Iwahig Firefly Watching Mangrove and Wildlife Park
Iwahig Firefly Watching is a tour that takes visitors on paddleboats to watch thousands of fireflies light up the sky during the night. It is located in a forest filled with mangrove trees, and on clear nights, visitors can see the gleaming illuminations of the fireflies and the clear constellations of the sky.
Very wonderful experience and great people. The boat tour is comfortable and relaxing, whilst the fireflies dance around you. Do bare in mind that your experience will differ depending on luminosity in the environment

We have booked our Tour with Budgetariang Lakwatsa and we had a great experience. I'd say book your tour ahead of time so pick up and drop off to Baywalk Park will be accommodated.
Not sure why this place got such a low review. Our experience was magical. The tour also includes a Dinner Buffet and it did not disappoint.
Our tour guide "Dodong" or as he calls himself "handsome" was so friendly and very knowledgeable. He shared some interesting facts about Fireflies while throwing jokes from time to time.
I looked for pictures on Facebook to see if it was worth it to include in our tour packages. I did not see any fireflies on the pictures so I wasn't sure what to expect. When we got there, there were really fireflies! Turns out, their light is just not that visible in the pictures.
I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat..
NOTE that there are two areas for Firefly Watching - Iwahig and Kitu-Kito.

Booked the tour with Maple Travel and Tours. The package includes being picked up from your hotel accommodation/prefered pick up point. Tour starts from the Puerto Princesa City Baywalk during dusk. The boat ride is around 20 minutes but you will not be bored since they have a very lively tour guide that gives a very informational details about Puerto Princesa, Baywalk and the fireflies. Then you will be transferred to another boat to tour the mangroves where the fireflies can be found. It pays to be able to take photos and videos to document the activity especially when your phone is able to take HD photos and videos. The experience with the fireflies is one worth remembering. The tour guide makes you interact with the fireflies which makes the activity very enjoyable and memorable. Before going back to the Baywalk, the guests will be sharing a sumptuous dinner prepared by the staff. The food was good and tummy-filling. Overall the tour was reasonable for its price.
Tricia Galban — Google review
It was one of a kind activity that I am highly recommending others to try. I love how our guide was knowledgeable not only about the fireflies but knows the constellations as well. It was also interesting to know about the plankton that made the wood stick under water light up. We were told that more fireflies are visible in the month of December.
Kay Balubar — Google review
Very Pleasent tour staff, they did everything for us to have fun, very good food prepared for the tour in the middle of the sea. Fireflies was nice

Firefly mangrove river boat tour in night is a unique experience. Tour operator picked us up from the hotel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan to riverside. The tour included a delicious dinner also. Watching jungle full of fireflies is awesome. The boatman explained all the things about fireflies in mangrove and explained how to protect them. No light is allowed in the jungle. Only boatman cum guide has a torch light. Complete darkness is required to keep fireflies at ease. it looked like the trees are decorated with lights for Christmas. It is mesmerizing to watch the fireflies- a memorable experience.
Padmaja Mehta — Google review
Save your money.
The fireflies are at some trees and react with res light. There are around 8 of those trees in the 10 minutes part of the river where you can see them. Not with the money. I've seen more flyig around in other places and don't expect them to fly around. They are just still on the trees.
Irene Bonet — Google review
Lovely little expeience if you are in Palawan. Peacful on the water and when the guide splashes the bugs they light up and whizz around which is good to see.

CLOSED' but a nice place to chill, relax and reminisce with friends / partners or even on a SOLO MISSION 🥰
Michael Bachmann — Google review
The boat ride in the evening was nice but there's no much fireflies during our visit. Try to go on New Moon phase in a nice weather. Very long queues. There were restaurants, our buffet dinner was included in the package tour.-2018

Puerto Princesa South Road, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines
Plaza Cuartel is a former garrison housing tunnels which lead to the underground chambers where 150 U.S. soldiers were burned alive by the Japanese during World War II in Palawan, Philippines. It's now a leisure park with a good view of the sea from its mini boardwalk.
An important landmark in Palawan where the Palawan massacre of 1944 took place. A tranquil park at present, you can see the other side of the Puerto Princesa sea from here.
Plaza Cuartel is a place to pay respects to the victims of that tragic event that is forever etched in history. There is a memorial designed by one of the only few survivors.
McRey Banderlipe II — Google review
This is a memorial to 150 US prisoners of war who were murdered by the Japanese in Dec 1944. It's set in the old prison camp which has now been turned into a memorial garden. There are displays outlining the massacre and its a nice, interesting place to visit, especially if you like your history.
backpackingmod — Google review
This place has a nice view and gives you a bit of the history of what used to be a military base in WWII and what has become of it after it was burned down by the Japanese.
It would have been more interesting if there's a tour guide to properly explain butI guess since it has been burned down in 1944, it only serves to commemorate the brave soldiers who were burnt down with the place.
Whilst here, you can sit down and enjoy the view which gives you a xalming feeling. You will also see kids running around.
Ma. Leah Rivera — Google review
Nothing much to see but it's a historical place. The tunnel looked dangerous and scary even from the outside, I could not imagine the struggles the soldiers have been through. A tragic but admirable story of courage and heroism.
raine p — Google review
Historical tourist attraction, part of a "get to know Palawan city tour". This is a memorial to the fallen soldiers that built the Puerto Princesa Airport. There is not too much to this place. It is a quick photo opportunity with a little knowledge of its history.
Shane Carruthers — Google review
A solemn reminder of a terrible time in history and the sacrifices the former generations made, so that we can live with liberty today. It is also a reminder of how evil can quickly raise its head if we are not due diligent with fighting it.
David Workman — Google review
During a city tour of Puerto Princesa City, January 2016, we also visited the Plaza Cuartel (english translation - Park Quarter) on Taft Street. Just across the street is the Catholic Cathedral. This site was once a military base then as a prison with underground tunnels used by the Japanese Army during World War II. It is now a nicely developed park in the city with large trees that provide cool shade and benches or low concrete structures to sit on & relax. There are paved pathways to stroll around & different things to see. There is also a nice view of the bay. We saw & read a number of informative posters about the role of Palawan during WWII, story of survival, Palawan Massacre & other events about the war. Then there are memorials honoring persons who paved the way to Liberation & a bronze memorial for the 143 WWII American prisoners who were atrociously burned to death by Japanese soldiers, 14th Dec. 1944. There were pictures of the 11 survivors. The sculpture of a prisoner of war is unique & remarkable. The park is open to public during daytime. Free entrance.
Alfonso Silverio — Google review
It was well maintained. Sadly, the caretaker said that some old trees were uprooted because of the typhoon. Nonetheless, I appreciated this historical place. Also, if you do not have a tourist guide, you can ask the cleaners to tell you about the history of the place. They will make you feel welcomed.
Catherine Daet — Google review
Our visit to Plaza Cuartel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, was both moving and educational. This historical site, with its tragic World War II backstory, serves as a poignant reminder of the past. The preserved ruins and memorial plaques offer a solemn atmosphere, allowing visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made during that time. The location's peaceful surroundings and the effort to commemorate the lives lost make Plaza Cuartel an essential stop for those interested in understanding Palawan's history and paying respects to the heroes of the past.
Elias Del Rosario — Google review
"Exploring Plaza Cuartel was a moving experience that brought history to life. This site, with its restored ruins and serene surroundings, holds stories of courage and resilience from a darker time. A must-visit in Palawan for anyone seeking to understand the past and honor the memory of those who endured

Nice garden and historical WW2 site and solem place we're 450 American soldiers were killed by japanese forces
There statue and marker with plaque telling you the story of WW2 massacre
iain smith — Google review
Tobe honest, after reading about the massacre that occurred here towards the end of world war 2 I was really upset. It was shocking to think how those soldiers died while trying to help liberate Palawan from the Japanese. The monument donated by the remaining survivor really captured the brutal was they were executed
Brendan Farrell — Google review
The place was good to chill in or sight seeing due to this historical way back for WW2.
You can read or discover some ancient history of our marines hero who fought us against the japanese trops.
The place is good for rehearsing of any activities of school.
Its a neighboring place at the main catholic church in Puerto Princessa
Well recommended.

This was the final stop on a day tour of tourist spots in Puerto Princessa. This tour is referred to as "CITY TOUR" although most of the locations are not in the city. Plaza Cuartel is a picturesque spot next to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. What is notable is the memorial markers for those lost in the Palawan Massacre. Our tour guide was able to tell the story and that made this more meaningful. The plaza could benefit from a plaque that details the events. If you do not come with a tour guide, please google Palawan Massacre in advance. Other than the memorial, and some beautiful spots for pictures, there's not a lot else to do here. A few street vendors are selling drinks, snacks, and souvenirs, but that is it.

The church Immaculate Conception Cathedral, located across from Plaza Cuartel in Puerto Princesa City is a historical landmark and spiritual refuge for locals and visitors alike. The building of this cathedral can be considered one of the Instagrammable places in Puerto Princesa as its sweet pastel blue paint often gets included in a city package.
The Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral is the first and the oldest church/parish in Puerto Princesa City.
Immaculate Conception of Mary. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that Mary herself was immaculately conceived. ~ Mary was filled with divine grace from the time of her conception. ... ~ Mary's immaculate conception was necessary in order for her to give birth later to Jesus without infecting him with original sin.
Jaimee J.A.R — Google review
Attended the 5pm Sunday Mass. For visitors with no car, you can reach the cathedral by riding a tricycle. Rates may vary depending on the type of tricycle and distance to the church.
The church is full during the 5pm schedule. There are white monobloc chairs available for people who wish to be seated while hearing the mass although it can get a bit crowded especially at the back. It will be best to come early to secure seats.
Manuel Mario Jr Young — Google review
It's a quaint place of worship, where you can commune with the Lord in silence and there's peaceful atmosphere. The exterior design of the cathedral is intricate and a little reminiscent of old architecture.
melisa sandoval — Google review
A beautiful, wellaintained, and historic church. Well worth a visit while in Puerto Princesa. Very close to the bay walk. Many other historic sites within walking distance.
Dana Morgan — Google review
One of the tourist spots in the center of Puerto Princesa City. Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish facade has dual towers in white and light blue color. In front of it is the Virgin Mary statue. It was indeed beautiful and has a gothic architecture design. It is strategically situated near Plaza Cuartel and just a stone's throw away to PPC Baywalk. Mass is held in English and Tagalog.
rom gar — Google review
Very nice cathedral/church. I arrived to find Sunday service in session with a packed house. They have speakers outside for the overflow crowd. This was juxtaposed by families strolling in the adjacent parks and teens playing basement all between the church and Rizal monument. This is the heart of Puerto Princesa community.
Holden Gibbons — Google review
Went here for visits Iglesia... it's a gothic style church likee the one in San beda....it's a quite place condusive for praying

A very nice church right next to a war memorial that you need to see.
GDSTUFF78 — Google review
Looked fantastic, but unfortunately we came at Mass, so we couldn't get inside to 'tourist' as it was packed! Worth going back but we didn't manage to have the time
Kelvin Webb — Google review
Nice Cathedral to visit in Puerto Princesa. Close to the water with a nice view outside the church. There's a few persistent vendors outisde, but nice outdoor area. Church is open and welcoming to all. Very nice on the inside.
LeWayne Ballard — Google review
Saw this church while on a city tour. Personally I don't like religious structures so I didn't go inside.
Mark Handley — Google review
It is one of the tourist spot in Puerto Princesa City. This cathedral has a scheduled masses everyday. They scheduled an english and tagalog mass. A lot of tourist visits this cathedral. This is located near the Plaza Cuartel and a walking distance to baywalk of PPC.
J. Bantayan RN — Google review
We managed for a short while to visit the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cathedral in Puerto Princesa City during a city tour, January 2016. The white & blue color painting of the exterior of the church is outstanding & symbolical of Our Mother Mary. The park in front of the cathedral was not completely done. The outer architecture is typical from the Spanish era. The inner architecture, ceiling, nave, altars & floorings are intricate & beautifully done. The covered path at one side entrance is very practical for the parishioners during rainy & hot seasons.

I'll never travel to Port Barton without this trip planner again
Palaweno Brewery is the first brewery in Palawan and offers tours that include beer tasting, food pairing, and cultural show. The brewery is located on Manalo Street in Puerto Princesa City. It has strong beer reminiscent of craft beers in other countries.
If you like craft beers, this is a must stop and try all beers.
Richard Y — Google review
It's a hole-in-the-wall local brewery that I found randomly online. There is a small sign outside the place, and you'll need to walk through a short driveway. The Beer is excellent!! You have 6 choices to choose from. The host is cool and friendly. I highly recommend this place :)

Came to a hidden gem. Owner and colleagues were incredibly kind and welcoming.
The owner provided many spots to visit while here on our short visit and was very welcoming to myself and my partner. Purchased some awesome t-shirts and tried some incredible beers brewed by these wonderful people.
Absolutely recommend. Loved it, and hope to come visit soon. Note, they do serve food. And the staff again are incredibly kind and social with customers. I highly recommend. Bonus, they just introduced a new Mango IPA ( ABSOLUTELY worth it).
Thank you everyone for your kindness and warm welcome.

Absolutely loved the place. Great local craft beer, and good vibe, music, and people. Even got a t shirt as I adored the design. Very recommended for beer lovers or anyone looking for a chill spot to have a drink.

Amazing place! Super Dave is a cool guy to chat with while sipping great craft beer. Their specials are specialy good. Apart from the bottled ones they also have two beers on tap and a few snacks to go with it. They even do tours that were not available at the moment due to reconstruction but should be back very soon (in a week or so). Beerhouse draws in friendly crowd and we spent nice evening hanging out with other drinkers. For me it's a must while staying in PP.
Jirka K — Google review
This place is a random find. We waited till 5 for it to open and was not disappointed. Dave the owner is an absolute joy and an entertainer. Went in for a 2 beers but ended up having more than a few while talking to Dave about his brewery. They make their own beer which are good. Do come here and Dave will not disappoint. Had a very enjoyable evening
Yohen Sukumaran — Google review
Amazing staff, delicious beers (our fav was the Flip), and chill atmosphere! So good we went twice! Our first night, we had a chance to talk to the very lovely owner about the beers, the history of the brewery, and what to see and do in Palawan. First craft brewery in Palawan and female run! The next night, the bartender taught us how to play Filipino pool and played a game with us. We will definitely be coming back when we return to Puerto at the end of our trip - can’t wait!
Delaney Widyolar — Google review
Awesome place to chill and they have a variety of brewed beers. I was actually surprised of the flavor just like I was at the Belgium Beer Fest. Excellent work guys and ladies.
CR Travel — Google review
Do not miss this super brewery when in Puerto Princesa! Dave is a total legend and will happily chat with you about the Philippines, beer brewing, the Filipino music scene, and a hilarious story about buying honey. The place feels cosy, has great vibes, and very happy people. We came here twice and wish we could come every night. Do try the coconut rum if you have a chance!

Amazing beer, very kind people. Newly, food is also available. Women led brewery.
Martin Wüthrich — Google review
This place is amazing. Great selection of craft beers, including local rice beer, IPA, APA, and a Kölsch on tap. They have other beers bottled too. The place is really comfortable, with a great island vibe and the people are massively welcoming and friendly. If you are in Puerto Princesa and you like good beer, you must visit the Palaweño Brewery!

Food is awesome - try the isaw!
Robert Hardy — Google review
The beer's good. Love the ambiance of the place too. Wish though that there was some food even just something to snack on,but they didn't have any. Usually breweries that don't have food will have a place nearby where you can get some but in this place,we just got some canned goods from the nearby sari sari store. Make sure you have eaten before going here to enjoy the beers..

There was a friendly cat 😻😻😻😻
Anyway, great place to get Filipino craft beer. Loved the Hunter one. I had two. I wish they served food or non-alcoholic options though. Staff explained the differences of each of the beer options very well.

Had a great night out at Palaweño Craft Brewery last week.
We tried all their beers, especially liking the Amber Ale and IPA.
Malu, the co-owner, kept us intrigued with the evolution of the brewery. As the first woman to brew craft beers here in the Philippines, she is a proud person and exudes her passion and knowledge on the subject.
Get along for a truly unique and flavoursome experience!

82 Manalo St, Puerto Princesa, 5300 Palawan, Philippines
The Palawan Museum is a small but interesting museum that showcases the cultural heritage of the people living on Palawan island. It features everyday objects and ritual pieces, as well as items from the earliest Filipinos. This museum gives a different view of the history of not only Palawan, but of the Philippines as well.
Palawan Museum is located in the old two-storey city hall in the City of Puerto Princesa. It houses collections of the flora and fauna endemic to the islands of Palawan and also features its different tribes. What appeals to me most is their old form of writing, which, although they educate tourists about it, I do not know if they do any efforts about preserving it and passing it down to the youth of Palaweños.
Entrance fee as of writing is 50.00 for adult and you can tour the whole exhibit in at least 30 minutes.
Getting there:
It is 1.1 km away from airport so you can walk after your arrival. Or you can walk from airport to highway (Junction 1) for about two minutes and take a jeep. You can also opt to take tricycle from the airport but they will charge you a hefty price.
Edgy Dulds — Google review
We had expected more to see. There are some interesting exhibits, but unless you read all the information about the local tribes you are through in 30 minutes. The entrance fee is 60 pesos p. p.
dasreiseteam — Google review
Don't have much to see. Maybe because most of the great finds of Palawan was in the National Museum like the Manunggul Jar, they only have its replica here. Most of its contents are pre-historic tools and how the early tribes lived in Palawan. Entrance fee is 50 pesos for Filipinos.

Spent a captivating morning at the Palawan Museum, diving deep into the rich tapestry of Palawan's history, nature, and vibrant communities. The exhibits seamlessly wove together the narrative of this unique paradise, offering insights into the diverse cultures and the incredible biodiversity that defines Palawan.
From ancient artifacts to modern-day conservation efforts, the museum provided a holistic understanding of the island's evolution. The interactive displays and well-curated exhibits made the learning experience engaging and accessible, appealing to both history buffs and nature enthusiasts.
The Palawan Museum not only serves as a treasure trove of information but also as a celebration of the island's heritage. If you find yourself in Palawan, a visit here is more than just a museum tour; it's a journey through time and nature that leaves you with a profound appreciation for this enchanting corner of the Philippines.

A must visit when you’re in Puerto Princessa. Sadly, it’s not offered in any of the city tours. You can still visit privately. You can go here via public transpo (trike or multi-cab). Transpo via multi cab is cheaper. The entrance fee to the museum is P50. There are no guides but the information posted for each exhibit is sufficient . There are two floors for this museum. I particularly enjoyed the exhibit about the version of Baybayin that originated in Palaw’ an. I also bought a T-shirt with Baybayin print that can only be found in the museum.

A real public market with fish, meat and vegetables. Nice to walk through. Don't expect to much, it's an actual food market, not a tourist attraction.
Sander Hoogendoorn — Google review
I would always visit a wet market when visiting a province for the first time. This is one way, for me, to immerse myself in its culture and its people.
If not for the heat and humidity I would have loved to go deeper than we did. The sights, the sounds and the smells have all mingled creating an experience that will embed Puerto Princesa in my mind for years to come!
And the price of the dried fish and squid as well as the cashew nuts are much, much lower outside of this establishment. And do get a pack of lamayo which I think is Puerto Princesa’s secret! 🤫
Patrick Trinidad — Google review
Not bad of a place, it's cheap and has a lot of food varieties. Although the place was dirty, has a bad "market' odor, there were rats and dead animals, and the place is so crowded. There is smoke everywhere because of the cars for the place has slow traffic.

For the feel if locals this has proven quit nicely in saving money on practically everything you can image.
All at prices way cheaper then the typical malls and grocery stores here.
FYI , if not used to the market just go with an open mind and take in and enjoy doing it like the local Filipino people do .
For me it was somewhat of a culture shock at first.
But now am quit comfortable there and am learning to appreciate experiencing it as a Foreigner.

The Palawan Heritage Centre is a museum in the heart of Puerto Princesa, specializing in regional history, culture and biodiversity. The exhibits feature local fine arts, holographic and dioramas of indigenous tribes, archaeological finds from across the archipelago and more. Tours of the centre highlight the Tabon Skull Cap - said to date back to the Stone Age and found in Palawan - as well as various other artifacts.

After registering our names and there is 50pesos entrance fee, there is a 10-15 mins orientation that will brief you of what you will expect during the visit in the museum. Paintings, Ancient days, livelihood, musical instruments, hunting materials will elaborately discuss with you with the staffs of of the museum. Paintings are also for sale in the museum so as the souvenirs items at the end of the visit. Parking area is also available.

Fun and educational experience to learn about Palawan’s people, history and culture. It also provides local artists a place to showcase their work. Incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We visited the Heritage centre today and as we approached the doors were asked to sign in and pay our 50 pesos for entry. Once inside we were allocated a tour guide who took us around the museum with super interesting facts and it was a much better experience than if we was to walk around on our own. The way the guide explained what they were showing us really brought it alive for us. 5 out of 5 stars for us and a really good value for money activity to do in Puerto princesa

It's very interesting, 2 videos are shown, also about the Cavemen. Fascinated me. Pictures and recycled art by young artists are exhibited.

SM City Puerto Princesa is a large mall with a variety of shops and restaurants. It is well-organized and clean, and the cinemas are especially nice. The mall feels like a tropical holiday destination, which is definitely an added bonus.
Very nice shopping mall and all you need was almost there whoop whoop
When you go inquire to sm samsung shop just ask how much for a replacement of the screen you need to wait or que before they answer it they dont even had a table of price so people will not crowded in one shop very sad we are avoiding to stay long inside the shopping mall but some of service so slow its not the shopping mall fault its only the tenants😟 they muast make the service more quicker to avoid the people will stay long to evry shop inside the shopping mall just saying you might relate what i mean

Great Mall, with huge supermarket and big variety of shops and restaurants.
If you are travelling, and need something, you most probably will be able to solve it here.
Very clean and welcoming and Wifi is strong

Just about everything you need in one place. I'm from the States and while there are many similarities to lay out and general "feel" of a mall, we don't have grocery stores included. Lots of places to eat (we also rarely have full sit down restaurants in malls so another difference) but overall a great place to start to stock up on necessities as well treats.
The dedicated tech potion was kinda cool too.
My only complaint is that there are no store directories, at least that I could find.

We visited Puerto Princesa in mid-July. As expected, when we discovered that SM Puerto Princesa is nearby our hostel, it became our go-to for lunches and dinners that are not sponsored by the travel agency. This SM store don't have it all for you, though, because it doesn't have a food court. lol. But there are several restaurants you can choose to dine in.
We liked that at the top floor, there are "start up" stalls - the locals are given spaces to put up their start up businesses, such as purses and bags made of bamboo or pandan materials, jewelries or accessories made from locally sourced materials, fruit-ade stand, katsa clothings, among others. We bought bags for pasalubong. If you happen to visit the SM PPC, see if you can show your support to these local entrepreneurs and buy their products.
Security is good, also. They are very polite, approachable, and they even have a resident K-9 unit. See third picture. I asked permission to take the officer's and the dog's photo. It's a rottweiler-labrador mix, beautiful fur soldier.
The best part? On that particular Sunday we went there for lunch, the TODA has this free ride promo between 11-12 noon. According to the tricycle driver, they do it once a month to give back to generous tourists as well as local commuters.

Had so much bad experience at Kidzooona Puerto Princesa. I was sitting at their lobby as guardian for 17 mins already when one of the
staff approached me and say I could not sit there so I went inside the play area outside the “no shoe” zone and willing to stand there. Another staff told me bawal din doon tumayo but I said I am willing to stand and wait there until the kids are done but still I am not allowed. On the third time I was told that even outside the no shoes zone I could not stay.
As I am not wearing socks and not really incline to spend again buying their upselling strategy, I decided to go out the premises and pull out the 2 kids who are playing and spend only 17 mins inside when I paid for an hour each, total of P460 for an hour with 2 kids. No refund was made 🥹
Update: After filing a complaint at SM admin, I received a full refund from Kidzooona. Thanks to all concerned.

Very nice.. Well maintained... While visiting had young group performing music... Unfortunately, the SM management didn't think to put few chairs for people, who would like to sit while enjoying the music.

The Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center is a breeding and research center for Philippine Crocodiles, as well as the home of endangered animals of the Philippines. The center features various aviaries where you can see different types of birds, as well as the crocodile farm where you can see dozens of large and small crocodiles.
This is my second visit to the Palawan wildlife rescue center. I am happy to see that it has improved since our last visit. The crocodiles seem to be well taken cared of. You will learn about crocodiles in the Philippines and why they should be protected. Despite their reputation, crocodiles are actually vulnerable because of human activities that displace them from their natural habitat. Our tour guide during our visit was very nervous because it was his first tour but we really appreciated his honesty and effort to give the best tour for his guests. I miss their other attractions though but you can still hold a juvenile crocodile for an additional fee of P100. This attraction is part of our city tour that we booked from an agency called Byahero. We had a very smooth transaction, reservation, and well-organized trips from them.

It's interesting to see. They have some cute babies and some ginormous adults, I mean ridiculously H U G E but at the end of it I still want certain that they're not breeding these young ones to be cut up into bags and shoes. Perhaps they will confirm in their reply.
Overall I enjoyed it, oh but the serpent eagles need to be released, they're in a real sorry state.

One of the itineraries in Puerto Princesa City tour. Loads of crocodiles to see and you have a chance to hold and have a pic with them. They have a limited number of other animals.
Niko Rosales — Google review
For the of $3 US paid for 3 adults and 1 child. This experience is a must! It's very much affordable for travelers and tourist. I have never been to a crocodile farm before, glad I was educated on their mission and hard work. See baby crocodiles to adults was somewhat trilling to be close to these dinosaur age creatures. The stories they shared from the adult ones - captured because it was injured or has even eaten human. Wow! The walk around the park is nice, wish it was longer with more paths.
If you want to support this place, highly recommend it! It helps keep the program afloat!

One of my interests in The Philippines is right here in Puerto Princesa and that is the crocodile farm/exhibit. Not to spoil the show for others I felt some pity for the animals. Small pools for some giant reptiles. The tanks with the baby crocodiles were OK. But the bigger animals need more room. The other parts if the park were interesting. Monkeys and a bear cat and the friendly pigs.
Mark Handley — Google review
Happy to support the environmental mission of this establishment. Very pleased to find somone is protecting an extremely endangered species.

The 5 star rating is only for the animals. The maintenance of the enclosures only gets one star.
The animals of the crocodile farm have already seen better times. The crocodile farm is best preserved. The snake enclosures of the three phytons look terribly neglected. Likewise the birds are unkempt. Some of the birds are not exhibited. The ways are in poor condition. It is actually sad to encounter the exhibited animals of Palawan in this way.

5 for the animals.
Has good parking area
Place is for viewing animals
No canteen/cafeteria/restaurant in the premises
Entrance fee is 60 pesos as of Feb 20, 2023.
You can add 60 pesos to hold a young crocodile in your arms
I just hope people will visit here to help in improving the enclosures
Massive crocodiles to behold. I won't post their actual photos. More animals to view inside. Di ko lang nakuhanan lahat. Might just urge you to visit the place instead. 🙂
Good for families. Just instruct your kids not to make any loud noises, and pls keep them close to avoid unforeseeable accidents.
Always follow certain instructions from the guide..

This facility needs a lot of development since this is part of the city tour in puerto princesa.
Entrance Fee: ₱40 add ₱60 for the photo opportunity to the little crocodiles.
Julie Suarnaba Bautista — Google review
This was the first stop on our Puerto Princessa "CITY TOUR." I am taking away one star because the facilities were quite dirty and depressing, and I hate seeing animals in isolation as I don't think it's good for their mental health. The large crocodiles were all in isolation. Otherwise, it was interesting and rich in history and culture. I just think they need to take better care of the facilities. On the scheduled tour walk-through, you will see the huge crocodile skeleton and hide, the hatchlings house, and the large crocodiles in their cages. Then, you can explore the wildlife area which has other animals (all in enclosures) and lush plant life. You can also pay PHP$60 to hold a baby crocodile.
Carl Smith — Google review
They have tours throughout the day and give you lots of good information, I learned a lot about Philippine crocodiles. They have both fresh water and salt water crocs. The salt water Crocs used to be all around the Philippines. They have a breeding program and release into northern Luzon and Mindanao. They can be found currently in southern Palawan. All the big ones in captivity have a story behind them, one bit a guys leg of, another was busy eating dogs. They have other animals too and a little wildlife trail, it's nice but but needs work.
Marc Zwillinger — Google review
You’ll mostly see crocodiles here. They’re probably going to end up being the biggest ones you’ll see in your life. The guide was educational. There’s also a small conservation area at the back, but it isn’t exciting. After the whole tour, you have the option of holding a baby crocodile for ₱60 (~$1.20).
Gavriel Rupert Dela Cruz — Google review
We had a short but educational tour!
Walang pa-ligoy ligoy and straight to the point.
Since it is a conservatory (not a zoo), there are only limited access areas for tourists.
No shows with tricks of some kind. Just pure appreciation & sightseeing of the salt & fresh water crocodiles 🫶🏻
You can also have your photo taken with holding a baby crocodile for Php 60

The Palawan Special Battalion WW-II Memorial Museum is a museum dedicated to the memory of the brave men who died during World War II. It contains displays of war memorabilia including artillery, uniforms, and also vehicles. Dr. Higinio Mendoza, a local hero who sparked the first guerilla warfare against Japanese forces, is honored with a marker at the museum.
Very small, still enjoyed it, got to see some cool things, and war items. Unfortunately they were still recovering from a typhoon, and didn't have everything displayed, which wasn't a problem, be sure to check this spot out when the opportunity comes.
Also, bring a water bottle with you, it does get quite hot in there.

The Palawan Butterfly Ecological Garden and Tribal Village showcases the beautiful tropical butterflies of the southern region of the Philippines. The garden promotes environmental awareness with displays of caterpillar pupa, and there is also a variety of endemic wildlife on display like Palawan bearcat, peacock pheasant.
This place is well worth the 50 peso ($1 USD) entrance price. There aren't as many butterflies (or as large a variety) as similar places I've visited, but the establishment is still nice. The price includes a short, somewhat rushed, informational tour, as well as a cultural exhibition from a local tribe. After the tour and exhibition, you are free to wander around the site and view the various small animals, butterflies, and plant life. We rented a motorbike in town and saw this, as well as a few other sights, and I suggest doing the same.

Entrance to this place is 60 pesos. Upon entering, there will be a guide to tour you around the ecological garden which has animals and insects. On the second part is the tribal village, in which there will be demonstration of the natives on their culture. After this, guests have a chance to take photos with the big snake, and the natives’ home. Hard and soft copies of the picture can be purchased upon exit.

Interesting place both for kids and kids at heart. This place is a learning tool of how insects (such as butterfly, which the name of the place suggest :) helps our ecosystem. There are also other insects and animals found inside this place. I also like it, that they teach people how tribes live and how they survive everyday living using old but reliable methods. Here, is a snake which people can touch and have a photograph with it.
Entrance includes a fee and a guide.
Photographs are available inside, by your discretion (price Php200.00 per photo).

Palwan Butterfly and Ecological Garden is an experience and one recalls the phrase "Butterflies are Beautiful "
which is also viewed with the Tribal village..
Ad we had visited in end February and the it was hot we were informed that the butterflies had retreated and cold be seen hidden in the plants and under leaves A notice is also installed which is explained the behavior of the butterflies and the animals when experiencing hot and uncomfortable weather..
However at the entry is Palwan Peacock Pheasant which is characterized by colorful feathers and vibrant wings that are exhibited during the mating season..to attract the female birds.
The Tribal village showcases the cultural life of the original inhabitants of Palawan namely the Palaw'an as the people are called
The first exhibits explain the hard life and the basket design which is to be mounted on the head so that the hands are free to pluck fruits or produce and store in the bamboo basket
There is a display of original drums, stringed Instruments one like the guitar and the other like a long violin called kudyapi together with a stringed instrument using the mouth as resonator and pulling on the strings with the fore and middle fingerA flute is also used in the demonstration.
A short melody is played along with singing which is a calming and serene tune..
A short demonstration of starting a fire using flint stones .For hunting Palw'an using a blow gun consisting of a bamboo pipe with iron tip or poisoned snake venom tip to stun the bird or small animals being hunted.Generally these are powerful and some designs with bamboo lengths exceeding 15 feet can send a dart for over 60 yards or we were informed..
Finally there is a 8feet tame python which people can wrap around their neck and take pictures of their memories of the park which is a must visit place

Perched on a hill with panoramic views that stretch to infinity, Mitra's Ranch in Palawan is a dreamer's paradise. The ranch's tranquil surroundings offer a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. Horseback riding through the lush landscapes is an experience that's both serene and exhilarating. The breathtaking vista from the viewpoint feels like a glimpse of heaven itself. Watching the sun paint the sky with hues of gold during sunset is an unforgettable moment that etches itself into your heart.

IMPORTANT:
"Take the Katipusdan road to reach to this place. "
If you want to just relax and enjoy the scenic views of Palawan, then just visit this place.
It has various activities which are okay for beginners (pre-adventurers) , otherwise you can just lay down and enjoy the views from top of the mountain.
We maintained.
Free entry.
Free parking space for motorbike.
Zip line, swing, slides etc are some of the activities..

Nice view, which can be seen from the outside of the house.
There is a 20 peso entrance fee into the house, but nothing special in there.
I find it sufficient to take a photo from the outside of the house.
Otherwise nothing much at Mitra ranch. Drove here by myself, the road leading to the ranch is not well paved. Car might get stuck if you don't drive well at the entrance to Mitra ranch

I came here on a city tour and the view is pretty nice. It's 20 pesos to go on the porch and look around the house of Mitra and learn about what he did. There is a nice garden and horse you can ride too.

A place to have a panoramic view of the City. You can add Rancho Mitra to your City Tour Itinerary. A must visit place. Also near to Baker's Hill.

An old house with spectacular views and rich history, Mitra Ranch is a relaxing place which must be seen if you visit Puerto Princessa. The entry fee is 20 php per person which is ok. The only negatives I encountered is the loud people and a bit of interference of horse riding. Recommend.

it was a nice location, cute landscape. very warm and windy ambiance. you may rent the horses ₱200+ for minutes and you may do their extreme activities like crossing a hanging bridge, zipline and the padulas using truck ng gulong ata genern. you will enjoy these!!

Mitra’s Ranch, a beloved gem among locals. Perched atop a picturesque hill, it's the perfect spot for panoramic views of the city and the sea. Ah, the thrill of zip-lining through the skies and enjoying a cozy picnic even though we didn’t see and try! Unfortunately, even the rain with signal number 1 couldn't dim the beauty of this place.

Beautiful views of Honda Bay! Nice to get out of the city a bit. I’m not much of a theme park person, but I enjoyed learning about Mitra and the history of the ranch.
Caitlin Swalec — Google review
I highly recommend this. A fantastic destination for various types of hangouts – whether you're with family, your significant other, or friends. The ranch offers a wide range of activities, making it a versatile choice for all. Visitors can enjoy horseback riding, experience the thrilling rainbow slide, try their hand at skywalking, take on the giant swing, and soar on the zipline. For those seeking relaxation, you can simply unwind at the main hut.
The cost of entry is incredibly affordable at just 20 pesos per person, and children aged 10 and below can enter for free. The rides, which include slides, skywalk, giant swing, and zipline, offer a range of options, with prices varying from 195 to 350 pesos each. An even more convenient choice is the package deals, allowing you to enjoy multiple rides for a reasonable price, typically ranging from 350 to 550 pesos.
Mitra Ranch is not only budget-friendly but also an exciting and picturesque place to visit. The combination of affordable entry, a variety of activities, and the stunning Palawan backdrop makes it a must-visit spot for anyone exploring the region.

This is almost all-in-one sky adventures and price is really affordable. We get to try everything for only Php550 per head. From the giant slide, to skywalk, zipline and giant swing. The staff are really nice and they took pictures and videos of the entire activities. Best time to come early in the morning. We arrived at 10am on a Saturday and we are the 1st ones so no waiting time. It is very near to Baker's hill. 20mins travel time from the city. I highly recommend this as one of your itinerary in Puerto Princesa. Make sure to bring extra clothes, face towel and water as it will make you sweat.

Kuyba Almoneca is a Puerto attraction that's not commonly included in day tours. This historical landmark features a cave where the face of Jesus can be seen formed in the stalactites. Visitors are also able to enjoy an underground pool with refreshing water, and even indulge in a fish spa outside the cave. The entrance fee is only Php100.00/person, which covers all amenities. A requirement for guests to shower before entering the pool would be ideal.
Came here as passing by , there's a sign outside that said, ' advance booking only ' but don't worry , they'll let you in if you just turn up , very relaxing garden and small cave with pools , nothing spectacular but nice all the same , they'll give you a quick guided tour then leave you to chill out on your own . I would recommend spending a lazy afternoon here if you are in the area . Price is from 100 pesos so not expensive. Oh and they have changed the name to ' Alicia's secret garden ' .
Phillip Drake — Google review
It is now called Alicia's Secret Garden. I am so happy I found this place. I only wish I had found it sooner, I would spend all day. It has a cave with a natural spring that feeds the pools (you can swim in) and a restaurant. The gardens are beautiful, playing tranquil music, and have a fish foot spa (it tickles!)! that was a fun experience. Highly recommended. FYI the sign says closed Mondays.

Really loved this place. I wish we had a whole day to spend in this serene place. It's our first time to visit here and we're really glad we saw it. For just P100 entrance fee.. you can already enter the cave where the face of Jesus was formed in the stalactites. Inside the other cave is an underground pool with a very refresing water..you cant resist but dip into it. I just think it would be best if the owner will require guests to have a shower first before going in the pool. After the swim, we had a fish spa outside the cave. Kudos to these fish who are so hardworking!

One of the attractions in Puerto, but is usually not included in day tours. We rented a tricycle for our day tour and exchange the two destination with this one.
Entrance fee is Php100.00/person, everything is included. Tour (with tour guide) around the place and caves, fish spa, use of spring pool, use of bathroom. Food is also not a problem, there is a restaurant inside.
Its a place that need a longer time to stay.
There are two caves, where you’d get to experience to walk inside it. One of the caves has a pool inside. Its really tempting to try the water, too bad we weren’t prepared. Better bring a pair of slippers when visiting, the fish spa is also tempting.
This is a good place to visit. Holy, for it is surrounded by religious articles and relics. It has also its own chapel inside, which is a beauty of its own. Respect to this place must be given. Also, I believe mass are also held here.
Safety is also a priority. They provide hard caps when entering the caves.
The beauty of nature.

Cowrie Island is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Honda Bay. There are facilities for tourists such as small shops and restaurants, making it a great spot for sunset photos or simply chilling out. Rents for tents on the island cost P250 each, providing an affordable option for those looking to getaway from the city.

Cowrie Island nestles a charming island that was named after the small-to-large sea snail, marine gastropod mollusc they call "cowrie.". It was often praised for its picturesque white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling, swimming, and other water activities. Many visitors appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and the opportunity to unwind in a beautiful natural setting. The island had amenities like cottages, huts, and a bar where visitors could relax and enjoy their time.

Pretty unique place.
There are open showers.
The meals are very local, if you are a westerner you may have a hard time eating the meal included with your tour.
I didn't trust the ice in the iced drinks.
The snorkeling on this island is not good.
There are massages.
There is a sketchy little bar.
You can get a fresh coconut grown on the island.
There are huts and picnic spaces.
You can rent a jet ski.
You can ride a hotdog tube.

Cowrie Island is a small-scale island adorned with sandy beaches all around its coastline, making it a perfect destination to luxuriate in blissful tranquility for a few hours. Encircled by coconut trees, it is highly recommended to dine here. After a satisfying meal, you can take a leisurely stroll or just sit and sip on some refreshing coconut water while gazing at the waves, losing yourself in the simplicity and serenity of it all. The crystal-clear waters are a visual treat, instantly dissipating any stress brought on by city life.
The surrounding shallow waters also make it an ideal spot for children's entertainment.
The above description attempts to capture the idyllic charm of Cowrie Island and encourages visitors to experience its peaceful ambiance and natural beauty.

Cowrie Island is one of the Islands around Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa City situated just a convenient 30-minute or less boat ride from the port. When we had our island hopping tour, we ended at this island where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch and spent the rest of the day before heading back.
𝐂𝐨𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 is an ideal destination for a beach excursion with local or vacationing friends and families. Apart from the white-sand beach and clear waters where you can do water activities, there is also ample ground for various beach activities. There are small to large cottages, a hall, decent shower and changing rooms, and other basic amenities.
For those who prefer to bring their own food, the boat crew is happy to cook it for you. For more information on entrance fees, cottage rentals, boat transportation, and other costs, as well as meal options, be sure to check out their page at Cowrie Island before planning your visit.

Pros
1. One of the nearest beautiful beach/island accessible near the city (10-15mins boat from honda bay wharf)
2. Designated swimming area which have marks and a lifeguard for safety
3. Buko juice and light snacks available at a store in the island as well as bar, massage and henna tattoo
4. They offer overnight stay but you'll have to bring your own tent
5. Whole island can be rented for company activities
6. Few activities offered like kayak and volleyball
7. They have designated grilling area
Cons
1. Shower area uses salt water as well
I visited the place twice. First time I was alone, I rented the whole boat which costs php1000(good for 6 pax and an additional php167/pax for exceeding person) entrace fee to the island is php100. Cottages ranges from 100-500

The hotel Luli Island is a great place to relax and have a good time. It has clear waters and fine sand, making it an ideal spot for swimming and sunbathing. The food is also good, with plenty of options for both breakfast and lunch.

Big island but a lot of plastic and garbage so I recommend the government to clean it sometimes. We saw a few starfish but not a lot of other things. The mangrove is nice and there are a lot of swings to lie down or houses to sit in.

One of several Island Stops in Honda Bay, Palawan is the Luli Island. With its crystal clear water amd white sand beaches. Honda Bay Hopping is a must experience whenever in Puerto Princesa. A day tour with nice beach lunch includes the package. But make sure to never forget your swim gear and diving googles to see the colorful underwater fish feeding in Snake Island. A walk in the sand bar is a must...

Of all the three Islands that wee part of the Honda Bay tour we had, Luli was the most beautiful. It was picturesque that’s perfect for your instagram photos! We just stayed their for an hour and I think that was not enough to really enjoy the place. I was really hoping I jumped on their diving boards, something I regret I was not able to do because we were so focused with doing pictures we forgot the time limit.

One of the best place during your Honda Bay trip. The sandy beach during low tide and Maldive-like place when it's high tide. Best resting spot after doing the snorkeling activity on any agency(e.g., JewelTrip and Tours).

Not much to do on that island except get a small lunch, a beer, and have a quick swim. A few hammocks are at disposal. The swimming / snorkeling area is extremely small, not so interesting, and not really worth the trip. However, water temperature was comfortable at the time of our visit.
Where Can I FLY — Google review
This small island is part of Honday Bay tour in Puerto Prinsesa.
Most boring island to tour around Honda Bay.
It is quite island, the sand is not as pristine as what you'll think of if you'll hear "Palawan" in the Philippines.
Just for basic snorkeling and swimming, nothing much to look forward of sea species and corals in this island.
If you only have limited days visiting to Palawan better head directly to El Nido or Coron than listing Puerto Princesa spots on your itirenary.
El Nido and Coron will surely meet your expectations when you just heard about "Palawan in the Philippines".
Coron is very convenient to fly from Manila or Cebu or Boracay, but El Nido is really time consuming to travel to and from Puerto Princesa or Coron.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Very disappointing experience. Islands are very average. You're confined in a small area to swim with lots of other people. Aweful snorkeling. One Star is even too much. I would give half.

Simple yet very relaxing islands. Each island has its own beauty and uniqueness to offer. Swimming, snorkelling, or simply sitting down are all worth the time.
I would advice to go here early in the morning to get a tour during peak seasons. A lot of tourists are in this place.

Nice overall experience. Our tour guide Raquel was very knowledgeable, warm and attentive to all our needs. As well as our van driver and Kuya bangkeros especially Patrick who helped us everytime with our bags. Lunch at Starfish Island was yummy with mostly grilled options, fish, shrimps and liempo. There's a small market for some seafood which they can actually cook for you. We had fruits for dessert with their local yellow sweet watermelon and pineapple. Bring a lot of sunblock, wide brimmed hats and your own cold water if possible as the heat can really be a beast especially at noon time. Cellphone signal can be intermittent. Luli island was our first stop, it had a small sandbar strip as it was high tide then. There were also floating cottages where you can chill if you choose not to swim. Overall a great experience especially seeing the crystal blue waters plus the fine sand of Cowrie island, the most beautiful and biggest of the 3.

A good day out with the family, lots of fun activities for the kids and beaches for parents to relax on. Not the best islands in Palawan because of the higher volume on tourists but still beautiful, don't expect reefs or colourful corals.

If you like an easy simple tour, this bay tour is for you. Which you can also snorkel. Guide brought us first to a rental place for gears. You’ll have to see it for yourself tho, what view you can see beneath the water or, on or around the islands/sandbars the guide will bring you to.
Personally I’d have preferred just one island, ie. Starfish or Cowrie. I’d have enjoyed more staying in one island for a few hours. We didn’t get to go to Starfish because somehow it was scratched from the itinerary. My sister’s friends knew about it but naturally we didn’t know which is which. Until we saw pictures online. Hence the two star review. And because we could’ve gotten a cheaper per pax at our own hotel.
For serious snorkelling, some online reviewers prefer the northern part of Palawan.
I hope they improve the wharf toilets. It was dirty and needed flushing, but no water even from the tap. Just a half pail of water to wash hands I suppose.

Nice the other 2 Luli island and the last island we visit is Cowrie Island but the lunch buffet was poor, just to fill the tummy!

Nothing special. So-so snorkeling, average food for the tour and one island without anything to do if you don't pay extra (well, yes you can walk around, swim and sunbath). I didn't end up the trip super exited about it and it seems that the inicial price changes so much because of all the extras.
If you decide to do it don't buy the waterproof bag (you won't take it to the water), rent the googles if you don't have or if you are just passing by. Don't need to rent the shoes if you have good ones. It is important you remember your tower but if not the guide will lead you to a shop to rent one as well.
Palawan Waterpark By ASTORIA is the city's first and only aquatic playground, offering a variety of water thrills and activities for the whole family. From vibrant slides to the relaxing St. Paul River Ride, there's something for everyone. The park also features a Marine Sanctuary and a Tumbling Buckets Zone. Divided into six main areas, including a Lazy River with added current for a natural flow, this waterpark caters to all ages and comfort levels.

I love the water park 😊. The staff is also accommodating and friendly. They helped us during the slides and even offered to take our photos.
The reason why I gave this place 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 is because of its location which is 2 hours from the city. During our stay, we had a villa room which is very spacious and also has a nice view of the sea. It's very relaxing and recommended for a staycation since our room has a mini kitchen. Some parts of the hotel though is still under construction so you need to ride their go cart (which I think is only few) since we have to wait a while to be picked up.
The food is also delicious; and during dinner, there is a fire dance which is also very entertaining. (They offer buffet breakfast and dinner but you can also order ala carte).

The actual place is not that big. You can spend time and enjoy the whole waterpark for half a day. If (if only) you are not a hotel guest in Astoria and will just pay to visit the waterpark, i think it is not worth it. There are few choices for drinks, meals and snacks. The good thing is, the staff are very nice and hospitable. Cabanas are for rent but due to low counts of guests, we used it for free without any fuzz from the Waterpark Staff.

This is a must stop if you're vacationing! They've got something for all ages and all comfort levels. My favorites were the wave pool and slides. The staff is funny and kind (ie.they're not just hustling customers through without talking).
Note : when we visited today it was pretty empty (school week) so they periodically turned off certain attractions for a brief time based on how many people were using a particular attractions, when it's busier all of them might be running. Not to worry though, there's always something to enjoy.
They have cabanas to rent out, but also free picnic areas. It's very close to the Nest hotel, which I'm saving for a different review (spoiler, it's equally amazing).

The water park so nice, we went twice! Truly, this was a highlight of our entire trip to Palawan. We stayed at the Astoria Palawan and one visit was included in the cost of our stay. On the first day, it was lightly raining and overcast. We still had a wonderful time. On the second visit, the weather was gloriously hot and sunny. The park is divided into six main areas. 1)Lazy River - This 3-ft deep, 7-ft wide "river" spans the perimeter of the entire park. They add a bit of current to give a natural flow. They provide inflatable rafts. Lay back and enjoy. About 50% is covered. I could have floated on that river for hours. 2)Cabanas - For PHP$500, you can reserve a covered cabana with picnic table. It's a great place to leave your belongings, take a break with a snack, or get out of the sun for a minute. 3)Water sculptures and cannons - This area features several dozen blasts of refreshing water from star fish, crocodiles, whales, walruses, adjustable water cannons, and art sculptures. So much fun! 4)Tumbling Buckets Kids area - this 2-ft pool features a central playground with slides and water falls. Every 10 minutes, the huge bucket above fills up with water and rains down on the play structure. Intended for kids, but I saw everyone having a great time! 5)Main pool with waves and water slides - The pool starts very shallow and gets to 5-ft deep. Great for swimming and relaxing. Every hour, they turn on the wave machine. Sit at the edge and enjoy lapping waves or head to the deep end and see if you can stay afloat. Meanwhile, you can ride one of the exciting water slides. They have three steep direct slides and two longer slides featuring twists and turns. All end up back in the main pool. Ride down on a simple raft (that looks and feels like a Yoga mat with a handle) or don't use a raft at all. 6)Food court area with picnic tables and loungers - If you pay for admission, you will receive a series of food vouchers that are redeemable at the food court. Fruit smoothies, popcorn, cotton candy, fries, nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, sandwiches, and even spaghetti! End the meal with soft serve ice cream. I really can't say enough about this place. The water was clean. The staff was wonderful. The food was even great. It's PHP$1200 for adults and there are different prices for children, but since I didn't come with kids, I don't remember. You can also rent a locker. Towels are included in the price of admission. There is also a convenience store at the entrance and across the street. The store across the street has an ATM and restaurant. Enjoy!!

The floor or pool bed is rough... I got my elbows and knees scratched when my son turned me over. It was made as that to keep it safe.
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. I personally love the batak misters and marine sanctuary. Everyone should try their slides. That pool - has a wave too, they open it every hour and turn if off after 15 mins.

We had a blast here. Stopped on our way back from the underground river. Did the cave climb and Zipline. It was our first time with a Zipline, my son 6 years old even made it. I loved it! Great team and little adventure with excitement!! Thank you!!!

Went here on the way back from the underground river , I've given it 5 stars because while it's not a spectacular adventure it is pretty fun and the people are nice so couldn't really fault it for anything , we didn't take the zip line down as it costs more and we have done them many times before , which actually means you get to do more rock-climbing stuff so for us was cheaper and better .

A good trip from underground river back to puerto princessa. Good place for small adventure. The staffs are polite and they explain you everything before trying. It has some adventures activities also like Zipline which is very interesting if you do. One MUST take it if you are going to the Philippines. The cave formation is very different and in some places spectacular. It is a must see in the Philippines.
The view at the rock top is great and it only takes 20mins to climb to top. Really worth visiting!

This is a community based activity so aside from having fun you also help the community. What I love about this place is that you have your own Guide that would take pictures for you. Mabilis lang ang cave but will take long because of the pictures. You can see stalagmites, stalactites and columns around the cave. The view after is also amazing. Its also easy to go back kas stairs nalang gagamitin

It’s a mandatory stop in your puerto princesa tour package… nature is always beautiful - it always deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the park needs a bit of improvement… for facilities like these - that ask for entrance fee and more fees for activities - make it worth our money and keep the place clean and well maintained.

Nice experience, this can be your side trip if you are going to Puerto Princesa Subterranean River
You can climb the Ugong rock for a short minute, but the rock formations here are very steep and small spaces, but when you reach the top the view is amazing,
an activity where you can do caving, spelunking and zip lining

Great tour guides and an amazing adventure for all ages! We were able to squeeze into crevices we've never thought we'd be able to fit and even do some spelunking! The guides made it such a fun experience and we topped it off with an amazing view at the summit with a Zipline back down to base!

About $27 USD to hike / climb through a SMALL cool cave and then a 400 m zip line to get back down... definitely worth it and the staff is very friendly and helpful too.

A very nice place and a great adventure. It was not a long hike will take you like less the 10 mins if you just walk up without taking any pic. You have to wait a lil bit if there’s a lot of hiker cause they have some activity inside the cave. But it was an awesome adventure admiring the beautiful formations of nature. If you are tired walking back you can avail the zip line cost like 250 pesos. 🙌🏻

A Must - try Adventure! Tried their zip line in superman position. It was the best! They Just need to work on the long queueing before entering the cave and climbing.

The place ignites your adventurous side.
The Ugong Rock Formation is a cave system that leads you all the way to the top, where the zipline awaits you.
Better wear shirts and shorts in order to prevent difficulty while climbing the jagged and sometimes slippery rocks.
The place is called Ugong because of its distinct sound that it's creating when you tap/strike the rock formations there.
The locals of the area formed a cooperative in order to provide livelihood for all of them.
The tour guides are locals themselves, so they are already familiar to the place. They know what they do.
Ziplining is a thrilling ride once you go up the top of the rock formation. The ziplining is not for the faint-hearted.
There is a photographer that's available in the area and that they can take your picture for a fee.

The waterfall Binduyan Falls is a beautiful site, and it's a popular tourist attraction. It's a difficult hike, but it's worth it. The hike takes about 45 minutes, but it is a beautiful journey.
Absolutely stunning place to go. The climb to the second fall was quite difficult especially when its wet but definitely worth the long walk.
Matthias Huber — Google review
I did enjoy the time spent here. It's a relaxing journey to the waterfall. Maybe for most of the people seems too much the tax💰 500 pesos.
ManGDani — Google review
They monetized the waterfalls. They set up a booth at the entrance to charge a 50 peso fee per person and then another 400 pesos for a mandatory guide and that is just to the first waterfall. If you want to go see the falls farther up it is an extra 200. I am sorry but 700 pesos for 2 people to see a couple waterfalls is way too much when there are plenty of other waterfalls around.
Kristoffer Thynes — Google review
The Falls was a 45 minutes trek, for those who have at least 1 meter per pace, from the highway and the highway going to the falls was 72 kilometers north from the city proper of Puerto Princesa. It was good (but Estrella Falls in the southern part of Palawan is better for me in terms of water), it has many falls in the upper portion but only tried the first fall since the way going up is dangerous and scary. No fees since no one manage the area but I heard residents near the area can be hired as a guide travelling to the falls from the highway and assisting you in your stay in the falls for 200pesos.
Maika Rose Gastilo — Google review
The hike to the waterfall takes about 45 minutes, but it is a difficult hike. You are going over natural rocky terrain, some smooth paths, a few man made bridges from bamboo, and unmarked paths. Take a guided tour from one of the locals. Take water, a walking stick even just a stick of bamboo, two pairs of good walking shoes or back strap sandals you can get wet (one to wear going there and one back cause you will walk through water to get to the falls), a small towel, and maybe some spare clothes. I had an amazing guide who helped me over some of the rough spots. The waterfall is lovely and the water is so pure. If you are sure footed, maybe the guide will help you climb up the side of the fall so you can dive off! Its worth taking a guide, 400 Pesos is like $8 USD.

Good plase to visit, but 400 pesos for the guide its too much.
Olangoan Waterfalls is a vast and picturesque spot, with well-maintained paths and stairways that make it easily accessible by foot. Its lush surroundings are home to small primates that add to the natural beauty of the area. The water here is crystal clear, making for a refreshing swim in its pristine waters. Despite its many charms, entry fees remain reasonable, although some visitors have reported frustration with entrance restrictions due to the absence of tour guides in Palawan.
A very great place to visit. Water is pristine. Price is very reasonable. People are kind.
Dennis Bihis — Google review
This was a really beautiful hike, but certainly not an easy one. I went late morning and there was nobody there to guide so after asking someone where the starting point was (across some grass and then through the shallow river) I went in search of the waterfalls solo. It’s not an obvious route, with no signage or bridges as seen in older reviews. You need to wade through the river several times, clamber across large rocks and guess at points which way to go. It is very wild and jungle-esk and it was nice to be rewarded with a swim at the end. There was torrential rain on the way back which made the rocks slippery and proved even more difficult to see any trodden-in paths. I’m glad I did this but I wouldn’t recommend doing this solo or without a guide. Good hiking shoes that can get wet are recommended!
Ruth harri — Google review
It’s a beautiful and extended area, easily walkable with paths and stairs everywhere, they took care of it. There were also some very small monkeys high in the trees which was a nice sight.
I’d gladly pay ₱50 for the entrance, but I’m tired of this “no guide no entry” BS all over Palawan. Other reviews talk about ₱600 which is nuts.
Thankfully I came here after closing time and nobody was there to ask me for money for “guide” me around. Nobody needs a guide just to follow a path.

They monetized the place. 50 pesos for entrance fee is okay, but 600 pesos for a tour guide is just too much. And besides, there are so many beautiful waterfalls in Palawan that you can visit for a way cheaper price. I wish I could give a 0 for this.

Sabang Beach is a small, tropical beach located in the midst of jungle. It has palm trees nearby and is adjacent to lodging and mountain views.
Nice friendly place. The only thing is there’s a lot of dried seaweeds on the shore and even on the water but doesn’t matter for me.
Leizel — Google review
Sabang Beach, compared to other beaches in the Philippines, is relatively average. It lacks a reef, snorkeling, or diving opportunities in the area. The restaurants tend to be overpriced, and the food is passable at best. There are only two non-backpacker resorts available, both costing over 100 USD per night. Unless you're looking for a quiet retreat on a somewhat ordinary beach or staying overnight in transit, there isn't much reason to linger here. Most visitors may find themselves getting bored after spending more than a night. It might be better to head straight to El Nido for a more vibrant and diverse experience.

The place is awesome. You can relax here. There is an available van transport going here everyday. Sabang is where Underground River located. If you'd still remember, Underground River is listed as one of the 7th Wonder Nature of the World. There is a lot of small restaurants and inn here in Sabang. There is also a one available ATM machine near the pier and Underground River Office. When you are travelling here, they required you to be fully vaccinated. Yes, for me, the place is awesome.
Have fun in Palawan.

The perfect place to spend the afternoon. We went here on a weekday so there was no crowd which was awesome. Spent time just watching the waves and having a chitchat with the hubby while our daughter tries for a sand castle. I'd say that without having to spend a single peso in Sabang Beach, it was an afternoon to remember.

Loved the feeling of the place nice sea breezes. Boat dock going to the underground cave was super busy lots of vans full of tourists coming and going.. but away from there down the beach was nice and not crowded.
Located in Palawan, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is a mountainous national park known for its 5-mile underground river and caves with boat tours. With an intricate cave system and formations of stalactites and stalagmites, the Underground River has an eerie feeling that tourists love. The tingling sensation it brings along with cool water is a must-try!
A breathtaking view from outside and inside the cave! You will be amazed of how the place is beautiful. You will really appreciate the place if you are a nature-lover! 😍

Nice experience. You have to take a small boat to get there, then walk to the entrance of the cave after checking in, then you ride another boat for the tour. It was really interesting and nice to experience. There is an audio guide and the one paddling the boat will also point out some thing during the tour. Be careful with the monkeys. They will really snatch your food and drinks if they see it.

Great adventure! I went there with my boyfriend and we will always remember this experience. You get there by boat in groups and then you walk along the beach and get to the entrance and then onto another little lower boat. You are able to go thought the cave and hear all the bats and see the old rocks. You are surrounded by nature, beach and caves, it's just amazing. After we enjoyed a nice buffet organised by our tour company. Remember to get a waterproof bag to keep your things safe from water.

If you are visiting the Philippines then you should add this destination to your travel plan, turquoise blue water, close to nature and formations to watch out for during your boat ride going to the underground river. Be aware of the bats hanging on the cave walls.

Must see! This is an experience you shouldn't miss if you're visiting Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan. Our group searched for a tour package on Facebook, and we paid P1850/head (excluding environmental fees). This includes the van transfer back and forth from your hotel/lodge to the Sabang Pier. The boat ride from the pier to the beach going to the cave is approx 15 minutes. There are many beautiful rock formations inside the cave. The bats are everywhere, and the possibility of getting a bat pee or a stalactite juice dripping is high. It is worth of your money! I'm thrilled that I got a chance to see one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature upclose and personal. 👌
Before I forget, there's a buffet lunch 🫰

Holy cow. Astonishingly beautiful this place. It's everything and some more. The clear blue waters, the cave structures, and the overall experience is just surreal. Just be careful about the monkeys though, they snatch cellophanes and any other things they might perceive as food.

Natural rock formation over the years. Cave occupants: bats - small as 1m. Underground River -8km and some parts are not discovered yet.
Audio device is provided throughout the underground River tour
Monkey’s wildlife at the park before you reach the cave. (Keep your food secure as to not pique with ‘em curiosity…)
Recommend to book a tour for convenience, the zip line add on for the tour is good for adrenaline junkies, for those who have fear of heights no worries… you may enjoy the beautiful white sand, clear water beach for a while… there’s toilet on the far side (if you want to go swimming for a bit while waiting - it’ll take like an hour as I remembered ) and stalls at the entrance (refreshments and snacks).
Note: the road is a bit rocky on some parts.

I'm writing a review for the park and the tour operated by RYLE ASHER. Please be advised that when you read reviews, you are mainly reading about the tour operator. Complaints about waiting around, bad food, etc is the result of the tour operator. Pick a great tour operator and your experience will be amazing! Again, I went with RYLE ASHER tours. It was wonderful. From the pier you take a small catamaran to the entrance to the park. The catamaran is loud, so if you are sensitive to sounds, bring ear plugs. The views were stunning on the small boat. Once at the shore, you will receive your hard hat and make very simple 5-minute hike to queue up to go into the caves. There are restrooms at the pier and the shore. Once you make it to queue for the cave, there are no more bathrooms. You will get into another small boat, approximately 6-8 people in each boat. You will receive an audio guide with one headphone. The audio guide will give you lots of information about the cave, its history, and what you are seeing inside. The boat operator is also trained to share certain comments and jokes. Most of the time, the boat operator's comments sync up with the audio guide. The rules for the tour are simple. Keep quiet (too much sound affects the bats' ability to move around - echolocation), keep your mouth closed (bat droppings), avoid looking straight up for very long (bat droppings). Being in the cave, floating along, hearing and seeing the bats, seeing the formations - it was really amazing. At times, it was a little scary. I can't lie, but just keep breathing and remembering that they bring hundreds of people through this very same tour every day. You will travel into the cave about 20 minutes and then turn around to travel back to the entrance. What you see on the return is very different than what you see going in. Once back to dry ground, you can visit the restrooms again, take a look at the photos they snapped of your group and decide if you want to buy them. Then, it's back to the catamaran and back to the pier. I wore flip-flops that were a bit too big for me. They kept falling off. I recommend water shoes or a bit more tighter fitting sandal. Do not wear socks and shoes though as you need to wade in water to get in and out of the boats. Again, pick a good tour company and your experience will be great!

Very cool experience to see inside this surreal cave system. A bit smelly, and thought I was being pooped on by birds/bats a few times but alas it was just water dripping from above.
The guide and the audio recording were a bit "meh" with regards to the history or much interesting information, most of it was about what they've named the formations.
All in all it was a pretty good tour, but don't expect it to be filled with interesting info about what you're seeing.
Eric MacDonald — Google review
This experience is truly wonderful. The tourist are not allowed to speak or make any noises in the cave to preserve the ecosystem which is fully understandable and has to be respected. Yet it was annoying that the boatman was talking and whistling the whole time we were inside even though we had the headphones in, so his talking was not useful and he didn’t respect the rules at all. Also on the way there you can see a lot of monkeys which is awesome just be careful with your belongings, they are very smart😄

I'm glad I went, but wouldn't recommend if you have a tight schedule for other tourist activities.
The whole place was VERY touristy. We prearranged a van to pick us up from our hotel. The drive was estimated 2 hrs. But they stopped at a zip line park without any warning or explanation. We did not participate as we only had planned for the underground river. We didnt want to hike in flip flops. Other travelers who went on the zip line and cave hike said that it would be difficult for anyone tall or big.
We ate at the outdoor filipino buffet restaurant (cost included in underground river tickets) before our tour. It was good considering the mass amount of people they were feeding.
There were lots of people waiting at the Port. Then lots of people at the beach. Then lots at the lagoon. Each boat that took you to the island sat 6 people. The boat ride was enjoyable, but you definitely can get wet from the waves. You take another boat to get to the cave, where they give you hard hats to wear.
There are bathrooms on the island, but they are not western style.
Beware of monkeys, snakes, and bats.

A must visit if you're on Palawan. It's a UNESCO world heritage site and part of the new 7 wonders of nature. It's about a 15-20 small boat ride to get to the landing area.
They'll warn you about the monkeys who can be aggressive or take small electronics. As long as you don't look them in the eye and keep walking, they'll leave you alone. They'll give you a number and call it when it's your turn. Underground River tour is about 45 minutes round trip. They give you a great narrative and turn the flashlights on and off to point out different highlights. It's impressive how dark it is when they turn off the flashlights. There's a lot of bats inside, don't look up with your mouth open.
Highly recommend this tour.

The place is very magical and enchanting.
I just hope that the local and national government will continue protecting this wonderful national park.
The ambiance of this place is very mesmerizing and jaw-dropping.
Be careful with your belongings as macaques are present within the area.
Maintain silence because you might disrupt the animals existing in the cave system.
Audio recorded tour is available for all visitors, including Koreans, Chinese, Japanese nationals.
Better come earlier so as not to join the hordes of tourists who constantly flock the site.
Expect a tinge of smell as you pass the cave system as there are a lot of bats inside. Help the locals by giving extra tip for their good tour guiding.
There's a photographer who takes a lot of photos. At the end of the tour, you can claim the pictures for a price. Don't worry, they take a lot of great photos that you can choose from. But if you prefer, you can bring your phone but avoid putting it in flash mode as you might disturb the animals inside the cave system.
You will be seeing a lot of stalagmites and stalactites that resemble fruits, vegetables, church figures, etc. Enjoy Palawan!

I can't say enough positive things about this National Park. It's truly a spectacular place and one of the most impressive natural wonders I've seen.
Located on the western coast of Palawan, it's home to the world's longest navigable underground river, which is an incredible sight to behold. The river winds through a maze of limestone caves, and the walls are adorned with all sorts of stalactites and stalagmites.
In addition to the underground river, the park is also home to a variety of other attractions, including a beautiful cave system, a pristine rainforest, and a number of endangered species.
I highly recommend visiting if you ever have the opportunity. It's an unforgettable experience.
Here are some of the things I loved:
The underground river is truly amazing. It's hard to believe that something so cavernous and beautiful can exist underground.
The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including monkeys, birds, and bats.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they help make the most of your visit.
The park is well-maintained and easy to get around.
Here are some tips for planning:
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet.
Allow at least 2 hours for your visit.

One of the most unique experiences I've tried so far. Imagine spelunking but you are on a boat. I was amazed by nature's beauty and how it coalesced into this spectacular wonder. It was scary especially at the start because you are entering a completely dark place with the light just coming from the bankers' head lamps. You will also smell the urine/guano-filled air because of the thousands of bats who live in the cave. But you'll be amazed by how big the cave is and nature's sculptures inside (the stalactites). The tour was also well-organized. 5/5

Imagine exploring the breathtaking 7 wonders of the natural world! It's truly an experience like no other. However, be careful not to feed the monkeys or leave your belongings unattended as these curious creatures may sneak up on you and steal your things. Voted one of the 7 wonders of the world!
A Subterranean River surrounded by limestone formations! It's like spelunking but now you are comfortably seated in a canoe rowed by a professional boatman. There is an audio guide while you tour the river, and the pace coordinates with the rowing. The boatman will also shine his torch on notable features. Enjoy the chapel and the market, and remember not to speak to avoid noise disturbances in this fragile environment and not touch the formations! Don't open your mouth either when you look up, unless you would like to taste some bat poop.
Gotta take a larger boat from Sabang Terminal to transfer to the canoe here. Very peaceful place. Love it.

This place is amazing, best cave formations you will see in South East Asia! Magical subterranean river, peaceful boat ride, fantastic and scary rock formations, almost a religious experience entering the cave and floating deeper and deeper into the mountain void in darkness....
We were 4 friends, organized the trip by ourselves, we arrived by a car. The waiting time by the office ticket was insane, guides with big groups arriving all the time and coming to the front of the queue... What a waste of our time!
After you stand in one queue to get your names registered, you then get to second queue to pay for the tickets, and then third queue to get onto the boat, what a mess. We waited for hours and hours.
The boat ride was a bit rough and loud, there were big waves but it was safe. Arriving at the destination, it became more organized, our names called to enter a smaller, silent boat with a guide and audio recording. All worked smoothly for when you enter the boat, so good luck and good patience for everyone who decides to organize the seeing themselves. All in all, it is indeed worth all the hazle to spend one hour on a different under mountain world, maybe go with a group tour instead.

Pamuayan Waterfalls is a beautiful tourist attraction located on an island with both seawater and fresh water, providing travelers with the option of diving in either one. The road to get there can be tricky, but it's a quick and easy 15-minute walk from the entrance. There is no entrance fee, but a donation is expected upon registration. The waterfall itself is stunning, with a nice pool available for swimming and refreshing oneself after the journey.
Great place to cool off. Donation at registration desk. Went on motorbike, road is good. Can get a little busy mid-day but quite in late afternoon. Trail to the fall takes 20 minutes and can done in flip flops.

This waterfall is not special in any way. It is just a waterfall, close to Port Barton. You can either walk around 3-4 km or take tricycle for 150 PHP one way per person. You also have to register near the waterfall and leave optional donation. The waterfall is small, reaching maybe 10 15 meters, you can not climb it and jump into it. Water is nothing comapred to Cebu's waterfalls. If You have time, do it or don't. You won't miss much.

Very nice waterfall. The road to get there is quite tricky, as pretty much every road in Port Barton. Then there is an easy 15 min walk to get there. There is no entrance fee but they kind of expect a donation when you register to enter. There's a little hut with coconuts and drinks by the waterfall. Nice pool by the waterfall to refresh yourself and swim.

A different spot to see in Port Barton. Super recommended if you stay there 2-3 days. You can walk a little bit from the town and then take a nice bath in the waterfalls.

The Pamuayan Waterfalls are not so big but they offer quite a refreshing bath after the long way to get there. We were lucky to be the only ones there so we could enjoy it at the most.

Firstly I beg all people who visit this place, please bring some food for this poor dogs, there is so many too skinny wonderful dogs, it’s so terrible. And people there treat them like rats. Some place is nice, road to waterfalls is easy and green, so many beautiful plants. Waterfall is really nice and it’s worth to see.

We drove up there in our hire car. You don't have to park in the first signed car park, there is another place a few hundred metres further on which will mean less of a walk. After parking it's about a 15 minute walk, shoes better than flip flops. Surprisingly some people arrived without swimming costumes, but to me that was the nicest thing a swim in the cool waters.

👍🏼🤙🏼
We 👣walked +/- 45 min all the way from Port Barton🌴 to the Pamuayan waterfall. Make sure you take enough water💧 and if possible water shoes/flipflops. You'll cross some small rivers. At the end of the road there's a beautiful hike close to the river. When it rained☔ the path will be muddy. They ask for a small donation at the registration point just check what other people give that day 💸 and find your way. We swim👙🩳 at the waterfall, the water was a bit chilly but really refreshing.
We combined our walk to Pamuayan Beach🏝️ and had a beer🍻 at Evio's. Beautiful relaxing and quiet beach🤩. The restaurant sells food as well. Went back to Port Barton by a local boat! Don't pay to much. 500 for 4 people is enough.

Went through an easy 20-min trail to see this waterfalls. The water’s cold and it’s not too deep. Had a very refreshing afternoon here.

It's fairly easy to get there by motorbike - you can rent a motorbike from Port Barton or San Vincente. The hike was fairly easy, took us 20minutes to get to the waterfall. The entrance fee is by donation basis and you can pay at the registration area. We went there around 3-4pm and got the whole waterfall to ourselves. It's quite magical... the water is so cool and refreshing. Perfect place to go after a long day of island hopping.

Amazing place to go to! You will be fully emerged into the jungle and feel free from the busy city life. Great place to swim and enjoy the sounds of the nature and ofcourse the water. I do recommend not to go there when there was a ton of rain that day or the days before because the path to the waterfall may not be walkable because of the large amounts of water. The waterfall can be a lot bigger then it was on the pictures because when I came there it wasn’t rainy the whole week.

You don’t need a guide to go there. Find a travel blog which has written step by step guide to the falls and you are perfectly fine. They expect you to donate but you don’t have to.
We walked there from Port Barton within 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Excellent place where to take a swim and cool down after a hike.

A brief bumpy ride from port Barton followed by a short 20 minute walk will get you to this superb place.
No payment required, you just need to sign in at the first hut on your way in. You can't miss it!
With fantastic views and various wildlife to look out for on the way you won't be disappointed!
If you've forgotten any essentials, fret not as there are various vendors on the way with reasonable prices, but I would recommend bringing everything you need!
For any thrill seekers out there you can jump from a couple of the surrounding rocks as there is quite a deep plunge pool. But as always, be careful and do so at your own risk!

Very beautiful waterfall🤩 Short walk, about 15mins from the car park, small donation required 💵 Definitely worth a visit ❤️
You can carry on, along the dirt track to Bigaho waterfalls as well (not on google maps) 🗺️

My first waterfall in the Philippines. I walked most of the way, it could been done without problems in early morning instead of mid-day Environmental fee is 100 pesos. I'm not sure where the money goes!?
Waterfall itself is good for cool off and spent an hour or so. Little swimming area. They have a toilets on site.

Long Beach in San Vicente, Palawan is a stunning 14.7-kilometer stretch of fine white sand and calm waters, flanked by coconut palms and dotted with moored boats. It's known for its tranquility and is perfect for leisurely walks along the shore. Accessible from San Vicente Palawan Airport via a short tricycle ride, Long Beach offers a peaceful escape compared to other beaches in Palawan.
It’s been four years since I got here and Long Beach never failed to amaze me. So Grateful to be back.

Beautiful beach next to San Vicente. Very peaceful compared to other beaches in Palawan. We spent a whole day here and were basically alone, probably a couple more people.
Many palms offer plenty of shade as well!
Not many amenities around, so bring your own food/drinks.

Located on the northwestern side of Palawan Island, it is home to the longest white-sand beach in the Philippines and the second-longest in Southeast Asia, aptly named Long Beach it was very good value for money. It has the best nature, environment, white sand and clean water. The best for family bonding and beach activities. Will go back again!!

One of the really pristine beaches in the Philippines and lets hope it stays that way with all the upcoming developments that are on-going.
Beautiful soft sand (still virgin, so beware of nik niks - don't scratch); Gradual sloping of the beach, nice waters and accessible waves for swimming and beginner surfing.
Best place to witness the most beautiful beach sunsets too!
Patrick Andrew Tanhuanco — Google review
The beach is nice and clean. No people when we went there today at 4pm. But only thing is that so many sandflies. I can't stay longer.

Longest beach in the Philippines - Long Beach, San Vicente, Palawan.
I love bringing our dogs here for a morning or an afternoon walk. Sunset is pretty when the sky is clear...
My dog, Kel, enjoys this beach as much as I do and I would say that you get the privilege to enjoy the whole beach all for yourself.
Also, if you have a motorbike you can bring it with you... only it if it's lowtide and you can drive from Turublien all the way to the end.
Best time to visit is during Summer or August (there's something about August that makes the surrounding more colourful and peaceful - IMO)
If you are planning to visit then please don't forget to bring your swimwear and take a dip 😉

It's not crowded, public and a long range of shore that you can explore. The locals are very nice. Not commercial. So you can have all day chill and have your peace by yourself. They also have turtle conservation programs. San vicente is one of only two eco towns in the Philippines. Island hoping, beach chilling, waterfall adventure or over looking mountain hills is what they offee..

I've been there last March, and I find it so fantastic! simple living yet, exciting!!! I love the sunset and the white soft sand, and even the clear clean water... I wish to live in this place someday....

Enchanting seaview, fine white sand, mellow water and sparwling beach. It is situated in San Vicente, the municipality in northern Palawan after Roxas and before Taytay.
Among the longest white beaches in the Philippines, much longer and more beautiful than Boracay, this unexplored paradise is best for swimming, relaxation, peace with nature and fun with friends. At night, a good campfire makes the place more romantic as the great expanse of the sky is just upon your eyes as you lay in the sand.
Recommended for kids and family, groups and cliques. Bring insect repellant to be sure but there isnt much mosquitoes along the beach. If you will stay overnight in the resorts, there are available establishments to choose from. But being in a tent and just on a swing is also very relaxing and safe.
There is a beach just at the start of the Long Beach which has good stine formations and a little cave. Ask for the Molo Beach and look for Josephine whonis a gracious host for simple travelers. She has a little gut and good supply if water in her area and a sikole but clean toilet and bath with the view of the sea.
