Padre Cícero's mansion is a museum that was once one of the Father's homes.
The place is well organized and clean. At the entrance you can count on an automatic alcohol gel dispenser that just puts your hand under and it releases the alcohol without having to press.
It is in this house that there is a living museum with sculptures made to size but characters from the history of Juazeiro. In total there are four scenes (one in the dining room, in the room with the Priest in the hammock, in the room of the heart of Jesus, in the study and the last in the chapel).
There is also a huge amount of "ex-votos", which are objects left by pilgrims for a grace achieved.
In the museum you can drink water from clay pots. And buy souvenirs.
It's a great place for those who enjoy popular culture and history.
The museum does not have guides. So if you need a guide to tell the whole story of the city and Father Cícero, you can contact @juazeiroguia.

O local é bem organizado e limpo.

Dozens of enormous boulders scattered on a plateau with panoramic views over an arid landscape.
Not gonna find views like this anywhere else!
Wojciech Banasik — Google review
First, this is a difficult place to visit. A group guide is required, that is available only at the fazeda (hotel) near the entrance. Secondly, know that reaching the hotel involves driving about 45 minutes on rough gravel roads. The tour is set-time, staring at 4:00 PM and ending after dark. Thus you are driving back to the paved road on dark gravel roads.
Now for the tour. The group will walk a couple of miles with a serious incline. This is not mountain climbing, but rigorous for old and fat people. The group stops at various location to observe the "Flintstones" terrain. There are indeed odd rocks, massive boulders scattered about. Nothing comparable in the USA. The end of the walk is on top, with a perfect view of the surrounding valley and sunset. Take lots of photos.
Tnis is highly recommended, if the logistics are not too scary. Oh, if you want you can eat and lodge at the hotel. This will avoid the nighttime drive back across the unpaved roads.

The cost of the tour is R$40 per person and is well worth it. I also recommend calling ahead to find out more about how it's working.

A place with a lot of historical value and barely nobody knows about... Simple but totally worth visiting
Aku Rosenqvist — Google review
The Ingá Stone is located in the middle of the Ingá River in the small Brazilian city of Ingá (know you know how it got its name). What is it? It’s a rock formation that is covered with petroglyphs (or stone picture carvings). The prehistoric carvings were done over time and the most recent additions may have been added as recently as the 18th Century—all done by local native tribes.
The meaning and/or purpose of these carvings is unknown and undeciphered. Some of the carvings resemble animals, fruits, the Orion Constellation and other less-easily distinguishable figures.
The carvings are also known as the Itacoatiara do Ingá (pronounced: “EEta- cwa – tiara”), which is the name in the Tupi language of the original natives. “Ita” means stone and “coatiara” means picture.
This is not the only such site with carvings in this part of Brazil, but it is one of the biggest. Still, when we visited, there was nobody here. The northeast of Brazil is less-visited by tourists than the south; this site sits 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the capital of the state, so that also contributes to the lack of tourism, but that’s good for you if you do go!
To get there, the roads aren’t bad and you can find it on your Waze or Google Maps. I was really impressed with this site and I was very glad I visited. If you’re anywhere near here, you really should come visit.

It's one of the best parks in the city, especially for a walk, with good tracks and signals throughout the way. However, it is not that clean nor a really beautiful place. There's almost no other plant than eucalyptus, since this tree release substances that usually supress any other kind of plant. Then there's no grass to rest and play on, and soil is exposed and hard, except in the fields for games such as volleyball and soccer, where the ground is sand.
During the Winter Festival, special events are held in here, such as concerts, art demonstrations and circus.

(Translated by Google) Every route is very beautiful:
1- During the trail you will also find very beautiful houses and lodgings.
2- After the first climb you will find a gentleman who sells a spectacular sugarcane juice. The best I've ever had. Even the ice itself is made from sugarcane juice.
3- Both the residents of the city, Bezerros, and the residents around the mountains are very friendly.
4- There is also a bus that goes up to a cultural space where there is a great restaurant. When you leave this cultural space, you walk another 3km until you actually arrive at the Ecological Park. Be careful that the last time the bus brings you back is around 15:30. If you get lost, you will have to be lucky to find a ride, as there is no other transport service. I was informed that on Saturdays, due to the local bars, there is the possibility of finding Vans after 6pm that can transport you back to the city.
5- The ecological park has many good areas to take pictures. Beware that there are some undergrowth that can cut. There is a lot of green and in some places you can feel the humid air.
6- The whole route starting from the initial plate until reaching the ecological park would classify as moderate level. I had to stop a few times to get some rest.
7- According to my Amazfit, the total traveled: 16.41 km.
Hope this helps. Sorry if I didn't provide as much information, as it was my first trail.

7- Segundo minha Amazfit o total percorrido: 16,41Km.

(Translated by Google) There is no more signage in place. It's a quiet trail, which you can do alone - basically just go around the hill, with some entrances to see the viewpoints (carambola, coconut tree, and others that I don't remember the name of right now), but there are no signs to tell you which way to go. the tourist must follow. We were lucky to find a large group that had already done the trail and already knew the way, and helped us find the exit - because we had given up on going down the last steps of the trail because we didn't know if it was the right way, and also because it was quite strange... the Serra Negra region still has a lot to grow in terms of tourism.

The place was rather abandoned when we went there off season. If you are a stranger and look like that, the taxi drivers will probably try to rip you off... between 20 and 25 RS for going and returning would still be a very good price for them.
The parque could have some more information within but in general I consider it a place worth to visit, the view over the surroundings if definetly great.
The run intermunicipal buses from Maceió Rodoviaria for 13 RS (one way), if you want to do this as a daytrip excursion. Then you have to take a moto taxi for some kilometers from town center.

I had the impression that the road leading to the site was recently paved, as it was unmarked. The cliffs add that touch that makes the whole trip worth it. There are two kiosks on site serving snacks, lunch, drinks and cocktails. If you choose not to consume, they charge 30 reais for the kit with umbrella and chairs. If you're thinking about it, be sure to spend a morning or afternoon there!
