The top stops along the way from Barranquilla to Zipaquira (with short detours) are Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Pozos Azules, and Playa Blanca. Other popular stops include Museo del Caribe, Gabriel García Márquez, Villa de Leyva Main Square, and Panachi's Restaurante.
Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona is a magnificent natural park in Colombia, featuring a stunning coastline of palm-fringed beaches and lush mountains. The area also boasts pre-Hispanic ruins, adding historical significance to the picturesque environment. Accessible only by foot, horseback or boat due to the steep mountain terrain blocking off the main road, this national park provides an exciting but sometimes challenging experience for visitors.
Amazing experience. I went in a rainfall season so I couldn’t dive into the waters and the path was muddy and savage to cross. And I say that as positive, if you enjoy some randonné yourself, this is the perfect place near Santa Marta. You’ll find yourself with other tourists and a feeling of safety during your walk. Also be prepared to meet Colombia’s mangrove swamps, just be sure to not have cuts on your feet and to clean them properly after your walk. There is also a selection of treetop bungalows and a camping area to stay the night.

After a long drive to get there it was worth the wait. Going on the boat to the beach was fun. Once we got there the views were spectacular. If you don't like fish to eat then you very limited. The local sweets and drinks were very good. Had a great time here

Tayrona park was an amazing experience. It has magnificent views throughout the Path and is definitely worth visiting. Just be mindful of s few things. It's very warm and 2h30 walking each way, so go prepared! It is about 100 pesos per person and you can pay an extra to park the car inside the park. Bring cash since many places, including washrooms, reqyire cash.

Gorgeous and a must see!
Did the 5 mile hike to Cabo San Juan to camp in the tents off the beach, and it was absolutely worth it.

Great place, amazing nature, stunning beaches. We saw a lot of trash tho maybe because there weren't many trash bins (of course this doesn't mean to throw the trash in the nature). The trekking is not good signaled so be sure to ask other people when not sure for the way.
Magdalena Boneva — Google review
Such an amazing place, if you are in Colombia make your way to see Tayrona. We did the walking through the jungle which is a route of roughly 15 km to and return Cabo San Juan. You might spot monkeys, rare birds and the trip is quite unique, but you need to be able to climb and proceed through mixed terrain.
Buy water before entering. You can take a bus from the park entrance and to the trail start, which spares you 20 minutes walking on concrete. It cost around 10.000 pesos.
Phillip Hansen — Google review
Large natural park with amazing scenery and beaches. Bring cash for entry (more for foreigners), boat trips to the nice beaches, and any food and drinks while you’re there. Get a “tent” so you have shade.

Beautiful and well organized park, it is point you should see but…. extremely crowded during Xmas and new year (Columbian holidays). Despite you must be ready for walk elbow to elbow it’s worth to go!

I do not recommend it at this time.
This place, apart from being a beautiful reserve, is currently in very poor condition for access to the beaches and other activities, the rains have turned the access roads into mud, we were all desperate to get out of there as soon as possible, the mud reached us half a leg and many tourists choose to rent horses to be able to move forward and this makes everything even worse,
only 30% of the roads are made of wood, the rest of the access is through very narrow stones, dirt roads, streams, and areas of much vegetation with almost no access, food is expensive, and it is not safe for older adults or infants, there is no assistance in case of emergencies during the walk and you have to buy insurance worth 5000 Colombian pesos and I only saw 2 people supposed to help at the beginning and almost at the end of the trail.
Patricia Gutierrez — Google review
Beautiful place, gorgeous beaches and a must go for hikers, for newcomers please keep and eye on the signs and DO NOT go into the turtle beaches, as people walk they compress the sand and when baby turtles hatch they are unable to reach the surface and die.

Amazing place!!! Lot of hiking trails and lot of wonderful beaches. You can see all sorts of wildlife here! But be careful the weather is most of the time very hot and humid here! (Crocs on the beach are possible)

Beautiful place, love it. It's been my 3rd time in this park and everything was just perfect. Did a boat trip from Santa Marta to get to the park and on a way back we did a hike. Amazing experience. Highly recommend

Awesome beaches and wildlife but this National Park is not well maintained and managed: rest area used by vendors to sell stuff, horse feces on the trail, garbage on the trail, vandalized signs, coconut leftovers everywhere on the trail, few trash cans available, paying bathrooms.
To the park management:
- This park is a top spot in Colombia , but it gives a bad image if compared to other top international natural parks.
- Serious waste management is needed
- Vendors should have a delimited activity area
- Only natural elements should be used for construction
- Horseriding should only occur on a dedicated path
- Signs should be repainted

Tayrona National Park in Colombia is a breathtaking natural haven, boasting stunning landscapes and pristine beaches. Its beauty lies not only in the crystal-clear waters but also in the rich biodiversity and lush greenery that make it a true paradise for nature enthusiasts. A visit to Tayrona promises a serene escape, allowing you to connect with the raw, untouched beauty of the Colombian coast.

7km hike to Cabo San Juan. About 75-80m elevation. Most ups and downs at the start. Bring hiking shoes. Not wet in January. Closed at certain times of year. Took 6am bus from mercado publico and it cost 9000 cop and took 1 hour. Got in for free to tayrona im not sure why.
Playa Grande in Taganga is an energetic ocean cove with calm waters, perfect for snorkeling and boat rides. It's a great alternative to the crowded waterfront beach in Taganga. To avoid crowds, it's best to arrive early in the morning as it gets busier later on. The beach offers clear water and a sandy bottom, with space to leave belongings without needing to rent chairs.
a place for families and friends, bars, meals, water attractions on site. possibility of getting a place with chairs in the shade. This is not a place for those who love peace and quiet, but a few steps from the Grande beach there are wild and peaceful beaches.
RAdoslaw Dąbrowski mail prywatny — Google review
The beach itself is nice (not spectacular, but nice anyway) and has potential. The biggest issue is that there is GARBAGE EVERYWHERE, specially all along the foot paths to go to the “secret beaches” that are 10-20 min away by foot. Another issue is that the entire beach has been occupied by people renting chairs—the problem is that they are seating plastic chairs, not sunbeds, so you won’t be able to lie down and relax—only sit.
Jaime C?rdenas Castro — Google review
"Nice quite and idyllic beach" I read somewhere. Well, not really. The trail from Taganga to the beach is full of garbage and the beach is extremely overcrowded. What a disappointment ☹
Gerard Haak — Google review
Typical tourist trap beach. Pay for a boat ride to a secluded beach, get there and find 20 clapped out overloaded boats taking people there in shifts, beach is covered by hundreds of plastic chairs for rent, people trying to sell you things, they charge you to use the bathroom, stray dogs, they have one garbage can on the beach which nobody uses. Still trying to find a beach here where you aren't harassed or nickel-and-dimed constantly. This place is nothing like the photos.
Cro Magnon — Google review
Playa Grande in Taganga, Colombia, is a hidden beach gem. With its golden sands, clear waters, and serene atmosphere, it's a tranquil escape with a touch of local charm. Accessible by a short hike or boat ride, it's a must-visit for nature lovers. This hidden paradise is waiting for you to discover.
Erio Cirelli — Google review
The beach is very busy and dirty, also all the restaurant practice price fixing ensuring that all the prices are the same offering overpriced drinks and food. We purchased boat tickets from Taganda from which they said includes seating chairs, when we arrived the lady tried to charge 100,000 COP for one chair. We laughed in her face and walked two seconds across to another lady who charged us 6000 COP. The lady that tries to scam us worked at Estadero Pexdorado. I don't recommend the beach, the pictures show what it looked at from my seat on a Thursday afternoon.
Jalal Shabo — Google review
The beach itself is beautiful, but it is dirty, with plastic debris floating, more merchants than visitors, they have filled the beach with chairs and there is no room to lie down. They harass you all the time offering you things to buy and kayak rides. Even in the water they continue to offer you things, they pass by in kayaks trying to sell you rides.
Avoid at all costs.
Eduardo Messuti — Google review
Good beach, crowded, but has coco loco snd jet ski, also can snorkel near by, over all good beach
Mantas Svetlauskas — Google review
Be really careful when walking there, we got robbed by two teenagers with a knife at 10am in the morning… Don’t take belongings with you and rather take a boat to get there. The beach is absolutely not worth it to take the risk.
Mathias AJ — Google review
Love it! The beach is very enjoyable with clear water and sandy bottom. There’s a space to leave our belongings without hiring any plastic chairs. Yes, it’s crowded even on weekdays and the seating area could be too loud, but it’s a great place if you like to stay in the water most of the time. Only around 15-20 mins easy hike from Taganga beach.
Shintya Felicitas — Google review
The worst beach I have ever been. It's a tiny strip of sand with some plastic chairs and people bothering you constantly. It's not like any beach I've been to before and would recommend tourists really not to bother visiting.
Leigh Connelly — Google review
Another good option to visit make sure to take the complete tour river in the morning and beach in the afternoon! You'll thank me later!!
10tro MN — Google review
A very nice beach alternative to the one on the Taganga waterfront. If you dislike crowds, you'll have to get there very early (8 or 9 am) if you want most of the beach to yourself. But the crowds start coming in earnest as the morning progresses, so if you don't want to be in a crowd of people you'll be looking to leave by noon at the latest. In the pictures I provide you'll see Playa Grande when there are masses of people, and when it is early in the morning for comparison.
Check out my blog post on how to get here (see URL in photos), as well as other beaches, in the Taganga area without having to pay for a boat shuttle! It is a nice hike.
Mark Sugalski — Google review
Too many people, too much boats 🚤…don’t waste your time and money. Go to another beach. This one is cheaper go get, only 15000 round trip by boat. You can buy a ticket in Taganga beach.

What a nice place, if you want to leave your rutine behind, at least for a day, this is the best place to be, you can find, hike, sand, beach, beers, dance, nature, great people and a very beatiful place that will make you feel so relax, you wont remember home, i highly recommend this place... It is a must in Sta Marta !
Ciudad Perdida Teyuna, also known as the Lost City Trek, is a challenging yet rewarding adventure in Santa Marta. This ancient Inca ruin, older than Machu Picchu and nestled high in the Sierra Nevada mountains, requires at least four days of hiking through the jungle. The trek offers well-organized infrastructure with comfortable camps and quality food supplies.
Let me tell you, Teyuna Tours is the best tour company to go with when hiking the Lost City. The thing that sets this tour company apart is their guides and their employees. Miguel was the greatest guide that I've had the opportunity to spend time with. His wealth of knowledge and his conversations made this memorable trek into a trek that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The other staff such as their cook and their driver were also fantastic who made sure that every possible need was taken care of.
If you want to book a Lost City tour, I highly recommend this tour company and ask for Miguel to be your guide, he is above and beyond the best guide out there!
Sincerely,
Capitan Joe

This company was excellent. Very helpful and organised and good vehicles. The guides are indigenous to the area which makes a difference as they are known in the villages and you can meet the Shaman if you like. We saw other treks giving sweets to kids and not being so respectful with photography. This is a very sensitive area for tourism as people are living as they have for 1000's of years in the mountains. Great time, hard walking for sure. The distances are more then the chart says as it's 'as the crow flies'! Our guides were Luis, Andres, Jonathan (chef very good food) and Ruth. Thanks to you all

We did the 4 days trek with Teyuna to the Lost City. It was a challenge, but definitely worth it. The infrastructure of the camps and the food supplies are way better than we expected it from a 4 day Jungle Hike. We felt safe at any time. Our guides Carlos and Juan did an amazing job about guiding us safely through the jungle and telling us the history about the Lost City and the indigenous people. Also our chef Carlos did a great job in serving our needs. They made this trek an experience we will never forget! When you're in columbia for hiking and nature then the Lost City Trek with Teyuna is a must!

Had an amazing birthday trek to the Lost City in La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta with my mom and brother, and going with Teyuna as our guides was the best decision ever! The views, history, and whole experience were incredible, but what really stood out was the fantastic service from our guides.
Teyuna's crew was not just professional but also super friendly and considerate, especially since we were the slowest and oldest in the group. They kept us motivated and never made us feel left behind, making the journey enjoyable. Big thanks to the chef and kitchen team as well – the food was absolutely delicious and added a special touch to our adventure. Accommodations were rustic but clean and cozy.
And can I just say, the birthday cake surprise at the end was the sweetest gesture!
Overall, this trek is a must-do – safe, enjoyable, and with tasty treats along the way. Highly recommend for an unforgettable adventure! 🌄🎂 (this review should’ve been done 7 months ago… but better late than never 🙈)

A trip to The Lost City with the Teyuna Tours agency was an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. Our guides Hernan (native speaker) and Niko (translator) were great companions throughout the trip, they were friendly, funny, helpful and they provided us many many informations about the trip, the life of the local people and everything related to the area. The food made by our Chef Isodro was varied and delicious for the whole time. The food was supplemented with the fruit at the breaks during the trip.
The guys in the office were very friendly and helpful too, it’s possible to store your luggage here during the trip. For the fee of 100K pesos, you can rent two trekking poles + 20 litres bag (definitely worth it!). You can find all the necessary informations on their web pages, which are very well composed.
About camps: There is the free filtered water available or you can buy something at the stands during the trip (water, fizzy drinks, beer, some snacks). The accommodations are the same for all the agencies, it was basic but sufficient, according to the kind of the trip (the only minus – in the third camp Paraíso, the mosquito nets were very smelly).
In general, the experience with the tour was beyond our expecations. We were very lucky and the whole group of “Teyuna Family” was great and all the people there will stay in our hearts forever!!!! ❤❤❤

Teyuna Tours were absolutely perfect! Jeison our guide, Fabian our translator and Alberto the chef were incredible. So attentive, accomodating to our dietary restrictions (gluten free/vegan) and full of knowledge of the history and indigenous communities and really enjoy their job. They made this already incredible experience so memorable. It’s not an easy trek, but extremely doable in 4 days, and the Lost City is pure magic. Don’t even look further when booking a company - these guys have planned it out meticulously.

We were completely blown away by the trip. Not only a fantastic experience, but the guides and interpreters Jura, Juan and luis made it extra special. They were very nice, engaged and informative. They really went the extra mile and it made a huge difference for the whole trip. Our only advice, bring a stash of toilet paper. It was pretty scarce on the trip.

Okay so to start it off, I hike a lot in Canada, and found this hike challenging so come prepared!!! The hike is a wet one (humidity) (I brought cotton and it was soaked every day and never fully dried), also chunklas are a must for the camps. The hike was wonderful and beautiful at every turn, I would recommend getting acclimatized to be heat if your from a cold climate cause this baddie was 🥵. Bring bug spray (strong deet) and have some handy in a lil pocket cause the little mosquitos don't play around. Also this trip was one of the best trips of my life I would recommend it anyone who even vaguely enjoys type two fun I'd say it's a must do, everyone was amazing in our group and so happy to help each other:). The best part of the trip though was how wonderful MIGUEL (our guide) was. He was so knowledgeable about everything and was always happy to teach us about the history of the area and the wildlife. He also taught us about the indigenous people in the area currently! With Miguel I never felt scared or unsafe the entire trip thanks to good communication and reassurance that we could do it. Miguel was always willing to make time for us and ontop of that he is a fantastic story teller who took pride and joy in every aspect of his job. Over all this will probably be one of the best experiences of my life. Also there's soo many people doing the hike and they were all hiking at different places so don't worry about being slow and remember to enjoy the nature and the connection you'll make with people along the way. Also I have servers allergies and they were more than happy to accommodate my needs where possible with some notice.

Hiking to Teyuna in the Sierra Nevada was an unforgettable experience. Truly unique. Our guide Micael was super knowledgeable of the area and our translator Nico was super helpful and fun, really made the whole experience so enjoyable. Deivi, our cook was also great and made us nice food for every meal and made sure we didn’t starve! Everything was carefully planned, and it made the hike seamless and enjoyable.
The only downside was the price I would say which is quite high!
Marie-Anne Roche — Google review
I felt like we had the best tour guides of all the tours I saw going up. Truly they were well organized, took good care of us, the food was abundant, and their general attitude was positive towards their customers , the land, the indigenous people, and their staff.

First of all i am very happy that i decided to go with Teyuna Tours to the lost city.
From the communication before, the pickup and the whole service everything was organized perfectly.
A few points to highlight:
- A pickup is possible without a surcharge also from other places arround (in my case Minca)
- Luggage can be stored at the office during the hike
- Our guides Luis and Jesus („Buffalo“) were excellent and taking very good care during the hike and made everybody feel safe. Also Luis provided a lot of infos in the evening about the history and the indigenous people of the area and shared a lot of his experiences
- The kitchen team (Yulieris) did their absolute best to serve a good breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
- Our group had 10 people, the max amount seems to be 15.
What you should know before doing the hike:
- An intermediate level of fitness is recommended if you want to have fun
- Proper hiking or trekking shoes and outdoor/sports clothing are definetely recommend (needs to be fast drying)
- Accomodations are simple bunk beds (but clean and fairly new), pillows and blankets were provided.
- Dietary requirements can be arranged, ideally discuss it in advance so the team can prepare for it.
Overall i can recommend doing the tour to the lost city with Teyuna Tours.

Wowowow amazing trek!! We had perfect weather and very little other groups out as well. Maybe 60 people at the ruins our day. The food along the way was hit or miss. One night there was a tuna pasta that was almost inedible. But the other meals were passable. The best was the fried whole fish the first night. I would recommend bringing some snacks if you want something healthy. The tiendas sell most chips and junk candy bars. There is always water and Gatorade and beer to buy along the way so you will never need to over carry supplies in your pack. Definitely buy the banana cake on the second to last store on the first day hike. Swimming daily in the river was a life saver!!
kim walker — Google review
I highly recommend booking a Lost City trek through Teyuna tours. From the communication prior to the trek all the way until dropping us at our hostel after the trek, the experience was organized and enjoyable.
I had never done a multi-day trek like this, but I felt well taken care of by our guide Pedro and Interpreter Andres. They provided interesting info and personal stories along the way and took good care of us in the camps. The food and camps were better than I would have expected and had all the essentials to help you rest and recharge for the next day of the trek.
We lucked out and had great weather at the beginning of February with only a little rain. Even a little rain can generate quite a bit of mud on the trail, so be prepared for the worst and look at the packing recommendations Teyuna Tours provides.
The trek itself was difficult but not too challenging. There are lots of ups and downs, so the cumulative elevation change was more than I would have guessed. It’s doable for anyone in good shape, and the guides were good to accommodate people going at different speeds.
The lost city itself was breathtaking. You have several hours in the city that make the long journey very rewarding. Thank you Pedro and Andres for an unforgettable experience!

I had an amazing experience doing this trek! The staff were so friendly and helpful! Despite being in the middle of the jungle we were hosted as kings. They went above and beyond to make this experience as authentic and comfortable as possible! I loved it and would highly recommend it! We had the privilege of being led by Jon who has some incredible stories to tell! Book it now! And do some fitness workout until then!

Los Novios Santa Marta Park is the go-to spot for lively nightlife in the historic city of Santa Marta. With a variety of restaurants and bars, it's the perfect place to spend an evening exploring the city's sights and sounds.
Great park in the city. This is my go-to place in Santa Marta when I want to party or just enjoy people-watching over some drinks at a streetside bar. Very colorful and interesting and a place I keep coming back to. A must-visit for anyone coming to Santa Marta, even if it's just to have a walk around it.

It would be nice if you weren’t harassed by every single person to buy something. My friends were literally afraid to go down most streets at night and they are Colombian. I wasn’t afraid but there wasn’t any savory people to interact with. Most people just stare at you or ask for money or just look like they may rob you. I wouldn’t come here alone.

An amazing park/area in the Centro Histórico part of Santa Marta. Surrounding the main park, there are a LOT of good restaurants, bars and discotecas. At night, the place becomes EXTREMELY LIVELY, especially on weekends.

Beutifull facades, one block from "El malecón" (seaside park), and two blocks from parque Simon Bolivar, also worth visiting, in this park is the Gold Museum and La Alcaldía.

BE VERY CAREFUL. There are women who solicit and men they work with who will target you especially as foreigners. I’ve seen them following many people especially people who seem drunk and chatting them up. Even when you ignore them or say no many times they follow you and try to get close or touch you then pickpocket you. I’ve caught them in the act. If you decline them they ask for help to get some food and then wait to rob you there. I fell into this trap and bought them hamburgers then had to literally had to fight off 3 of them at the same time when they tried to snatch my wallet and phone. I went back to take pictures so you can be aware.

Parque de los Novios is a great place to people watch, dine in the mini restaurants nearby, grab a drink and walk while checking out the street performances. There are lots of police around so it feels safe. They are also mini benches but some of the bars are missing. All I enjoy walking by here in the evening or early mornings for exercise. When it rains everyone gathers underneath the shelter and it’s very cute. You can also find people selling beer and ice cream. But overall my favorite are the street performers.

Parque de los Novios was a beautiful experience in Santa Marta, Colombia. During the day there are friendly vendors, lots to see while you walk around and it great for families. Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, a colonial hacienda dating back to the XVII century, is known for being revolutionary leader Simon Bolivar's final residence. Today, it operates as an open museum featuring art from the countries he helped free and a botanical garden. Visitors can take guided tours of the former hacienda, where they can view Bolivar's bed and personal items at the time of his death in 1830.
This is an important place for the Latin American history. The prices are fine and the tour guide is very good, they have students well versed in the history and they are super nice. Our guide was Zaid and he showed us the house and the amazing details of this place. Come and leave a nice tip!

Must-do visit if you are in Santa Marta and would like to learn more about Colombian history. Here is where Simon Bolivar died. The landscape is sublime and beautifully maintained. The guided tour is friendly and perfect to get all the little details about what happened at this place back in the 1800’s. A lot of tourists from cruises come here so the place is full with dancers and activities to showcase the Caribbean culture. Great family trip!

Impressive area with lots to see. A single ticket of 23,000 COP gives you access to Bolivar’s shrine, a museum, contemporary art museum, and the hacienda of Bolivar. Coffee shop could be better.

Be ready to sweat and be hot, other than that; beautiful place with a lot of history. You’ll be walking the same ground slaves walked hundreds of years ago, you can almost feel their pain. The same ground goes for the ground Simon Bolivar walked. What an experience. Easter egg: people from that time were very very short and big headed, you’ll see.

Poor maintenance old and abandoned structures. Signs are broken and sometimes warned out. Its a shame that the country's most prized founder is neglected. Its a botanical garden of weeds and nothing more. Main structure was painted and it seemed they just threw the paint because its all over the floors. Outsiders pay more than locals so be aware. Its almost the country's founding aniversary and nothing done to look its best. Shame.
Eric Rivera — Google review
Tour felt a little rushed but to be fair, I arrived near closing time. The humidity was high and the speed walking made it feel more like a light exercise than a tour. I would recommend arriving several hours before closing time, wearing comfortable breathable fabrics, as well as comfortable shoes. The space that you cover isn't that big, so you can take in the entire experience in an hour.
Hector Corporan — Google review
Good preserved buildings and monuments about the death of Simon Bolivar, however the botanical garden is not taken care and therefore looks bad. A guided tour is available and also quite good, possible in Spanish and English.
Lars Witte — Google review
It says botanic garden, but at the end nobody explain anything about the plants or the animals in the place.
You can have a guide, they are students and you give them the tip you considered fair for their work. Thay talk about the history of the house, their owners and the last day of Simón Bolivar there.
I think they could have more information but is it still a good information they give.
Candy Tellez — Google review
It’s a lovely historical place, good for a quick exploration but the museum was empty/closed for reasons unknown. The grounds were a bit untidy and they had no English speaking guides at all. I do acknowledge that we are in a Spanish speaking country BUT I feel like it’s good practice to have at least one English speaking guide at tourist/historical sites like these :)

A historic place that includes a free guide with the ticket just make sure to tip them. A mix of a botanical garden, a bit of art and a tribute to the last days of the man Who was the liberator of America, Don Simon Bolívar. Make sure to wear light clothe since is Hot at least on January there is a café área where you can buy drinks and ice cream.

Totally worth the little trip outside the city, and the free guide are really nice people and very knowledgeable. The place isn’t very well maintained for being such an important site for Colombia with the monumento a la patria. Everybody should come here!

Spanish-built castle on a hill completed in 1848, now housing an upscale restaurant with sea views.
Gorgeous place, the best view around the Salgar (Barranquilla) area, it left me speechless. I went at almost sunset and the view left me amazed, also you get to breathe pure air. I think it’s a please to go, enjoy, sit, have a chat, reflect or do anything that brings you peace. Plus, it doesn’t have an entry fee and there’s free parking too. Loved it!
Nicolas Quiroga — Google review
Open area outside for great pictures even when the restaurants are closed. There is parking with a security guard.
John-Paul Rojas — Google review
I think the story behind this place is amazing. I didn't get into the castle because I was not sure if could, however exploring outside was a good experience not because of the place itself but because of the history, I was just walking around whilst I was imagining everything, the boats, enormous ships arriving and departing, soldier cannons and a big etcetera.

It is a shame that the castle isn’t open to the public, still it is a great place to visit in the evening after 4 PM and to watch the sunset. It is incredibly windy and peaceful. There is parking on site and on Saturdays after 4 PM there are some street vendors selling sodas and snow cones.
Vannesa Sheppard — Google review
It's a beautiful and historically important site in the department, it was being managed by Comfamiliar and it was a popular venue for weddings and all kinds of events. However, it's currently abandoned but you can still go and take nice pictures. There's no fee but you can voluntarily tip the guard and park your car.
Estefania Diaz — Google review
It is closed for now but you can enjoy the landscape. There is a restoration inside the building. The landscape is amazing from this height.

One of the best places I have visited lately. Use to go there when I was a kid. Today, the magnificent view of the ocean still intact. A great place to spent a vacation.
Yumbell Donado — Google review
Worth a stop just for the ocean views provided, really stunning. The cliffs give an amazing view of the ocean and waves crashing on the shore. It's really windy at the castle, and you can feel and taste the salt spray on windy days.
If you have little children, keep them close as the access to the cliff is unguarded and could be quite dangerous for unsupervised small children.
The castle is being converted to a mall and is not presently open. If it does open, would be an amazing venue for the views alone.
Highly recommend seeing the castle. The entrance is gated, but admission is free.

Park-like zoo featuring open-air displays of animals including lions, elephants, flamingos & more.
This is a good one! Great place to spend the day. Fair amount of animals, clean, good ice cream shop! Overall good for kids or just a fun romantic day!

It is a great zoo even though it is small. My family loved every part of it and you feel really close to the animals... because you are! I would recommend it especially because of the great pricing. The only negative is not much food is available. There are several kiosks throughout the zoo but some are closed since the pandemic.
Best time to go (at least for us)... Between 1:30 and 2:00. It was empty the last 2 times we went!

Amazing selection for an in city zoo, the animals for most part look healthy, some of the cages are too small in my opinion (no aminmal should be caged) we actually brought tickets to what we thought was an illumination sho, didn't realise it was at the zoo at the time which was a pleasent surprize.

Small zoo, needs more funding unfortunately. Still it's an okay zoo for a couple hours if the heat and humiditydoesn't get you first. Some enclosures like the lions and elephant are a bit small to be honest. Although they all look well fed
Diego Romero — Google review
Looking at a depressed harpy Eagle in a tiny cage was personally very tough for me to see.
They had a depressed black eagle there also.
Any bird in a cage is sad to see, they should let them go imho.
They instead should focus on smaller creatures from there like tarantulas and spiders and, small snakes etc.
big animals take up lots of space and they only tend to hide away anyway.
Had everything there to make an incredible zoo if they thought it through a little bit more.
corey kernan — Google review
I attended the zoo today and it was a an informative experience and saw animals that I never even heard of however I understand this is a nonprofit but the conditions are not well for small or big animals for example the African elephant, the tiger, alligator enclosure and many others. Even if it is a nonprofit, It shouldn’t mean that the animals should not have their Water bowl empty and food bowl empty at 10 AM when they open at 8 AM… A few of the enclosures for the animals are very small and you can see the small and big animals pacing in distress. A few of the animals for example the ostriches are under veterinarian care however although the sign says they are on medication, these ostriches should be kept apart, under shade, and perhaps bandages to prevent the ostriches from picking at their wounds. You can even see groups of mosquitoes picking at the animals..Although i enjoyed seeing animals I never thought I would see, I in general do not like zoos and this definitely emphasized that I will never visit a zoo again.
I will forever keep these animals in my thoughts and hope as terrible as it sounds that they pass away soon and peacefully because no animal should live like this. I think the people who work here do care about the animals and like I said I understand it is a nonprofit but there Has to be assistance out there and the enclosures should be kept in better conditions.
Vane L (finessaa96) — Google review
There is a lot of room for improvement.
It does look better than 4 years ago when i visited last time, but animals are looking sad and alone.
Children came excited and we're getting more and more sad as we went through the zoo. Animals could benefit so much from enriched environment, but there is a severe lack of it! Not to mention broken glass at the otter enclosure..
Also, I would give -5* for the prehistoric "website" where you can't open some things at all, can't buy tickets or arrange for the guided tour , and for the lack of possibility to arrange a visit over the phone (especially if you have a big group of children).

The Catedral Metropolitana María Reina de Barranquilla is a contemporary Catholic cathedral in Barranquilla, Colombia. It was designed by Italian architect Angelo Mazzoni Grande and took 27 years to build. The cathedral features an impressive sculpture called "El Cristo Liberador de America Latina" by renowned Colombian artist Rodrigo Arenas. Spacious museum featuring exhibits that explore Colombia's Caribbean geography, culture & history.
This was my 2nd time going to the museum. I got there the first time with who is now my husband and later with my dad and niece.
The museum is really nice. It has a huge selection of indigenous things.
My niece also had a great time although she would get anxious and wanted to leave the floors after 15 minutes of been there.
My dad really enjoyed it a lot. He said he will go any other day by himself so he can spend the time reading everything and watching all the videos that the museum offers.
This place is fantastic. It has a private parking and also easy way to get there using public transportation.
Oh I almost forgot. I also saw a group that was been toured by a guide in English. So if you don't speak Spanish there are guides that will teach you in English 😉
Diana Olivares — Google review
Definitely worth seeing (it's located in a bit sketchy area from what I've heard), lots of interesting knowledge of the region, some of the staff speaks English (to some degree, but they really give their best!)
majority of the recordings is in Spanish (if you don't speak Spanish, audio set is available and strongly recommended!)
Overall a nice place to visit!
There is a little nice walk by the entrance to the museum too
It's located nearby train station and there is a taxi parking at the shopping mall nearby
You can buy the ticket by the entrance to the museum

Museum del Caribe is closed and abandoned. I made the trip there without knowing that it is not operating. There was no information in any website or guide. Please don't go to Barranquilla if the reason is to visit this museum that was described as a high tech museum in cultural trip web site.
Chryssa K — Google review
It isn't as English-friendly as I thought it would be. All of the floors are in Spanish, and we speak intermediate. Difficult for kids with a lower level Spanish, though. The gift shop was reasonably priced, but they could have so much more to offer. On the bottom floor of the museum is Music/Expression. Very cleverly put together and needs no translation.
Angelynn Ballew — Google review
I imagined it was going to be a bigger museum, with more artifacts, more indigenous things, etc. There are many videos to watch, which I can watch on "History Channel". The museum is very dark, the stairs don't have enough light, don't have a yellow stripe to see clearly where they start.
The best thing about the museum was the 1st floor where there is a musical presentation with various musical instruments. All signs are Spanish which means that foreigners must go with a guide. The museum did not meet my expectations
Maria Scozzari — Google review
It’s hard to give it a fair rating as it is closed until March 2020. Our taxi driver told us several other museums would be closed but not this one... Also the Modern Art gallery next door is still being built - at least a year away from completion looking at it. You are in the “dodgy” end of town and we have visited this area several times and everybody is constantly telling you to be careful.
Charlie W — Google review
We were disappointed when we found out that there was nothing in English. No one in the counter told us this even tough we clearly didn't speak Spanish. It's a pity as it's one of the most popular sightseeings in Barranquilla. They didn't accept credit card which is a bit strange in the world nowadays. The music video show in the first floor was entertaining and all we got from this museum.

Las Gachas is a hidden gem off the beaten path, featuring a shallow river with circular pools of varying depths formed by natural water erosion. The red rocks and clear waters resemble the famous Cano Cristales without the tourist crowds. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the water holes, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Accessible via an alternative route and a 30-minute walk from Guadalupe town, this spot offers clean, cold water to cool off in the hot weather.
Great natural place near to Guadalupe town. You have to take an alternative route before you enter to the town, and drive through it for about 5 minutes, then you park the car and you have to walk for about 30 minutes to arrive to the point. There is the place in a shallow river with a holes on the floor where you can see the water coming into that holes. Some of them are very deep but the most in not more than 1.60 mts proof. Water is clean and cold, but weather is usually hot.

One of the best experiences in my life! this place is absolutely beautiful and fun. We stayed in a cabin near by Las Gachas booked in Airbnb. We arrived very early when nobody was there and it was the most peaceful experience. Swimming in the water holes are too much fun. At midday you’ll see a lot of vendors selling beer and traditional lunch specials. Be careful with the sun because it burns as hell. Make sure to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Hoping to come here with more family any time soon!

Wonderful spot. Unique place on earth. Beautiful colors and cool waters to soak in. The short hike to the river is not strenuous, but remember you are pretty high up, so us sea level people do have a bit of struggle due to altitude. Las Gachas is somewhat off the beaten track and has challenges to get there, but one you do, it is so amazing. Well worth the effort to get here.

Very nice and fun. But the water its a little dirty.
I recommend going through the private entrance, because even tho you have to pay, it’s 30 minute less walk.
I also recommend going till the end of the river to see the cave at the other private house. It was my favorite part of the trip and the lady there was very friendly.

An interesting place to go in beautiful countryside. If you drive to the parqeodora it is a reasonable 20m walk to the river. Upstream of the main pools are others that are pretty much deserted.
It is worth visiting the cave that belongs to the house about 200m down stream too.

Absolutely stunning! Such a beautiful and unique spot. Lots of locals and some extranjeros but not yet spoiled by hoards if tourists.
After being in Napa a few weeks ago, I didn’t have very high expectations of this Vineyard but to our surprise the experience was pretty good with a great tour led by Carlos where we learned about making wine in Colombia.
The wine, specially the Merlot, was surprisingly good...even bought some bottles to take home.
The tour was just 25k COP or about US$7.50.
My two teenage kids ate ice cream and drank juice while enjoying the very good Wi-Fi connection!!!
Highly recommended!!!

Very slow service, and in close part of restaurant we were not allowed to sit even it was raining outside…they told us to sit ourside…. Unpolite totally… waiting for 30 minutes outside, no service yet, so we reminded them… and we got some wine, and waiting for a while fo the rest, after all there are nicer places to visit in Colombia…

For the transportation you can go in public transportation and walk about a kilometer if you dont have a car, or take a cab from the Bus Station of Villa de Leyva to Santa Sofia

The best thing to be said about this place is the location if it's a sunny day. We paid for the tour, wine and snacks. When we arrived they pointed us back and forth between buildings before just letting us sit outside. After 45 minutes they bought us two small glasses of wine to taste, one of which had small pieces of cork floating all through it, and some cheese in a plastic container. There was no explanation of the wine in any language (we speak a bit of Spanish) an hour and a bit later, we were the only people there and had had no mention of a tour. We then had to find them to ask about the tour. They said it was only in Spanish and sent us away. Very poor service, average wine at best. Very expensive for what it is. Honestly wouldn't bother, either as someone who does or doesn't speak the language fluently
Henry Waite — Google review
Nice place. The fee was a little bit high due to the fact that we could only taste one glass of wine. But they also tell you about the whole production process (in Spanish) which is interesting as well.

This was the first time in my life I've thrown wine away. The Merlot smelled of kerosene and was full of sediment. The white looked like water, and both smelled and tasted of a diluted paint stripper. I really hope it wasn't...
They offered chocolate and fruit to add the missing flavour from the wine.
As for the tour, so so. And the venue was all modern and well made. Shame about the wine

Wow! Wow! Wow! A stunning church dedicated to Our Lady, a must-visit for those on a spiritual pilgrimage or who just love good architecture and religious art. The side altars, the historic art, the stained glass, the frescos, and the altar are just all magnificent. You can also just feel the presence of Our Lady there. Chinquinquira is a bit cold so make sure to bring a jacket! The church is in a bit of disrepair though in some areas, which hopefully will one day be addressed. It seems that a lack of respect or value is given to the historical value and architectural beauty of the town, which hopefully will one day change. A gem of a town, come and see it before more of the historical buildings disappear.

The Basilica in the historical center is an experience in itself. There are a lot of legends associated with the Virgin. Take time to appreciate the architecture, the spiritual experience and the ambience. The church is huge and the statues are life like. Incredible place and cute museum. It makes my heart bleed to see how they encased the Kronosaurus in a strange plastered floor, but at least they saved it from being stolen and brought in some moist european capital
Chiara Bellavite — Google review
Really nice museum that keeps expanding and growing. They sell themselves as “nonprofit organization” where everything that they collect is used to expand and fund the museum.
Such a young museum and yet already owns a master piece, that also became the reason to be founded. The “Kronosaurus Boyacensis”. Unique of its kind, well kind of, there are other that were found but what makes this one unique is how complete it is and that was kept through the years in the exact same place where it was found! Quite impressive!
The ticket price is average and I strongly recommend to wait until the tour, our guide was professional and knew a lot. The museum can be quickly see, you get a brief introduction and then it goes straight to the point.
I really recommend the visit.
Also, there are some nice souvenirs made my locals that use the profits to help their families. They appreciate any contribution that can made. :)

I love a location where they build the museum around the fossil! It is incredibly well done with good context! Every sign is in Spanish and English. They have a collection of items from all over Columbia, though mostly from their local area. It is still an impressive collection. Some displays were still under renovation when we were there. They loaned us a wheelchair for my mother without a deposit.

About 5-6km from Villa de Leyva, we cycled, you just need to climb over a hill. Its a small museum, apart from the big fossil there is not that much to see. The signs are in Spanish and English. Good for about 30min visit. There’s another little fossil museum on the main road, it’s a pity they don’t offer a combination-ticket to view both
Casa Terracota, located on the outskirts of Villa de Leyva, is a unique and quirky attraction. It is known as the world's largest ceramics structure and was originally conceived by architect Octavio Mendoza Morales as his primary residence. The building project aims to harmoniously merge architecture, design, and other arts and crafts using earth, air, water, and fire to transform fired clay into architecture.
Very interesting tourist stop. It’s a house made of mud, by a local architect. You get a guided tour of this fully functional mud house. They describe everything from the inspiration, to the construction of the building. It’s a great place to visit. Very unique!

Casa Terracota is a unique architectural marvel located in Villa de Leyva, Colombia. This unconventional structure, entirely made of clay, captivates visitors with its earthy charm and whimsical design.
The experience of visiting Casa Terracota is unlike any other. As you step inside, you're greeted by intricate clay sculptures and winding passageways that lead to various rooms and chambers. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly impressive, showcasing the creativity and ingenuity of the architect.
While the exterior of Casa Terracota is its most striking feature, the interior offers a glimpse into the creative mind behind this extraordinary creation. Each room is adorned with clay furnishings and decorations, creating a cohesive and immersive environment.
One aspect worth noting is the sustainability of the building materials used. By constructing the entire structure from clay, Casa Terracota exemplifies eco-friendly architecture and serves as a testament to the possibilities of sustainable design.
Overall, Casa Terracota is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Villa de Leyva. Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, an art lover, or simply curious to see something out of the ordinary, this clay house promises a memorable and enchanting experience that will leave a lasting impression.

A lovely place , what I recommend for this particular place . Bring a pair of very comfortable shoes , bring a backpack for family , bring your camera , your phones , and a few bottles of waters depending of the family . Yes it’s really easy going down , but harder to come up , (nothing new/this is normal) the walking it’s about 1 hour going and coming back , because you stop and take pictures and admire the every single Pozo . Do not drink the water, don’t play with it , it has so much minerals that are toxic for human and pets . Don’t let your pet on the loose because they can drink from the water . This is totaling like hiking , so with that being said , bring also a hat , and mosquitoes repellent , just in case , some days are very hot and there aren’t many shadows , there is a bathroom and a shopping bodega at the entrance , and also another bathroom and a bodega when you get downstairs almost on the way where you start coming back up . Very basic things they sell . Mostly drinks and snacks . Is it worth it ? 100% 😎! Beautiful views, beautiful pics . I will recommend to go around midday if possible it’s when the sun 🌞hits the water more and you can see thru it ! Loved it !

Plaza Mayor de Villa de Leyva is a popular destination in Colombia, featuring a large cobblestone plaza surrounded by cafes, handicraft shops, and a colonial church. The town offers an opportunity to experience Spanish colonial architecture and picturesque natural surroundings. The plaza's floor is made entirely of rocks and nearby attractions include museums, restaurants, bars, and shops selling local crafts and cuisine. Visitors can escape from everyday stress at this charming location which includes hotels for accommodation.
A must visit place if you come to Colombia. You have the chance to go back in time to a Spanish colonial style town surrounded by beautiful nature, mountains, lots to do in and out of town. The plaza's floor is all made of rocks as it was built centuries ago, but there are wonderful places to go nearby: museums, awesome restaurants and bars and typical food and craftsmanship shops.

ABSOLUTELY the best place to catch the sunset if you're visiting Villa de Leyva. Beautiful expanse of cobblestone surrounded by lovely shops restaurant and let's not forget the church.... Where the bells ring (loudly) at 5:30 and 5:45 calling people to mass. Kinda wish someone had warned me before the first bell... Minor heart attack, but none the less it's a must do if you're in the neighborhood.

What a wonderful town with a spectacular square. There are a lot of tourist shops but when you go on a weekday it's pretty quiet. Prices are low. For example: 4 coffee is 12000 pesos.

Villa de Leyva's Main Square, Plaza Principal de Villa de Leyva, is a captivating destination that embodies the charm and beauty of this colonial town. Surrounded by historic buildings, quaint cafes, and artisanal shops, the plaza serves as the heart of Villa de Leyva.
One cannot help but be mesmerized by the plaza's grandeur and tranquility. The vast cobblestone square, flanked by towering trees and adorned with a central fountain, offers a serene and picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy.
The plaza is not only a scenic spot for leisurely strolls but also a hub of activity and cultural significance. Throughout the year, it plays host to various events and festivals, showcasing the vibrant culture and traditions of the region.
Surrounding the plaza are several architectural gems, including the Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the colonial-era houses that add to the plaza's allure. Additionally, the abundance of cafes and restaurants lining the square offer a perfect opportunity to indulge in local cuisine while soaking in the ambiance.
Overall, Plaza Principal de Villa de Leyva is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring this charming Colombian town. Its timeless beauty, rich history, and lively atmosphere make it a memorable highlight of any trip to Villa de Leyva.

It's cobble stone streets are just brilliant. The white color of each facade makes of this village an amazing spot for a marathon of pictures and selfies. We laid down on the grass to chill and had some tasty chocolate of the Museum of Chocolate.

Beautiful historical Square, everything in original condition and well maintained. Great atmosphere at night time. One of my favourite stops on holidays, very relaxing and friendly place, lots of great food around here all in walking distance from the main square.
A colonial-era cathedral & mansions frame this vast central square, which hosts markets & festivals.
Local Columbia living. Everyone friendly and welcoming. Can feed the birds and have them flying everywhere pretty churches And architecture. A lot of traditional food and customs
A square surrounded by beautiful historic buildings (well, for the most part anyways). The square is clean and gives priority to the pedestrian which is nice. However, the square could be conserved better. For context for those who do not know, Tunja was one of the most important cities during the colonial times in the Viceroyalty of New Granada. That is why it is so sad to see the state of deterioration of historic sites in the city. Hopefully, the government will do a better job of conservation.

Despite the street dogs everywhere, it's a quiet place and a beautiful square, no street sellers like the Bolivar Square in Bogotá and no garbage everywhere

The place is amazing, with tons of historical architecture, unique places even for Latin America. You should try the rellena’s food stand. Be aware it gets edgy late at night.

it smells bad, having made toilets in a historical site like this square was stupid. Many people who have visited it before and after these baths think the same thing and now I was able to verify it...

A nice square where you can find basically everything you need. Restaurant, bank, church, cafés. Essy to get taxis or buses.
This tiny bridge played a key role in the final battle for New Granada's independence in 1819.
Amazing place to visit. Also, a must if you want to know more about Colombian history. Is free except on December because the Christmas decorations

Awesome stop at this historical set. The place is big and beautiful, full of history. There is a gentleman who usually gets near the always lit torch and gives an explanation of the events that took place here. Highly recommend it.

It was an amazing experience to visit this monument to one of the bloodiest battles for the Independence of the Americas. The flags, the sculptures, the views. Simply superb.

I learned a lot about the history of the Grand Colombia. The grounds are kept very nice, bathrooms and a small cafe are available. A great place to visit. Weekdays are better.

Historic place where the battle that won Colombia's independence was fought. Very well preserved and maintained... better to visit on a week day to avoid the crowds. The small convenience store in site was nice and the attendant very helpful and knowledgeable... great place for a good photo opportunity.

Historical place with monuments, restaurants and cafeterias. Peaceful with prairies and beautiful trees. A good place to stop with your family and friends before arriving Tunja. Some monuments have been vandalized.

It is a beautiful place to visit, nice green areas and historic places great for photos. Just be aware is not very accessible friendly for prams or wheelchair.

Is a very nice monument, in a natural setting. But the music blasting from the speakers is a real put-off. It should be a somber place to reflect about the struggle for freedom

Enjoyed the landmark and its history. To be able to walk the same ground that was once walked on by Simon Bolivar was a special moment for me. I recommend all go and experience the emotions of the moment while you are there. You may not enjoy it if you are not into history.

This is spot where the colonial forces finally defeated the Spanish and Colombia with the surrounding countries gained their independence. A small monument but well maintained and worth a stop if only to appreciate the terrain in which the forces had to fight.

A bit chilly first of all so bring a jacket. How anti-climatic! When one pictures the Bridge where the last big battle for independence was for New Granada, one does not think of a small bridge like this one haha! In any case, the area was super interesting and is very recommended for anyone looking to interact with Colombian history. The monument to Bolivar offers a sensational view and is very beautiful, as well as the monument to General Santander. My only complaint is that the highway very obviously cuts off what used to be one park dedicated the independence. While I didn't walk around the other side, I saw it through the car window and I must say that some of the monuments are in a lamentable state. Hopefully, the government does something about it
I really liked this place, despite being a bit shocking for the people that took me there that they started to charge per car. It seems that it used to be free and now there’s a 15000 COL pesos fee.
The place is quite wide to explore, there a monument to bolivar, the bridge and great views from the top. Also there are toilets, some merchants if you want a drink or something to eat and around the area there are other highlights.
This is one of the most important places to visit in Colombia, I believe, here took place the last battle that would grant Colombia its independence.

This is the main church of this beautiful town. The architecture is imposing on the rest of the town. The spire is so huge that it is visible from a long distance. The night light here is magical and the huge square infront of the church complements the huge spire. The church is really pretty inside too. If you visit Ubaté, my recommendation would be to visit the square both during the day and during night to admire the beautiful building.

We had such a great day! Avoided the weekend crowds... the drive thru the beautiful Colombian countryside. A river next to the Hot Springs resort. The water amazing and make sure you try out the eucalyptus sauna in the basement!

Bring a towel! Buy a hair cap! This was a lovely, casual thermal spring 1.5 hours outside Bogota. Very simple but the water was magical. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains and small waterfall and creek. Very beautiful, but really don’t forget a towel!
Nicole Will — Google review
Amazing place - hot, thermal man-made pools with the source pool being a natural hot spring pool. Beautiful, lush forests all around the pools. Ice-cold showers to shower before entering the thermal pools and in-between dips. There's a Turkish-style sauna or steam room adjoining the pools. Convenient changing facilities. Fascinating hike to the waterfalls nearby. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because (1) the gorro or cap rule was not enforced consistently and (2) if you are planning to visit over the weekend or during a holiday, as my group of 3 did, you have to arrive around 9 AM to avoid the long lines for depositing your belongings or getting a locker, for retrieving them, for the changing cubicles before and after. We arrived at 9 AM but by the time we left the pools to hike to the waterfalls (after the Turkish bath and changing back), the place was mobbed. However, the crowds were enjoying the water-aerobucd sessions and the delicious snacks available all around the pools.
Alternative would be to go on a weekday and even stay overnight in the hotel. We didn't do that as we visited Guatavita on the way back.

Excellent thermal volcanic baths. Change and bath rooms, sauna, and the pools to regenerate the body. A restaurant to eat as well as a river that runs parallel to the facility. Recommend getting there early.

I think it is a great place to visit if you want to go into spring waters, have a nice lunch or take a warm swim. I think prices are a bit high though. The road was very clean and it looks like people take good care of the roads in the place.

Surrounded by nature, wonderful place to relax and enjoy the hot springs. Food and drinks are not allowed and the food and drinks you find at the restaurant and cafeteria are expensive. There were lots of fun activities like the nature walk and aerobics in the water. Looking forward to going back soon!

Very lovely place, cozy, spacious, and also a bunch of space. When I visited it was Sunday, read the reviews here and was set to be disappointed by the huge crowd, but in the end, there wasn't a crowd, and was a lovely place to enjoy as a couple.

Not recommended for people in wheelchair or difficulty walking!😠 Too many steps to go up and down from the parking lot. Once in the pool are not enough organization and they require a pool hat which they don't tell you that untill you are in the pool definitely not coming back

It was a great experience, thermals are so beautiful the rooms are so comfortable and the nature is amazing.
I only have a suggestions you should have the equipment in case of an emergency I burned my hand with a coffee an ask for help to the assignments but they didn't know how to help.So it would be great if you train your personal for that cases the rest was great.
