(Translated by Google) Al-Akbar mosque library, located in the basement/Muzdalifah Hall. Straight next to the tower/car park. Kind of goes inside. The library is fun. Full air conditioning, lots of books, children's area computer. But a bit quiet. Maybe because it's too far in. The room for children could perhaps be made more colorful. It also seems like it uses too much electricity hehe. Comfortable for those who don't like noise.

perpustakaan masjid Al-Akbar, letaknya di basement/Muzdalifah Hall. Sebelah tower/parkiran mobil lurus. Agak masuk ke dalam. Perpustakaannya asyik. Full ac, banyak buku, komputer area anak. Tapi agak sepi. Mungkin karena letaknya yang terlalu masuk. Ruang untuk anak mungkin bisa dibuat lebih corolfull. Sepertinya juga terlalu banyak pengunaan listrik hehe. Nyaman untuk yg gak suka kebisingan.

This is what's left after the disaster happened in 2006. It's now a large area of mud, and the mudflow is still active until now. Not really a recreational place, but you can find some good photo spots here.

The worst and disastrous mining's environmental incident in Indonesia. Lapindo mud burst, May 2006.
The settlement of Lapindo mudflow victims in Sidoarjo, East Java, has not been completed yet. In May 2017, just after 11 years of hot mud burst, there are still dozens of casualties, both from citizens and businessmen, who have not received any compensation.

The Ciputra Waterpark is a large and popular waterpark in Surabaya, Indonesia. With many different rides and attractions for all ages, it's a must-visit spot for families in Surabaya.
This is the nice waterpark that I ever seen. The larga area just for havibg fun with water in different touch. Really happy and satisfiy to spend much money for good happiness here.
There are many spots for taking picture which is instagramable of course. Any cafetaria for visitors who need to fullfill their hungry.
Also any toilet, merchandise store and also security team to keep the are more ebjoyable and secure.

High-end resort on an 18-hole golf course, offering dining, 2 outdoor pools & a spa.
Had 1 night experience here. The price was affordable and worth it. Our family suuuper liked it. We enjoyed everything. The staffs are really friendly.
Got 2 cups free ice cream at jack's terrace, and free buggy car ride. There's also mini playground at jack's terrace; even your child can get free balloon 🎈
The food wasn't that great, but ok.
Would love to come back for sure 💙

This place has indoor and outdoor tables, so it is very convenient to eat while avoiding a lot of people during pandemic. Their pizzas are quite good, and the price is similar to other pizza stores. But their style is thin crust and crispy. And they have only 2 kinds of pizza, chicken or beef. But it tasted good. The outdoor tables are cozy and the park is beautiful. A good place to enjoy an evening with your family.

Great place for relaxing. Beautiful view, fresh air. With good hotel & food too.
This place so strategic, not far from Surabaya. Only 45 menit access by highway.
Far from traffic noise with green environment. Full of tree on the way to reach this place.
Much facilities in this place, golf, swimming pool, playground for kids, food court, driving range, billiards, etc.
Sometimes you can enjoy many events like concert, wedding fair, etc.
Near this area, you can find villa for sale or rent.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.. it really has all the facilities. Clean room, friendly staffs, delicious foods. You can play golf and ride a golf car for free as long as you're staying here. The place isn't too crowded.. very suitable for what most people call 'staycation' these days.

On the whole, we enjoyed the hospitality at Taman Dayu Hotel and we had a wonderful experience of staying there. Location is good, the staff is courteous, the facilities were awesome. I would definitely recommend Taman Dayu as it is a great place for guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

This review only applies for Taman Dayu's 3-bedroom villas (Argo Wayang, Arjuna and Anjasmoro)
To check into your villa, you need to get the key at the lobby which is located at the Club House (the same place where later on you have your breakfast).
After you get your key...you need to go back down to where you drove from until you find ALAM SEJAHTERA post on your right side...(right after Citra Berkat School.) Enter the portal then turn right to find which villa you are staying in.
Love the privacy we can get here as we have our own garage that fits to 2 cars.
The villas are equipped with rice cooker....microwave.....stove......tablewares.....water dispenser where you can always ask for a refill in case the water galon is empty 😊
Golf view 😍😍😍
1 of the rooms is located on the first floor (the same level as the entrance door, the living & dining room.)
The other 2 rooms are on the lower level with doors connected to the pool.
All the villas are equally beautiful but I must say Argo Wayang has the biggest pool 😁
The villas are definitely the perfect place to have a family gathering away from the city. Breakfast for 6 is already included in the price for the 3-bedroom villas. Definitely our faves ❤️

Sprawling, drive-through park with many wild animals at close range, plus shows & rides.
It was my fabulous first time to be here.
It would be suitable for family leisure.
Price is affordable and the animals collection are complete.
You could even see them from the near distance just bordered by your car glass.
More over you could also enjoy the amusement park.
I suggest you to visit on the weekend because the attraction is more various than weekdays.
Jo Glow — Google review
Big safari amusement park. If you go there by car, you can have a better experience like feeding directly animals. Monkeys are little bit scary, though. People sell vegetables and bananas before the entrance.
You can get something to eat or drink inside, but better bring your own, esp water.
Dolphin show is famous. Don't miss it.
There is an area of ancient Southeast Asian civilization. It was fun for me.
Y M — Google review
It was fun experience!
You have to be in a car or a bus for safety. But if you come by motorcycle, you can ride safari car/safari bus provided by the place.
Here, you can see many wild, cute, rare animals, and you can even feed them. Be careful in the carnivore area!
Besides, you can also enjoy their amusement park that is free (ticket included). If you are hungry, there is a restaurant and small shops available aswell.
The thing that makes this place lose 1 star because the cost of feeding elephant and giraffe are too pricey (we already bought a ticket tho) I mean if you want to charge us, please make it less than that.
Anyway overall this place is such a good place for family trip or even couple trip.

I’ve got the best me time in my life while at the Safari Adventure and Baby Zoo. The Grand Taman Safari Prigen truly elevates the experience by providing habitat-like exhibits, making it feels deeply connected with nature.
The staffs are friendly,
The shows are informative and entertaining,
The paid feeding sessions are worth the experience.
My top picks:
1. Kangaroo feeding (Nadine the grey kangaroo surely loves to eat!)
2. Penguin feeding
3. African zone in the Safari Adventure
Thank you, The Grand Taman Safari Prigen!

Definitely can't wait to go back and experience it again n again n again, per my son's request 💪🏻

Clean place, ticket entrance is worth the facility. And when you go home, you can see circus with low price but marvelous attraction. Recommended place for family who bring children.
Denny Ds — Google review
The place gets four stars, but with confusing and inconsistent information so I'm deducting one star. The place is decently maintained. It's not as clean or posh as Bali Safari, but then again it's much much bigger so I can understand the challenge. There's LOTS of restaurants with okay (touristy) prices. What's most disappointing is the (lack of) information. The map is out of date: some animals are not where the map says they would be. Both the website and the pamphlet contain wrong information about the show times. The only info you can rely on is the information on the actual stage, which you have to actually physically go to. So it's impossible to plan ahead and creates a logistical nightmare (especially if you bring children!) and we ended up watching only two shows that we luckily stumbled upon at the right time. Animal feeding time is also unreliable. One of the employees told us "the ABC feeding time is XYZ but that's not certain, it depends on when the animal handler gets here." Definitely not world class management there!

Taman Safari 2 Prigen is a haven of natural beauty and wildlife wonders. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the lush landscapes and the promise of encountering exotic animals up close.
The safari journey was a truly immersive experience. Driving through habitats that mimic the animals' natural environments made it feel like I was on a real-life safari. The excitement of seeing lions, elephants, and giraffes in such proximity was truly exhilarating.
But Taman Safari 2 Prigen offers more than just a safari. The animal shows and performances were a highlight. From the majestic bird displays to the entertaining elephant performances, each show left me in awe of the incredible talents of these animals.
The commitment to conservation and education is evident throughout the park. The informative signs and knowledgeable guides provide insights into the animals' behaviors, habitats, and the importance of preserving their species.
The park's dedication to animal welfare is also commendable. The spacious enclosures and well-maintained habitats ensure that the animals are well cared for and able to exhibit natural behaviors.
In conclusion, Taman Safari 2 Prigen is more than an attraction; it's an adventure that educates, entertains, and inspires. Whether you're a nature lover, a wildlife enthusiast, or simply looking for a memorable day out, this place has it all. My visit to Taman Safari 2 Prigen was an unforgettable journey into the world of animals and conservation. I highly recommend it to individuals and families alike. Prepare to be amazed and leave with a deeper appreciation for the wonders of the animal kingdom!

Generally worth a visit, even thought the place is slightly over an hour's drive from the city. Some of the positives:
+ Interesting drive-through experience
+ Plenty to see and experience - just about enough for a full-day visit
+ Other activities available in addition to seeing the animals
+ Good variety of shows and performances
+ Animals generally look well taken care of
+ Friendly staff
We did however encounter some issues with language as foreign visitors though, as some of the staff members could only communicate in Bahasa. The shows and performances were also all done in Bahasa, and that was largely the main and only drawback we encountered.

A great place to spend time with the family. The kids enjoyed the Safari and the interaction with the animals. But importantly learn about the animals. I wished there was a bit more information provided.
It does get quite humid in the day, so best to come early in the morning. Also after midday, there are a lot of people and it might not be very comfortable.
Compared to Taman Safari Park I in Bogor, I like this one much more because you get to have more interaction with the animals.
My only disappointment was that some animals look quite skinny. Particularly the monkeys. Not sure if they're sick or not eating enough.
Haris J — Google review
Good leisure resort with the kids. Very quiet environment especially night time.. conducive for mental relaxation. Morning there is a program to feed the animals at a fee. There is a trip around the park to watch all the animals available in the safari. You may buy animal feed (vegetables) to feed herbivores such as giraffe, camels, deers, llamas, zebras, even monkeys. Good for experience!

Indonesia Safari Park II Prigen is a fantastic place for animal lovers! 🦁🐘 It's located in Prigen, East Java, and is the largest safari park in Asia.
The park is home to a wide variety of animals from all around the world, including lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras, and many more. What's really cool is that the animals are allowed to roam freely in large enclosures that mimic their natural habitats, while visitors tour the park in vehicles. It's like a real-life safari adventure! 🚙🦓
In addition to the safari tour, the park also offers other attractions. There's a baby zoo where you can see and interact with adorable baby animals, a water park to cool off in, and even an amusement park with rides for all ages. 🎠🎡
The park is also involved in conservation efforts and has programs for breeding endangered species. It's not just a fun place to visit, but also plays an important role in protecting wildlife. 🌍💚

We had a great time at Baobab Safari Resort. The staff are all "on the ball". Their services is tip top right from the very first greetings to the last bid of goodbye. The dinner is great with variety of food to choose from, even to the aunthentic local food was served. While waiting for the dinner to start, we got the chance to feed the giraffes. We bought into the package that gave us access to Taman Safari Indonesia 2 which was so worth it. The experience we had cant compare to the price - we booked 3 rooms and the room we had is enough for my wife and I and our 3 years old daughter. Upon entering the lobby you'll already get to see giraffes, zebras, ostrichs, meerkats, a thriving koi fish pond and other African animals. Best part is all the animals look well taken care of as compare in the wildlife (from animal planet) haha. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating for our needs travelling with a little human and the rest of our family member of 4. Breakfast buffet is exceptional with loads of local fare that were delicious and we had chance to savour in all the food they serves. Only that maybe the desserts can be improved. Exceptionally among the dessert the "Tapai" and "Pisang" jemput-jemput is awesome! super delicious 10/10 would recommend a family stay here and will definitely come back here again.

Exotic animals, from vibrant tropical birds to lazing camels, share space in this playful local zoo.
The cave formation makes for a unique zoo experience, and it's not just for kids either. Adults could also learn a thing or two about caves here, and it's certainly different from other animal reserves. The ticket isn't expensive, and there is a wide variety of animals. I recommend it for the experience alone!

My family really enjoyed visiting this zoo last month. Even the maharani zoo is relatively small, we can see not only animals but also cave and visit some playgrounds inside the zoo.
We can see and walk through inside the cave with stalactite and stalagmite exotic. But some facility inside the cave too much. I think a 360 degree photo booth and many stones information board are unnecessary.
Car park spaces is limited, only at the entrance area.

We love the animals, the zoo has a good care of them. There are lions, tigers, elephants, monkeys, birds, zebras, giraffes, reptils and even flamingo! All look good. The cave was good. They have 360 degree cameras if you want to pose in the cave 🤭
Entry ticket isn't that expensive. Toilets and seats are available around the whole area. The small musholla at the front is one of their facilities.
Good place to bring kids for family or school trips. Worth the journey from Surabaya.

The zoo is clean, but so sad to look at the orang utans ... They seem like not feeling happy, probably they need wider and better cage. Better to have few collections but well-managed rather than a lot of animals but they live in poor conditions. The Goa is amazing tho it's not that wide. But the lighting for the stones collection is too dim. I believe you can provide better lighting so the stones will look more attractive.

A beautiful complex of tourism spot in Lamongan beach.
There are:
1. Wisata Bahari Lamongan, a theme park with water rides,
2. Maharani Zoo and Cave, beautiful cave which surrounded with animal museum and Zoo with exotic animal collections.
3. Tanjung Kodok Resort, a resort next to the beach to get some nice staycations.
Try to get promo info by checking their social media. Like buy 2 get 2 free tickets.
Bring your own water since there are not enough drink stalls.
The toilet is filthy, so you must bring some hygienic equipments.
The main menu in resto is just instant noodle cup.
Not every attractions and rides here is open when I get here, so 4 stars would be enough.

Batu Night Spectacular is a tourist attraction in Batu Malang that features many exciting rides, live shows, carnival games, and a market. It is open from 3pm to midnight. The attractions include Cinema 4D, haunted houses, lampion gardens, waterslides and also a kids' zone with many photo opportunities.
Honestly didn't expect this place to be this awesome.
I thought it's just a regular pasar malam with an unlimited pass. But no, it's got VR experience and all the techy rides, and all the (literally) breathtaking rides!
We weren't able to ride all since it was raining at night for a few consecutive nights. So make sure to go there when it opens in the afternoon and ride all the open air rides first and when it rains, you could enjoy all the indoor rides.
Also, so many gift shops when we're about to exit the BNS and the price was 👌.

Lots of choice, many people.
Felt a bit crowded and some of the facilities are a bit old but good way to stay entertained for a few hours.
We got the “all pass” for 120k and gets you into all rides (once) and attractions.
I think the Lampion garden was also our favorite.

BNS is a nice place for kids around the age of 8 - 18. Mainly a lot of attractions as bumpercar, ghost house, ect. Recommended visit in the night, for a nice view at Batu. But if you come in the night it can be very busy especially around the holidays.
Marinus Vincent van Daelen — Google review
The missing 2 stars is because some of the rides are not there anymore, I think I didn't see any new rides, some rides and many shops are closed. I don't know about the night lantern garden, but the others remain the same like years ago.

Going on rides at night time in Batu cannot be missed at Batu Night Spectacular. The area has a 4D cinema, lampion garden and fountain attractions. Not to mention some rides that pump up your happy hormone and create excitement within each member of the family. Make sure you come to visit this fun outdoor vendor under starry night.

Exploring Batu Night Spectacular feels like stepping into a fancier version of a Pasar Malam, leaving me with mixed emotions.
[++] The array of games and rides caters to adults, providing an ample dose of fun.
[-] However, concerns about safety linger, partly due to the casual approach of the staff in operating the attractions and, perhaps, the quality of safety equipment like belts.
[-] Despite these reservations, the overall experience has been enjoyable. An improvement suggestion would be more facilities for hand hygiene, perhaps additional handwashing stations or strategically placed hand sanitizer spots.
[++] The park offers a diverse range of attractions, from adrenaline-pumping rides to spine-chilling horror houses and laid-back carousels. Yet, the real standout is the night view and ambiance, setting it apart from other parks that are predominantly indoor or operate during the day. 🎡🌙
In essence, Batu Night Spectacular presents a unique blend of amusement and nighttime charm, making it a distinctive destination for those seeking a different kind of park experience.

Even though there are rides that trigger adrenaline, these rides still have high safety. Not only rides but there are also lots of good photo spots. The view is also very nice at night. Don't forget the many food stands and souvenirs that you can try and visit. Perfect place for a vacation with your beloved family.

The lampion park is the good part of it but mostly the lampions look pretty old and dirty. I recommend you to buy full tickets to experience all attractions but for me this place is nothing more like a night Market.

For spending some fun time with family and friends, this a goodplace to enjoy the night (as long as the weather is friendly). There are some amusement rides like 4D, Gokart, sky ride, flying swing, trampolin, merry go round, and many more. For the ones who like to walk there are lampion garden, trick art, witch castle, hunting ghost, rumah hantu, etc. Amusement for all age...

Beautiful lantern garden inside BNS. It's better to be here around 6 PM. This was my second time here; previously, it was about 5 years ago, and I didn't see the lantern garden.
Do not expect delicious food or fancy drinks here. It can get quite crowded on weekends, and the park also has a lot of rides to enjoy.

Awesome place, located in Batu, Malang, East Java. About 20 minutes from Malang city, This place is so great to visit with your friends and also with your family, it opens at night so we can see the amazing lights show in this place. It also offers many attractions to see and to play with.

Unique rides, though very nausea-inducing. It's a great fair to visit at night as in the name it shines brighter at night. Place can get pretty crowded during the weekends and public holidays.

Unexpectedly had fun here! Came by here not expecting much amd thinking it would be jist a kids' carnival but some of the rides were quite adrenaline-inducing like the spinning Viking! We also did Go-Kart for additional 60k for 3 laps. 40k ticket for entrance with 3 free attractions (a bit lame), 120k ticket for a range of rides, with other rides like VR available ala carte.
Very empty when we came here on Sat night so there was no wait at all.

As the name suggests this amusement park is better to visit at night time/sunset. The festive light display on the street and entering the park is very inviting. BNS is a perfect place for young people looking for fun and exciting rides.

We went here at year end, of course, it's crowd till we couldn't enter from the main entrance because the parking is full. So we redirected to the entrance 2. There are so many rides we could find here. But there is limitation age restriction that only 12+ children allowed to ride. It needs 120k if you wanna play all of the rides. And only 50k if you're just wanna sightseeing.

Jatim Park 2 is a zoo located in Batu, Malang. It has a secret zoo, museum Satwa, and hotel Pohon Inn. Museum Satwa is a museum with exhibits of animals that have been wetted down and also fossils from prehistoric animals brought from various parts of the world. If you are satisfied seeing wet specimens, you can see live animals in the Secret Zoo at Jatim Park 2.
Visit here during fast month, which you could guess that little visitor comes by, we had exciting moment during our trip, the secret zoo is one of the best attraction on Jatim park 2, even better than Singapore zoo in my opinion, the museum satwa as well, really enjoy during our visit.. bring your family, or your friends, I guarantee you will have fun and pleasure visit

Very large and full of things to see. Spent 7 hours and still only managed to experience 90% of the zoo and museum, didn't get to try Eco Green park or the petting zoo despite those being included with the ticket (140.000 Rupiah, well worth it). Recommended to arrive at the opening hours.
Wheelchair accessible. Not really wheelchair friendly. Lots of inclination, 8+ hours of pushing wheelchair was tiring. Electronic bike only available 1/4 way in (and the rent is 140.000/3 hours). Wheelchair available to borrow from the entrance.
Food court could have more food options.

Amazing modern zoo with reasonable ticket’s prices. Very educative, not only for kids but for the adults too. Jawa Timur Park 2 is a very suitable place to be a family tourism destination. The place is very spacious, clean and nice. The animal collection is quite complete, ranging from reptiles, birds and mammals. Besides being able to see animals, there are also many children's playgrounds that can be enjoyed free of charge. What I like the most is the Safari Farm, the concept of going around to see the farm animals with a safari vehicle. There are also many food stalls at affordable prices. This place is so wide that one day is not enough to try all the rides. By paying 150k, we can enjoy 4 exciting places; Batu Secret Zoo, Eco Green Park, Museum Satwa and Sweet Memory Selfie. It is well worth it.

I've always enjoyed going to zoos in Indonesia because of 3 reasons. Very informative, have multiple parks and animals are well treated.
Basic information about the animals plus other extra infos such as what do they eat/how do they live and such are placed around the premise in a very entertaining way. Suitable for all generations.
Multiple parks, when you pay for the tickets, you don't only get the access to the zoo alone, but also to the scream park, water park and amusement park.
Lastly, animals look healthy, and are kept in large space, able for them to roam around freely.
Also, be prepared for thick fog during evening, truly enjoyed the weather there.
Would definitely recommend this place 👍

I had a joyful experience visiting Jatim Park 2 last March. It has great collection of animals and they all seem to be taken care of well (to my relief). Aside from sightseeing, you can also enjoy the water park (for kids), theme park (I tried the roller coaster without having to queue) even visit the museum—all in one package!
The ticket isn't expensive, about Rp 130.000/person but it includes Batu Secret Zoo, Sweet Memories Selfie, Museum Satwa, and Eco Green Park. Mind you, the place is hugeee that I didn't get to visit all the places even tho I did spend the whole day in the park. It's advisable to wear comfortable shoes—but don't worry you can rent electric bike if you get tired halfway the park (you can only follow the route and can't find shortcut).

VERY COOL, ONE OF A KIND MUSEUM IN INDONESIA!
Museum Angkut in Batu, Indonesia, is an extraordinary and unique destination that offers a multifaceted experience combining art, culture, and transportation.
Upon entering the museum, you're immediately captivated by the detailed replicas of various types of vehicles from different historical periods, including vintage cars, trains, airplanes, and even ships. Everything is displayed with meticulous attention to detail and beautifully arranged, making you feel like you're stepping into a time warp.
The museum is incredibly educational for both children and adults. You'll learn a lot about the history of transportation and various cultures from around the world. Museum Angkut also boasts a fantastic children's play area, making it a family-friendly destination.
However, it can get quite crowded, especially on holidays and weekends, so it's better to visit on quieter days for a more serene experience. The admission fee is reasonable, and you'll get a truly worthwhile experience in return.
Overall, Museum Angkut is an incredible place to explore. It seamlessly combines entertainment, education, and cultural experiences into one amazing package. It comes highly recommended when you're in Batu, East Java.

Museum Angkut in Batu is more than a museum; it's a sprawling journey through transportation history and global culture. With over 300 vehicles, from horse-drawn carriages to airplanes, it showcases the evolution of travel. Explore recreated areas like a Dutch village with vintage cars, or snap a pic next to the Eiffel Tower replica! Don't miss the interactive zones where you can climb aboard some exhibits. Though extensive (plan a half day!), the diverse exhibits, photo ops, and reasonable price make it a must-visit for Batu travelers, especially for those with camera in hand!

A must visit museum in Batu Malang. It looks big from the outside, but it is super huge inside. Beside the museum-like appearance, they also offer plenty of instagramable themes and spots. Most vehicles available here are from bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trains, planes, ships, and camel. 😁😁
Aganto Seno — Google review
I love the place, its really worthed the price. The entrance ticket is IDR 120K. Thats extremely cheap if you value that for all the excitement you get. There are 8 zones here and full of excitement and attraction.
First you will go to Main Hall Zone or Vehicle Museum on the 1st floor. It contains many history of vehicles such as the first bicycle, the first car, the first racing car and first motor bike. They have driving simulation too and mixing car parts. I really amazed because they have absolutely stunning collections of historical and cultural cars.
You can choose to use stairs or lifts to go to 2nd floor. Here is the Education Zone. You can see the historical public transportation like a pedicabs, trolleys, chariots, charriages, horses, carts, wagons, trains and many more. At the edge they have formula 1 Ferrari section with driving simulator too.
While the 3rd floor can be guarantee is a nice experience since you will be leading and guiding to see and feel the presidential plane of Indonesia. You can also stop by to buy merchandise and toys here. The have flight simulator too and wind simulator with a decent price. They have playing ground between the 2nd and the 3rd floor with air themed.
Next you will enter the Sunda Kelapa Zone (Jakarta Batavia in colonial age). Here you will get vintage vehicles and the presence of what it might goes to live during that time. There are carts, wagons, early trucks and early cars.
Soon enough you will entry the gangster town and Broadway street. Here is the main attraction, started in 4pm you can see the stunning performance of professional called Man on Fire using MGA 1500,Datsun 280Z, Pontiac GTO and Stingray. Dang they will amazed you with their 360 degress spinning. One of the stunt even using smoking fire cracker while getting out of car and stand in the car while the car is still running. I will give this 96 out of 100. What a performance. If you lucky enough you can be picked by the stunt drivers.
Next is Hollywood zone, here you can be seeing vintage and cultural cars in many big movies. At the 5.30 pm they will have the parade and the dancing performance while using superheroes costumes. They also have the replica of Batmobile and Scobby Doo Van.
European Zone will come next with many photo spots. I have to admitted that this miniature of Europe is really well designed. The Big Companies from Italy, Germany, France and British all here. I wonder how can they get all this cars. Many of the vintage cars is limited and only been build very few like the french presidential car, the Queen Victoria cars and many more.
The Las Vegas zone is not that good only the exceptional H2 Long Limousine Hummer. They put the lights on the cars so you can clearly see how it looks. The zone also connect to flight simulator and flight practice.
Last but not least you will have Pasar Apung to rest your leg and grabbing some snack and have a bite of traditional foods here. There are also merchandise and souviner here.
You need to bring bottle of water and snack with you cause of the long road, and using comfort shoes or sneakers will also help.
Overall is 92 out of 100. I strongly recommended that you visit this place if you stop by Malang. Regards.

The food also good, I love the tofu!

I give my conclusion first, it is a museum which you won’t regret visiting.
The area is so large, it is divided into several sections, a main building with three floors, the first floor exhibits some automobiles, bicycles, motorbikes, helicopters from some decades ago, the second floor displays the model of vessels in several centuries ago, as well as carriages, and the main objects on the third floor are models of airplanes.
From the second floor, you may use the stairs to go to a platform, where can see the mountains and the national flag of Indonesia.
Besides the main building, there are several foreign culture display sections, one is the US and the other is Europe, my favorite one is the UK part.
At 4.30pm, a car and costume parade will be performed.
You can also find some food stalls, they are operated above a small river, it is called “water market”, ducks are swimming in the river.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, they are ready to provide help, when I planned to go back to the hotel I stay in Malang, it was raining heavily, one young fellow standing in the heavy rain helped me guide the driver to pick me up, I highly appreciate his kindness.
The price of the ticket is Rp 120k, if buy from app, it is Rp 113k, it is worth every penny, and you will get a voucher can be used as Rp 7.5k when buying food there.

Very nice complex of exhibitions mainly related to automobiles but also to different kind of transport modes. The collection is pretty amazing.
Has also driving skills shows outside. It attracts the public's curiosity for sure. Also, some differents aditionals modules are available, some of them can be done at extra fees.
Definitely an interesting regional attraction if you are interested in automotive and if you are in Malang. The kids will love it!

Came with no such expectation, but getting lots of recommendations to go visit. Very impressed, the venue is huge, warehouse after warehouse, never ending collection of motor vehicles. Some were indoor, some outdoor. Went thru' the whole thing in about 3-hrs time. For the entrance fee, a steal for sure ..

According to the tourism information, this ancient buding is a gate, not a tample nor "candi" actually.
Surrounding known this place as Gapura Wringin Lawang.
It is a clean and neat envirenment.
There is no any special admission fee to enter this place. All you have to do is pay voluntarily.
Gapura Wringin Lawang classified as Candi Bentar that is a building that has no roof, the function of the such building is as the outer gate of some building complex.

Great historical landmark from Majapahit ancient kingdom. It was a very important heritage and was the mark of the famous ancient Majapahit gate, as mentioned too in the old manuscript Nagarakretagama.
This place now though situated near by an important access to the national street, but still has its great ambience and quite atmosphere. Perfect place for finding a peacefull moment. Very recommended.

Today, April 21, 2024, in the midst of a soothing downpour, I sat on the terrace of my favorite cafe - dekaranganjar, Blitar - East Java, enjoying a warm cup of V60 coffee with my future wife, Eka, and my future in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Gan. The sound of the rain was the perfect backdrop for the warm conversation and laughter that flowed between us. Amidst the jokes and stories, I felt happy and grateful for this beautiful moment that strengthened our growing relationship.
It's a great place to enjoy a vacation, see history firsthand, nature and coffee.

Good for education. Had a tour to the museum, coffee plantation and see the coffee processing facility. Also a live demo for coffee brewing.
Nice camping ground with beautiful view.
Don't forget to buy the coffee. Their excelsa coffee bean is recommended one.

I had the great opportunity to do a Workaway at this plantation for two weeks and it has been one of the most fulfilling and wonderful experience I ever had.
The tasks we had to do were simple and we learned a lot of things! In addition, the workers have been helping us at all times and we have felt very welcome.
After that, the plantation is located in beautiful town called Blitar where charming people live and where we also discovered surprising places.
Finally, I would like to make special mention of the family/owners of the plantation who welcomed us as if we were family and took care of us. We're sure we'll be back soon!

You could have Indonesian traditional coffee at the cafe, they have so many books that you could read while you're enjoying your coffee. Open hours everyday from 9 AM to 5 PM. It is the biggest temple in East Java. It is used for Hindus devotees to pray. Actually there is no ticket for the visitors. You just need to pay cleaning service fee as you wish. No fixed fee. When I and my students went there, there was no guide available. The security guard just recommended us to read the information board and went around by ourselves. Yeah, it was okay but it would be more interesting if there was a guide that be able to tell you many hidden stories about this Hindu temple.
If you want to have some meals or buy souvenirs here, don't worry. In the outside of the temple, you may find them easily.
Let's visit Candi Penataran!

A small temple complex but quite beautiful as the main structures are well-maintained. The main temple has large reliefs that tell a legend in a similar style as a comic strip. Very interesting to circle the temple while reading. A worthy destination to add to your Blitar trip. Bring a hat as it can be quite hot walking around the area. My only complaint is that the carpark is located a few minutes away from the site. I suppose it's to support the local businesses as souvenir and snack shops are just lined up on the side of the street across from the temple.

Similar in appearance to the Arc de Triomphe, Simpang Lima Gumul is a renowned landmark in Kediri that serves as a bustling gathering point for cultural events. Despite its closure during the ongoing pandemic, this awe-inspiring monument remains an exceptionally well-maintained and pristine location that's ideal for tourism. Additionally, it boasts great photo opportunities and can accommodate large crowds without feeling overcrowded, making it an excellent place to spend evenings or nights out.

One of the few tourist destinations in Kediri. There are two spots mostly visited in the site: the Champs-Elysées look-alike monument, namely the Gumul Monument, and the Gumul Park right across.
The central spot, the Gumul Monument, has underground walkways connected to the four outskirts. However, only one walkway opened when I visited, the one from the parking spot and Gumul Park.
Gumul Park is basically a portable amusement park with knock-down rides, food stalls, and souvenir kiosks.

I'm going to review an iconic place in Kediri. Simpang Lima Gumul Kediri is a monument similar to the Arc de Triomphe of Paris, France. Simpang Lima Gumul has many parks suitable for children. It has an underground tunnel that becomes access to the monument, along the underground tunnel there are paintings about the diversity that exists in Kediri. Besides that, it has a large parking area, a nice and neat and safe arrangement. At Simpang Lima Gumul there are many street foods at low prices, scooter rentals and even some delman. In the monument itself there is a library, information center, toilets and elevator (not open to the public). With so many existing facilities, the Simpang Lima Gumul Kediri has drawbacks, namely there are no trash cans on street corners, clean but smelly toilets, and lots of swallow droppings on the monument, even the smell of horse urine disturbs visitors.

Recommended for people who wants to see Lourdes, this shrine have the exact replica of "Grotto of Massabielle" in Lourdes, France.
I came from Surabaya where it takes around 2 hours to get here via toll road. When you arrived, there is a passage surrounded by several markets before you reach the cave. There you can buy some candles, bottles for the holy water, or other souvenir like rosary or cross. There is some markets that selling foods as well.
This shrine is not open specifically for Catholics, all people from different religions can visit. This shrine is very peaceful, because the whole cave is surrounded by trees. This shrine have a lot of stairs, so be careful when taking stairs up or down.

The prominent feature of this place lies on its width, I suppose. You know, when we're shopping in a larger place, the air feels better, far from feeling suffocating. The cool temperature, bright lighting, and cleanliness add more comfort to those who want to shop around. The hypermart is located on the ground floor, ease us to quickly shop for groceries. Also, during this pandemic, the place quite strict in applying health protocol (you must show your vaccination card as a proof that you've been vaccinated, washing hands, and temperature check) which you can't skip because there's a staff standby ensure all visitors have done the protocol well.

One of a great place to spend the holiday with family. My advise is to visit here in workdays because every weekend will be really crowded. Bring the umbrella with you because the sun heat might be too much and just in case there will be rain. The horse ride is really worth to enjoy, as there are fixed price of it. The same like speedboat ride you can have it in a group with fixed price. There are many instant photographer in that area which only IDR 15,000 but really meaningful to keep the moment everlast.

There are boat rentals and horse riding here that we can get by paying 60 thousand rupiah. Many kiosks that in here sell food, clothing, and even fruits. The price of food here is also quite cheap. Many villas around here are also rented for families or backpackers. The area is far from the city because we have to climb mountains, pass through the valley, hahaha, I don't mean that... But we really have to pass the mountain (if our journey is from the solo city/central java) and it has an amazing view from the above. We can see the clouds in our journey. Feel the fresh air, not as big as Prambanan and the famous Borobudur, still that dont prevent me to visit the Candi Cetho. Sceneries are beautiful from up there.

Amazing view, large temple and rich history. Cheap tickets, cold and chilling breeze and many food stalls around the temple. The road to the temple is steep. Recommended to ride with 125+ cc motorcycle.

Cetho Temple is located near kemuning, tawamangu. The road is steep to the temple.
Its starting point for mountain Luwu trekking, which typically takes 9-11 hours. The temple was built in the 13th Century and grand. The view from the temple site is awesome. Usually its fog (kabut) around the temple but if the weather is clear one can have a great scenic view of tea plantations, farms and valleys. Worth travel .
Cetho cafe just near the temple is worth coffee and snacks.

The temple is on the mountain area, so the air is fresh, clear, and cool. Lots of stairs to climb, but the top area can not be entered unless there is a ceremony taking place. Good place for taking pictures

The Sukuh Temple is a Hindu temple complex located on a plain in Solo, Indonesia. It consists of a pyramid and several statues, and is believed to have been dedicated to birth and new life. The site offers fantastic views of the surrounding landscape, including Gunung Lawu mountain. The temple is decorated with fascinating reliefs and Barong statues that depict erotic scenes related to fertility cults that were practiced here.
This candi is the type of female candi and the other one (candi cetho) is the type of male candi. Inside candi sukuh there is a yoni statue. Yoni is the symbol for female genitalia, hence the female candi type

A quiet place away from the crowds. This temple is very interesting to visit, because the place is clean, beautiful and well maintained even though there are some temple buildings that are damaged. This place can be used as an alternative visiting place for those of you who love archaeology.

If you are traveling from Solo, the temple is reachable in one hour, give or take, riding a motorcycle, or you can also rent a car with a driver if you are looking for a more relaxed trip which will allow you to enjoy the view of surrounding rice terraces and tea plantations. So clean and fresh 👍🏻

This is my first to visit this temple, my first impression is.. wow.. Clean, tidy well manage the landscaping.
Be carefull on stepping up through the stone, especially to the top of main statue.
Every layer of the landscape must’ve had specific meaning and layer to layer are connected by the stone steps.
On the last statu altar you will found stone ornament with a good craftmenship and a hindu life phylosophy meaning.
Go up top and see the sorrounding of the temple. To my impression, I am feeling nice by being above of everything down below.. you know .. kind of..
Dont beleive it ... have a try by yourself.. enjoy guys 😀

I wonder what the real history is behind this ancient building. Similarity in shapes with the Mayan temples is too obvious. I personally think the reconstruction of the temple was too rushed, the story on the stone relief looks disjointed, some statues looked randomly placed. Sayang banget!
Such a great history, from a great nation.
The road going to Sukuh was a tough one, very steep. Good thing we decided to book a car with a guide, we wouldnt make it on motorbikes.

Candi Sukuh is good place to go if you want to see a Hindu temple which was built in ancient times. It has a great view since the temple is located in high altitude. Unfortunately, there are only a few interpretation signs.

It supposed to be great place but the ticketing guy is a crook, he knew I’m not a Javanese and he tried to charge me 50,000 rupiah for two! Although on the ticket written 7,000 rupiahs, bad move!
The temple is great and preserved well but just like anywhere in Java where the site isn’t much appreciated, loud voice of the visitors, bunch of ladies that not well behaved, taking pictures seems like more important than appreciating the religious aspect of the site

It's nice to see beautiful blue water of dam. However, the place looks dirty because there are too many sellers here and there. The local government should renovate this place so that the visitors can enjoy the sightseeing of the water. If you want to visit this place, you must not come later than 4pm as the ticketing center is closed one hour before the sellers/ vendors stop their service. Once, I came at 4:08 due to high traffic, luckily the officer let us in by paying 50K for 8 people! Yeah 👍🏻 By the way, the boat rent is 100-150K depending on how far the boatman will take you 🚢

Waduk Gajahmungkur, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java, Indonesia
Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace is a significant historical site in Central Java, Indonesia. Built in 1744, this grand palace showcases Indonesian architectural style and houses numerous artifacts such as sculptures and weapons. Visitors can take tours of the museum to explore its rich history. The unique main gate and antique view deck add to the beauty of this landmark. However, it requires some effort to visit as the road is narrow and ticket prices are approximately 15,000 IDR.
Nice place. Especially while you love Indonesian palace style. It’s just too dusty. Please clean it well. Ticket price is about 15.000 IDR while I visited. To visit here, really a lil bit difficult and the road is not that spacious. The local are nice people.

Yesterday around 4 pm we went there but unfortunately it was closed.

We visited the Keraton in a weekday morning, so it's rather quiet and enjoyable. We asked for Guide, and thanks to pak Kardi and Vero who shared so many stories about life in a Keraton. Unfortunately, during pandemic we could only visit the east wing (museum), and not allowed to visit the courtyard and its famous tower. Would give 5-star if we could visit the courtyard!
Buy your ticket at the museum, at the east corner of the palace. You can park car in front of the main palace gate, just to the south from Alun-alun Utara, or in the alun-alun if it's full and walk a bit. There're e-scooters for rental too! Entrance is 15k/person and guide fee is 70k. You can browse the museum yourself, but the Guide can make your visit more lively. Please wear trousers or long skirts, not shorts.

This palace is a heritage building that is a go to place if you ever visited Solo. Filled with so many historical stories and memorabilia. I suggest that you hire a guide to tell you some
of the most interesting stories there. There's this part where you'll be entering the Kori Kamandungan door and you need to take off your sandals, so I advise you to use shoes when coming here so you don't have to take them off🤣. Just like any other museum in Indonesia, the stuff displays here need a bit of cleaning for our viewing pleasure. Overall it's an interesting place!
Sofi Reksoyudo — Google review
Need a lot of touch-ups and big renovations, lots of defects, and seemed like none care of the old heritage conditions. On the other hand, the entrance fee is 25k/pax and 80k for personal guide. Looking at the environment, it is really recommended to get better perspective in terms of putting high amount with the service amd scenery we get.
The diorama have to complete with signage with short story with years, this help people who read it get to know better and educate, then by listening the guide explained and at the same time the signage helps to be readed for information.

this palace complex belongs to the most senior branch of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom dynast. It is huge and historic. yet, it desperately needs some upgrading in the management of its museum and its surrounding vicinity. i do hope that the public streets which runs through some parts of the palace complex can be manage in such a way to bring back the glory and majesty of this precious heritage

A palace full of history, even the Sultan still lives here. The whole complex was huge, and the area permitted to roam was limited.
In spite of the limited roaming area.. It's still a large area to explore.. The guide will explain a lot of details regarding the palace, the Sultan's family and its predecessors.
The relic stored here was well preserved and being showcased. There's also some miniature figure to show how some events goes on at this palace.
A great place to visit...

Mangkunegaran Palace, a royal abode since 1757, is partly open to the public for displaying historical artifacts. Unlike other fortresses surrounded by thick walls, this palace stands out with its visible location. A fee of 20k rupiahs per person is charged for entering both the museum and the palace, which is administered as Kadipaten instead of Kasultanan/Kasunanan making it comparatively smaller than Yogyakarta Palace.
I came here by running as it was raining outside. Fortunately Mangkunegaran Palace was easy to spot as it is not closed by any 'beteng' or thick wall. 3 of us needed to pay for 20k rupiahs each to get into the museum and the Palace itself. We were given an Indonesian tour guide who's doing her schoolwork (we needed to pay her by ourselves too). The Palace is not as wide as Yogyakarta Palace (perhaps because of it's administration status which is a Kadipaten, not a Kasultanan/Kasunanan). Nevertheless, it was a nice space with beautiful garden and history in the city and quiet, which make me want to just sleep there. Long last the newest Adipati.

Not only the place is well maintained, but it also has good tour management. Moreover, we got the best tour guide! He casually and excitedly explained the history of the rooms, cultures, etc., And he was responsively answering all questions, very well-informed!

The House of Danar Hadi in Solo, Indonesia is a world-renowned museum that showcases the history and process of making batik fabrics. The museum has an impressive collection handpicked from the owner's private collection consisting of 1078 pieces out of 11,000 displayed in 11 rooms. The guided tour covers antique and royal pieces on display with a live-action demonstration included. There's also a shop available for textile purchases at the museum, which is housed in a grand colonial building.
Went there on the weekdays. The museum is a private museum and there's about 1.500 batik on display although they have about 10.000 collections. We spend around 1 hour with Zubair as our tour guide, and he's very helpful and passionate while explaining all the history of Batik, coming out there with a whole new information about Batik and it's philosophy. We can't take a picture in the museum, but at the end of our tour, there's a place where we can take our picture, and Zubair helps take the picture. All in all, it is totally worth the price and experience

The place is neat, clean, and has quite a nice layout. The main building looks cool although maintenance in the museum could be improved. The guide (forgot his name) gave us tons of knowledge about batik. For a private museum, it has whopping number of batik collections that were mostly in excellent condition despite being 100+ years old. Definitely one of a few decent places to visit in Solo.

This is a private collection but the english guide provided all details and our questions were all answered. The tour took little over an hour. Time well spent

Okay---look. This is an amazing museum AND an unforgettable experience. Even though visitors are not allowed to take photos (which is entirely fair for a private museum), the guide's knowledge, the stupendous collection of every kinds of batik (I was most impressed with the Batik Peranakan and Batik Keraton Yogya) and the general atmosphere of the building more than make it up.
Definitely a must-visit place if you come to Solo, whether or not you like museums. Really.

Amazing tour of the batik museum / collection! 🤎🤎🤎 Very reasonably priced at Rp. 35k for adults and 15k for local students. I went alone and my guide Yori (if I remember his name correctly) was great!! He was very informative but also warm, personable, and funny. Thanks again :)
- Timing 🕰️: The tour usually takes 45 mins to 1 hour, but mine took 1 and a half cause I asked heaps of questions 😅 So it depends on how curious you are! :)
- Accessibility ⚠️♿️: There’s around 10 rooms (from memory) and no seating area so I would recommend this able-bodied people that can stand for long periods of time. Unfortunately, most of the batik pieces are on low platforms so you have to crouch, squat, or bend over to view them which hurt :(( There’s a few steps of stairs to get to each room. You also cannot drink or eat inside so I got a little thirsty and pusing at the end :( The toilets are also a little far from the museum section.
- Service: Tour guide was amazing!! But cashier ladies were a little rude lol, didn’t really smile and had no patience for my broken Indonesian 😭😭
TLDR great tour with a little accessibility issues and some minor service hiccups at the start

Forum Kampoeng Batik Laweyan is a group in Solo that promotes the famous local craft of batik-making. This historic area is known for its shops that produce brightly colored textiles with intricate designs.
One thing about traveling is experience the exotic culture of the places. I'm glad my indonesia best friend took me to the Batik house where I can get to see how each and every piece of Batik is done.
Batik is a method (originally used in Java) of producing colored designs on textiles by dyeing them, having first applied wax to the parts to be left undyed.. Here's a thing, to add different color a certain pattern need to be blocked by using bee wax. Basically the process is quite long and requires tentative patience. And of course the result turns out pretty well and the costs also high as well.
And the tiny thing I hold is the baby Batik, I guess.
And also, I got to taste the Sasarparilla drink, my mum and I favourite drink of all time. The drink is produced in yogyakarta
Turns out it's a traditional drink in Java, usually used by royal family.

Interesting area housing many batik shops/workshops. Batik ranges from cheap traditional print method up to hand drawn premium batik. Some batik pattern is very old and not often produced nowadays. Park your car and explore on foot. Many local cum guide will offer to bring you around for a small fee/tip. They come useful in navigating small alley way. Those looking for super premium batik should try Goh Tik Swan or Danar. Parking space is very limited.

We can enjoy the beauty of the lake by riding a boat that will take us to the middle of the lake. Before reaching the middle of the lake, we will find a lot of water hyacinths that grow. Then, in the middle of the lake, there are fish ponds that make many white cranes fly over or perch on cages. Besides, on the edge of the lake, there are also parks, restaurants, and a game arena for children. This place is perfect for relaxing with family and friends, because it is in a pretty high contour area, in the foot of the mountain, don't forget to bring a jacket when visiting the lake! :)

The Museum Kereta Api Ambarawa is a rail museum located in a historic 1873 station. Visitors can view old locomotives on display and explore nearby attractions including the Museum Kereta which showcases 23 ornate carriages used by the Sultan, Taman Sari - a former swimming and bathing complex for the Sultan, and Masjid Gede Kauman - Yogyakarta's equivalent of Westminster Abbey.
Compared to the previous years ago, this place became neat and clean in terms of ticket purchase, the hall, toilet, and the park itself. Almost have not seen the plastic trash in the area which is good because the management cares about it!
The parking space is big enough. Provided the washbasins before we enter the place and check the body temperature also check-in for Peduli Lindungi.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the train ticket because I was there when the weekend so, I only bought the mini train to go around the museum.
Don't forget to buy the local seller goods there either its food and beverages or product like train miniature from wood.

Its charming location sets the stage for an immersive journey through the history of locomotives.
The museum boasts a comprehensive collection that spans the ages, showcasing the evolution of railway technology with impressive detail.
For those seeking adventure, the museum offers a delightful railway tour experience, allowing passengers to soak in breathtaking views at a reasonable price of 100,000 per person (as of April 2024).
While most exhibits are meticulously maintained, a few could benefit from a bit more care and attention.
To refuel after exploring, visitors can grab refreshments at the conveniently located stalls offering a variety of drinks and snacks.
In summary, the Railway Museum is a delightful destination for history buffs and casual visitors alike, offering a blend of nostalgia, education, and relaxation.

A must see steam locomotives and train station museum. It brings you back in time to early 1900 and you can ride the steam engine with additional cost. The machines are well mantained and the outdoor area is very clean.

A great place to learn. If you want to ride the diesel train, please come earlier in the morning because the ticket sold out really fast especially at the weekend. The vibes was peacefull. We didn't need the tour guide to enjoy the train station. This train station had audio-visual room but seems like nobody came overthere maybe because we needed to walk across the rail.

This the real hidden gem. Showcases Indonesian railway history, but the best part is you can ride the 100 years old train back and forth (only available Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday). Best to bring kids if you have one. They will love it!

What a great experience enjoying the oldest train technology in the world. Stunning view of Rawa Pening lake, cool ambient, and very pleasant staff.
There are 3-4 times a day of train schedule, but I recommend to take morning schedule.
After riding the train, you can enjoy the museum and take pictures as much as you want.

Regular schedule for the trips are weekend (sat & sun) + public holiday.

My first time going here and I'm so excited!
You really need to come early to get the train ticket, like seriously. I came at 12.00 so that I can book train ticket at 13.00 but they were sold out! So I can only enjoyed the museum.
The next day I came again, early in the morning 7AM, they open at 8 AM and the queue has occurred. Fortunately, I got the ticket
