My best beach experience...it was so serene and beautiful. Not too commercial. It was a real vacation with no disturbance.Crowd was decent enough.
One of the cleanest beaches in South Goa.
There are some good places to eat at the main Street that takes you to the beach, fewer hotels or shaks on the actual beach though.
The place has been less crowded since covid, but the people have still maintained the beach.
I would recommend to visit the beach at evening. The only thing may put your mood off is the constant poking to visit the butterfly beach.
Beautiful, serene and clean beach. Resorts on the beach line are pretty good. You can do kayaking at reasonable price. You can also go for boat rides to butterfly beach , dolphin site seeing and birdwatching at backwaters.

This beach is fascinating! The views are spectacular and the sunset is magnificent. A must visit for anyone in south Goa. The waters are nice and not too rough to swim. Coupled with the fact that this beach is away from the mainland makes it very serene without all the peddlers on other beaches. Good selection of bars and restaurants on the beach to enjoy a good night. Not too crowded, one can chill, and have a beer, and enjoy the evenings. Several cafes and bars available by the beach too.
Car parking available near the beach entrance, and lots of beach stay options available around the entire beach periphery. At the end of the beach line, you can find rocks where one can hike to the other end and even find better and cheaper rooms and stays. If you are in South Goa, this place is definitely a must.

It’s huge and lots of good places to eat nearby. The beach is clean and you can go for boating, during monsoon all the water activities were closed. But you can still enjoy a walk on the soft sand.
Jeni Shivaji — Google review
Very cool and calm beach. Safe because of no immediate depth in sea water and also waves are not tidy. As most visitors prefer north Goa, crowd always be less. But rates for accommodation, food and services are little bit costly compared to North Goa.
Parashuram Karatagi — Google review
Such a pretty beach! It's a combination of blue, green and golden that makes this beach so pretty. The hills on the sides and the golden sand make this beach my favourite photography spot. During a low tide, usually in the evening we can walk across to the mangrove side and nearer to the reefs. I really enjoyed my stay here because this place has some good shacks, shopping experience and less crowds compared to central Goa. The beach also extends into the mangrove by the river making it a great spot for boating and bird watching. The nearby beaches are also lovely. Visit Cola, Agonda and Majorda beaches as well while you are there.

There are mountains on side of beach which make this place a perfect place to see sunset…. Very beautiful, calm and peaceful place…. Many shacks are available with lots of food and drinks option…. Nearby market is there with lots of souvenir options as well…. Parking 🅿️ is also available near to beach

We visited this beach in Goa for the first time and loved it the most. It is less crowded compared to north Goa beaches.
There is changing rooms and shower option near beach. Good shacks and many water sports available. We did kayaking and boat visit to butterfly beach and honeymoon beach and it was a good experience. As part of boat service, they will just show butterfly beach sitting in the boat and let you get down in honeymoon beach. Both beaches are just casual small beaches, speciality is the boat ride experience.

This beach is one of the best beaches of South Goa. It has beautiful views from both left to right. On the left stands the hills and on the right side the sea water enters the land by creating a mangrove backwater in which boating is being done. The beach is clean on the left side but on the right side few narrow canals flow down and mix with the sea so it's a bit dirty. A large number of boats are present on the beach which are used for fishing during morning. Few shacks are present but not on the beach they are located just outside the beach as the water during high tide reaches the walls.

Very clean and flat Beach..... It is very good for families to enjoy the beach ..... Kids can play without any fear ..... for shopping a lot of options are there near the beach ...... only one problem is parking...... Very small roads ......
bangaru nayak — Google review
It seems like an international beach. It is a must to visit the beach.
None of the North Goa beaches or even South Goa beaches stand anywhere. This beach has a very different vibe.
One can do Kayaking here. This is a flat and very clean beach.
Pulkit Bhatnagar — Google review
It's one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. This beach is surrounded by mountains. It has very clean water and is the perfect place for swimming. Kids can enjoy it here and it's safe for kids. You must go on a boat ride from here. Also you can try kayaking here. Do not miss sunset at this beach.
Monika Suryawanshi — Google review
Very pretty though a really small beach. The color of the sea water is mesmerising at times. The downside is that the beach is way too crowded for its size and not even one decent shack (cleanliness, wi fi, air conditioning, food, cocktails are all a hit or a miss affair) to stay in. The music gets too loud in the evenings. And on weekends you have to avoid bumping into others while walking on the beach.
Anish Singh — Google review
Amazing and serene beach in South Goa. The vibes here are so relaxing and soothing that you'll forget all your worries. Do not miss the sunset if you're visiting Palolem Beach as it has one of the best sunset views. ❤️
There's plenty of parking space available and the market near beach is energetic and lively.

This is most definitely my favourite place, the beach is clean and very beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the beach to choose from, quiet and chilled. Lots of kayaking very fun to watch as well as having a go yourself. Great for morning walks and sunset cocktails 🍹

Definitely I wanted this...I wanted a perfect Beach Holiday, free from all troubles... amidst Nature and solitude... amidst friends and families. South Goa gave me that chance....but still something was missing. Then I found You PALOLEM🩵😍...and immediately my vacation become perfect🥺 my search for That something become complete.
You, PALOLEM🩵, is not just a beach...you are a complete lifestyle.... carefully carefree... scenic yet modern, solitary yet always available, natural 🥀🍀yet very much worldly, you are Beauty Incarnate. And what a beauty you offer...long stretches of golden yellow sand, even ebb and flow of the Arabian Sea, all round greenery, long line of coconut trees and a blissful perfect solitude...just amazing. You can easily compete with any foreign beaches... probably that's why foreigners are more than the Indians.

It’s a good beach and one of the main attractions in south Goa, it’s almost 2 hrs normal drive from Panjim with beautiful landscape in between.
But people need to be careful and should maintain cleanliness
It’s directly connected to road and have enough parking space ( given moderate crowd).
You’ll also get to see lot many general stores and restaurants beside beach, so you can have anything or can purchase things required and have decent hotels nearby.
Abhay Ptatap Singh Rathore — Google review
The beach is spread quite big. So, it feels less crowded. There are atleast 50 beach shacks. It is a clean beach. You get all adventure sports like parasailing, kayaking, speed boating etc. The water is shallow for almost 100 mtrs from beach. So, many kids are left unattended. Waves are at right force. Very good place to spend time with family or friends
Sai Prabhakar Varanasi — Google review
Very clean and peaceful beach of South Goa. The water level is not too deep. Perfect for swimming for all age groups.
Lots of restaurants, beach cottages and shopping options available on and near the beach. It's definitely safe to spend some time from evening till mid-night with friends and family

It's a most popular, nice, clean, sea beach in South Goa. Sunset view is wonderful. This place is not too much crowded.
Several hotels with restaurants are there at Beachside area. You can spend good time here with good food, drinks and music. Nightlife is amazing.
You can get boat for Butterfly Beach from here. You can do Kayaking also. Parking facility is there at outside.

I went there recently. I have been on several beaches but Palolem is more close to my heart. It's one of the best beaches in Goa.
It's calm and less crowded....sea water is clear and waves are also okay. As compared to north goa Beaches like baga and candolen...it is very calm and peace place...
Other beautiful nearby by Beachs are also there like turtle beach, butterfly beach etc

Must visit for sunset boat ride and kayaking. Lots of shacks are present to spend cozy evening.
One of the happening beach of south goa
Samiran Mondal — Google review
Beautiful beach in the south of Goa with majestic sea view. Honeymoon Beach and Butterfly Beach is accessible from here on boat with seat sharing basis. The shacks serve amazing local and seafood cuisines.
Bijoy Choudhury — Google review
I’m sure this was a a stunning beach , still is in some ways, but so many crammed in British tourist restaurants it has a very Brits abroad element to it especially at the south end. We were expecting from the photos and reviews for this to be our favourite place in the area but we preferred almost all the other beaches to this one.
Definitely walk to the north end for a beautiful sunset view and a little less commercial looking restaurants and bars,
Jet_Set_Gypsea — Google review
Beach is amazing and peaceful (excluding weekends).
Public toilet is good and tales UPI also.
However, after 9.30pm, guy stops taking UPI and only cash.

Palolem Beach, located in the serene coastal paradise of Goa, is a gem that leaves an indelible mark on every visitor. Here’s a glimpse into this idyllic beach:
Turquoise Waters and Champagne Sand:
Palolem boasts a two-mile stretch of powdery, pinkish-hued white sand. The azure waters are so clear that they seem to merge seamlessly with the sky.
As you step onto the beach, the vibrant colors envelop you, creating a surreal paradise.
Swimming and Strolling:
Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or a leisurely beachcomber, Palolem caters to all. The gentle waves invite you to take a refreshing dip.
Beach walking here is a delight. The soft sand massages your feet as you explore the shoreline.
The “Heart” of Palolem:
The central area, affectionately known as the “heart” of Palolem, is where visitors typically park and access the beach.
Here, you’ll find a cluster of restaurants, bars, and hotels lining the shore. It’s the perfect spot to savor local cuisine or sip cocktails by the water.
Tropical Sunset Oasis:
At the quieter end of Palolem lies Tropical Sunset Restaurant and Bar. This hidden gem offers tranquility away from the bustling crowd.
Their pina coladas, made from scratch, are a must-try. Pair them with fresh seafood treats for a delightful beachside lunch.
Water Sports and Exploration:
Palolem isn’t just about sunbathing. It’s a hub for water sports like snorkeling, kayaking, and diving.
As you explore, keep an eye out for the massive locust tree, locally known as ‘stinking toes’ due to its pungent scent when cracked open.
The Bend and Beyond:
Near “the bend”, Palolem’s beauty reaches its peak. The view of the turquoise expanse against the pink sand is simply breathtaking.
Take a leisurely stroll along the entire beach, from west to east, and let the natural splendor unfold before you.
In summary, Palolem is more than a beach—it’s an experience. Whether you’re sipping cocktails at Tropical Sunset or snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, this top-ranked Goa beach will leave you enchanted. 🌴🌊🌞

One of the most popular beach in South Goa which is very scenic and calm.
It is close to the honeymoon beach and butterfly beach for which one can hire kayak from here.
Palolem has plenty options for food and many shacks are there along shoreline.
Highly recommend this cooking class!
What an absolutely beautiful experience!
My partner and I were looking for a cooking class that would expand our knowledge and cater for what meals we wanted to learn.
We learnt and cooked them, as well as more delicious dishes!
Our master chef knew her stuff, food and well being is her jam.
We looked at other cooking classes to go with and asked around, but this one felt right. Such lovely people with lovely energy.
Thank you so much for everything you do!
We will be back to cook with you next time we are in India.
❤️

Manju and Ashish have the best cooking class!!! They are so friendly and funny, we had so much fun! They enriched us with a lot of knowledge about cooking techniques, using spices, and tips for a healthy ayruvedic way of life! We prepared many amazing different meals and the best malai cofta I ever ate!!! The place is very clean and the class was intimate and we managed to prepare all the 9 dishes by our selves with the close guidance of Manju and Ashish. Thank you so much!
Noa Shkiller — Google review
I spend Yesterday evening on the cooking class, and it was such a good experience. I learned a lot about spices and how to cook a good Indian meal. I also learned about the Ayurvedic way of eating, which was very interesting. Manju and Ashish are both very warm, welcoming and funny people and I really had a good time staying at their place and joining the cooking class
Helle Ladekjær — Google review
Manju and Ashish were very welcoming from the moment I first called to inquire and all the way through.
We first had a talk about the contents of the class and adjusted it to my preferences, later on we cooked together 7 dishes from the Indian cuisine.
We also had a very tasty and refreshing tea break in the middle.
Lastly we had dinner based on the dishes we cooked together!
All ingredients were clean and fresh, and we prepared everything straight from basic. Manju was very informative yet a very casual and pleasant teacher.
The dishes we made together comprehend a full meal making the class ideal in my opinion.
As a bonus, upon the end of the class I received a PDF containing the receipts of what we made making the learning process easier (I also took some photos).
Finally, they are truly nice, the feeling is authentic and the couple treats the students as friends and not as tourists. I had a great time!
Thanks Ashish and Manju!
Dror Hadas — Google review
The cooking class of Manju was amazing. She's a very good teacher and knows exactly how to cook healthy and very tasty food. Before I took the class I didn't know much about ayurvedic cooking, but Manju is very good in explaining. I just love her food and I like the two of them so much that I booked one more day of cooking. So everybody who wants to learn how to cook the best Indian food with natural ingredients, should definitely book thin class.
Kyra Heeg — Google review
Manju and Ashish are two really lovely people who put all their passion in their work and made us feel very welcome in their home. We learned 9 vegan dishes in the cooking class and had a really tasty lunch afterwards. All the ingredients are fresh and organic and you can even buy their home grown dried herbs and spices at their place. The cooking class is designed to cook easy and fast dishes that can also easily be cooked at home - we love this concept! As there were no other people than us two, we cooked in their personal kitchen and therefore experienced the traditional Indian lifestyle even more. Thank you!
Annika Bader — Google review
Highly recommend this experience. I always wanted to learn how to prepare Indian meals, especially Dal Fry and some gravies. Here they will give you to choose what you want to learn, which is great. Since I am a solo traveler, I had a very private class, just me and the lovely, inspirational couple, who run this school. They are growing and preparing all the spices home and cook the meals whit so much love and passion. If you are in South Goa, go for this, you won’t regret.
Marie Jirat — Google review
Such a nice couple. Both Ashish & Manju were both welcoming and made the Indian cooking class both fun & easy to learn. We picked up lots of tips to help up when cooking our own Indian meals. I can’t wait to start practicing my new skills when I get home.
Claire Shury — Google review
I did the cooking class where we prepared a range of beautiful vegan Ayurvedic meals - curries, sauces and breads - and all were delicious. Best of all, Ashish and Manju made sure to teach us recipes that were simple to recreate and which used ingredients easily available at home. The class was a good pace and the food was so tasty. Recommend :) thanks!
Alex Ashton — Google review
Amazing cooking class! We did the skype cooking class with Manju & Ashish! It was amazing, we learnt some very nice recipes, the food was delicious! They sent us a shopping list in advance, and told us to prepare a couple of things, and then the class started and we went over it step by step until we had amazing food! A year ago I also went to Manju & Ashish for a 'real-life' cooking class, which was also amazing!

Domed temple with a 7-story tower dedicated to Manguesh, an incarnation of the god Shiva.
One of the best template to visit in south Goa.
This Temples architecture, color combination, spirituality is one of the amazing things to experience.
Parking is available in near by area. Short clothes are not allowed inside temple, but they gave cloth to cover, so not to worry.
But traditional clothes are recommended, you will get very beautiful, scenic photo in traditional attire.
Dont forgot to take blessings.

It’s a Beautiful Temple Complex surrounded by greenery all around. The Deity worshipped here is Lord Shiva
If you are around Goa, this can be one of the places on your list.
The pathway leading to the temple complex is a line up of stores selling different things like clothes, cashews, home decor, gift items at reasonable prices.
There is also dedicated parking space for 4 wheelers near the temple complex.

A beautiful Mangesh Temple, visited and worshipped in big numbers.
The temple was illuminated in colourful lights and a live programme of devotional music by a young boy and a young girl was on. They appear to be well trained in classical music and made the devotees listen to their songs in utter silence.

Very quiet and calm experience! Great design of the temple architecture, and a must visit for everyone in Goa! You can get some nice pictures taken here.

Beautiful temple which is said to be the ancestral temple of Lata Mangeshkar. Situated in a beautiful location and maintained beautifully. The main temple has a dresscode and one can’t enter wearing short dresses. But one should not worry as they provide dhoti which can be wrapped around before entering the main temple. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. The road to reach the temple is lined with shops.

This is such a beautiful temple of Shiva in Goa. Once you enter the main temple complex you definitely feel good vibes and Shiva’s blessings. We visited on a wednesday and hence did not face amy rush and had great darshan.
Yoh have to walk around 300-400 meters from the parking area to reach the temple complex. Also, there is a nice market on the entire way to temple from parking having shops like clothing, souvenirs, fruit shops, etc. I would highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Goa.

A serene and tranquil place with a feeling of calmness.......
A bit less spiritual due to crowds and the couples out on a picnic......
Yet one can feel the undercurrent of energy pervading the atmosphere if one is a little bit receptive.......
Rajesh Mohan — Google review
The Shri Mangeshi Temple of Lord Mangesh, nestled in Mardol, Goa, is a timeless testament to faith, resilience, and cultural amalgamation. Steeped in history, the temple's journey from its original location to its present abode at Priol reflects the devotion of its followers amidst the tumultuous times of the Portuguese Inquisition.
The temple's architecture, a harmonious blend of Hindu, Christian, and Muslim influences, is a sight to behold. Its towering dome adorned with a golden kalash stands as a beacon of spiritual sanctity amidst lush surroundings.
Legend intertwines with the temple's identity, with the story of Lord Shiva's playful prank on Parvati giving rise to the name 'Manguesh'. This tale, rooted in the depths of time, adds a mystical aura to the sacred precincts of the temple.
Yearly festivities, notably the annual Jatra held in January, transform the temple into a vibrant hub of religious fervor. Thousands of devotees throng to witness the grand procession of the deity, carried out amidst resplendent lights and the rhythmic beats of traditional music.
The Shri Mangeshi Temple transcends mere architectural marvel; it is a living embodiment of faith, tradition, and cultural synthesis. A visit to this revered sanctuary is not just a journey through history, but a spiritual odyssey that leaves an indelible imprint on the soul.
Om Kakodkar — Google review
A prominent temple and a popular tourist destination located in Mardol, Goa.
The temple seems to be beautiful from the outside as well as in the inside.
A lot of devotees as well as tourists visit it every day.
Impressed with the fact that there is no demand for donation at this temple.

I visited Shree Mangesh temple with my family during our trip to Goa. It is a beautiful and serene temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshipped here as Lord Mangesh. The temple complex is well-maintained and has a spacious courtyard, a water tank, and a seven-storeyed lamp tower. The main shrine has a silver-plated entrance and a golden dome.
The temple also has other deities such as Ganesha, Parvati, and Nandi. The temple is one of the oldest and most revered temples in Goa, and has a rich history and culture.
The temple is open from 6 am to 10 pm, and there are regular aartis and pujas throughout the day. The temple also hosts various festivals and events, such as Maha Shivaratri, Magha Purnima, and Jatra.
I had a wonderful and peaceful experience at Shree Mangesh temple. It is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to experience the spiritual and cultural heritage of Goa. I would highly recommend this temple to anyone who is looking for a divine and tranquil place to visit.

It was a surprisingly interesting place. I never knew I would enjoy knowing about the spices and its origin. It feels like being on a school trip where we are divided into groups and sent on a experience where we get to see, touch, smell and feel spices.
Pros-
1. It's feels like being on a new world where everything is so green and clean. Definitely the air feels fresher.
2. They charge 500 per person and provide a tour guide, a welcome drink, warm welcome, and unlimited lunch.
3. Our tour guide was the sweetest person, he was really funny and very informative. Our whole exploring journey was even more fun because of him.
4. They showed us many herbs and spices.
5. They sell those herbs at a very reasonable price at their own shop.
Cons-
1. Wear nice light weight breezy cloths because it's always tiring and hot as you have to walk alot.

I visited this plantation with my parents and it was such a highlight of our Goa trip! My parents love nature (as do I) and they have a big interest in growing their own plants. This was perfect for them to know more about how spices are grown, what each plant looks, feels, and smells like, and some other niche information. Our guide Dinanath was brilliant, our group was very enthusiastic about plants and sometimes got distracted, but he was super patient and great at answering our questions! Thank you to him for being so nice.
We left with some spices of our own, I got some fresh coffee (they grow their own!!) and honestly so happy we went. The thali at the end was good too (we had veg options), it's good knowing they used the spices that they grow to make the food as well as serving in the leaf plates.
Super peaceful and cool place, definitely recommend to make it a part of your Goa experience.

The awesome day spent here and we get to know about spices and plantations methods newly and it’s very interesting, the guide who conducted the session was very clear and grate they are good in english. And also they are selling spices and pure extraction oils here. And they include the buffet in the package. And finally we enjoyed the nature.

This is a very good place if you like to be in the lap of nature. The spice plantation is spread amid greenery.
They have a tour for 30 -45 minutes, where they explain us about the various spices grown in the plantation. It is a good educational tour.
Also, the tour includes a healthy lunch which is sumptuous. Overall it was a wonderful and unique experience at this place. We enjoyed our visit to Tropical Spice Plantation.

If you enjoy nature, a visit to the Tropical Spice Plantation (500 rupees) will be the highlight of your trip!
Located in Keri Village, six kilometers from Ponda, Tropical Spice Plantation is one of the most beautiful and least polluted areas in Goa. For nature lovers, especially birding enthusiasts, the plantation is home to over 75 species of resident and migratory birds.
Upon arrival, visitors are showered with flowers and provided some lemongrass tea to drink while you wait until the next 30 minute guided tour starts. On the tour, you'll learn about the plantation and what it is all about. The guided walk through the spice ‘forest’ will bring you to the world of spices and their medicinal values.
Everyone knows about spices such as black pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, chillies, coriander and more. But here, visitors get to see these spices in their plant form. Did you know that there is one particular spice plant that produces a spice that has the aroma and taste of five spices? That’s the All Spice plant for you!
During the tour, you will see coconut trees that are more than hundred years old, tropical trees like cashew, betel nut, palm trees, star fruit, jackfruit, bananas, papayas, pineapple, a great variety of citrus fruits and more.
After the incredibly informative guided tour, you are then led to an open-air restaurant and served the best of Goan cuisine!

Set by the shores of Arekerem Lake near Ponda, Goa, this is a wonderful experience.. Surrounded by lush, forested hills is a 100 acre spice plantation. The staff were warm and friendly. Our guide Karishma took us on a walkaround at a suitable pace for even the older members of our group. She answered all our questions, was humorous and looked after us until the point we left. Oh, incuded in the price was a lovely Goan lunch including chapati, rice, veggies, fish, chicken, kokum juice, and a sweet. Definitely worth a visit.

The place should be in the list if you are planning to visit Goa. This place has so much to learn and understand how much our spices and plantation enrich our culture and heritage that we are known across worldwide. From creating cashew fenni to all varieties of spices that's grown over here is commendable. They also provide lunch and tours together which costs ₹800/person. Overall it's one of the best places to experience and explore when in goa.
Aakash Maji — Google review
Avoid this place. 550 rupees for the HORRIBLE food they give. Looks like the Tours-and-Travel groups have a commission deal and also it's far away from where you usually stay so it helps them make you think that you have a full day of activity. Look at the pics and decide for yourself. Biryani looks like Poha. The reviews seem to be paid ones. Because this is not even close to 1* in quality and hygiene.

Note: don’t touch the stray cats there or approach them, they can bite you and you will need to get vaccinated for rabies.
Other than that (which was my fault), the place is quaint and really beautiful. Got to learn a lot about spices. Even during peak day time it’s pleasant due to shade from the trees. The food is good as well. For the cost, it’s a steal and you can buy fresh spices afterwards.

Sahakari Spice Farm is a vast 130-acre plantation that cultivates an array of spices, herbs and trees. The farm is home to resident elephants and features a basic restaurant, making it an ideal destination for families seeking an enriching experience. However, those visiting Goa solely for beaches and alcohol may opt to skip this attraction as it may not be of interest.
Nice and affordable place. They also give unlimited lunch Nov-veg with chicken and fish and you can enjoy the spice garden view and click amazing photos in the greens. You get to taste the home grown food and veggies.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sahakari Spice Farm, and it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a shower of vibrant flowers, setting the tone for a memorable day ahead. The warm welcome drinks were a refreshing way to begin our journey into the world of spices.
One of the highlights was the buffet, offering an array of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food, served in earthen pots with wooden coconut shell ladles, not only tasted delicious but also added to the authentic atmosphere of the farm.
The guided tour through the spice trees was both educational and captivating. Learning about various spices and their cultivation was fascinating, and our knowledgeable guide made the experience engaging and informative.
To top it off, the relaxation session with citronella and lavender water was a true treat for the senses. It provided a serene conclusion to our visit, leaving us feeling rejuvenated and connected with nature.
At just 500 rupees per person, the entry fee felt like a great value for the wealth of experiences offered at Sahakari Spice Farm. The food was extremely bad, but the guardian explained all the details about the spice tree. Good atmosphere, but I think it was costly per person 500 rupees, and the food was not good and the visit in a small area for about only 15 to 30 minutes. So my mind says it was costly because the food was not good.

During my recent visit to Goa, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that left me utterly enchanted - Sahakari Spice Farm. Nestled amidst the lush greenery, this private farm offers an unforgettable experience that tantalizes all your senses.
As I stepped foot into the farm, I was greeted with a shower of flowers, setting the tone for an immersive journey ahead. The entry fee of Rs500 seemed like a small price to pay for the treasure trove of experiences that awaited me. What's more, it also included a delightful spread of traditional Goan delicacies, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, ensuring that my appetite was well taken care of.
The guided tour through the farm was nothing short of enlightening. From a plethora of spices to cocoa plants, every corner of the farm seemed to tell a story of its own. Despite the vast expanse, the knowledgeable guides made sure to cover the highlights, offering insights into the cultivation and significance of each plant.

The beach is nice and long with gentle waves. As good or in some ways better than most Goa beaches. Unfortunately, it lacks maintenance. Key points:-
1)You can experience boating here.
2)Parking facilities for two wheeler available inside.
3) Some good cafes ,chats centers and resorts are available
4) visit Warship museum near beach
5) Toilet facilities are available
The INS Chapal Warship Museum (K94) is a beachside history museum housed in an old warship that showcases the Indian Navy's past. The displays include a video and exhibits, including missiles used during wars in the 1970s. The well-maintained museum features the officers' suits, workstations with old monitors and machines, and their living quarters. Visitors interested in history can learn about the ship's stories on display on its sides.
Very good place to spend some time exploring our rich history.. can have a real time look into full warship which was once protecting out nation. Entry charge is 15 for adults and 10 for children. Sad to see its not maintained well, movie room was not available no guidance or details mentioned in each section.

It's just next to the highway, but in dilapidated condition. There are layers of paint dropping, severe corrosion, everything tied with ropes. Looks like there is no active maintenance. The ship itself has a great history and gives a chance to see what life on a warship is like. Worth the visit but take care and be safe. Only cash accepted for tickets.
Sourabh Parsekar — Google review
We visited this warship museum recently. It's informative and nice way to learn about the 1971 war and Navy's role in the decisive victory. Views of the Arabian sea from the ship deck are amazing. The ship premises are generally well maintained but pandemic seems to have affected the housekeeping a bit. The place closes at 1pm which is a bit disappointing. The ship deck would make for a nice sunset view point of it remained open at evening. Overall a pleasant experience.
Karthik Jois — Google review
Place was good even though the maintenance could be improved. The warship had several places where it was rusted and posed a danger to the kids and the old. If there was a little bit more explanation as to the chambers and the engines it would help kids and elders to understand a bit more about the functioning.

Great place to visit to look back into the great contributions of the Indian Navy. Gives a great proud feeling of pur Indian Navy. Didn't go inside, but I felt the vibes of Indian Navy. Near to the beach. Great experience. Next time, I will go inside and write a review about it.

Visited last week on a sunny day to karwar. We had a very wonderful experience at this museum. Seeing the warship from really close is a great experience. Karwar is a hidden gem of India in terms of tourism and it's mesmerizing beautiful and clean beaches. Especially the tagore beach,om beach and tilmati beach.
And what makes karwar stand tall among all coastal cities is the India's largest navy base under construction known as project Seabird (INS Kadamba).
It is also famous for its seafood which is available throughout the year.
What makes the city top attraction is it's beautiful beaches and proximity to goa and other coastal cities. It is easily accessible from all parts of Karnataka. It has bus route connection from all cities and the road connecting to the city is good.

A great spot to get the inside view of warship. Entrance fees was 15rs. The place was not crowded in the morning. Located very close to Rabindranath Tagore beach. This along with the beach will be a good couple of hours visit. Will get the best beach view from top of the ship.
MIDHUN T P — Google review
The ship war museum, although not impeccably maintained possibly due to limited funds, is worth a visit, especially if you're traveling with family and children. Situated conveniently next to the coastal highway passing through Karwar, it provides insights into the history and details related to the navy. Karwar itself holds significance as one of India's prominent naval bases. While the actual warship is on display, its upkeep could be improved. Offering an official guided tour for tourist groups would enhance the experience. The entrance fee is a mere Rs 15. I appreciated the staff's gesture; despite a power outage during the day making the interiors dark, they warmly welcomed visitors back in the evening when power was restored.

I love visiting historical places, actually this is not a historical place but a place with great history,it was the warship used in wars in 1970s,it was well maintained.
Everything is been maintained properly here, starting from the entrance to the exit, even the suits used by the officers, their rooms with separate old monitors and machines work stations , everything was maintained properly.
If you're a history lover you must vist here, the stories about the warship were displayed on the sides ,you can go through it,
There was also missiles which was used in the wars,
Overall ,must visit place if you're a history lover,I loved this place,it was also attached with Air-coolers to pamper visitors.

A frigate which saw action in the 1971 war serves as the museum. Somewhat in a state of disrepair but still gives a very real sense of how navy ships are, cramped, packed with machinery, and did I mention cramped? Worth a visit. Plan for around 30 minutes.

If you have never been on a naval ship before, this is a great chance. As some passages and entry/exit points have steep staircases and are narrow, it might inconvenience the elderly. However, not impossible to navigate through.
Being in the ship shows how difficult the conditions can be especially when this magnificent beast might have sailed through the rough seas fighting enemies.
The fighter jet wasnt available for visit at the time we went. Ample parking is available under the flyover opposite the Museum. Worth a visit to see the history.

It’s not often that you get to see Navy ships from inside in India. Fascinating insight into life of a sailor.

Amazing place adjoining the Highway, overlooking the Ravindranath Tagore Beach and next to the Rock Garden, the warship museum is a must visit if you come to Karwar.
The INS Chapal Warship is said to have been an active warship with the Indian navy during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. For an Armed Forces enthusiast, like me this place is a must see as you can actually experience the feel of a Naval ship from inside.
The latest addition to the museum is a Tupolev Tu-142 aircraft which is as big as the warship, if not bigger. Though, due to open in 2020, it still remains closed. The grounds are nice with some shade and a few places where the elderly can sit.
Inside the ship is cramped and not well maintained so people with claustrophobia and disabilities need to take care.
The view from the top deck is amazing. There is Ample free parking under the flyover opposite the gate.
Would have given it a 5 ⭐ but for the lack of maintenance.

Amazing waterfall i have ever seen, must visit place in konkan, no trekking required and there lots of crowd on weekends and holidays. Best to witness mountain, waterfall, ghat and most beautiful foggy climate. It feels like heaven 😻

Good place. There is a huge waterfall in ghat section. The place is cool and feels as we are far away from city.

Amboli
The breathtaking Amboli Waterfalls is located in the hill station of Amboli in south Maharashtra in India.
This incredibly high waterfall is surrounded by numerous other waterfalls as well, and the sight of the falling water and the surrounding greenery add to the beauty and charm of the already mesmerising place. Since the beauty of the falls cannot be enjoyed throughout the year, the excitement and curiosity to witness this magical waterfall becomes doubled, and couples, children, groups of friends, as well as families, have a gala time at the Amboli Waterfalls.

Beautiful and safe waterfall, no trekking required, only few steps to climb to reach up to the waterfall. During monsoon those steps are also filled with water and the view is breathtaking. Currently its raining very less and hence no water over the steps.

One of the best locations to visit during rainy season beautiful scenic view of the waterfall and the green fresh atmosphere around .also there are small tea stalls which sell hot fried snacks as well

This is one of the must visit waterfalls during monsoon. I have visited it a couple of times. There is a lot of crowd during holidays and weekends. The highway is always blocked due to traffic.
Be careful and keep a check on the rains if you are planning to visit during monsoon as there are cases of landslides every year.
As of today 15th of August, there isnt much water due to scarcity of rainfall this year. However, its still a beautiful waterfalls amid the lush green forests of Amboli ghats.

Visited Oct 2023 first week on a Wednesday.
Beautiful waterfall on Amboli Ghat. It was a passerby stop during monsoon but now its popularity is huge. Lots of crowds from Goa, Karnataka & Maharashtra visit.
Steps created to make it safe & accessible.
Lots of delicious Vada pav, sabudana Vada, corn, onion pakoda, chai, coffee stalls at its base.
Do not feed the monkeys. They are not scared of humans.
There is no parking space. Have to park on sides of the road. Huge traffic jams on weekends during monsoon months.

It is one of the point of tourist attractions from Pune to Goa road trip. The best season to visit this place in rainy or monsoon season. I had recently visited this place while coming back to Pune from Goa.
A big thank you to Govt. authority to build staircase to see the closest view of waterfall. It is the roadside waterfall and don’t need any trekking to reach here.

It is just the best place in the monsoon season the water flow is nice and the crowd is low the water will flow in steps and it will be amazing to step up there. The water is very chill and cold the view is very nice and beautiful from amboli waterfalls
Irrespective of nationality, Tanshikar Spice Farm is a must-see destination. The proprietor is relaxed and unhurried and offers insight into the traditional mud dwelling. A tour costing INR 600 includes an explanation of various spice plants' cultivation and harvesting, as well as a delectable home-cooked meal. It's an excellent place for spice enthusiasts to take photographs.
One of the most beautiful and welcoming places in Goa! Great food and atmosphere! The owners are very welcoming and peaceful. We have been there for 3 nights and we felt like home. They took us to beautiful places near by and help us with all our trip in the area!

We went on day trip to spice farm. Staff was very humble. They serve only veg for lunch which was delicious. Would definitely recommend. You have to dribe through the jungle which was a really cool drive.

We had a great time! We learned a lot (about plants, spices, insects, and animals) the food was great, my daughter had fun playing with the cats, the staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and nice products are sold at the entrance. And the drive there is in such a beautiful landscape!

From the second we arrived this place felt very special - we did the spice farm tour and food experience and found it extremely interesting. The place itself is beautiful and our guide was incredible... at one point, even being able to flick between Hindi, English and Israeli when discussing the spices for all people on our tour.
The service was fantastic and the food was out of this world. Such a great experience and would 100% recommend working this into any trip if you are visiting this area of Goa.

Our experience was the most peaceful, rejuvenating, and much needed. Chinmayi was excellent as a host along with his wife. The food was delicious, with everything homegrown and super healthy. I bought a lot of spices and food items from them to bring back home. If you want to explore another side of Goa that's in the forests rather than the beach, do visit. Loved it ❤️

Our family had a great day at the Tanshikar Spice Farm, in March 2023. It took about an hour to drive here from Patnem beach, where we were staying. Lots of beautiful scenery on the drive. The Spice Farm helped us arrange a guided hike through Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, which was a highlight of our vacation. Our guide was great! Then we had a delicious meal at the Spice Farm. Our boys were tired out, and we didn't finish the tour of the farm, but the farm was beautiful, green, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to see some of rural Goa, away from the bustle of the beach towns. Highly recommended.

This was one of our highlights while travelling India. The host was so knowledgeable and informative and we learned so much about the local herbs and spices that Indians use to keep healthy. I 100% recommend taking a visit here if you are staying anywhere nearby

Me and my husband did the spice farm tour and lunch at the restaurant. The lady that took us around was extremely knowledgeable about the history and characteristics of each spice and came up with some really interesting facts. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We even got to view her family’s mud hut house which was a privilege. The quality of the food and the cacao drink we had was excellent and yummy. We bought some essential oils from the shop. Good value day out. We drove from Agonda. Beautiful drive out.

Regardless of if you are an Indian or a foreigner, this place is a must visit. The host was so calm and absolutely not rushed. She also gave us a glimpse of their ancient mud home. We are very thankful for that.
It costs RS. 600 and you are given a tour of various spice plants and are explained about their growth and harvest. The price also includes a home cooked meal which was delicious. This was my fourth visit to a spice plantation and I am always intrigued to know more. An absolute photo fest for the enthusiast.

We also bought some Spikes for reasonable prices.
I can truely recommend this place!

This is a wonderful place to visit with the owners taking you on a tour of how the different spices are grown in the middle of the jungle using each plant and the natural support system provided by the other plants and the environment to create a natural ecological system for growing spices. The guide was an expert in his subject and his English was excellent and his Hebrew was pretty good too. Also recommend the delicious lunch they serve and the friendly atmosphere. Not to miss if you are in South Goa

It's a well maintained family run spice farm and worth the visit specially during the rainy season. The host is very informative and will give you many facts that one may not know. Local buffet lunch was served which was decent.
Remember they aim for a self sustainable lifestyle so for some who put down negative comments probably expected luxury.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the spice plantation and had a wonderful time. The staff were very kind, friendly and attentive. We went on a trek through netravali and enjoyed the spice tour very much. The food was excellent and we loved the little bungalow we stayed at. It was surrounded by nature and was very romantic. Would definitely commend what chinmay and his staff are doing and recommend it to anyone who loves nature.

The Spice farm is located about an hour’s drive from the south Goan beaches and well worth the trip. The buffet style food is wonderful and varied. Let them know if you want non-veg in advance.
A group of us stayed for a couple of days to celebrate a birthday. The rooms are clean, and some have air-conditioning. There are quite a few different houses/rooms ranging from a traditional mud house with four rooms to more modern huts/houses. There is a lovely spring fed pool to swim and cool off in as well, so bring your bathing suit.
I took the tour of approximately 1 ½ hours with Chinmay, the 3rd generation owner of the spice farm and a fountain of information. The love and care he and his family put into this organic spice farm is evident. It is wonderful to see and learn about many of the spices that we may take for granted in our kitchen. I recommend either a day trip or a stay.

The guide had much knowledge and provided very interesting information (he's a member of the family owning the place - maybe other guides who are employees are not that good but he was reaaly top).
The farm is really impressive. We were also offered a visit to their traditional house.
The meal was OK - indian buffet style.
A local shop offers spices and products at tourist prices.

We stayed for one night at the farm and did all the activities: tour of the spice farm, E-Bike ride, trekk to the waterfall, and all were very well organised with very knowlegeable guides. The tour of the spice farm is incredibly interesting, I never had the opportunity to see how vanilla, cocoa, coffee, cardamom, pepper, nutmeg, etc grow. The trekk through the jungle took nearly 3 hours, and one can see many exotic birds, monkeys, snakes, lizards, and a beautiful waterfall.
The food at the spice farm (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was excellent!!!!
The accomodation is simple but clean and spacious, and there is a fan and A/C. It's very relaxing sitting on the verandah looking at the jungle.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, many young people from the area who do anything to make your stay pleasant.
Defintely a highlight of our stay in Goa!

Dudhsagar Falls, situated at the Goa-Karnataka border, is a 3-streamed waterfall that derives its name from its milky waters. It measures around 310 meters in height and is divided into four layers that eventually merge into the Mandovi River. As one of the tallest waterfalls in India, it is a popular tourist attraction and an ideal destination for nature lovers to revel in its lush green glory during monsoon season.
Beautiful place. Better to visit during/after monsoons otherwise everything is "red". ( oh , and beware the monkeys. They are adorable but playful and may want your purse/bag or sunglasses)

Private jeeps are the only way to go up. They are always on tight schedule and will give you only 90 min of time at water fall after reaching at parking place. 90 min is sufficient if you want to do some photography. But if you are a swimmer then negotiate the extra time charge in advance.

Dudhsagar Falls in Goa is a breathtaking natural wonder that leaves visitors in awe. The majestic cascade of white water plunging down from a height creates a mesmerizing spectacle. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, adding to the pristine beauty of the location. The sight and sound of the gushing water create a sense of tranquility and serenity. While the journey to Dudhsagar Falls can be adventurous, the destination is well worth it. Whether you choose to admire the falls from a distance or take a refreshing dip in its pools, Dudhsagar Falls offers a memorable and enchanting experience for nature lovers.

Haven on the earth, amazing natural beauty, you should never miss a chance to visit this place. I assure you will be filled with joy and adventure after reaching this place.
The safari ride will thrill you by it's adventure.
Good job the forest team to maintain the place clean and respectful.
Please don't remove your life jacket if you're entering in to falls as I could be dangerous because of its depth.

It’s a journey to get here and you should count at least 4 hours for this trip (excluding the journey from the hotel to the park entrance which in our case took 2 hours in each direction from our hotel in north Goa)
Overall we left the hotel at 7am and returned at 4pm
Getting the mandatory Jeep to go in the track to reach the waterfall is a very disorganized process (it takes roughly 30 minutes and cost 700rs + 40rs for life jacket) / we heard that you can skip this part by booking online.
Once in the Jeep, count 30-45 minutes to get through the checkpoint (100rs for government) and reach the Jeep parking.
Then around 10 minutes walk (difficult for kids and old people) to cross very natural places before reaching the waterfalls.
You can swim in the waterfalls, it’s clean and safe.
Not recommended for solo women travelers.

The trek is a bit hectic (around 14 kms one way) but it’s totally worth it. The view is breathtaking. If you like watching water falling over rocks, it’s definitely a place to check out.

Gifted place. You cannot ride to the falls, stop the car at the jeep taxi stand and book the jeep online. Link will be provided at the place. Rs. 25 per person for registration, kids above age 5 to be considered as adults. This registration copy to be shown at the counter to get a jeep driver. One jeep will carry only 7 passengers. You need to pay 500 per head for jeep safari, additional 300 including the life jacket (mandatory) and forest entrance fees.
Ride to the falls is awesome. You will get almost an hour time at the falls. Have to be careful while walking over the slippery rocks 🪨. Mobiles must kept inside a plastic cover or carry it very carefully. Wear the life jacket and you can swim in the water. Water will be very cold and it’s an awesome experience there. Carry swim suits or spare dress to enjoy the bath.

Dudhsagar Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder that left me in awe during my recent visit. The sheer size and power of the waterfall are simply mesmerizing. The cascading water looks like a frothy river of milk, hence the name "Dudhsagar," which means "Sea of Milk" in Hindi.
The lush green surroundings and the dense forest add to the charm of this place, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers. The journey to reach the waterfall, whether by train or trekking, is an adventure in itself, with stunning views of the Goan countryside.
The only downside to this popular tourist destination is the crowd. It can get quite crowded, especially during the peak season, which takes away from the tranquility of the place. However, if you can time your visit during the off-peak hours, you'll have a more peaceful experience.
Overall, Dudhsagar Waterfall is a must-visit for anyone exploring the natural beauty of Goa. It's a sight to behold and a great escape from the bustling beaches and nightlife of the region.

A wonderful natural beauty.
This is a very unique scenario where you can see waterfalls, hilly rivers, deep forest and railway tracks in between deep forest. You can take a Jeep ride from Kulem to visit this waterfall. The water is very clear and the atmosphere is very peaceful and pleasant in nature. You can take a deep breath and chill in here. Fresh air and fresh water.
You can visit from November to February for the best experience. Water is around 20 meters deep at the falling point. A life jacket is must to visit this waterfall.

When we went here few years, we had only option to get the train, if we miss then need to walk to main station to catch the trains. Lot had improved now after many visitors are reaching here. We can bath at downside of the fall with trekking. No shops where there before but now we have it. Lot improved now. Great experience.

Very hyped falls, with less stream and water. Approaching road inside forest is bumpy, not a tar road takes around 45 minutes to reach followed by 10 to 15 min walk. 640 per head- 500 ticket, 100 to forest entry, 40 life jacket or 3500 for a vehicle. Railway track is there. Water is deep and cold. Overall ok.

One of the best places to visit in South Goa. We came here in the off season. Had a small hike to make it to here. But it was all worth it. The waterfall is is a huge one and shipped like heart. You can also see it from the train but we decided to get down in Kulem station to do a small hike. The hike it self was amazing.

Breath taking view when you arrive there. I would absolutely recommend a visit if you are in India and Goa. Make sure you arrive early as there is a limit to how many Jeeps can go there in a day. Swimming in the water is a must after a hot trek but get ready for crowded and quite tight rocky shore. Water is deep.
Also be careful with any food as monkey are there to steal it then they litter around with food wrappings juice boxes etc. They can get quite aggressive.
Najir Shaikh — Google review
Make sure to visit this place in the early morning . Morning is the best time to reach there with view as well as to avoid long queues, otherwise you will end up waiting in queue while sitting in your vehicle. Don't carry any food inside the waterfall otherwise you'll have to share it with monkeys. In Jeep Safari I had an experience where a monkey suddenly came up for food and was sitting with me inside the Jeep.
For a ticket you need to do an online booking and then to book for Jeep from there with life jacket charge. There is also a separate jungle entry fee, so it is better to keep your card handy for the payment.

One must visit this waterfall if you are visiting Goa. The milky white water flows with gush which is a treat to eyes. it is wise to visit this waterfall in Goa, after the monsoon, between October to February.
If you want to swim in the Dudhsagar River at the base of the falls, do it only with a life jacket. Bathing in the monsoon is not recommended when the water flows with great force. There are no cloakrooms / lockers to store luggage near the falls.
Note: Be aware of monkeys and dont feed them.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Doodh Sagar in Goa, and let me tell you, it's a sight to behold! The view from there is absolutely stunning, especially after it rains and everything is lush and green. Unfortunately, they're not allowing visitors to go up to the top at the moment, but don't let that deter you – you can still take in the beauty from ground level. I'd suggest planning your visit for after rainy days to get the full experience. However, if you're thinking of going during hot weather, it might not be as enjoyable. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a nature lover!

The water is pretty cold and does feel great while swimming. There are tadpoles to medium sized fishers and they do bite (little).
Many people will come onto roads and stop you to park your vehicle near their place (for 100rs) and ask you to get the token saying they already have few passengers (need 7 for a safari) plz don't take any forehand, near the token counter itself ull get parking as well as the safari drivers.

Hidden deep within the lush forests of Dandeli, Syntheri Rocks is a natural wonder that is sure to amaze and enchant visitors of all ages. This towering rock formation, carved by the relentless forces of nature over millennia, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
As I made my way down the winding path towards the rocks, the anticipation grew. The air was filled with the sounds of the forest, and the sunlight filtered through the canopy of trees, creating a dappled effect on the ground.
Upon reaching the base of the rocks, I was awestruck by their sheer size and grandeur. The sheer vertical rock face towered above me, its smooth surface reflecting the sunlight in a mesmerizing way. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I stood before this natural masterpiece.
As I climbed the steps leading up to the viewing platform, I was rewarded with even more stunning views. The lush greenery of the forest stretched as far as the eye could see, dotted with glimpses of the Kali River winding its way through the valley. The air was fresh and invigorating, and I could feel the stress of everyday life melting away.

Entry fee 50/- per person. Before reaching the destination you have to do little off-roading with narrow roads. Good parking space available for car's and bike's. You need to walk down a lot of steps to reach to the rocks. One local shop you will find on the way, also washroom facility is there, however cleanliness is not maintained. After reaching the destination you will be amazed to see the beauty of the nature. Best place for photography. This is one of the best place to visit if you're travelling to Goa via Dandeli. You need to go inside tiger kali reserve to view this place hence timing restriction applies for visiting this place. This place offers spectacular view and take some good shots. Earlier people are allowed to watch near the stream but due to unforeseen incident now they've closed that route and you can enjoy the view from a distance. This place provides details about the rocks ,sediments and their uses. There is only one small shop available to buy snacks and water. The entry charges applicable for this place. You have to test your fitness while returning to the parking point as the steps are inclined and difficult to catch breath but you are provided with benches to sit and catch your breath. Good for visiting this place once.

Beautiful place to visit if you are a nature enthusiastic.
Beautiful and scenic, right in middle of dense forest.
Old rocks make you realise how old earth could be.
There is no proper tarmac road leading to the rocks, it's just a way formed by vehicles going through.
No swimming/bathing advisable given the nature of the rocks, highly dangerous, if done.
Climb down to the fall is easy, not the other way, as it is quite high.

It's a nice place but i would suggest to visit this place only when the flow of the river is more but one thing i noticed is there is a board in which it is clearly written to not to go very close to the river and they have restricted the bank also with ropes for people to know that they should not go beyond that point but Indians if start following rules it will be a insult to India only right. People crosses those boundaries and go in the river just for the sake of clicking photos and risking lifes. Don't do it guys. It's a nice place don't ruin it's beauty. People littering near river really breaked my heart.

Exploring Karnataka....at Dandeli...... The famous monolithic granite.....Syntheri Rock.....
At a distance of 31 km from Dandeli and 16 km from Ulavi, Syntheri Rock is monolithic granite structure with a height of 300 feet, which is located in the dense forests of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the top Dandeli tourist places to visit.
Syntheri Rock is a huge, massive limestone rock formed due to volcanic eruptions some million years ago. It is named after an English lady called Ms. Cinthera who is believed to have discovered this place in 20th century. River Kaneri passes along the side of this rock. Owing to the flow of the river from the vicinity, erosion has resulted in the rocks getting hollowed. The corners of this rock cave are inhabited by numerous pigeons and honeybees.
Entry to the venue is controlled by forest department. The site can be reached either by jeep or by walk through the dense forest from the entrance. At the entrance visitors need to pay nominal entry fee and vehicles can go up to the parking area from where visitors need to climb down to reach the base.
There is a 15-20 minute walk from the vehicle parking to the rock. A flight of 200 odd steps downwards lead you to the base. The steps are very steep and various types of rocks found in the forest are displayed along the steps.

A must visit place if you're in Dandeli.
You can park your car in Syntheri Rocks Hebbagilu.
From there you can either choose to walk from the entrance for around 10-15 mins or take your vehicle. There's an entry fee.
Second part of the journey you'll have to go by walk where you might have to walk around 200 steps which is quite slippery during Rainy season, so be careful and hold onto guard rails.
Once you climb down the steps you can view the rock formation and water gushing.

Located in kali tiger reserve thick forest, take dandeli to ulavi road after some distance you can see the entrance to side of the road, from this road there will be mud road for about 4km, just enjoy the nature around then go down using steps, this syntheri rock is about 300 feet tall grooves created by river water, don't get down to water enjoy the place. you have to pay entry fee and parking fees ₹50 for adults. Visit this place if you are coming to dandeli.

This massive dam, built across the Kali river & surrounded by deep jungle, opened in 1987.
Very clean and well maintained temple. Has a very good aura to it. The temple is built beautifully with all the jyotirlings painted on the pillars. It has an attached mini zoo with Deers, swans, rabbits and turtles.

Located on the Camp Road in Belgaum in Karnataka, Military Mahadev Temple is one of the prime attractions in the city that has been built and maintained by the Indian Army. Founded in 1955 by Lieutenant General S.M. Shrinagesh, General Officer, and Commander-in-Chief Southern Command, the temple is situated in the heart of a lush green park. In addition to that, there is also a play area for the kids.
The foundation stone of Military Mahadev Temple was laid on January 18, 1954. The temple was opened to public on January 24, 1955 by Lieutenant General S.M. Shrinagesh, General Officer and Commander-in-Chief Southern Command.
Military Mahadev Temple has undergone several renovations and modifications through the years and the dome has been completely changed. There is a religious ritual practised every Monday called Samuhik Panchamrit, also called as the collective offering of the Panchamrit. This Panchamrit is made of four important elements - honey, yogurt, ghee, and sugar. The most important festival celebrated here is Mahashivratri. It has undergone renovations with a new dome built in the original style and carvings similar to those in other South Indian temples.
The temple remarkably clean and well-maintained. It is so called because of its long-standing use for worship by army personnel and of course, it was later thrown open to the public.

Best place to go for a relaxed walk, quality time with family, kids love it. This was the must go destination for me as a child. Loved watching deer, rabbits, peacocks, emu. The temple was a must visit place. Going to the Krishna fountain to spot tortoises was the next best activity. It was very hard to get a chance to sit on the swings. I always preferred the slide.

One of the best temple in belgaon. This one is too spacious and they have many seating arrangements also in the premise. There’s a ground on which they have developed some miniatures of forts won by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Children’s park is also there on another side of temple.
Photography is not allowed in main temple. This temple has two nandi statues in-front of the shivling rather than one which we usually see.
This is really close to the belgaon railway station so you can actually walk upto this place.

Take a break from busy city schedule and head towards this place for a day out with some amazing activities to refresh for mind and some amazing food to tickle your pallet.
In my recent visit to this place I was stunned by the fact how neatly they have organised and fine details towards interest of audience.
Spread over more than 35 acres of land you may get tired but the entertainment will not stop. I am sure you'll love the food and hospitality this place offers.
Very important factor of this place is their work force who are very courteous towards the visitors and are so friendly giving you a homely vibe which you wish the day should never end.
You'll get to see the roots of village life filled the great hospitality, genuine care and atmost attension which you strive for in a typical city routine.
* Food is awesome
* Washrooms well maintained
* Ample of parking space
* Loads of activities
* Pricing is just fine
* Well organised setup
* Lots of staff to guide you
If I could give one feedback that would be not to use animals for the sake of activities and entertainment. Bullock cart and camel rides are used by villagers since they don't have alternatives, using them here would not be fair in my opinion.

In the era of nuclear families, the themes like Agadi Thota come in handy to spend time with entire family including siblings, cousins, etc. There is no fun of you go with your spouse and kids. You have to visit these types of theme parks in group and will definitely enjoy the company.
You will get a complete treat of authentic north karnataka cuisine and culture. You will have enough of breakfast, beverages, lunch and snacks.
Games for kids, variety of rides, artificial rain, magic show, pottery making and many more activities.
Overall a good place to spend a day with your close ones.

I would like to call this "Nature retreat camp".
A private farm very well maintained with descent options for refreshment which includes authentic, classic style or you may call it ethnic style recreational activities.
For 650 rs you'll be served best in the class North Karnataka food (lunch), dosa for breakfast, and some snacks in the evening. All these are unlimited.
Horse riding, horse chariot, boating, circus, puppet show etc are some of the activities to name.
If you want to go for 1 day outing especially for the people looking for orthodox style retreats then this is the place.

This place is amazing for a one-day outing, getaway from your daily routine. Charges per head ₹650, as of January 2022. It includes unlimited welcome drink & snacks, fruits, breakfast, lunch, and chai (tea) with snacks. They have various entertainment shows like rope walking, magic show, horse riding, puppet show, boating etc. You can also rent clothes from different cultures and click photos here. It's a great place for entertainment!
Mahima Nayak — Google review
The experience was quite nice. It's a good getaway for those living in South Karnataka, but those in North Karnataka might feel this to be a very mediocre thing. The overall ambience, atmosphere and rural setting was amazing, but the food was very forgettable. During Summers, eating should be a pleasant affair, but it turned out to be tiring. Also, the rain dance arena could have been a little more closer and better with areas dedicated for kids, women and men separately. The music for the rain dance was also not very kid-friendly. Music played at such loud volume could cause some serious damage to little kids who just want to enjoy a little dance in the rain-like atmosphere. Rest, there's a lot of scope to improve the environment.

Agadi Thota was a novel experience for us. The place served tasty North Karnatakan food and had various activities to keep you engaged throughout the day. My daughter loved interacting with the animals and seeing things like goli soda, barbecued sweet potato, bullock carts, hand-juiced sugarcane, napping chairs, etc. which one doesn't see much of, nowadays. Would advise anyone to reach as early as possible to enjoy maximum.

Unkal Lake is a popular tourist spot located on the outskirts of Hubli, known for its large size spanning across 200 acres and scenic beauty. The lake boasts of a waterfront park where visitors can enjoy boating and watch sunsets with family and kids. Additionally, it features Swami Vivekananda's statue situated in the middle of the lake.
At a distance of 6 km from Hubli Junction Railway Station, Unkal Lake is a stunning lake situated at the Unkal locality of Hubli. It is one of the must include places in Hubli Tour Packages.
Unkal Lake is a beautiful picnic spot and a major source of drinking water for the twin cities of Hubli & Dharwad. About 110 years old, the lake covers an area of nearly 200 acres. This site is renowned as the 'Karma Bhoomi' of Shri Siddappajja, who was born in 1859. He eloped from his home at the age of 14 to find a Guru and resided in Unkal Mailarlings Temple. Shri Siddappajja died in 1921 and since then a 'Jatre' is organized at this site.
This picturesque water body is surrounded by a lush garden that mesmerizes travelers coming here in search of peace and serenity. This is among the most popular places to visit in Hubli. Most people visit this lake during evening times as it offers an enchanting sunset view. Another attraction of this lake is the statue of Swami Vivekananda that has been placed in the middle of the lake. This is a famous family picnic spot where the locals are found strolling in the park and enjoy boating in the serene waters of the lake.

Great place for walkers and jogger’s . We could only make 1/4th round of the entire lake . According to the security of the lake the entire periphery of the lake is about 6.5 kms . The lake closes at 07:00 pm . If you are planning to cover the entire round then have ample time before you take the full circle.
The lake is just next to Hotel naveen . The pavement have been well laid . There are lights out along the track so that the move may be smooth . There is a sun set view point at the enterance at a heightened location . There is an eatery/restaurant at the entrance where you can grab snack before you set out for walking . Entrance fee is 10/- and parking fee is also 10/- . If you are in Hubballi and not sure where to go in the evening then this is a good place to explore .

I am a resident of Jaipur and have been visiting lake for long walks ever since childhood. I have seen people from all walks of life come to lake for morning and evening walks. I like to walk the talk here with friends and family. The environment of the lake is very conducive for deep introspection. Watching the sunrise or sunset gives me an exhilarating experience and makes me feel one with God and Nature. Of late you can see the water shimmering like silver if you go around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and makes the whole area look so calm and serene and beautiful. At the other end of the lake there is now a Buddha Park with a very beautiful calm and serene statue of Lord Buddha in sitting pose. At the entrance you will find the lake club, restaurant, lots of vendors selling eatables, and a big play zone for kids where you can enjoy with kids. Also, there are ducks in the lake which you can feed or go for a boat ride. There are plenty of things to do here. It has become an activity centre for people. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Agastya Lake, located in Badami, is a significant pilgrimage site with a rich history dating back to the 5th century. Considered sacred for its healing waters, the lake is surrounded by notable landmarks such as the Bhootnath temples and the cave temples. According to legend, it is believed that the water was brought by Garuda from the celestial abode of Vishnu.
A nice lake just below the badami cave temple complex. Relax after the long climb.

Beautiful lake in Badami. Though locals use it to bathe and wash their clothes here but surprisingly it’s still clean.
Green waters with bhoothnath temple in the background, make it a really great place to visit. The cool breeze by the lake really soothes you.
One of the good locations to spend some time especially in the evenings. Sunset looks really beautiful here.

Beautiful lake in Badami, the red sandstone hills, cave temples and other temples around this lake makes this a must visit point. The lake can be seen from the cave temples or the other side can be accessed by walking through the village area (or there is a crowded road from the city side). The other side of the lake has the Bhutanatha Group of temples.

The Bhootnath temple on Agastya lake is situated near the Badami cave temples ( opposite ) . Magnificent sight and one can spend long hours during late evening / sunset hours for superb pictures . The stone temples get their own multitude of hues in the golden hour . Absolutely enjoyed the day experience
The only grouse is that google maps points you to take a very very narrow road where cars can barely enter, through slum areas where people / animals still live - this infrastructure needs to be improved / alternative road to be developed OR vehicles should be banned with maybe carts / auto allowed only .
Avinash Venkataraman — Google review
The Agastya Lake is a holy lake bounded to the south by the Badami Cave Temples and to the north by the Badami Fort. Legend has it that the lake is water brought by Garuda from the water pleasure tank of God in Vaikunta, the celestial abode of Vishnu.
From afar, the late looks very picturesque. Up close, you can see the locals using it as a place to wash their clothes. The water does not look clean, though that doesn’t seem to stop the locals from taking a swim. Located on the eastern shores of the lake is the Bhootnath Temple.
The hygiene notwithstanding, Agastya Lake and the area around it is very picturesque and that along is worth visiting for.
macedonboy — Google review
Near Badami caves. Nice bird's eye view from the caves. Gets dried in summer but full in monsoon. Beautiful temples all around. Bhootnath temple is quite good with smaller ones and large stones with carvings. There is a small temple on a large stone with no visible way to reach there.
From Badami caves, across the lake, there is a one of its kind Archaeological museum with Govt staff, better to carry change if you want to visit it. On both sides of museum, nice places to visit with moderate climbing. Right side there are old scribes and left to museum, mountain with beautiful temples and nice view of Badami.
Enough parking space if you can figure out how to reach there! Hardly any drink, snack or water available nearby so carry yourself and try to visit early morning or late evening.

We got a bird’s eye view of the Agastya Lake when we climbed the hill where the cave temples are located. The waters looked very calm and serene in the early morning light when we visited the caves.
The lake is next to the Bhutnatha Temple and we got another mesmerising view of the lake from the banks. There were steps leading down to the lake, like a bathing ghat. We sat on the steps for a while as the sun was setting, and enjoyed another aspect of its beauty.
The lake water is considered to be holy and have some healing powers. But we found the water to be murky and greenish in colour, so we did not risk taking a dip in it. The approach to the lake is through some narrow roads of Badami town.
The views of the surrounding hills and the Bhutnatha temples and the caves on the opposite cliff against the setting sun make for a magical experience. Not many people visit this place, so it is very calm and quiet. It is very soothing to sit by the lake and meditate for a while.

A group of stone temples with amazing architecture and carvings. Scenes of Ramayana was found carved on one of the temples. A rock with ancient Kannada inscriptions is also here. It was sad to see some idols destroyed by the invaders. Road connectivity is good. A dream place for history
Pranav A Sogi — Google review
Amazingly designed stone temple complex and it is sad to see some of the idols destroyed by the invaders. If you want to comprehend temple history and decipher the artwork and text, a tour guide is a must. Entry tickets must be bought at the counter. There aren't many upscale restaurants here, but there are many local eateries outside the temple complex. The parking and road connectivity are both good, and the restrooms are kept up properly.

Pattadakallu is a fine example of mixture of North and South architecture in one place.Several marvelous temples have been made here where worship was done in olden days of Chalukya dynasty.Entry fees is only forty rupees per head.

Beautiful and well maintained UNESCO world heritage site. Sprawling and curated lawns enhance and add to the beauty and grandeur of the site. Although Nagara style architecture captures one' s attention other temples in the complex are gems in their own realm. Wide pathways and alleyways along with proper description on pedestals of each of the temples in the complex add to interactive involvement. Ample security is provided so as to prevent damage to the pristine structures and artefacts. Well maintained toilets at the ticketing counter with running water and ample car parking space sure provides comfort. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or by scanning the QR code displayed there. The museum is not too far from the temple complex and is worth the visit.

Beautiful world heritage site. Let's all make an effort to preserve our rich heritage by not polluting or defacing such priceless monuments. Amenities like toilets, parking ticketing counters are all well managed. There is a functional temple opposite which is a beautifully carved Nandi. Lawns are well maintained as well as the walkways. Rest assured it's worth your time.

Well maintained temple ruins. There is a working temple at the emd of the campus. Walking through these ruins tells a beautiful story of the architecture of the old kingdom. Barring the noise of people visiting the shrine, it was magical to walk into the temple with puja being conducted.

A dream-come-true experience I can say. For the past 20 years I have been thinking of visiting this architectural marvel of India but for one reason or another I could not be able to make it. But better late than never. Once I got the chance i just gone there since I was so eagerly waiting for such moment. Some 21 kms from Badami, a small city in North Karnataka, and some 126 km from Hubli, Pattadakal is truly a legend in itself, and that's why I guess UNESCO has tagged it as World Heritage site. Going there is quite easy as there are buses plying from Badami to Pattadakal quite frequently, which takes an hour or less only. Bus will charge you 30 Rs from Badami to Pattadakal. There is a direct train from Bangalore to Badami takes some 12 hours. Entry fee to the site is INR 40 for Indians and INR 600 for foreigners. The fee for everything is clearly displayed at the ticket counter. Temple campus is very massive and the entire premises is well-maintained. The temples architecture is just amazing. Dedicated to different forms of Lord Shiva, all the temples are having Shivalinga installed inside the chamber. Beautifully carved-images on the pillars are really something that will hold your attention for long time. You need to spend time for long there to feel the magic. You will get immersed in the artistic marvel created 1000s of years ago by the great king Chol named Vikramaditya. For those who are creative writers or artists, it's really a great place to be. Don't read much but find opportunity to visit there. Summer is very harsh there so winter would be very ideal.

A must visit place if you are interested in history or architecture. Please ensure that you visit this place if you are coming to Badami. You may even skip Aihole but don't skip pattadakkal. Don't forget to check out even the roof while visiting the palace. Entry fee is Rs.40 per person (Indian). Still camera (including DSLR) is allowed inside without any extra fee. Video cameras will be charged extra. Please do read about the history of the place before visiting which will help you to visualise and enjoy the place in a much better way.

Cradle of India's temple architecture. Probably the only place where you get to witness the north and south indian temple style side by side. A worthy UNESCO world heritage site.
Enjoy traditional north Karnataka food outside once you are done with the temples.

Excellent place. Guide is must otherwise will be very hard to know the historical importance of this place. Parking is available but need to do more work on it. Snacks items are available but are limited in numbers. Very less choice you will have. Road is also in very good condition. One will love the driving on these roads. As per me best time to visit is monsoon end or winter season. Handicapped persons will find difficulties on visiting here. Overall a Good place to visit near Badami.

One of the best historic monuments dating back to the Chakulya era of the 6th century. Mostly very size sized stones used to setup the various small temples within the complex. Very intricate work and the shades of colors you see when sun light falls on the structure is a treat to the eyes.

Marvelous place. Can easily spend a couple of hours. If you have time, then a guide would be good to get around and understand the subtle architectural elements.
There are different gopura styles in different temples. Ramayana, Mahabharata and various other splendid story carvings are found on the pillars and throughout the area. There is also Jain architecture here.
There is an entry fee to the temple complex. The place is maintained well and clean.

The place is very well maintained by ASI and very clean. There us a certain calmness when visiting the temples.
The crowd is not allowed sit on lawn by security but it will be very comforting to visitors.
The only thing that was very annoying that there students doing drawing all over place and they left very little access to places ignoring everyone. They should be allowed but there must be rules for them so that they allow general tourist to enjoy the place as well.

One of the ancient historic site in Karnataka displaying the temple architecture built sometime during 8th century. The kings of those period and those sculptures deserve a special place in our history for leaving this behind for our generation to witness their work. It is our duty to preserve such historical monuments. No need to say that still there's lot to see around if you spend time enough to see.

Lots of monkeys though around and it’s good if you carry some bag if you want to feed banana to the elephant as monkeys won’t let you carry it till there. What a surreal and do one experience visiting this iconic temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
I visited Hampi for 2 nights during my recent solo motorcycle ride to Karnataka and this was one of the most unforgettable highlights of the ride.
I visited this temple very early morning at 6 am while it was still dark and the temple looked absolutely gorgeous shining and shimmering.
I had an absolutely fantastic Darshan of the Garbha Griha and was also fortunate to watch the Mandir Elephant going back to her shed.
I spent almost an hour inside the temple admiring the beautiful architecture of this temple.
Words aren't enough to describe my experience I had here but I still tried.

There's 11 Elephant's stables. All of them are interconnected with each other. There is entry fee of Rs.40 per Indian adult. Inside this complex there are plenty of historical monuments.
The whole building looks symmetric with respect to this central hall. The tower of the central hall resembles (though mostly destroyed) more like that of temples. However the five pairs of domes on either side are of Islamic in style. They are better preserved and of alternating patterns. Metal hooks (used to tie the elephants) on the inside roof can be seen. At the rear of each hall are small manhole type openings for the mahouts to enter the elephant compartments. It's one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site

One among the few least destroyed structures in Hampi, Elephant Stable is a major tourist attraction. This long building with a row of domed chambers was used to ‘park’ the royal elephants. There are 11 domed tall chambers; some of them are inter- connected. The center one is specially decorated and big. Probably the musicians and the associated band troupes had been using this during ceremonies involving elephant processions.

Great Ruins of a temple known for creative architecture from past generation.
They have parking available and buggy service available too, buggy is 20rs per head for two way and it will take you near to the main temple. It is fair way for the price.
Entrance ticket is 40rs which can be used for lotus mahal as well. We have purchased our ticked at lotus mahal which have been used for entrance here.
Main attraction was the stone chariot & musical pillars.
The ruins are beautiful architectures , few spots definitely needs restoration in order to save our ancient history.
The musical pillars are currently in renovation which is why entry is not permitted inside but can be seen from out.
Guides are available on site who can guide you with the history.
Definitely a place to visit.

Stone chariot and musical pillars(not allowed to enter the place) are here in ruined condition (off-course whole hampi monuments are in ruined condition), old aged tree.
Better to take long buggy car from entrance to temple place if it’s hot not suggestive to walk.
It was Sunny and Windy day and rested here at one of the mandapam near stone chariot.
Due to G20 summit venue there were lots of repair works inside and outside under progress ultimately benefiting visitors for easy moving.

A must visit ancient historical site in Hampi. Take a guide to know the details of the place. Facilities are good. One can walk or take shuttle service ( chargeable 20/-)up to the entrance of the temple. The entrance fee is 40/-, the same ticket can be used to visit Lotus Mahal& museum.

Representing the essence of India's tourism, this place stands as one of the finest. Its beauty captivated us. The entrance fee was a mere 35, applicable to various locations, and there were no additional charges for photography.
For a nominal fee of Rs 20, a battery-operated car efficiently transported us from the parking area to the main entrance. Notably, the legendary story of Ramayana unfolds on the walls of this monument, adding a rich cultural dimension.
For those with children, hiring a guide at Rs 2500 for the day is advisable. The guide provides detailed insights, allowing kids to enjoy the stories associated with the monument.
The iconic Stone Chariot, featured on the Rs 50 note, is a central highlight that shouldn't be missed.

We ought to express our gratitude to the brilliant architects and civil engineers of ancient times. This place is a UNESCO-designated masterpiece of destructive beauty. The intricately carved stone sculptures showcase astonishingly minute details, offering a visual feast to all who behold them. The technological marvels, such as the musical pillars and the ingenious provision of natural light, left me utterly clueless about the ideologies behind their creation.
The beautifully carved chariot, adorned with meticulous detailing, has the power to truly captivate the mind and leave it in awe.

Beautiful
We can buy tickets once we reach there. It's easy to scan and buy tickets. Tickets are valid for one day
From parking there is around 1 km to the temple. Golf cart is available to travel to and fro. 20 rs for both side for one person. We might have to wait as there is long queue. One vehicle fits in 9 passengers there are more than 5 vehicles though. We can see the temple explore the place and come back to the parking area
Please carry hat/cap/umbrella and water bottle along

This beautiful place is the ruins of vijayanagar empire which still attracts tourists from across the globe. The place is at a distance of 1km from the main road from where one can take electric cart at Rs 20 pp. The entry ticket into the temple area is Rs 40 pp which can be used to visit other historical places at hampi. One can witness an amazing sunset at the back of the temple. Entry to the musical pillars area is currently restricted. It is better to carry cash as the network coverage is very poor.

One of the finest works of the Vijayanagar architecture. Sad the temple is almost in ruins and that one is not allowed to visit the main temple but the complex. But one can enjoy the carvings from the outside. The stone chariot is the star attraction.

One of the best place to represent the India Tourism. Such a beautiful place and luckily we visited on Monday and it was not crowded at all. We have ample time to spend at every nook on corner of this beautiful monument . We got the ticket for just Rs 30 which can be used at number of places. There is no photography charges. The battery operated car will ferry you from parking to main entrance at a minimal cost of rs 20. The legendary story of Ramayana was depicted in the wall of this monument. A guide for full day will be available at Rs 2500 and it is good to have guide if accompanied by children . Guide will provide the details and kids will enjoy the story.
The stone Chariot in the center which is featured in Rs 50 note can be witnessed

We visited the temple on a public holiday and emhence it was super crowded.
There is INR20 cab ride from start point to main temple area. If the weather is good and you can walk, I would advise to do so. Because there are a lot of small ruins in between which you would miss when travelling through buggy. It is sad the buggy do not stop in between to show other amazing stops. It is absolutely worth visiting this place to witness the past.

Beautiful monument and temple. Booking tickets online will save you money and time. Try to make it to the temple early in the morning especially during summer months, not a lot of shade and it gets very hot from noon till 5 pm. There is a 1 km walk from parking, or a shuttle. The shuttle is not sufficient for the crowd, so might end up waiting up to an hour depending on the crowd, one shuttle transports 9 people and they have 3 shuttles running. If you decide to walk, there’s no wait, but not a lot of shade on the path. Would recommend hiring a guide if you are interested in learning the stories carved on the walls and pillars.

Famous tourist spot. We visited on 15 January & it was very crowded due to the festival and Sunday.
Parking was 500 meters away from the main entrance, so we had to take an auto from there. After reaching the main entrance, we took a battery operated vehicle to reach the main temple area. Charges were Rs.10 per person. Ticket for the main temple area was Rs.40 per person. A very big area with many temples/ruins. Many guides are available. The famous chariot from the Rs.50 note was the main attraction. In return, again the battery operated vehicle took us back to the main entrance.

Wonderful place....the chariot inside is what u find on the backside of a Rupees 50 note...nice carvings , beautiful architecture...awed at the way such things were done without any modern knowledge and resources expertise..
U have to walk for a km from the parking till the temple or stand in a queue and climb on the battery operated vehicle...ticket fare is 40 per adult...

Amazing experience to visit this temple and great experience for the kids as well. There is so much to know and learn about our rich cultural heritage that’s completely missing from the tex books and can’t be covered in school curriculum. Must visit place in Hampi
Ample parking space available
From the parking there is a long walk(around 750 meters) to the actual temple. Its worth the walk if you do not want to miss the old market place ruins and beautiful pond on the way. Battery operated vehicles are also available if there are kids and elders.(Rs 20 per head)There will be some queue , but it moves fast. Once you reach the actual temple a nominal fee of Rs 40 is charged per head.
It is worth taking a guide if you are really interested about the glorious history of the place. You find certified guides around the temple. They charge around 500rs to show the temple around. But knowing the history really adds value to our visit, which otherwise would end up just as a selfie destination.
Saraskanth T.K. — Google review
The majestic temple is an absolute man made marvel. Even in the scorching heat in peak summer, you would still end un enjoying visiting the place. The guides here charge a mere 300 INR but again their commitment to helping you understand the beautiful history of the place is average (value for money).
Ideally you should visit this place either early in the morning or late in the evening to beat the heart and do have a guide to tag along. Don’t walk to the temple, take a e-rickshaw and while returning you can walk if you want.

One of the most popular place in Hampi. The stone chariot printed in the 50rs note is located here. If you are coming by own vehicle you can drive upto the parking and from there we get the buggy vehicle for the 1km distance to the temple or else can walk. If you are visiting Hampi by public transport then the best way to reach here is to walk from Hampi bazaar area which will be a distance of 2.5km. This walk through the beautiful historical remains of Hampi including Achyutaraaya temple & Kings balance is a great experience. The distance to here from Virupaksha temple by road is 8km and autos may charge 300-400rs. You will get autos nearby the parking area. Couldn't find any buses to here.
The place is very beautiful and well maintained. Ticket rate was 40rs and we can use the same ticket for other monuments in Hampi.

Hampi is a place which has a lot of monuments spread across an area of more than few square kilometres.
You will always find a board in all the monuments which states where you are along with a list of more than 60 places to see or visit.
Refer to the pics posted in this review and you can see a lot of the items.
You need to understand that touring hampi is not a days job. It will take 3 days to see all the spectacular sites. It hurts to see so much destruction done by humans in the past. Imagine these over 650 yrs old and still standing. The natural damage is way less than damages done by humans.
Every where you go there will be a cluster of things to see and you can see them one by one.
All maybe listed as different places in maps but you have to understand that they are different architectural marvels but located within the vicinity of a major grand structure.
It’s always good to explore self rather than blindly believing the reviews posted by amateur like us.
Visit HAMPI once in your lifetime for sure.

I visited the temple today 15.5.2022 with my sisters. Had a peaceful darshan though there was rush. We contributed to Annadanam. Finally we came to buy prasadam. Prasadam per pocket is Rs 25/-. I gave 50 and the lady sitting in the counter asked me rudely to get change or make way for others. We come from far of places to see Raghavendra God. But I was upset as she shouted at the top of her voice. Please post people who help and understand the devotees. My other experience in the temple was very good.

This place is loaded with posative vibes. I had a very lucky and quick visit to this temple site. Blessed to have visited and got the darshan of this place. Very well maintained place. Has a large courtyard and a majestic walkway to the temple. The river flowing behind the temple adds to the beauty.
The museum next to the temple is very interesting. It gives you an insight into our religions well as the vast cosmic universe . The various Lords / God and Goddess explained. Children should be exposed to this. Found meaning in why we say a prayer prior to meal, how to, and like. The body as a whole and its system too explained from religion point of view.
Lot of visitors. Has multiple options to stay and eat.

Belum Caves, located on the Indian subcontinent, offers a remarkable experience with its vast underground cave system adorned with geological formations and artificial lighting. The site boasts the largest and longest cave system open to the public in India, featuring long passages, galleries and spacious caverns that occasionally contain fresh water. Visitors are advised to bring a torch or headlamp for better visibility as sticky mud may cause footwear loss. Additionally, one should carry water bottles due to stuffiness inside causing excessive sweating.
A very well maintained cave. It has sufficient lighting and oxygen inside and has directions that are clear so that one doesn't get lost inside the cave. Has ventilation ducts at few places to keep the air circulation at a good pace. The place is very neatly maintained and no plastic waste was found inside the cave. The formation of the rocks and everything looks so good and interesting if one is willing to explore and learn more about it. A good place to play scary house with your friends of course :) Important to take water bottles before going in as one would sweat a lot and feel thirsty in their journey. All in all a good place to visit to spend some quality time.

People who love adventures and rock formations, would certainly love to go to this place. Such a natural beauty. The cave is so deep, wide and long. It absolutely amazes you at every part with its deep trenches. There are places within the cave which are so narrow and the rocks are porous as the water keeps dripping through these rocks.
Please make sure to have nice footwear (sandals or gum boots) as you have grip and not hurt your feet. The whole tour would approx take 2 hours. You'll drain all your energy by the time you are back as the terrain is tough, long and, very suffocating. You end up profusely sweating. Carry some energy drinks and food to keep yourself hydrated and keep your energy levels high.
The sad part is about the maintenance by the governments. Though we have blowers and lights inside the cave, most of them are out of order and not functional which makes the journey tiring.

there is a very small waterfall present in the cave. Must visit

Superb experience. The Buddha statue outside the cave is really calming. The walk inside is out of the world. Really scary in few places. Be careful with your footwear as few places the mud is really sticky and many have lost their footwear. Carry a torch or headlamp for better visibility. There are lights inside. Carry a water bottle as it gets stuffy inside and you sweat a lot.

Ancient and undiscovered place. Very magical feeling once you go more and more inside. The air vents were not working at some places. Wearing shoes is advised as the pavement is uneven. Underground caves miles and miles long !
Amazing shapes and structures formed naturally over thousands of years by erosion, deposition, transfer of minerals by water, etc.
A must-visit place for many reasons, but one is rarity.
To make the best of your visit, be sure to take a very powerful torch because your phone LEDs are insufficient to see the details.
And wear well fitting shoes, because slippers/sandals are very dangerous for the terrain.
Carefully note or photograph every junction you pass, most have no English signs, and you can't phone for help as there is insufficient signal underground.
Not an enjoyable or safe place for naughty children or aged people though.

We traveled to Belum caves on a Saturday afternoon. The place does get a lot of tourists as it was quite busy Saturday.
The ticket is priced at ₹70 adults and ₹50 kids. They were surprisingly only accepting cash payment which is quite inconvenient, they should start card payments/UPI.
The caves are well maintained, have good air ventilation, well placed signs to follow. I wish the AP government authorities would keep dustbins inside the caves as people do carry water bottles and tend to throw them randomly. Do carry water bottles if possible it can can get quite humid and sweaty inside.
Belum caves are 3229m long and are the second largest natural caves in Indian subcontinent. Definitely recommend visiting it.
Improvement-
* Even though it’s mentioned Staircase is damaged people were still climbing on it. Please do fix the staircase as it’s not safe.
*Washrooms are are in a pitiable state! Requesting the authorities to take action and upgrade the facilities.
*Beautification of the overall place can be done too.
*Besides the caves the place was looking quite dull and make it more scenic with plants and good facilities.
* need good restaurants facilities also

Plus points : A magnificent creation of Nature worth visiting . The stalactites , stalagmites, courses and caverns were created over a period of millions of years , by an ancient flow of water through limestone and quartz . This is the second largest subterranean cave system in India .
Depth goes from 80ft to 120 ft . Air vents are provided at regular intervals . Photography is allowed .
Minus points : Being a Protected Monument under care of the State Government , more thought and sensitivity should have gone into its maintenance .
The garish colored lights are an eyesore marring the natural beauty of the rocks . The spiral stairway to get to the low point is shaky . Names of caves and Exit signs are painted directly on cave walls instead of on boards .
Fact file :
Entrance ticket : Rs70 per adult . Carpark :Rs20
Guides ( Telugu,Hindi,English) available .
Kids playground , basic toilets, a snack kiosk in premises .
Recommended : Carry water . As it gets very humid and sweaty inside, carry a hand towel too. Good walking shoes , to walk on uneven surfaces . Visit during cooler hours of the day and in dry , non-rainy season .
Reportedly, crowded on weekends .
Please do not break off stone bits to carry as souvenir . Please do not scribble/ scratch your initials on those ancient rocks . Please don’t litter . It was painful to see some tourists doing such things , during my visit.
Lets learn to respect shared heritages .

An amazing cave experience. Recommend every visitor traveling to city of Kurnool or Nandyal in State of Andhra Pradesh to take some time out and visit Belum Caves.
An advisory would be to carry Torch-light as there are zones which are very dim lit corners. A to Gaurav Buddhas statue adorns at entrance. The Caves are very well planned and our appreciation to the Team behind the concept and execution too.
The overall maintenance of Caves leaves a lot to be desired. A few zones had no AC and the places were hot and perspiring too. There were broken equipments like AC parts and broken light consoles that were lying in open and had not been moved out.

It was different experience to be in underground caves. Rock formations inside caves are really beautiful. Main drawback was feeling too much hot inside the caves due to more crowd. This temple was constructed by King Harihara Bukka Raya of the Sangama Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 15th century.[citation needed] It was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions.
One story of the site's origin is as follows: The sage Agastya wanted to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara on this site. However, the statue that was made could not be installed as the toe nail of the idol got broken. The sage was upset over this and performed a penance for Shiva. When Shiva appeared, he said the place suits Shiva better as it resembles Kailash. Agastya then requested Shiva to give the devotees a Parvathi Goddess as Lord Uma Maheswara in a single stone, which Shiva obliged.
A second story is as follows: Chitteppa, a devotee of Shiva, was worshiping Shiva and Shiva appeared to him as a tiger. Chitteppa understood that it was Lord Shiva in tiger form, and shouted Neganti Shivanu ne kanti (meaning: I saw Shiva I saw), and danced with joy. There is a cave called Chitteppa nearby. Sri Yaganti Uma Maheswara Temple is one of the few temples patronized by one of the great dynasties of India. Every year Maha Shivaratri is celebrated and a large number of devotees from all over Andhra Pradesh visit. Shiva, Parvati and Nandi are the main deities in this temple. Amazing temple to be visited, most of the time it’s crowded. Shiva is the main deity at this temple, once you come out of the darshan you will witness a huge Nandi statue. Just adjacent to the temple you will see a hill connecting from the shiva temple to this step hill. Once you climb the steep hill you will see Venkateshwara swamy. It is believed that Lord Venkateshwara stepped his foot 🦶 first here, Kadapa was his second and third is Tirumala. So the Poojari said that what ever we wish to happen in your life you can pray here and once it’s fulfilled we have to perform Pooja to the deity. Must visit temple.

There are few temples in this area of lord Shiva and other deities. One temple is on the ground and others are inside the caves, as you have to climb few steps to reach. Inside the the Shiva temple it is very vibrant and alive as you would be feeling like seating there for sometime. There are several shops outside. The whole area is surrounded by the rocky hills and ruins.

The Yaganti Temple is a temple of Shiva located in the Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh, India 1. It was constructed by King Harihara Bukka Raya of the Sangama Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 15th century 1. The temple was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions 1.
One story of the site’s origin is as follows: The sage Agastya wanted to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara on this site. However, the statue that was made could not be installed as the toe nail of the idol got broken. The sage was upset over this and performed a penance for Shiva. When Shiva appeared, he said the place suits Shiva better as it resembles Kailash. Agastya then requested Shiva to give the devotees a Parvathi Goddess as Lord Uma Maheswara in a single stone, which Shiva obliged 1.
The temple is renowned for its unique architecture and historical significance 2. It is a popular tourist destination and attracts a large number of devotees from all over Andhra Pradesh every year 3. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its Pushkarini, a small pond of water on the temple premises. Water flows into this Pushkarini from the bottom of the hill through the mouth of a Nandi (bull) 1. Devotees find that a holy bath in Pushkarini is highly beneficial 1.
If you are planning to visit the temple, you may want to check out the reviews on Tripadvisor3. I hope this helps!

Do visit the lord Venkateswara swamy temple and lord Shiva's cave as well.
Limited rooms to stay here but during week days you shd be able to get one. Free food was fine and you have limited option for food outside as well.

Om Namo umamaheswaraiah namah.... It's an ancient and historic Temple especially the Nandi situated here. As per Sri veera Bramham Gari kalagnanam, if Yaganti Nandi stand and move it will be sign of kaliyugam ending. For every 20 years the Nandi size will increase one inch which was Declared by Archeology Department of India. There are 2 famous pushkarinis in this Temple which was identified by Sri Aagastya mahamuni. There are 3 Famous caves named as Sri Venkateswara cave, Aagastya cave, and Belu caves. If you want to perform sparsha Darshanam to lord Uma maheswara u will take ticket cost of 75 rupees for each person. Entry ticket Rs. 10. If you want to visit this temple there are no direct bus facility. First you will reach Nandyal then you pick banagaipalle bus. Finally u want to reach Yaganti from banagaipalle choose autos is better than RTC Bus because no frequent buses. Autowala will charge Rs. 60 for a round trip between Banagaipalle to Yaganti.

The nearest town is Banaganapalli. Do visit the caves and learn about the history of the temple while you are here. It is very amusing. And the speciality here is the growing Nandi (bull) which is predicted to come to life and it is believed among the locals that when the stone turns to life, the world will end. It's the temple where Shiva is in the form of Uma Maheshwara. Do visit during Shivratri for the best experience possible.Oh and there's entry fee for the temple. It should be around 10 to 20 rupees.

The temple is very nice and beautiful. Preferable to visit at night time. The temple is very neat and clean. Don't forget to carry towel and pair of dress because I suggest you to bath in temple koneru.
Coming to negatives this temple is very near to Nandyal but there is no proper public transport service to this temple, you should opt a private vehicles like auto's which can easily take you to the temple.

The temple experience was unique; no cameras allowed inside, and there was some confusion at the entrance. Despite visiting during holidays, it wasn't too crowded. Opted for the special entrance at ₹50 per person to avoid the chaos. Mobile locker available, but it's advisable to keep belongings in the vehicle. A good temple overall, but be prepared for various charges.

Exceptionally well maintained... just last month they opened the "పుష్కరిణి " for a holy dip. Water in this పుష్కరిణి is so pure and crystal clear that you can see a 1 rupee coin at bottom which is 5 feet deep. This temple has been renovated and has excellent గోపురం and huge idols which welcome everyone... its surrounded by hills on three sides and the sunrise or sunset is stunningly beautiful. Please be aware that the places where you deposit your footwear and mobiles, they charge you double and have no shame in giving excuses.

Mahanandi Temple in Kurnool is a sacred haven that exudes serenity and spirituality. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by natural springs, it offers a tranquil atmosphere for devotees and tourists alike. The temple's stunning architecture and intricate carvings reflect the rich heritage of this ancient site.
What makes Mahanandi truly special is the natural water pool within the temple complex. Taking a dip in these holy waters is believed to cleanse the soul. The temple's priests are welcoming and guide visitors through the rituals, making the experience both spiritually enriching and culturally significant.
Whether you're seeking spiritual solace or just want to appreciate the beauty of this historic temple, Mahanandi is a place that leaves a lasting sense of peace and reverence. It's a must-visit destination in Kurnool that connects you to both the divine and the natural world.

Recently visited this temple and it was an amazing experience. The temple is located amid nallamalla forest. Beautiful place.
Highlights of the place are
✓the location of the temple, it's a superb place.
✓the ponds of the temple - the main pond is filled with fresh water all the time.
It's a swimming pool filled with the nature's water😊
✓ there are 2 more ponds outside of the temple which are beautiful too.
It's 18KM far from Nandyala/ Gajulapalle.
Road from Gajulapalle is not at all good. around 3 KM near to temple is completely pathetic, no road at all.
I have given 3 Star rating, only because of the temple's management.
Management of this temple is horrible, always money minded.
There is a free entry to this temple, but no one know unless specifically asks about it. Management at the entrance would lure you to take the 50/- Darshan ticket and they behave as if there were no free Darshan available. If someone asks about free Darshan, only then they will tell them about it, but again they try to convince that 50/- entry is better than the free one.
If someone, after all their manipulation, enters the free line, he/she will definitely face discrimination in treatment and behaviour of the management through out the way.
Even priests at each temple ( there are several temples along main Lord Shiva temple) try to make every one to offer money or purchase Divas etc items.
House keeping persons also rude.
There is a counter at the entrance to deposit mobiles, cameras, as they don't allow them, however I saw people carrying mobiles inside because of the money power.
Overall the temple is awesome, but the management is the worst.

1500 year old temple. About 20 kms from Nandyal, in the Nallamala hills. Three holy ponds are in the temple, devotees are taking bath and worship Lord Shiva. Better to have Dharsan from 4.30 A.M, to 7.00 A.M,(suprabhata seva and Sparsha dharsan i.e., Devotees can touch the deity). For these sevas tickets can be obtained in the temple office counter by paying the prescribed amount. The holy ponds are well maintained. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple.

Everything is good but the temple authorities and staff are making it as a business on the name of god. They blocked the free darshan lines and made everyone pay for darshan, there is a separate amount for visiting the garbhagudi and separate amount for archana along with separate charges for basic darshan. Even though it wasn’t busy on a Saturday during the karthika month, they didn’t allow anyone to have free darshan.

There are three darshan tickets: Rs.150, 300 & Rs.500 VIP Sparshan darshan where you can touch the lingam (not available always). The free darshan available can take time sometimes but usually it takes around the same time as sheegrah darshan.

This temple is very old and one of the jyotirlingam out of 12. Temple architecture is superb. This temple was famous at approximately 4th century. Devotees will get peaceful mind while roaming in this temple. Very huge crowd. There are some tickets according to price, free, 150/-Rs, 300/-Rs and VIP 500/-Rs. This is the only temple where we can see sri saila mallikarjuna lingam and brahmarambika Devi sakthi peetam in one temple premises. This temple is under maintained and worshipped by many kings like sathavahanulu, yakshwakulu, Vishnukundinulu, kadambulu, pallavulu, cholulu, rastrakutulu, chanakyalu, kakathiyulu, reddy rajulu, vijayanagara rajulu, maharastrulu. Every devote must be visit Sri sailam pilgrim. There is no hotels near temple. There are many community blocks located here for providing the rooms. Like kapu, reddy, balija etc. After reaching Sri sailam need to go according to the community block. Community is doing very late for allocation of room. Always they say it's full. Time may Take hours, we fed up for rooms, finally we went to sunnipenta village and we took the hotel room. It's 10 kilometres from srisailam Bus stand. Busses available and may be fare is approximately 30/-Rs per person, based on bus type. Really worst management, If first time going really better to understand the situation first, otherwise really they will get struggle. After visiting temple devotees must watch other temples also like sakshi ganapati, hatakeswara devalayam, phaladhara panchadara, ista kameswari alayam, sikareswaram temple, sri bayalu verabadraswamy and many more temples. But local share auto charging 200/-Rs per person to visit these 5 temples, remaining temples are different directions and little far.

This dam is on the river krishna , in kurnool district of ANDHRA PRADESH .
This is the second time i have visited . Earlier I visited in 1983. Lot of changes can be seen .
Visited on Friday and the , tourists were also less
Maintainence is required as far as to tourism ASPECT is concerned .
Since water was not sufficient in the reservoir, all the gates were closed.
Dam was dry .
For photo shoot it was okay .
Good scenic pictures can be taken .
Traffic was heavy as it is also the bus route from hyderabad .
Over all I liked it

Good viewpoint on AP side. Offers mesmerizing view of the reservoir as well as downstream.
Avoid visit during summer months as it's extremely hot.

We can see the reservoir of Srisailam Dam. One of the best place to visit in Srisailam. We can go here by three ways one is by steps and second one is by rope way and third one is by road. Three things will have different experiences. If we go by steps or rope way you need to travel by boat to go near to the dam.

Quite a view but in summers mostly there's no water. It's kind of dry. Best time is to visit in rainy season and in the evening.

The drive to this picturesque destination is nothing short of awe-inspiring, taking you through lush forests and winding roads that make the journey itself an adventure.

Good place with greenary and tree shade to have a good distant view of Srisailam Dam. There is a small cafeteria serving lemon soda and other cool drinks.
Beware of monkeys nearby ready to snatch eatables from your hands.

Its like most of govt services. We had to leave one day before though had paid for 3 nights. Services needs lot of improvements , maintenance too . For movement inside resort an e-vehicle / wheelchair must be provided immediately to assist older people/ handicapped ones.

The entry was large enough to get in, a good size beach for a family. It will be a Short walk to the beach and bus stop out front of the .ain entrance but only autos are available as per my knowledge, general store across the road.
All was good.
so very handy for meals in the stalls nearby. Also had a general store across the road. Wasn't far from the Beach area, so close for the sunset viewing etc. Off street parking near to the beach .. timings were limited to 6 pm in the evening everyday but they made us leave the beach a bit early in the evening at 5.30 pm... Overall experience was good.. police and the rescue team will monitor the movement in the beach..

This beach is good but very poorly maintained. You can enjoy with your family and friends. Very crowded too. It could be better if they have water sports also. No boating and water games available. You can find some street food also to enjoy. We had a lot fun with family.

A good beach to visit with family and friends. Not too deep that anyone can go till the red flag is placed for safety purposes. A good breeze with cool weather. And buggy are good to ride, Charging 100 per person a jolly ride across the beach.

One of the cleanest beach in Andhra Pradesh. Beach is located in the Bay of Bengal and approx 50 miles from Guntur.
A nice beach to visit. Waves are not that big so anyone can enjoy. Weather is very pleasant. Water is crystal clear.

The beach is more lively with the surveillance of the police all the day ( working hours). It's more of a family friendly beach to have fun and they have changing rooms for those who wants to play in water! Good sea food but Little pricy

Nice beach with lot of crowd and all snacks items available here the fish we get here is not so good i suggest u to eat in only selected Fish stalls
Beach is protected by Police and Red flags are at every Danger point which we shouldn't cross the water this beach is not much safe because of the local people make nonsense and disturbance to tourist i suggest u to visit Vodarevu beach which is located near chirala which is so near to suryalanka beach

I feel for family people it is good... because of horse riding .....and little security announcements will be there...waves are good compared with ramapuram beach, and vodarevu beach...and especially no smell...

Average experience as the beach was too much crowded the reason they made most part of the beach restricted not sure if its private property
Resort was available not sure about the experience but beach side view would be good
Quad bike ride available there wasn't any horse riding
Lots of food stalls makes this place worst as the people eat and throw everything on the beach sand itself which is pathetic
Free open arena parking available, You can find food stalls at the entrance / main walk way
Almost zero Maintenance. Just warning announcements were given on mic other than that staff won't be do anything
HUMBLE REQUEST: For God's sake do not litter plastic here 🙏 Even if you carry plastic with you try to dispose it in bins nearby. I was shocked by looking at lots of plastic on connecting roads ( which those senseless people thrown after enjoying their stay ) BE RESPONSIBLE AT LEAST WHEN YOU VISIT PLACES LIKE THESE 🙏

Weekend Getaway from Hyderabad..
But lost its charm, Humans throwing garbage all through the beach has damaged the beach a lot.
Weekends it will be as crowded seen in the pics..you have to take a walk on the beach to left or right to a place for peaceful experience...
You can bring your booze and have booze at the parking spaces ...not available at the beach...A decent Bar is located on the way to beach try to get from that bar...Fried fish is so cheap here and tasty as well if you are sea food lover...

One of the beach close to Vijayawada and Hyderabad also. Not a clean beach. So many garbage everywhere on beach , not a good place to seat on the beach. It's a small beach compared to Chirala beach and also Chirala beach is much cleaner beach . There aren't any place to stay near suryalanka beach except for aptdc haritha resort. Overall if you want to have a good time at a beach better visit Chirala beach which is just 15-20Km from here , you will have a much better time.

Best place to have a weekend outing
Place has improved a lot from 2010-2024
In 2010 there is no proper shops to buy things that are required at the beach
But now there are plenty of shops to get the swim wear but a bit on higher side
Eateries are also opened next to beach. Taste is good. Do try prawns and local sea fish.
We can have activities like dart bikes, camel rides, horse rides
Prices may vary from 50-200 per person as we should bargain our best. It's better to have an experience of dart bikes. It's good and fun
Beach is calm and no high tides present
The best option is that we have haritha resort right on the beach so book them if you hate travelling to beach from your hotel
