A local market which suitable for local and tourist to come and enjoy shopping, eating or just for leisure sightseeing. Great ambiance for shopping local items and taste the great local dish. Bring extraoney is a great advice to give 😂.. Near to mosque and heritage attractions at the city centre. Public transport also easy to get.

This is a very interesting market to visit. Most of the stalls are managed by women. You can buy many local stuffs here from daily necessities, clothes, food, fruits etc. Interestingly, some of the things here are quite cheap.
It's a one of the must-see places when in Kota Bharu

Really great local market and tourist friendly too. Anything from wet groceries to clothes and even exotic food can be found here. Got local traditional goods sold here. You can haggle for lower price.

Interesting place but in terms of cleanliness is not satisfactory. I first went to Pasar Siti Khadijah Kota Bharu. In my opinion this place is not suitable for tourists. Only suitable for buying daily wet goods. I hope the State Council can upgrade this market to attract foreign tourists.

💢 This is a must visit place if you are tourist as this is one of the iconic of Kelantan. Come early in the morning to witness the bustling of the market. Came late but still operating. There are lots of sections. For this photo spot, you may go up until level 2 to capture this shot. Go to the center of the circle.

Old Market & not for wheelchair users. The parking lot is quite hard to get. Ground floor is for wet market, fruits & goldsmiths kiosk. 1st floor for goodies & 2nd floor for clothes. Overall I am quite happy with my shopping experience here..

Attention to all tourist!
Market only open from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm.
Only have few premises selling local items.
Please negotiate before buy anything here.
Old building, the management did not maintained the maintenance.. sadly to see now.
Try to avoid friday, mostly shop closed on public holiday.

One of the last few places we visited in Kelantan was the Pasar Siti Khadijah Market. We always say that the food selections available in the market always reflect the destination’s culture and way of living. True enough, after visiting Pasar Siti Khadijah Market, I can attest that the food and culinary offerings of this place clearly tells us that the culture and traditions of Kelantan are very much colorful and interesting.

A very beautiful combined wet and dry market with all other kinds of retails like the sarongs, shoes, home accesories, toys and etc. It is easily one of the biggest and organized market in Malaysia, where u can get almost everything for your normal household usage. Some of the items are really nostalgia, reminiscent of your childhood time.
The design of the market is colourful and airy to make you have a better grocery and household shopping experience!

This market is a must-visit for first-timers in Kelantan, almost serving as an iconic location. Whether you're interested in shopping or photography, it offers a unique experience. While the market is old and hygiene standards may not be high, the sellers are extremely friendly.
We couldn't resist purchasing some keropok ikan and a pack of Thai fragrant rice 😆 to take home. In terms of pricing, we attempted to negotiate, but most stalls had fixed prices. Unlike other wet markets I've visited in different countries, there was no starting with a high price for bargaining purposes.

A must place visit to shop many kinds of needs from wet food, dry food, vegetables, kelantan special spices, foods like nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, laksa / laksam, kueh mueh such as jalanmas, buah tanjung, taik itik and many more. To the woman accessories, batik, songket and men’s batik shirt. The most important is the price very reasonable.
Zaharimah Mohamad — Google review
Building is too old, crying urgently for an upgrade! Not stroller friendly, need to carry from a level to another. Didn’t notice any elevator. So I gave up Not forgotten the stench🤮🤢, and the heat🥵🔥but the foods & goods are cheap & authentically kelantan. Too bad the environment do not serve a comfortable ambiance for tourists to shop👎

Siti Khadijah Market
Jalan Buluh Kubu, Bandar Kota Bharu, Kota Bharu, Kelantan
Siti Khadijah Market is a vibrant hub of activity located at Jalan Buluh Kubu in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This market is a treasure trove of delights, offering everything from fresh produce to hardware and gifts.
Not a highlight of my visit was the wet food section, where you can find an array of fresh fish, chicken, and more. I always seemed to enter the market through the fish stalls, which added an unexpected splash, and smell of adventure to my shopping experience! LOL.🤣
The market also boasts numerous fruit stalls, tempting you with their colourful displays. Upstairs, you'll find a variety of food stalls offering delicious local cuisine that will tantalise your taste buds.
Overall, Siti Khadijah Market is a must-visit destination in Kota Bharu, offering a lively atmosphere and diverse goods.🤗🤗🤗
Peter Codling — Google review
As the daughter of a Kelantanese man, it is utterly sad to see how unkempt, dirty, half-empty, and dark this market has become.
I brought my non-Malaysian husband here, and I felt ashamed to show him this, but he insisted on coming to see the market that has been named after the first wife of Rasulullah SAW. Even Siti Khadijah RA would be embarrassed to have this market named after her.
Please, local government, do something. Stop bringing bad vibes to the religion.
NikIqa Ghazali — Google review
If you're in town, you should come over for shopping. Good bargain for good quality stuff - anything u want us here. You just have to look for it. And dont miss the food section where you can enjoy delicious dishes. Mee celup, laksa, laksam. You name it.

Last time was viral. Now, I came just to see the unique of the building but turned out it was old and not established well. Can't say more but they selling variety of Thai's products and every each stores selling the same one but different price. So be aware.

Embarking on a weekend journey to Kota Bharu with my wife and friends, we eagerly delved into the local experience at Siti Khadijah Market—a top-rated destination for authentic products. Nestled in the city center, the market's vastness was immediately apparent, surrounded by ample free parking. Despite parking a bit farther due to the morning rush, the journey proved worthwhile.
The market's diversity impressed us, featuring sections dedicated to fruits, vegetables, hawker stalls, desserts, traditional clothes including batik and fabrics, a wet market, herbs and spices, as well as cafes and restaurants. Our exploration stretched for a delightful half-day, during which my wife's enthusiasm for shopping was commendable—I had to intervene to prevent an entire day spent in retail therapy! 😆
After our extensive tour, we opted for a brunch featuring Kelantan's renowned dish, laksam. Recommendations led us to Cek Yoh Cafe on the first floor, where we relished a generously portioned bowl. The laksam's flavors were delightful, especially the rich soup and well-prepared vegetables.
While transactions leaned towards cash, with some offering interbank transfers, e-wallet usage was relatively low. The market, in general, appeared somewhat humid and less pristine, possibly deterring international tourists. However, as locals, we found the atmosphere acceptable. Enhancements in cleanliness and ambience could undoubtedly elevate its appeal, making it more welcoming to tourists from around the globe in the future.

variety of local products. can find all traditional food and fabrics here, fresh products and also gold jewellery.

Interesting......the food area some folks may seem slightly assertive to come and eat.at their stall but actually they are very nice. Prices too change. If you merely asking prices are high once you say ues i want to eat prices go down. Cleanliness has dramatically improved from the last time i was here precovid.

One of must visit. You can easily find fresh vegetables & fruits with cheaper price. The wet market is on another section. The food section selling different kind of kuih with a very cheap price you cant find anywhere else. Not to mention the hawkers were all friendly and kind

The Handicrafts Village in Kota Bharu, Kelantan is a museum showcasing locally made handicrafts such as embroidery and silverware. The museum can be found on the upper level of a wooden building styled after rumah panggung. On the lower level, there are souvenir and food shops along with plenty of cats roaming around. Visitors interested in purchasing a keris should check out the corner shop offering intricately carved handles as well to avoid airport security issues.
Lovely space, i mostly come here for the nasi ulam cikgu
Amos — Google review
Ticket is rm2 adult and rm1 for kids. Inside see batik costume display and some old style machine. Outside only 4 shops opened. Handicraft, batik, painting and keris shop open. I don’t really recommend to come here

needs a lot of upgrading for this handicraft museum. The museum is boring and not worth visiting. The workshop is empty and quiet.

Informative and well presented.
The museum in the Handicrafts Village of Kota Bharu is one of the places worth visiting while in Kelantan. It gives a very good overview of Kelantanese Batik, its particularities and different patterns.
As Malay custom requires, one needs to remove its shoes before entering the museum. The ticket price is very affordable and we feel money well invested.
The main part of the museum is about Batik and its various patterns. The place showcases batik costumes as they would have been worn by different members of the society.
Apart from Batik to museum showcases traditional Malay objects and artifacts.
We spent about an hour in the museum and the adjacent buildings and found the place being informative, clean and well maintained.
Afiza And Andrei — Google review
My first time coming here and I like it. RM2 fee if you want to enter the museum. Not that big but sufficient information to know about batik and songket. If you wish to try drawing the batik, you pay RM10. There are few shops selling souvenirs with reasonable price. There is also a restaurant selling food which is famous in Kota Bharu, Restoran Nasi Ulam Cikgu. You should come here if you are visiting Kota Bharu
Maslihah — Google review
A very informative & interesting village.
You also can learn history of Kelantan Batik handmade. Even, you can get a great experience to learn batik paintings here. There also Kampung style buffet lunch with affordable price. A lots of ulam.
The variation of fried food such as chicken, cat fish, quail - everything was tempting, even the omelette. Easy access to the location.
NURULAIN MASRI — Google review
Not recommend to enter the showroom although the admission fee is cheap. The batik colouring at down stairs is worth to try
Chard chard Ngu — Google review
Nice old buildings and worthwhile to just wonder around. Went around 10 am and only few shops open selling tourist souvenirs. Batik shop seems to take biggest space but only opens by 11 am. Museum is at first floor and no shoes allowed from staircase onward. Strange caution to carry your shoes around for safety. Staircase was dirty, therefore did not want to go up.
Paul Gerarts — Google review
Nice place to visit to chill and get food. The Handicraft Museum is quite small on the upper level of the rumah panggung styled wood building. Lots of cats, some sparse souvenir and food shops on the lower level. Take a look at the Keris shop in the corner if you would like to bring a Keris home, or even the intricately carved handle if airport security issues are a big worry.
shai tahir — Google review
we had a very nice experience here. The kids get a chance to learn batik painting. And there are craft surviner shop too.

Beautiful temple and worth visiting. I've been here multiple times. There's shops at the side to eat and have some drinks. The temple is well maintained and clean. There's many dogs here so just be aware.
Surendran Mahendran — Google review
The main attraction is the large reclining Buddha. There is a smaller sized four faced Buddha situated on its left front. There is another side temple housing the Kuanyin goddess. Near the entrance is a small stall selling fresh coconut drinks. There are other buildings for meditation and prayers.
Ty lee — Google review
This Wat Phothivihan or fondly known as Sleeping Buddha was supposed to be majestic - it is indeed majestic as the sleeping Buddha might be the biggest in Malaysia.
But upon reaching this temple, the situation can be described as deplorable. It is very clear that not much maintenance has been done to keep this temple.
The cement roof on top was seen cracking, the Buddha status was dirty with dust, stains and even bird droppings. The dogs loitering in the temple compound had mange and looked very sick.
I hope that the management will bring it back to its former glory.

This Thai Buddhist Temple is located in Kelantan.
It is a very popular temple. The huge "Sleeping Buddha" is a very popular attraction especially among the Buddhist followers.
A popular place for photographers too.
The Temple has a huge compound. The compound is clean and well maintained.
The accessibility of this temple is good and simple. The temple is located next to a main trunk road.
There is a huge parking area for visitors and tour coaches.
Well maintained washrooms are also available.

I think it is still under construction to further renovate it. It's very empty, doesn't look like someone is managing it. The sleeping buddha is definitely big, but not as grand as the ones in Thailand.

Clean and beautiful mosque. Plenty of parking space here, and also not far from the famous Rantau Panjang
khairol iruwan — Google review
The mosque looks absolutely stunning with Chinese influence in its shape and architecture. It was drizzling when we arrived for prayers. The place is soaked and water can be seen dripping on the walking pavement in the mosque. This poses a danger for people walking in the mosque.
The mosque with its unique architecture, however, has many steps and turns for worshippers to arrive to the prayer hall.
As we cleaned ourselves in the toilet and proceeded to do the ablution, it was quite a distance to walk to the prayer hall while taking some steps. It would have been better if the mosqes is mostly flat and worshippers can move easily from one place to another. This is not an old-people nor disabled-friendly mosque.
Parking is available at the front and surrounding area of the mosque.

Last time it used to have a lot of shops however due to major fire incidents and big flood, only few shops left, hence the price pretty much controlled even though the seller is using excuses of weak RM against Thai Bhat.
Last time used to pay RM25 for a good "AAA" quality however in 2018 it is cost me of RM35. Whilst player issues priced at RM45.

Stunning small historic mosque with Arab sailor connection. The gothic windows of importance as some of the design elements prevalent in Gothic architecture can trace their origins to the buildings of the Umayyad dynasty, a Damascus-based caliphate whose descendants later ruled Moorish Spain. (Known as the first great Muslim dynasty, their rule began in the 7th century.)

Oldest mosque in South East Asia, dated back to Ancient Pattani City. It survived many wars & attacks throughout centuries. Original dome was damaged during 1 of the war. You can still see bullet holes on the walls & doors. Still being use to perform prayers. Well maintained. Wheelchair might be a problem.

Wat chang hai is a famous temple near Pattani which is about a hour drive from Hatyai. There is a railway track at the front of the temple which is still working and connects Thailand to Malaysia. This temple is said to be over 300 years old with spacious grounds.
Well-known 1954 mosque with elegant architecture & regular prayers in peaceful surroundings.
This place is one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in Thailand. It has a large, central dome surrounded by four smaller ones and two minarets. The mosque contains a large prayer hall and long corridors. It is fronted by a big pond. When i see the mosque i remember Taj Mahal in India because i think the architecture has some similarity with Taj Mahal. May Allah Subhanahu wata'ala bless all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Pattani.

"I recently embarked on a journey from Songkhla to Su-ngai Kolok, and one of the standout highlights was our stop at Pattani Central Mosque. The mosque, a true architectural marvel, surpassed expectations with its immaculate cleanliness, shiny floors, and the natural flow of air through its open doors and windows. The design allowed for a serene and refreshing atmosphere, enhancing the overall spiritual experience.
What made this mosque even more remarkable was its multifunctional nature. Beyond being a place for prayer, it served as a comprehensive community center. The vast land surrounding the mosque was dotted with numerous food stalls, each offering a delightful array of local cuisine. It wasn't just a place to pray; it was a hub for social interaction, gastronomic exploration, and relaxation.
The presence of well-maintained washrooms and designated rest areas further emphasized the mosque's role as a community focal point. It became evident that this mosque was designed not only for spiritual practices but also for broader community functions. The seamless integration of cultural, social, and spiritual elements showcased a thoughtful approach to architecture, making it more than just a place of worship.
As we continued our journey, this unexpected gem left a lasting impression, challenging preconceived notions and adding a deeper layer to the cultural exploration of Thailand."

Located on Yarang Road on Yarang-Pattani route in Pattani Mucipality, this is the most beautiful and largest Mosques in Thailand. Built in 1954, the construction of this mosque took almost nine years. It is the centre for religious ceremonies to be performed by the Muslims in the south. The architecture is western, with similarity to the Taj Mahal of India. With the big dome in the centre, there are four surrounding small ones with two finerets. A big pond is in front of the mosque and inside is a large hall and two sided corridors.

The highlight of this national park is definitely its waterfall which can lead you to the top of the mountains, where a big Buddha locates.
It’s such a huge waterfall with clear and chilly water. I rarely see any trash in the area which isn’t surprising because foods are not allowed. But they have eateries right at the starting point. They also have the restrooms close to the parking lots.

Namtok Sai Khu waterfall 9 fall) is worth a visit and for once it is free to enter. On the other hand, you have to walk the last 300 meters up to the car park, unless you drive a 4x4 or SUV. The road is completely destroyed.
There is NO water in the waterfall for very long after the rainy season, so a visit right after the rainy season is the best time.
The place is completely unsuitable for people with reduced mobility.

Namtok Sai Khao National Park and the waterfall in the beautiful province of Pattani in South Thailand is a must visit for anyone visiting the South of Thailand.
It has a good track / footpath and is not hazardous, unless you are careless. This place is an ideal place for any photography enthusiasts who is interested in capturing the nature. This is an ideal place for kids and family to beging an adventure of trekking.
A quite environment with beautiful sound of the waterfall makes you feel relaxed. The place is not crowded. This is an ideal place for camping and having fun with your family.
Unlike many other waterfalls through Thailand, this waterfall is heavy flowing and is worth all the money that you pay at the entrance. There is a small entrance fee.
Very friendly staff (park rangers) who are willing to accompany you to the highest point possible of the waterfall. They give you a guided tour. Of course if you don't speak Thai or Malay language, you need someone who can speak Malay or Thai language to translate.
There are toilets with water, but no toilet paper. Toilets are generally clean. Light snacks and soft drinks are available.
Negative points
No public transportation to the park. Need to organise your own transportation.

1 of the simple sightseeing u can see which isn't that far from samila beach. There is a small tram that takes u to the hilltop to see the temple up there. Cost 30baht per adult and 20baht per child. Can't remember but if not mistaken if it's child is less than 90cm it's free. View is nice at the top but aside from that there is frankly nothing much to do here. Qué to get into the tram can get crazy during peak seasons but u probably can skip this for more interesting sights elsewhere

Sadly the aviary is now closed, but this very big park is still a magnificent place, with gorgeous viewpoints and lots of rare trees. Good place to walk in the evening for chilling and picnic. All you have to do is bring your own mat, cups, plates, rubbish bag and cutlery. Along the street, there are people selling food and drinks; fried crab, prawn fritters, fruits and ice cream etc. The prawn fritters are so good, crispy with lots of prawn definitely recommended to get them. As for the mermaid sculpture, it's no longer golden as the name described. The best is just to take photo from far as it will be crowded and during pandemic, best not to touch it. According to my mom, the sculpture smells a bit weird. There are few activities you can do there like picnic, play kite, horse riding, swim or just whatever you can do at the beach. Washroom and shower room available along the beach by the small shops selling clothes and hats, 5-10 Baht per entry.

The Songkhla National Museum, housed in an 1878 mansion built in Chinese architectural style, showcases a diverse collection of archaeological finds, cultural artifacts, and folk art from various Thai art-style periods, including the Srivijaya. The museum is located in Thailand and exhibits items such as wood carvings, historical photos, and pottery recovered from a shipwreck. Previously the residence of a notable figure, it was later converted into a museum showcasing Chinese influence on the region centuries ago.
Another place worth visit which demonstrated how Chinese has influence in this region hundreds of years ago. All architecture is definitely Chinese from ancient time. The house of the governor of Songkhla in the past was transformed into the museum

Small museum full of surprises. We visited the museum without much expectations but we were impressed by the architecture of the old building and the rich artifacts and art works in their collection. We met the guide Mr. Wat who is so passionate to explain everything about the museum and Songkhla to us. He even introduced the famous temples in the city to us.

It's very expensive visit in Songkla. Very short time visit just within 20 minutes walk can finish. Foreigners 150 baht and locals just 30 baht. Not many artifacts can see here....

It’s a nice place to know the history of Songkhla, but they charge foreigners 150 baht yet only 30 baht for Thais. I show my work permit but still doesn’t work.
Alumi Lu — Google review
Museum with classic look. Loves the architecture. Entry fees for foreigners is 150 baht (MYR20), I would say no problem to contribute for this as I’m travelling far from Malaysia🇲🇾and this is one of the attractions nearby Songkhla so it is a must to visit place. 30 baht (MYR4) for Thais is okay. This is shown that the Thai Goverment loves their people. FYI, price for fridge magnet here only cost 20 baht each and 15 baht for 1 postcard the cheapest I can get so far. And thanks to Thai Government too for exposing the history of Thai’s Muslim lifestyle in the Museum and the story of the Keris too🇹🇭🫶🏻

The museum is small but well organised and rich with real-life relics and memorabilia. The captions are exhaustive and in perfect English: the history of the city is fascinating. A museum cafe opens at weekends. Recommended.

150baht for the tickets to enter (for foreigners) the museum is quite small, around 1 hour can be finished. It hv English & Thai information on each artefact.

Apart from vast, extensive sand informative museum exhibition, the building of an old Chinese estate itself is the true architectural masterpiece, extremely well maintained and surrounded by a lovely park.

Beautiful architecture, a very unique experience to be able to visit the museum at night during Music and Night at the Museum Festival.

An extraordinary place to visit if you like history and antiques. Some of the carved arts were stunning (2nd floor in the center room) Worth your 60-90 mins visit.

The Songkhla National museum was constructed on Chana Road in Chinese-style back in 1878 to serve as the residence for Songkhla's ruler. The place later becomes residence of Songkhla's upper administrative officers, the City Hall before converted into the museum for exhibiting southern artifacts in 1953. Today, the museum is the place to study and appreciate Local archeology, History, Culture and the creation of folk art as well as the remarkable artifacts collection of Na Songkhla family, an ancient family that used to rule the city.

ASEAN Night Bazaar Hatyai is a bustling covered market that attracts both locals and tourists, offering a wide array of clothing, souvenirs, and classic Thai dishes. Spread over two floors, this night market is particularly popular among Muslim travelers. The ground floor features stalls selling affordable clothes, shoes, watches, and beauty products like facial masks with samples for testing. While prices may be higher compared to other markets in the area, visitors can still try their hand at bargaining.
Salam sejahtera... greetings.
Shopping haven....lots of varieties...
Sellers were very friendly and nice...
Mostly fixed price but as usual bargaining can be done..
Place is very well maintained....organize too ...
Second floor is food section....great.
A place to visit in hatyai ...must go.

I would say it's a night market for tourist. The stuff are sold in higher prices here compare to Greenway. Some of the items you can find are like shirts, pants, blouse, skirts, bags, perfumes and so on. The prices you can try bargain but they wont put it down that much. There is one office clothes shop that are selling quite a good quality clothes along the 3rd or 4th lane at the front. Bought a pants there, quite a reasonable price and the quality are like Voir Executive. The food are generally cheap. Average of 50-100 Baht depends on what you have. The food court is very muslim friendly and we love the food, my family came twice just to have the oysters. We tried most of the food here. Overall I suggest to eat here but shop at Greenway night market.

Quite a big night market with many clothing stores at the ground floor. It seems like a popular place for the locals.
There’s a small area at the 2nd floor selling food. There are many stores selling Muslim food too.
Toilet is very clean.
Nice place for window shopping and get some local experiences.

LOTS OF FOOD CHOICES HERE! Some of the sellers can speak Malay so you don't really have language barrier problem here. Variety of thai foods, pretty trendy clothes and many more. It's like a morning market like your usual pasar but with more trendy things for youngsters

There are level 1 for shopping for clothes & souvenirs, while level 2 is mainly for food. There is also a space to chill at level 1.
The food in Thailand will never be a disappointment & price point will always be very affordable. Please make sure to visit here if you come to Hatyai.
Level 1 is for shopping, it’s quite a big place I had not have the chance to walk full circle as it was big, but if you plan to, please come earlier.

It was friday afternoon. Not many patrons. I head straight to the food section on the upper deck. You'll be spoiled with many choices. Mostly halal food. Most are okay, some just a bunch of processed food with spicy gravy. The clothes section on the lower deck exhibits almost the same generic products made in China mostly. Fake, knocked off items such as football jerseys from European big league clubs. Many souvenirs, fridge magnets and such. You know, the usual stuff for tourists.

I came here at night for dinner. Lots of food stalls upstairs. There are not enough places to eat, so many people are struggling to find tables to sit on. The food is very tasty. I get myself daging salai and sup ekor. Feels like I cannot get them at other places.
Downstairs are places to shop for clothes, bags, souvenirs. Also there is a money exchanger at the front

It's a 2 story old building located near Hatyai Central Mall. Many Thai delicacies & affordable prices. The walking path is very narrow & very crowded, especially at night. Avoid bringing too many valuable here. Air is stuffy & toilet not clean. It's best to come with tuk tuk or Grab. If you like cheap local clothings & imitation goods, many varieties to choose from & need to haggle price.
Lini Lynn — Google review
Visited to get a quick dinner. Found a very delicious ayam merah stall. The chickens are very tender and juicy. Slightly sweet flavoured, and matched very well with the green noodles or the rice. 50-60 baht each are enough to fill my stomach.
Seats are full but you can find empty seat if you roam around.
Make sure to throw the paper plates and cups in the prepared bins.

Cheap place to buy a souvenir rather than Kaysorn or Nora Plaza. Trust me, you won't regret it if you compare these 3 shops. It's a really good bargain to buy a souvenir to bring to Malaysia. The food shop on the 1st floor is also best. There are a variety of local dishes that you can try.

The Magic Museum in HatYai, Thailand is an entertaining and fun-filled destination suitable for families and friends to visit. The museum showcases a range of creative 3D wall and floor paintings that are interactive and engaging. Fun place for the family. The 3D Art now incorporates AR, and the pictures come to life now. The museum is quite informative, and they do have a cafe that serves simple meals and fresh bakery items.
There is a in house illusionist, Black Crystal, and they run show 4 times a day. Pre book your tickets for a confirmed showing. Otherwise, the shows only run if there is a min of 10 customers.
Parking is ample

We have the usual 3D art with AR. It’s a bit pricey for the number of 3D pieces. The magic show is good but most of its magic is shrouded in darkness therefore making the illusion not very convincing. Good to pass some time and taking photos and having fun

Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel Hat Yai is a straightforward establishment with simple accommodations that offer scenic lake vistas. The hotel provides dining options as well as a rooftop swimming pool. Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of town, where popular fast food chains such as MacDonalds, KFC, and Pizza Hut can be found at Lee Gardens Plaza. These eateries are particularly favored by young locals.
I have visited here when the Songkran Festival is held here. Very happening and it's fully crowded. Nearby is Food Street. You can have all the most delicious food here. The room rate is affordable, clean and most importantly you can spend a day nearby by just walking around surrounding.

If we consider location, cleanliness, service and price, this is definitely an ideal hotel although I said so with tremendous hesitation coz we certainly don't need the management to start increasing rates.
Also, I need to book and stay here again..so hopefully my little review won't fill up the rooms!! 😁
McDonald's is on the ground floor and there are lots of stalls and shops near the hotel. It's also within walking distance of many places or restaurant to visit. 😂
Ken Loy — Google review
Convenient location of the hotel. It's right above a good shopping area, plenty of good places nearby, and its has shops right underneath like McDonald's and all.
Night market is just right outside.
Hotel - Place rather old but still a nice hotel and they have the basic necessities provided. Clean towels and bottled water are given and changed daily.
Also plus point - there's two pillows, a big comfy bed - two super singles put together but sharing a king size blanket. Rather comfortable.
Need improvement on maintenance though. Wall power plug point next to bed is faulty(the one with a lamp plugged in). it's faulty in many of the rooms, not just mine.
And the room is super dark. They need to work on adding a main light to the ceiling of the room for sure.
Minus star because of the big cockroach in the corridors 😥😭😩
*** I understand that security is important but it's a hassle to enter and exit the hotel because of the security gate scan and bag check. (so take note for interested visitors)

Nice hotel room with affordable price. I took room without breakfast since they not serve halal food here. The room size is big.. have a bath tub. The hotel security are good. This hotel's best feature is it's location. It is central to all the city has to offer in walking distance. Any further you can hire a tuktuk. As a walk-in guest after a lengthy trip, I was too exhausted to explore other options. Initially assigned an old, dirty, and rundown room, I requested a change. The new room was an improvement but still didn't justify the cost. However, the hotel boasts a great location and provided commendable service.

an older Hotel very sparsely decorated but very clean kind of like a throwback to the late 70s early 80s. The breakfast buffet leaves a bit to be desired but it's included in the price and while not bad it's just not great. One of the upsides I was allowed to check in about 3 hours early as my train got in well before normal check in very nice of them. Another positive is they are right in the middle of town. The TVs get many channels but very few are English and the rooms do not have individual lock boxes in them which is a negative. Weighing the good and bad I would stay here again
Yesitis Dakid — Google review
Room was huge and clean.
Housekeeping service cannot make it. I have to call the front desk almost everyday in order to get the housekeeping to clean up the room, otherwise they will just take it for granted.
Having said that, I must gave the credit to the front desk, the moment you lodge a complain or feedback, they will take immediate action.
Overall experience was ok, but location is the selling point. It's within walking distance to Kim Yong Market great food and daily night market downstairs.

The hotel has a great location and staff is nice and efficient. The hotel feels neglected; the pool has not be taken good care of, doesn't have enough chairs or bar service. The room is real basic, refrigerator doesn't get cold enough. Most of restaurants in the building are no longer in business.
Hotel needs to automate system to work with elevator and gym. There is a difficulty access to gym but easy access to strangers in the elevator due to no key card reader. This hotel needs a serious update!!!

Before the Asean Night Market was crowded with visitors, people shopped at this place..now the conditions are quite quiet, but at night there will be a bazaar around the plaza and lots of stalls selling halal food and souvenirs. This plaza only consists of 2-3 floors.

That the hotel is at the heart of the city and that security and elevator help is abundant aside, there are two things that put this hotel above some of the the top ones in many other cities in Thailand: plumbing and air conditioning — infrastructures not easily updated with cosmetics. Hot water comes readily and controls for (water cooled) air conditioning actually work.

The staff are helpful and warm. Appreciate the early check-in due to travel schedule. Agree with some of the comments that there is a smell of cigarette smoke from the ventilator. The toilet at room 2606 has a stench that permeates the surroundings. I hope the hotel can do something about it before the next guest.

Kim Yong Market in Hat Yai is a bustling marketplace that offers a variety of imported snacks, dried fruits and souvenirs. It also sells dry food, clothes, shoes and bags allowing for bulk shopping opportunities. Along the street, vendors offer fruits and roasted chestnuts as well. This market is known for its affordable prices but it's important to know how to negotiate to get the best deals.
This market was packed on a Saturday morning. For a general orientation, fruit vendors are along the south and east sides, on the street outside of the market. The smell of roasting chestnuts here is incredible. On the ground floor you will mostly find clothing, shoes, and snacks of all kinds. The upper floor is mostly vacant, although this is where the electronics are found, along with a few perfume shops.

Market that sell lots of dry food, clothes and so on. Good for bulk shopping and if you can bargain really well, this is the place for you. Along the street you can find some shop selling fruits and roasted chestnut. You go in further, you will find more nuts, clothes, shoes and bags. Everything is cheap, as long as you know how to bargain. They just started operating again about a month or two following the pandemic.

Very busy wet market (indoor and outdoor) during daytime. The street vendors sell local farm produce mainly from fresh produce to dried goods. A lot of street foods and snacks by the road side. Just too many to choose until one could not make up their minds. Some food stalls take over from evening onwards.....

Great and charming place to buy food and convenient daily items. Traders will pester you to buy their goods due to competition but still respectful of personal space. Would definitely recommend for travelers to come here to at least soak in the unique atmosphere if not buying something.

You can find many fruits, nuts and clothing stalls within the market. A one stop location where you can get most of the goodies but it get really warm inside and most stalls are selling the same thing. I would highly recommend a fried chicken stall right outside the market, along the road.

It really depends what you are looking for, it's kinda like morning market and they have tonnes of stalls inside of the Kim Yong building which selling almost the same thing, e.g nuts, dried fruits, anchovies, dried shrimps and comparing the price on the street, the stall inside the building price is cheaper and you can haggle price all the way through, I'm not a fan of this but if you are, this is the place for you.
At the main street of the Kim Yong Market there's where the famous Kaitod Meena is located, the stall there, the price of the nuts are more expensive.
I will not return personally. 😅 It still might be a good choice to stroll around in the morning at Hatyai City.

Kim Yong Market is a large and busy market located in Hat Yai, Thailand. It is a popular place to shop for souvenirs, clothes, food, and electronics. The market is divided into two sections: the wet market and the dry market.
The wet market is located on the ground floor and sells fresh produce, seafood, meat, and poultry. The dry market is located on the upper floor and sells clothes, souvenirs, electronics, and food.
Kim Yong Market is a great place to find cheap souvenirs and clothes. However, the prices are not always the lowest, so it is important to bargain. The market is also a good place to find imported snacks and dried fruits.
Here is my review of Kim Yong Market based on the reviews I have read:
* **Pros:**
* Wide variety of goods for sale
* Cheap prices (if you bargain)
* Good place to find souvenirs and clothes
* Open late
* **Cons:**
* Can be crowded and chaotic
* Not always the lowest prices
* Some vendors may be pushy
Overall, I would give Kim Yong Market a 3 out of 5 stars. It is a good place to find cheap souvenirs and clothes, but it is not the most organized or tourist-friendly market.
Here are some tips for visiting Kim Yong Market:
* Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
* Be prepared to bargain.
* Bring cash, as not all vendors accept credit cards.
* Be aware of your surroundings and keep your belongings close.
I hope this helps!

Dried Jackfruit 1kg@500b
Chilli cuttlefish 0.5kg@550b

The experience of going to this market is quite exciting because there are different types of food. Muslims have to be careful when buying because there are also stalls that sell non-halal food. Too much variety of food. This includes a menu of dancing live shrimp and tanghulu. Viral food is also plentiful here. The overall price is reasonable. For coffee lovers can try The Black In Black which is at the end of the market and next to Starbucks. The area is quite dense and parking is a little difficult.

ตลาดกิมหยง, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110, Thailand
Wat Hat Yai Nai is an open-air temple that boasts of a colossal reclining Buddha statue, which is among the largest in the world. It's an ideal location to engage in merit-making, a vital Buddhist tradition with numerous ways of accomplishing it in Thailand. Besides making monetary donations to schools, temples, or local charities, freeing animals from captivity and allowing them their freedom is typical.
Great place to release fishes and tortoise. Making merit is an important traditional Buddhist practice and there are many ways of merit making in Thailand. Apart from money donation to the temple, school or the local charity origination, making merit by releasing the animals from the confines of a cage, or giving them freedom is typically done

Serene place with the third largest Buddha statue. There's a couple of smaller temples along the side. Ample parking around the whole vicinity.
There's a small praying area under the large Buddha behind where you can get incense or candles to bless the family or make donations.
Girls should cover their knees and no shorts shorts for guys. Husband wore knee length berms and thankfully I had a scarf to wrap my shorts.

given an avid lover for historical architecture and places of interests as i am, i would say this is a must visit no matter how tight your schedule is. Magnificent temples surrounding you and also, be awed by The Reclining Buddha's grandeur. even felt a sense of calmness when i got close to the Buddha himself.

One of the famous Buddhist temples in Hatyai area. This temple is located in the same area as other several Buddhist temples in the area.
There is a huge sleeping Buddha statue in this temple which is quite a worth to visit. Besides that, the historical architecture of the building is also fantastic. You will feel peace and calm when around this temple.
You need to remove your slippers & shoes before entering the temple for offering and prayers. You can actually enter into the Buddha statue from behind of the temple, but they only limit it to certain personal.
Staffs were friendly and nice. They close the temple by 5pm where you need to be there earlier.
You can find a huge empty ground just in front of the temple and at the end of the empty ground, you will find an old tree with an old bell, with seats underneath the tree. There is also a billboard stating the history of this temple.
There is a small temple just next to this temple that prays to the 4 faces Buddha. There is the statue of the 4 faces Buddha just outside of this temple which is also impressive.

It's the most famous temple in Hatyai. Sleeping Buddha on the left. We were called to be blessed by a monk. Then, we gave him a offering in cash in red packet. The monk drawn some lucky spell on my wallet and phone case 😊.
Don't miss out the rainbow stairs on the right (at the river bank). The devotees will release live fish there.

One of the reclining buddha in Hat Yai. I visited the location where there were no tourists beside me and a few people who’s doing prayers. It was my first time to see a huge reclining Buddha, which Thailand is known for.
I spend a few minutes in this area, it’s just for me to appreciate the structure and also to give respect to the people making prayers.

Awesome architecture and the sleeping Buddha is huge! Saw some Singaporean donors and it reminded me of home. So based on this, I would say the religious importance of this place is enormous to south east Asia! Do visit 👍

Known for its massive statue of a reclining Buddha, one of the largest in the world.
Mahattamangkalaram temple or “Wat Hat Yai Nai” by the locals, is located behind Hat Yai Nai market.
The atmosphere of the temple is still shady and peaceful, many Buddhists come to make merit and tourists like to pay homage to the large reclining Buddha image named
'Phra Buddha Mahat Mongkhon' that is 35 meters long, 15 meters high and 10 meters wide, which is considered to be the third largest in the world.

We were fortunate to be blessed by bhante when we went there yesterday.
To complete your good deeds, you can do charity by giving bhante needs such as robe, medicines, meals before 12.00 PM

It is a big sleeping buddha in Hatyai. The temple is located beside a school. The parking is free inside the temple compound but the parking lots are limited.
There are a wet market nearby and you can find 'release' fishes on sales.

2 Wathatyainai Rd, ต.หาดใหญ่, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110, Thailand
Songkhla Lake is a vast body of water that links to the Gulf of Thailand and is encircled by residences and mangrove woodlands. The shoreline is pristine, and there are several affordable food options available in the vicinity. This lake situated in HDY is quite sizable, boasting a considerable expanse of clear water that stretches as far as the eye can see.
This place is magical. Mom's hometown. Hat yai is in the south of the lake. And all around the lake are a few towns like khuan niang on the west and Songkla on the east of the lake. North of the lake would be Pa Khat. Here I am in the north side in wat pa khat. A lot of fishing is going on in this lake!
