Mine
Guided tours of a precious stone mine, with a souvenir shop & a park themed around Guarani myths.
We are from the United States and really liked the mine tour. One of the guides speaks English which were were grateful for. He gave us a really nice tour. The shop is very nice with items at all price points. We hired a taxi from Puerto Iguazu who drove us to mine, waited, and returned us to Puerto Iguazu.
Greg and Susie Johnson — Google review
The mines were OK. It takes about 5 minutes to go through the mines. You are told about the different rocks originating from the mine by the guide. There are food shops and a touristy souvenir shop close by. If you want to get cheaper souvenirs, without the touristy inflation, try going just outside the mines, the locals sometimes have stalls and sell things cheaper.
Alena Leychenko — Google review
Interesting place. You can access the mines that are only at floor level. Nice collection of geodes.
The are a nice restaurant close.
Gustavo Czobel — Google review
This was one of the first places we visited on our trip, and it was worth the drive. Gonzalo the tour guide, was incredibly patient with our son and did his best to include him throughout the visit. The gift shop at the end is lovely, if a little bit pricey considering we were at the mines.
Nathalie Molina — Google review
Beautiful and the guide was super friendly. Only 800 to get in (probably like 2k when you read this thanks to arg inflation) and a tip for the guide is optional. So pretty cheap. Definitely recommend

It's defective a nice place to see but not to be trusted by buying jewelry!!!!!!!

Interesting and informative tour. Nice guide. Do not let the "Minas Terra Colorada" people outside the entrance redirect you to their "mine". It is not the real deal.

Very beautiful serene place. If you are looking for some time out from the other holiday activities in Foz then this is a great option to come and spend some time.

A great place to disconnect from your busy life. I'm not religious, but I found the park extremely peaceful and inviting to walk through and appreciate in my own way.
There are even some small informational signs in some areas, which taught me lots of interesting facts. However, the signs are unfortunately only in Portuguese!

- asked which bus you have to get back, we've been told the wrong one have spent more than 1 hour to find the way.

Parque das Aves is a forested zoo park that houses over 800 species of birds, as well as some reptiles and butterflies. The bird sanctuary spans across 5 hectares and is situated just 300m away from the entrance to Parque Nacional do Iguacu.
This place is amazing, what they're doing to protect these birds is amazing too! I highly recommend checking it out!
Its really cool how you can go into the areas with the birds. The birds are very curious about you too.
A lot of signage, stating a lot of facts about trafficking birds. The most notable is: 9 out 10 birds do not survive being trafficked.
Jayson Lane — Google review
Amazing place to spend the day with all sorts of birds. Just incredible the opportunity to have an intimate, up-close experience with birds. I especially loved interacting parakeets and parrots. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. You can feel the staff have passion for the birds. There is so much to see. Highly recommended!
Paul Smith — Google review
Best bird preserve I have ever attended. Unlike most bird "zoos" this one just feels different.
One major reason is that the displays are larger than most facilities and provide the animals with a LOT more room. Very few small enclosures here. Many are gigantic in fact. With many educational displays.
In other words, this facility seems to care about the animals under its "wing". No pun intended. Even the restaurant and gift shop are better than most touristy locations. Recommended for young and old.

There were no toucans!
I loved everything about this place! It was am incredible place full of magic. Everything was well-explained, beautifully organized.
However, i went specifically to see toucans bur didn't get to see any! When I finished the trail and asked where they were, i was told they're all at the vet. I wish they would have told me that before! I went all the way and paid the money for the toucans!
I was so disappointed and I'm still quote angry!

Fantastic park with some unusual birds and not only. Very well thought out.
Great for its educational value also and the work they do to save endangered species and learn more about all creatures.
Very nice helpful staff. I still feel bad for staying a little later than their usual closing time (not that any of them said anything!)- just got forgotten in there enjoying it so much.
There is a nice shop, a terrace serving drinks and probably more. It has wifi so you can stay connected.
A must!

Great bird sanctuary and very convenient to the Brazilian side of iguazu falls. It's extremely obvious that the staff is dedicated to these animals. It was an opportunity to see some beautiful species of birds, and educational as well. The lunch restaurant was also surprisingly good!

I wasn't excited about visiting a zoo, but this is one with a mission. So glad we went! Gorgeous grounds and a chance to see and learn about the amazing diversity of the Atlantic Rain Forrest. Even the food in the cafe was delicious!
Mike Mongeon — Google review
I would recommend visiting if you have time. The sanctuary has over 300 species of animals, mostly birds. They have done an amazing job, providing well cared for habitats. There are many enclosures you can walk through to get great close up observations. The facilities are well taken care of, plenty of bathrooms throughout and an easy to navigate layout. They have excellent food at their onsite restaurant with lots of vegetarian and vegan options as they advocate reducing meat intake to reduce agricultural takeover of land which is one of the main causes of these animals natural habitat loss.
Nancy Van Delist — Google review
This place is just magical. I would recommend every animal/bird lovers to take time and visit the park, as you are really immersed in the birds’ world. What is even more pleasant is the way they treat the animals : this isn’t a zoo, but a shelter for endangered species and hurt animals. The goal here is to release them afterwards and help them reproduce to save the species !
Although careful what you read online, the prices went up : it’s 85 reais per person if you are not from Brasil ;)

Great place to see nature. If you like birds hummingbirds and butterflies don't skip this place. If you're a rather fast Walker like myself it will take you 1 hour to complete if you take your time and really stroll through the park it will take you 2 hours max. A nice stop if you're in Iguazu Brazil

This place has a wide variety of birds. Most of the birds are unique.
The place is well labeled in English and Portuguese. The staff is quite friendly.
The park is built in such a way that it looks natural. Trees and nature have been well preserved.
It's much better than traditional zoos. The birds are given enough space to fly around freely.
Definitely a must visit when in Foz do Igazu.

What a beautiful place to visit and what a remarkable work their people are doing to preserve the Atlantic coast’s rainforest flora & fauna! The visitors’ path from entrance to exit is one-way and easy to follow and guides one from one space to the next (open-air or caged) in a hassle-free manner. There is a restaurant and to enjoy snacks or refreshments closer to the end of the trail, amidst the beautiful area. It is a place DEFINITELY WORTH your time to visit for its massive educational value and its closeness to so many species! Being there reinforces your links with nature and strengthens our appreciation of biodiversity and the need to preserve it! Do not miss!

Nice quick stop before or after visiting Yguazu Falls on the Brazilian side. It is like a zoo, but for birds mainly (there are some reptiles and butterflies, too).

This place is a wonderful bird and animal sanctuary located near the entrance to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. In fact, we just walked to the entrance of the water fall after finishing our visit to the sanctuary. We enjoyed seeing all sort of different birds and animals during our visit. It was nice that all park signs included Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

Travel tips:
-It's beside a giant airplane on the open field
-No need to buy ticket in advance
-It's across the street of Iguaçu Falls National Park Entrance
-The park is small and well maintained
-The walking trail is relaxing and has many shades.
-Plenty of restrooms

You will need at least 2 - 3 hours to walk the trails and enjoy the birds and surroundings. If you are prone to being bitten by mosquitos (I travelled in April) place some repellent on, don’t forget sun protection. Check when activities are happening at the park, i watched the macaw feeding and it was lovely!! Photography tip: When you want to take photos or videos of the hummingbirds, use the slow mo option on your phone.
The park makes drinking water fountains available, and you can have a snack from the restaurant.
There is great information available on the birds and conservation. Thank you Parque das Aves!
Lisa Rothmann — Google review
The park is beautiful, with various birds easily accessible. However, incorporating more interactive activities would greatly enhance the experience. The tour takes about an hour.
Chris Lee — Google review
It seems most of the birds here are rescues of ones that were illegally captured. Some are rehabilitated, and released into the wild... some cannot be. There are also captive breeding programs for endangered species.
The enclosures are vast, giving the birds the opportunity to fly at least short distances. Overall, we were able to enjoy seeing these magnificent creatures without feeling guilty that we were contributing to their destruction.
Lou Kovacs — Google review
a really great place. everything is well signposted (in portuguese, spanish and english) and most of the birds are rescued. we followed the trail around and it took about 2 hours to see everything. there are bathrooms and cafes all along the way.

Fantastic haven for birds. I personally don’t like zoos or cages for animals. But this place is as good as it gets for caring the birds. The cages and enclosures are magnificently landscaped & ginormous like walking inside the domes of the movie “hunger game-mocking jay”. Many species I’ve never seen before and they all look healthy and happy unbothered by people. There’s a cafe inside with excellent desserts at very reasonable prices.

Iguazu Falls is a picturesque tourist attraction surrounded by trails where visitors can spot wildlife and take a train through the jungle. The falls are located in Parque Nacional do Iguacu and can be accessed via bus to Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, where the main waterfall observation trail begins.
Incredible and definitely one of the natural wonders of the world. In the summer it can get hot but it's not too much walking compared to some national parks.
The best option if you can afford it is to stay at the Belmond hotel in the park as you get access to the park even when it's closed. We had the sunrise and sunsets all to ourselves - amazing!

Absolutely outstanding! Must see!
Both the Brazilian and Argentinian side are wonderful. All my wildlife photos are from the Argentinian side though.
The Brazilian side offers a beautiful panorama - where the Argentinian offers more walks, views and the feeling of being inside Devil's Throat (incredible!).
I would recommend both - but the Argentinian side was my favourite. Glad to have spent two days there 🥳

Mother nature's beauty at its finest!
Just a reminder: bring a raincoat (something similar) or wear something waterproof, light outfits are much better as you'll probably get wet at the main viewpoint.
Be sure to have an insect repellent spray.
There are several stops before the main viewpoint, there's 3km (with an optional tour), 1.5km (you'll have to walk from here up to the end), and the main stop.
As for the tickets, you can buy it at the entrance (100 Brazilian Real) and from there you'll have to take the bus to reach the stops.

What an amazing place! You can visit the falls from both the Argentinian side as the Brazilian side. In my opinion the Argentinian side is the best. Taking a stroll through the whole park takes around 2-3 hours. The route is easy and very walkable. You could also take a train if you don’t want to walk.
Its quite crowded here, make sure to go early in the morning if you want to avoid queues. The parking is free when I went.
Definitely recommend to visit this place!

The falls are breathtaking and amazing from both sides. If possible, spend a day on each side to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. There is so much to see that it would be difficult to fit everything into one day. The walks on the Argentinian side are better, but the views from the Brazilian side are more impressive. While the boat tour might be expensive its definitely worth it, take the boat tour - it will greatly enhance your experience!

By far the best place I visited in Argentina. No need to buy the ticket in advance regardless of the stuff you read online. You can buy on the day without a problem sonic the weather doesn't suit do it another day. Wear sensible footwear because it can be slippery. Devil's Throat closed off December 2023 ongoing but you see that part, just from a different angle, a different place. The little train runs only a short way but is still available and enjoyable.

We visited after several days of rain. The falls were roaring loudly. The water spray was light at first. The closer we got the wetter we became. We took and used rain ponchos and were still very wet! It was a hot day. It didn't take long to dry off. Although my shoes are still wet the next day. I would recommend wearing sandals. This was a beautiful place to visit. I wish we arrived earlier to see more. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience. It rained all day we were there but what do you expect in a rain forest. The rib boat on the river was something else. If you get the chance it is a once in a lifetime experience, especially when they take the boat right under the waterfall where everybody gets absolutely drenched, but we'll worth it.

Easily this is one of the most impressive natural areas I've ever been to! You'll be blown away by the beauty of the falls, but also the wildlife, rainfoe, and rainbows you're sure to see.
The Argentina side is better for spending a day. There are tons of trails, restaurants, and amenities. The trails take you into a great view just above the falls and on a lower walkway where you get a great view from the front. A public bus reaches the main entrance but you have to pay cash for the bus. You them walk to the falls, or the park train can take you slightly closer. Plan 4-5 hours there. The Brazilian side has a park hosted shuttle bus that takes you from the entrance to the falls. You'll be put almost directly in the biggest waterfall! Water WILL spray you walking near them. The falls will be so close to you that you'll feel like you can touch them! Plan only 3 hours or so on that side.
Both sides offer snacks, souvenirs, and cheap water bottles. Restrooms are also available for free. You can't possibly have a bad time here!

It is fantastic! A place stunning with its beauty and power of nature! We were lucky to see this luxury from Brazil and Argentina. ☺️🥰 And visit the waterfall itself. 🤠 I wish you a great holiday and unforgettable adventures! P.S.

World class place. Definitive must see. During our visit it was flooded and looked different than usual, water was high, fast and brown.

Spectacular place! Park was well organized, spent the whole day walking around the trails as well as taking the boat ride. It's quite unfortunate that the Devil's Throat was closed temporarily that day, but I will come back definitely!

Arlene Aguelo — Google review
What an amazing place! You can visit the falls from both the Argentinian side as the Brazilian side. In my opinion the Argentinian side is the best. Taking a stroll through the whole park takes around 2-3 hours. The route is easy and very walkable. You could also take a train if you don’t want to walk.
Its quite crowded here, make sure to go early in the morning if you want to avoid queues. The parking is free when I went.
Definitely recommend to visit this place!

A truly beautiful and awe-inspiring part of the world. Take your time to stroll around the park to really take in the sights and admire the flora and fauna. You’ll be absolutely drenched if you do the speedboat ride - wear something that’s easy to dry!

The Cathedral of Maringá is an impressive modern structure, featuring a striking conical spire and a nighttime illumination that highlights its beauty. The church's design includes a viewing platform and captivating decorations that create the illusion of floating water near the building. The place was different from anything I ever experienced but it had its pros and it’s cons. First with the cons, the rooms were nasty, that’s the only true way I could describe it. There we millions of ants in the bathroom and we even found a HUGE spider (which we later found out was poisonous) in our room. Also the doors nor the windows would close properly and would bang because of the wind. That made it very difficult to get sleep. The rooms were really the only cons so now with the pros. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in my family (and we’re a big group) loved it. The service also was outstanding and we never ran out of things to do. From swimming, zip lining, going on trails, the gym, the spa, eating all the time, kayaking, paddle boating, going on water slides there was always something you wanted to do. The kids club was great for the kids and they were very welcoming and friendly. Overall this experience I would give a 3 or 4 star (only because of the rooms)!

Price does not match the product and service. Although nature is beautiful and makes the place awesome, it's infrastructure, specially the rooms, does not match the price asked for the stay. The singing sand spring is off course, a nature gift to the place.

Very well managed, facilities in pristine condition... Sports and aquatic activities are the staple, besides the famous small pond that the Guarani aquifer pumps up at a rate of 70k liters per hour. Guided visits and monitored activities all day.

Very nice Hotel with amazing location within the nature. The hotel is very clean and you can relax in very different ways. At the lake, on the lake with boats, at the pool, next to horses or cows. Eat fruits everywhere. In the morning it was fantastic just lay on the lake and listen to the singing birds.
The young stuff is very polite and funny. We felt very good treated. The food was very fresh and delicious.
One advice for the hotel for foreign tourists: maybe sign the food also in English. Because sometimes I didn't know what to choose because not speaking Portuguese.
It was also possible to stay longer after checkout (it's necessary to pay a fee).
But to conclude, I can recommend the hotel and would definitely come again, especially because of its unique location within the nature.

The zoo São Carlos Ecological Park is a cost-free, expansive green area with dense vegetation. There are various food and toy vendors near the entrance. The park offers two entrances; one leads to a children's playground and picnic tables while the other provides access to geese, birds, snakes, and other mammals. Located just 5 km from the city center, this natural spot is easily accessible and suitable for visits both on weekdays and weekends. It even hosts evening activities.
Lovely place to visit in São Carlos. Free entry. We spent 2 hours wandering around enjoying the beautiful surroundings which are really well maintained. Very tranquil slice of nature on the outskirts of the city. The animals and birds were lovely to see but the enclosures for most of them were too small which is unfortunate and should be addressed. Great place to bring kids and they have just built a lovely new playground.
Odhran Allen — Google review
The site is free. It's a big park. The place is wooded, and at the beginning there are places selling food and toys. After the entrance, there are friendly bees that don't hurt, and two entrances. Straight, access to children's playground and picnic tables. To the right, we go towards the geese, birds, snakes, felines and mammals in general, giving greater access to the park. The location is very natural and not far from the city, about 5 km from the city center. It is good to be visited both at the weekend and during the week, and there are even scheduled activities at night. I recommend it for all ages, as it is a very good place for walks and fun, as well as informal meetings and even lunches. Highly recommend.

Thermas Water Park is a spacious and enjoyable destination, boasting an array of attractions such as wave pools, slides, waterfalls, and a designated area for children. Snack kiosks cater to visitors' refreshment needs. However, during peak times like October 2022 holidays, the park tends to get overcrowded with long waiting times for popular rides, food services, and restrooms. The limited seating arrangement requires early arrival to secure tables and chairs.
Worth the 180R price tag! We had an amazing fun packed day and only wish we could have stayed longer! They should stay open until 7pm for sure. The wave pool is so much fun and just when you think you have been everywhere there is LOADS more!
The only downfall is not being able to bring your own food and drink into the park, I think they would attract more customers if that was the case because once you have paid 180R entrance (I think it's a little bit cheaper if you book online) then you pay 25R for the locker, 25R for the parking and THEN have to pay for food and drink all day it does start to add up, especially if you have a family!
However, this will not deter me from going again and again! It looks like they are adding more attractions as well so it can only get better.
I wasn't sure what the point of the big castle was but it was nice to look at.
I would prefer the lazy river to be deeper and also have a pool that's deep for proper swimming.
BEWARE the umbrellas at the table are made from plastic and not material so you can get a nasty bump on the head if you walk into one 😂
GREAT PLACE. Next time we will book to stay there!
Rebecca Banaszak — Google review
We had a great time at Thermas Waterpark! Although it is located at a two hours drive from Sao Paulo, it is totally worth it! They have many pools ant lots of different water slides, both for children and for adults.
D. Ayres — Google review
The place is nice but has some design flaws. I really like the wave pool, it has around the right depth and having waves for a full 30 minutes every hour is something I did not see in a park before, so that is great. The downside is that the wave pool is not that clean, multiple floating tooth picks and other trash (a pity). The other pools are more clean, but not all pools are transparent. The warmed pool is nice but I find that the pool is very shallow, less than a meter. It is nice that they play music around here and the pool is big enough that you can choose how hard you want the music (by changing the distance). The volcano has just too shallow pools, the pool of just 20 cm deep is a bit useless. The small stream also is too shallow, with 40 cm you cannot really float in the small stream but rather need to almost walk it. The water slides are very nice, but I think they should do something about small kids that move slow on the water slides because they are too light. This makes the lines long and also is not fun for the kids because they basically gets stuck in the slides, this is a problem for the blue whale water slide, the other blue slide, red slide, white/green and white/yellow slide. Maybe more water is a solution?overall, I really like the selection of different water slides and with around 10 slides in the park this is great. I also like they have a large part for young kids to play with water. The food I considered quite affordable in the park, pastels for 12 real is great. The pay per Kilo restaurant is a bit on the expensive side. At the entrance they check you bags for dangerous items. The parking is well arranged in the park. The park claims to be an international park, but one of the things not possible is buying tickets on the creditcard of a non-brazilian person. One thing I miss is a pool that is around 2 meters deep such that you can jump well. I considered the toilets nicely clean. Lockers are decent size.
F. Nobels — Google review
This is very good park, is a good place for telax, and for get there you can use google map is really good, about tickets you can buy from internet or if tickets are sold out dont worry you can go there and buy directly, price of food there is expensive,
Have a great time there
Reza Amini — Google review
The park is very beautiful and large, but the inner stores is a bit expensive and the attractions is very similar, mostly is waterslides varying in curves or slope.
The wave pool is funny and provides good and taller waves but is the only more deep pool in the entire park (1.55m). The other are about 1 meter deep.
But the entrance is somewhat cheap and kinda compensate the expense of inner shop purchases.

We went there on a holiday, October, 2022. We arrived at around 9:20, but there were already a lot of people.
Around noon, it’s too crowded. We needed to wait for everything, for example, water slider, cafeteria and bathroom. And also there was no enough space in the pool.
In addition, their table and chair were limited, we secured it at 9:30. So it’s better to go there early time to save the table and chair.
It’s great place for family but we recommend to consider the good date.

Great fun day out at water park. Thermas water park is a lovely spot. White slides need to add bit more water avoid long queues cause that slide take you slow.

This large, popular zoo with a lake & forest features many animal exhibits & an educational museum.
It’s a really worth place to visit.
As of April, 2023, entrance fee is 8 BRL per adult, 4 BRL per kid.
It’s not so big land, they don’t have any kind of animals such as São Paulo zoo, but it’s not crowded, we can see rare birds, monkeys, snakes and others.
Less than 2 hours is enough to see all.
We enjoyed our holiday there.

Good place to in family, 2 to 4 hours is enough to see all the animals, if necessary there are spots of drinking water through the park and a pic-nic area, and a restaurant inside the park, but not so good, outside has another options even better and cheaper.

This picturesque park offers an ideal setting for capturing beautiful family photos amidst the lush trees and colorful flowers. Beautiful area. The peacocks 🦚 and other animals are a joy. Great freedom to explore at your own pace. There is a part for native culture but the performance was cancelled because there weren't enough people. There was 10 plus of us there and no one came to explain it was cancelled which I felt was disappointing. There is a chocolate factory that has good products, although I've been to better chocolate factories in Ireland and Italy. Its a great visit for 3 hours but I think they have so much capacity to grow if they added some more activities, particularly with the native culture. It feels a little tacked on. Definitely would visit again and I'd encourage others. ITU the nearby city is also the best city I've visited in Sao Paulo for tourism, so far.

Located in the outskirts of Campinas, Parque D. Pedro Shopping is a sprawling enclosed mall with diverse retail options, a cinema and an airy food court with chain cafes. It receives 18 million visitors per year and contains 399 stores including 30 anchor stores, 20 restaurants, 49 fast-food outlets, a movie theater complex with 15 theaters, conference center and 8,000 parking spaces. In 2015 the mall expanded to include new gastronomic options at Alameda Parde D. Pedro.
Well designed mall with a central hub that allows for quick travel between stores without having to do a full circuit. Sprawling, lively food court with many options and plenty of seating. Good mix of big box and specialty stores that appeal to a broad range of consumers. Interesting artistic elements. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a tourist.

Parque Portugal, also known as Lagoa do Taquaral, is a renowned city park that features a stunning lagoon and a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts beautiful trees and flowers of all kinds and is home to families of geese, ducks, and capybaras.
Beautiful park (with free parking), well maintained with a nice 2.7km walking trail. The big boat was neat but only open weekends to go inside. The lake and all of the wildlife gathered around it (including capybara and cats) was very fun! The workout equipment is a neat idea, and they had water fountains and clean washrooms!!!

Better with family.
This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain.
There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids.
Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained.
It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.

It's one of the most known places in Campinas. It's a classic park you should visit if you are in town.
A lot of trees, tracks for walking/running and cycling. There is a big lagoon in the inside with an inner track. A lot of sports courts (basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc) of cement and sand.
It's a very good place to spend a few hours.
It's lacking some conservation and it doesn't allow pets inside, sadly.
More recently it is hosting some cultural activities and during August 2019 there was the DegustArt festival there with a lot of known restaurants serving food and drinks in small portions. It was very tasty! A fun fact: there was a lot of people from iFood (using the typical "motorcycle delivery uniform") grabbing the order on the table, going to the restaurants stands, taking the order and bringing to you. It was a cool plus.

Wet'n Wild is an expansive and vibrant water park with a multitude of slides, a wave pool, and occasional DJ-led events. While the food court options are limited and slightly expensive, children often delight in the burger meals available. Moreover, there are also more affordable snack choices that benefit parents financially. The staff members are exceptionally helpful and amiable. However, one drawback is the steep price for parking at 50R$, especially when considering the already high ticket price of 99R$.
The park didn't have many options of food courts, the food is a bit pricey but kids always enjoy to get the burguer meals. Options of cheaper snacks are also available which is a plus for the parent's pockets ! :)
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The only bad side is the expensive car park ! 50R$ seems a bit much when you pay 99R$ for the ticket itself (whhe buying in advance and not in a combo, with a combo is cheaper).

Avoid at all costs during the weekend.
I went with my 14 yo kid and 10 of his friends. Here is our journey:
* Parking is well organized and reasonably priced (r$ 60)
* It took us 75 minutes to get in the park - that's because we bought tickets in advance. There was no shade, drinks or staff in the entrance line
* We had to wait 60 minutes more in line to get a locker.
* We chose a ride that was not too busy. We "only" had to wait 45 minutes in line. That means that it took three hours from the time we arrived to the time we took our first ride.
* The kids took another ride and off we went for lunch. 35 minutes in line, and the tables were dirty and full of flies. What an unforgettable experience to have lunch surrounded by thousands of flies.
* We took one most popular rides in the afternoon and it was time to go.
* In a nutshell, we arrived at 10am and left at 4 pm, for a total of 6 hours in the park. We took 3-4 rides, each of which lasted about 45 seconds. That averages out to 2 hours wait for every minute of riding.
* Staff is friendly, but poorly trained. When we want to buy an ice cream, it took staff 3 minutes to sell one popsicle.
* Management don't apparently enforce any capacity limit to the park. There were clearly four times more people in the park that there should be. There is zero chance lifeguard could see any kid drowning - which luckily didn't happen.
* There is medical examination to be in the park - and there were a few people with obvious and apparent skin diseases that shouldn't be there.
That, combined with a 35 degrees Celsius temperature made this trip the worst trip of my last 20 years of life (where I have been travelling extensively for work and tourism across 25+ countries in 5 continents)
Oren Pinsky — Google review
Great day out, I really enjoyed this water park and my 11year old neice also had fun. The park wasn't busy, queues were short, it was clean and tidy and the food and drink on offer was of a good enough standard. The yellow capsule drop slide was scary but fun, and the white half pipe and family rubber ring slides were my favourite. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone to visit and would go again.

Super legal! Great amusement park for the whole family. Each area has its own special magic, from Egypt to The Wild West. Hopi Hari is growing and I'm excited to see what comes in the future!

Hopi Hari is a nice theme park to spend a day. I highly recommend purchasing the VIP pass because the line wait times prevented us from riding all the rides; the VIP pass is quite expensive though. The rides we rode were fun and the evening show was amazing! The food quality was average but I enjoyed the bacon and cheddar fries.

It's a good place, the biggest problem is there's no free water to drink, covid is over already but you can't find water, only way it's to buy a water bottle.
The hamburger is really bad but at least is cheap, the buildings is in need of repairs.
Now on the good side, a lot of attractions, a big team to help you, organized line and almost all works are smiling.
Matheus Martins — Google review
I paid R$130 to go in 12th of September of 2021. I managed to do go to just 1 ride (the teacup that spins). All the lines were at least 02h30 long. I used to go there as a kid, but it is not the same thing anymore, they don't respect the customer, and even though lines are common in every amusement park, nothing is like Hopi Hari, and I've been to over 20 amusement parks in 4 different continents.

It’s a very nice amusement park in São Paulo! Definitely gonna come again!
MsKrystl — Google review
The place is great but they let too many people in at the same time. I paid R$129 for my ticket and I managed to go on two rides. I had to stay in the queue for just under two hours for each ride which is totally unacceptable. Would really think twice about going back again. Very unfortunate as this was the same experience for thousands of other people who paid this price for a fun day out. Not to mention the expensive car park fee too.
David Kelleher — Google review
The park is old, lacks maintenance, is rusty, and outdated. We paid more than 200 BRL per person for a standard pass at the entrance because we couldn't buy tickets online, and it wasn't worth it. The queues for the main attractions took more than an hour, even though we went on a Monday, expecting it to be less crowded. However, school groups were present, ensuring long lines. The only redeeming feature was the live shows. In conclusion, I don't recommend visiting this park.
Miguel Angel Guerrero — Google review
Great place! The day I visited (Feb 9th 2019) the park was very clean and with just a few people inside, I would say 2500 people. The lines were incredibly fast. The restaurants had slow service. The park is recovering from a strong crisis. It has been refurbished and everything is shining new, but the low number of visitors is still a sign that it still have a long way to go. But I loved it! 10!

Vitória Kuo — Google review
Great park with very interesting concept: the place is its own country, and fun is the main rule. Unfortunately, they've always had financial issues, which currently leads to ever-in-maintenance attractions and the feeling that all of its potential is going to waste. Some of the coolest attractions were closed on February-21, when we visited the park.
Employees are polite and gentle, but nothing compares to the reception at the entrance: clowns and other artists sing, dance and welcome the public, with contagious joy and excitement. They also seem concerned about COVID and wearing a mask is required at 100% of times, besides every attraction is cleaned with alcohol after a guest leaves.
Attractions are not as radical as they seem, but roller coasters are definitely worth the experience. The wooden one is not only impressive, but it also crosses the road near the park, and is an unique experience.
To avoid the kilometric lines, it's recommended to acquire a VIP pass. However, it costs BRL 120 or more (depending on the day), twice the entrance ticket value. This is expensive for Brazilian standards, but unfortunately it's the only way to have fun and enjoy your day at the park without wasting hours waiting in line.
Food is overall too expensive and not tasty, so it's also recommended to take some snacks and try not to eat much. Taking water and sunscreen is also the most important thing and this is located on the countryside, and sun seems to hit differently when compared to São Paulo.
To save money, take an Uber from Jundiaí train station.
Overall, park fans can get a great experience for an expensive price. I wouldn't recommend it for people who are not willing to spend money, people who are not already willing to give it a chance, or very tall or large people (attractions seem designed for smaller and skinnier people. Most are not fit for people above 120kg, so a bigger person wouldn't fit a roller coaster seat, for example)

Fun day trip from São Paulo. The queue can be a bit long at the popular experiences, still worth a visit.
