Durmitor National Park is a picturesque destination in northwestern Montenegro, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This glacier-formed area boasts gorges, forests, and lakes such as the scenic Black Lake or Mountain Eyes. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and camping with opportunities for white water rafting and mountaineering. In addition to being the highest point in Montenegro, Durmitor National Park provides skiing options during winter months.
Durmitor National Park is very beautiful and well preserved. Easy trail around the Black lake. But no washroom in the lake area (seems one is under construction when I visited the park in mid Apr 2022)

Amazing park in Montenegro, definitely go here if you’re in town! Remember that this is quite up in the mountains, so it’s much colder here than down in Kotor.
The park itself has some nice walking routes and places to sit and enjoy. There are some beautiful lakes and pine trees.
Bring some food and warm clothes and enjoy the hike!

A complete and utter highlight of our trip to Montenegro. We got full blown snow when it was nearly May which was a little unexpected! Only made the trip that more beautiful. We did the walk around the whole lake which took about 1.45 hours with the snow. Would love to go back in the summer.

Amazing! Still worth visiting in the non-winter months, was not alot of tourists there when I went (June), getting the ski lift up to the top of Savin Kuk was great!

Amazing view of the lake and mountains!
This place is definitely worth visiting. To reach the lake you need to go through National park - calm forest with wild nature. On your way you can buy fresh berries and honey - which is extra delight)
I recommend this place to visit, when you’re in Montenegro

If you visit Montenegro, you should definitely add this place to your list. Here are some information:
- It takes 2,5 hours from Kotor by car.
- Weather is around 15-16 celcius degrees (23 August). Jacket and umbrella would save your day.
- Parking is 2€, entrance per person 3€.
- You can rent boat for 8€ for one hour.
- There is only one restaurant in the place and it is not as expensive as expected.
- Enjoy the view.

As soon as you enter the park you will feel awe by the view of Bobotov kuk over the lake. The nature is dense and beautiful . Whether if you try to climb the top of bobotov kuk or if you hike the trail of the three lakes , Durmitor is a place every nature lover should visit during his stay at Montenegro .

We drover the Durmitor Ring and cannot recommend it enough. Roads are narrow and require maneuvering but it was a lot of fun. Breathtaking views everywhere you look and so calm and charming. In addition to the ring, we recommend adding on the Tara Canyon at the lookout point at Curevac. You pay the park entry and have plenty of parking. It is not very far hike but is very rocky and uphill so wear appropriate shoes.

The most beautiful natural park I’ve been to, stay at least 3 days !
Mohamed “Abdul” Al Abdul-Rahman — Google review
Very beautiful!!!
In the park you have many possibilities.
For kids their is the 30 minutes to the black lake, with small shops on the ways.
For hiking their is the walking in the forest theough couple of lakes, and climbing the mountain.
The spot that google maps provides is not correct. You should type the black lake.
Also the markings are poor and very confusing, beforehand you should download an app
Gilad Weijel — Google review
Very romantic place with the big black lake for walking and seeing the trees you can rent small boats for half an hour, you can buy gifts while walking in the way to lake, don't buy honey it's unknown quality but you can buy the dray mushrooms, wooden articles, doll with local dress

Old Town Rooms
Lodging
Ancient Ruins
The staff at Old Town Rooms is impressive, and the hotel boasts an excellent seaside location in the historic district. It is highly recommended for a memorable stay. Their restaurant offers delicious seafood dinners and tasty omelettes and coffee for breakfast. Currently, they are renovating all of their rooms, with the completed ones already looking fantastic. Many of the accommodations feature balconies. They have plans to finish renovating all rooms by next year. Overall, Old Town Rooms provides good lodging with friendly hospitality.
Amazing staff! Perfect location looking over the sea in the old town! This is the location to stay in. They have a really nice restaurant where you can have fish for dinner and a great omelette and coffee for breakfast.
They are renovating all the rooms - the rooms that are done are really nice. Many of the rooms have balconys. They told me that they will have all the rooms done next year. Really recommend to stay here.

(Translated by Google) Tragedy. I am writing to warn you against wasting your holidays. We booked a total of 11 nights and after 2 nights, fortunately, we managed to say goodbye to this beautiful place, as some people describe. Instead of writing, I'm sending a few photos as a warning. Not to mention it's not all bad, the views are amazing. I reported the matter via booking where I booked the place because despite the omnipresent dirt, no one bothered to clean the wonderful shared kitchen for two days (it's a miracle with a washing machine), the TV didn't work, there were ants in the room. this green bottle is the set of cosmetics we had left after arriving. there was supposed to be a welcome drink, but maybe it's good that there wasn't, because I would have run away from there drunk. the room was not cleaned, we spent over 10€ on chemicals to clean the bathroom, there was a lot of black curly hair everywhere. despite this we were asked to pay 100% for 2 nights and 30% to cancel the remaining 9 days. Fortunately, we moved to Albania and the holiday was saved. After we complained, they wanted to give us rooms of a higher standard, but together with the whole family we decided to leave after 2 days.

With an impressive area of 1,370 m², a height of 44.5 m to the top of the cross on the central dome, the church of St. John Vladimir in Bar is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. Almost 5,000 m² of walls are painted in it, the marble iconostasis is 18.5 m long, the floor mosaic occupies about 1,700 m², the temple has 7 bronze and 9 wooden doors, 28 columns, 11 bells, underfloor heating
Apart from its amazing size, the temple also impresses with the skill and craftsmanship with which it was built. Led by proto-master Momčilo Stanojević, this temple was built by numerous masters. The conceptual project was done by the famous architect and artist Predrag Ristić, the executive architect was Svetozar Popović. Five teams of fresco painters led by Anastasi Radović worked day and night to paint the temple. Only the fresco of Our Lady of Heaven in the altar apse occupies an area of about 80 m².

Said to be over 2,000 years old, this olive tree stands in a quiet courtyard with nearby benches.
was distracted by this little friend who demanded my attention at all times. no complaints!
beautiful and quiet area that is well worth a visit

Respect for keeping this tree in good condition. Worth of visiting while being around the Old Bar/Bar. Very kind woman working there, was very helpful, and answered our questions, as well as helped us to make pictures of all our family with the Olive tree in the background. It still produces olives and they make limited extra virgin oil from it (not for sale) The ticket is only 1 EUR. Support.

A beautiful old Olive tree. Worth stopping if you are passing on your way to Ulcinj from Bar or opposite. Over 2240 years old and the oldest olive tree in Europe and that's it more isn't it to see
Jennifer B. — Google review
Great place if you want to see the majectic old olive tree. 2254 year old!!! Amazing
It will cost you 1€/adult
The souvenir shop is very poor.
michel mougey — Google review
I've seen a fair share of elderly trees, and this one perhaps has a quite an impressive purpose built surrounding garden. If you're into old trees then worth a visit, even if to ponder the history the tree has lived through. If trees aren't your thing then apart from seeing an old tree, there's nothing else to do or see. Entrance is one euro per person (cash only).
Dave Pickering — Google review
A single tree. Very old, but alive. Ticket is €1, and different souvenirs are cheap. Nothing else. Just a checkpoint for making a photo with the eldest olive tree and go forward to the ancient castle.
Igor Qwerty — Google review
The old tree perhaps the oldest in Europe over 2000 years is nice to go and see. It is protected by a fence and there are more olive trees and turtles inside. The tree still bears olives even though it has burned several times and is so old. Really wonderful
mr. jotan — Google review
An ancient olive tree that was very likely planted over 2,000 years ago. The experience is somewhat mixed as someone decided to charge an entrance ticket (1€) to go and see it up close.
As very close there are scammers trying to charge for unofficial (illegal) parking fees, I would be curious if this fee is official or not. This being said, a quick glance over the fence will be most likely enough for most people passing by.
Jiří Marvan — Google review
Lovely little place for a quick visit. Cost 1Euro but quiet and well kept. The tree was hit by lightning so is blackened down one side. Looks fantastic for its age!
Amanda Stephenson — Google review
Nothing special, just a tree. The entrance costs 1 euro, but you can have a look at the three without entering

Good tiny place, almost not-crowded during spring, even on weekeds. I strongly recommend visit this place for calm relaxation on benches. Entrance ticket for adult 1€, for children - 0.5€. However, it is better to go by car, not by Your own foot, because this place is a bit far from other sights in the Old Bar city.
Such a nice visit of the old town of Stari Bar, in the southeast of Montenegro, has seen its fair share of troubles. Over the centuries it was taken over by the Venetians, the Serbians, the Hungarians and the Ottoman Empire.
But in 1979 after beeing destroyed again by a major earthquake and the community was abandoned.
Today it lies in ruins.
Eve Navaie — Google review
One of Montenegro's gems and must place to see if you are visiting Bar or nearby area. Old Bar's walls and inside fort are beautiful and while most of the houses and objects inside were ruined by siege, quake and time, you can notice efforts to restore them to previous state. I did not expect much and I'm still amazed how big the old Bar was and it's position vices you great panoramic view of surrounding hills, cliffs and Bar's coast. After a visit, you should check charming stone pawed street with bunch of nice restaurants and souvenir shops and starts near the entrance and follows the wall.
Milutin Kecojevic — Google review
For €3 a person there is nothing not to like here. Loads of nooks and crannies to explore! It’s slowly being restored and we saw this happening when we visited. The kids found it interesting and we took some nice pictures of the hills behind from the top.
Tom Bell — Google review
Compared to other ruins in the area, these are not very well preserved or explained along the way. Beautiful views and a nice walk through the hill side, but nothing particularly special. A good value at 2€ entrance fee, but nothing to go out of your way for.
Judson L Moore — Google review
The old fortress in Stari Bar is definitely worth a visit! It is a relevant cultural journey and one can easily spend an hour or two just exploring the vast grounds. The entrance is 3 € per person and there is also a map available for purchase as well as an app which we both however did not purchase. It was nonetheless a cool visit with some picturesque scenes as well as some learnings about local culture and history.
Parking is an issue in Stari Bar and thus I recommend the official and gated parking lot at the foot of the fortress, from where you can walk through the revitalized village to the top of the hill to enter the fortress.
Unfortunately there are many sites still being worked on and some sections of the fortress feel a bit neglected. Also some info graphics and text in English would be helpful to visitors. There is this still some room to improve the overall experience. However still a great place to visit!
Christian Kaiser — Google review
We spent a very interesting afternoon exploring the ruins of Old Bar. The recommended route is well signed, but the pathways are uneven. Good walking shoes need to be worn for safety. Information plaques give a good deal of information about the history of the town and its eventual destruction in the 1979 earthquake.

One of the most beautiful fortresses I have visited. The entrance is charged symbolically, and the view is worth it. The old olive oil, the lighthouse, the old part of the town, will take you the whole day. Take that into account when planning your tour.

Pretty interesting place to visit. But at the same time you won’t lose a lot of you don’t do it. We were there during rainy day. Till 12 we could visit the church, it was closed. Because of the rain we spent there more time and finally the church was opened.
You can see many nice views from the top.

It was a heavily rainy day and we got drenched but it was absolutely worth it, it is so serene and calm there. When it was raining, there were no tourists so it was a nice timing + got there early in the morning. A really old church inside the little town which was soothing to be present there. Beautiful nature that left us in awe. If you are staying nearby or just passing by be sure to visit here it is worth your time to see where people from past lived.

Kubilay Balkan — Google review
An amazing unexpected experience - in short, the fortress is huge and it is real journey through history.
Basically, you are navigating narrow paths along different buildings and you never know what to expect next - old Venetian customs house, an aqueduct, Turkish baths or a tall narrow church shaped like a gate. This all is coupled with great views on the surrounding mountains.
Prominent cave with 1.6 miles' worth of passages lined with otherworldly stalagmites & stalactites.
Definitely worth a visit, they're huge, beautiful and amazing. For me, having a disabled daughter the staff were so patient, helpful and understanding, I've been to other caves where we've been left behind as she's too slow, but they took her by the hand and led the way with her. Made the day so wonderful, thank you so much x

Fantastic tour of the Cave with a brilliant guide, Daniella. Very interesting to hear about all the Cave formations and history of how it was found and developed. Lovely cafe at the ticket centre and you even get to ride the train to the entrance and enjoy the fantastic views across the valley.

Bit far from Budva, but worth the visit. The tour is guided and has a fix schedule. Last for an hour starting from the train ride. Private vehicle is a must or a tour company since there is no public transport for this place.
Arlef Suarez — Google review
It's quite impressive, length is about 1 hour, you don't see the cave lake nor the end of it. For those things you have to purchase 5 times more expensive ticket and go with helmets.

It was great! Very cold inside, very hot outside! 😃 Anyway, this cave is very nice, you can travel with a small train, and you can walk in a very nice cave. It’s about 2-2.5 km long (but this is a very short part of the cave). Our guide was a very kind young woman, she speaks English as well, it was a really interesting tour. It’s must to visit if you’re in Montenegro.
Gumberne Balogh Krisztina — Google review
One of the most stunning natural wonders I’ve seen in Montenegro. After some winding single track, but good condition roads, you’ll arrive at the visitors centre. It’s got toilets, a good size car park and a inside and outside coffee bar with just beautiful views of the valley below. It’s really stunning.
Every hour until 4pm there’s a land train that collects you and travels 5 minutes to the cave entrance. Wrap up warm it’s about 10 degrees calculus inside. It’s also wet and you’ll get dripped on from the ceiling.
Once in you’ll be on a safe concrete walk way, albeit steep, into the cave system where you’ll spend the next 40 minutes with a knowledgable guide. Follow their instructions, it’s for your own safety and for the protection of the delicate ecosystem within the cave.
There is only one entrance to the cave for people, the one small original is a vertical drop a dog fell down which led to the discovery of the cave in the 1930s. The army then broke through the entrance with explosives and used the space, that they called the fridge as it’s so very cold.
There are some wonderful stalactites and stalagmites win the cave and some other features called popcorn and spaghetti!
Two of them are one star

Interesting tour down the caves with a knowledgeable guide. You get a road train from the ticket office. As far as I am aware, you can't book the standard tour online and you just turn up 15 minutes before.

Bring a jacket!
Decent price for the entrance. As this is guided tour the entrance to the cave with a train is every 1.5h. There is also a small cafe which have sandwiches and lots of drink options. The train ride to cave was short. Cave itself was 10 degrees and worth every cent of it. We had amazing experience and the guide was very humorous with clear strong voice and decent amount of facts that you can handle.

Beautiful cave managed by motivated young people. A guided tour starts every hour (on the hour) and you need to be present (with a ticket) 5 minutes in advance. Consider 60 minutes to be back at your car.

Beautiful and interesting place with good guide. 1 hour of excursion was interesting and fast. However it better to think about warm cloth, in the cave the temperature is +10.
Also the road to the cave is not safe enough.

What a gorgeous cave! Our guide was very knowledgeable, she explained everything to us in perfect English and made the experience even more entrancing. We had a great time in the cave. In the cave the temperature is very low, so don't forget to come prepared. Very recommended!

Lipa cave was first discovered by a dog that fell through a hole. It is a stunning place to admire the gift of nature. Honestly can’t believe that most of the formations were made by water 😮…it’s is worth visiting. It was cold inside and a little slippery. Avoid slides and wear comfortable shoes and clothes to combat the 10 degree temperature inside the cave.
The tour took about 40mins with clear instructions laid simply by the tour guide. It was honestly an interesting place to be and admire the icicles (stalagmites and stalagnates ) with the shapes of spaghetti and popcorn 😂😂😂. I have included lots of pictures alongside the history🥰.
Let’s talk about the road to the cave. Honestly it’s on top of the mountain and as such, it’s expected to be narrow. I was scared initially when I saw the road but the driver who took us there drove slowly and carefully. The road shouldn’t hinder you from checking out this place as it is exceptionally beautiful. So come on …..check out that bucket list ✔️ .

In all honesty I didn’t expect much as we are treated well with this sort of thing in the UK with some great caves, however I came away really impressed!
It includes a short land train journey which the kids loved. Then the actual cave interior was incredible! Really high quality and excellent tour guide included who spoke perfect English.
I’d say check the tour times before you go otherwise you could end up with an hour wait before you’re allowed in. Otherwise if you’re in the area, it’s worth the visit.
The Orthodox Cathedral of Christ's Resurrection is a modern and striking church featuring intricate stonework and an opulent interior adorned with gilded frescoes. Notably, there is a controversial fresco depicting Marx, Engels, and Tito burning in hell. The cathedral also showcases numerous depictions of Bulgarian and Serbian orthodox saints on its walls and roof. Located at the heart of the city, it is a must-visit for anyone interested in magnificent architecture and traditional religious artistry.
Outstanding church and typically having an abundance of frescoes. This one though contains the controversial Marx, Engels and Tito burning in hell fresco. It has to be seen. I'm told that some people here are all for this depiction while others are very much against it. You decide for yourself.

The amazing interior of this church is breathtaking. The main chandelier is beautiful and reminds me of many churches in Istanbul. Iconography is dominant and well preserved. I wonder if it really helps pilgrims to meet with resurrect Jesus when they come to worship, or is it an obstacle to true worship, forcing their thoughts and prayers towards patron saints instead to the living Son of God .

Very beautiful church. The art work , painting and the colors are so beautiful. The paintings have such an amazing color and the whole church inside is filled with these paintings. One of the must visit places in Podgorica.

From Wikipedia: Construction of the church of around 14,000 square feet began in 1993 to a design by Predrag Ristić. Consecration occurred on October 7, 2013, on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan on freedom of religion, and it was attended by the heads of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilus III and Russian Patriarch Cyril, together with Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije and other Metropolitanate clerics.
On 1 November 2020, the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral for the thirty years (1990–2020), Amfilohije was, at his own request, buried in the crypt of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, in a resting place prepared for his lifespan.

This is my favorite cathedral in the world which is built during modern times. Thanks Montenegro for showing world that beatiful architecture is not dead. It is also different from traditional architectures. Definitely recommended. No ticket is required for entrance.

It is located in the western part of the city, and as far as I understand, the new city has been built here. I had read that there was a debate among the locals about its suitability as an Orthodox church, but it was a pleasant visit for tourism purposes. We happened to witness a wedding ceremony when we visited, and observing the local people and their traditions was a delightful experience. I recommend visiting it when you are in the city.

3 Bulevar Džordža Vašingtona, Podgorica 81000, Montenegro
The Millenium Bridge, a renowned cable-stayed bridge stretching across the Morača River, was constructed in 2005 and is 173 meters long. Located in the heart of Podgorica, this modern and splendid infrastructure serves both vehicles and pedestrians. For an optimal view of the bridge, one can visit the adjacent pedestrian bridge or take a stroll through the surrounding parks. The nocturnal ambiance is especially captivating as colorful lights illuminate the structure while spotlessly clean waters flow underneath it.
One of the attractions of the Podgorica city, a place where Millennium run participants start and finish their races. The Bridge has its functions during the other days. Construction is interesting in terms of how it is made and how it looks. Nice to see it if travel in Podgorica.

Modern and magnificent bridge in the new center of Podgorica. It is relative big and used for cars and pedestrians. Better view is from a pedestrians bridge just next to. It also worth a visit at night to see the bridge lights. Quite colourful. River below the bridge looks clean.

Beatiful bridge on downtown. There are several small bridges near this bridge. Most locals use small side bridges for walking.
Tom Wilson — Google review
The bridge was designed by Marjan Pipenbaher from the Slovenian company Ponting Bridges and Mladen Ulićević, a professor at Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica. It was built by the Slovenian company Primorje, and opened on 13 July 2005, Montenegro's National Day. It quickly became one of the city's most prominent landmarks.
The bridge is 173 metres long, and the pylon soars 57 m above the roadbed. Twelve cables support the roadway deck, while twenty-four more are attached to the counterweights, creating an imposing image.
The construction of the bridge began in 2005, and the building cost was approximately 7 million euros. The roadway carries two lanes of traffic and a pedestrian walkway in each direction. The bridge connects the Boulevard of Ivan Crnojević in the city centre and July 13 street in the new part of city, thus relieving the other congested bridges connecting the city center with the densely populated districts over the Morača river.
The immaculate Ostrog Monastery, constructed in the 17th century as a site for pilgrimage to Saint Basil of Ostrog, was restored in the 1920s. It is situated on an impractical and miraculous cliff face that towers 900m above Zeta valley. This site is highly significant for Orthodox Christians in Montenegro and draws up to one million visitors every year including tourists, pilgrims, and souvenir vendors.
Regardless if you religious or not...
Very nice place, wonderful view.
Visited in February, not much traffic, but I guess that in the busy season...
Few minutes from there an excellent restaurant & view (terrace pic) , Sokoline.

Getting to the top of the mountain where the monastery is located is a challenge whether by car or by foot. The amount of tourists visiting in April was not too bad. We didn’t have to wait very long to visit St. Basils reliquary or the remaining temples carved into the caves. If you are in the area it is a beautiful day trip.
Happy Ox — Google review
It was a nice visit and opportunity to learn more about Montenegro and its culture but from just a tourist viewpoint it was not worth the hassle to get there - if you look for amazing views, there are better places to visit - it is difficult to get there.
Families or disabled people can reach the top by car, others must park their car a bit lower and climb some stairs (quite a few). As those steps are really really slippery, wear proper shoes! There are railings by the stairs which help a lot.
Martin Karu — Google review
We went on a Sunday so it was quite busy and the line to enter the monastery was maybe an hour long. Be prepared to wait in line in the sun, so bring water and a scarf or sun screen to cover from the direct sunlight. There are water fountains available at the monastery with fresh cold water.
A bit of a hike up the hill, especially if the main car park is full and you have to leave your car downhill.
A religious location so your appreciation of the experience may depend accordingly. Very spiritual and beautiful though, whatever religion you may be involved with. Please remember to respect the location in your dress and behaviour.
Quite small in the end but worth the visit.

Definitely worth visiting when you’re in Montenegro - whether you’re religious or not! The building is gorgeous, and the views are amazing. It wasn’t as busy as most of the touristy places during the summer (we went in August). We took a train from Podgorica to Ostrog, and then did the hike up the mountain. We were surprised that not that many people chose this option (we only met 1 person on the way), but it’s a 1,5-2h hike so fair enough. Worth doing it for the views 😉

Did not feel like this was worth the 2hr drive from budva and back. Nice view of the valley but that's it. I'm sure it has more historic or religious significance to locals. Mostly just the exterior you see, nothing inside to see or explore, except one small part that everyone lines up to go in and pray/touch probably some holy significance. Also you will need to walk up several sets of stairs from new parking region. About 10-15 min.
Matthew Barabas — Google review
A beautiful monastery high up on the side of the hill, below the cliffs.
Surprisingly busy, even during what should be lower season. I imagine in the summer this place is fairly mobbed.
Absolutely stunning mosaics at the top near the bell tower.
Well worth a visit.
Mike RC — Google review
An amazing piece of architecture perched up a hill and tucked within the rocks. It's a wonderful walk up from Ostrog Railway Station although I've heard you can walk up from Dabovichi too. It's on the sunny side of the hill so even in winter and when there's snow on the ground in Niksic it's clear enough to walk up safely. Plenty of time to get up, have a really good look round and walk back down in time for the trains running between Niksic and Podgorica.
Lewis Mindy — Google review
Any critic who is giving this below 5 stars is a lunatic!
One, the views from the top are incredible. You see fantastic mountain ranges, filled with greenery, it is mesmerising.
Two, the architectural magnificence of this is similar to Petra, in Jordan. Built into the wall, it is insanity.
Third, it gives you a few steps in the day when you walk up and it's free to visit.
You drive up, park, the walk some flights of stairs. Some people find that a hassle, we are looking at 6-8 minutes of walking, nothing major. People have grown too accustomed to accessibility, but I digress!
Fun fact: they say it is a miraculous place due to the ivy growing out of the rock on the mountain, as "nothing should grow from pure rock". There is probably a scientific explanation for it, but still fun.
I'd recommend visiting.
Tywin Lannister — Google review
There’s not a lot to see inside. The best part is the outside. It being built into the rock is the most intriguing part of this monastery. There are good views of the valley from here. Be aware the drive here is not easy, it’s a very narrow road with a cliff off to the side that has blind corners. I wouldn’t drive here in bad weather. There is parking at the very top. You might see a large parking lot which is essentially the overflow but from here it’s a very long walk uphill. Before you come to this parking lot there is a road off to the right that continues up the hill. It had a partial barricade as if you can’t drive through it but you can. The road leads to a smaller parking lot which is very close to the monastery. The parking is free.
Travelbuff — Google review
Small still functioning monastery that sits in the side of a rock face high up the mountain side. Take care to select the new road up there as the old is terrifying.
You’ll be expected to be covered so they may not let you in with shorts and T-shirts although we had no issue.
As you go in, the small section at the furthest point is where you can get blessed. We weren’t aware of this and kind of got funnelled into the process.
There’s little information about the structure and history which is a shame, and we thought a coffee shop (it’s a long walk up) would be available but the space is all taken up with memorabilia and gifts. Whilst it’s from the 15th century it’s much more contemporary in its finish and must have a significant restoration or rebuild.
Be aware the site is very small. The car park is huge with toilets. There’s no coffee shops in the area only restaurants.
Matthew Douglas — Google review
The place is amazing, more of a Pilgrim place it’s not that accessible if you come here with a Public transportation. From the Train Station, the hike is atleast an hour, and that is an uphill hike, going through a Forest that you barely see houses. I came here with the Train, was not a good idea going here when it starts to get dark, luckily going back, there was Taxi, with that way I took, had no plans to hike back in darkness. Maybe it wasn’t a bad idea to hitchhike.

i’m not a religious person but the energy of this place was absolutely overwhelming (in a good way). you could feel centuries and centuries of history that surrounds this magnificent place. i think everyone needs to visit this monastery at least once.

This is a very narrow and busy road going from main road to the monastery. When we arrived to the car park, we had to walk for around 15 minutes which is fine but there were a lot of people. There was a big queue to the main holy place. I guess, for people interested in this particular place, it must do. We found it very busy which shows how important this place is.
Ivan Newland — Google review
The monastery is a majestic place carved into rock. It’s really hard to imagine how they managed to build this in the 17th century. The views from the top are super nice and we also liked the body exercise of climbing the stairs to the top.
As we came from Podgorica we found the organized tours really expensive (about 150 € / person) so we arranged a taxi ride to the lower monastery with our hotel. This cost us 30 € in total. From there we went to the monastery and after our visit we hiked all the way down to the Ostrog train station from where we took the train back to Podgorica. We could also have taken the train to the monastery in the first place but the train schedule did not really fit into our personal schedule.
P R — Google review
There’s only so much that you can see inside, however the outside view is very pleasant. I wouldn’t go out of my way to see this place(respectfully). Right now(November) the main road is under construction so you have to pay 1€ to go up(optional)

Amazing architecture and view. The road is long to get there. I went with a group tour.Must see attraction in Montenegro . Not allowed to take photos inside the monastery. And we saw a 300 years old dead body of the founder of the monastery . Don’t go in the weekend it will be crowded
The Morača River flows through the capital city of Podgorica, offering stunning scenery as it winds through the mountains and Moraca Canyon. The road that follows the canyon is surrounded by beautiful nature and tunnels, showcasing impressive engineering feats accomplished without modern technology. While the road could benefit from better maintenance, it still provides breathtaking views of untouched landscapes. Despite heavy traffic passing through, visitors can find rest stops to appreciate the incredible natural beauty along this ancient route.
Extra ordinary canyon with great dimensions and views, crystal clear water, highly recommend to visit early in spring or autumn. Complicated arrival by car fom Most Pjenavac, try access from

What a beautiful and scenic lake. The water here is so clear and blue, and the beautiful rocks that surround the lake are great to sit on. There was almost no shade so keep that in mind, and try not to get too close to the trees since there are a ton of mosquitoes there. Keep this in mind and you will have a great time here. The lake is not crowded at all and it's so quiet here that it makes a fantastic place to rest.

Theth National Park
National park
Nature & Parks
Nature & Wildlife Areas
This 26.3-km² park in the Alps offers diverse flora, valleys, forests & 20 species of mammals.
The road there is new asphalt all the way. I got some conflicting advice about the drive there and was really worried about the roads, but found they were newly finished asphalt! It is still very narrow and there are many sharp turns, so be careful!
Also very important- make sure you fill up on petrol before heading there as there are NO gas stations on the way or in Theth. I found a guy to fill me up from a jerrycan and he put diesel in my car instead of benzine. I understand this happens a lot.
Also- you can’t pay with credit card anywhere so make sure you have a lot of cash.
As a local told me- you’re in the end of the world here!
So once here, the road is pretty dodgy, you should find a place to stay and start walking everywhere. There are many hikes, all super beautiful.
Would recommend at least 2 nights, not including any overnight tracks you might go on.

The Theth National Park is worth a visit with its beautiful nature and old wooden and stone huts. The valley is reached via a winding, narrow road. (completely paved). Indeed very beautiful place to hike. But beware that some paths, are very steep with lots of lose rocks, very difficult to walk, slightly dangerous as well since there's a long way to fall some of the places. Would not recommend people who are not young and sporty to go around here. And definitely bring good hiking gear.

My recent visit to Theth National Park left me in awe of its breathtaking beauty. The landscape is truly mesmerizing, offering a unique blend of nature's wonders. However, I would caution against visiting in the second week of November, especially if you plan on driving through the mountains.
During our ascent, we encountered heavy snowfall at the top, creating challenging driving conditions. While the snow added a picturesque touch, it might pose difficulties for those seeking a smooth drive. For a more comfortable experience, consider planning your visit during a season with less snowfall.
Despite the weather-related challenges, Theth remains a must-visit destination. The natural beauty, serene atmosphere, and unique charm make it a place worth exploring. I recommend checking weather conditions before planning your trip to ensure an optimal and safe experience in this enchanting national park.

Pure nature, clear water in the river, breathtaking mountain view… Reaching here was a big challenge- the roads are very narrow and the closer you’re to the destination, the worse roads you see, lack of barriers and sometimes you feel like you can fall down any minute.

Great national park in the north of Albania with several treking options to do, being the Grunas Waterfall (6km loop) Blue Eye (18km loop) and Theth-Valbona (20km one way) the most famous ones. Excelent to relax and enjoy nature during summer

When you arrive to Theth, the tourist information building is on the right.
If you want to hike to blue eye it takes 8-9hours but you discover the area a lot more than paying top dollar and trucks shake you quite a lot.
Just follow the white red white trail, this is mild trail and if you are capable walking around 18km it’s nicely spent time.
At the road there are several points were you can buy drinks or eat, carry LEKs with you!
I would suggest it for everyone who visits Theth!

It is no longer called Theth National Park but rather Albanian Alps National Park according to the locals I met. Anyway, this is, hands down, the most beautiful part of this country. And I'm quite scarred that with the new tarmac road the hordes of car-rental tourists might damage the natural beauty of the mountains. Make sure to come here soon or choose off season, autumn would be best in my opinion, still warm-ish, but no snow yet.

Constructed in the Rascian style, this Serbian Orthodox monastery was founded by Stefan Vukanovic of the Nemanjic dynasty back in 1252. First of all, you’ll need to spend around 3e to get in. The parking is pretty busy during the day but it is ok closer to the evening.
The territory has a pretty big lake and the forest around it which are well maintained. Also, while going there, you’ll find a playground for kids and a source of the mountain water that you can drink.
You can swim anywhere there, the water is pretty warm during the summer time. Also there is a cafe near and they show movies on weekend evening.

I have been to this place three times. Each and every time I felt like am visiting new place. This place is also called as black lake. One of my best and favourite places in europe. Very plasant, calm with very less people around you. This place looks different in different seasons. It is 15 mins far from zablak. There is a restaurant available at site for refreshments. Entry ticket is 3 euros. For car parking it is 2 euros. For best view I would suggest to visit in summer or in deep winter. This lake is situated in Durmitor national park which has many other panaromic view roads around it.

Black Lake in Žabljak, Montenegro, is a picturesque natural gem nestled within the Durmitor National Park. The lake, locally known as Crno jezero, is renowned for its stunning beauty and tranquil surroundings. Surrounded by dense pine forests and towering peaks, it offers a serene escape into nature.
The journey to Black Lake begins with a scenic hike through the pristine Durmitor wilderness. The well-marked trails lead visitors through lush meadows, fragrant pine forests, and rocky terrain, creating an immersive experience that builds anticipation for the lake's arrival.
Upon reaching Black Lake, one is greeted by the mesmerizing sight of crystal-clear water reflecting the surrounding mountains. The lake is divided into two smaller basins, and each offers a unique perspective of the landscape. The water's deep shade of black, attributed to its depth and the dark coniferous forest that encircles it, adds an air of mystery to the setting.
The shores of Black Lake invite visitors to sit and savor the tranquility or explore the numerous walking paths that weave through the area. During the warmer months, the lake's surface mirrors the azure sky, creating a captivating contrast against the greenery. In winter, the frozen lake transforms into a magical wonderland, offering opportunities for ice-skating and snow-covered walks.
The diverse flora and fauna around Black Lake contribute to its ecological significance. Nature enthusiasts can spot various bird species, including ducks and swans, while the surrounding forests are home to an array of wildlife. The area is also rich in plant life, with wildflowers dotting the landscape during the spring and summer months.
Travelers seeking adventure can extend their exploration beyond the lake, as the surrounding Durmitor National Park boasts a network of trails catering to various hiking levels. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or a more challenging ascent, the park offers a range of outdoor activities.
While the natural beauty of Black Lake is undoubtedly its main attraction, the nearby facilities, including cafes and picnic areas, enhance the overall visitor experience. The combination of breathtaking scenery, diverse ecosystems, and recreational options make Black Lake in Žabljak a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those looking to immerse themselves in Montenegro's pristine landscapes.

The lake is absolutely stunning. I strongly recommend to walk around it, which takes ~1,5 hours, but sometimes the path is steep and rocky

If you ever near this lake, go there, a lot of lakes can be missed in this area but not this one, breath taking, amazingly beautiful, you can spand hours just walking different trails( from light walking to something a bit challenging), you can also stay in the park. You do need a ticket and you need to pay for parking, worth it!!

very picturesque lake basic starting point from campsites in the vicinity of the beetle access to the lake is absolutely an easy trip, while bypassing the lake itself you can be surprised by short but difficult vertical walls. the lake looks great from the nearby Mały Niedźwiedz mountain. I've been there twice, always leaving the trail from one of the campsites and I've never met a gate where I would have to pay for admission 🤔.Water there is clean so You and yours dog can swim .

MUST-VISIT in Durmitor!
We visited Crno Jezero at the end of May and had quite an adventure. The circular walk around the lake, which was supposed to take about 1 hour, ended up taking us around 3 hours: the water level was high, and in many parts, the trail was submerged, forcing us to take detours. Additionally, the lack of clear markings and signage made it challenging to navigate, but thankfully we had an offline trail map to help us out.
We got completely soaked as we passed through a powerful waterfall, but it was an exhilarating experience.
The entrance fee to the National Park was 5 euros/ cash only. Parking was free and available, about 700 meters away from the lake. The trail itself was quite muddy and slippery after the rain, so wearing hiking shoes with good grip is advisable.
Interestingly, we entered the park around 5:30 pm, and we were the only two people on the trail. It felt surreal to be surrounded by nature without any crowds. Highly recommended!

The black lake (which is by no means black) is a large and beautiful mountain lake that invites you to walk around it. Since it is on the territory of Durmitor National Park, a ticket must be purchased. The park management deserves exactly zero stars because they are very unfriendly, don't know about the offers (multi-day tickets, year-round tickets) and just yell at you with "five euros". The tour around the lake is very beautiful and varied, there are some beautiful views of the mountains. The information boards are unfortunately very old and worn, they should be renewed urgently - what else is the entrance fee used for? It should be pointed out that when the snow is melting, sometimes large masses of water flow from the mountains into the lake and cross the footpath, i.e. wet feet are to be expected - but it's fun.
Biogradska Gora National Park is an untouched wilderness that boasts pristine forest and glacier lakes, making it a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. The region is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers. Visitors can take leisurely walks around the lake or hire boats to explore its stunning beauty. However, the park also has a darker side as it's home to abandoned puppies who roam around searching for food.
One of the best forest experiences for the hikers in this part of Montenegro. A beautiful National park, with trees up to 100 meters tall, and over 300 years old. There is a path around the lake, less than 5km long, ideal for hiking and enjoying nature. For every nature lover, this place is a must.

I enjoyed this place. Very peaceful and beautiful place to come for a walk. 3 little puppies came to us and followed us around we stayed a while and nobody came to get them. We came the next day and they were still there barking and folowing us. They are abandonned puppies. If you get a chance to meet them and have some food for them i am sure they Will be very happy as i gave them food on the second day and they jump on it because they where so hungry.

It's a full on Winter Wonderland! Just follow the signs to Bigradska Gora, cross the bridge and drive up the mountain till you see the gate, park and walk up for 3km. The walk up is gorgeous! Untouched snow glistening in the sun, surrounded by the forest and so much serenity. It's the perfect time to enjoy the lake by yourself, we were pretty much the only ones there!
The lake is frozen but not entirely, can't walk or sled on it, but still very beautiful to look and enjoy. It get's very cold once the sun goes behind the mountain so you probably wanna plan to head back down by 1pm. Entrance is free, at least it was yesterday (Sunday).

For € 3,- per person you can drive up to the lake. It’s possible to walk around it, rent bikes, a boat or kayaks.
We rented a 2 person Kayak for €5,- /hr which was enough to paddle around the full lake.
If you want to camp at the lake you have to pay extra.
Beautiful and quiet place to spent a few hours.

Managed to drive up there in a regular car after some rain in April. I would only recommend doing that if you are a confident driver. Phenomenal views as expected although the water level looks lower than normal. This is a beautiful place!

We went to the top of the mountain to enjoy the view. Google maps and Waze guided us through a terrible off-road road, where we had to pave our own road with stones and pieces of wood, because the holes and ditches were so bad that it was impossible to drive through it. When we came back, we didn't want to use this road anymore and thought, whatever happens, let's go around. However, it turned out that there is a new asphalt road under construction, which neither Waze nor Google maps showed. So if the app wants to direct you off the asphalt road to an off road path, don't go and just drive along the asphalt road, it will lead you right to the free parking lot at the top of the hill. From there, you need to walk a little along the road to the viewing platform. I recommend wearing closed shoes as there were a lot of sharp rocks in some places.

Google Maps and Waze guide you exactly along the asphalt road to the large free parking lot. To see the waterfall, you have to pay an entrance fee, but the ticket was not very expensive. The place is very nice, well maintained. There are also some picnic spots. If you have visited the Sopotnica waterfall before, unfortunately Gostilje pales in comparison. So I recommend visiting them in reverse order. Otherwise, the views are nice, but there is no wow effect. Near Gostilje there is also the Spotnica cave, which I recommend visiting on the same day.

The entrance fee was cheap , about 2 euros . There are a couple of places to have a coffee next to the waterfall. Beautiful place for photos and relaxing on a bench enjoying the views. Toilets are available in the park. There are also horses at the entrance for taking a ride if you like

This waterfall is fascinating, the area around it is very well maintained: you can literally spend hours there. Good kid’s playground, spots for picnic, and of course the waterfall itself that worth every dinar you pay for the entrance (200 din per adult).
Lifehack: come on weeksay in a rainy weather to be the only visitor))))
Stopić Cave is an astonishing limestone cavern that features a stunning waterfall, natural bathing spots, and two halls equipped with vibrant lighting. The cave may be small in size but it is well-kept and fascinating to explore. It's definitely worth a visit as the tickets are reasonably priced and it makes for an interesting diversion. Despite having limited feedback available online, this unique location comes highly recommended and boasts a superb setting.
Highly recommend!! It's a great location. We were unsure because there were not many reviews, but i don't regret at all going! It's such a great place, and a superb location

Very nice cave, well lit and secured. Your ticket costs 250 dinars, and with it you get an audio guide, so you can also enjoy the history and story of the origin of the cave.
There are a lot of stairs, so if the weather is a bit rainy, you have to be careful. The path is secured, so there are no issues when it comes to safety.

A lovely place not far from the parking. The visit tooks about 1 hours, and it's not necessary to wear any special equipment: sport shoes are recommended. The cave has light projectors to be enoughly good illuminated.

Fantastically beautiful cave! Very spectacular water baths with water cascading over the edge. Ice stalagmites and ice jellyfish on the stairs. Very atmospheric and worth a visit.
Entry cost is 400 dinar for adults and 80 dinar parking.
Slots from 8 to 13 are not available for visitors.

Way too small, but at least it is hard to lost in it. The ticket for 1 person is 250 RSD (2.12 euro)
Be prepared it is cold in here (10*C)

A beautiful cave that you can visit . There is plenty of parking at the start of the path at a small fee (70 cents) . There is a nice paved path of about 300 meters that leads to the entrance of the cave. There is a ticket office there with a small fee to enter the cave (2 euro) . The cave itself is well lit and can be explored following the path created that goes up and around the whole place. It is not very big and you can see the whole place in about half an hour. Don't forget to get a jacket as it is a bit cold in the inside 🤣.

The Stopića Cave is a limestone cave near Sirogojno, on the slopes of Mount Zlatibor in western Serbia. It has been protected by the state as a natural monument. By 2022 it became the most visited cave in Serbia. It is a river cave, as the stream of Trnavski Potok flows through it. It was named after the nearby Stopići hamlet of the Rožanstvo village.

You had to pay for both parking and entrance to the cave, but the prices were not expensive. I've been to many caves, but this one was special because it also had a waterfall inside. It was a pretty cool experience. The cave entrance was also very spectacular and something different that I have not seen before. I definitely recommend a visit. The Gostilje waterfall is also nearby, which you can visit on the same day.

Though its small, cave is interesting and well maintained. For a cheap ticket its an interesting little detour and worth your time.

A nice small cave system with colourful lighting and interesting cave formations.
The access is by paved road ended by a paid parking, then about 5 minutes of walk through a nature trail to the cave entrance. Moving around in the cave is safe (protected by bridges and rails) and quite easy and it can all be explored in roughly 10 minutes.

Just a few kilometers from Zlatibor is this cave that you should visit just to feel the atmosphere inside it and see what nature can actually do. Entrance is 400 dinars. , provided plenty of parking spaces for cars and the price is 80 dinars. The approach to it is steep but generally well secured. Maybe it would be better if it was lit a little more inside and without those light show lights. It is very beautiful and one of the better caves in Serbia.

This is a very beautiful place, but the opening hours are incorrect. In fact, they close at 16.30, you can only enter until 16.15 and they will rush you. Therefore, if you want to visit, I recommend coming at lunchtime

a cave with not so rich cave decoration, but with unique tubs that are full of water in the spring. the paths inside the cave are beautifully designed. there is a bus parking lot next to the main road. if you take the road towards the cave, you will reach the car park. access to the cave is via a well-maintained path that passes through the forest.

Sirogojno is a Serbian village situated on Mt. Zlatibor that boasts an open-air museum or "ethno village" called the Old Village Museum. This expansive museum spans nearly 5 hectares and features genuine artifacts of daily life from the 19th century gathered from all over the Zlatibor region, showcasing ordinary aspects of life during that era.
The Studenica Monastery is a remote religious site dating back to the 12th century that boasts stunning churches, scenic views, and impressive frescoes. It is considered one of Serbia's most sacred sites and was established by Stefan Nemanja, the founder of the Serbian empire. The monastery comprises two well-preserved churches made from white marble - Bogorodicina Crkva (Church of Lady) and Kraljeva Crkva (King's Church).

Beside monastery Studenica is monumental structure and family tomb of Nemanjića, this place is a whole lot more. That is a holly land and spiritual well (spring) for all that are seeking for God. That is a UNESCO heritage that lies at a lower side of Golija mountain. So if you are seeking for God, or you are Byzantine culture lover, or you are nature lover, or you are just a passing by, dont miss this holly place.
In front of monastery there is a Studenica inn where you can rest, sleep, eat and refresh, but before coming to inn take a call to check are they opened for guests.
Wish you safe trip and pleasant stay.

This monastery is one of the most beautiful ones I've been to so far. It's located amongst mountains and the scenery is just amazing. I would recommend coming to the monastery on a working day rather than a weekend as I assume it'd be less crowded. When we visited, there was a lot of high schoolers due to a school trip and there was quite a bit of tourtists as well.

Mother monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church, built at the very end of 12th century. The main church is a fantastic bland of east orthodox and the west Romanesque style, with well preserved frescoes. It keeps the holy remains of the several Serbian king and princesses from the beginning of 13th century. Smaller church is 200 years younger, but with amazing frescos!

The Memorial Park October in Kragujevac is a sprawling 352-hectare park that serves as a poignant reminder of the tragic events of World War II. The sombre museum located within the park provides visitors with an insight into the harrowing story of the 1941 massacre in which approximately 3000 civilians were killed during the German occupation of Serbia. The site boasts walking paths, sculptures and numerous memorials, including a gallery featuring paintings by Petar Lubarda.

Beautiful memorial park with several monuments and a museum. Museum was under reconstruction and didn't work, though. Nice place to spend afternoon and to get to know serbian history and some facts about WWII

On any given night, there are hundreds of people exercising. The monuments to execute Serbians are thought provoking. Sunset is the perfect time for a long, leisurely stroll around the park.
Ok, so here is the thing: since 2018. pools are for the hotel guests only. Or you can get in but you would have to pay full day pool and wellness and spa entrance, which is pricey. It is 5* hotel after all. But that also means that there is no crowd at the pool, waiting time is non existant and especially before noon aqua park is almost empty.
You also can't bring your own food, but you can buy snacks and meals at the pool restaurant. Prices are mid-range.
I'm not sure about negative comments about the staff, from what I've seen everyone is polite, professional and doing a good job.
All in all, it is steep price-wise but you get premium experience.

At the only open restaurant it was a little bit chaotic and we had to wait relatively long for food and drinks.

All is nice and perfect and clean etc, but one thing was driving me crazy "cash or credit card" after each single thing I did, whether I ordered ☕ or did massage, like I will escape from there. I didn't feel comfortable. I felt like a walking open wallet. Customer care is really under question mark, not to mention mind blowing prices. Its not my thing and I wooldnt recommend it if u want to enjoy and relax. When a bill arrives u will not b relaxed.

Belgrade's Aeronautical Museum is a large, circular building with a gift shop and simple cafe. It has a variety of vintage aircraft on display, including military and civilian planes. The trip out to Nikola Tesla Airport is well worth the effort, as the museum inside is full of fascinating aviation technology.
I had the incredible opportunity to visit the Aeronautical Museum in Belgrade, and it was an experience that left me in awe. As an aviation enthusiast, I was particularly thrilled to see the famous downed F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter on display, which added an extra level of intrigue to my visit.
First and foremost, the museum itself is well-organized and exhibits a vast collection of aircraft from various eras, showcasing the rich aviation history of Serbia. The display halls are spacious, allowing visitors to comfortably explore the impressive array of planes, helicopters, engines, and other aviation artifacts.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the F-117 Nighthawk. Seeing this iconic aircraft up close was an absolute treat. The museum's careful preservation and presentation of the F-117 is commendable. It offers an excellent opportunity to examine the unique design and learn about the history and capabilities of this groundbreaking stealth aircraft.
Overall, my visit to the Aeronautical Museum in Belgrade, particularly to see the downed F-1117 Nighthawk, was an unforgettable experience. Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply someone curious about flight and history, this museum is an absolute must-visit. The combination of captivating exhibits, knowledgeable staff, and the opportunity to witness the iconic F-117 make it a destination that should not be missed. I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in aviation!

In general this museum it's amazing with the variety of the planes and worth to visit but it's a pity the overall image of the museum. Looks like they don't take care of it. Needs a lot of maintenance... There like water drops in many points of the museum. It's sad to walk through museum while it looks like this. Staff at the entrance was very friendly.

Really cool aviation museum. The aircraft inside the museum are in really great shape. The aircraft outside the museum are in poor condition. This museum has so much potential with the right levels of investment. Huge number of planes to be restored outside (and could be sold to other museums around the world). Museum outlines a long history of Yugoslavian Aviation. I really enjoyed the visit.

Lots of Yugoslavian planes and war planes to see. The planes display outside is for free to take pics but you need to pay if you want to go inside..
The inside is super hot during the summer because there is no window and it's surrounded by glass.

By and large, the museum is one of the best in the world in it's field. If you want to see the American drone named "Predator" itself, this museum is a must to visit in your list. Just a very few people have seen it without being annihilated. This notorious unmanned vehicle was deadly and accurate when NATO was bombing Yugoslavia. The technology was a breakthrough; anyway, the Serbs cold intercept it.
Alexander Potapov — Google review
Nice place to visit while waiting for a flight. However, collection of the planes that is placed outside of the building is vulnerable to weather conditions and is destroying planes.

That is quite special, the things you can discover are great, a big variety of aircrafts from all around the world and all ages ! But the building itself is old, like 70s and nothing done since then ... So has a bit of "lost place" feeling, but I would say if you like the topic of aviation then go for it !
Robin Kinslayer — Google review
It’s old, it’s run down, and it requires lots and lots of renovation and maintenance BUT it’s a beauty on its own right. Just the way it is. The look and feel will tell you much more than meets the eye. You will learn much history about aviation and about this country. You will fall in love. Highly recommended.
