(Translated by Google) Hey! We are already old acquaintances of the place. A wonderful beach, a true Paradise. The houses all face the sea, the accommodations are rustic but comfortable. Weak points are the kitchen utensils and no air conditioning, other than that, family enjoyment is guaranteed. Grade 10.
The owners are TOP, especially Mary.

Oi! Nota 10.
Os proprietários São TOP, principalmente a Mary.

(Translated by Google) A grace. Very beautiful place. Clean beach, nice to walk and swim. The service at Terra Nossa was impeccable, always worrying about our well-being. The house (tropical) is good, has everything necessary, very clean and comfortable. The water in the region is yellowish for some reason linked to embasa (the company that takes care of the water supply), remembering that it is a state problem, but nothing that would cause harm. I really enjoyed it, I would definitely come back! The barbecue areas are very good and the willingness to light a fire at night transformed the trip.

Located 15 km away from the central region, Itacarezinho Beach is the farthest of the Four Beaches Trail and renowned as one of the best beaches in Itacare. Its typical northeastern beach view features a shoreline surrounded by palm trees, long stretches of sand and an irresistible sea for swimming. Visitors can enjoy a more secluded atmosphere or engage in activities such as surfing, diving and hiking.
This spot is as close to heaven as you can get here on earth. Be sure to stop at the Mirante on the way down for a beautiful photo. If you have the money, you can rent a gorgeous cabana, but be prepared to open up your wallet. It’s about $300R per person. $250R comes back in food and drinks. The second option is $300R total for chairs, an umbrella, pizza and a few beers. My best recommendation is solid footwear for the walk (10 mins downhill and 15 mins uphill), carry your Havianas, and bring water, snacks, and towels. You can also hike to another nearby beach on a trail should you choose. Last great perk, you can rinse off in a fresh water waterfall coming from the nearby river. Totally worth the trek.

A great tourist attraction not more than an hour from the city of Ilhéus, offering great, though not cheap, food and drinks. The beach itself is splendid. Not a piece of rubbish to be seen.

One of the best beaches in Itacaré. You can either leave your car at the entrance and walk down to the beach or park inside the property at a cost. Itacarezinho isn't usually crowded. In case you don't have a beach chair or a parasol, you can rent them from the only kiosk you'll find on the premises. There is also a minimum spending requirement restaurant.
Helsingberg Arcanjo — Google review
This was our favorite beach in the area. Not to crowded, easy access, you can swim, enjoy not to strong waves, get some snorkeling, walk along...
Despite the rough sea, a visit to Praia de Jeribucaçu is essential as the landscape composed of fine sand and typical coconut vegetation is stunning. This beach is also popular among surfers and boasts a natural freshwater river with the same name. The river forms small natural pools perfect for refreshing dips. The scenery at Jeribucaçu is among the most beautiful in Itacare, surrounded by virgin forest and adorned with rocks that add charm to the landscape.
One of the most wonderful beaches in Itacaré! There's a parking lot to the cars and you have to walk on a trial for approximately 20 minutes.
It worth a lot!

Beautiful beach, you need to do a 20 minutes trailto get in,and it's better to be done with a nice weather. The GPS sometimes point to a wrong direction. You need to follow the signs and turn left right after the roundabout when you come from Itacaré.

It's decent if we do the trek through the mangrove and passing by the Usina waterfall to get there. However, I prefer Prainha, as it is more secluded.

Prainha is a popular beach known for its clear waters, hiking trails, and surfing waves. It is located near Ribeira Beach and can be reached by a 45-minute walk through the forest. The trail to Prainha is not well signposted, so it's recommended to go with a guide or use a trail app. Alternatively, visitors can access Prainha from inside the Villa de Sao Jose Condominium.
Stunning views!! It takes just under an hour to reach on foot from Itacare - the guides remove the signs so be careful not to get lost but we met plenty of people who pointed us in the right direction

Cool just to see the beach on the other side, the town and maybe a sunset. But as a beach, it's much better to go to resende, tiririca and ribeira. The sand here has a dirty-looking aspect and the beach feels crowded really fast. Not much space.

The Quarta Praia beach in Morro de Sao Paulo is a more secluded, quieter option than the main beaches in town, and is worth walking to after a dip in the water. It's also more vazia than the other beaches in Morro, with many people renting bikes to pedal along the long stretch of sand.
Really liked it. Away from the crowds of the other beaches that are closer to the town centre you'll find a nice beach with very little amount of people (takes a while to get there as you can only get there by foot I think). Because of that, unfortunately this isn't an option for people with reduced mobility. There are a couple of bars that (I think) serve some food (although we didn't eat). Not a place to watch the sunset, best during the morning/day time (till 16:30-17:00)

(Translated by Google) I went on a round trip, I couldn't believe that the guide went straight past and only mentioned the church as a meeting point.
I stayed behind and went in to see this building that is a historical heritage and that began to emerge in the 19th century.
It was very rich, but it was looted several times in its history. So its baroque style was greatly reduced by stolen pieces, but it is still beautiful in its simplicity.
There's a bone inside a nest in the wall, protected by glass. I was a bit amazed when I realized that it was a mandible and, as there is no explanatory plaque, I still haven't discovered which saint it belonged to.
Isn't it strange that, on São Paulo Hill, the patron saint is Our Lady of Light?
They should probably share custody of the island, one should be president and the other vice president, something like that.
(Original)

Just coming off of Covid19 restriction, this hotel wasn't as up to date for the price they charged. The rooms were adequate, but not magical. Lots of damage all around, the closet was breaking, the railing on the stairs was broken/dangerous. The pool closed, even though the other hotel pools were open. Over all, disappointing. Horrible delays. I arrived at the ferry boat 2 hours ago and I still waiting for the ferris leave. How difficult can be to run a half hour boat back and forth.

(Translated by Google) From an infrastructure point of view, it is an extremely useful and important essential service for the transport and integration of the Capital and the highways that arrive from the South, Southeast and Center-West of Brazil. Ferry Boats deserve better attention from public authorities, as well as the services provided. Boats that were once extremely modern, today need minimal repairs and care. It is worth mentioning that other states in Brazil do not have boats with this quality and construction, so maintenance would be enough to improve service conditions. Pedestrians and all types of vehicles board practically without restrictions.

It takes a long time to board, a lot of disorganization and no monitoring of the sound height that some users set to listen! Total disincentive to enjoy the beauty of the Island and the municipalities of Costa do Dendê, which should have a tourist incentive - something that doesn't exist! 😡

Outside the terminal there were around 500 people in a queue that didn't move, waiting for the boats at their schedules, which while I was there, none of the schedules were met. Hundreds of families under the scorching sun with no set time to board. I'm horrified. It was the first and last time.

Estou horrorizada. Foi primeira e ultima vez.

(Translated by Google) Terminal without good signage. When you arrive at the entrance you almost don't know that it is a terminal, as what is above is a huge advertisement that looks more like the entrance to a company than the entrance to the terminal. The service was disorganized and it wasn't full, I can only imagine on weekends and holidays. Filthy bathroom, dirtier than an old gas station on the side of the road. Truly absurd for the price they charge! How can the Government of Bahia not monitor the service of this concession. The rules of the contract are certainly being violated by the concessionaire Internacional Travessias. It is clear that privatization does not improve the service if there is no supervision and monitoring of the contract by the assignee!!!
(Original)

(Translated by Google) It is a terminal managed with a 20th century vision, thinking that its users are still discovering the place and as if this place were just a native fishing village. A bolder and more entrepreneurial vision is needed, aligned with a health and sanitation infrastructure and land management and vehicle circulation. But it all starts with the modernism of the Bom Despacho Terminal. Oh! I think you should change the name too. Change to a contemporary name. Wanting sujestão, here you go.... Terminal "Neptune" or Triton, etc! I hope I contributed something with my comments. Until later.....

Lots of accumulated rubbish, proliferation of flies, cats running loose on the streets of Novo Porto, the health center doesn't have RX if a person suffers a fracture, the doctor in the emergency room only knows how to apply pain medication and send them home without professional dentistry. There is a frequent lack of water, the old Coelba network cannot handle it, especially in the summer, leaving residents without power, causing damage to electrical appliances. (Translated by Google) A good place for those looking for peace. However, if you are not used to insect bites, at least in the month of February, take repellent and don't stay in a room without air conditioning! The facilities could be better (better mattresses and bedding, better bathrooms and minibar...). It is also a little far from bars/restaurants, which requires a greater expense to get around, as the transport is unique (cars with traction), but you can call the cooperative and there is always someone who can help you. Arrival and departure from the inn by sea are a bit complicated for those who want to save money, as, as it is a more remote location, access is restricted and you have to make arrangements in advance for the boats to make special stops as required. availability and perhaps a greater expense, if no one has the patience you will have to take more expensive transport to make the crossing.

São Francisco Square, in the town of São Cristovão, is a quadrilateral open space surrounded by substantial early buildings such as São Francisco Church and convent, the Church and Santa Casa da Misericórdia, the Provincial Palace and the associated houses of different historical periods surrounding the Square. This monumental ensemble, together with the surrounding 18th- and 19th- century houses, creates an urban landscape which reflects the history of the town since its origin. The Franciscan complex is an example of the typical architecture of the religious order developed in north-eastern Brazil.
