for just two of us. Shout out to Leo and Spiro! They were wonderful and professional, and made the experience so fun! 10/10 recommend this company for ziplining!
Kayla U. — Google review
Excellent experience, well worth the money and the guides were lovely. There was a short walk to get to the first zipline, nothing too taxing (two over 60s managed it fine in our group). Then the 8 ziplines were lots of fun. Fully recommended.
Daniel Russell — Google review
Really nice experience. We went thru all 8 ziplines from almost top of mountain. Guides very really professional and helped with gear and every. Not a scary "ride".
Ilari Vallisaari — Google review
Is definitely worth the money. Beautiful views, 8 ziplines, and the longest is 800 meters long. The guides are super nice and helpful. If you don't dare to do it alone, you can go down with a guide. But they explain it so well, so off you go on the zipline and enjoy the beautiful view and the ride. The tour lasts about two and a half hours.
You will not regret it!
Lala — Google review
The zipline was an absolutely fantastic experience for my entire family. It was well-organized, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the beginning to the end.
Kevin Kelly — Google review
The team was great: here for you, funny and reassuring. I definitely would recommend it!
Lohann Kerviche — Google review
Great experience to do, the views are fantastic. I personally found it a bit fiddly (braking / going faster) but the staff were really friendly and helpful - they can take you down in tandem if you are struggling. It was a great activity to do
victoria ball — Google review
Great experience - 3 hours in total, breathtaking rides, uncredible mountains so close to the sea. The crew and orientation, and the ride itself - very professional, well organized, and gives you a sense of security in the experience.
Arek Maciejowski — Google review
It's hard to describe the feeling of going down 65 kph over the valleys. It's like flying but in a very safe and controlled enviroment. It's just amazing! Our guides were very friendly and helpful. Thank you Ivan and Nikola!
100% recommend if you visit the beautiful Omiš!
Ákos Szabó — Google review
We had a great time on this course of 8 ziplines. The scenery was amazing, and the staff took a safety-first approach towards everything. They were also very flexible about rescheduling around incoming bad weather. This is the best way to experience the canyon.
Chris Hall — Google review
Great experience, safe, simple, professional. Nice tour operators who will make sure that you are having a great time and everything will be in order. They take you up to the canyon og Cetina and you are going all the way down the cables. There are 8 unique cables with different lenght. Price is reasonable abd experience unforgettable. Good deal yo recommend.
Kamil Grzondziel — Google review
Worth it? Yes. Super chill guides and you get to do a test run before the real thing. It's an amazing feeling flying over the beautiful views, the speed I got recorded was 71.2km/h with a gps watch👌🏻👌🏻

Mirabela Fortress (Peovica)
Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Mirabela Fortress (Peovica) is a hilltop fortress in Omis, offering stunning views of the sea and the old town. The climb to the top is not too challenging, with some steps and a metal ladder at the end. Despite an entrance fee of around 3-5 euros, visitors find it worth it for the breathtaking panoramic views. The fortress has played a significant defense role throughout history and is a must-visit attraction in Omis.
There’s entrance fee. But the view worth the price. Would recommend the fortica if you have the stamina to hike a little bit.
Raf — Google review
Nestled away from the bustling tourist routes, Mirabela Fortress, also known as Peovica, is a true hidden gem for those seeking a unique climbing experience coupled with awe-inspiring vistas. This lesser-known destination promises an escape from the crowds, offering solitude and tranquility amidst nature's grandeur.
Zongle — Google review
I highly recommending to visit this place. Wonderful views in all directions. Be prepared for many stairs and final ladder 🪜 not for the faint hearted! The admission fee was 30 Kuna, by the time I visited there 🎫🎟️
Lubo? Kv?t — Google review
even though you pay 5 euros to enter, it's really worth it. the ascent on the tower is good at first, but there is a steep ladder to get to the top. beautiful views, especially at night. I recommend to everyone. you cannot miss this attraction while in Omiš!
amelka kondraciuk — Google review
Magical fortress on the rocks high above city Omiš. From the top of tower view is spectacular! To reach top of tower you have to climb ladder - can be hard for children. Nice place to watch sunset.
?an Koren — Google review
Tower entrance €5 per person. Beautiful views of Omiš and the Adriatic Sea. Last ascent via a metal ladder. Well worth it.
M. B. — Google review
Nice place to visit and get a look at city from the top. It is not complicated to get there, not so many steps, I would say this is light version of hiking. But in result, when you get to the top, on the roof of fortress, you get the best view point in the city. This is small city, so you should visit this fortress for sure. If I remember right, entrance fee is 3 euro, so it is not about the money. There are some benches also under the trees, so you can take a seat and enjoy beautiful panorama of a city.
Igors Jancenko — Google review
High up the mountain, over the town of Omiš, there is this amazing fortress that played an important defense role throughout the history.
The climb is a bit steep, but super safe.
There was a lot of people and we had to wait in line for a while, but it was worth it.
We were lucky enough to also have a historical guide, who told us all about ancient times.
Petra Drašković — Google review
Fantastic view point for the city and sea.
There is a lot of steps to the top and in the end you will find metal ladder but totally worth of climbing!
We were in the begging of September and when we came to the top, we were alone for 10 minutes.
In the begging there is a easy seating point with benches and trees.
Don't really remember how much we paid but few euros for person for that beautiful view.
Małgorzata Kowal — Google review
We took the Hard path which starts just before the tunnel to the left of some houses. 45min walk/ scramble rewarded with amazing views from the top tower. Returned down the easy path to save leg strain. All in all about a 2 hour journey.
Hedley Williams — Google review
Small, but interesting fortress with good view and unforgettable climbing.
Ольга Ивченко — Google review
This is an amazing thing to do when in Omis, Croatia. It only cost €3 each and was well worth it.
It's a bit steep and tight in places but stick with it. The views are breathtaking!
Perched on a hill, the Starigrad Fortress is a 15th-century ruin that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Omis. The fortress was strategically built by the skilled sailors of Omis to control ships sailing on the Adriatic Sea. Visitors can hike up steep trails to reach this historical site and enjoy sweeping vistas from its vantage point.
Nice cute beach! I took a dirt road because google advised me to do so. It was a rocky road so would not recommend it if you don’t have a four-wheel drive. Apparently there is also a normal road going there so that one I took to go back up. Parking is 30 kn and a wooden beach bed is 100kn per two beds. I was alone so paid half. You can’t order drinks at the beach but you can buy it at the restaurants/bars 10 meters from the beach and drink it from your beach bed. Would like to go back here.
Carlotta Westra van Holthe — Google review
Use roadsigns not navigation to get to the beach, navigation is longer and the road is mostly gravel. Parking is paid, and so are the deck chairs. There is a bar above the beach. The shower is not available on the beach. Other than that the beach itself is a pure gem.
Mirko Gabelica — Google review
We were here in mid May and it was still blissfully quiet, not yet inundated by tourists. The water was blue and crystal clear, and while it took a couple of minutes to adjust, the temperature was not too cold. It’s a lovely beach composed of rocks, pebbles, and sand.
Marsha Russell — Google review
Beautiful beach 🏖️, you have to drive about 5 km down the hill but it worth it. Parking 🅿️ is charged 30 kuna per day. We also eat in konoba Mijo on the beach, good value for money, highly recommended to visit this beach
Mario Ulamec — Google review
Great beach! 2 cafes/bars. Not too busy.
Parking costs 30-50 khuna
Amazing for snorkelling!
Peter Moon — Google review
The place was amazing, one of the better pebble beaches I've been to. Pristine! Be care driving down as the road only fits one car. Don't drive fast!
John Topler — Google review
Beautiful beach, fantastic personnel and relatively realistic prices, you'd be able to drink twice as much compared to other tourist destinations, especially Croatian islands which love to overprice anything there is to sell.
Only downsides would be road quality, which is quite shabby, and parking isn't the best but considering the prices it is not to be complained about.
9/10 experience, will definitely visit again!
Plague — Google review
Beautiful and spacious beach. The views are stunning here. Way above the beach where the main road is you can see monumental rocky hills so be careful as you descend steeply down to this beach. The sea is clear but deep. Beach suitable for swimmers and kids also. Not a lot of natural shade.
marcoolinho — Google review
Instagram beach, absolutely beautiful but when you get close it's not all that.
Too much Trash; plastic bottles, plastic bags, cigarette butts, styrofoam, the water is not clear and there is small plastics in the water.
Parking they've just slapped on 30kn into the sign and collect cash only at the entrance, park before the sign and walk down for free. Cash only at the bar too
Don't turn where Google says, it's a gravel road, turn at the sign "pupnatska Luka" it's paved
Laz D — Google review
Awesome beach with restaurant, local cheese and meat. Beach is covered by small rocks, water is coloured into light blue. Really amazing.
Ale? Vyka — Google review
Beautiful and clean beach, easily accessible. Parking 5-7eur, sunbeds 19-20eur.
Lejla Colakovic — Google review
Beautiful beach, large pebbles. The road to the beach is a bit rough, but recommended if you have a car.
Nrusinha Mahapatra — Google review
Pupnatska Luka on the island of Korčula is a true hidden gem of the Adriatic. In this idyllic bay, nature is encountered in its purest form: a beautiful beach surrounded by crystal clear and transparent waters stretching all the way to the horizon. For those seeking respite from the summer heat, the forest on the side offers shade and a peaceful nook to relax with the sound of waves. What makes this beach special is its tranquility and serenity, far from the city hustle. It's also ideal for families with children, where they can enjoy a safe and friendly environment. If you're visiting Korčula, Pupnatska Luka is a destination you shouldn't miss. Highly recommended!
Kris Basic — Google review
Large beach that gets very crowded. A lot of umbrellas for a price of 19 and 25 euros.
Above the beach, there are a couple of nice restaurants offering food and drinks.
The beach is both pebble stone and sand.
Semir Omerovic — Google review
Clean sea, amazing view and so nice round pebbles.
Has some shade on their corners of the beach.
Parking is charged by the day and beach deck chairs also (24h from payment), konoba and restaurant is there so you don't have to bring your own food.
I could stay there for days how nice and calm it is. Lots of people come after 12h so it is more busy in the afternoon than in the morning.
Andrea Ticic — Google review
This beach is such a special find! We took our hired moped down here. 18€ for sun beds but equally as nice to sit on the beach!
Lizzie Perrin — Google review
One of the crowded beaches on Korcula, however still worth visiting at least once as it is beautiful and the water is clean. You can grab a chilled drink from the local bar and have some food as well. The only minus is the cleanliness of the surrounding areas, guess this comes from the eastern european culture leaving a mess anywhere possible so it is a task for local authorities not only collect money for parking but start collecting some fines from people leaving s... behind.
Tibor “t.b.” Lak. — Google review
Perfect beach with facilities in a beautiful bay surrounded with pine forest.. When in main season recommend to start early as obviously gets crowded. 2 sunbeds with ubmrella for 25 eur a day seems fair price for me.. From 1st september price dropped to 20e. What a place to relax!
Known for its scenery, this pebble beach with pine trees & clear water draws many visitors.
Amazing beach with natural tree shadow. Make sure to arrive before 10, since the good spots are quickly occupied. Its great for snorkeling. The parking is too expensive, in my opinion, but you can park above if you arrive earlier.
Aleksandar Rusev — Google review
Stunning beach and a must visit.
Beautiful seaside walking path that leads to several other gorgeous spots.
Russ Lacuata — Google review
Probably, if I had a tent or a sleeping bag, I would stay here overnight. To fall asleep and wake up to the music of the waves. This is an insanely romantic place) While I was taking photos and videos, couples in love did not want to leave these cozy caves by the water, and continued to admire the sunset, despite the coming autumn chill. Residents of Brela, you are incredibly lucky with your wonderful beach, take care of it)
Olga Gertc — Google review
Very nice beach but a bit too crowded for me. More beautiful at night when it's empty.
Per Alsterdal — Google review
Lots of natural shade. Beach is very accessible and well maintained.
You got a parking that leads you to the beach, you can pay by day or by hour.
We have spent a day there and we had a wonderful time.
It is a standard gravel beach, i suggest wearing water shoes.
Mario Petrovic — Google review
The beach is spectacular and really-really beautiful. Its a nice pebble beach, the water deepens fast. Good place for snoorkering, near the famous rock there are lot of fish to see. If you are not staying here prepare to come early and pay a lot for parking (if you manage to find one) We’ve arrived at 9am and found probably one of the last parking spaces. Parking price in the bottom-near the beach is 20kn/hour, we stayed 9 hours and payed 180kn. No max price, pretty expensive. There is a parking lot a bit more up, there you can park for 100kn/day. Its around 4-5 mins extra walk, if we would visit again I would definitely park there. Other then that the place is superb! Also if you come early you can secure a great spot, it’ll get crowded around 10-11am. There are 3-4 places to eat, so thats pretty good. Also you can rent a jetski/sup if you would like.
Bal?zs Orb?n — Google review
This beach is easily one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Water is very clean. Good for snorkeling.
Misz00r — Google review
Amazing beach on Markaska Riviera. Water was crystal clear, very blue and very clean.
Alexandra Dumitru — Google review
1 star down for overcrowded beaches (main season) and -1 star because of cleanlyness. Someone should keep an eye over litter bins and "uneducated" tourists.
Otherwise this is a beautiful place for holiday, nice local people.
Fully recomended for families with children.
Prices and services are average...
Tomáš Kupčo — Google review
Wonderful beach with pretty colour.
Worth to visit here and enjoy sunbathing&swimming.
Need to be careful to occupy place because it’s definitely full.
Jay L — Google review
Famous beach in HR. Could be overcrowded and it may be hard to find parking place if you arrive late at the day. 08.2022 -we payd 130 HRK for all day parking, but the you don't need to pay for an umbrella, because the trees are close to the beach and you could stay below them.
Varko — Google review
Amazing beach! 1hr drive from Split in a road with beautiful landscapes. The beach offers all facilities and well organised: pedestrian path along the beach, parking, hotels, toilets, cafes, playgrounds. The views are stunning and the water so clear. Photos don’t make it justice 🙌🏻
Pedro Sá Moreira — Google review
Before you go make sure you have beach shoes as this is not a sandy beach. The water was clear and very clean, and there are also a lot of shady pleace where you can hide from the hot sun.
Tibi N — Google review
THIS is a proper Dalmatian beach, as they once were, before folks started tearing down the trees and clearing them out. Full of pine trees, the smell is fantastic, the beach is gorgeous, with pebbles and clear water. I wish all beaches in Croatia were like this one. Kudos to the local community for keeping it as such!
Historic city harbor & busy port with a rugged backdrop on a peninsula known for grain & salt trade.
I love walking in the harbor, looking at the boats and sea. And this place fulfilled it. The harbor is clean and sometimes full of people on the promenade.

The Korcula Town Museum is a small 16th-century Renaissance palace which showcases exhibits on the history and culture of Korcula. The museum features an impressive collection of amphoras, photographs from the 1930s and 1950s, and other historical artifacts that have been arranged in chronological order. Visitors can explore the rich history of Korcula for a modest entrance fee of only 20kn.
Really good and modern museum occupying 5 floors. EUR6 entrance fee. The basement has the oldest pieces, and it gets more modern history as you climb up. Also a good toilet in the basement, which is handy! I particularly liked the helmet from the 5th or 6th century BC.
Ross Gerring — Google review
Had a visit to the museum guided by Vicko. Wonderful museum, even better storyteller. His English was impeccable and his knowledge of everything Korčula unsurpassed.
ivana f — Google review
Decent city museum! I definitely liked the amphoras (+music background) and photos from 1930's and 1950's. Someone put quite and effort to arrange the exhibition in chronological and well-arranged order.
Dalia Krawczyk — Google review
Korcula Town Museum is located across the St. Marc Cathedral. The Museum is housed in Gabrieli's palace, built in the 15th and 16th centuries but newly renovated. It consists of 4 floors and shows how life on the island looked before.
I would definitely recommend this place so you can understand the history of Korcula better. My favorite parts of the museum are the 3rd and 4th floor but the other two floors are no less attractive.
Tanja Markovic Zaatman — Google review
Entrence is only 20kn, and you can explore a bit of Korčula's rich history. A the moment the museum is beeing rebuilt so entrence to the temporary location is just around the corner.

Good selection of themes, with interesting displays. I particularly enjoyed the seascape with amphorae, the 18th (?) century room, and the attic kitchen. Really quiet. €6 adults
David Heath-Whyte — Google review
The visit to the museum was the highlight of the Old Town Korčula. A newly renovated building with 5 levels is organized extremely well. Vicko, our guide is truly the best guide one can have for the museum, and Korčula Island really. Highly recommended! Ask for Vicko!
Casa di Oliveto Petrovac, Montenegro — Google review
Bit disappointed coz the actual museum is being renovated and only in temporary home and possibly a lot more would have been displayed ...
Trish Callier — Google review
Enjoyed my visit here. Spent an hour and a half looking around which wasn't really long enough to do the museum justice. Well organised on a logical, chronological basis from the basement up to the top floor.
St. Mark's Church is a 15th-century cathedral situated in the old town of Korcula, boasting stunning coastal views from its bell tower. Constructed using local limestone by Italian and indigenous craftsmen, the church has an intriguing Gothic-Renaissance style facade featuring naked figurines of Adam and Eve on door pillars, a two-tailed mermaid and elephant on the gable cornice at its apex.
The Cathedral of St. Mark, Korčula’s Gothic-Renaissance cathedral, hemmed in by a web of streets in the center of Korčula’s old town is stunning. Completed in the 15th century at the hands of local artisans with the help of Italian masters. The view from the top of the bell tower is beyond stunning.
Turi Galbraith — Google review
Beautiful old church with stunning views from the bell tower! Amazing view of the sunset from the top! Be warned - very narrow stone steps at first and then scramble up a ladder to the last part!
M M — Google review
Korcula is a dream place and The church was beautiful. The bell tower was also really good, at first there was a narrow stair spiral but after that the stairs were wider. The panorama at the top is good, you can see everything. You have to pay for the church and the tower separately, they cost around 25kuna for adults and 15kuna for children. Overall, I would say that it is worth it to see both of them, especially the church. Make sure you do it!

Found folks at Keen Korcula Island to be much more friendly, and laid back with island grace and friendliness. Korcula is a relaxing walled island steeped in history and rich culture. There are many coves and small beaches which dot this south coastline of Charming Croatia. We enjoyed the many narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnicent palaces of this charming medieval town in captivating Korcula. We also enjoyed a scenic coastal cruise as well. The Museums are closed on public holidays. We visited the ruins of the house where according to local legend Marco Polo was born.
Helen Lim — Google review
Certainly the most impressive church in town. Worth a visit when in Korcula, especially the tower which has great views of the town and the surrounding bay. The tickets for the tower and the church are separate.
Robert Chomicz — Google review
There are actually two entrances, one for the church, and one for the bell tower. There's even two different tickets for each of those.(around 20 kuna each). The cathedral looks nice, but I can't say it's something you've probably haven't seen before. But if you cherish art really well, you could enjoy it.
But the bell tower view is amazing. Just be warned, it's really steep and narrow inside. If you're afraid of heights or if you have a bigger constitution, it could be challenge to go upstairs.

You can enter for free to the church when there is a mass. Generally everyday at 7pm. But if you want to go to the tower you must pay 20kunas. Is worth it! The view is incredible!
Paula Carrettoni — Google review
Beautiful church, but be careful, the staircase to the top of the church is very tight und the stairs are slippery. The outlook at Korčula is beautiful
Tucepi beach it truly beautiful. It sparkles on sunny days and has a stunning glow as the sun sets.
The clear sea is gorgeous and calm to swim in. We enjoyed sitting on the shore and swimming in the sea.
We enjoyed the walk past day or night.
It's a great little beach with lots of watersports and excursions going on! So you can relax or find something adventurous to do!
Just a tip- if you have your own sea shoes, BRING THEM! The stones are very painful on your feet. But if you don't own any, don't worry, the shops along the promenade all sell them!

Great beach, little bit of everything. It's in a little bay, so water is extra calm. Clean, with big rocks. Lots of natural shade as well. Few cafes here and there. There's also a dog beach here, so it's super nice for all furry lovers as well.

I'll never travel to Sarajevo without this trip planner again
Croatia's second-highest mountain, with hiking & bus tours, a dangerous road & dramatic ocean views.
I truly recommend to drive up to the top.
It is worth additional time and effort.
I’ve read a lot how demanding this road can be… to be honest I found it quite soft. You can see the road on one of my photos. The most challenging part might probably be driving backwards on this narrow road when two cars must pass each other.
Tickets can be purchased via web page.
Miłosz Kuciński — Google review
The view is amazing but I recommend to visit this place on the last tour and wait until all people finish taking pictures if you want to fully enjoy this place

A waiting time of 2-3 hours, about which no information can be found in advance. An unfriendly reception is alsó, drawn down with money wherever they can.
M?t? B — Google review
Had I known how narrow and dangerous the road up to skywalk was I would have not gone but I’m pleased I didn’t know because the view is spectacular and sense of achievement beats the downsides.
:-)
Vesna Cramer — Google review
It’s ok. I saw that people with height fright were very excited. The road is tricky, but rather for those who go first time in the mountains with a car. Going there, you should go to the mountain top (Svieti Jure), otherewise it is a lackluster event in my book.
Jay Zee — Google review
Beautiful nature park, in the higher regions the roads are just broad enough for one car, so when it is busy I would not recommend this in high season and on busy days, but the views are amazing.
Paul Deckers — Google review
Awesome!
Don't be put off by some of the reviews about the road... yes, its hair raising but as long as you're a confident driver and CAN reverse then you'll be fine! We did it in a Fiat Ducato Van without any problems.
Get there EARLY. Of you're not there at 5.30am (when there will already be a queue) then you'll be waiting 2-4 hours to get up, and you'll face all the early traffic on the road coming back.
Absolute must-do if you are in the area.

(Translated by Google) Awesome and incredibly impressive/beautiful place. You should wear sturdy shoes. (No sandals or similar) From the parking lot you can walk through the forest along the "crater". Please pay close attention to your children, there is only a railing at the top of the crater. (A kind of viewing platform) The path along the crater is very beautiful but unpaved. (And it's quite steep uphill) There is also another path, but it doesn't have a panoramic view.
A trip is definitely worth it. You should also have something to drink with you.
I was very impressed by the sight 😁

Krasser und unglaublich imposanter / schöner Ort. Man sollte festes Schuhwerk tragen. (Keine Sandalen o.

Blue Lake, also known as Modro jezero, is a picturesque crater lake with crystal clear, deep blue water. Surrounded by high rock faces, it offers a breathtaking backdrop and invites you to relax and enjoy nature.
The red lake, or Crveno jezero, on the other hand, is a fascinating phenomenon. With its intense red water and steep cliffs, it creates a dramatic atmosphere. The red color is believed to be due to the sediments and algae in the water. The sight of the red lake is unique and impressive.

Be sure to wear good shoes. Also note that swimming here costs money. 2.5 euro under 18 and above 5.5 euro. The lake is awesome. No need to bring snorkels, the water is clear but I haven't seen anything. Also no toilet or shops down at the lake. Toilets are present on top.

The Blue Lake is just fantastic. It’s a bit of a hike in and out as the path is just over 1/2 mile long with 450ft of elevation gain from bottom to the top, but it’s worth the effort. Take food and drink as you don’t want to have to go up and down any more than necessary. The lake is a sink hole and is just beautiful. Great swimming, diving and general fun that kept our teenage kids off the phones the whole time we were there. Will be back again soon.
Goran Raven — Google review
Really unique place with his own story.
Blue lake was always attractive to visit but last year's lake accessibility has been improved. There is a path which brings you (almost) to the lake itself.
Once there you enjoy the untouched nature and get unexpected refreshment from the lake.
Way back is not that easy. Do not hurry and keep in mind to take some wather with you.
However, once back on the top there is a great small place "Šimetrija" which offers different types of refreshments. Really great experience.

Highly recommended tour, especially for beginners. Thanks Ivan!

Looking at the website and reviews we thought this would be a quality experience. It turned into the highlight of our trip. Ivan is an authentic and genial host. Kravica Waterfall National Reserve is a popular attraction with stunning waterfalls and nearby amenities. There is an entrance fee, but it's worth the cost to spend time sunbathing, enjoying a picnic or sitting in a cafe. The area has rocky coastlines and swift water currents, so special shoes are recommended for swimming. Visitors can take great walks and capture picturesque photos of the breathtaking scenery.
Paid entrance.
But the park is worth the money.
It is better to spend more time here, sunbathe, sit in a cafe or have a picnic. But be careful, the water speed is high and the coast is rocky, take special shoes with you if you plan to swim.
Great place for walking and picturesque photos.

We visited these waterfalls now in July 2022. I can say that the place is more beautiful than in photos. The entrance can be payed by credit card. When arriving near the waterfalls we payed for the boat trip (60 euros for 4 persons). It is worth the money. It is 50 minutes and you can enjoy the landscape, the birds, the fishes and the specific plants that grow there. I recommend to everyone this place.

This is the most beautiful waterfall I've ever been too. It was so refreshing on a hot sunny day to get the lovely mist from the waterfall. The drinks available here were nice too.
Darian Thomson — Google review
The place is amazing. It is fantastic to be allowed to take a bath there, and there are many routes and paths. There is also a turistic train, you can rent sunbeds and towels, there are restaurants and bars, so the place is completely for tourists, beautiful, but crowded even in September as the temperature is about 34 degrees.
Luis Vidal — Google review
Beautiful waterfalls but not worth the extortionate price of €10. I don't see why the cost is this much. It's a natural feature. Tourist trap, perhaps?
We stopped off here on our tour and only had an hour. The water was cold, and if I had more time, I probably would have gone in for a dip. 1 hour wasn't long enough for more than a toe touch.
The falls are beautiful. It's surrounded by trees. It's more of a nature walk than somewhere you can sit and picnic. Again, I don't see how they justify the entrance fees.
There is currently building works in progress on the lower level, someone giving rides in a small boats, toilets at the top, and a small cafe that doesn't even sell 6 They only accept Convertible Mark (km) in Mostar. Conversion 2km = €1 yet here they only accepted Euros.

You can see family's enjoying, many swimming around. Cars can be taken too. Absolute beautiful , breadth taking views turquoise green water, nature at its best. A must visit , while visiting the Balankan area. A pure Mediterranean natural wonder.

Pretty awesome place. The views are very nice. Its a good place to stop while on a road trip or just passing by. Its a good place for families to go. Kids under 18 enter free! Its 10 euros for adults to enter. There are a few restaurants next to the waterfall.

Boasting a stunning view that attracts crowds, this location is perfect for family visits. A mere 5-10 minute downhill walk will lead you there, and the path is quite accessible for both elders and young children. Despite temperatures reaching up to 33 degrees, the water remains delightfully crisp. For those seeking a refreshing dip, it's absolutely perfect!
Boat rentals are conveniently available, providing an exciting opportunity to get up close with the waterfalls. A selection of bars ensures you can quench your thirst, while comfortably lounging on beach chairs. Moreover, restrooms are available, adding to the overall convenience.
Whether you're seeking a bit of adventure or simply a place to relax, this location has a lot to offer. You'll certainly appreciate the natural beauty and well-thought-out amenities.

We visited the waterfall on a day tour from Split and highly recommend doing so of you're either in Split or Dubrovnik and it's really time well spent! Compared to other waterfalls or national parks in Croatia here you can actually swim in the water which is a great plus. The waterfalls are beautiful and a must see. Would come back for sure!

A place worth visiting if in the area. The tickets were 10.30 euro per person, we have payed by a card. The toilets are located just after the tickets office. Parking is spacious and free.
You can admire the beautiful waterfalls while laying down on the bathing beach, so it's worth staying there for a few hours. There are a few places to eat, but you can only pay with cash so be prepared. Word of advice, if you're tempted to buy alcohol from the guy mid way to the waterfalls - don't. The same products are at least 5 e cheaper by the parking.

Small multi waterfalls in the old Roman road. You can swim in it too. Reportedly the water was very cold. You had to walk down from the parking lot perhaps 100 meters because it is in a valley in Bosnia Herzegovina. The walk is convenient and delightful.

Wow has this place improved and got a life in the past 10 years. We were there when they only had 1 little hut thing to get drinks and you could still just off the cliffs near the falls. More restaurants now, but the cliffs and close to them has been closed off, so no longer possible. Amazing clean and fresh water!

Stunning waterfalls a short walk (down approx 100-200 steps) from the car park. It's filled with tourists, but this didn't diminish the experience. There are bars all around the edge of the waterfall plunge pool but they are relatively well priced. A very enjoyable freshwater swim will take you right up close to the bottom of the falls. On the far side from you where you come in there is a sandy shallow area where you can paddle. Well worth a visit. 10 eur entry pp, parking free.

Beautiful place :-) Down at the waterfall is a flat river where u can swim (it is cold and a bit fast so be careful!). The view is beuatiful and the sounds of waterfalls are out of world.
There is a parking nearby, then you walk for 10 minutes downhill by foot and youre at the waterfalls.

Monte da Cruz, also known as Križevac, is a sacred site that features a path adorned with the Stations of the Cross. The journey to its summit requires navigating rocks and red sand, making it a challenging endeavor in temperatures reaching up to 42 degrees during summer. It is recommended to bring at least 1 liter of water per person for this roughly 45-50 minute climb.
Cross Mountain in Medjugorje is a place of profound spiritual significance for many visitors. Rising 520 meters above sea level, this iconic landmark in Bosnia and Herzegovina has become a renowned pilgrimage site. The path to the summit is adorned with the Stations of the Cross, allowing pilgrims to reflect on Jesus Christ's journey to Calvary. The breathtaking panoramic views from the top provide a sense of peace and serenity, making it a perfect spot for prayer and contemplation.
Many pilgrims describe their experience at Cross Mountain as deeply moving and transformative. The physical exertion required to reach the summit is seen as a symbolic representation of one's spiritual journey and commitment to faith. The atmosphere at the top is often described as ethereal, with a sense of divine presence that is palpable to those who visit. Overall, Cross Mountain in Medjugorje is a place that invites visitors to connect with their faith, find solace, and experience a profound sense of spiritual renewal.
Samir J — Google review
It is quite larger than the Apparition hill and quite steep and stony. There are stations of the cross while you climb and it is not meant for the faint-hearted. The stones are quite sharp so that in case of falling one may break the bones.
Stanly Palathingal — Google review
Worth going or at least trying challenge to get to the top, as temperatures over the summer hit 42 degrees and to get all the way to the top you have to climb over rocks and red sand. Bring at least 1l of water for each person + bare in mind it takes roughly 45-50 minutes to get there during the day. But view and entire spiritual journey is definitely worth going!
Dominik Komarnicki — Google review
It is moving and powerful to pray the stations of the cross as you climb Cross Mountain. I followed the tradition of carrying a stone, representing my sins, from the bottom of the mountain to the top, and leaving it at the resurrection station. I experienced great peace and consolation when offering my prayer intentions at the foot of the cross.

A labor of love 💘. The journey is arduous. It is rocky and steep. Young and old complete this trek up this mountain in a spiritual quest seeking guidance for a troubled humanity. Bronze reliefs of Jesus's last day on earth emerge as you go higher to the beautiful White Cross destination.

Zvirovići, monte Križevac (monte Šipovac è stato chiamato appunto monte Križevac nel 1934), Bosnia & Herzegovina
Medugorje is a popular site where sightings of the Virgin Mary have been reported since 1981. A climb up Apparition Hill is a significant experience for Catholics, but it requires sturdy footwear and can take at least 30 minutes on a rocky path. The climb is rewarding, offering peaceful and serene views from the top of the hill. Visitors can stop at Lady Queen of Peace prayer statue to enjoy the beautiful scenery before returning back down.
The path is quite difficult, you will need good hiking shoes
Franci Kuncic — Google review
On pilgrimage to Medjugorje, this has got to be on your To Do list. On this barren hill, pray and meditate along the way. At the top of the hill, stay a little while at foot of the Crucifix and gaze for a little while into the smiling face of Our Lady of Medjugorje.
karen chia — Google review
Visiting Apparition Hill in Medjugorje was an experience that left a profound impact on me, one that I feel compelled to share. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this sacred site exudes a sense of peace and spiritual significance that is palpable from the moment you set foot on its hallowed ground. The path leading up to the hill is lined with rocks and wooden crosses, guiding pilgrims on their reflective journey towards the site where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to six local children in 1981.
The atmosphere atop Apparition Hill is serene and inviting, encouraging visitors to pause and contemplate in silence. Regardless of one's religious beliefs, the sense of unity and collective faith among the pilgrims is truly inspiring. It's a place that doesn't just speak to the devout but to anyone seeking solace or a moment of contemplation in today's fast-paced world.
My visit to Apparition Hill was not just a physical journey, but a spiritual odyssey that offered moments of introspection and a deeper connection to something beyond the everyday. For those seeking a place of peace, reflection, and spiritual renewal, Apparition Hill in Medjugorje is a destination like no other.

If you visit Medugorje you must climb Apparition Hill, this is a very moving experience that you will never forget as a Catholic. Be prepared to climb for at least 30 minutes a very rocky path, so bring adequate shoes. The climb up is hard but worth it for the spiritual experience of growing closer to our holly Mary. Once you reach the top, f you will be very peaceful and serene. Stop at the little prayer statue of our Lady, Queen of Peace and turn around and you will see beautiful view from the top of the hill.

One of the most holy and spiritual places in the world. I've come here twice now. Each time has been food for my soul and faith as a Croatian Catholic. More recently, I made the arduous journey up the hill late at night which is very dangerous both up hill as well, if not more, as down hill. Once at the apparition site, it was beautifully silent. Amazing quiet which presented an atmosphere rife for prayer and reflection. If you get a chance to visit this holy place, please do. Take your time with the journey up and down. Allow yourself some time for prayer and reflection once you reach the site. Understand where you are. Understand what you are a part of and what you are witnessing.

This is a spiritual place, and if you are reasonably fit you should be able to get there. It is important to have strong pair of shoes. As always the descent can be potentially dangerous and a high level of caution is required.

It is a lovely spot for a short hike. Many people travel here as a pilgrimage site. Not a lot of info there so do your research ahead of time. The hike to the site of the apparition is very rocky. The stones have been worn shiny by thousands of visitors. Even so, there isn't a distinct path and navigating the jagged rocks takes time.
No purchase necessary to access the hill. There's also free parking at a nearby dirt lot.

It was my first time being in Bosnia Hergizova, I went there with John Walsh Pilgrim Tour. I paid £750 for 8 days spiritual holiday. Our group leader Milka is an awesome and she is an amazing lady. The hotel was Dubrovnik hotel, it is a clean hotel. The church is 2 minutes walk away. The Risen Christ is also 5 minutes walk away. Viktore restaurant is just opposite of the church and they do amazing food. Reaching out to Apparition hill is extremely challenging, it is a very peaceful place, it is worth showing your love for Mother Mary. You definitely feel Mother Mary's presence when you reach to the top of the hill. I felt that she is watching over all of us & every single one of us😍😍😍I lovveee her so muchhhh, she is my energetic sugar grandmother in Heaven 11😁👍👼🏼💙💎🖤she is also here in this Hologram we all are living in. I am so happy I managed to find her. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, the food was very tasty and they are very generous with the portions. I was so fortunate to be able to meet Ivan from the visionary children Mother Mary has chosen to deliver her messages. Imma & I were invited to the visionary arrangement meeting. Mother I believe Mary wanted to see us while we were in Bosnia Herzegovina on her birthday. I felt so special.☺️We also attended a meeting with the lovely priest gentlemen, he also said a pendant will be given to all of us, it has God Jesus & Mother Mary on it. I believe in their power, I love them both. ☺️I definitely recommend visiting Bosnia Hergizova. The delta of the Neretva river is an intriguing destination with both agriculture and reed beds flourishing. It presents a distinctive way of life between water and land, though its future remains uncertain. Exploring the area by boat is highly recommended to discover its hidden gems. The cuisine in this region features delectable dishes like eel and frog stews paired with unique herbal spirits alongside great wines.
It's a gorgeous Herzegovina river sourcing near the Konjic and finished in the Adriatic sea near Metkovic town. The river passes through five major places Konjic, Jablanica, Mostar, Capljina, and Metkovic. The most famous world bridge passes over the Neretva River and joins two shores, and of course, it's Old Bridge in Mostar, protected by the Unesco association.

The Mostar Old Bridge Viewpoint offers stunning views of the city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Incredibly, the bridge was rebuilt in the 1990s following its bombardment during the civil war. Numerous cafes and restaurants line the bridge's banks, making it an ideal spot to spend a few hours enjoying the sights and sounds of Mostar.
The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. In the 1990s conflict, however, most of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO. The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. The reconstructed Old Bridge and Old City of Mostar is a symbol of reconciliation, international co-operation and of the coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities.

I'll never travel to Sarajevo without this trip planner again
The Old Bazaar in Mostar is a pedestrian-only street lined with 16th-century buildings, some of which are painted vibrant pink. The market is filled with traditional home-style restaurants and shops selling colourful handicrafts.
In the bazaar we find an "infinity" of items, but it attracts attention and are very visible the products made by coppersmiths ... for example a complete set for preparing and serving Bosnian (Turkish) coffee. We also find oriental delicacies. I was struck by the presence of many handycraft pieces that reflect the memory of the civil war, being made of whole cartridges, cartridge tubes or other ammunition.
The bazaar capitalizes the secular tradition of craftsmen who came here in the 15th century with the occupation of this province by the Ottoman Empire and turned Mostar into an important craft and trade center whose fame spread throughout the Empire.
In Mostar there are 30 different associations of craftsmen, some of them dating from 1762, such as bakers (ekmekdžije), the tailors (terzije), the shoemakers (baškmadžije), weavers (ćebedžije), goldsmiths (kujundžije), barbers ), builders (dundžeri) etc. Most of the traditional handicrafts activities are carried out inside the Old Bazaar area, representing a great attraction for tourists who appreciate the authenticity and beauty of the items (clothing, leather, copper and precious metals, fabrics, etc.).
The bazaar is called Kujundžiluk (goldsmiths ?) after the street that runs through the Old Town and used since the 16th century for commercial activities. It is a narrow, pedestrian street, bordered by shops installed in old stone houses and very crowded during our visit. In the central area of the street (bazaar) is the famous Old Bridge (Stari Most, bordered by 2 towers, hence the name of the city: "mostari" = the bridge keepers; built by the Turks in 1566), the emblem of the city. Almost completely destroyed in the civil war (1992-1995), both the bridge and the neighboring historic area were rebuilt with international help. The reconstruction of the bridge in 2004, simultaneously with the political reunification of Mostar, were seen as a symbol of reconciliation and restoration of the connection (physical and spiritual) between the divided ethnic groups (Bosniaks, Croats, Serbs). In July 2005, the Old Town's historic center, including the 16th-century market square, mosques and the famous Old Bridge were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

It is a small bazaar with not many variety or interesting items to buy other than souvenirs so only worth a visit if you are near the area. On the positive side, it is well-maintained and visually looks good plus it is also recently quiet in comparison to others in big cities.
D.A. — Google review
Lovely part of the city that yet transports you to a completely different cultural experience. Love how lively this old bazar is which is of course unsurprisingly packed but not too much that movement is impossible. The colors, the set up, the old bazar in itself is is just a sight to behold. People were extremely nice too.

Lots of little stores with souvenirs to buy. Worth having a look if you are in the area, otherwise just like any other market in bosnia.

Old market ir absolutely must see un visit place. It is the car-free area of Mostar. In this part of town you can find many artisans selling their traditional handicrafts from little shops by the side of the street: there are several interesting copper items and beautiful carpets, as well as clothes, scarves, jewelry, pipes and nargilehs. It's also the oldest - and luckily most intact - part of town.

Blagaj Tekke is a historic Sufi monastery located on the cliffs by the water, featuring a mausoleum and an old Turkish bath. Built in 1520 by the Ottomans as a dervish lodge, it offers a wonderful area to explore while in Bosnia. Visitors can pay a small fee to tour the inside of the monastery or take a short walk up an opposite path for a beautiful view of the shaded area.
Awesome natural and mosque, 10km entry ticket, very peaceful and historic.
Angelia Lee — Google review
It’s a special monastery in Bosnia. But if want to see the scenery as picture that don’t need to buy ticket. Just through bridge and restaurant then can arrive. Should spend around half hour to enjoy this stunning view.
Charlotte — Google review
We were lucky to get a parking nearest to the allowed walking area to reach the monastery. We decided not to enter as there was a large crowd waiting for admission.
Blagaj is, in my opinion too touristic to my liking. the eateries along the river were full of people. The place is quite picturesque though.
We ended up taking photos of the Dervish House from the outside, from other side of the river.
绚 喻Xuanyi — Google review
It's only 10 marks, but it's really not worth it. The best views are from the area on the other side of the river. Took only a few minutes to see the entire building.
Even if it was free, I'm not sure I'd walk through it. Save the time, cross the river. It's prettier from the outside.

This is an incredible place. When you come, you can pray and take its healing water. We couldn't take our eyes off this place that smells of history. It is a bit far from Mostar, but you can reach it by taxi. I think it must be seen.

This is a monastery build for the Dervish. There isn't particularly much to see inside. I was more so enjoying the views from the outside. So if you want to save $10, just enjoy the beautiful scenic views from the outside 👍
Aleksandar Kikic — Google review
Beautiful tranquil setting. Hubby and I came here for lunch after the strenuous hike up to the Stari Grad. Restaurant food was actually surprisingly good (from past experience normally picturesque places have expensive unimpressive food). As long as you are aware of the tour buses of people, it's an amazing place to visit.

Wonderful little area to visit while in Bosnia. It's a short walk, you can either pay a small fee and visit the inside of the monastery or you can walk up a short path on the opposite side and see a beautiful view, very shaded area. I didn't visit the cafes, but there are lovely places to enjoy a meal or refreshments while admiring the beautiful view. We were able to park nearby for about 2 marks. There are vendors on the walk towards the monastery. It's a nice stop if you're in the area.

beautiful place, quite ambience, the sound of the river is very relaxing and calming. I love it, 10 marks to enter the Dervish House, I just saw the photos, dont think its worth it unless you are rich
Aisar Darwisy — Google review
It's very touristy, but for a good reason. The Dervish House is beautiful, on the inside as well as the outside. It's recommended to have a guide to explain all the details on the inside of the Dervish House. You need to take of your shoes and wear a head scarf (if you're woman), since it is a religious building. The nature surrounding the building is beautiful.
Lisa van Oort — Google review
We came here at 10:00, before the opening of the restaurant. There were no people, and we could enjoy the views in silence. Drones are not allowed here (airport area and strong wind). Enter to house costs 10 euro.
The monastery itself was built in 1520 by the Dervish. The monastery was considered as a place of spiritual retreat and reflection.
That place is easily reached by bus or car from Mostar. The monastery is located along the river at the base of the cliffs, just a few minutes walking distance east of the Blagaj bus stop.

Drove 20 minutes to reach this spot, while we had an entrance fee of 10/- KM per person, we expected something to see inside that building. They only have the last building at the back to see inside. To be honest, it doesn’t worth it. You are better off just taking photos from the other side of the water stream for the whole building area

This is one of the unique places in Bosnia. A islamic dervish established this place. He was called Sari Saltuk and he was famous all around Balkans. This place is breath taking, just amazing. Spring water rises from a cave.. Crystal clear water. In the restaurants they serve the fish caught in the river flowing just there. The fish i ate there was delicious. The building just in the bottom of huge rock.. The scene is magnificient. Just enjoy the natura here and hear voices of birds and water.. relaxing..

Utku ERİŞİK — Google review
The bridge was built between 1682 and 1683 by Ali-aga Hasečić.
In March 1945, the bridge's deck was destroyed by explosive charges laid by the retreating German army.
While the arches suffered heavy damage, all five piers survived, preserving the bridge's basic structural integrity and permitting eventual reconstruction.
After World War II, the Yugoslav government decided to temporarily repair the bridge for basic use.
Ater the Yugoslav Wars. The bridge was restored to its original appearance with European financial assistance between 2003 and 2009, and is once again a landmark of Ottoman architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The bridge was reopened on 16 June 2009.

Tito's Bunker - ARK D-0
Museum
Military Museums
Very nice, worth visiting. We learned a lot of interesting historical facts. Pet friendly if you carry your dog in his bag. The Ark is originally furnitured, and it was built to protect Tito, Jovanka, and other important persons from nuclear attack for 6 months. The deapest point is 180 m under the ground, and it has 8 emergency exits that allow you to get out and evacuate with helicopter in the mountain. So if you are nearby don't miss to visit it and experience the history, and learn some interesting facts.

Interesting site, the bunker is completely intact, it was converted to an art museum, so not al interiors are saved, but enough to get a good idea of how it was. Excellent (english speaking) guide that has interesting things to say but also lets you explore on your own. Fascinating peace of history.

A fantastic and fascinating dive into a cold war bunker. Slightly confusing setup - those aren't opening times, they're the timed slots for tours. And it's kinda hard to buy tickets online, but they do take cash on entry.
Once inside you can see the operation of the bunker, several rooms with original (and uber-cool) furniture, plus art installations from a variety of Balkan artists responding to the bunker and the politics of the region.
Highly recommended

I thank those that chose not to dynamite this piece of history. A truly intriguing interior with some art pieces mixed in among some sections.
You really get to see how a nation expects to live when the end of days comes.
Now imagine that Tito himself died before it was finished! Never could he have thought the end of days and downfall of Yugoslavia would actually come from his own mortality.

Why: Energy machine used for the long tistance two way communication,; self- henling and rejuvenation, water and food molecular structure improvement, development of spiritual abilities, to diminish natural catastrophes, and protect original Planetary frequency (Schuman resonance).
Entrance fee is really something symbolic, you are allowed to wonder around and explore this beautiful Pyramid by yourself with all the guidelines around!
There are organized groups ~ tour included in ticket price ~ with representatives speaking multiple languages:
serbian, english, german, russian… etc.
The tour is acc. 30 minutes and you get all the information about this magical place!
Everything is very clean, well organized, safe and very relaxing. Parking is within walking distance from ticket purchasing stand.

Pyramids are not the first thing that come to mind when thinking of Bosnia and Herzegovina. But one Bosnian town is increasingly proud of its “pyramids”, attracting new age tourist euros and scorn from the scientific community in equal measure. Visoko, around 35 kilometres north of Bosnia’s capital Sarajevo, is the site of a cluster of hills that it is often said look like pyramids. Many locals claim, however, that it’s more than just a passing resemblance. Scientists believe that the hills are not pyramids at all, but rather natural structures known as flatirons. These do resemble pyramids, but they are the result of the differential erosion of a layer of resistant rock overlaid on softer strata. If you want tı see the pyramids, hang around the city center. You don’t need to go there because pyramids can not be seen in that area. Also there is no public transportation after the train station.

The tour is not only expensive (by Bosnian standards), but full of so much hooey and pseudoscience that it is difficult not to laugh at all the "proven" facts. It is a natural formation and nothing more but these shysters try to convince the public that the tunnels somehow possess healing qualities and other such nonsense. A total waste of time and money.

Visiting the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun was a thought-provoking experience, where the grandeur of the structure and the enigmatic energy of the place left a strong impression. Despite the controversy surrounding its origins, the historical intrigue adds to the site's mystique, making the visit worthwhile. The complex network of tunnels beneath the pyramid adds another layer of mystery and adventure to the experience. This visit not only offered a glimpse into Bosnia's rich narrative but also sparked curiosity about the lesser-known wonders of the world.

Beautiful place with really peaceful surroundings. It's great for people curious about archeology, but it is also nice for everyone- regardless of what one think about the pyramids and how they were built by humans, or how they can open some chakras, it's for sure a nice place to spend a day in nature and enjoy fresh air and beautiful views.
This picturesque nature preserve near the city of Sarajevo is home to a spring and pool, as well as cafes. It's been popular with locals for over a hundred years, and was recently hailed one of the country's top natural attractions. The park was once home to a large number of trees that were indiscriminately chopped down for heat purposes; however, thanks to the efforts of youth eco-warriors, many now regenerated.

It is large and beautiful park. Lots of trees, and open space.
The sound of running water in the streams, and the white swans in the pond are just magic! Well, there are also small wooden bridges too, across the running water below. It is a great spot for taking romantic and memorable photographs,
It is a very relaxing place to have a break from all the mad rushing, and driving in congested road.

One of most amazing places visited in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Bosnia itself has some of the cleanest and most abundant water in the whole World. The place is well kept and being out of season and during work week it was incredible relaxing. Parking was easy and park is mostly flat besides the small bridges and few remote areas.

Beautiful place where you can breathe clean and fresh air. Nicely clean and organized with so many spots to enjoy the nature. Perfect place if you want to run out of city life for a bit.

Nice nature. Near Ilidža and Sarajevo. Go, visit and enjoy, or take a ride with the carriage. Pet friendly if your dog is on leash

This place is such a great place to walk and relax your brain. It needs some improvement and guide information. Food trucks and some summer activities would make it a great distinction.

Nature is fine but litter is everywhere and there is no real parking, people often have to rely on horse carriages or walk 1-2+ km.

This is the best place in Sarajevo to relaxing and enjoying the nature. I felt like I was walking through in a fairytale. There are 2 cafes inside, located in a good area where has a good view. Prices are reasonable.

I found this park very nice but, according to me, to ask a total payment of around 5 bam between parking and the park, which is really, really small, it should have been something more. No indications, no way to find the Roman bridge, a restaurant with toilets that were particularly smelly and dirty....Considering that it takes around 45minutes to arrive there with the traffic jam, you may visit this place if you really want to.
The Sarajevo Tunnel was a vital lifeline for food, aid, resources, weapons and often people coming into and out of the besieged city during the Bosnian War. The museum at the site of the tunnel displays how close the city came to being destroyed by sniper fire.
A great way to spend 2 hours. Be prepared to read a lot. This was the tunnel that saved Sarajevo. It was €10 to get in and then €3 for the audio tour which after the first five stands got a bit same same. You can learn all there is by reading the info instead of someone reading for you. Amazing what people can do. Sadly it was not enough for the 11500 people who did not make it through to the end of the siege.

Interesting place to understand the Bosnian civil war better and it's impact on Sarajevo although the tunnel part is very small

A surreal experience. Marveling at mankind’s
will to survive. Only able to purchase tickets in local currency but was able to exchange currency in the next door shop. The shop owner told us her husband was the driver of the Truck in the museum garden. Heroism defined, he unfortunately was in hospital with pancreatic cancer. Made the experience very memorable.

A historic landmark which worth to be visited.. it shows the great spirit of Bosnian soldiers who believe in their capacity to build this tunnel of hope…

Great attraction
You can go through 2 parts of the tunnel
They have exhibitions with some tools, clothes, and weapons
Also, they have a video showing real footage from when the tunnel was used
I definitely recommend a visit
Watch your head while inside the tunnel

Like any of recent historic places, specially a depressing one, a local guide, preferably one who saw the history in the making, is strongly recommended. Ours was fantastic. With his narrative, he painted a vivid picture of Sarajevo siege and took us back in time when the Tunnel of Hope was being dug. I've also experienced Vietnam tunnels and this was no less fascinating. Leaves you with a strong positive feeling towards humanity that can face any odd and survive.

Nice museum type exhibit but there isn't much there and it's a bit our of the way. Was told it filled up during tourist season but a nice off season visit. With only a minor portion rebuilt it's hard to imagine how far it went.

We reach to the house via taxi. Then we buy the entrance ticket on the spot. Someone will brief the area. Then we start our own tour.
A lot of things we can learn from here. Patience, Efforts, prayer and trust.
Come and see yourself. I believe it's worth it.

A mind blowing, emotional experience, hard to believe this really happened in my lifetime. There are many sights in Sarajevo relating to the visit and I agree with many reviewers that this is THE one to visit.
This is the tunnel that was underneath Sarajevo airport, linking the village of Butmir and the outer suburbs of Sarajevo.. the original tunnel was 830 meters long, however, the majority has now been filled in.
There is a small section of the original tunnel (from within the house) and a newer 125 meter section. The original part is closed. You can visit the newer section.
There is a small museum with displays and information, but we most appreciated the movie that ran about 15 minutes and showed footage of the tunnel and its use and construction, and the two tunnel sections (one original, one reconstructed) that are available for you to walk through.
Unfortunately, this site is difficult to reach without a car, since it's a long distance away from town.

Such a powerful experience!
It is not that big area to walk through, it is well maintained, clean and organized. My only comment is that they could have provided a guided tour for everybody, even the movie they show is not translated to English which is too bad!! I say that because we had the chance to hear a guide there who came with another group and he spoke so passionately about the subject that it made our experience much more powerful. And that's what needs to be done to keep this place memory alive. Take your kids and teach them a great lesson in history!
Very recommended.

Experience the walk through mockup tunnel that emulates the shallow tunnel dug under the Sarajevo airport’s runaway used by the Bosnian people to evade from the enemy and for transporting the supplies during the Bosnian war. The complex also equipped with mini theatre rooms for the briefing and video shows of what actually happened in Sarajevo city and the making of the tunnel during the the Bosnian war. The complex also provides amenities such as WC and souvenirs shop.

Really worth visiting. Such recent history. They have done great work to preserve the tunnel. You can feel the struggle that the people went through by going here.

A place where Bosnian people take shelter and used this place for transportation of food, etc. during the four years long seige of Sarajevo city.

Its a part of the country's history,Touching true stories from the war period in bosnia during early 90s, you may ask you have a guide of the people who really were involved in the war and used the tunnel. Well it was amusing but short one, you need like 40 min max to finish it all.
Mohannad Biyrouti — Google review
This is an intimate look at a wartime supply and escape tunnel used to ferry people and goods into and out of the besieged city of Sarajevo. A private home turned into the key access and construction operation and a point not controlled by the opposing forces. Lots of signs and a video, but best to have a local guide who can relate the details.
There's a small section of the tunnel which you can walk through to experience. Definitely visit the much longer tunnel and memorial often missed by larger groups. Educational, haunting, tactile, uplighting and visceral.
The Gallery 11/07/95 is a memorial museum and gallery that serves as a testimony to the Srebrenica genocide. The permanent exhibition contains both documentary and archive material from the massacre, which is extremely powerful to see. After touring this museum, it's time to head to another one in the city centre.
The stark realities of genocide in modern times are on display here, interpreted primarily through a series of incredible photographs taking the aftermath of events at Srebrenica. Chilling, but so important to understand...
Malcolm Currie — Google review
Museum specifically focuses on the genocide in Srebrenica, towards the end of the Bosnian War. Unknowingly spent 4 hours in there cos there's so so much to absorb. The audio guide is a must to really understand the stories behind the exhibits, and also please do spend time to watch the films - they are so powerful in educating what went on and also hitting hard on the emotions and hurt that still lives today in Bosnia.
Ying Wah Chan — Google review
Really good museum, it's in the 3td floor of the building, the exposition is not big, just a single floor but very touching. Lots of imagens and videos that you can watch even without audio guide. Entrance is 12 KM, around 6 euros.
Yonathan Stein — Google review
This is a powerful exhibition not only of photographs but also video footage of the conflict. The oral history captured in the video footage is an important time capsule for the tragedy that happened to thousands of innocent people.
Leslie Shoemaker — Google review
I visited this gallery of course to see the war photos, but also partially in order to avoid from the heat of July in Sarajevo.
Hot and stuffy inside. Couldn't concentrate on the exhibition. If you take that much money for the entrance fee, you should at least provide the pleasant atmosphere - air condition.

Excellent gallery, museum. A must if interested in Srebrenica genocide and modern history of BiH in general.
Austin Malloy — Google review
Terribly heart-breaking but these are stories that absolutely need to be told.
The ticket allows you to visit this museum over 2 days which is quite thoughtful as it could get too heavy to handle all in one go. The gallery also opens until 9pm which is very convenient if you are in Sarajevo only a short time and want to pack a lot in. Make sure to get the audio guide and watch the documentaries - allow about 2 hours all up.
Alice Wu — Google review
It's not comfortable to see and listen all these materials but is necessary.
Marina Alonso — Google review
Not a "fun" thing to do by any means but a fantastic museum/gallery. I suggest you go when you can really take your time. It took me 3 hours with the extended audio and to watch all the mini films / documentaries they had playing.
Kathryn Smith — Google review
We toured the gallery during our stay in Sarajevo. We had not heard about the genocide very much during our tour. Bring an item to leave at the front so you can use the recordings and ear set. I left my hotel key. The photos displayed in sections spoke loudly on their own but the descriptions did help. Stay for all 5 videos.

There are no words that can explain this place. No matter which level of the awareness you enter this gallery with, the emotion will overwhelm you. Rent the headphones for a better experience and much-needed explanation of the historical evidence. Must see!
Drazen Pejic — Google review
An immersive and touching exposition to tell the tale behind the Srebrenica genocide. The gallery goes beyond just showing pictures but tells the stories of those affected, making the experience more personal beyond the abstract statistics of the tragedy. Our tickets were valid for two days, which allowed us to listen to all the stories and watch all videos over multiple days. It can get heavy and intense to do everything at once. The audio guide is optional at the entrance but you absolutely have to take it.
Bert B — Google review
Mixed multimedia experience on the Srebrenica genocide. Such an impactful way of telling stories! I learnt so much in the 1.5 hours that I was there. Do get the audio guide. It only costs KM4 and it helps give context to the photos that you are looking at. Entry fee is only KM12. Definitely worth a visit!

Baščaršija is a historic district in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The district is made up of a number of Ottoman-era religious monuments, including mosques, churches and madrasas. Baščaršija also contains a lively tourist market, which is one of the most popular areas in Sarajevo for tourists.
Part of the old city.
Very atmospheric place.
There are many cafes, restaurants, pastry shops, souvenir shops and people.
The food is very tasty. And not least, the prices for food and drinks are the same throughout the city and the country as a whole.
Convenient transport accessibility. There are also trams and buses.
Recommend to visit.

One of the most fascinating places I have ever seen. The old town of Sarajevo, full of small shops, crafters, restaurants, cafes; a pedestrian paradise, full of life from eraly morning to late night, where everything is tidy, inviting, beautiful. A must visit! It turns you back to the old Times. So many little things to buy (recommendations for the local sweets, brass coffee pots and teacups). The cafes usually do not have restrums, so go to the public toilet of you must (around 50cents). There Is a large parking area (around 1Eur per hour), but very very crowded. There Is "gradska tržnica" nearby (walk to the "new" Part of town) which Is a enclosed market place in An old building where you can buy all sorta delicious domestic meet and dairy products!

Baščaršija is one of the most colorful places in Sarajevo, full of Balkan and oriental vibes, with the iconic Sebilj wooden fountain. Turkish-style artisan shops are full of things, that cannot be bought anywhere else in Europe. And the traditional Bosnian Coffee tastes great.

Unfortunately just like the rest of Sarajevo there are a lot of very persistent beggars that will come back multiple times even after giving money.

Basically, this is the oldish part of Sarajevo, where the market was held. Honestly, this is also the part of the city I prefer most!! You can’t get any feeling for history here unless perhaps hiding in the mosque. It’s full of tourist souvenir shops ( though also some beautiful clothing and jewellery stores) and people gorging themselves with food all around you. There is virtually nobody looking inside the mosque or the brilliant National Museum. It’s all eating and shopping.

My preferred area in Sarajevo with lots of bazaars, restaurants and many options to enjoy the city and the wonderful sourvenirs and handicrafts.
This is a must in Sarajevo.
The imposing neo-Moorish City Hall in downtown Sarajevo is a national monument and popular tourist destination. It features a triangular facade and is decorated with striped ornamentation. The building was extensively damaged during the 1990s Siege of Sarajevo, but has since been restored. The interior is adorned with brightly coloured stained glass, and the basement houses an excellent exhibition on the city's various 20th century periods.
Such a beautiful building with so many architect details, its completely a different type from what we are used to see. This city hall deserves a visit, the inside is also full of surprises!

A very informative city hall - story of the city and the most impressive is the exhibition in the basement level. It walks you through what the city has experienced. You can tell the whole city is trying their very best to reserve their culture. All the documentations and imagery are very well preserved and informative.

Vijećnica is the most extravagant building constructed in Sarajevo during Austro-Hungarian occupation and serves as a symbol of the meeting of world civilizations.
The project was overseen by Alexander Wittek, who had proposed his Pseudo Moorish design – the perfect architectural unity of East and West – for the future seat of the city’s government.
Since it first opened on April 20, 1896, the building has become the most important symbol of Sarajevo and is featured as an iconic motif in many photographs of the city.
After World War II, Vijećnica became home to the National and University Library of BiH.
On the nights of August 25-26, 1992 during the last war, Vijećnica was set ablaze. Nearly 90% of the library's collection went up in flames and the building became a symbol of the Siege and tragedy of Sarajevo.
Vijećnica’s reconstruction got underway in 1996 and the official opening took place on May 9, 2014, the same day that Europe Day and the Day of Victory over Fascism are observed.

Beautiful architecture from the times of Austrio-Hungarian era. The building was a library during the war of 90's and suffered serious damages. Now it's restored to is former glory, rich in history and captivating to see.
Subhroneel Chakrabarti — Google review
Ultimate waste of money. This should be made free for public until they make some valuable artifacts to showcase.
Other than architecture of the building there is nothing to see there. The so called exhibitions and modern arts are totally worthless in my openion.
I suggest you can see required things in photos (that's all it's there) and then spend the money somewhere else.
Moreover the android audio guide app was nowhere to find in play store. May be some region setting is there for the app and not available to everyone..

Interesting to visit. Pointed out to me on a walking tour where I learned that it's in the shape of a triangle to represent the three peoples of Sarajevo (Bosnaiks, Serbs, and Croats). I also learned that the one of the original tenants on the land refused to sell unless his house was moved piece by piece across the street. This request was complied with.
City hall features Moorish/Andalusian architecture that reminded me of Cordoba Mosque in Spain. There are four levels of content - the ground floor and basement are Bosnian history. The second floor talks about politics and begins to feature contemporary art. Top floor also offers contemporary art.

It's extremely cool that they actually let you sit in the seats of council members in the parliamentary style chamber. The whole building feels imposing yet refined, the stained glass ceiling was supposedly hand-painted, which if true is incredibly impressive.
Upstairs within the hall is actually a modern art museum, which is filled with super confusing stuff for a non-art person like me.
You can also pay for an audio guide, via a mobile app.
