Bustling golden sanded beach in a cove backed by apartment blocks. This is one of my favorite beaches on Guraparari Peninsula, and maybe even all of Espirito Santo State. A beach with plenty of sand, shade and calm waters that looks like a big lake. It's located in a residential area and quite peaceful, without too much commercial activity or bars. Clear water beach that still has the charm of native vegetation on its shore.
What a beautiful scenery! Bacutia Beach is all surrounded by native vegetation and rocky shores that leave the paradise look! The green and almost waveless waters that look more like a natural pool complete the landscape, ensuring that this is one of the most frequented beaches in the city.
The surrounding boardwalk provides space for walking, as well as several bars, restaurants and kiosks for a snack or lunch. Bacutia Beach is 8 km from Guarapari center, but without traffic, it is less than a 15-minute drive away.

This a very nice and beautiful beach. Gentle waves and family atmosphere. I would put 5 stars if during high tide there is no beach. Low tide is best.

Undoubtedly this is the hottest beach in the state. It is a small beach and it can get really, but REALLY packed in the summer or during some holidays, and you will see pretty much everything and everyone who wants to see and be seeing. It's a must go if if you want the summer jetset, and also if you want a calm bech (but for this you should not go during the hot season).

Meaípe Beach is a long, golden sand beach located in the outskirts of Vitoria. The gentle waves and clear blue waters make it a perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing. However, due to the powerful winds that whip up here from time to time, the beach can become littered with rubbish.

The Pedra Azul State Park is a stunning natural attraction that features well-known granite rock formations and hiking trails leading to dramatic viewpoints. Visitors can take a two- to three-hour self-guided walk through the forest and farmland, making stops at the park's nine natural pools. The climb is moderately difficult, with one section requiring ropes to scale a steep rock face. On weekends and holidays, access to the trail is limited to 150 people, so arriving early is recommended.
Pedra Azul State Park in Espírito Santo, Brazil, is a magnificent natural reserve that offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and diversity of Brazil's flora and fauna. The park's centerpiece is the stunning Pedra Azul mountain, which towers over the surrounding landscape and provides a breathtaking backdrop for visitors to explore the park's numerous trails. The park is home to a rich variety of plant and animal life, from colorful orchids and bromeliads to playful monkeys and exotic birds. The park's crystal-clear rivers and sparkling waterfalls also provide a refreshing escape from the heat of the day, while the tranquil beauty of the park's forests and meadows invite visitors to relax and reconnect with nature. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a first-time visitor, Pedra Azul State Park is a must-see destination that will leave you in awe of Brazil's natural wonders.

Just driving to this area is worth it. We took the 2.5 hour route leaving BR-101 from Fundão, then Santa Teresa, Santa Maria de Jetibá, Garrafão, before reaching Aracê. Beautiful route. To top it off, the even more beautiful Pedra Azul. We drove to the entrance of the park. Quite touristy and busy. Most people stay here for some photos and a visit to the restaurant and shop. Luckily so. Although right of the restaurant it stated that all trails were closed for the day since maximum of 150 persons was sold out, you can still walk about 1.5km up the mountain to the Park Rangers post. Only there the trails actually start that were limited access with permit. That first walk is highly recommended and easy to do for all, although flat shoes with profile is recommended. There is also a small beautiful cherry tree park just below the post that you can visit.

I guess it's usually a decent sized park area, but right now they have reduced access due to an outbreak of yellow fever at the end of 2017. The area which is still accessible is well kept and there are several sports areas, a skate park and a playground. The City Park Américo Renné Giannetti is a large park in the center of Belo Horizonte that offers a variety of activities and landmarks. Among these are lakes with boat rentals, a playground, and birdwatching opportunities. The park also has a tropical feel, with palm trees and flowering plants adding to its natural beauty.
The best pleace and pretty, in center of city. Look for youself.

A very beautiful park in the heart of Belo Horizonte with some stunning trees.
It is very large with over 180.000m² with many tropical plants.
Its history goes back a long way and some of the trees are over 120 years old.
It doesn't open on Mondays.

Beautiful park in the middle of BH. Free entry and quite spacious. Nice running track if that's your thing. Planting and lakes really pretty. Free entry.

Nice park. I have visited this park several times for running from the hotel. The park presents some good uphills and downhills, several lakes and public bathrooms. On Sunday, it is extremely busy but other days it is fine. Furthermore there are tennis courts and basketball court. Unfortunately they could keep it cleaner and tider than it is in reality.

It's always good to find some green in the middle of a big city. The park is quite beautiful, but lacks some upkeeping. Or perhaps, that was the impression after a long holiday of visitors littering around.

Rodovia MG-10 Km 94, Areias, Jaboticatubas - MG, 35847-000, Brazil
A hiking trail leads to this sizable waterfall & natural swimming area with picturesque scenery.
This place is simply amazing!
The waterfall is beautiful and has enough place to swim. Personally I liked a lot the other side of the waterfall, the Cipó river. So calm and peaceful! You can enjoy the river literally by yourself.
To reach the big waterfall, you need to walk around 1km and the trail is very easy. Small kids and eldery people can do it easily. The entrance fee is 30 real but it is well deserved!
Bo-sung Kim — Google review
Great place to come to relax and have a day out with friends or family. The price is quite expensive R$30 each, so plan to spend the whole day. Bring your swimming gear as it's a good place to swim. Also bring a picnic but no BBQ's or alcohol.
T J — Google review
This waterfall is on a private place, you must pay to enter. There are several waterfalls.in this parc but only Cahoera Grande is worth the view.
Xavier (Venitien) — Google review
Nice enough, but R$50 per person! and you have to fill in a form and have your bags checked to go in, more security than at the airport! Just to go into the state park, which has bigger and better waterfalls, for FREE and not bother with this place and it's greedy owners. How can they charge R$50 when the Sanctuario do Caraça, which is thousands of times larger and far more beautiful charge only R$25! Daylight robbery.
I see some people here saying that if there was no entrance fee and it was not public it would be a mess. Well go look in the State Park, it is free and well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful, not like the grumpy trio when we arrived, who did not even say good morning!

Considered the highest waterfall in MG, with a drop of 273m, Cachoeira do Tabuleiro is located in the district of Tabuleiro. The access to this tourist attraction is well-structured and visitors are advised to tread carefully on the rocks during their climb. The view from the upper part offers stunning scenery, with several pools available for swimming and relaxation throughout the day.
A amazing waterfalls to visit for sure. Both top and bottom views are excellent. The view from top needs some walking inside the waterfalls and is worth the effort. We can sit next the waterfalls and see it’s magic. The bottom park gives the overall visualization of the waterfalls.

(Translated by Google) It is worth knowing, from the entrance to the lower part of the waterfall, it is 3km, with 2km of stairs that can take your breath away on the way up, for those who do not practice any physical activity, the last 1km is just the waterfall between stones and water. You have to be careful not to slip and twist your foot. But it's pretty quiet. The journey is worth it when you arrive at the well where the water runs down the wall and only a dust of water arrives on your face. It's amazing. A fee of 10 Reais is charged to do this trail.

The dirt road had some pretty bad parts to get to, but it was ok even going with a sedan car.
The well was closed and so was the upper part! We could only go as far as the Mirante. (In January 2024). Either way, it was worth the visit!

(Translated by Google) I only saw the bottom part. The trail that leads to the bathing place is very well signposted but has intense sun, with little or no protection from trees along the way. Bring a hat or umbrella. The stairs are long on the way back, be prepared, but it's not impossible if you're not. If you have any mobility problems, you will probably have great difficulty with the stone path, until you reach the base of the Cachoeira. The water is not very cold like other waterfalls, so if you don't like waterfall water, you might really like the waters of Tabuleiro.

Conheci apenas a parte debaixo.

Aguas Correntes Park
Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Aguas Correntes Park is an enjoyable water park that features beautifully designed landscapes, pools, thrilling slides, cascading waterfalls, and charming cafés. It also boasts a spacious events venue capable of accommodating up to 500 people. The park offers excellent amenities and well-maintained surroundings. However, one drawback lies in the food and drink ordering system which relies on a PAYG card.
I really enjoyed the place. Good infrastructure, good food, preserved nature. The only negative point is for the system adopted by the club to ordering the food and drinks which is a kind of PAYG card.If you pay by cash you will be able to refunded in case any cash is left, but that is not possible if you pay by credit or debit card. To get this card you have to provide your CPF which is a Brazilian personal identification, if you are a foreigner you will not be able have it. The staff told me I had to have it even if I am not a Brazilian citizen. The place should give a proper training to the staff and find an alternative to receive foreigner visitors.
