The Beer Museum in Blumenau is a place where visitors can explore the region's history of beer production with videos and antique brewing equipment. It is currently under renovation, but is scheduled to open in the second half of 2022. Eisenbahn Bierhaus, one of the brewery not to be missed on your list, is located nearby.
Who would have thought it a beer museum in Brazil? There is a limited amount to see inside but this is more than compensated for by the entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide. Who would have thought that a Brazilian knew about Thornbridge Brewery. Well worth the visit

Relatively small place. Nice to see how beer used to be made. Thought there might be some samples but there are none (although there is a beer hall about 50 meters away. Free to get in.

An amazing experience! Roberto walked me through the museum and I was amazed at the quality of the presentation, information presented, and the thoughtfulness behind each part of the museum. The Vila Germanica Park is a beautiful tourist attraction in Blumenau, with a variety of shops and restaurants. There is an Oktoberfest event every year, which is a great way to enjoy the local culture. The park is also home to some beautiful seasonal decorations, and is a perfect place to spend some time in the city.
It is the best experience (German food, culture and music). It is a great place to visit!

Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.
Mark Peters — Google review
Purely touristy place. No actual German homes.
If you like beer and overpriced memorabilia, go for it. Not free tables to sit. Pay parking outside. You may park 3 blocks away for free ( I did not go on Octoberfest).
Matias Beltramo — Google review
Exactly what it says it is: a tourist attraction with overpriced foods, drinks, and souvenirs. Food quality is fair. We visited during the Christmas event.
Mr. D. — Google review
The most iconic and touristic place of Blumenau. The oktoberfest occurs here. In this beautiful and happy mood german place you will find good spots to drink good local or imported beers, souvenir shops, good restaurants to eat real food, snacks, or german style desserts. Clean restrooms, friendly peolpe. Nice place to spend some time in the city. There are beautiful seasonal decorations according to festive and cultural dates.

Praia de Canasvieiras is a lively urban beach on Ilha de Santa Catarina, offering a vibrant oceanside lifestyle. It's a popular spot for water sports, sunbathing, and enjoying waterfront restaurants and bars. The area is surrounded by other beautiful beaches like Praia Mole, Praia dos Ingleses, Ilha do Campeche, and more.
Most of the beaches look the same but worth the visit. There are free buses on sat and sun but expect 2-3hrs bus rides. You are better off going on weekdays and pay 6 reals for 2 rides within 2-3 hrs. It allows you to see 2 beaches per ticket. You need to get a bus pass I believe. These dunes are amazing. It costs R$20 per hour and they give you a bracelet so you are the only person allowed to use it for that hour. It is quite high and tirering so if your physical conditions aren't the best you might struggle with it. There are car parks nearby and they cost around R$10/20 per day but you can also park on the street and it will be fine. Some car parks have showers and toilets included on these prices. The boards are in good condition here and the staff is helpful. They also give you wax so the board can get more speed. The beach is nearby and you can get there walking. If the temperature is less than 25 degrees the water might be cold and it might bring jelly fishes. There are restaurants and bars in there. The dunes are just perfect and the moisture from the sea helps it to be in the best condition. Do not buy water from the place in front of it as it tastes like swage and it looks like they have bottled it themselves.

My favourite beach in floripa. A super place to surf. It has some small rocks on the left side of the beach, a great place to watch the surfers. Good parking and the sand is super. And the restaurants i have tryed is good.
The Campeche Island is a beautiful, relatively unknown beach destination with a relaxing and pristine atmosphere. The island is also known for its archaeological sites, including an ancient Maya city that still stands today.
It is a must-visited Campeche Island. The best advice I can give is to check the weather before you go, choose an agency to buy it a few days before you plan going because it is a really popular place, if you arrive there without your ticket probably you will face a big queue to try to take the boat! If you have problems with the boat, bring your medicine because it will take 40 min by boat to get there! The water is beautiful, paradise!
priscilla credico da fonseca — Google review
If you are in Floripa a visit to this Island is a must. It is absolutely stunning.
You can access it from a few places but we chose to get a boat from Campeche Beach (10 minutes). Tip - get their early as people queue from 8am because they only allow limited numbers on the Island.

A beautiful island with calm but freezing water. If you go on the weekend, there are many boats obstructing the view of the ocean. Nonetheless, the island feels calm and relaxed. We (foreigners) were told it costs 300 reais per person round trip to the island. When we said we don't have that much cash, they lowered it to 200 reais per person (Feb 2022). Still expensive based on other comments here, but I guess that's the price you pay for not being brazilian.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Shopping ViaCatarina is a multilevel indoor mall that offers a wide range of diverse stores and eateries, along with a cinema and hotel. While the food plaza is enjoyable, the floor layout can be confusing. However, the mall stands out for its selection of reasonably priced clothing, shoes, and electronic apparel. It is particularly convenient for monthly shopping due to its associated supermarket, which offers interesting prices.

Ibiraquera is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, offering activities like surfing, stand-up paddle, kitesurfing, and windsurfing. The stunning Praia d Luz e Barra de Ibiraquera is the ideal spot for beach activities. Beyond water sports, visitors can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, beach walks, and even horseback riding. For those seeking adventure on land, excursions to waterfalls and sandboarding in Siriu are popular options.
Praia do Rosa is a renowned tropical destination known for its sandy beaches, snack stalls, hiking trails, surfing opportunities and whale watching. This beach is often confused with Garopaba due to its access through the neighboring municipality. The surrounding landscape of Praia do Rosa features two beautiful hills, preserved vegetation and lagoons that attract numerous visitors during summer. The sea at this beach varies considerably due to the extensive stretch of sand.
Love this beautiful and clean beach ❤️

Such a nice beach! Great waves for surfing and a perfect place for relaxing and just having a good time. Nice and clean beach with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Also plenty of food and drinks available so you can stay on the beach the entire day without having to lift a finger. Overall Praia do Rosa had a very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Farol de Santa Marta is a picturesque lighthouse situated amidst sandy beaches and dunes, renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views from the top. It's an idyllic destination to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. However, signal reception may not be reliable in some areas due to its remote location. The village itself is quite petite with limited night-time activities, but there are stunning beaches nearby that can be accessed via short trails.
The village didn't change much in the last 10 years, which - for me - is positive. I love the atmosphere. The lighthouse is somewhat nostalgic. If you're lucky, the Cardoso beach will surprise you with nice waves and crystal clear water.

Spectacular view from the top of the hill where the lighthouse sits. You have to park your car on the street and walk up a trail to the top of the hill , but it’s and extremely easy walk without too much inclination. It was summer when we went, so flowers were blooming and butterflies where hovering all around. This is a fascinating location for birdwatchers given the variety of birds flying around the trail. Once at the top of the hill and facing north, there’s is a stunning view of an old cemetery overlooking the ocean and a sand dune covered beach. Facing west, you are directly about the beach and town of Santa Marta. And East, is obviously an open view of the ocean crashing upon rocks. The lighthouse was closed, but even so, the view is worth the short hike up.

Great place for a city escape. Signal reception is not good, non existent in some places. The village is really small, with not much to do, specially at night. There are great beaches to visit, some accessed through short trails.

A very privileged view of the ocean, the Lighthouse is an unmissable tourist spot. The surrounding beaches are excellent.
Fabio Renê Silva — Google review
An antique lighthouse that long ago functioned with whale oil.
Beautiful and well-maintained, with bright white paint. The reason I only gave 4 stars was due to faulty directions, Google deposited us next to a cemetery. A couple of locals told us we could get to the lighthouse from there, and we found a section of fence missing and a small footpath twisting among cactus and tall grasses and weeds. Once we arrived at the lighthouse we pivoted and saw a sign behind us warning that venomous snakes were in that area. The area we had just crossed. Now we had a snake-infested field between us and 12-yr-old and our car. We couldn't shout a warning to our kid because of the wind and waves, but fortunately he didn't try to follow us.
Anyway, I'm going to try to suggest a different route, but if you end up next to a cemetery, don't walk through the plants to get to the lighthouse!

Canion Malacara is a must-visit tourist attraction located in the Serra Geral National Park. It offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in natural pools of crystal clear water. The trailhead is 5 km away from Praia Grande in Santa Catarina and just over 25 km from Terra dos Canions. To reach the pools, visitors need to cross the canyon fissure and navigate around rocks to access one of the biggest pools within the park.
If you have experience with simple trails you dont need to go with a guide. BUT. you need a good gps. I used the garmin 66sr NOT a phone gps. There is no signal. Its hard to find the trail sometimes, especially when crossing the river. Snake protection is recommended and dont touch anything. Go long sleeved, and with long pants, vegetation is dense. Families or non biologists, I strongly recommend a guide. especially if there is rain its dangerous quickly so you need to be able to ‚read‘ the sky and weatherforcast.

(Translated by Google) The Malacara canyon, in June 2018, was not allowed to be visited from above, so we took the trail from below and it was very good, accompanied by the guide Giovani Bitencourt, as it is not allowed to do so without a guide, and he guided us very well. Because it is dry, much of the trail is through rocks. At the end of the trail there is a swimming pool and I couldn't resist... I loved seeing the canyon in the lower part of Praia Grande.

Por estar na seca grande parte da trilha é pelas pedras. No final da trilha tem uma piscina e não resisti... Adorei ver i cânion na parte baixa por Praia Grande.

The roads from São José dos Ausentes are dirt and very bad, but it's worth the sacrifice. In addition to this canyon, you will be just a few km from others, as well as other tourist attractions, such as waterfalls...

Itaimbezinho is the most visited canyon in the region, located in the Aparados da Serra National Park, just 18 km from Cambara do Sul. Accessible via a stone dirt road, it offers lush trails with sweeping views of the gorge and surrounding park. The 3.5km walk to see the canyon exit is highly recommended for its impressive landscape, making it a great destination for families.
The canyons park is good. The 3.5km walk to see the canyon exit is very good, and the landscape is very impressive. Good to go with your family. Remember to get a jacket before to go: the weather changes quickly.

The most beautiful part of this place is the nature. Therefore there's no have safe structure for your children or pets. There's no signals or posts of directions on the road. The road that we used was very straight. But, I have a good point to explain: the view is exciting! And there's a lot of plant types. You'll take a lot of photos on end of the day, when the sun is running away.

Aparados da Serra National Park is a natural wonderland located on the border of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. Covering an area of 102.5 sq km, this park is home to the magnificent Itaimbezinho Canyon and several footpaths, waterfalls, monkeys, and other wildlife. The campground Camping Passo da Ilha is managed by reliable and friendly individuals. They provide a pleasant camping spot with tarp tents capable of accommodating 3 or 4 tents within each structure. Some of these structures even include additional amenities such as a minibar and stove, although these come at an extra cost. It is important to note that reaching the campsite requires traveling along a 14 km dirt road.

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful place, but the camping is very precarious and expensive for the conditions. Bathrooms are pretty bad. Weak bar and expensive daily rate for what it offers, depending on arrival and departure times, you pay half a night. It's worth it for nature. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it looked like there had been a party, cans and bottles everywhere, when I left on Monday the trash was still there.
The horrible campsites spoil the look of the campsite, old and dirty tarps set up everywhere, with vinyl canvas flooring from advertisements. Terrible.
