The number one best stop along the way from Suceava to Bucharest (with a short detour) is Therme Bucharest.
1
Therme Bucharest
Wellness center
Spas & Wellness
Popular center featuring a range of mineral pools, waterslides, saunas & an indoor botanical garden.
A very large relaxation center. It has an area with 6 saunas, massage, restaurant and small pools with beneficial water. An area with several pools, including an outdoor pool and pool bar. In addition, there is another restaurant with very good food and the price is good. And there is another area with slides, but it is full of children and there is not much space because of the slides. I recommend you take all 3 and all day because it is only 150 lei / person. I recommend this relaxation center!

We have visited other SPA facilities but Therme Bucuresti is among the best. The complex looks new and maintained. You can definitely spend a day here and you will relax a lot. For better experience and to avoid crowds, do not come in the weekend. Better come Friday early morning. The main pool is inside and outside the complex. If you go outside, it is warmed.

best therme I've ever been to.
so many saunas and pools.
we got a free massage, sauna ritual, a mask and a scrub there.
the toboggans are not that special but still very nice.
don't visit it in the weekends, gets really crowded.
a must visit when in Bucharest

I wasn’t ready. I was expecting a nice peaceful experience not a massive loud party with alcohol. (Which the drinks were really weak and small). I somehow missed those pictures in the ads.
The place is pretty. Very pretty. But chaotic and people taking 2300 pictures of themselves. They just clog up the stairs and other areas. There was no real hot water that we found. The saunas were nice. The restaurant in Palms was extremely good. We didn’t make it to galaxy. Couldn’t quite figure it out plus didn’t want more chaos.
Lockers are nice. They want women to have their hair up. I didn’t know and was immediately handed a hair band.
Decent value for entrance.
Not sure we will go back.

Amazing place! Great for relax and have fun. Love the experience every time...with or without children. There are saunas, sliders, good food, good drinks, outdoor areas, showers, massages, palms...everything is clean, the staff is polite but you have to respect rules that are made for yours and everyone else safety and confort. Love it!❤

Unique place, great service (food is also good and when you visit during the weekdays it's really calm)
Really clean and we'll maintained grounds. Water is nice and warm and if you go- make sure you take the whole day as the complex is big and 3-4h tickets will be a waste of money.
Prices are reasonable and even less than in the city center.
Definitely recommend and will come back again!
The only negative thing is that sometimes the bracelet is bugging and you cannot open your locker but we asked for help and the staff immediately changed it.

The best attraction in Bucharest! We had tons of fun there. The best part is the in-water bar. You use the band they give you to pay for everything. (They scan the band at the exit and you pay there)I recommend going in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset in the hot pools, We went on the weekend and it was very busy so if you can go in the middle of the week.

Okay people, I am rating this a 5 because of other pools that I have been.
1. You don't really need to buy tickets in advance, the queue is rather fast.
2. Do not come with slippers on our feet. Just take them with a towel. You just need clean slippers for the pool and that's all.
3. You get a closet and you can leave your belongings there. I left all my jewellery and phone.
4. It is clean.
5. We paid around 90€ for a family of 5.
6. I didn't have any issue with the staff, all quite nice.
7. I found a place to sit, and we came at 12:00 on a Saturday.
8. Go to the scrubs in the Saunas (check the schedule).
9. Food compared to the country where I live in, was super tasty and inexpensive.
Just chill and have a good day. My kids had a lot of fun.

I visited on 14.02.2024 for a friend birthday. Beautiful experience. if you're not there early enough to book treatment. For instance, specialist treatment or massages, you won't get a shot. you can't book it in advance. It's first come, first serve, basically. It is still worth a visit as there are lots of other things to do.

This therme are simply fantastic! We spent 8 hours in and you can't get bored. Every hour there are activities, from body scrub, face mask, cinema sauna, acquagym, slides, hydromassage bed, infrared sunbed, outdoor jacuzzi. The food is really tasty, lots of choices from Asian, traditional Romanian, burgers and the prices at the bar are really reasonable for cocktails, beers or fancy coffee.
Also it is super clean. Will come back again for sure!

The thermal baths in Bucharest are a must-visit for anyone looking for a luxurious and rejuvenating experience. The moment you step inside the facilities, you are enveloped in a serene and calming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and letting go of the stresses of daily life.
The baths are well-maintained, with spacious areas for lounging and comfortable seating, ensuring that you have all the room you need to fully relax. The staff are attentive and always on hand to assist with any needs, making your visit even more enjoyable.
One of the standout features of the thermal baths is the innovative payment system through the bracelet. This added level of convenience means that you don't have to worry about.

Absolutely amazing! This place is huge, the day went by so fast as there was so much to do. A lot of places to sit and chill, swim up pool bars, variety of different saunas and they do different sessions in them. The water parks were good for both adults and kids, and the food at the Asian restaurant was delicious! Deffo a visit when in Bucharest

Absolutely amazing!!!! My expectations were high but honestly it still managed to exceed them. It's very organised and clean and the space is very big and impressive. Each visitor gets their own locker room with a key where you leave your things and there are fitting rooms where you can change, showers and toilets. The swimming pool is both indoors and outdoors and it's absolutely wonderful! There's a bar and you can also get a cocktail while you're in the pool. It's pretty awesome. We went Friday around 8pm and while it was quite full, it wasn't annoyingly so. Just perfect. The water slides were probably our favourite thing, we spent half our time there, and it was absolutely worth it. Definitely a MUST visit if you're in Bucharest. Truly a lovely experience!

Such an amazing experience here, we were here for 10 hours !!! It cost us in English money around £28 for the full day. So easy with a band you wear and scan for drinks and food etc and then you pay on leaving. We hired a robe, and flip flops for 56 lei which is around £13 we did this as we only had under seat luggage on the flight so couldn't take our own. The only downfall is food, it wasn't very good, apart from some cake we had. It was cold and not warmed properly. However the beautiful pools, saunas and steam baths definitely make up for the food. I'd come back to Bucharest just for Therme, definitely worth a visit !!

It fills like paradise! We gone there for 3 hours but we stay for 5 it’s the perfect place to relax. It’s very cheep , you can drink some cocktails or beer or you can eat something. They have many cuisines! Saunas were perfect and the water slides also took my heart. I will visit again Bucharest just to go there!

Better in the winter , beautiful by night.Large warm areas , inside and outside.Has also food area (traditional , Asian , sushi , etc.).Drink service inside the pool.Big slides area (if crowded you have to wait the row maybe 10/15 min.
I would recommend to spend all the day there , there are too many areas to discover during the day.

Therme Bucharest is an amazing wellness centre, open for all the family! I went there on the 6th of April and I was very impressed with the variety of saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools and mineral pools that were available. There was also plenty of scrub rituals that went on frequently. You can also book massages, I'd recommend doing this online because when we trued to book it was sold out.
The restaurant was amazing! The food was really tasty! There are many bars both inside and outside of the pools.
The price was amazing overall and the fact that the centre is open from 9am to midnight makes it a whole day event. There is plenty of space and different types of lounges, day beds etc which I'd recommend choosing when you get there and leaving something on the lounger so no one else takes your spot for when you want to just relax.
Overall 10/10 I will be going back.

After reading the reviews here, I was quite hesitant to visit Therme. However, it turned out to be a really fun experience! I think you just need to know the rules and comply with them. As soon as you get to know the place, you feel relaxed. There are so many activities available. I recommend purchasing the full-day all zones ticket, which includes all information on their website. Make sure to go as early as possible, as it gets busy. I went on a Friday and arrived at 10:15, and it was fairly busy. Then, it got quite busy, especially the Palm area. I recommend reading and planning ahead, as it could be a bit intimidating at first to find lockers, programs, and activities.
Tips:
* If you're looking to book a massage, do it first thing, as it was fully booked for the entire day just after about an hour of opening time!
* Visit the Palm area first if you're after the slides; it's quite fun. However, it will get busy after a few hours.
* Try to visit on a weekday, Monday to Thursday; it's cheaper and apparently less busy.

The place looks lovely from the second you walk in. The pools were nice, especially outside in the cold weather as they were all perfectly heated. The food in the restaurant we ate in was lovely as well. The slides were ok and saunas were nice. The whole place was clean and there was staff everywhere if you needed help. The only lost star was because it’s hard to find a place to sit, everything was reserved by towels. We went in March on a mild sunny Sunday but I imagine if you come in summer it might get over crowded.

Booked in advance and was very straight forward to get our watches and tickets at reception. Staff were friendly throughout.
Amazing facilities and varieties of sessions.
It was so busy but lots of room especially at the bars.
Would recommend in a heart beat.

So crowded it’s almost impossible to actually relax! Great system to pay everything extra after the stay. The food at the restaurant is very good. Service at the bars in the pools is good and fast. A shame to wait to do everything, enter in a sauna or go down a slide!

After seeing a viral TikTok of this beautiful spa a spontaneous trip here made sense. The spa is relaxing, clean and vibrant. We went for a whole day, took a early morning flight from the UK to Bucharest and took the last flight the same day back home. There is a wide selection of food to choose from and numerous bars across the spa, so you won’t go hungry or thirsty. Also, they have numerous water slides which is great for children, so whether you want a relaxing time away from the children, or feel bad for leaving them at home they can come too. The sauna rooms are fantastic with various temperatures to choose from. Highly recommend coming to this place, with your partner, group of girlfriends or alone if you’re a solo traveller!
