A pathetic little place of old fashion nationalistic epos, reclaming the British Falkland Islands to be part of Argentine. Maybe Argentina should first start to use democracy to fight corruption and fight poverty. 8th biggest country on earth but greedy for some pinguin islands.

La Isla de los Inventos, located in a former train station in Rosario, is a must-visit for families traveling with kids. This imaginative space offers sculptural climbing structures, craft sessions, and hands-on learning stations where children can explore the sciences, arts, and technology. The venue also hosts shows, courses, presentations, and exhibits to engage young minds. Additionally, visitors can enjoy nearby beaches like Catalunya and La Florida for relaxation and snacks from vendors.
Wonderful place to take your small children. They can paint, aprons included, play theater, shape thin metal pieces, run and jump over all kind of structures, fill in shapes, look at old machines, all in a safe environment, which has joung teachers.
Thanks, City of Rosario, in the name of my Grandchildren.

Balneario La Florida, located on the Paraná River, offers a supervised beach where visitors can rent deck chairs and enjoy various sports like soccer and volleyball. The beach is accompanied by bars, cafes, and volleyball nets. Although the water may have a brownish color that may not suit everyone's preference, it is still possible to swim and take in the sun while being refreshed by the river breezes.
Great beach, lots of space, bars, food, volleyball nets, Kayaking and tunes pumping in the background. Thumbs up

It has some of the attractions the Parana River has to offer. Also it is more secure than other local beaches.
If you're not concerned so much about security you should consider taking a boat to cross the River.

It's a decent beach. The sand is clean, but the parts along the river are more muddy. The price is ok. It was around 100 pesos each. There are changing areas, bathrooms, and showers. The water seems clean enough.

The entrance is affordable, there is an optional one with video but we did not do it. Now, in the photographic museum there are no real photographs, they are photos printed on a sheet and not of the best quality. I say this for constructive purposes since if one goes to the museum the ideal would be to see the photograph.

(Translated by Google) Factory for making hand-blown glass.
Following the words of the guide who gave us the visit, this would be the only factory of its kind in the country.
The particularity of the establishment lies in the fact that the pieces are hand-blown by the workers. Although modern machines and technology are used, the heart of the work process, which is the blowing and molding of the pieces, is carried out completely manually.
A guided tour of the factory is recommended. It takes place on Saturday mornings. It is coordinated by the plant workers themselves.
An incredible space that you have the privilege of accessing. You can see the entire production process of the most varied fine blown glass artifacts.
There is close contact with a trade that has remained structurally the same for centuries.
Taking photos is allowed during the visit.
The plant has an administration building and show room with an extremely interesting aesthetic. A set of green ceramics on the outside and yellow on the inside make up an appreciable work of art.
A wide variety of glass pieces are displayed in the show room. It is possible to purchase these pieces in the sales section.

On Tuesday, October 30, 2023, with rain, our boys and girls went to the historic center with the hope of experiencing everything they had learned. Unfortunately we couldn't, we wanted to enter the Convent and a lady claiming to be the secretary forbade us to enter if we didn't pay one hundred pesos each!! We explained the situation to her, the reality of our students, and she responded that they were going to see on the cameras that she stole one hundred thousand pesos.
I think its theft was the worst of all, it robbed our children of the possibility of knowing part of our history. SHE DECIDED ALONE, SHE NEVER CONSULTED WHO IT WAS CORRESPONDING TO.
We left very sad!!

DECIDIÓ SOLA, NUNCA CONSULTÓ A QUIEN CORRESPONDÍA.
Nos fuimos muy tristes!!

I wonder how the tunnel director authorized the passage of the marathon in the afternoon, the peak moment of the return.
Not at all, as a runner, I am against the marathon and even less of this one in tribute to the Heroes of Malvinas, but the time to carry it out does not seem the best to me, given the traffic and the number of cars on the route.
In any case, I would like to ask you if it is technically advisable to pass a marathon through the tunnel, since I have heard that it is designed for the taxiing of vehicles but that the impact of the steps would not be the most appropriate.

Not as hot as I thought, only one swimmingpool working and remodeling... Hopefully it's gonna be better next time
Positive:
- the water of the pools is amazing. We chilled there for 3 days and it certainly helped out with some muscular probs that i had
- the sunset by the river. Breathtaking view
To improve:
- the place looks a bit run down. It is probably difficult to keep the place well maintained with some much salt/rust in the air, but still certain details could be looked into
- staff is friendly, but you see a lot of them sitting around the whole day with their phones. They could be used to look into those smaller details that could make this place even nicer

The National Pantheon of Heroes, a historic edifice nestled in the heart of downtown Asuncion, is a must-visit destination. It beckons you to explore the rich tapestry of Paraguayan history, with a plethora of notable figures interred within its cemetery-chapel, including luminaries such as Mariscal Lopez and Mariscal Estigarribia. The best part? Admission is entirely free.
As you approach this venerable institution, you'll invariably encounter two sentinels, steadfastly guarding its entrance. During my visit, I was fortunate to witness a changing of the guard, a ceremonious display of military precision and respect. It was a captivating experience that added depth to my visit.
For many years, the monument lay shrouded in mystery, often closed to the public due to either ongoing renovations or the shadow cast by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, during my decade-long sojourn in Paraguay, the opportunity to step inside had eluded me. Now, I can genuinely say I've savored the delight of this long-awaited visit.

The state government office Palacio de López is located in the heart of Asuncion, overlooking the bay. The neoclassical building was designed on orders from General Francisco Solano Lopez' uncle, Carlos Antonio Lopez, and was almost complete when Paraguayan troops fought alongside their Triple Alliance partners during the Paraguayan War (1864-1870).
Neoclassical palace that serves as the seat of government and workplace of the Paraguayan president. It was built by Carlos Antonio López, the leader of Paraguay from 1841 to 1862, to serve as a home for his son.
One should also come at night to see it lit up, and it is well-guarded.

The "Palacio López" (Lopez palace) is the seat of the Executive Branch of the Government of Paraguay. The building is located in the center of the city of Asunción, on "Paraguayo Independiente" street, between "Ayolas" and "O'Leary" streets, on the shores of Asunción Bay, a geographical feature corresponding to the Paraguay River. It was built in a neoclassical style with a certain "palladian" influence. The building began its construction in 1857, and was paralyzed by the outbreak of the War of the Triple Alliance. During the War, the City of Asunción was looted and bombed by the Triple Alliance, leaving the building in an inhospitable state. After a few years, the infrastructure was completed in 1867 and after many years of unstable politics, it was opened and used as the seat of government in 1892.

The notable street José Asunción Flores in at least 300 characters is a linear park separating a beach from a presidential palace. There are many ways to improve the area, but it's still worth checking out for anyone looking for a nice spot to hang out.

Chartering a river barge up the Amazon River, crossing one international border was easier than finding my way out of there - even harder getting in , but it’s all there once you figure it out.

Honestly a pretty and comfortable shopping to hang out and stuff. It has many fancy stores and a grand variety of dining places and, personally I enjoy going to the cinema. Basically, it's large and has lots of places to see and enjoy.

Paseo La Galería is the biggest shopping center in Paraguay, as far as I know. It has everything and it is very clean. The price point is a bit high for people but it is the same everywhere there are "international brands." It has also a cinema with a lot of choices of movies.
The only negative point is that I found the entrance unorganized as you need to pass through a restaurant area to get into the Paseo and you need to know that it is there because if not you will search for a long time.

The Shopping Center Paseo La Galera is undeniably one of the premier destinations in Asuncion. Boasting a myriad of amenities, it offers a nice cinema experience, accommodation options with its onsite hotel, ample parking facilities, and an impressive array of shops. From upscale brands like Saks and Monalisa to a diverse range of retailers, there's something to cater to every shopper's taste. Additionally, for tourists, the information desk provides a welcoming gesture with a 10% discount offer. Overall, Shopping Center Paseo La Galeria stands out as a comprehensive and inviting retail and entertainment hub in the heart of Asuncion."

Paseo la Galería is one of the biggest shopping centers in Asunción. It has all the common stores that you'd expect in any major shopping mall and a nice selection of various restaurants. The food park upstairs is also not bad if you're on a budget.
Large, tranquil lagoon with beaches, boating & nearby amenities like pubs & crafts for sale.
Is a place to entertainment 👌👌

I recommend to visit the church and go to the top of it, you can go there for less than a dollar and visit the roof, amazing view, also around it there is so much to see and take pictures, you will love and this is a very paraguyan thing to do and visit

Caacupé is just a small town but the basilica makes it really worth to visit. Beside that you have to know that on December 8 a high festival is placed there, where almost all Paraguayen came to Caacupe between the the first days of December until mid of December. Many people plan to visit the capital Asuncion and the waterfalls of Iguazú, for that you can stop for a moment in Caacupe as it is next to the highway 2 (Ruta 2) located and only 55 km from the capital away. If you want to stay in Caacupe there are 2 hotels to mention, one is just behind the basilica called hotel Asuncion and the other one is about 500 meters from the city away, so when you leave Caacupe on the right hand side you find hotel Alta Grazia if you are looking for more comfort.

Exercise caution when dealing with counterfeit merchandise. Familiarize yourself with the prevailing prices in your local area or online prior to visiting Shopping China Importados. Generally, prices are comparable, but opting for installment payments within Brazil can help you avoid foreign transaction taxes. Additionally, converting your funds into US dollars before shopping can lead to greater savings. It is advisable not to rely on credit cards at this establishment due to potential issues.

Employees often do not care much about you or are talking in parallel. That's the only apparent and recurrent defect. Despite this, great variety of products and promotions are that worth it, the temptation is great to the point of spending a great deal of money.

Be aware of fake items. Get to know the prices in the city you live or on the Internet before heading to Shopping China. Usually, prices will be the same but you can pay on installment in Brazil and avoid the IOF tax on foreign expenses. Furthermore, exchange your funds into US dollars before shopping. That way you will save more. Do not use your credit card!

The Hole of Araras Eco bird watching area is highly recommended for visitors who are interested in observing the vibrant scarlet macaws, which can be best viewed through binoculars or a high-quality camera with a powerful zoom. This extraordinary location features a 32-story deep hole, where one can also admire the presence of large alligators and anacondas. The scenery is breathtaking, showcasing an array of magnificent avian species such as Tucanos and Brazilian Parrots (Red Araras).
Very cool. Lots of the scarlet macaws. I would recomend binoculars or a very good camera with a super zoom. The hole is 32 stories deep and there are large gators and anacondas at the bottom to see too.

Visited in August 2023. We saw many couples of red arara's, along the edge, in the trees, and flying around. Beautiful sight!
Also saw some lizards and coati along the trail.
Our tour started at 10am, and the activity of the birds was already quieting down. Recommend to visit earlier in the morning.

The main attraction in Bonito, MS is the river Rio da Prata, which offers one of the best floating experiences in the area. Along with a 2.2 kilometer float and four-hour excursion, visitors can observe up to 59 different fish species and 65 species of herpetofauna. The Recanto Rio da Prata is the most famous destination for floating in Bonito, located in Jardim (MS).

Nice place to do snorkeling. There are many fishes. But not as much as I expect. The snorkeling tour is very long. I gave four star mostly because 1) they should offer free lockers 2) The guides are very in a hurry, so I cannot enjoy the snorkeling so much. I don't think it is the guides' fault, because the next group has to go on time. No English guide, so I have to ask others help. But in general, it is a nice place to go.

Speaking of the structure, it is super complete: there is transport to take us to the floating points, as well as we can get to know in depth how the farm works. Super friendly guide with extensive knowledge of the place. It's important to note that they are super organized: The tourist only provides the information once and it's all computerized, I thought it was great. The photos taken on the float are available (paid separately) at the end of the tour and through the computers you can select and purchase them. I definitely recommend it.

Crystal clear water with several species of fish. The floating route was carried out in two stages. The guide was very communicative and always interacting with the group. We also did the Lobo Guará trail, on a bike and guided by biker Márcio, who gave us the opportunity to contribute to reforestation by planting two native tree seedlings.
Lunch is simply delicious, everything on the wood stove, and with options for those who don't eat meat.
The dulce de leche is made right there, we saw the pot boiling before the trail, amazing
The place has horses, birds and a unique sunset
After lunch you can rest in leather hammocks or comfortable chairs in the garden

The Sucuri River Ecotourism is located in Bonito, MS, an area that has a rich history. There are many options to do while at the attraction including hiking, biking and horseback riding. The river is very transparent and there is plenty of time to see the fish and relax. It's one of the longest floating rides available and has good visibility so you can see the bottom of the river.
For adventure lovers that is the place to go. We had an amazing time on the Sucuri River Eco Tour! The water was crystal clear, and we were able to see all sorts of fish and plants up close.
Our guide Asa was unbelievable - he was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he made sure we had a great time.
He was also very good at pointing out the different plants and trees that we passed. He told us all about the different properties of the plants and how they are used by the local people.
We started the tour with a short hike through the rainforest to the source of the river. After that we floated down the river for about forty minutes. The water was a bit chilly at first, but we quickly warmed up. We saw all sorts of colorful fish.
Overall, we had a fantastic time on the Sucuri River Eco Tour. It was a great way to experience the beauty of the Bonito region and learn about its unique ecosystem. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bonito.

Our first experience in Bonito, we heard it was the third clearest river in the world, and I'm not sure how much clearer could it get, but you can see far in the distance, not that you need to, the fishes and the scenery are gorgeous to look at, from outsite or inside, BRING A WATERPROOF CAMERA WITH BATTERIES FULL!

The snorkle flotation down this river is beautiful. You are equipped with wet suits for the cold water. The first 10 minutes of the river has immense beauty however this bleeds of very quickly and the remaining 40 minutes or so is very ordinary like any other river bed. It was still worth the visit though it was slightly on the pricy side.

Great experience...the only complaint I had was the water temperature....lol ....it was cold! But if course, that's not the agency's fault.
Eliane M — Google review
If you can only do one flotation expirence in Bonito I would recommend this one. The river flows at a perfect pace so you don't need to swim at all. The river has a good mix of plants, white sands and rocky sections with an average depth of 1-3 meters. Meaning the sediment dosent get stirred up by other swimmers. Supposedly there are small river otters and of course anacondas but we did not have the pleasure to see them. But the fish were the biggest overall that I saw this trip.
James Buckley — Google review
