The temple is good. It's a Shivan temple with great history. Inside the temple one more siddhar temple was there. His name is karuvurar he is the guru of Raja Raja cholan. During night time they do nithya Pooja. I got goosebumps when I saw it for the first time. They have a small Lilly pond inside the natrajan mandabam.

(21/2/22), beautiful temple in my locality it was renovated last couple years. The main god here is shiva surrounded by lord ganesh, murugan, Amman, Brahma, 63 nayanmargal etc. It's a bit big temple we can see separate Mandapam for karuvurar. This temple has its own history, this place was once a forest and it is mostly used for pasture, one day the cow which was grazing went straight to snake pit nearby, cow poured it's milk on pit and where the lord Shiva found and that place was made as temple by the locality and consideration as most powerful. This story can be also found in entrance of kodi maram or inside their is a sculpture which describes the history of this temple

While walking beside compound wall you can feel the cool breez from trees. Even cows also cultivated here. We can find here what we missed in our traditional life. There is a Hindu temple called Anuvavi Subramanian Temple located near Periyathadagam in Coimbatore. To reach the temple from Coimbatore, one must take Thadagam Road and turn left after traveling approximately 2.50km. The temple can be accessed by climbing around 300 steps or by using the available bus service. The steps are not steep, and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the temple.
One of the best place to visit. This place is very peaceful. Very calm and silent amidst the nature you will get lost into divinity ✨

Anu + Vavi ( Anuman + Ootru) is Lord Murugan who created a water source to help anumar to satisfy his thirst while carrying the sanjeevi Hill. This temple has Lord Murugan along Valli & Deivanai at tier 1 level and at tier 2 level Arunajalasesvarar temple is situated.
Needs to walk 500 steps to reach the temple. Little steep near the temple. Enough rest Places are there.
Temple is neatly maintained, and all steps are well laid. The pathway to the temple is beautiful.
Closes at 6 pm as there were instances of Elephant crossing at the downhill.
On the way to the Hill temple, the left side there is a vanakaruparayan temple. Need to walk a little distance.
Very good temple to visit during the evening with family. Temple is surrounded by dense forest.
Visited on Sunday evening and not much crowded.
Lots of parking available with Rs.20 charged for car.

This temple is located near Chinna Thadagam, it is a hidden gem.
To reach the temple we need to climb 500 steps as it's not accessible by road. The temple is open from 8 am to 6 pm, I highly recommend visiting within these hours. Beyond the designated timings, the path becomes an active animal crossing area, and encounters with elephants are possible.
The main deity of the temple is Lord Murugan, but there is also a dedicated shrine for Lord Shiva. To reach the shrine, we have to climb an additional 100 steps from Murugan temple.
I was pleasantly surprised by the temple's commitment to sustainable practices, they utilise solar energy, which is truly commendable.
The temple is also well-maintained and kept clean. There is ample parking available, and a small parking fee is charged.
The highlight of this temple is the breathtaking view of the Western Ghats. You can enjoy the scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere. It's truly a refreshing escape from the noise and chaos of everyday life.
If you're using public transport, you can take bus number 11A, which runs from Ukkadam to Anuvavi Kovil, and it conveniently stops near the temple.
Overall, my visit to this temple was a fulfilling experience.

Nestled amidst the serene Anuvavi Hills in Periya Thadagam, just on the outskirts of Coimbatore, lies the enchanting Anubhavi Subramaniar Temple. Steeped in history and shrouded in mystique, this temple holds a special place in the hearts of devotees and travelers alike.
Legend has it that the sanctum sanctorum of this temple was erected by none other than Karikala Chola during the early Christian Era, adding layers of antiquity to its already captivating aura. But it's not just the historical significance that draws people here; it's the tales of divine intervention and spiritual awakening that truly capture the imagination.
One such tale tells of Sri Anjaneyar, who, feeling parched during his journey with the Sanjeevi mount, sought solace and relief in the divine presence of Lord Muruga at this very hill. In response to his plea, Lord Muruga, with a stroke of his Vel, created a spring from which water flowed abundantly, quenching Sri Anjaneyar's thirst. To this day, the origin of this miraculous spring remains a mystery, adding an air of mysticism to the temple grounds. No wonder it's revered as Hanumakumaran Malai, a testament to the divine interconnections between gods and devotees.
Visitors to the temple are greeted not only by its rich history and spiritual significance but also by the breathtaking scenery that surrounds it. The temple's location amidst verdant hills provides a picturesque backdrop for moments of contemplation and introspection.
At the heart of the temple lies the sanctum of Lord Murugan, drawing devotees from far and wide to seek blessings and solace. Additionally, the presence of the Arunachaleswara sanctum atop the Lord Murugan sanctum adds another layer of spiritual depth to the experience.
While reaching the temple might require a climb of 500 steps, the journey is well worth it. Not only are the steps easily navigable, but they also offer glimpses of natural wonders, including the elixir pouring from the mountain and the discovery of a sittar cave along the way, inviting visitors to connect with the divine and the natural world in equal measure.
Moreover, the temple's tranquil ambiance, punctuated by the melodic chirping of birds and the soothing sounds of nature, creates an atmosphere conducive to meditation and reflection, making it a perfect retreat for weary souls seeking solace and serenity.
Must visit !

The intricate carvings and colorful sculptures that adorn the temple's walls are nothing short of awe-inspiring.
The attention to detail is remarkable, and it's evident that the artisans put their heart and soul into creating this masterpiece.
The temple's gopuram (tower) is a magnificent sight to behold, with its towering height and vibrant colors.
The spiritual atmosphere within the temple is palpable. The priests and temple staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enriching.
The rituals and ceremonies conducted at the temple are a testament to the deep-rooted traditions of South India, and witnessing them was a privilege.

I went early Morning around 7 and it was not crowded. I parked the car at the foothill and hiked all the way up. Not gonna lie, it was a tough hike but plenty of shades to sit and enjoy the flowers and the animals. Be careful with the bags though, there are aggressive gang of monkeys that nearly got my bag away. I had to put my bag under my shirt in order for them to leave me. Even then one of them was trying it's best. They ar every bold. You can also drive up too. There is a car park up the hill with plenty of room. The temple itself is very nice too. I recommend going in the mornings or evenings.

We friends (group of 6) happened to visit this temple on 2nd Sep 2023 (Saturday). We struggled hard to reach the temple top through public transport. The temple management has 2 buses, which they would eventually take only if the head count is more than 20 for a bus. So we had to wait for an hour to get started from the base.
So I would recommend either going with self transport or taking the foot path.
Once you reach the temple, the place is surreal. The temple is well maintained by the management. Wash room facilities available at the top. I heard that the devotees are offered with Anna Prasadham as well.

By Trek one has to climb 1300 foot steps to reach the hill top, at the foot of the hills witness Idumban, and then proceed, in route there is Aathi Vinayagar temple, then move to the top to witness the divine supremacy of the Siragiri Lord Murugan.
After the Moolavar sannidhi, there are Valli - Deiyvanai temple, followed by Pinnakau Siddhar cave.
Temple architecture is grand, premises are clean and neat, a spectacular view of Erode - Coimbatore can be seen from hill top, also beware of monkeys you can see them more often trying to grab your eatbles.

The Arulmigu Avinashi Lingeshwarar Temple is a Hindu temple in the Kongu region, featuring stepped towers and carved stone pillars. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is an ancient temple with a 1000-2000 year old history and is the first temple in this region. The architecture of the temple is mesmerizing and it has well-maintained surroundings with plenty of parking space.
This temple is situated 40 km from Coimbatore and about 14 km from Tirupur.
Here Shiva is worshipped as Avinasiappar, and is represented by the lingam. His consort Parvati is depicted as Karunambigai.

The Brahmotsavam festival is celebrated during the day of the Magam (February – March) is the most prominent festival. The Pathiri tree blossoms only during Brahmotsavam and never before or later.
As per Hindu legend, two boys of eight years of age took a dip in a tank when a crocodile swallowed one of them. Sundarar on his way to Tiruvanchikulam heard the incident and sung praises of Shiva in the temple. The boy was miraculously rescued from the clutches of a crocodile and this event is commemorated during the Mudalai Vaai Pillai Utsavam on Panguni Uththiram. There is a shrine to Sundarar on the banks of the temple tank. Since the boy came out of crocodile’s mouth, the place is called Pukkoliyur.
Brahma is said to have worshipped the Shiva here for hundred years. The elephant of Indiran, Iravadham is said to have worshipped at this temple for twelve years.

Anjaneyar Temple Namakkal
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Sri Anjaneyar temple in Namakkal is the most popular and revered Lord Hanuman temple in Tamilnadu. The 18 feet majestic deity with rudraksha mala in folded hands facing Lord Narasimha Perumal temple at the base of hill, a short distance away. The deity has no roof but there is a large entrance mandapam in front. Abhisheka Pooja at around 11 am is very eloborate.

We worshipped Lord Lakshmi Narasimhar and Anjaneyar. Priests were polite and did Aarathi patiently. But the devotees were not patient and everyone wanted to jump the queue. The shops before Anjaneyar temple have encroached the road and the municipality administration didn’t bother to remove them.

A medieval architecture marvel in the middle of bustling city.
It’s quite rare to find a temple dedicated for Narasimhar, one of the avatars of lord Vishnu.
With intricate craftsmanship of the doors depicting the way of living, carefully carved sculptures adorning walls and stupas, the way rocks were cut to perfectly align with adjoining mountain one could only stand and admire.
Great place to calm oneself and embrace spirituality.

There are many temples in TN where the architecture is awesome. This temple is one such marvel. Caves are carved, can you imagine that. Even today we don't have the technology to carve caves/rocks. Go there and get blessings from Nrusingha and especially our mother, Naamagiri Thaayar

This is a must visit temple in Namakkal... Lord Narsimha's vigraha is massive and the temple and garbagriha has a very ancient look... When crowded, the garbhagriha becomes hot and stifling but on normal days, the temple is quiet and peaceful... This temple is inside the rock fort and in front of the Namakkal Anjaneyar temple...

One of the most astonishing Narasimha temples in the whole of India, owing to the mystical history of the Narasimha deity appearing Himself out of the rock, which is nothing but a giant shaligrama. Very peaceful and spiritually charging atmosphere. Right opposite the temple there is a huge Hanuman deity which is still miraculously increasing in size, but let the archakas themselves tell you why this is happening :). It is a must visit! (photos of the main deity are not allowed, so I post pics of some other places withing the temple compound.

A relatively small Murugan temple in the heart of Thindal. Very neatly kept temple. From the main car parking one has to climb around 100 steps to reach the temple. There is also a small way, where car can go for people who can't climb the steps. Parking fee is 20 Rs. The main deity is lord Murugan. There is also a seperate shrine for muruga and his two concerts. There is also a Vinayagar shrine. The corridor around the temple is quite broad. A peaceful place. I am not aware of the history of the temple, but it is a relatively new temple.

Hilltop Hindu temple featuring a colourful tower & ornate stone carvings, plus panoramic city views.
I have been visiting this temple for years! I used to climb up the hill thru steps with my cousins and was waiting to make the road to the hill. After that hardly been thru waking and traveling up the hill thru a car and missing lot of fun while we used to walk. Another peaceful temple and environment. If you want to have good dharshan, get special ticket and get in. Common queue will move fast and hardly you can see the god statue as its dark inside the room. In common queue be careful while climbing on the platform which is made to see the god. Old people may have hard time! Stay there form sometime to feel the breeze and view from the hill which is so beautiful 😍

I recently visited the Arthanareeswarar Temple and it was thoroughly impressed by the beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere of the temple. The main shrine dedicated to Shiva combined with his consort Parvati was a sight to behold, with intricate carvings and stunning details.
I also appreciated the cleanliness and maintenance of the temple grounds, as well as the helpful and friendly staff who were on hand to answer any questions and guide visitors.
In addition to the main shrine, the temple also had several smaller shrines dedicated to various deities, as well as a large pond that added to the serene atmosphere of the place.
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Arthanareeswarar Temple to anyone looking to experience the rich cultural and spiritual history of the region. It is a truly beautiful and peaceful place that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

On 06.07.2023 morning had dharshan of Lord Arthanareeshwer temple at Tiruchengode. Situated at the top of a hill one of the most beautiful temple having the best sculptures. The fronts mantap roof is having beautiful stone carvings. Ammaiyappar mantap on a tortoise is so nice to see. Those who are interested in architecture a must place to visit. The temple is maintained very neatly. Good approach road is there to reach the temple by vehicles. The temple is on the Namakkal to Erode NH at Tiruchengode very easily accessible. Had a very good experience.
Here Lord Siva shared his body with Parvathi is giving Dhatshan as Arthanareeshwar and the deity is decorated with dhoty and saree with flowers and only face with 50 : 50 of Lord Siva and Parvathi is not visible due to darkness in karuvarai. Aarathi is also not helpful. Lighting problem is there.
Also for Rs 25 dharshan lot of space is allowed and a small space allowed for free dharshan in the back which is violation of court guidelines. This discrimination to be avoided .
Hope people concerned may do something.

I visited the temple with my family this morning around 9 am. The temple on the hill has separate paths for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, making it convenient to reach. The parking facilities are ample, and we had no trouble finding a spot. The temple had a minimal crowd, allowing us to peacefully pray to all the gods. We opted for the special dharisanam, purchasing tickets at a reasonable cost of 25 per person. It's a great place to visit with family, and we felt a positive vibe. Just a heads up, there are monkeys around, so be cautious.

The temple is situated on the hillock which has two modes of reachability - climb 1100 odd steps or drive uphill to the temple. Very serene atmosphere and usually not crowded. If tou decide to climb the steps, start at 5 in the morning which is ideal. You can enjoy the peaceful nature of the surroundings. It's definitely a sight to see the view of the Tiruchengode town lit up during the ascent in the morning. The temple opens by 6 in the morning and you can reach by walk within one hour. Once you have the Darshan don't forget to ask the priest on the history of ardhanarishvara and chengottuvelavan.

Perfect peaceful place in Tiruchengode. This place is considered to be 2000years old. Have your eye's on the temple statues - it will be great and detailed. You'll also get better natural views. Sunday's will receive more visitor here. You could also see cows and monkey's over here. Be cautious with monkey's when you carry any plastic bags. But the maintenance by the temple's management is non-sense. They just dump waste from the temple in the hill land itself. The waste includes plastic wrappers.😠.

About the temple, Sri Arthanāreeswarā temple, also known as Thirukodimāda Chenkundrūr, is an ancient Hindu temple, located in Tiruchengode, in the southern Indian state of tamil nadu. The temple is dedicated to Arthanadheeshwarar, a form of the Hindu deity shiva combined with his consort parvati. Also called as Madhorubagan and Ammaiyappan (mother-father). The famous Chenkottu Velavar Temple, dedicated to Lord murugan, is also situated on the same hill. Also, it is one of the shrines of the 275 paadal pettra sthalam praised in the Thevaram hymns of the Saivite saints. The sacred hill is about 650 ft. high, and a climb of 1156 steps leads worshippers to the temple at its peak. The hill is called 'Nagagiri' in the Thevaram hymns and is also known by many other names like Chemmalai, Panimalai, Nandimalai, Uragaverpu. The hill contains about 350 acres of land, which lies 2000 ft about sea level. Highly recommended to visit in the early morning.

👌😎This is by far the coolest temple I've ever gone to. The temple is located in a hill. Went to this place with my relative using a car and it was just 2 km (the road to reach the top).
Once we went to the top, I saw that the temple was filled with 𝗔 𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗞𝗘𝗬𝗦. Roaming here and there, they were everywhere! Even when we were doing an archanai, the monkeys were looking for food!
Outside the temple, there were 2 gift shops where we could buy things ranging from keychains to pillows. Overall, it was an amazing journey and definetely worth the hours I spent in the car!😄🐒

One of the well maintained temples. Usually people visit here and book spots for marriage. In a single day, around 15 to 20 marriages are happening here. This way from bottom to top of the hill is awesome for view and the climate. I suggest you visit early in the morning, so that the view of sunrise will be awesome from the top of the hill.

Lord shiva as Arthanaareeswarar in temple is a sight to behold. Temple is open upto 2pm but try to go before 12 as queue might slow down after 12pm due to Pooja rituals at 1pm.
We took a special ticket to watch the deity from a nearby distance. This temple is special for newly married couples and they are allowed to exchange garlands infront of the deity outside of the sanctum.
The temple and its architecture details were so good and there will be two things to disturb you - one is monkey and the other is management staffs inside the temple. Staffs are always shouting and there is no peace observed while praying eventhough if you have a special entrance ticket. Priority is always given for VIPs and the people they know and the people who work there.
Apart from these its a must visit temple 👍🏻
There are buses plying to the hill temple near the temples’s car shed and you could also drive by your own vehicle with an entry fee of 20.
Alternatively you could climb using the steps but make sure to start earlier to avoid harsh sun. Carry water bottles with you and beware of monkeys.

You can pass 2-3 hours visiting this beautiful temple when you are visiting Salem as a tourist. It is one of the best places to visit in Salem. There are 1008 Siva lingams, some Murugan temples, and a Perumal temple. You can see the tremendous Siva lingam on the top of the hill. And I enjoyed that the monkeys are climbing the temples & sitting near the lingams. Finally, each Siva lingam has
a name. It is an amazing thing I had seen.

Immaculate and serene ambiance with a deeply devotional atmosphere. The 1008 Shiva Lingams were breathtaking, and the stone artistry of Murugan, Vinayagar, Iyyappan, Andal, and the grand Nandhi was truly remarkable. A must-visit for anyone seeking spiritual solace amidst beauty. Free Restrooms also available- neat and clean. Drinking Water also available.

We stopped by this temple when driving to chennai from coimbatore this week....this temple falls on the left of the road and they had a guiness world record dance competition going on that day so we were seeing a lot of crowd but still managed to get darshan of the main preceding deity of Sri Rajarajeshwari ma
Loved the climb to the temple but it was extremely hot for December....the 1008 lingams was a good divine touch

Good place to visit once. The main shiv Lingappa is extremely huge. Good parking. But I couldn’t find washrooms. All boards are in Tamil and people don’t speak any other language other than Tamil which is a centuries old issue in TN, thus one star less, rest all good

Kancha malai : kalanginathar siddhar temple at the food hills of kancha malai. One of the finest temple surrounded with so many natural wells. Very calm place surrounded by hills and a nice peaceful temple for salem locals. Could not visit the hill top where kalanginatha siddhar did meditation. Kalanginatha siddhar student of Thirumoolar came to kanchamalai in search of some herbal along with his guru Thirumoolar. Thirumoolar asked his disciple to cook food and gone for bath. While cooking rice, he could not find any utensil to mix and hence broke the branch of nearby tree and mixed the rice. After some time the rice becomes black and fearing his guru he ate all the cooked food. He become very young and when his guru Thirumoolar enquired about his disciple he narrated the incident. Thirumoolar immediately understood the branch of the tree is Kaya kalpa and with that a person can live young for years. It is believed even now that this hill has several herbs and the locals take bath in the natural wells on the belief that it has curative powers.

It's the temple on the outskirts of Salem. Monkey menace near the temple areas. Very large area around the temple and near the natural area and hill. The temple is not maintained in a systematic way and surrounded by beggars and Filth. A siddhar temple must be kept clean and must be conducive for meditation

Yercaud is a charming hill station situated in the southern part of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located in the Shevaroy Hills that are well-known for their coffee, fruit, spice plantations and also famous for orange groves. The town has a beautiful lake called Yercaud Lake that offers boating experience to its visitors and is surrounded by lush gardens and woods.
Grange TreeTop Adventure offers an exhilarating experience for visitors looking for adventure in a jungle setting. The park offers multiple ropes courses and zip-lining through the trees, making it perfect for those seeking excitement. The high rope course is especially adventurous, with staff providing guidance and encouragement throughout the entire task. This place is highly recommended to anyone who wants to try something new while visiting Yercaud.
Good to see the place they keep clean & neat.
Kept something about realistic inside to the nature.
Prices are very compact comparing to the next doors of Sky Park.
Less in adventures play but made satisfactory.
They have Low Rope play for Kids - Price 300/- per head.
High Rope play for Adults - Rs. 400/- per head.
Zip line is there for 100 Mtrs for Kids with safety measures & a guide guides in all activity.
Must try before entering into high pay adventure parks.
No crowds - Kids enjoy very well.

Me and my wife tried the zipline. Their Zipline is the best in Yercaud. This is relatively costlier (300) when compared to Poppy Hills (Costs 200). But it is very worth the extra price and it is located in a very scenic place. For Adventure zipline, I highly recommend this place.

Grange Adventure activities were enjoyed thoroughly by the kids. Though some of the activities were not available, the kids enjoyed the Rope course, Zip line and Archery. To use the ATV (The All Terrain Vehicle) we were asked to drive in our car, to a place short distance away from the Grange Resort, which was unacceptable. The overall maintenance of the resort and the upkeep of the equipment needs a immediate look into. The equipment looked unimpressive, rusty and old. The charges are ok. The staff seemed experienced to handle any eventuality. There was a very dirty pond with filthy water, abandoned and another dirty pond with unused boats. But for this poor maintenance and upkeep, it deserves better score than 3 stars.

Good place for rope course adventure games. The kid's course is 300/- for 7 rope walkways and the adult's course is 400/- for 8 rope walkways. Not much else though. Kids have water boats, archery and shooting but that looks overpriced. GST is extra.
No parking is available so need to park on the road. Rope courses are good and similar to Poppy Hills.

The stone structure offers stunning vistas of the city of Salem and the breathtaking sunset. I'll never travel to Bengaluru without this trip planner again
The Mettur Dam is a grand hydroelectric dam that offers picturesque vistas of the surrounding mountains. The area around the dam is dotted with parks and playgrounds that are perfect for families to enjoy. This impressive construction spans a large river, harnessing its power to generate electricity while providing an awe-inspiring sight for visitors. The nearby green spaces provide ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as picnics and sports, ensuring there's something for everyone to relish in this wonderful location.
Kiliyur Falls is a majestic waterfall located at the end of a steep and forested hiking trail. It is most impressive after the monsoon season when water flows heavily. Visitors are advised to carry their own water bottles as it requires descending around 500 steps to reach the falls, which can be tiring. Although there are shops along the way, they can be expensive and it's recommended to bring your own snacks. The parking fee for cars is Rs. 50.
I have been to yercadu before, but never got a chance to visit kiliyur Falls, the road while lead to the falls was so scary and it was a tough terrain and narrow road everywhere, while going down for the falls not a big deal, but while returning back we have to go up for the yercadu main spot, that too on that day too much traffic and so adventurous for us the whole up and down driving, then for vehicles they charge 50rs /car. 😎If you want to learn and experience new kind of adventure in driving in this terrain is not at all a good advice. Who have experience better they drive while returning atleast.
After reaching the parking, we need to do stares to reach the falls area, it's a complete workout thing, it was so crowded and drizzling too. You have to used the iron staecase to go down and use the same to reach up it's a complete cardio workout, I don't prefer this for aged ones, for them it may be difficult, if workout is routine then not a problem.
Such a messy day it was getting out for the falls, parking, cardio for the falls then rain with that have to incline back to up to exit this falls road. Wear a mask because it will be crowded.

Just opposite to Lake goes a 3 km long narrow road.😏
Around 50 cars can be parked, charged 50₹, parking on owners risk, rest room available in parking with extra 10₹😔😟
Very steep 250 steps will give a guaranteed view, even the falls is very steep.😎
very little space for bathing since it is covered by private lands, even a part of the falls is inside a private land.😈
Elderly people who can climb a floor of 20 steps without rest can go, it is just 10 floors height. 3 folds of the steel steps in photo will get you there. Orthopaedic patients may avoid. 🌚
Waters were very dirty, you can't expect water to fell on you like any other falls, just a quick bath and scenic views would be great. 😇

Kiliyur falls has a good view for photography but provides a disappointing experience , We need to scale down 200 steps to go down. In some stretch there is no hand rail and have risk of falling. Steps are little big which makes it difficult to climb and step down. Few areas connected with steel ladder which is poorly maintained. One snacks shop in between occupies half the space in the walk way. No proper approach in the falls tover take bath, neither they have protection to stand and take bath.Slippers rocks and no fall protection. Entire falls is occupied my boys and men and not suitable for ladies to take bath. Its a total men's world. However one good thing is that the falls looks awesome with step by step flow of water and the natural scenery you can view while going through the steps. Can visit once . But for a family it will definitely be tiresome and disappointing. Authorities need to provide proper hand rail and fall protection
Car parking cost 50/-
Bike parking cost 15/-

Please don't throw trash, bottles over there

We went on weekdays due to which we didn't find any crowds there. Very peaceful place and if someone wants they can take a bath too.

Good trekking experience. Lots of steps to climb down with cement steps and iron step ladders. All covered with dry leaves looking very natural. Getting down was tiring, and climbing up back was very tiring. Need about 45 mins in total.
Aged people, pregnant women and very young kids need to take precautions before getting down to see the falls.
No water in the month of March end due to less rains. Heard that water falls from June till January due to rain.
Only parking ticket needed.

The roads heading to falls was quite messy. It will be better if u carry water bottle since the falls is being located downwards of around 500 steps. The time I have visited was Feb wherein water was less, but that doesn't affect the enjoyment we had in the falls. It was so peaceful and had gud time with friends.
Parking for car : they charged 50rs and it would be better if u take ur own snacks...since while climbing up, it will tired after taking bath in falls and the shops which are located along the steps are costly. We had 3 plain 5rs maagie which costs 150. So, best advice to carry your own snacks and water bottles.

A wonderful place with some trekking and relaxing moments. To reach the water falls you had to walk for at least 200 mts and another. 100 steps so please plan accordingly. The Servaraayan Temple is a Hindu temple located in a small cave atop a mountainous region. The location provides breathtaking panoramic views and there are some enjoyable rides for visitors. The temple itself is compact and can only be entered by bending down due to its narrow structure. It houses an idol of Lord Servaraayan and Goddess Cauveri, making it a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus. Additionally, the surrounding open ground makes it an ideal spot for families to spend quality time together.

Sri Male Mahadeshwara swamy is incarnation of Shiva. Shiva himself stayed in the temple’s garbhagriha in the form of swayambhu linga.
Sri mahadeshwara swamy is seen riding on tiger, hence the name "huli vahana".
He performed miracles and worked to save the saints and others villagers who lived in the proximity. The unending miracle sagas are sung by the localities in their village folk songs in the Janapada style Kamsale. The seven hills range collectively called as Male Mahadeshwara betta.

It will be better to book online only during holiday times. God Mahadeshwara looks amazing. You will forget all your external thoughts once you enter near Garbagudi. Must visit holy place.

A wooded area with elephants leads to this serene hilltop housing a temple & a big rock.
A great off-road experience for a driver or a rider. Mostly open in weekends .Opens only after 9am for public entry and closes by 6pm.About 8kms of off-road to reach the view point and temple. Please carry water and do not litter the place. The view from top is beautiful.

A very beautiful place one must visit, it's a forest area and entry is restricted, road to the top is bumpy, temple is open only on Saturday mornings. There are two view points, scenery is amazing

Nice place to visit for half day trip.
There is one beautiful old temple of Sri Ranganatha Swami, which built under/ beside of one rock. There is one small kalyani (pond) at the another side of hill top.
There is no proper tar road to the hill top.
The path is full off rocks.
This hill is in between elephent path.
So the traveller has to be careful about elephants/animals.
The place is most suitable to trekkers/off road riders/ drivers. I enjoyed my off road driving in my alto even.. 😍😍🤘
Loved the place.. 😍

Great ride and off-roading experience. If it rains, please think twice as the off-roading will be muddy. We visited on 1st May and you try to be there around 9AM. The gate keeper comes around 9AM. No shops around so have your water bottles with you ready. It’s inside the elephant sanctuary, so do not honk or litter the place. Try to visit with almost caution as you will find elephant dungs all around.

The top provide a beautiful view. Things to know before going.
1. There is a forest check post that closes around 4 pm depending on crowd, rain prediction etc.
2. You have to enter your bike/car details and phone number before moving forward.
3.The last 4 km from the check post is completely off road with a bit difficult terrain to ride.
4. If you are a new rider please don't go.

Fantastic view from the top, all around. There is also a temple at the top. No food or drink available nearby. The road from the base to the top is completely offroad though it can be done by two wheeler or cars. Need to pay the forest guard to be allowed to go up.

One of best bike rides experienced this year.. They have a forest fee of 100rs each.. You are allowed to enter after 7am only.. 8km of offroad, elephant dung spotting and fog makes the ride best.. It has a very sceneic places.. There is a hidden place near the fences where u have to wiggle in..

The worst thing is ... They won't leave you inside It's a wonderful one day trip ... But the problem is off Roading ... The road is full of stones u have to be very careful while driving... But nice to do it ...
The temple will not be open ... The forest officer will tell not allowed then will ask for money to leave us ..
You can enjoy the view from the top .. and it's wonderful.. u will feel relaxed ..

A nice off road drive place for bikers. Need to get permission from forest department to enter here. On top of hill few sheds are there to relax, bit they are not well maintained. There is Ranganatha Swamy temple on hill. Better to avoid solo driving to this place, as most of the time no people will be there.

Half day visit near Bangalore, covered in fog and has a scenic view. An off-roading paradise for bikers, cars could reach the top but it's difficult while coming back due to rocks and gravel. Try to reach the place by 7-8 in the morning for the best weather.

Nice places try offroading both bike and car for 5km stretch - moderate level
In top you get stunning views and temple gets constructing now soon i hope they complete
Suggestion - Karnataka tourism, this place has lot of scope to develop tourism create some good infrastructure like viewing deck, parking area etc..
People visit here be conscious because this places comes under Karnataka forest department so , don't create noise pollution, plastic waste disposal because, it will distrub the wildlife
Note : this place close in weekdays so plan your trip on weekend worthy peaceful place

I recently visited Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta on the 25th of December, 2023, and wanted to share my experience for fellow travelers. The place is truly mesmerizing, but there are some important details to keep in mind for a smooth trip.
Firstly, be aware that this area is an active elephant zone, and at the forest checkpoint, the officers diligently record vehicle details. Make sure to cooperate with them for everyone's safety. Better go on partly cloudy day rather than sunny day. The chest point will open at 9AM and close at 3 PM.
Try to reach this location by the 9-10 AM window. There are two routes to the top, and two temples await you there. Take the left turn at the barricades (see attached picture) for the correct route. Unfortunately, the Google Maps pictures are misleading, showing the first location with no people, leading us to take the wrong route.
The road conditions beyond the forest checkpoint are challenging, requiring a vehicle with good ground clearance. Surprisingly, I saw people on scooters, but I recommend a more rugged vehicle for a comfortable journey.
During my visit, a Kannada festival was in full swing, resulting in a large gathering and the presence of senior forest officials. Due to this, the forest officers restricted access to the first route, which was under surveillance by supervisors. I suggest planning your trip on days without local festivals or pujas to avoid such restrictions.
I also learned that during certain times, the forest officers may allow access to the first route for a fee (around 100 rupees). Keep this in mind for future visits.
The view from the second route is not as spectacular, so it's worth making the effort to take the correct path. Bring your own food and water, as there are no facilities at the top. For safety reasons, I recommend traveling in groups rather than alone.
In summary, Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta offers a unique adventure, but careful planning and awareness of local events can significantly enhance your experience. Enjoy your journey, and stay safe!

Nice place for Morning and Evening time., Like Sunrise and Sunset view. Dam road way awesome. Nice view.., Entry fee ₹5 and vehicles also. Park available. Such a Peaceful place. In winter season it's better one for sight view and spend time with nature.
Feeling Bad.., For the water (waste water & Sewer water) Fully dusted. Like industrial waste water. It's spreads bad spell atmosphere. It's not for safe.

*Implementation of park. To maintain the park.
*Maintain ego friendly.
*Must need to clean water.

Went there en number of times. Because i do cycling regularly. Good place. You can spend one hour or maximum 1 ½ hours. Nothing more than that. There's no any other pass time around other than the dam. No hotels around. A petty shop and a few trolley snacks shops (that too not for all the day). Peaceful place. Listening to the sound of water rushing out from dam is damn awesome.

Good spot for a drive from Bangalore. Driving through Sarjapur road is recommended if you want to see scenic villages, farmlands and flowerfields. However there is a bad stretch where road is very bad and your car may scrape the ground. The dam area is very scenic and can be accessed from either side of the dam. When we reached, main access was closed and had to walk through the other side for access. Water flowing out of the dam is a sight to watch but unfortunately water is so bad. The entire sewage from Bangalore lakes (Bellandur, Varthur etc) reaches here and recreates it's foam( and probably the vegetables grown with these waters reaches back to Bangalore)

Good place to enjoy Sunset.
We visited over a weekend from Bangalore, covering also Chikka Tirupati. The place is not much crowded and allows with nominal entrance fees. There are no hotels/restaurants around this, so plan your food breaks.
People are allowed to walk along the dam, and one can go to the base of the dam. While we visited in April, the water has very pungent smell due to chemicals and foam. 3 of the gates were open, and one can see the water flow..but be aware of the smell.
It has a good amount of open ground and shade. The place is overall very nice to enjoy sunset. May be it is best to visit in mansoon to avoid the pungent water smell.
Harinath Avula — Google review
Place in a sorry state, with untreated industrial effluents and sewage being carried from Karnataka without any treatment done. The entire area is smelly, water is foamy and dark coloured.
As of Sep 2023: Some repair works are going on and nor allowed to go near crust gate.
Long ago South Pennar (Ponniyar) river which originates in sacred Nandi hill range in Chikkaballapur used to flow here. As Bengaluru developed and indsutries mushroomed this river got completed vanished and waste started flowing.
This water is used for irrigation purpose and thus the poison has entered our life cycle via veggies, fruit and dairy products.
Urge govt to do their bit to make alteast treated water flow 🙏
Praveen B N — Google review
The place is currently under renovation work and not allowed to visit or walk on the dam but you can just walk on near by bed of the water body, most of the water has been drained for repair works and most likely the repair works are for next 3-4 months as per the people in charge there.
The Butterfly Park in Bangalore is a picturesque destination dedicated to the conservation of around 70 butterfly species. Spanning 7.5 acres within Bannerghatta National Park, it features a kilometer-long pathway adorned with shrubs and a vibrant butterfly door leading into a mini-world under a polycarbonate roof. Visitors can marvel at the artificially created waterfall and enjoy the landscaped garden while capturing Instagram-worthy shots.
It's a must visit place if you visit Bannerghatta national park. The entry fee is ₹50 as of Feb 2021. As per the information, the best time to visit was before 3pm, however it's open till 5pm. I visited at 3:15 pm and could see a plenty of butterfly. The museum has a plenty of information about the butterflies.
Went on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. And over-all it's a good place to click some nice pictures.

This is a must visit place when you are in Bangalore. They have created a special place to exhibit the amazing range of butterflies that are found in India. It's a huge dome where you get to see thousands of live butterflies flying all over various flowers and plants. The team here is extremely well-trained and they enthusiastically explain various things about butterflies and other insects. They show you the cocoons, larvae, the pupa and educate you in real-time. They also have a separate section for exhibition and a documentary if about 20 minutes is played. The whole experience is amazing.

While I wasn't entirely satisfied as there were only a few butterflies in the butterfly park, the facilities were commendable. The washrooms and drinking water provisions were notably clean and hygienic, contributing to a positive experience. Despite the limited butterfly presence, the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the park were well-maintained, creating a neat and inviting atmosphere. Although the butterfly variety may have left room for improvement, the park's dedication to cleanliness and hygiene adds to its appeal, making it a decent place for a pleasant visit.

The ambience of the park is just mind blowing.
It's located inside the Banerghatta National Park.
You have to Buy tickets from the ticket counter. On Holidays the charges of the tickets are slightly high and the crowd is full of rush.
You can buy tickets online prior to the visiting day from their websites to avoid the huge line.
They also have baby care units inside the park
But do not expect too many butterflies flying here and there , but you will see different sorts of insects .

In the month of May 2023 we visited the Butterfly Park and had an absolutely amazing time! The park is dedicated to protecting around 70 types of butterflies and it is truly a sight to behold. The highlight of the park is the beautiful dome where the butterflies are kept. It's a magical experience to see so many colorful butterflies fluttering around. I'm sure kids would absolutely love it! In addition to the butterfly dome, there is a fantastic play area for children. It has everything from swings to see-saws to slides, and it's all nestled among trees, providing shade even during the hot afternoon hours. It's a great place for kids to have fun and play. The park also offers plenty of seating areas where you can relax and take in the serene surroundings. It's a peaceful and tranquil spot. This park is not only entertaining, but also educational. It gives you a fascinating insight into the life cycle of butterflies, from birth to death. Inside the dome, you'll find a wide variety of butterflies, each more beautiful than the last. I highly recommend bringing your kids along, as they will surely have a blast. The entrance fee is a reasonable 30, and it's cash only. Overall, I can't recommend the Butterfly Park enough. It's a five-star attraction that offers entertainment, education, and a chance to connect with nature. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience!

KFD (Karnataka forest department) have done a splendid job in neatly curating the life of a butterfly along with presentations and call outs at multiple places. The number of butterflies over the years has gone down and you don't get to see a lot as expected. Entry fee is 50 per person and the dome is photogenic. You can also sit and view the life cycle of a butterfly presented on TV. And yes, there are quite a few species that can be seen such as scorpion, spiders and others. 3/5 overalls.

Big mall with good collection of brands, amenities and food courts. Spacious place for parking. As usual at the top floor there are movie shows and food. Food court is really small for such a big mall and it's kind of messy.

This mall is one of the spacious and good malls in the Whitefield area towards the varthur road. The crowd was also not that much.
The best part is that the bus stand ( Varthur Kodi) is at 200 mtr distance.
The mall is huge with 4 Stories. At the top they have the food court and Inox.
You have the option to keep your helmet and belongings there with a token provided at the ground floor itself.
The mall has a good parking space and wheel chair access.
Most of the famous brands you get to visit here include Puma, sketchers, LP, MAX, Trends faces Canada, zivame, jockey etc.
You will find Pind Balochi, Domino's, Burger King, Wow momos, McDonald's etc for food.
You will get to see a beautiful book store, stationary on the ground floor they have arranged in a very good way. And a play area for kids.
Overall, it's a lively place, I love it.

First time visiting the mall to watch the Bhola Shankar movie and found the mall beautiful.
Due to the timing issue I did not explore much and am planning to go again on another day.
Food also nice in Birbal Biryani...
Worth visiting...loved it..

The mall is not really crowded and is not really big because of location and less people visiting there. You will find old brands as well as few newbies. The mall marketing department head was really nice and polite but rest of their staff were arrogant. Instead of helping customers, they will do all sort of dramas. Talking about staffs of brands, they are well trained and give customers the space they want. Food court is also big and got decent options for you to choose your meal. Overall it was 3/5 in my pov.

I have been to this mall twice.Mall is spacious with stores like Max, Trends, Decathlon, cafes like third wave coffee, restaurants like Pind Baluchi, Collage by Toscano which in my opinion are great places to visit. They have crosswords there which my child enjoy along with toy rides for children. What I didn't like was play arena is extremely small. I was scared for my child's safety as space was too crowded and with big children jumping all over I was not comfortable. Additionally Busters their gaming zone is too small for the crowd that actually shows up. Food court has some great options. When we visited there was no AC running despite its being hot .

I went there to watch movie in Inox. The mall is good and was less crowded. There is ample space for 2 wheeler parking and 4 wheeler parking. It is of 3 floors with inox in 2 floor. The movie experience is good with good quality screen.

One of the good places in the area that has all the necessary shops, a large parking with more than 50 EV points and a couple of pubs to chill out. Decently packed on weekends and quite empty on weekdays. An ideal place for family shopping or chilling out at Groot's after a hard day of work.

This happened on 6 April 2024. I rate Levi's store on level 1 in this mall, a Zero star. We bought 4 pairs of jeans that cost us 10k and kept with them for length reduction. We told the lady to do it asap. We visited 2 days later, and it was still lying there. On asking, the store manager started arguing rudely and told us to come the next day. The next day, we visited in the evening to be on the safer side. On seeing us, the rude person deliberately rudely asked why we were late. This was intentional. He again wanted to fight. We ignored him, took our stuff, and went away.
This is unacceptable. I will never go to this shop again.
Don't pay and buy insults. This shop is going to be closed soon with this rude manager. Don't bother yourself going here. We want a good experience from shopping. Not a bad, insulting behavior from a random shopkeeper.
There are many other better behaving shopkeepers in other areas. Buy from them. Save your mood and money. It's not worth it.

I had lost my wallet in the mall food court. I couldn't go there for almost a week. When I asked security personnel about it ,they were very respectful and cooperative. I got my wallet back with everything in place. I was asked related proper questions to verify my identity before returning the wallet. Thanks to the nexus mall management and security 👍

Antara Gange is a mountain peak with boulders covering its surface, featuring a Hindu temple and caves on the way up. The trek offers scenic views of the rural area from the top. Visitors can also explore a small pond, take a hike trail, and observe monkeys in their natural habitat. Parking is available at the base of the mountain with stairs leading up to the temple and pond.
Moderate hiking around 2km (Total 4km up and down) and 3-4hrs of time. They charge you 250/person for hiking. And best time to travel would be in winter season ig because in summer you’ll be exhausted.

A Nice place if you are beginner in trekking. Just a 2km overall climb. There is a "water fall" at the bottom of the mountain near the parking and a Shiva temple midway (priests claim to be 400 years old). Lot of monkeys in the surrounding so careful with eatables. After the temple there's a gate with few forest officials, they ask you to book online, just google e booking Antargange, at present tickets are ₹250 per adult and ₹120 for teenagers with school or college ID. Booking hardly takes a minute. After booking don't forget to take the guide with you. You will definitely need a guide to thread through the caves on top hassle free. Caves are crazy inside, you gotta be fit to squeeze through those rocks. Beautiful experience, something about the mountains, not just physical exercise, the Air cleanses everything, it feels peaceful. Its just around 30km from KGF and around 60km from Bengaluru. Good one day trip. Best to go early so that you can see the sunrise. Bookings stop at 4pm. Avoid taking local guides, some don't have an idea about complete terrain, take a government assigned guide. Sometimes they might fool you into telling that they have a guy on top, take the guide with you from the temple spot if you book online.

perfect place for a day trek from Bangalore. It’s an easy trek and beginners can easily climb 30-45 mins.

Antargange trek has lot to offer; there is a temple, small pond, small water fall, hike trail and two caves; not counting the monkeys. There is plenty of parking is available. From parking there are some stairs to the temple and pond. The trail which goes to the caves and mountain top leads from the left of the pond. There is a small water fall in the start and then the caves towards the top. The hike is easy to moderate. There are two caves on the top; big and small. It is better to take a guide for the smaller one, it is quite tight and better to leave the loose items outside.
Over all a must see thing around the Bangalore.

Nice place to take a break from the city and go for a moderate hike. There are two caves and plenty of rocks to explore. View from the top is amazing. It's part of the Karnataka eco trails. So book you slot either before hand and once u reach there. Guides are present to take you through the trails.

The starting point of the Antharagange trek is well-maintained, but be cautious of the monkeys in the area that may attempt to grab your food. At the beginning of the trek, you might encounter beggars. They charge a reasonable 20 bucks for bike parking.
As you ascend the steps, you'll arrive at a Shiva Linga temple, which holds a divine atmosphere. Despite the initial inconveniences, it's an excellent place to visit, especially if you appreciate the spiritual ambiance.
Antharagange cave and water used to be a free trekking spot but now requires registration on the government portal, along with a fee of 303 rupees per person. The trek starts off moderately challenging and gradually ascends, making it relatively easier compared to Savandurga.
Wearing proper shoes and carrying enough water is essential. While prices at the top might be a bit higher, it's not as expensive as other places. A local guide will take you through two caves. The first cave involves a simple climb, but the second requires crawling through tight spaces, which may not be suitable for claustrophobic individuals.
Afterward, there's a rock that you can climb for great photo opportunities, although it can be slightly risky. Be cautious, as the area is filled with rocks, and accidents can lead to serious injuries.
The descent is much easier than the ascent. The guide may ask for a tip, though he's already being paid, so a nominal fee is sufficient. Overall, it's a great place for a day trip, with well-maintained routes leading to the area.

Serene, silent, peaceful, scenic place. Mountains with full of big standing rocks. Went upto the temple. Would do trecking in future. trecking can be booked online.
It is green during this time, I can imagine how beautiful it would in in rainy season. There are so many monkeys in groups. Saw people feeding monkeys. They told there 400 monkeys.
I was there early morning at 8am. Next time I should plan to be there by 6am.
It is beautiful to just sit and watch things around. Because I went there on weekday, there were just 4 people.
Anyone can climb until temple. There is a pond and clean water falling into the pond. Not sure where water is coming from.
Spoke to a person who comes there everyday. High light he said is trecking and two big caves. He also showed a photo of how sunrise lookalike from the top of the mountains.

Antara Gange (also known as Anthargange) is a mountain situated in the Shathashrunga mountain range in the southeastern portion of the Indian state of Karnataka, Kolar district. Antara Gange literally means "Ganges from deep" in Kannada. It is about two miles from the town of Kolar and seventy kilometers from Bangalore. Antara Gange is famous for Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple, also known as Kashi of South. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the temple is a pond which gets a continuous flow of underground water from the mouth of a Basava (stone bull). It is believed that drinking water from the pond cleanse one from many diseases.
Antara Gange temple Way to Antar Gange caves is a steep and narrow path behind the temple to top of the mountain. (Now, the entry to the caves is restricted) The caves are 3-4 km from the temple. There are seven villages on this mountain, including Therhalli. The mountain consists of granite rocks and lot of caves around. Trekking in and around caves is popular here.
But if you want to do trekking here you need to book it before came to here and it costs 350 to 500 per person. I don't know why they charges for trekking. Nature is for everyone but those people not allow you to go up to the hills without pay.
From Kolar Bus stand to Antaragange is just 2 to 3 Km distance but if you want to go buy Auto you need to pay 150 Rs or 30Rs per person.
In Antaragange Hills you can see so many monkeys. There will be more chances that monkeys will attack the people. So visitors need to be more careful and Don't behave like monkey infront of monkeys.

An awesome 1 day trek and beautiful scenery which is about 60 kms from central Bangalore. There is a Temple that you can visit or else, you can go trekking. Trekking needs to be registered by booking online. Sometimes if you are lucky, you can get entry by paying the guards and guides at the entrance of the trekking. It’s better to reach the place as early as possible. Start your trek at 5:30 or 6 so that you can finish most of the climbing region before sunrise. It has amazing views and caves. There are 2 caves that the guides will take you to. One is a cave with long distance trek. Say 200 mts. The other one is difficult where you may have to loose your bags as you will have to crawl and remove your footwear as the ground has water flowing. The place has nice views for photographs and video shooting. You get food at the beginning of the trek, at the entrance of the temple gate. The place has a huge crowd of monkeys so, beware of your belongings getting stolen. If you visit the temple there is a person to take care of your footwear from monkeys stealing them. You have enough parking space for both 2 and 4 wheelers so, you don’t have to worry about parking. Food is available at the top of the trek with some cucumbers and tender coconut. If you wish to have food before the trek, there are multiple small shops that will help you with good food. Overall it’s a best one day visiting place near Bangalore.

Great place to visit if you want to try out some caves and check your flexibility 😂 it's interesting up in caves.
Tickets- you have to book the tickets in the Karnataka eco tourism website else you are not allowed. They are very strict up there. It costs around 490 per head, which seems over priced for this trek.
Food - There are no good food places nearby, you go far, though there are snacks that you can munch after the trek.
Timings- I visited on the weekend and there wasn't any time limit to enter, but suggestions would be to visit before 11:30PM.
This place has a lot of monkeys, so be careful.

A very beautiful place to hangout and pray both at the same time. Lots of monkeys while climbing the path to the top of the hill will welcome you. Please do not get afraid of them ...as they don't harm anyone going through the path.
But this place is best for clicking pics with some scenic natural beauty.
Although this mountain place is located around 55 km
from Bangalore main town, the roads are very good, so it could be the best morning ride or drive for spending your weekends in a good mood.

Anthargange, a picturesque hill range near Bangalore, is one of the most spectacular sites around Bangalore. There are many caves made of rocks in this area. This is a fantastic location for adrenaline seekers because you can go on a trek, try rock climbing, and go caving. This location is ideal for a one-day journey from Bangalore for people interested in spelunking, as the rock formations have developed multiple caves worth investigating. This magical beauty makes it one of the top spots to visit in Bangalore. Trekking and caving are popular activities. Best trekking place and exploring the caves is the best.... better to carry very less weight, wear proper shoe, go early on the morning and it starts at 6 am...
Anthargange - This beautiful rocky hill range is situated at about 1226 Meters (4021ft.) high in Kolar district around Bangalore. The Anthargange trek is one of the most coveted trekking spots near Bangalore. Anthargange hill is completely surrounded by boulders.
Anthargange Sunrise Trip is an unforgettable experience in terms of trekking and cave exploration. The trek which is around 3 km in length, you will find it to be pretty moderate as the trek starts with finding a way through broken rocks and tricky path in the boulders to finally arrive at the cave site to explore.
The experience at the Anthargange cave takes you back to prehistoric times. All the efforts and wait pays off right after the completion of the trek when you get to witness the mesmerizing sunrise from atop the mountain. And, if luck favors, you might catch a glimpse of some wild animals around. As the dusk fades away, make your way back through the cave to the base

Lord Shiva Temple and Antaragange cave trekking located in a same place. If people want to go for cave trekking they have to book the ticket in advance. Cost of 1 adult tickets comes closer to 490rs(Inc. GST) & kid ticket cost around 290.
Trekking won't be a difficult, there's a 2 caves located, each cave we have to crawl(funny and amazing experience), small caves only hardly it'll take 30 minutes to complete the 2caves together. Best part is trekking will be a fun & adventures, if you're going as family & friends.

The temple itself has a peaceful environ. But there are lot of monkeys around . Strictly do not take carry food, drinks or any bags. The monkeys are very aggressive and they also tear into the bags. There are steps leading to the hilltop that lead to the cave formations and also to the village that can be accessed by road.
The cave formations are a great place to have a first experience on caves. There are two caves on the hilltop leading from the side of the temple. It is advisable to take the assistance of local guides there as some of the rocks have steep drops and there have been some incidents where people got hurt. But the guides do demand an unreasonable amount of money but one may bargain for the same.
