I would be the last to review this place. This is a historic place and UNESCO recently recognized it too. The architecture is amazing and cannot be described in words. If government can maintain it a little bit more nicely then this would be a huge tourist attraction.

The more than 800 year old Ramappa Temple also known as Rudreshwara Temple is a Kakatiya style Hindu Shiva Temple which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located at Palampet village in Mulugu district of Telangana, India. Archeology Department of India is at present opening up the remnants of other temples in the vicinity of the existing three temples. The foundation is made up of sandbox technology. Carved into each and every pillar, dome and wall are details so miniscule and sharp they even surprise the most advanced sculptors. What is even more fascinating is that these details were carved onto black basalt and red sandstone, materials know for being delicate and the Gopuram and Kupola are made with light bricks. It is a cool and calm place without much rush. The temple is timed between 6 A.M. and 6P.M. this place is abundant in terms of nature. It is a must visit place.

I gave rating of 5 as its more tick in a box. I can never rate such a beautiful place, it's indeed one of the finest marvel declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Absolutely a delight to spend time at this place. Every step you take once you enter the temple premises leaves you mesmerized.
I was just thinking how did one carve such a marvel. Truly amazing. Lord Shiva Linga's are huge, and when I say huge indeed. They are like 6 to 7 feet hight. Ceiling, Walls, Floor, every bit of it is worth spending some quality time.
Road to this place is good and you will not have any difficulty reaching the place. It will be good if you can pack some food and enjoy as a picnic too. But be very careful not inside or nearer to temple as you will find enough monkeys waiting to attack. And if you ask me, why would they attack, my answer is as they are monkeys, they will... 😆😀

A UNESCO heritage site. Maintained very well with good lawns on the walkway to temple and with necessary amenities of water etc. Architecture is good . Guides are available at the location. Photography is allowed inside but restricted to not take the photo of Lord Shiva . This temple withstood earthquakes and the bottom huge beams can be seen that they are inclined and protruded from the ground due to the earthquake.

Amazing Architecture!! The Temple is beautifully made. It is a living temple and daily worship is performed by the priest. There are no entry fees for visiting this temple. I highly recommend going in the morning or evening hours, The afternoons are very hot and you won't enjoy it as much. There are many stalls before the temple selling snacks and drinks and other items for children like toys etc. It is a perfect getaway for families.

Very nice temple showcasing Kakatiya architecture, amazing carvings. But quite ravaged by earthquakes and past wars/plunder. It feels like it will come crumbling down any day. But overall a nice place especially if you are interested in architecture and history.

It’s our Heritage. So many attacked that temple, but even today we can feel the greatness of our kings , sculptors. We have to show these types of places to our children, so that they can know what’s our ancestors are. How they showed our culture our rituals our sanathana dharma, our history in the form idols, sculptures. Today so many tells that , what’s in India. But if we see these types of places we can say and show the world that India is developed country in the art of culture tradition , education, economy, and what not. Thank u for our Archeological department and government for preserving the History of Bharath.

The Thousand Pillar Temple, a Hindu temple constructed during the Kakatiya dynasty in the 12th century, boasts intricate carvings and shrines of deities. The temple's magnificent architecture is accentuated by a central dome adorned with carvings of gods and goddesses, as well as an intriguing inscription on one of its pillars. Despite potential parking issues, the temple's maintenance is admirable and its evening illumination adds to its charm.
We visited this famous temple on a weekday, it is about 20mins away from the Warangal railway station. Like me, don't be surprised if you cannot see the 1000 pillars at once, if you look closely, the 1000 pillars are engraved intricately close to one another and form the walls of the temple. The beautiful carvings are on the walls and ceilings are mesmerizing, the temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The vibe here is so serene, we spent about 40mins here. There is no entry fee. The well maintained park surrounding the temple premises is good for relaxing. A must visit place for architecture and history enthusiasts.

Travel: It was easy to locate and reach the destination. But there might be a problem of parking space.
Destination: As it was evening time, the crowd was not hefty and the entire place was commendable for it's maintenance and illuminating. The main temple certainly consisted of carvings of gods and goddesses, with the centre dome. Also something noticeable was that one of the pillars on the dome had some writing. The complete nuance of this heritage is wonderful to explore.
Amenities: I haven't figured this one and not sure if they have washrooms and other facilities.
Summary: It is a good place to know our heritage and to explore it's ferocity.

RUDRESWARALAYAM / THOUSAND PILLAR TEMPLE-
Rudreswara Temple locally known as Veyisthambhalagudi (Thousand Pillars Temple] is one of the fine and earliest available examples of Kakatiya art, architecture and sculpture. It was built by Rudra Deva and named after him as "Sri Rudreswara Swamy temple with the presiding deity as Rudieswarg In 1163 CE in the style of later Chalukyan and early Kakatiyan Architecture. The Plan of the temple is star shaped and triple shrine (Trikulalaya houses three deities Rudresward Vasudeva and Suryadeva in Western, Northern and Eastern shrines respectively around a central hall RangaMandaps) The lemple measures over 31 x 25m and stards on a platform raised to a height of 1 m from the ground. There is a KalyandMandapa located to the South of the temple famously known as Thousand Pillared Mandapa, which has about 300 pillars. The unique lype of foundations known as send box technique was integrated to raise the temple complex which subsequently turned to be the major cause for their damage and abandonment. Ine skill of Kakaliya Sculptors is manifest in adroit crafts man ship and flawless ivory carving technique in their ast. The ingenuity of Kakaliya sculptors is visible in likes of lathe turned, and shiny polish in colerite and granite stone sculpture and craft works of RangeMandage. The roof of the temple is devoid of any superstructure at present.
There is a Nandi placed in the open space placed between the main temple and the pillared mandapa. The garlond of bells
round the neck and with other ornaments embellished on the Nandi portrays Kakatiye touch. The elegant carvings at the richly decercted pillars under a spacious ceiling spanning the embellished side slabs identical to wood carvings is an achievement of unparalleled excellence of ine Kakatiya Architect. Other units here include a rectangular stepped Pushkorini, a thorana entrance in the East.

Historic place with beautiful architecture. With great and old history, Temple is located in hanumakonda,
One of the popular places to visit in Warangal !!!
The main attraction of this place is their pillars which attracts people from various places. Madapamu made with thousand pillars, so this place famous with thousands pillars temple,
neglected by the state Government, I was visited around 18 years back, on that time madapamu little bit damaged, they are tried to set, they removed some pillars, unexpectedly archaeology department found water in below the madapamu, previously they built on water, They is connection between bhadrakali temple and thousand pillars madapamu, they are neglected and taken so many year’s, I was visited in recently still they are constructing, and also I observed that previously is spacious place, I feel that temple place is occupied, constructed houses,
it is a Lord Shiva temple also known by Rudreshwara Swamy temple, I feel that something is missing in temple( I was visited so many years back)
It is a calm and quiet place to be visited in the early morning and late evening to experience this historic temple.
A pond is situated towards the left of the entrance , my last visit is not good, but now is good condition, government must take care and save heritage sites, this are represent our culture

I enjoyed visiting this place as it takes me back to my childhood days. Needless to mention about what an architecture marvel it is. At least I cannot describe in my own words. The temple is currently under renovation and there is work going on. It was little difficult to understand what they are trying to do, but hope whatever they do it will be best.
Temple is in city and just few minutes away from Badrakali Temple. So if you plan to visit cover that as well. We could not due to time constraint.
There is small well kind of place, it's called Kolanu where devotees probably used to take bath in olden days. Now it's a residence for loads of tortoises. It was nice to see, it did not become shabby with plastic and dirty, except water turned totally green with moss.
All said and done, I enjoyed visiting the place in past and present and will any day love it in future too. 😀

Travel: It's really embarking to visit this place. It stands out in its nature and scenery. The travelling journey shouldn't take much time from the main city. There was parking space available for the arena and the foot journey to reach the main temple isn't much of an issue.
Destination: As soon as you entire the main premises, you will be astounded by the huge rocks beside which the two shrines of the goddess reside, lightning up the entire structure with its enchantment. Whilst you enter the main temple area, you will be bestowed with the view of lake around the temple which was enlightening. The serenity of it was embazzling to grasp that you cannot have enough of it. Inside the temple, there's calm and peace, along with a section dedicated for traditional sarees. And you end your journey with view of another huge rock that is illuminated with lights and few shrines of the goddess.
Amenities: The washroom was a risky journey with it being in a different place and the pathway was not visible. The condition of the washrooms was pathetic and haven't been cleaned. Other facilities was not scrutinized by me.
Summary: The serenity of the place and aura of this temple should be known by encountering it in person, by visiting this place.

I heard that this is one of the most powerful and places in the warangal district. Must visit the place to worship Bhadrakali Devi. The nature and aura of the temple is peaceful. The Sree Bhadra Kali Devasthanam temple is a famous Hindu temple located in Kerala, India. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, a form of the goddess Kali, who is known for her fierce yet protective nature. The temple's history dates back many centuries and it holds cultural and religious significance in the region.
The temple is believed to be built in 625 A.D by the King Pulakeshin II of Chalukya dynasty to commemorate his victory over Vengi region of Andhra Desham, as per the writings on the temple wall. Kakatiya kings later have adopted the temple and considered Goddess Bhadrakali as their kuladevata. Bhadrakali temple is situated atop a hill between the cities of Hanamkonda and Warangal in Andhra Pradesh. The presiding deity of the temple is goddess Kali in her fierce form – large eyes, grim countenance, and eight arms wielding different weapons. The image is made of stone and it sits on her vehicle, the lion. Goddess Bhadrakali is considered to be a symbol of fortitude and fierceness. Bhadrakali is a terrifying manifestation of Goddess Kali that defends the noble from evil, brings good fortune and success in the lives of the worshippers. Bhadrakali Bhadrakali appeared from the third eye of Shiva to kill demon Darika. Bhadrakali is one of the most powerful forms of Goddess Parvati or Devi. Goddess Parvati is the consort of Lord Shiva and Bhadrakali is one of the nine forms of Devi.
Bhadrakali is a form of Shakti. This is considered to be one of the 51 Shakti 'pithas' of India.

Pandit will be there, you can have your puja, we visited this temple in weekday, so not much crowded. Weekend may be little crowded. You need to maintain queue to enter the temple. In case of heavy crowd, there will be separate queue where you can pay money and have your darshan early.
Lake view behind the temple is mesmerizing.
Separate shoe shop is there where you can keep your shoes before entering the temple.

A religious place.
The temple is located beside a lake (Bhadrakali Lake). New temple structures have been built on top of the older stone temple. This older stone structure can only be glimpsed at, from the outside, but experienced in full once completely inside the temple.
No photos are allowed to be taken inside the main temple, but are allowed outside. There is also a park attached to the temple. There are also a couple other small temples other than the main Bhadrakali temple.
BEWARE:
1. There are monkeys.
2. Although there is no ticket required for Darshan, there are 50/- and 100/- tickets to skip the queue. This is especially useful when one needs to avoid the crowd and wants to directly go inside. This is useful on Friday as there is more crowd on that day.

Temple place very serene. Amma presents herself as Bhadrakali and the divine form is pleasant.
Please come with the kids, after the Darshana, spend some good time sitting in the open courtyard and on the benches overlooking the pond.
The huge rocks abutting the temple complex are mighty.
Limited parking. Signage is not sufficient and difficult for new persons to find.

This temple is for Goddess Kali, Also known as savitri peeth. This is belived to be the place where goddesses Sati disrupted her father's yagya where shiva was not invited. The place is situated on a hill top.
The temple is believed to be built in 625 A.D by the King Pulakeshin II of Chalukya dynasty to commemorate his victory over Vengi region of Andhra Desham, as per the writings on the temple wall. Kakatiya kings later have adopted the temple and considered Goddess Bhadrakali as their “Kula Devatha”.

From Hanamkonda bus stand we have to take auto to reach this temple. Booked a rapido bike which costed Rs 30 from hanamkonda bus stand to this temple. From 1000 pillar temple we get share autos, but from main road from where the share auto stops this temple will be about 10 minutes walk.
Reached this temple at about 7: 45 Am. Had darshan directly without any queue as the temple had no visitors at time i reached the temple. Mobile phones are allowed inside temple but photography of goddess is not allowed . Temple is small and architecture wise nothing to speak about. There is a free footwear stand near the temple .There is a lake near this temple. Many monkeys are there so be careful of your belongings.

The Warangal Fort is a preserved complex with carved stone towers and gateways that date back to the 13th century. It is a significant historical site for enthusiasts, featuring many stone carvings in shattered condition. Visitors can spend time exploring the fortress until it closes at 6 pm. A sound and light show is also available at 7 pm in Telugu and at 8 pm in English/Hindi (depending on crowd).
Its not fort. There r lots or remains of very old and very very beautiful temple.
The work done is mesmerizing. Very beautiful. You can see how invaders have broken face of several statue and what a big time damage they did to our temples. Still the remains of that temple is worth watching.

Very good maintenance by Archeological Survey of India . Ticket price is 25 . There is an option to get it for less price for 20 but that requires going to a website and giving details of everyone entering.
The ruins are maintained well and greenery is good . You can spend around 15-30 minutes in there. Opposite to is Childrens park where decent good child activities are present in economical prices .

Ruins of ancient fort of Warangal.
This has got 4 stone-carved arches in each direction, with some ruins in the middle . The sculptures speak up of the marvelous skills of the sculptors.. guides are available for better understanding of the sculptures.
Tickets - 20/adult, children upto 15 yrs of age have free entry.
May take around 30 minutes for completing the tour.

They have online ticket booking through an archeological survey of India (Only Rs. 20). When you take tickets in person it's Rs.25. Not many shops are present outside for refreshments, food, try to bring your own. The fort is neatly maintained. It has original structures. Worth seeing.

This is one of the major tourists attraction of Warangal. The fort was originally built by the rulers of Kakatiya dynasty but now you could see the remains of the fort.
The place is very well maintained. You could spent some quality time with your family. The remains of the fort reminds of the archeological brilliance of Kakatiya dynasty. It's a paradise for the people who loves photography.

To visit ekasila park first , then the fort.
You need to visit before light fails, that is 6.30 pm.
If you you have an appetite for sculpture, it's the best place to visit. You need atleast 2 hours to observe each and every monument and feel them.
You would be speechless and amazed by those brilliant monuments.
You can also witness the irreparable damage caused and you will leave the place with a heavy heart.
And most importantly, to know about the place better and it's historical importance, don't forget to visit the sound and light show. It is available in both English and Telugu.

The history of the Warangal Fort dates back to the reign of the Kakatiya dynasty, who commissioned its construction as a stronghold to defend their kingdom from external threats. Over the centuries, the fort underwent several expansions and renovations, each adding to its grandeur and magnificence. Its strategic location atop a hill provided a vantage point for monitoring trade routes and safeguarding the kingdom's interests.

The ruins are preserved in good condition and are beautiful to look at. There is a lot of history here. The only thing I felt bad was that some visitors were sitting on the rock remains of the ruins. The architecture of Swayambhu temple is of 1300-1400. We should respect our heritage. Also we should not touch the pillars and monuments as it can damage the architecture. You can buy tickets online now using ASI government website in advance or at the site also. It is cool as it prevents corruption at ticket booth.

I have to commend them for the amount of thought and effort that went into making sure the visitor's experience is the best it could be. You could spend hours here and not want to go home.
The food was healthy. Even the banquet hall was really nice, it's great for any kind of function. If you invite people here for a gathering, there is no chance of your guests being bored.

Hussain Sagar Lake, located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, is a popular tourist destination. This man-made lake was constructed in 1562 to meet the water and irrigation needs of the city. It is surrounded by Lumbini Park, Indira Park, and Sanjeeviah Park. The centerpiece of the lake is a large Buddha statue situated on a rock.
I would recommend visiting this place when sun is low, because the lighting at the statue of budhha is mesmerizing... And when sun totally sets down then the street lightining view is wonderful . You can do boating or can take boat to go near the statue which is in the centre of the lake..

The entire lake is surrounded by fun activities and refreshments. It a boiling pot of Indian culture, with people of diverse origins sharing a place. The tourist destinations include a bunch of very well maintained parks and gardens, religious sites and amusement parks. Keeping in mind the necessity of maintaining a well-rounded decorum for the young people, there is the sanjeevaiah children's park only allowing children inside. The flowers all around the lake are impressively maintained by the authority. The ghats are mostly dirty though, but anyways you can have a good time taking walks and enjoying the sunset.

The Hussain sagar lake is inbetween the cities of Hyderabad with Secunderabad. It contains the popular Gautam Buddha statue in the middle and is one of Hyderabad's most popular tourist attractions. This statue is said to be one of the world's largest statues. Hussain Sagar offers a spectacular view of Lake, a view of the city, which draws many visitors to the area. It's most impressive at night when the statue's lights are turned on.
Tankbund road on hussain sagar lake is good for morning walkers, senior citizens to spend time in the morning hours. In the evening families visit the tank bund with their kids and spend time in the lawns of the tank bund , have snacks and enjoy the view of Hussain Sagar lake.

TankBund is a place where you can enjoy the view if only you visit early in the morning. With years there has been a decent improvement in cleanliness to seating arrangement. The water is serene but not completely clean. Hyderabad needs a lot of improvement in regard to cleanliness and throwing of waste. People throw here and there even after seeing the trash buckets. There should be a law passed for this specifically - maybe there can be a change in regard to cleanliness. Otherwise you can enjoy the fresh air and have a calm family time.

Hussain Sagar was built across a tributary of the Musi river in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. The lake was named after Hussain Shah Wali, who was the Master of Architecture in the Kingdom. It is an artificial lake that holds water perennially fed by canals from Musi river. Hussain Sagar was the main source of water supply to Hyderabad before Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar were built on river Musi.
The Buddha statue was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighing 450 tons. It was carved by 200 sculptors for two years. The statue was transported to Hyderabad in November 1988. After initial problems, the statue was erected on 12 April 1992 on a red lotus pedestal.

Visited the beautiful Mandir in Hyderabad and was thoroughly impressed with the serene atmosphere and meticulous maintenance. Situated in the middle of the city, the Mandir is a peaceful haven that radiates cleanliness and hygiene, creating an aura of Shanti, peace, and Sukoon.
The highlight of the visit was the requirement to submit mobile phones and electronic valuables before entering the temple premises. This unique practice allowed me to fully immerse myself in the spiritual experience without any distractions. The management's efficiency in handling this process was commendable, contributing to a truly tranquil environment.
Additionally, the Mandir offers breathtaking scenic views that add to the overall charm of the place. If you're seeking a serene escape in the heart of the city, this Mandir is a must-visit. The temple is on a hill and doesn't allow taking photos inside. It has lots of stairs, which might be tough for older folks. But it's totally worth it because Lord Balaji is there. Plus, you get an awesome view of the city from the top, which is really cool. Overall, it's a great experience!

Birla Mandir is a calm place where you can go for free. While Mobile phones are not permitted inside, the temple provides a clock room, where we can keep our mobiles at no cost. The best part is the amazing view from the top, which makes you feel peaceful. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the city without any distractions.

Beautiful marvelous. Such an intricate architecture. Beautiful designed. Many devotees sing the Govinda jaap. A magnificent place for mind peace and meditation. Phones are not allowed inside the temple since photography inside the temple is not allowed. You have veg canteens outside the temple. This temple is located on a hill. A crowded place I would say.

Ramoji Film City is a must-visit destination, known as the world's largest film studio. It offers tours, live shows, and an on-site theme park and adventure zone. The iconic tourist attraction provides a behind-the-scenes look at Tollywood and Bollywood movies. With permanent sets like temples and courts, an amusement park, restaurants, and souvenir shops spread over 2000 acres, it guarantees a full day of entertainment for visitors of all ages.
Awesome experience! A half day fun trip. The place is easy to locate on the ORR. The studio tour is main attraction having Baahubali set and all. The other shows were also fun and entertaining. Has many eateries and lots of seating. The buses also take you around from place to place, so medium amount of walking. The crowd management is excellent and it's overall a fun trip.

Worth a visit if you are on a trip to Hyderabad - it is around 1 1/2 hours drive from City Centre. Gives an idea as to how films are made and sets are constructed. Need to either reach by around 9 am or stay there in one of the hotels inside the previous evening as you need a full day to see everything. Even a full day is a bit rushed. Best to pick up tickets ('Studio Tour' is good enough) online, go to the centre point (Eureka), attend the opening ceremony at 9.45 am, proceed to Studio Tour/Eco Tour (must do), have lunch, then go for the shows. Don't miss the Wild West Stunt Show! Lights, Camera, Action is interesting too. Rest of the shows are average, especially for someone who has been to other studios/sets elsewhere. Food within RFC is average or even below average. RFC can make the experience better by putting up their detailed e-brochure, program and map on their website. Their email IDs and contact numbers on the website are unresponsive and this is an issue they should address. They should also plant more trees! Overall, it is a nice experience while on a Hyderabad trip but considering the resources, the management can do so much more to make it a 'must see before I die' experience.

Very nice and well maintained. The support staff is very helpful. Over all good experience. Food is little big costly. The free activities when we reached most on it has not started. Was not worth going there. Garden and bonsai collection is very good. Opening and closing ceremony is very good.

Beautiful, gigantic but extremely overpriced and overhyped.
Pros:
A real city, you can get lost
Very beautiful and great for movie and nature lovers
Lots of greens and nice movie sets which can make you wonder
Cons:
Extremely overpriced
Kids can hardly enjoy
Toddlers will have to pay for the ticket although there is nothing for them
Some of the rides that kids and toddlers can enjoy will cost you extra, not included in the ticket
Bus tour route is circular, meaning A - > B - > C - > D - > A, so you can't visit, say point A from from point C.
You will get bored after a point as seeing only movie sets for the whole day is actually not that interesting as it sounds
P.S.:
Those who have seen Universal Studios and think this one also as the same, please note, that both are very different.

Despite being THE biggest and the largest film city in the world, it is maintained very well. The tour buses inside the film city are not only well maintained, neat and clean but also have very well trained, jovial and friendly guides.

Full day of excitement and fun. Best place to enjoy with family and kids. Baahubali set was the main attraction. Best time to visit this place is during winter as you need to walk a lot and hence in summer it will be very tiring. Lot of restaurants and snacking bar available at almost all locations.
Movie magic is another attraction where you enjoy movie making experience. Overall a great time well spent

Awesome place to hangout with friends or family. I visited in carnival season. Amazing sets. So beautiful. Full day trip with all sets and adventure park . Zip line, Arrow shooting, rain dancing, and many more games. You can book online and definitely skip the hectic queue.they are having their own shiny red buses inside to travel from one set to other. Food and water available inside. Very clean washrooms .kids have their own playing area with some rides and a great entertainment show with jinn , wonderful staff will show beautiful play to your child and will make them laugh. Last, you can enjoy many rides in their amusement area and enjoy snacks over there.

Fantastic experience. Car parking is near to ticket counter. Smooth entry and no waiting for bus. It takes about 15 minutes to actual Film City from ticket counter. Thereafter everything is arranged and organised so well that it becomes a day to remember. The volunteers are polite and helpful guiding the tourists all day long. Besides many film sets, there are plenty of parks and they are maintained impeccably. The cleanliness all around is outstanding and kudos to all who maintain it. The shows are all good and try not to miss them. Small food kiosks are available at every site and reasonably priced. Washrooms are very very clean. Moreover, drinking water is available at every place and one need not carry water bottles. The free rides offered in park are awesome. Moving around in customized red buses is special. Overall, an enjoyable day. Thanks to management.

I'd need to write a lengthy essay to fully describe everything. All I can say is that it's fantastic, incredible, and totally worth the 1593 rupees. You'll visit each spot one by one, starting with the opening ceremony, studio tour, European cities, Japanese garden, eco-tour, butterfly garden, and much more. Check out my photos for a better idea.

Top class! I was surprised that we have places like this in India.
Very well organized right from the time you enter the parking. All the shows were superb.
If you don't want to miss anything, reach there early - it takes one full day.
Towards the end there is butterfly park and collection of beautiful birds - they even have Ostriches.
Cafeterias are clean and food is okay.
When you reach, don't forget to take the bus tour first, that way you will know how much you are actually going to see and you can plan your time spent at each attraction properly.
A must visit place. The ticket rates are extremely reasonable. In fact, towards the end, I heard so many people say the tickets are priced so low considering what they have on offer.
Totally worth it!!!

A full on entertainment. Must place to visit for all age groups. The longer you stay the better it is. Tough to cover in one day. There are movie sets, parks, gardens, actions, dance sequences, horror house, food joints and full of adventure. Area wise it’s very big but there are buses from the pick up point which takes you inside.

It’s a beautiful experience. One should walk a lot. There will be many buses to hop on and hop off from one destination to another. It’s really a must watch city where almost every film sets have been set up and different parks have also been set up. It’s a very different experience people can experience. There are few hotels also where booking can be done for stay and see Ramoji film city. There are huge options to explore food items as well
Preethi Ashok — Google review
It is a very good place for people who have seen the movies and love to explore the sets. Overall it is not worth the ticket price. All the items here are overpriced. The items in the adventure park are also way too costly. And the complementary ones are of no use. The food is good. The bus system is also a bit wierd. The buses only leave when there is a significant amount of crowd in the bus. But otherwise it was a good experience.

Must visit while in Hyderabad.
Located around 60 kms from main Hyderabad city.
Spread over 1600 acres.
They have buses from the parking area to the film city and back.
Multiple buses are in service.
Full day tickets, morning or evening session tickets are available.
Very well organized and staff are always helpful and advice where to go after every show.
The usual waiting time is 15 to 20 minutes for the shows.
Multiple food stalls are available everywhere in the film city.
Food is costlier compared to hotels but still cheaper than malls.
Buses are available from point to point and are always available.
Need at least a full day to cover all the places.
The important thing is people will start getting tired by 4 pm since we need to walk a bit within the studios even though buses are there.

If you are going to Hyderabad and not visiting "Ramoji Film City" then you should think 2Wice.
So being an Indian we all have lots of influence of Indian Cinema Directly or indirectly on our life's through music, comedy, films, stories or any other way. So Ramjoji gives us the insight what goings on the other sides of the screen and how they shows us larger then life characters, scenes, actions.
Its worth the price for sure. You need a whole day to explore and you should start early with the opening ceremony and you should stay till closing ceremony. Staff puts lots of efforts for sure to make sure we are having fun in a cinematic style.
Few things which they lack or its not worth is the food they sell inside. Had very bad experience with this. Being so pricy they don't deliver the kind so service you expect and even the food quality is not that great. Specially buffets are not watched for the hygiene or the cleanliness. So my 4 star are for the food outlets they have inside.
Other than food it was an wonderful experience for sure.
Thank You. 🙏🏽

It's a must visit for everyone to see the world's largest film studio. Management is doing a good job, they keep providing the helpful information to see and help all the way from beginning to end. Drinking water and toilet facilities available at every place whereever you are going to need. It's once in a lifetime experience. There are lots of things to see and experience in one day , difficult to see cover everything in one day, still you can manage to see all if you will hurry. Food is expensive inside though , they should keep it reasonable, lots of people are coming here everyday .

Over the course of 35 years, he dedicated his life to amassing a priceless collection from around the world. 3. Armour used by kings
4. Handicrafts made with elephant teeth (although it was a cruel process separating teeth but it just happened in history so you can enjoy art on them)

The place is great for history and art enthusiasts. It was full packed down on Saturday when I visited. People come with full families.
There are so many attractions in the museum. We waited for the musical clock but it was not that worth it.
But, the elephant tusk section is really good, though. Metal section is also really good. It's way way better than the museum at Chowmahalla Palace.
The cafeteria is okay, you will get everything but would have to pay good money. Not enough space, it was total chaos at the cafeteria. Although, there is a restaurant, it was outside the main museum building.
Visit on a weekday if you want to explore peacefully but I have heard, its mostly crowded everyday.

Only drawback, needed more maintenance else everything is good here.

The mobile ticket will get access to use the audio guide for the museum and I think that's a good integration and it makes the ticket worth it and justify the pricing. In this huge museum you have to pay for everything even for the washroom. Online tickets are a little complicated. Otherwise everything goes smoothly.

The museum has such a beautiful collection, which unfortunately contrasts with the state of the building it is hosted in. The place is not kept clean and is rundown. On a normal day, the museum is very overcrowded, to the point it is difficult to enjoy the beautiful displays. There is a cafeteria that feels unhygienic and lacks things like a Coke Zero. As for tickets, there is no online booking, quite some queues to get tickets on arrival, and you need to buy separate “phone tickets” if you wish to take pictures. The main attraction is an old English clock. Beautiful museum, but didn’t really enjoy the day there.

Elderly with knee or leg pain stay away as you cannot return as it a one way stair once started will have to go to the top . Once on top will have to return as well . The view from the top is magnificent. And is worth all the efforts . The surrounding is packed with shops and sellers . There is a tea shop do get tea from there and the famous Hyderabad biscuits . There is a mix biscuits box which has all the flavors . They do t allow bags so either don’t take bags or sacs else keep it as the deposit station for 20 rs an hour . Charminar is a true icon of Hyderabad and a must-visit for anyone exploring the city's rich history. This historic monument, with its distinctive architecture and cultural significance, is a sight to behold. However, my recent visit to Charminar left me with mixed feelings.
The monument itself is undeniably beautiful, and the surrounding area has a unique charm. The intricate details and the grandeur of Charminar are worth admiring. It's a great place for history enthusiasts and photography lovers. The view from the top is also quite impressive, offering a panoramic glimpse of the city.
However, my experience was marred by the overwhelming crowd of street vendors that has taken over the area. While these vendors add a vibrant touch to the ambiance, they also make the place extremely hectic. Navigating through the bustling streets to get a clear view of Charminar can be a bit of a challenge. If you're looking for a serene and peaceful atmosphere, this might not be the best place to visit.
To truly enjoy Charminar, I would recommend taking a taxi or ride-sharing service to get as close to the monument as possible. This will save you from the chaos of parking and the hassle of weaving through the street market. Be prepared for some persistent vendors trying to sell you various trinkets and street food, which can be distracting.
In summary, Charminar is a significant historical site that is definitely worth a visit, but the experience can be somewhat marred by the chaotic atmosphere created by street vendors. To make the most of your visit, consider taking a taxi to get closer to the monument and enjoy its architectural beauty without the added hustle and bustle.

Charminar is a captivating historical monument that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Hyderabad. Its impressive architecture and intricate details make it a must-visit landmark. The surrounding market, known as Laad Bazaar, adds to the charm, offering a vibrant shopping experience. However, the monument can get crowded, impacting the overall experience for some visitors. Despite this, Charminar remains a symbol of Hyderabad's cultural and architectural significance.

The monument stands tall among the hustle and bustle of the place.
However the place is very hard to access, the entire area is overcrowded with people and hawkers. It is a sad sight to see that government has done nothing to keep the area clear around a historical monument.
Probably the best time to visit is early morning or midnight when there is no crowd. Heard that Sunday nights are also less crowded.
Go to the area if you enjoy the crowds (Note: no parking here)

Most famous landmark in Hyderabad. The name Charminar means "Four-Towers".The place is very crowded throughout the day. Local shops and street vendors make this place an ideal shopping area.
The entry fee is Rs 25 per adult. Payment can be done online also. Currently it's being renovated. A small temple also runs under the Charminar, which definitely shows the cultural diversity of India.

This is one of the significant historical identities of Hyderabad. What a place! This is a must-visit for anyone in the city, and the colors and atmosphere in the evening are superb. I’m reliably informed that weekends are particularly busy, and given the number of people on the mid-week day I visited, I’d encourage you to avoid them too, but it’s well worth battling the crowds to get into the center of the action. There are so many market sellers, although none are too pushy, live performances, and a generally friendly vibe. The history is great; there are so many good photo opportunities and a real insight into the local culture. Highly recommended.

The bustling bazaar that envelops this iconic structure presents a vibrant array of traditional treasures at surprisingly affordable prices.

One of the places not to be missed while in Hyderabad. It is most beautiful at night. We were not able to go inside, but the light up was so beautiful, it was worth it. The area around Charminar is a very busy shopping place. Main business being jewellery and bangles. The bangle stores will dazzle you with their bright display pieces. There are a lot of small eateries also. Be ready to walk at least 1 kM to explore the surroundings

A beautiful place that acts as a Time Machine. I felt transported hundreds of years back as I stood admiring the breath-taking view of the Charminar.
The bazaar surrounding the structure is vibrant and offer unique traditional items and an unbelievably affordable price. The roads are narrow and too crowded. But surprisingly I felt good about the crowd! Bargaining skills are highly valued here and one can get great discounts with good bargaining.
I wish there was a bit more cleanliness here considering he fact that it is the icon of Hyderabad.
Be prepared to face heavy traffic as you approach the minar due to narrow roads. I would recommend coming in an auto or two-wheeler to get the best experience. Also, be aware of pickpockets and thieves.
The market is amazingly vibrant, so make sure to explore the various bangles and artificers that are on display.
Overall, a great place and a must visit!

Visited A Star Place recently and the experience left me with mixed feelings. The historical monument is undoubtedly a popular spot, with numerous shops, stalls, and a variety of food options surrounding it. However, the monument itself seems to be under construction or renovation, which was a bit disappointing.
The entrance fee of 25 per person is reasonable, but considering the thousands of daily visitors, I expected the place to be better maintained. The crowds were overwhelming, making it challenging to fully appreciate the historical significance of the site.
It appears that improvements are underway, but as of my visit, the overall ambiance fell short of expectations. Hoping that ongoing renovations will enhance the experience for future visitors.

Chowmahalla Palace is an 18th- and 19th-century compound that served as the main residence of several nizams. The palace features grand buildings, lush garden courtyards, and the magnificent Khilwat Mubarak durbar hall adorned with Belgian crystal chandeliers. The southernmost courtyard houses a priceless collection of vintage cars and carriages.
Huge and well maintained palace. Vintage car collection is too good. You need a minimum of one and a half hours to see it and 2 hours to enjoy it. Lawn is relaxing especially during evening with soothing breeze. Chandeliers are breathtaking. For Indian citizens entry fee is Rs100.

This palace belonged to the Nizams and was opened to the public as a museum in the early 2000s. It is surrounded by narrow crowded roads and encroached by modern houses all around. The place has the main palace, a garden and courtyard kind of thing in the front, a clock tower and smaller mahals around it. The main palace has the darbar with beautiful chandeliers, rooms with the description of the history of Hyderabad and the Nizam Lineage. Also, there are rooms with old currency, seals, crockery, royal arms, army attires, etc. There is a beautiful garden at the back also with a small fountain/pond. Some of the mahals were closed or under renovation. Was disappointed as I couldn't see the Vintage cars. Overall, it is a good place to spend a couple of hours. Entry is 100rs per person, and you also have to pay 50rs if you want to click photos on the phone(but no one checks this). Beware of the parking lot supervisor. They try to extract more parking fees than the actual.

Golconda Fort, located just 11 km from Hyderabad, was the capital of a kingdom that thrived from the 14th to 16th century. The fort boasts 87 semi-circular bastions and sits atop a 120-meter high granite hill surrounded by massive ramparts. It passed through the hands of various dynasties before being claimed by the Qutb Shahis in the 16th century.

Nice place to visit if you are in Hyderabad. The evening light and sound show is under repair hence we couldn't watch it. This happens in evening 6:30. Make sure you check it's website before planning for this show.
Fort is big and has good history. Make sure you either read book or better take a tourist guide along. There are places where even if you whisper the sound travels more than a kilometre. Very thoughtful how in history people actually used knowledge of science which we just read and never use. Simple concepts but executed in perfection.
You do not have washrooms here. So take care.

The fort also offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, with panoramic views of Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. Visitors can climb to the top of the fort and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding countryside.
The fort is also rich in history, with a fascinating past that spans several centuries. Visitors can learn about the fort's history and the role it played in shaping the region's culture and history.
Overall, Golconda Fort is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history, architecture, and culture. The fort is well-maintained and offers a unique glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Hyderabad. The stunning views and impressive architecture make it a memorable experience for visitors.

I visited this fantastic place for the first time in my life. The whole place is really good and the view from the top is non- forgettable. One small problem is the pungent smell on the top of the fort.yiu can see the whole city from this place. Get your water bottles before climbing, because sometimes shops are close inside the fort and they have only two shops at the height.

A must visit place to visit due to its historical significance. You should visit the fort in day time and avoid entering it after 4pm as the fort closes at 5.30pm in the evening.
You will need around 2 to 3 hours and keep some food handy with you, you will not get anything except drinking water at the fort. It is recommended to visit during the second half of the day and then continue with a sound and light show at the fort to know its rich cultural history.

Located in Centre of Hyderabad, its one of main tourist spot.
Typically can spent 2-3 hours.
Nothing special, but history.
Interested persons can hire a guide, so they'll take us through history of the fort, and and also many ancient scientific things used.
Always remember to keep a bottle of water and coolers.
City view from top is worth.
Can have nice time with friends and family.

Beautiful fort!
Might be good to read up on the history before or you can take a guide too but it’s better if you explore it yourself. The view from the top is amazing but the stairs are quite the journey. Don’t forget cap, water and sun protection.

Great place to visit with friends and family. Try to visit in the evening and watch the sunset from the top of the fort. Very clean and well maintained surroundings.
It'll be a little hard for elderly people to get to the top even though there are well build stairs throughout. Try to bring a hat or umbrella and water if you're visiting the place on a sunny day

think the best time to visit this place is around 4.30pm whence you can stroll through the place in the evening sun and will also get time to capture pictures while you are going up the fort. It is beautiful to see the setting sun from the highest point in the place. There's no need to take a guide if you have the background knowledge about the place as they are going to describe only the significance of the various spots on the way.we can beautiful sunset and it's a historical place....

Amazing place to explore this history ...Try to avoid visiting this place in Sunny Day because of the heat else keep umbrella, hat or water bottle to deal with it. Not recommended for elderly people/ people having heart issue to climb to the top of the Fort as the steps are not easy to take. Overall it was an amazing experience

The fort is situated on a granite hill, the inner fort contains palaces, and mosques and there is a hill top pavilion. Most of these palaces and mosques are in ruins now, but still depict the magnificence of this place. If you are in Hyderabad, then you mustn't miss this place. There is a light and sound show in the evening. You can take the light and sound show tickets at around 5.30 PM. Paid parking is available, and parking fee is Rs. 50/-. Entry fee for this fort is Rs. 25/- per head and free for children. Also they only take cash for tickets, UPI or card payment not available, also they expect exact ticket amount, so one need to carry exact change.

It's a nice place to experience the old architecture. It's big and will take some time to explore completely. It has some good points where you can get good pictures clicked. You will have to walk a lot if you want to get to the top and witness the beautiful sunset. We made it on time and witnessed the sunset. The view is amazing. You can see the city from there. It has multiple spots to get some good pictures clicked. It also has a temple which you can visit. You can find shops selling water, juices and snacks at some dedicated points so no need to carry anything. A very photogenic place just don't litter there, put stuff in the bins which you'll find multiple places within the campus.

Wow what an ancient fort to come to in India, absolutely full of rich history. I highly recommend to come and take a guide tour with more information. This is the tallest point in the entire Hyderabad so it's well worth coming bring good shoes. Don't miss the light show projected on the entire fort at 630pm this is not to be missed.

Embark on a grand exploration of Golconda Fort, one of the largest forts I've encountered. The sheer magnitude of this historical marvel demands around 3 hours for a thorough exploration. While guides await at the gate to unfold Golconda's rich history (for a fee), the real magic lies in witnessing the breathtaking architecture and stone walls, far more mesmerizing than the pages of history books.
The fort's meticulous upkeep, coupled with convenient refreshment shops inside, ensures an enjoyable visit. The panoramic bird's-eye view from the top is nothing short of spectacular, offering a deep dive into history and culture. A small temple adds a touch of serenity to the experience. Make it a must-watch if you find yourself in Hyderabad, and don't miss the mesmerizing light show after dark.
Immerse yourself in the charm of old-world architecture at Golconda, a sprawling site that warrants ample time for exploration. Capture picturesque moments at various vantage points, especially during the enchanting sunset from the fort's summit. The cityscape unfolds beneath, providing a stunning backdrop for photography enthusiasts.
While the ascent may require some walking, the effort pays off with breathtaking views and numerous photo-worthy spots. Discover a small temple and strategically placed shops offering water, juices, and snacks, sparing you the need to carry provisions. This photogenic haven, however, comes with a plea: cherish the beauty, dispose of waste responsibly in the provided bins throughout the campus.
Historical enthusiasts will find Golconda Fort a monumental gem, a colossal palace offering a panoramic view of Hyderabad. For those seeking more insights, guides are readily available, and the modest entry fee of Rs. 25 for adults makes it an accessible and enriching historical excursion. Overall, a captivating blend of history, culture, and scenic splendor awaits at this iconic fortress. ✨🏰👌

Golconda Fort is definitely a must-visit place when you are in Hyderabad which is 8 to 10km away from the main city. The entry ticket is 25₹ and you require at least 2 to 3 hours to explore the Fort completely. To understand the Fort and its history in detail you may hire a guide.
The Fort and area are very well maintained but ruined by the so-called tourists by throw plastics everywhere.
The Fort area is very big and requires hiking to reach the top, be enough hydrated and carry a water bottle along with you. The best time to visit is either morning or post 4 to avoid the sunburns.
I love visiting the Forts as I feel the history in each and every corner of it. Inside the Fort, you will find many photogenic corners.
Overall, it was an amazing adventurous experience visiting the Golconda Fort.

Akkamahadevi caves are a must-visit in Srisailam, offering an adventurous experience. Accessible via motor boats from Srisailam's Pathala Ganga, the caves are located about 5 kilometers off the Hyderabad-Srisailam Road. Visitors can board a basket boat to reach the caves through a lush green river route. The journey takes about 4 hours round trip, with boat travel lasting around 1-1.5 hours.
Nice place I love place 🥰

It takes 4 hrs for up and down to the cave . Boat travel is about 1 -130 hrs .Won’t suggest for very senior people and people have knee problem . There is deep steep stairs for boarding the boat and also to wards the cave.
Inside the cave it’s stuffy and dust hence suggest nose cover or mask will be good . The cave is very dark and you may have to use mobile torch inside .
Suggest you to carry water bottle and if need be some snacks as you don’t get any thing on the way or at the cave . They charge you 650/- per person and only one trip a day starts at 10 am . The apsrtc booking office opens by 9am .

These caves are named after Akka Mahadevi who was a saint and great devotee of Lord Shiva in 12th century as she used to penance about lord Shiva at in these caves. One can visit this place by travelling about one and half hour through a steamer from Patalaganga of Srisailam. Suggest you to wear a mask while entering the caves in case if you have dust allergies. Upto certain extent a group of people can go together. After that one after the other can go and have Darshan of Lord Shiva inside the too narrow caves. At the entrance of these caves one can find a massive naturally formed rock slab without any supports in between.

Orvakallu Rock Gardens is a sprawling 1000-acre park that boasts of unique rock formations, ponds and a cave museum. It offers picturesque hiking trails that are popular among visitors who come here to take photographs. However, entry fees need to be paid and there have been reports of alcohol bottles found in the area which should not be allowed in public spaces. Additionally, visitors have noted a lack of proper maintenance with littered bottles strewn about and names etched on the rocks.

Okay, this is a place by the highway so if you are travelling on this route do visit.. the place is compilation of some wind eroded stones and boulders.. this place is a resort named Harita, has rooms for stay and a cafeteria. It's a 1km walkaround with some beautiful natural stone/rock formations. Closes at 6pm for outsiders but the occupants of the rooms in the resort can probably see a whole new perspective with lights in the night... There are some metal arts to make it interesting... Some use it for photoshoots and am sure they must love the results.. i liked my visit as it was about sunset and gave us some amazing views.. 👍😍 downside is people leave a lot os plastic and glass waste behind.. spoils the whole environment.. there is supposed to be a water body which i failed to see.. you will need around hour for looking around at leisure and to tek memories back

Entry ticket is 20/- per person. There are plenty of benches and rocks to sit and adore the beauty. Some idiots could be seen eating and throwing food waste inside. Also lot of plastic waste could be seen in some corners. Authority should take care of this to preserve the beauty of the place.

Orvakal Rock Garden, or Oravakallu Rock Garden, is the 1000 acre Sculpture Garden park with ancient cave and igneous rock formations between pools of water. It is located on NH-40 highway, outside the village of Orvakal, about 20 kilometres from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, southern India. There is a lot of facilities include Boating, Hotel etc., The park, with hiking paths that snake up a hill, was developed by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.
The content of the rocks is quartz and silica, a raw material for the glass industry. Several companies have petitioned for the ability to mine the area, which raises ecological concerns. The garden has been a site for film production, which has resulted in another ecological concern due to plaster of paris remnants left at the park after the movies were completed.

The Brindavana of Raghavendra Swamy: A Must-See for Any Visitor to Andhra Pradesh
The Mantralaya Temple is a resplendent and tranquil temple dedicated to the saint Raghavendra Swamy. The temple is situated in the town of Mantralayam in Andhra Pradesh and is a popular pilgrimage destination for Hindus from all over the world.
The temple complex sprawls over a very large area and encompasses a number of shrines, halls, and gateways. The most arresting feature of the temple is the Brindavana, or samadhi, of Raghavendra Swamy. The Brindavana is a vast, white marble structure that is encircled by a garden.
The ambiance at the temple is tranquil and spiritual, and it is a fantastic place to experience the rich culture of Andhra Pradesh. I would certainly recommend the Mantralaya Temple to anyone visiting the region.

I am talking about the floor ...it's too slippery especially with older people who must be more careful ..I don't know why they are using granite stones / any other which looks shiny..
But when it comes to safety ...not bothered 😕
Any way elders, heavy weight people , poor slippers/ Sandals/ shoes .
Especially when there is a water on floor / raining time / or not visibility..

We took AC suits which were on the 3rd floor and there was a frequent power cut, no proper UPS service we use to climb 3 floors most of the time.
I suggest the management should have an alternate power source in case of a power cut.
Overall the rooms were so clean and well maintained.

Had been visiting since 20 years and I used to love its simplicity but now it's too fancy and as I grow up, all I see is few pujaris arrogance and ego. Praying to God and then be extremely rude to others, not to forget the dogmatic rules.

The place is located in the prime location near to the temple but the booking procedure and the staff are not cooperative and not done with ease.
Very rude and unfriendly behaviour which is very irritating.
And also the place is not maintained well even though it is newly built the cleanliness is not maintained. The bathrooms are not cleaned properly.
They charge as much as the private places but definitely not worth the cost.
Be prepared for the unruly people and unclean rooms.

This temple was constructed by King Harihara Bukka Raya of the Sangama Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 15th century.[citation needed] It was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions.
One story of the site's origin is as follows: The sage Agastya wanted to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara on this site. However, the statue that was made could not be installed as the toe nail of the idol got broken. The sage was upset over this and performed a penance for Shiva. When Shiva appeared, he said the place suits Shiva better as it resembles Kailash. Agastya then requested Shiva to give the devotees a Parvathi Goddess as Lord Uma Maheswara in a single stone, which Shiva obliged.
A second story is as follows: Chitteppa, a devotee of Shiva, was worshiping Shiva and Shiva appeared to him as a tiger. Chitteppa understood that it was Lord Shiva in tiger form, and shouted Neganti Shivanu ne kanti (meaning: I saw Shiva I saw), and danced with joy. There is a cave called Chitteppa nearby. Sri Yaganti Uma Maheswara Temple is one of the few temples patronized by one of the great dynasties of India. Every year Maha Shivaratri is celebrated and a large number of devotees from all over Andhra Pradesh visit. Shiva, Parvati and Nandi are the main deities in this temple. This temple is 14 km away from Banaganipalli in kurnool dt. The saint lord Veerabrahmendra swami stayed here for some time and wrote Kalagnanam

Amazing temple to be visited, most of the time it’s crowded. Shiva is the main deity at this temple, once you come out of the darshan you will witness a huge Nandi statue. Just adjacent to the temple you will see a hill connecting from the shiva temple to this step hill. Once you climb the steep hill you will see Venkateshwara swamy. It is believed that Lord Venkateshwara stepped his foot 🦶 first here, Kadapa was his second and third is Tirumala. So the Poojari said that what ever we wish to happen in your life you can pray here and once it’s fulfilled we have to perform Pooja to the deity. Must visit temple.

There are few temples in this area of lord Shiva and other deities. One temple is on the ground and others are inside the caves, as you have to climb few steps to reach. Inside the the Shiva temple it is very vibrant and alive as you would be feeling like seating there for sometime. There are several shops outside. The whole area is surrounded by the rocky hills and ruins.

Om Namo umamaheswaraiah namah.... It's an ancient and historic Temple especially the Nandi situated here. As per Sri veera Bramham Gari kalagnanam, if Yaganti Nandi stand and move it will be sign of kaliyugam ending. For every 20 years the Nandi size will increase one inch which was Declared by Archeology Department of India. There are 2 famous pushkarinis in this Temple which was identified by Sri Aagastya mahamuni. There are 3 Famous caves named as Sri Venkateswara cave, Aagastya cave, and Belu caves. If you want to perform sparsha Darshanam to lord Uma maheswara u will take ticket cost of 75 rupees for each person. Entry ticket Rs. 10. If you want to visit this temple there are no direct bus facility. First you will reach Nandyal then you pick banagaipalle bus. Finally u want to reach Yaganti from banagaipalle choose autos is better than RTC Bus because no frequent buses. Autowala will charge Rs. 60 for a round trip between Banagaipalle to Yaganti.

The nearest town is Banaganapalli. Do visit the caves and learn about the history of the temple while you are here. It is very amusing. And the speciality here is the growing Nandi (bull) which is predicted to come to life and it is believed among the locals that when the stone turns to life, the world will end. It's the temple where Shiva is in the form of Uma Maheshwara. Do visit during Shivratri for the best experience possible.Oh and there's entry fee for the temple. It should be around 10 to 20 rupees.

I'll never travel to Bengaluru without this trip planner again
Belum Caves, located on the Indian subcontinent, offers a remarkable experience with its vast underground cave system adorned with geological formations and artificial lighting. The site boasts the largest and longest cave system open to the public in India, featuring long passages, galleries and spacious caverns that occasionally contain fresh water. Visitors are advised to bring a torch or headlamp for better visibility as sticky mud may cause footwear loss. Additionally, one should carry water bottles due to stuffiness inside causing excessive sweating.
A very well maintained cave. It has sufficient lighting and oxygen inside and has directions that are clear so that one doesn't get lost inside the cave. Has ventilation ducts at few places to keep the air circulation at a good pace. The place is very neatly maintained and no plastic waste was found inside the cave. The formation of the rocks and everything looks so good and interesting if one is willing to explore and learn more about it. A good place to play scary house with your friends of course :) Important to take water bottles before going in as one would sweat a lot and feel thirsty in their journey. All in all a good place to visit to spend some quality time.
Nitish A V — Google review
People who love adventures and rock formations, would certainly love to go to this place. Such a natural beauty. The cave is so deep, wide and long. It absolutely amazes you at every part with its deep trenches. There are places within the cave which are so narrow and the rocks are porous as the water keeps dripping through these rocks.
Please make sure to have nice footwear (sandals or gum boots) as you have grip and not hurt your feet. The whole tour would approx take 2 hours. You'll drain all your energy by the time you are back as the terrain is tough, long and, very suffocating. You end up profusely sweating. Carry some energy drinks and food to keep yourself hydrated and keep your energy levels high.
The sad part is about the maintenance by the governments. Though we have blowers and lights inside the cave, most of them are out of order and not functional which makes the journey tiring.

This is a natural cave and opened for the public in 2003.
Before going to this cave:
must carry an adequate water bottle. in the cave there is a lot of humidity so wear some light clothes and also for footwear, must have anti skid like shoes as there is some slippery clay like miss are present in the track.
there is a very small waterfall present in the cave. Must visit
Car parking charges 20/-
Adult charges: 70/- per person
It will take a minimum of 1 ½ hr to explore all the paths in the caves. There is marking of all the directions as IN or OUT.

Superb experience. The Buddha statue outside the cave is really calming. The walk inside is out of the world. Really scary in few places. Be careful with your footwear as few places the mud is really sticky and many have lost their footwear. Carry a torch or headlamp for better visibility. There are lights inside. Carry a water bottle as it gets stuffy inside and you sweat a lot.

Ancient and undiscovered place. Very magical feeling once you go more and more inside. The air vents were not working at some places. Wearing shoes is advised as the pavement is uneven. Take your own water bottle and don't leave empty bottles. Basic Telugu if you can read it'll be helpful although all the exit are written in English. l

Underground caves miles and miles long !
Amazing shapes and structures formed naturally over thousands of years by erosion, deposition, transfer of minerals by water, etc.
A must-visit place for many reasons, but one is rarity.
To make the best of your visit, be sure to take a very powerful torch because your phone LEDs are insufficient to see the details.
And wear well fitting shoes, because slippers/sandals are very dangerous for the terrain.
Carefully note or photograph every junction you pass, most have no English signs, and you can't phone for help as there is insufficient signal underground.
Not an enjoyable or safe place for naughty children or aged people though.

We traveled to Belum caves on a Saturday afternoon. The place does get a lot of tourists as it was quite busy Saturday.
The ticket is priced at ₹70 adults and ₹50 kids. They were surprisingly only accepting cash payment which is quite inconvenient, they should start card payments/UPI.
The caves are well maintained, have good air ventilation, well placed signs to follow. I wish the AP government authorities would keep dustbins inside the caves as people do carry water bottles and tend to throw them randomly. Do carry water bottles if possible it can can get quite humid and sweaty inside.
Belum caves are 3229m long and are the second largest natural caves in Indian subcontinent. Definitely recommend visiting it.
Improvement-
* Even though it’s mentioned Staircase is damaged people were still climbing on it. Please do fix the staircase as it’s not safe.
*Washrooms are are in a pitiable state! Requesting the authorities to take action and upgrade the facilities.
*Beautification of the overall place can be done too.
*Besides the caves the place was looking quite dull and make it more scenic with plants and good facilities.
* need good restaurants facilities also

Plus points : A magnificent creation of Nature worth visiting . The stalactites , stalagmites, courses and caverns were created over a period of millions of years , by an ancient flow of water through limestone and quartz . This is the second largest subterranean cave system in India .
Depth goes from 80ft to 120 ft . Air vents are provided at regular intervals . Photography is allowed .
Minus points : Being a Protected Monument under care of the State Government , more thought and sensitivity should have gone into its maintenance .
The garish colored lights are an eyesore marring the natural beauty of the rocks . The spiral stairway to get to the low point is shaky . Names of caves and Exit signs are painted directly on cave walls instead of on boards .
Fact file :
Entrance ticket : Rs70 per adult . Carpark :Rs20
Guides ( Telugu,Hindi,English) available .
Kids playground , basic toilets, a snack kiosk in premises .
Recommended : Carry water . As it gets very humid and sweaty inside, carry a hand towel too. Good walking shoes , to walk on uneven surfaces . Visit during cooler hours of the day and in dry , non-rainy season .
Reportedly, crowded on weekends .
Please do not break off stone bits to carry as souvenir . Please do not scribble/ scratch your initials on those ancient rocks . Please don’t litter . It was painful to see some tourists doing such things , during my visit.
Lets learn to respect shared heritages .

An amazing cave experience. Recommend every visitor traveling to city of Kurnool or Nandyal in State of Andhra Pradesh to take some time out and visit Belum Caves.
An advisory would be to carry Torch-light as there are zones which are very dim lit corners. A to Gaurav Buddhas statue adorns at entrance. The Caves are very well planned and our appreciation to the Team behind the concept and execution too.
The overall maintenance of Caves leaves a lot to be desired. A few zones had no AC and the places were hot and perspiring too. There were broken equipments like AC parts and broken light consoles that were lying in open and had not been moved out.

If one is travelling from Banglore towards Hydrabad after almost 100 kms towards Hydrabad, the signage takes one to this magnificent temple & Samadi Palace of SatSaiBaba Ji. For rupees 15 & rupees two one can have a full meal with tea. The temple has a huge number of volunteers to guide the new entrants. One can also book a stay within the temple premises. The Lepakshi Nandi temple features a striking granite sculpture of Nandi, the sacred bull of Lord Shiva. It's located two hours from Bangalore and is best visited during the day due to safety concerns at night. The road leading to the temple is well-maintained and free of potholes. Visitors can explore the open park-like setting beyond 6pm but should refrain from climbing on the statue.
Simply awesome...one of the largest monolithic , single stone Nandi in india....this is about 400m from the Lepakshi veerabhadra temple ...it supposedly looks straight at the 7 hooded serpent in the temple who guards the shiv ling...a must visit place just for the magnanimity of the architecture

This is a good place to visit, especially for those from Bangalore since it is hardly 2 hour journey (including traffic/rainy weather). Best way to plan is for a morning to afternoon visit and return before it gets dark. The route is not safe during nights especially when we want to drive a car at high speeds. The roads are well maintained though and we saw almost no potholes along the lepakshi road from the big arc. This bull statue is open beyond 6pm as it is an open place. It feels more like a park and many people were trying to climb it.

The temple is very beautiful. The temple is around 500 years old and is a pure ancient architectural beauty. The place is just 2 hours drive away from Bangalore. We can very well make a one day plan to this place and return by afternoon if we start by morning 8. There is a garuda statue at the entrance. But were not allowed nearby for reasons unknown even after paying them to see the place. The parking and restrooms are pricey. 10 Rs. Just to enter the toilet irrespective of what you do inside. There is enough parking space. Would have been better if the management improve the temple instead of being money minded.

The Lepakshi Nandi, a monolithic bull statue, stands as an iconic symbol of artistic finesse and cultural significance in India. Carved from a single granite rock, it resides in the town of Lepakshi in Andhra Pradesh. This massive sculpture measures about 4.5 meters in height and 8.23 meters in length, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and detailing.
Believed to represent the vehicle (vahana) of Lord Shiva, the Nandi statue is adorned with intricate carvings, displaying various mythological motifs and ornate designs. Its posture exudes a sense of grandeur and devotion, capturing the essence of Hindu mythology.
Legend has it that the statue was constructed during the Vijayanagara Empire's reign in the 16th century. Apart from its religious significance, the Lepakshi Nandi serves as a testament to the architectural brilliance of that era.
Pilgrims, history enthusiasts, and art connoisseurs flock to witness this marvel, appreciating not just its size but also the cultural heritage it embodies. The Lepakshi Nandi remains a revered and awe-inspiring testament to India's rich artistic and religious legacy.

This is well worth a trip. The temple itself is beautiful and well cared for, but there are also plenty of souvenir stalls outside. Don’t miss the biggest Nandi (bull) on the way in and the new bird perched on the hilltop. The story behind the temple is fascinating and you can see the footprint left by the goddess - or made by something else… it is beautiful and you could happily spend a couple of hours in the area.

A nice place to start your early morning, ancient history of India to look at. Start early around 5 AM from Bangalore so that you can enjoy morning breeze. Inside temple premises shoes aren't allowed. You can keep it in car itself. Close to temple Nandi and theme park is there. It will be take around 2.5hrs to 3 hrs to see everything.

Majestic !!
One of the biggest nadi statute and this one is quite different one, as we can see face is slightly upwards due to a sense of Maga Shiva linga in front of it.
This is located right next to main road which is goes towards lepakshi town/village and around 300-400 away from the main temple.
Basic amenities are present inside premises like drinking water , restrooms and small green garden and amole seating benches.
People can sit here and enjoy viewing the statue after coming from temple and near by jatayu park.

At a distance of 500 m from Lepakshi Bus Stand and 500 m from Sri Veerabhadra Temple (Lepakshi Temple), Lepakshi Nandi (Bull) is one of the main attractions in Lepakshi and a well-known landmark for the tourism of Lepakshi. It was built during Vijayanagara period when the main Veerabhadra Temple was built.
The Lepakshi Nandi is made out of single granite. The monolithic Nandi sculpture is said to be the second largest monolithic structure in India after Gomateshwara in Shravanabelagola. It is 20 feet in height and 30 feet in length. The Nandi statue is decorated with a necklace, muvvalahara, a bell chain with small horns.
It is noticeable that the head of the bull is held aloft at a higher angle than usual. In addition, the expression of submission, which is typical of Nandi before Shiva, is not seen in the statue here.
This big granite bull is situated on the main road beside AP Tourism Haritha resort. It has been positioned such that it faces the 18 ft Nagalinga in Veerabhadra Temple Complex.

This old temple is inside a village and a divine representation of Indian culture, religious values and mythological history. A beautiful place to spend a couple of hrs. The stone carved structures and pillars are admirable. The only point of resentment is the paintings on ceilings are being worn out by time which should be preserved and restored. The govt should maintain the temple and cleanliness. It's not that we get to see such valuable pieces of our history often.

Located about 2-3 hours drive from Bengaluru this temple is a beautiful place to visit .
This temple is dedicated to Lord Veerabhadra and temple architecture style is of Vijayanagara era temples. This temple has many sculptures and fresco's . Main attraction in this temple is the hanging pillar and Shiv Linga on a serpent.
Few cars can be parked near entrance of this temple and parking charge are RS 50 per car. During afternoon it will be difficult to walk in this temple as it gets very hot . Found only a hotel and restaurant of Andhra Pradesh government where families can go for food and stay. It may be difficult to reach this temple using public transport so it will be better to take a taxi to reach this temple. Non Hindus are allowed inside this temple.

The Temple is 1200 years old and has such a good architecture and design.
There is a lake also in the centre.
You can park your vehicle outside. There is not much rush and you can spend time peacefully over here.

As the name of the temple suggests, It is a temple of Lord Shiva. The temple is a captivating example of ancient Dravidian architecture, boasting intricate carvings and a serene ambiance. It's one of the oldest surviving temples in the Nolambavadi style, showcasing the rich artistic heritage of Karnataka. It's located in the town of Nandi and is very close to the Nandi Hills. Definitely a must visit place.

The temple is a cultural treasure for India 🇮🇳 home to mind blowing architecture and heritage that still stands the test of time. Despite the lack of responsible attention from the government the temple is in great shape and home to amazing aspects of Hindu heritage. It is a must visit experience and the intricacies of stone carvings can be mesmerising. If you plan a visit ensure to spend atleast 2-3 hours so that you can absorb the details. The place has ample parking and is family friendly. I have fond memories of visiting the place 10 years ago. Some of the places need immediate attention and renovation. If you visit, kindly keep the place clean and avoid littering the place.

Bhoganandeshwara Temple
Nandigrama, nestled at the foothills of Nandi on the outskirts of Bengaluru houses a majestic 9th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva called as the Boganandeshwara Devasthana. The sprawling complex boasts intricately carved pillared mantapas inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the grandeur of Dravidian architecture. This temple is a testament to the artistic finesse believed to be built during Rastrakuta dynasty rule. Among its treasures a serene stepwell known as Pushkarni/Kakyani offers a tranquil retreat, while a dedicated area for weddings adds a touch of privacy and sacredness to matrimonial celebrations. Exploring the temple grounds is akin to embarking on a journey through time, where each stone whispers tales of devotion and craftsmanship from centuries past.
Full day Itinerary from Bengaluru - Starting the day with a scenic drive to breathtaking Nandi Hills, visit Yoganandeshwara temple on the Hill top and Bhoganandeshwara temple at the foothills. Head to a nearby Vineyard and visit a flower orchard. Finally end your day with a delicious meal at a local restaurant from the surrounding area.
Other places to include in this visit can be Rangasthala temple, Muddenahalli (birth place of Sir.M. Vishweshvariah) museum, Isha - Sadhguru Sannidhi.
We had the pleasure of hosting a colleague from our office who was visiting from Germany. Her reaction to the heritage site was absolutely priceless – she was utterly captivated by its charm and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of her visit.

This is an ancient temple, very peaceful and calm. Main deity here is Shiva as Bhoga Nandeeshwara and Arunachaleshwara. Temple architecture and stone carvings throughout the temple are mesmerizing.
Place is nicely maintained and very hygienic. Lawn and little lake outside the temple is very beautiful. The Shiva statue near the lake is nice too. The temple is not crowded when I visited during the weekend and you can easily spend 1hr here. Must visit and you can plan this temple as well along with Aadiyogi.
Taking photos is not allowed inside the temple. Paid shoe stand is available. Plenty of parking available around the temple for both 2 & 4 wheelers.

Amazing place to visit. You can see three dynasties of architecture. There is so much to see, including signs of how it became a place to stay. It’s a good sized complex with more than one dancing area, although some of the floor stones had been removed from the older part. Do look up to see the frescoes dating from the 16th century, and don’t miss the 16th century parade cart outside, carved to look like the temple itself. This place is well worth a trip.

It is a very old temple and the structure is good. Must visit for temple architecture people interest. Very calm and no crowd at all. A very old peepal tree, also called Ficus religiosa in entrance. A big garden also if you want to spend some time with family and kids. Parking is not free so be careful. Park road side has a lot of empty land nearby if you want to save some money.
Happy journey.. keep reading and helping each other!!!

Coffee, tea, ice cream, live counters for dosa, pasta pav bhaji, to suit appetite of a wide cross section of people. Aust visit for all the people waiting for their flight at Bangalore airport.

Nice lounge.. they also serve liquor which is chargeable. Food options are available. They also have live counter for dosa and parantha which is a nice add on. Their tea collection is really very nice. I loved their Kahwa dip tea which i haven't seen anywhere else till date.
They also serve filter coffee which is very authentic in taste. Washrooms are also inside the premises. It's good for a stopover and get some snacks and drinks. Staff is nice too.

Place was too much crowded, no seat. It took us a while to find seats.
Overall okayish

One of the best lounge across India.
Variety of food and ambience are too good.
Only thing i dislike about this lounge is, they allow us inside only before 3 hours from departure time.

They take the efforts to decorate the premise as per festival season prevailing. Great ambience and ease of access, unlike other lounge situated at Kempagowda International Airport. The variety of cuisine available is also adequate. The staff is courteous and respectful. The area is neat and tidy. Definite pit stop if you have enough time in your hand before your flight.

By far and based on my entire experiences with domestic lounges in India...this is the best one across the country...in terms of space and food...in stark contrast to the lounge next door, this one serves some of the best food and equivalent to an ITC buffet...must vistbfor everyone even if it means paying the 750 bucks

Soaring mountain peak known for its temples, sacred sculptures & sweeping views.
Moderate to difficult trek. You might feel exhausted during the trek. But you will experience its worthiness when you reach the peak. Morning 6 to 10 is the best time to trek and see some foggy views. (Visited in july)
Trek time: 1:15 hr
Best time to visit: 6AM to 10AM
Please don’t throw plastic. Use dustbins.

It's a Religious place more than trekking.
Trekking length and difficulty is good but crowded.
Avoid going there in January for trekking because of crowd.
View is great from the top.
There are 4-5 temple in trek.
Very high Religious significance of that place arround locals.

One of the best Trekking spot for mid-level trekkers. Never forget to take a stick with you to keep away monkeys.
Final peak trek is a bit difficult because of steep and very narrow steps. If you have any back bag or food item then, beware of moneks they ll come anytime to pickup.
There are shops to have snacks and buy drinking water.
Binny gan — Google review
Suitable trekking spot for beginners, one can easily get to the peak around 60 minutes. Be careful about the monkeys around, it’ll always try to snatch your backpack looking for food. If possible, try not to carry any backpacks, as it is food stalls are available at various check points through the ascend.
Mohan Kumar — Google review
Nice hill, with intermediate stops in between. The uphill time is 3 hours and the downhill time is 1.5 hours approx. There are enough refreshment shops available till the mid-hill, and one shop at the top. But the trekking is strenuous during summer, unless started very early in the morning. There are good village type hotels at the entrance.

Overall: Fantastic and very much exciting trek.
Difficulty:Between High to Very High. Not recommend for kids, senior citizens and people with knee problems. Wear trek pants or half pant(recommend for trek) so that your knees are well supported.
A proper trek shoe is must along with other accessories such as sun glasses and hat. You can’t manage an umbrella there as you have to climb by holding the railings. Be careful of monkeys and they are the most smartest creature you will find there. They put hand inside your pocket and take out the mobile, wallet, etc. Even they open the backpack zips to check.
Each one would need 2 to 3 ltrs of water. Not to worry as you have plenty local shops up to the top who supplies all needed item to hydrate your self.It is advisable to carry one bottle of water always. If you are starting early, you wouldn’t find many shops open, so have back up plan.
Start time-I recommend you start climbing early by 6-7AM. You should be back by 11AM. Wear you shoes while you start entering the temple as the steps starts from there and you have to take a diversion after climbing 100 steps. It is allowed up to go to the point and take left from there. Else again you have to come down to take the shoes.

Awesome trekking place near bangalore, the climb across different levels of the hill is exciting and the surrounding scenery is breath taking. The trail is straightforward and well marked with proper steps. The last stretch climb is a little steep but rails are in place and its not too difficult.
Parking near the temple can be a hassle as the day progresses but there is ample parking space nearby where you can park and walk back. Vendors with food stall are available along the trek route as the day progresses but not if you start very early in the morning, but atleast on the way back you will have something to drink or munch on. At the very top, monkeys are a menace, dont leave anything out or in their eyesight or it will disappear. I saw 2 folks lose their bags as the monkeys carried them away.
Overall its a good and enjoyable trek that can be enjoyed by all age groups. Would suggest to avoid during summers as it can get really hot, ideal time would be after monsoons when the landscape is lush green.

I was lucky to be submerged in fog even at 12 PM. Such a lovely place. There's a stretch where the stairs are too steep and be careful around the monkeys if you've any eatables or bag.
P.S. Please don't litter, use dustbins

This was my first trekking experience ,the first half of the track was easy but the second half was bit challenging for me.
If you are nature lover and also love to do something challenging then this place is for you .
I would advise please don't carry any food items or bags with you because there are lots of monkeys who can snatch your food or throw away your bags.

Fantastic place to visit and spend some good time. Trekking is not that hard. Try to reach the place as early as possible to experience awesome views on top of the hill. And please maintain cleanliness. 🙏🏾 I saw there is so much garbage thrown here & there which literally killed beauty of this place.
Note: Beware of monkey’s. :)

Complete the trek challenging yourself. Do not litter. Trek level is moderate.
Start as early as possible to avoid burning sun.
Park vehicles in reserved parking to avoid blocking roads or getting damaged to your vehicles.
Ample parking space is available and it leads to temple entrance.

Excellent trek just outside Bangalore. Awesome view during monsoons...though it was very breezy ..but thoroughly enjoyed the solo trek...thankfully it didn't rain that time.
Monkeys were in abundance and few of the supporting rails are broken so be aware of monkeys snatching any items resembling food...n be careful esp after mid point as slope gets steeper.
SK (The Seeker) — Google review
Moderate Trek, Good grip shoes are a must.
Carry a selfie stick or a regular stick to save yourself from monkeys.
They always try to snatch your bags.
If you are lucky you can have annaprasadam at temple.

Best place for one day trekking from Bangalore... It will take upto 2 - 2½ hrs to claim the mountain... 1 hr for comeback
Only when you have 20% to go to the top of the hill will you feel a little strained
You can enjoy it if you are going with frds...
Warning :
1. water bottle is mandatory.. else there you can buy a little huge amount
2. Be careful from monkeys... Don't show there that you are a pet lover... Some of them lost their mobile phone or bag backs... Don't keep anything in your shirt pocket

Heres my complete experience today on a saturday hope it helps to guide. It was a wonderful trek worth it the top view, took around 2 hours to climb and much faster while descending back down 1hr 45 around. Try to start the trek accordingly so you finish it and are back down by 5pm before dark and atleast enjoy good 20mins on the peak. The trek is quite simple easy, could see many grandmas reaching the very top you just need to have the zealth to reach the top and om namashivaya, you'll reach there. Only one part will slow you down the steep ascend with small steps just watch out not to slip. Good thing there are rails for support through out the trek making it better and safer. On the note monkeys here are clever but not mad attackers they're fearless and will try to snatch covers away from you even climb on you to inspect your bags for food so yeah don't be scared and never be dumb to hit them try to tackle. Stick with a group or best carry a water bottle and ditch the bags you'll find snack shops throughout the trek (prices are slightly higher). The top of the very mountain has a superb view, 2 temples and two stambas one big nandi. Some have a belief if you through a coin and it lands right on top of the stamba your wish may come TRUE check out the video. There is a spot on peak behind temple that is much more peaceful most people miss it out check out the pic and video. Spend quality time on top enjoy and be back before dark I just laid down on the top. I find the trek is worth the top view and the journey to the peak itself.
Decide and becareful cautious on whether or not to trek on rainy days dunno hows its on rainy days safe or not to trek. It's not challenging like savanadurga you can make it but always look into your current situation you may win a battle if not be back strong to win it again. It's easy trek only bro don't worry. Check them pics and videos out. If your planning to visit just go it's nice.

A great place for 1 day hike. Has stairs all the way. Includes continuous climbing but has railings which help. The last stretch is quite testing and not for the fainthearted. Best would be to leave early and start climbing before 9am so that you can spend ample time at the top and return back before the sun gets too hot.
