Cool place for horse racing. You can place bets via online apps or you can buy tickets onsite. Restaurants available onsite and maintenance is very good.

Great horse racecourse for a fun evening. We went with our 2 kids on a Saturday evening for the 7 pm race. It was very fun and enjoyable and lots of kids around.
The picnic tables are right in front of the race track which is great to see the race up close.
We used the betting app “dark Horse bets” and it made it all very convenient.

Loved the casual atmosphere and open & airyness. Wander around, grab a drink or some food, watch the races or head to the casino! A nice evening out!

Was an okay experience at this racetrack. Beer and food prices are extreme. Over $10 a beer. We were one of the first people to the restaurant but were told you need a reservation even though the place was vacant. The only other option for food was a small BBQ stand. Not the best environment for fun in my mind.

Went for dinner and watch the races. Got our table earlier than the reservation. Had to wait forever for a waitress. Found our the host was suppose to inform the waitress when new guests arrived. Seemed like they had a shortage of wait staff this night. Management seemed to jump in and help out. Wait staff were very pleasant. Had the fish and chips which were good except the tartar sauce left me feeling nauseous. After we finished our food our order came to our table again. We noticed that this happened to the tables around us as well. Seemed like quite a waste of food. Apparently the cook was on vacation and there was a replacement cook sending orders to the wrong level and not clearly orders. Unfortunately a couple tables left due to having to wait too long.
All in all a good experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a night out of entertainment!

Fun place, that's what you want for a night out. Had our super over looking the track watching the horse racing. Food was good staff were all very very friendly and kind.
My one issue is that the tables and seating is much, much to tight and I can't stress that enough. People with any type of physical or weight issue will find that a big problem.

This location has a racetrack and casino. I went to the Casino on this day (racetrack was not even open) and Google asked me how it was. I gave a 5 star review and the "owner" replied to this review and said "we don't operate the casino". Sounds good!

Fantastic race track and casino. Been to mohawk a few times to watch horse races and never disappoints. Such a beautiful place and always nice. Tried the harvest restaurant overlooking the track and food was awesome. Never been to the casino but assuming it's nice in their.

Enjoyed watching the horse races. Good amount of public seating available although when there's big races it pays to get there early. They now have machines to do betting at with just a few live people left where you can bet and cash winning tickets. There is a good restaurant where you can book a table and watch the races but it's a little pricey. Lots of free parking so that is not usually an issue.

Group here to celebrate two birthdays. Staff could not be more accommodating. Our waiter Blair is an absolute delight and Todd has visited our table several times to make sure we sure we are satisfied. Love this place. Such a fun night

No cost to watch 👍
Ample free parking 👍
Fun for the whole family.
Various outdoor food options but inside Tim Hortons kiosk very small and ran out of food.
Casino is ok but not as good as the Niagara Falls experience. Needs more roulette tables

1st visit in a long time. Group of 8. Exceptional Service, Blair was courteous, prompt. Selective menu, dinner good, a bit pricey mind you. Probably on par with similar venues.
Definitely will visit again!

Great location. But there are not enough handicap locations close to the door. I was parked almost at Guelph Line, and still no handicap spots. I know this was a special event, but maybe golf cart shuttles would have been good.

A good place to enjoy a summer night, especially kids are welcomed for the racetrack. And we enjoyed the game with good luck. Parking is easy. The food is better than my expectation. Just noticed there are also lots of other fun activities here, will be back again.

I love this place!. And as work at this place for a very long time and have learn a lot of thing's about rich as poor and how you show yourself as in front of people to get what you really what you want to learn. That is on how much people that will come to you, but really in all of this is on how you reach out to people!. This will count in your life on how you open your mind to learn as time goes by because we all don't stay as physically young ✨️ 💯, but as time goes by we learn but we don't stay as young as are book that been mark and written by someone or by many to make that book ✨️

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is a museum that features dozens of Canadian military planes, as well as aviation exhibits and flight simulators.
Such a nice place to go with kids for fun and was very knowledgeable as well. It was very exciting to see war planes and how they work. Kids can actually sit in fighter plane cockpit and learn some features of plane ✈️ . Even for adults it’s very good and unique place to visit. Felt really proud of our soldiers. They also have cafe and gift shop . Gift shop seems expensive but they do have few unique items to buy. You need maybe 2-3 hours to see this place. Overall wonderful place to visit.
Navneet Sidhu — Google review
It's worthwhile to visit this place. You can spend 2-3 hours here depending on how interested you are in aircraft and Canadian aeronautics history. Kids can also have some fun as they get to sit in the cockpit of real fighter planes and if you are 12 and above they have a flight simulator as well.

Girlfriend took me here for a visit. It was a great experience overall. It's beautiful and a true staple of real world history. The volunteer guides are also great and provide you with a great deal of knowledge and expertise. The older gentleman, Mr. Alex, in particular was great and really enthusiastic to share his knowledge of the place and the history attached to it. They even let you sit on some of the planes and when the weather is good, you can fly in them.

We went with a group of 30 seniors. We had called ahead, so we had 3 tour guides. Wonderful tour guides, highly recommended to add to your experience of the museum. We have seen the Lancaster bombers fly overhead, now we were able to see how massive they are! Take your kids and grandkids to learn about the sacrifice many young men made for our freedoms. We were gratified to see a display about Operation Manna where food was dropped into the Netherlands after the hunger winter of 1944.
Thank you to your amazing volunteers!

I was stunned to see the actual warplanes in the museum. We were team of 10. Special thanks to our genius tour guide "NIKITA". He was awesome throughout the visit. He explained everything very well and even answered our questions. During our visit, he never seemed to be tired and was very eager to show us everything about almost all the war planes. If I were the owner, I would have given him raise. Keep on saying same things is sometimes annoying, but it seemed that he was enjoying his job and guided us the way like a professor. I really appreciate him and whole team of the museum.

This has been the most amazing experience I’ve ever been to in Canada. Every single person that works there interacted with nothing with positivity and love and care about the place and also educated. I won hundred percent recommend this place but also to bring your kids to teach them.
Thank you for an amazing tour and I cannot wait to go back again.

This place is always fun. Lots of classic planes and the staff are friendly and always willing to provide information. We have never done it, but they also offer paid flights on classic aircraft which would be awesome. There is a good selection of classic warplanes and training aircraft. Well curated with lots of info on displays. The Lancaster is so impressive up close.

This is one of the absolute best things to do in Hamilton. It's a fascinating look at the aviation technologies and hardware throughout the RCAF history, and to be able to get a good look and information about the planes.
The staff is VERY knowledgeble and also very friendly. You can book flights on some of the historic planes, but we chose not to. Also on dry days there are some other planes outside the building, we missed out as we were visiting during a downpour.
A great place to take kids too.

Probably one of my favourite places to visit; I go often alone just cause I’m fascinated. Last time; they had vintage wheels and wings, which was super fun! Definitely recommend checking this place out; there’s so much to see at the museum as well!

Excellent! We were met at the entrance by Mr. Tony Houghton, a volunteer at the Museum who guided us around the Museum for a couple of hours. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The boys, aged 4 and 8, enjoyed his attention to take them on a private tour of numerous planes where they could sit in the cockpits; and, he provided them with interesting and fun facts about the planes. We also enjoyed our lunch at the Museum’s Runway Cafe. The Museum is well-kept, the volunteer staff is courteous and the historic planes a must-see! We recommend this as a great place to bring kids of all ages, especially on a rainy day.

It's quite fun for everyone. Kids really enjoyed it, and so did I, but kids need more interactive stuff for kids to do and be more interested and aware of the history of these beautiful planes and the magnificent people and what this country has done for the people. also more information about all the planes, like guides telling people about what aircraft they are admiring and information about it. I found that alot of staff were just standing around or sitting around talking to each other and not actually doing anything like answering questions.

It’s a lovely museum. I would say for plane enthusiasts and those interested in the history of Canada’s war efforts, this place is amazing. The staff are doing a great job restoring the old planes and the guides are very knowledgeable. For the average person it’s worth a visit.

This place is next level. It went beyond expectations. Service was so good everyone was so polite and welcoming.
It has a great history pilot was so experienced they explained everything in detail.
My son enjoyed this place very much he use to point aeroplanes in sky, he was excited to sit in one.
Overall we had a great family time together here.
In summer we are going for a ride in one of the plains.
Enjoy your visit.

The Canadian Warplanes Heritage museum is a fantastic place to go to. Seeing these vintage aircraft on display is amazing. The hangar is full of Canadian military aviation history that everyone should go and see. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and have lots of stories about the history of these aircraft. The hangar is very clean and you can even go for a ride in one of their vintage aircraft.
You can jump into the pilot seat of some display aircraft, look at the avionics instruments, learn about aircraft technology, like engines/ ejection seats/ armament, and see how museum staff and volunteers are restoring these vintage aircraft back into an airworthy condition.
You may like seeing the beautiful art pinups girls or wacky characters that was painted on the aircraft's nose to boost morale of airmen and airwomen who served in Canada's armed forces.
I loved going here and you will too. If you like my reviews, videos or photos let your thumb soar high in the sky.

A truly outstanding area, so unique and rich with history. There is something special about this museum, the volunteers who work here are full with enthusiasm about the planes.
This is a fantastic learning experience for all tourists or enthusiasts in the local area. I definitely recommend this place.
Big thanks to Rick and the Scottish gentleman (sorry, I didn’t get his name) who educated me on the history on the lancaster plane and many others. Amazing.

Amazing museum, a must visit! And they are extremely sweet and helpful. They give u ana amazing tour and tell h stories of how the planes went through the war and were rebuilt. The cafe too is really nice good portions very wel priced. Lastly you also get to sit in 3 of the planes. It’s a very cool experience! And they have a flight simulator too. Must go with kids.

You will enjoy your time here if you like airplanes and history. You will learn a lot from these airplanes. Some are still air worthy and some are just for display. You can also go up to the cockpit of certain airplanes. If you really like to experience flying with these vintage airplanes, you can buy a flight from 20-60 minutes depending on the aircraft. Check their website for details. Don't forget to check their gift shop on your way out.

My son and I visited in June 2023 and absolutely loved it! Great staff and a beautiful collection of aircraft inside and outside. Well stocked gift shop. Going again soon! I'm a ham but nobody was in the radio room, maybe next time!

Nice museum a bit smaller than expected. The gift shop is pretty good, there’s a runway cafe you can eat and if you’re lucky you may get to see planes taking off / landing. The key part of the museum is you get to sit in the cockpit of about 3 planes… that’s pretty cool.

Our kid would love to provide his review on his amazing experience on Saturday , Feb 17 ( over the Family Day Weekend ) at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum .
I visited Canadian Warplane Heritage museum during the Family Day weekend in 2024. The place was busy and lots of families were visiting. They had lots of things to do and a ton of planes . The gift shop was near the entrance and was very big . There was quite a few build up airplane models to choose from . I picked an F-119 model. There was an astronaut session followed by autograph line up .
The various country flags displayed at this centre denoted the countries participated in receiving training in flying.
I came across a model of a plane showcasing how and where it carry’s its missiles on the plane. Also, I got a chance to hop onto a passenger plane which on warmer weathers takes flight. I saw the cockpit . It had loads of navigation related set ups . This plane takes a round of Niagara Falls at 35,000 ft height .
There was also a giant inflatable planetarium . It took me on a ride to the moon also explains how the craters are formed and every few million years lava arises from inside of the moon .
Overall the experience was really good . The only issue was parking was full and we parked in the over flow parking area.
The staff were very nice and explained how the planes worked . Kuddos to the team for organizing such an exciting experience .
If you are 12 years and above you could also take part - Flyzone at Canadian Warplane Heritage museum . I look forward to this next year as well !!

I recently visited the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were immersed in the rich history of Canada's aviation contributions during WWII. The highlight of the visit was definitely having a tour guide. Their passionate storytelling brought the planes to life and moved us emotionally with tales of bravery and sacrifice. Learning about the restoration efforts behind each plane added another layer of appreciation for the museum's dedication to preserving history. Without a doubt, this museum is a must-see for anyone interested in aviation or WWII history. Highly recommended!

It's always fun visiting the Warplane Heritage Museum on a rainy day. They have loads of aircraft used by the Canadian military from World War II and later. If you're lucky, you can see the engineers working on the aircraft, you can walk around the hangar, step aboard a few of the planes, and in the spring to autumn months even pay for a flight on one of the classic aircraft. They have a cafe onsite if you're hungry, and also flight simulators if you are interested. Great for young children.

Mountsberg Conservation Area is a great place for birdwatchers and nature lovers. You can watch entertaining shows and see animals like owls and hawks. The area also has beautiful trails for hiking and biking.
Just moved here from Ottawa and came here for the Sugar Bush. Maple Town did not disappoint!!! It was actually one of my better Sugar Busy experiences! The animal farm and the many little shops were great and very well taken care of. The Raptor Conservatory was nice to visit as well!
Would definitely recommend this place to young families or couples of any age.

Nice area.
If you have a kid I definitely recommend to visit this park. The good place to see the raptors of Ontario and visit farm animals.
The parking lot was big enough and visitors centre was next to parking.
Visitors centre had clean washrooms, place for changing dipper, hand sanitizer and shopping store.
There were several pathway options for walking with different levels of difficulty. We had toddler so we got the green line which was flat and around 1km. This path is going on birds of prey and continue to lookout near the lake and small garden. (easy to go with stroller)
There are some picnic area, but the BBQ is not allowed.
The admission fee is:
Adults
$9.75
Seniors
$7.75
Children (5-14)
$6.75

We got here on a Maple Syrup festival.
It was fun time for kinds and seniors.
We saw how they are making the maple syrup now and how that was done before.
There are nice trails in the park. It was several stores to get maple syrup products and tested the pancakes with it.
We did not purchase the tickets upfront, that could saved us couple buck per person.
It was cool to visit a little zoo/farm, it was very well maintained.
Nice place, will visit it again once it is warmed.

Went during the maple syrup festival. It was fun and the workers knew what they were talking about. The animals were so adorable too! Just wish we could have pet the horses. Admission was reasonable but the cost of other things - gifts, coffee, pancakes, etc was a bit on the costly side. It's more so for children not for teens.

Visited Mountsberg for Maple Town last weekend from Toronto, and I was very impressed by the conservation area - it was so well organized, with great staff, and will keep you entertained for quite a few hours!
The Maple Town is only a couple hundred metres from the parking lot. They have a delicious pancake breakfast (the pancakes were huge!), demonstrations of the historical development of maple syrup making with a staff member providing explanations, a very entertaining talk/demonstration in the sugar shack, wagon rides, and more. All the staff members who we met (including the guy manning the gate) were friendly, welcoming and cheerful. They're amazing. Would recommend at least two hours just for Maple Town for a leisurely breakfast, stroll and listening to the talks.
The park itself also has extensive trails, including a short wildlife loop, where there was supposed to be bison, although we didn't see any (maybe because of the season).
We also did the raptor experience for an extra $10 per person, which I'll cover in a separate review, but it was so well worth it! Definitely makes me want to come back during the summer and try their other experiences.

We went for Winterlit and it was magical. The displays are beautiful, trails are well lit, hot chocolate is free and there are lots of bonfires with seating along the way. This is a beautiful conservation area anytime of year. The bird sanctuary is an added bonus for up close encounters with owls, eagles, hawks and falcons.

Beautiful area, easy trails, near Toronto. Different activities are available depending on the season. A nice bird collection (caged because they are suffering from a condition and cannot fly), stables, and carriage ride in fall and winter. Makes for a fun and relaxing city get away.

Mountsberg is a great conservation area to visit! There are picnic areas, nice trails, and many opportunities to learn about the raptors of Ontario. There are guided presentations which I recommend, especially if you're interested in taking unobstructed pictures of the birds. My daughter (age 5) loved it and was able to ask all her questions.

Fun place to spend a day. Raptors were awesome and Adrian did an excellent job providing information and facts about the birds, their home, habitat and habits during the Talons and Tailfeathers Experience. Lots of walking trails to enjoy. Picnic areas were useful and pleasant although some tables were in need of repairs. Lots of things to see and do. Trails, animal barns, raptors. The day campers appeared to be having a great time. The gift shop was well stocked. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Our family absolutely loves Mountsberg! Of all of Conservation Halton's parks, this one easily wins the "most kid friendly" park. They have a natural playground, farm animals, the Raptor Centre, easy to hike trails, the sugar bush, etc. We've always gone in the morning and found it so quiet and uncrowded.

Maple Town at Mountsberg is the perfect destination for a family outing during March Break. It's an educational yet enjoyable experience for kids, offering an interactive learning opportunity for kids about maple syrup production. Kids get to learn first hand the process of extracting maple syrup and its transformation into various products. The highlight of our visit was the Mountsberg Sugar Rangers Challenge, a fantastic activity that not only entertained but also educated kids about maple trees, syrup extraction, and the importance of preserving our environment. My younger one was thrilled to receive a certificate, and was excited to take it to the school. While the pancakes looked tempting, we found them to be a bit overpriced, so we opted to skip them. Additionally, I would advise purchasing tickets in advance for the wagon ride and other paid activities, as they tend to sell out quickly.

My family and I went for the sugar shack event and it was wonderful. My kids mostly liked to explore the are. And it's such a nice, beautiful and well kept area. We had the pancake breakfast which was nice. Pancakes were as big as the plate! A bit pricey for me but we did it anyways. They had things for the kids to do as well around the area. The also had a cute food spot with different variety of foods. The park was made from wood logs, branches and a tunnel. My kids could have spent the whole day there if I let them. The farm on the other hand wasn't the best for me. They didn't have much animals there. The birds of prey was quite interesting, my daughter was very fascinated.

The Spencer Gorge Wilderness Area is a great place to hike and view waterfalls. The area is reservable and perfect for nature lovers who want to escape the city.
It's a nice place to go for a walk. I enjoyed the nature and the environment. I got to see the waterfalls and the river A few times, I went during the fall and I got to see the beauty of the colourful leaves. I went with my family over the years to see this wonderful place. Every visit, I was smart to wear comfortable shoes, because there is alot of walking. In the warmer weather, I carry a water bottle, incase I get thirsty. They do have parking, but we had to pay to park our vehicle.

I paid 15.50 for a ticket at the gate. The gate would not open when scanning the ticket "invalid ticket" I purchased it from the box 2 inches to the left. I think not. The button for help wasn't any. The people on the other side did not open the gate they tried. It didn't work and then cut the call short.
Mind you other people were in the park. They were leaving. There were no hours posted (we went at 4pm) and it happily took my money.
I'm frustrated at Spencers gorge.

Beautiful spot to go in either the spring, summer or fall - would not recommend in the winter (no maintenance). This used to be a place you could go freely, wasn’t overly packed, and parking was cheap. Now - you have to make reservations, I believe they tell you it’s a 2-3 hour time slot and then you’re risking a ticket, it’s pricey for parking, and pretty crowded. However I do recommend this spot for photoshoots during weekday days (less busy), and the scenery makes for great photo ops!

great views and well kept trails. The loop took us an hour to walk at a calm pace with stops so its easy for many to do. Also having porta potty's on site is helpful.

The view was nice as long you knew where to take the photo, the directions to lead you to any Waterfall hikes was just awful, many were confused and didn't know where to look...
I had trouble in finding this very Waterfall with a few friends...we managed to find a good spot to take photos only because we got recommended by other photographers that there was a good spot to take photos but you would have to risk and climb over the fences which says do not climb. We toke the risk but it was worth it.
Ideally I wouldn't recommend people who have no experience in climbing down a cliff to do it... Because it could be dangerous

The forecast today called for moderate rain. I wanted to cancel my reservation but it was too late (You have to cancel at least 48hours before). So glad I was unable to cancel though. It had rained earlier in the day but there was no rain when we got there. The weather man is not always right.
The Tew falls side trail is a moderately challenging hike. Lots of steep climbs at some points and because it rained, parts of the trail were quite slippery but overall it was a lovely hike which took us about 2 hours out and back. The high points of the trail are the Tew falls and Dundas peak lookout. Not much else beyond that.
Things to note:
1. The Tew falls trail does not take you to the bottom of Tew falls. Getting there is via a different trail which is unmarked.
2. You need a reservation which gives you a 2 hour window. For 1 person you pay $26.
3. Portable restrooms are only available at the Harvest road end of the trail where the parking lot is.

We drove nearly 3 hours to see the falls. Tews falls is beautiful. Websters falls is further down the road and was also really nice. Almost every Porta potty was pretty gross with urine on the seats but that's to be expected, so not a bad idea to bring a pack of sanitary wipes with you for that purpose.

Websters Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Hamilton, Ontario. The falls plunges 72 feet and has a scenic view of Spencer Gorge Conservation Area.
Beautiful waterfall, probably the biggest that Hamilton has to offer. You need to reserve a parking spot, so plan accordingly. Has a big park for kids to play, it also has a covered area for picnic.

fence all around fall? How we supposed to see or feel real beauty of fall? And there is no access to get at bottom of the fall, i am sorry totally waste of money…..you only can catch this beauty from far.

Nice little waterfall in Hamilton Ontario. Reservations are required to access the conservation area. This location is not great for strollers but a short walk kids. We were able to see the falls from the top.

It's a nice little clean park with a waterfall and couple of bridges. Pricey entrance fee for this place. There is another waterfall (Tew Falls) and Dundas Peak about 15-20 min walk from here.

An absolutely beautiful set of falls. Each season Webster's falls looks completely different, but always breathtaking. We usually park down the creek at Fisher mills park and hike up to the bottom of Webster's. It's a fantastic hike, a bit difficult at times but we'll worth it.

Beautiful but a challenging hike. Sometimes getting lost leads to beauties like this 😍

The signs there were too confusing to read, can't even tell where you are and which way to go. Nice fall views, but can't even get close to see the fall. The trail is pretty short, can finish in 40min is you walk relatively fast.

It's a beautiful fall, but not worth the cost of entry and parking. The receptionist said that there is no way to go at the bottom of the fall from conservation area.

Took the “hush hush” route to the base and it was so worth it. Good flow, even during drought conditions. Beautiful views in the gorge while trekking to and from the falls.

We got in a fabulous 10k challenging hike from Cascades Park in Dundas to both Sydenham and Webster's falls and back.
The water wasn't the only thing falling on these trails.😀 🫣
With the high water levels, the trail was almost washed out in places with several trees down along our path. Parts of the trail were very narrow adjacent to some pretty major drops. Other areas were muddy, rocky and very slippery.
3 of us fell but fortunately weren't hurt too badly but the spectacular waterfalls the end of the trail were worth it!!

Entry ticket is almost $10 per person to this falls. It’s better to have a reservation for parking beforehand. It’s a good picnic spot. The falls is great though.

Movie-like bridges
Enjoyable trail;
Good to take lots of memorable photos of nature!
Full of butterflies in July, and of course flies that don't mind biting you 😉
Loved the whole experience!

Nice and easy trails. Could not get good pictures of the fall colours because the line of sight was blocked, however the waterfall was amazing.

The Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate is an elaborately designed Roman Catholic church built in the Gothic Revival style. Constructed in 1883, it boasts twin towers that dominate Guelph's skyline from its highest point. The church features intricate carvings and beautiful stained-glass windows depicting religious scenes that create a serene atmosphere inside.
Beautiful church, around an hour drive from Toronto. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Basilica is of the High Victorian Gothic Revival style, inspired by the Cologne Cathedral, established 1876 (see plaque).
As you enter, there is a life size crucifix to the right, reminding the faithful to prayer. To Jesus through Mary.

This Roman Catholic Basilica is built on the highest point in Guelph and gives you a great view of the surrounding area. The architecture is stunning with intricate carvings and two imposing towers on the outside.
Inside you'll find a very peaceful space with a very high ceiling and stained glass depicting many religions scenes. I'm not sure if the public is allowed up into the towers but I'm sure the views would be spectacular!

Gorgeous church. 😍
When we went there, there was a wedding tho, so we weren't able to go inside and infront of it so we had to stay aside. Luckily, it's beside the Civic Museum and Garden of Grace

Basilica of our Lady has been one of the most beautiful cathedrals that I ever seen in Ontario just the history behind it gives off a amazing look and view we last came here in 2021 to check it out during the summer months amazing just amazing!

I was in Guelph for an unrelated matter and went to visit the Basilica (note I didn't buy actual tickets but only walked in and visited the public areas). It's a beautiful church, nothing to compare to french cathedrals.of course (I'm from France) but very beautiful nonetheless. I was lucky to be there a Thursday afternoon while an organist was playing. It was amazing... I would love to go back to attend an actual organ concert if I get a chance.

Such an incredible piece of classic architectural wonder. From the incredible limestone to the Christian stained glass windows, this place is a sight to behold. Inside the church, its splendor is breath-taking.
I was here setting up for a wedding with #blackpinefloral and her gigantic floral arrangements seemed so small when placed near and behind the altar.
Beautiful place to be married!
Congratulations Alexandra!

Went there couple of times but saw it closely for the first time today.

Visited on a rainy sunday. The church is breathtaking inside and out. Lots of parking spaces. Seating capacity is good. Great place for attending mass in Guelph or nearby areas.
Apparently, there are supposed to be spires that were removed due to safety concerns. Overall, the church is still breathtaking.

From ages 3. 7. 12. 14 all were excited and impressed as well as the rest of us adults. Dropped by on Canada Day and was surprised to see the door open. Going in made to read the sign to enjoy looking around and taking photos but also asking us to be respectful by being quiet, removing our hats and not bringing in drinks or food. Fair. The stain glass was a treat as well aa the interior architecture which was impressive as the outside. My 14 year old daughter was in awe. Very nice church indeed. I wanted to break out into verse of Holy Holy Holy lol.
It was a beautiful stop and a memorable one which cost us nothing.
The Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge is a contemporary venue that accommodates up to 500 people. It features state-of-the-art facilities and offers a variety of live performances, including musicals, plays, and live bands. The sound quality is exceptional, with live musicians and vocalists executing professional acts on stage. Additionally, the theater offers snacks and drinks during intermission which you can bring back to your seat for added convenience.
A lovely theatre. Easy to get there by car and lots of parking. Comfy seats and friendly staff. I recently spent a weekend as a backstage volunteer for a show that was renting the theater, as well as an audience member. Loved the experience from both sides of the stage. Staff were caring of the audience and enthusiastic and supportive of the performers.

It was wonderful watching the Jersey Boys. The staff were friendly and helpful as we had a bus load unloading all at once. I could watch the whole show as the seats are slanted, each row lower than the next one. The sound was sharp and clear. A bit of a wait for the washrooms but they were clean. The building is beautiful.

Facility is modern and well equipped. Seats were pretty comfortable, acoustics seem good, at least the sound seemed great. They permitted us to take intermission drinks back to our seats which was nice. The production we saw was live musicians and vocalists. The act was very professional and well executed. Great intimate venue to see a musical production, play or live band.

This was my first visit to the HFT. My children and I saw the Sound of Music which is a family favourite of ours. Great performances by all, especially Maria, the Captain and children. The group singing of the actresses playing nuns was especially moving as they sang so well together. The performance of Climb Every Mountain by the actress who played the Reverend Mother was especially wonderful. When she hit the high note at the end I got teary eyed. Intermission was a bit rushed due to washroom lineup. Lineup for refreshments was also long though we didn't partake. All seats in the theatre seem to have a good view of the stage. Theatre was clean. Staff were pleasant. Will definitely come again.

The show itself was excellent (kinky boots). The theater however was ice cold and you could feel A/C blowing on you. People had jackets on, many just froze. The rows of seating were so close together that average sized people could not get by each other. I'm 5'2 and had JUST enough room for my knees. They need to have ropes to organize the concession stand lines. There was a large line that divided the room in half, blocking access to the bathrooms for those on the opposite side.
Production was great.

Loved it ! Evita was absolutely flawless and a real delight to experience. We were in the balcony with a perfect view of the stage, dancing and wonderful singing from the lead actors and chorus. What a great adaptation of this play. Not even one mistake during the entire performance and not that we would likely notice anyway. Bravo to Drayton’s rendition of Evita !

Lovely theatre but not particularly disabled friendly: far too few handicapped parking spaces and if you use a rollator or wheelchair, seating is limited to the back rows or the side boxes - the main theater has steps down to the stage from the back rows.

Beautiful facility but freezing cold in the middle of winter (December 10 2023) Even the two larger woman and man I was with were cold. As 90 percent of the audience looked to be over the age of 75 I don’t know if they did this to keep
Them awake but this is also the age group that needs to stay warm in addition to smaller people like myself who are also anemic and suffer from circulation issues. Thankfully I carry heat packs with me.
Overall , fiddler on the roof was an amazing show !

We went to this fantastic venue for the opening night of Jersey Boys. Great place to see a great show. Not a bad seat in the house!
Bonch Loomans — Google review
The theatre itself is a center for this community. It is well maintained and clean. We saw a "modernized" version of Jersey Boys. Although the music and story stay true to the Era, I was put off by some of the 'modern street language' used in the dialog. Maybe I am getting older, but looking around the audience, there was 90% grey, silver, and white hair.
I do not understand why the language has been changed the way it has.

The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is a tropical garden that houses approximately 2,000 butterflies and exotic birds. Visitors can explore the insect area and receive informative guidance from staff members like Avery. The butterfly area itself is stunning, but visitors should note that it's quite hot for the butterflies, so they should follow any instructions given by staff about coat storage. Inside the conservatory, there's an affordable café with limited vegetarian options.
Came here with my wife and 5 year old. We absolutely loved it. The insect area is very underrated with great information from the nice lady in there, Avery.
The butterfly area itself was beautiful. Also, keep in mind it's very warm for the butterflies so when the lady says the coat room is down the hall, it's a good idea to listen and do that.
There's also a cafe inside which is surprisingly very affordable, however, if you don't eat animals, not many choices.
I'd allow about an hour to see everything in here. We budgeted a bit more time but that wasn't necessary. Unless you plan on eating there.
It was very cool though, a definite stop on the way to Toronto or anywhere in that area.
5/5.

Butterfly conservation park in Cambridge is an escape to tropical environment. They have a variety of botanical specimens which grow in Asia and South America. They have a huge collection of butterflies which are incubated and maintained in a perfect setting. There is a man-made waterfall with fishes and turtles. The staff walks around with caterpillars and rare species explaining it to visitors. The kids had a blast with butterflies landing on them and playing with them. There is an exhibition outside the controlled environment. It showcases spiders, scorpions, poisonous frogs, beetles and worms. The cafeteria at the side has a patio and has basic sandwiches, hot and cold beverages. They have enough parking space. Tickets are 20$ for 13-65 yrs, free for <2 yrs, 15$ for seniors. Overall 4.8/5. It is a great place for Wedding or event photography.

This place is smaller than the Niagara one. The staff was super friendly and polite, with a wedding going on the cafe was closed but the staff will still get you some things like drinks and snacks. The gift shop ladies were awesome. Thank you to the two ladies in the gift shop, I really needed that water after how hot it was inside with the butterflies Birds and insects.
My Date and I came here for our second date. this was a great idea, we had fun and took a lot of pictures. I'll upload them for the public to view.
although hot, the butterflies were still landing on us and showing us some love, it was an enjoyable experience. I would recommend everyone to come here. butterflies are very transformational beings, when they land on you they are letting you know change is coming for you. the kind of change for some that changes their lives forever. In shamanic traditions butterflies tell us change is around the corner. be prepared and allow these changes to open us up to the new and sometimes challenging experiences.
Visit this place! it's worth it.

Walking through the main part of the conservatory is breath taking the different flowers and butterflies make for a very colourful walk through their man-made forest. We went with our 2 year old and he was fascinated by the different butterflies. It was a very relaxing afternoon in a tropical atmosphere. The blue morpho butterflies flitted all over the place, landing on our heads and shoulders. It's not only butterflies here, though. We saw some small birds, ants, a parakeet or something in the parrot family, goldfish, and two turtles.
It wasn't too full of people. We were there right over the lunch hour. Everyone was so calm it was okay to see them enjoying this bit of paradise. If you have time, a must see is the hatching. If you're patient you might see a butterfly ease out of its cage and stretch out its wings to dry.
I was pleased to have a butterfly land on my finger and rest there for a while. They are such dainty creatures with funny feeling feet. Truly a miracle not made by man!

I recently visited the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory with my family and friends , and it was a nice experience. The cost was okay, and you can easily spend 2 to 3 hours there. I recommend going with a group for more fun, especially if you have kids—they'll enjoy it. Inside, it's warm, and they've created a kind of artificial tropical weather with many exotic plants from India. There are lots of different butterflies flying around, and they might even land on you if you wear bright colors. Besides butterflies, you can also see other insects in exhibition rooms. There's plenty of parking available too. I highly recommend this place, especially during winter; it's one of the rare places where you can see trees and butterflies during the colder months. Kids playing area is not open during winter.

Fantastic little getaway immersed with nature and beautiful creatures no matter what time of year! Slightly pricey but I feel it is worth it especially if you truly appreciate what a marvel nature is. I encourage everyone to take the time to learn about a butterfly's life cycle, have a seat and make a checklist of all the different varieties you see and ALWAYS share your experience!!! Get as many people on the butterfly train as we can! Please be mindful where you walk while in the sanctuary as many butterflies take their rest times on the ground

One of the must see spots in Brantford!!!
As a child in school, when I used to hear that Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone, I was always fascinated to learn more about him. This trip was the answer to my desire for that.
The Bell house has been maintained really well. There is a guided tour and it is advisable to book prior to going there, since they take only few people at a time. There is a small entrance fees, but I was able to visit free since I used canoo app.
The guided tour was one of the best tours I have ever attended. There is a small video show prior to the tour and also a souvenir shop. They also have a small cafe with a mini menu.
Now about the tour...
The tour starts with the explanation of the Bell family s story of migration from Scotland to Canada. They take through the house which has been maintained amazingly well. The art work of Bells mother is simply great.
The house gives you an insight of an upper middle class family back in the day. From the visitors room to kitchen to bedroom all have amazing stories to tell.
The equipments in the house are also fascination. They have olden day washing machine, stove, etc. They also explain the functioning of everything.
They also have set up in the nearby house in the compound with a small mini telephone exchange to see how the telephones worked back during the day.
We also bought a small olden telephone as a memory.
Truly worth the money and time.

Unfortunately we visited during the weekend but still it is worth it though we saw it only from outside. It has a museum, Alexander Graham Bell's parents house from where he invented telephone and neighbor's house where fist telephone office in Canada was started.

The Bell Homestead National Historic Site is truly a gem that delves into the life, works, and inventions of Alexander Graham Bell. With an engaging and informative guided tour that transports you to the era of Bell's brilliant mind, this experience is both eye-opening and enlightening. The knowledgeable guides help to weave a captivating narrative that brings history to life. For history enthusiasts, and those keen to appreciate the finer details of Bell's remarkable accomplishments, the Bell Homestead visit is an unmissable and highly recommended opportunity.

Want to know more about the history of telephone development in Canada? This historic site is not to miss.
On our way to Paris, Ontario, we visited the Bell Homestead National Historic Site at Brantford, where Bell and his family lived. Here is where Bell invented the telephone a few years after Canada was formed.
If possible, spend time to join the tour, or if not, just enjoy walking leisurely in the garden and imagine yourself as Bell.
Later, we visited the city of Paris, and we found a plaque on Grand River Street N. telling this is a site where Bell received his first long-distance call from Brantford. Amazing!

This place is a must visit to those who love history. I loved every bit of my time spent here. While I was taking look at each invention of Sir Graham Bell, it took me back to thoughts of them old days when the world & technology was yet to evolve.
You will be able to take a guided tour inside Sir Bell’s house ($20), the guide will tell you every details of the items kept there & there also will be screen of a short documentary. There also a cafe next to the house where you can enjoy some great snack & coffee.
The grand River flows by the house, there are corn fields on the front. There’s a lot of love elements aswell like a swing, chair that Mr&Mrs Bell would spend.
The best time to visit this place will be summer or fall. A pre booking for a guided tour should be done as it’s timed & available at specific time of day with limited people.
It’s a good place to take children along coz it’s going to fascinate them more & show how far we’ve all come in this evolving technology.

When you visit Brantford, this is a must on your to do list. The history is remarkable, the stories so real, and the tea house is absolutely delicious. Be sure to visit, make a reservation and indulge in this locally inspiring experience for at least 2 hours. Don't rush! Cheers, Spicy Jan

I've gone there before ages ago and it was interesting. But the tour we took today was really informative. Jillian did her absolute best to answer our questions and made sure to include my 9 year old into the experience. The ticket prices are reasonable ($10 adult, less for seniors and kids). The tour took a bit over an hour, and it's limited to 8 people or less at a time, so it's a good feeling because you're not in a giant crowd.

Victoria Park is a renowned urban green space in close proximity to downtown Kitchener. It boasts a rich history and notable clock tower, along with amenities such as a lake, versatile sports facilities, and a playground. The park's well-maintained grounds feature charming small bridges that traverse picturesque ponds. Numerous play areas and refreshing water fountains provide ample entertainment for children during the summer months. Additionally, Victoria Park offers a club where parties can be reserved.
A beautiful place with a very pleasant atmosphere. Especially during spring. No eateries nearby, so don't forget stuff some in your bag or better go for a picnic

Very nice park close to downtown Kitchener. Love the small bridges across the little ponds. There are quite a few play areas for kids and water fountains to beat the Summer. It's well maintained and can be crowded during summer specially on weekends. It also has a club available for party reservations. I usually go for a small evening stroll. Overall good vibes!

I'm just amazed at how beautiful this park is. It's gorgeous. Got a huge play place for kids and a splash pad. Really nice trail that goes in a circle around the park. There's fish in the pond!! It was serene.

My kids love this park. There are multiple play structures, swings, slides, a splash pad & tons of greenspace for games. Some areas are dedicated to younger children, as well as more challenging areas for older kids (my son is 13 and still loves this park) overall a clean park, structures are in good shape. Beautiful spot just to walk through as well. They do have public washrooms here and ice cream trucks / food trucks come through in the summer.

Victoria park is at the heart of Kitchener close to the downtown. The parking is a bit limited but there are some roadside parking available on parallel streets. The park has evolved over the years. There is an in-flux of goose infestation nowadays, because of which there are droppings everywhere. I would take a closer look before I put down my picnic blanket. The park has beautifully constructed bridges, well maintained gardens and a children's playpark. Take your snacks and water as there are no stores or water fountains nearby. The place gets really busy during weekends so if you have a wedding shoot planned arrive early morning. If you are lucky you will meet the beautiful swans and ducks floating under the bridge. There are strict instructions at different locations to not feed the birds. It is a good place to spend your evening sunset or a family gettogether.

Beautiful place with a water splashing playground for kids. Good for a walk and has clock tower nearby making it more interesting. A little bridge in between with beautiful view. However parking would have been a problem despite of having 2 parking lots. It’s busy on weekends !!

Very peaceful and relaxing park with lush green grass and large playground area. There is a small water pond as well but needs maintenance and cleaning. There is dedicated walking track and sitting benches all over the park. Finding a parking could be challenging over the weekends as it’s in the middle of residential area. Overall good place to visit with family, kids n elderly.

St. Jacobs Country Playhouse is a cozy and well-sized theatre located in the southwest of the province. The lobby features a bar and can accommodate most guests, while volunteers help you find your comfortable seats, which offer great sightlines and perfect sound. The parking lot is spacious, and the tickets are reasonably priced for the quality of performances offered.
I recently seen a country show with a live band. The staff where beyond welcoming and warm. I felt gently guided through all the covid restrictions without ever feeling like a burden. The seating was comfortable and refreshments where affordable for that type of venue.

A very nice small theater. All seating gives you a great view and the acoustics are very nice so it's easy to hear the actors as they perform. Lots of free parking and even a nice place outside to have your drink or snacks during the intermission.

I visited St. Jacobs Country Playhouse this fall, and watched Mary’s Wedding, a romantic drama. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys theater.
The theater was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The play was beautiful and moving, and the actors were superb. They made me feel the emotions of the characters and the story, the design elements were simple but effective.

Dec. 2019, saw Sleeping Beauty with our 6 year old grandchildren. Huge cast, great costumes and a lot of fun. A Panto so they could boo the bad guy, etc. A bit thin on plot but tons of songs and dancing. They loved it.
2017: We took our 4 year old triplet grandchildren to see The Little Mermaid on Wednesday. wow. Fabulous costumes..a cast of about 30 ... great music...The kids asked if they could see it again. (no, but it confirms they loved the performance)
Not a huge theatre in St. Jacobs so there are no bad seats.
If this were in Toronto, tickets would cost $125 to 200. Drayton Entertainment is so much more affordable. They don't have many events for children but the performances for adults are usually worth four stars, in our opinion. Always good value in any event.

We had such a great time seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat here. Very small venue which means no matter where your seats are, you will have a great view. We were very close to the front and the dancers were waving and gesturing at my daughter. It really made her first experience at a live play exceptional.

This cozy theatre is the perfect size. The parking lot is large and surrounds the building. The lobby can accommodate most of the guests and features a bar for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The seats are only a few stairs down from the lobby. Volunteers help you locate your seats, which are comfortable and wider than most. There isn't a bad seat in the house, and the sound system is perfect. The tickets are always reasonably priced and a good value for the quality of the performances.
Next door to the theatee is a very good, reasonably priced restaurant. There is a hotel on the other side and lots of shops within walking distance.

This is the first time I visited this playhouse and watched the "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat " performance. The theatre is not too big, seats are comfortable . The whole production is an unexpectedly high standard show. The singing, dancing, light & sound & backdrop are all 1st grade level. A great experience. Will go and watch some other shows in the future.

The auditorium was perfectly sized for the performances. The feeling is intimate and there is not a bad seat in the house. There is local beers and wines available and they are permitted into the auditorium during performances. (*At least they were during the Panto which we watched.*)

Third year attending. For a small town theatre the Peter Pan pantomime kept the Grandchildren entertained. Some of the same actors, similar "adult humor" gender/political etc. One noticeable difference is how during the performance they marketed ice cream available during intermission. My personal preference is that they would reconsider this sales pitch! Will likely go again next year.
In sept 2020 we spent about 5 nights in the wilderness suite. It was a wonderful experience and had the best time relaxing with nature. Many of the activities/breakfast was close due to COVID but the area is beautiful so spent a lot of time chilling by the fire and hiking. Our suite was truely one of a kind... the outdoor shower was amazing and so fun to take showers outside. We went on a half day kayak tour and saw some wildlife. Would def go back.

Excellent experience, the employees make this place. Always going above and beyond for you, I was more than thrilled.
Nice yurts with modern amenities, wonderful water pressure on the showers. So many things on site, a local brewery a restaurant, zip lines and an observatory. There's an excellent winery within a five minute walk. Nice walking trails and if you mountain bike you should definitely stay here.
Ultimately I cannot say enough good things about the staff though easily the best part.
We will be back.

Love this place!! The location is perfect, to explore the surrounding villages, towns, wineries and parks.
Read the recommendations, and brought warm clothes and extra blankets, even though they provide a heating blanket under the sheets (it was the last weekend in October). The beds are very comfortable.
The staff are Incredible and very accommodating!! They replaced the wet wood with dry ones almost immediately. We loved hanging out by the fire. The fire pit was why we booked here instead of a hotel.
Loved the convenience of being able to dine at the patio restaurant on site. The food was very DELISH!!
We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great weekend getaway!!

Amazing romantic getaway.
We booked Wine and Romance Package under the stars along with zip line tour. The package included one night stay at King Wilderness Suite, Wine tasting tour at The Burning Kiln and dinner at Normandale Century Inn and observatory star gazing.
Wilderness suite was awesome. Bed was comfortable with electric blanket. It had Private flush toilet and outdoor shower. Soap, shampoo were included. However water was so cold we could not get hot water in our tent.
Night campfire was lovely. Due to cloudy weather the star gazing was cancelled.
Zip-lining was great and guides were helpful and knowledgable.
Wine tasting was wonderful.
Loved the dinner at Normandale Century Inn
Overall it was good experience. Everything was well organized. Just felt that it was expensive.

A wonderful time, we booked our stay later in the year (mid October) and the tree colours were just amazing. It did get pretty chilly at night, but the room was equipped with a space heater that kept it nice a warm. We booked a bike tour and a mushroom foraging class and the instructors were easy to talk to, very educated in their field, and I walked away learning more than I thought I would. I will definitely be booking more classes and adventures in the future.

We had our Wedding reception dinner at Long Point Eco resort and it was GREAT! Maybe it is not your first thought that it would be a venue for such an event, but let me tell you it was perfect and so enjoyable !
We got several compliments on our venue choice for being unique and cute!! We also stayed there in an elite pod which was so fun and easy. We had some guests coming from Washington State stay at the eco resort as well and talked about how cool of a place it was and enjoyable. So if you also have an event with people traveling from out of town this is a bonus that long point eco reserve offers accomodations and activities for them to enjoy if they want to!
I loved the Forest Pavilon, they opened up the sides and it was a great blend of indoor outdoor space with a wonderful breeze on the perfect day.
The food was also delicious and we got several compliments on it. They also provided a delicious and beautifully plated vegetarian dinner option for the guests that requested it.
Everyone we worked with was a pleasure, so accomodating, responsive, helpful and kind. There was no nickel and diming us for little things that other venues will do since weddings come with a cost premium. They let us bring our own seltzers and cake and even provided plates and utencils for our deserts we brought for no extra charge or stress!!

The location to the Burning Kiln, the staff, and the grounds were all incredible. We stayed in a king Safari tent and it was great for the price. The shower is very rustic but nice to have attached to the tent. What surprised me most is how close the fire pits are to one another. I would consider coming back if attending another concert across the road at Burning Kiln.
I imagine this place would be incredible in the fall!

I can definitely say this is one of the best adventures we did. From the accommodation, the food and the activities they have-you will always want to go back. We celebrated our anniversary here and we couldn’t have been happier. Hubby even said we should’ve booked more nights so we can explore more of what they offer. We booked one of the elite pods and it is soooo amazing. It’s like living in a modern hobbit house-a small house with complete amenities, yes it has a complete bathroom so you don’t have have to use the outside showers😅.
The food was amazing, it’s just a little too salty for us. They are also under staffed so there’s a little bit of a wait but we didn’t mind it because we were enjoying the wine and the beer they brought out for us to taste.
We were supposed to do the observatory experience but it was canceled due to the lightning. We were okay with it though because we were enjoying a camp fire infront of our pod while looking at the stars.
There are several hiking/biking trails in the area as well and it ranges from easy to difficult. We opted for the moderate trails and we enjoyed it so much, well except for the snakes we saw on the way but they already warned everyone about these creatures.
We also did the axe throwing and we had a blast. Our guide is really helpful in explaining the how to’s of the activity.
Overall, it was one of our best glamping experiences. We will definitely be back and will bring the kids next time.

Stayed here for a work retreat in August and was impressed with the experience overall. Pods were a unique accommodation (though a bit hot when you first arrive - no windows were open) and the clusters allowed our group to hang out and use the bonfire. The showers were clean and I didn't get a chance to use the hot water as there was a power outage at the time no water heater), but everything seemed to work just fine.
Meeting space was adequate and accessed via 2 flights of stairs, and meals/snacks were done quite well both for the meeting and for dining in the restaurant. The food was particularly delicious, generously sized and fresh, which surprised me and my team in a good way.
Our team also did ziplining and the observatory tour - both were fun, but the observatory tour was particularly special and Tab (Tabitha?) as our host was terrific - she's a great storyteller and kept us captivated! The fancy telescope and seeing some cool objects through it was also quite special - not something you can do every day normally.
Trails were also fun to explore and definitely helps to have a trail map from the front desk. I only wish there was water accessible for a swim onsite, but the beach is a 10 minute drive away.
To bring: Flashlight and soap/shampoo, bug spray.
My main feedback is that the check-in process was a bit uncoordinated and I worry too casual since names/details were not checked or confirmed. I also didn't have hot water in my pod, but otherwise no complaints,. Would visit again!

A to Z (Allison and Zack) were fantastic guides for the zip lining. And I’m not saying that just because they refuse to unclip me from the line till I finish this.

Its a great way to spend a few hours and A2Z make sure you have fun.

Beautiful location! Greeted by friendly and helpful staff right away. Our suite was lovely, perfect for someone (like me) who appreciates and enjoys nature but desperately loves sleeping in a bed.
Our suite had its own little deck with table and chairs with a nice private fire pit for the evening. Firewood was provided which is excellent for a not so outdoorsy person such as myself.
The view from the restaurant was gorgeous, so peaceful and relaxing. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly, adding to the entire experience. Many activities available on site, from walking paths to zip lining and an observatory.
I will 1000% be headed back, it was a perfect little getaway that I wish I had booked for more then 1 night !
Highly recommend checking this place out

I experienced Long point for my first time this past weekend and I must say I was well beyond surprised at how incredible this place is. The amenities were well maintained, the beds were comfy, and pods were very clean. With spectacular views of the marsh, beautiful hiking trails, and fun activities, I would 100% recommend visiting at least once. I would say that there is need for improvement with the restaurants menu as I was a little disappointed with the quality of food for the price. I would love to see a more crafted seasonal menu or at least a more revamped menu. I felt it was quite lacking. Overall though the service was impeccable and the view was breathtaking. I would love to see them other movies after dark in their main field. I think a fun free double feature would be great for family’s, especially as they offer popcorn as a snack already. I think they would really do well with show casing a family friendly movie and than a more adult friendly movie like you see at drive-in’s. I would also love to see more games throughout the property that could potentially get campers more involved with one another. Something a long the lines of a summer camp style as I felt like I was at adult summer camp and I just think it would be a great way for people to interact and make new memories and friendships. Overall though my stay here was absolutely great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and supplying the firewood for free is a great feature. I will gladly be back again :)

My sister and I recently stayed at LPEA and had such a great experience! The activities were fun and everything was made even better by the great staff - they were fabulous. We started with axe-throwing which was a whole lot of fun. Our guide was Nate and he gave great tips to help. The next day we did the kayaking tour with Leanne and Mike who were outstanding. In the evening we did the observatory with Tab who was so knowledgeable, seeing Saturn was a huge bonus. We did Zip Lining with Allison and Jayden who were hugely entertaining. Excellent wines at BKW, those we tried were quite light, but flavourful. Their Cab Frank (yes that's the correct spelling) was very nice. Those wines that use their kilns have a unique flavour, quite different than those that don't.
The Canned Heat patio at the winery has a varied selection to chose from. A bit pricey for lunch but treat yourself. The Lobster Roll was delicious. As was the Pickerel Po' Boy was fantastic with it's deep fried fresh fish.

Had a great visit to Burning Kiln today to sample their contribution to the Spirits of the Season event. Pairing with their Prime Pinot noir was a delicious little Christmas dinner bite - turkey, cranberry, fresh rosemary on a wrap. My partner sampled a flight as well.
Lots of outdoor patios for the warm months and a large event space as well. Today, they had seating areas set up around firepits for a cozy outdoor experience.
The background story of tobacco farms evolving into vineyards and the tobacco drying kilns being repurposed to dry grapes to create wines in the Italian appassimento style is fascinating.
Burning Kiln is a worthwhile destination at any time, but I'm looking forward to a warm weather visit for patio season!

Lovely patio space and a laid back local atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian friendly options - more than meat options even! (rare) Everything was made fresh and the service was great! Good variety of wines, tastings or by the glass and many local beer choices too! Check out the concert series offered in the summer - they sell out and they've got some surprisingly excellent bands/musicians. Makes a great stop on the extensive local mountain bike trail network!!!

Following Shop the Shore I decided to stop at Burning Kiln on my way home for lunch. I was at the end of the line and the people in groups or couples ahead of me ordered their flights. They were told to sit down and their flights would be brought to them. After they were served the bar staff disappeared for awhile while I was left standing there. Finally one girl said to the other - you better serve the lady. I said I wanted to try the flight for Shop the Shore to decide which wine I was going to buy as 2 of them I had not had before. I was handed the flight and awkwardly had to carry it through the glass door to find a table - I was the only person expected to do that while I was there. Next I noticed every table around me was offered a menu, water & had cutlery placed. Not one staff member offered me anything. So I quickly finished & left. I was disgusted as I live nearby and have supported many of their events and concerts over the years. In 20 years of solo travel as a sales rep only one other place ever treated me this badly. Will never return - I am done with buying Horse & Boat!

It was a great experience we tried some of the best wines during our wine tasting session. They have 2-3 different options and packages for wine lovers. You can take a tour and tasting package or can stick only to wine tasting and can explore the winery yourself. The server was kind and shared with us the history of the winery and how they come up with the names of their wines.

After a wine tasting at Burning Kiln winery the aroma of food got the best of me. I was able to place my order at the wine tasting bar and choose my table in the casual dining room to enjoy an amazing bowl of potato bacon soup and a Caesar salad. Both dishes arrived in a timely fashion for homemade bowls. The soup was like a stew and now I’m wanting to go back for more but I’m 2 hours away. The Caesar salad is a great salad option with warm bacon crumpled on top.

Nice park. Always full of kids easy for children to play with one another. Just watch out for that rolly slide as it has left marks on kids legs and looks like it could possibly pinch fingers. A lot of different activities for all ages even for the younger ones. Has a shaded picnic area with tables. Baseball diamond. Restroom area. Has a pond area as well and floral area with a mini rock water fall.

Beautiful park that sprawls over a large area of land. There are several sections to it that, at first glance don't seem connected but are! There is a large pond with many geese, a stream that branches off into quiet spaces with lots of grassy areas and trees, a park for children, a skate park, paved walking areas, pavilions for gatherings, gardens, and more.

This is a great place that has lots of hidden gems! They have everything from baking supplies, salty snacks, candies, fudge, kitchen accessories, and art! Literally everything under one roof. If we had more space in our luggage I would've definitely loaded up on more items! Great customer service as well!

It has been a while since we were here last. The store never fails to add new and awesome products. We bought 3 very special Christmas gifts that you probably can't get anywhere else.
All the candy and other items keep you wandering for as long as you like. The store was busy, but you never felt crowded. You can't go wrong with Coyle's County Store

Outstanding place to visit! So much to see, and take your time, you don't want to miss a thing! Love it!

Always a cute stop on a country drive. All kinds of snacks, goodies, home goods and decor to choose from in an old fashioned country store setting. Prices are reasonable & excellent selection including Arva flour, j.r Watkins, vegemite, Bechtel German noodles, humbugs (mint candies), maple syrup, ‘Man Bar’ from the San Francisco soap company, local fudge and SO much more.

Coyle's is the perfect daytripping destination if you find yourself passing through Tillsonburg, ON. As you enter the store you're immediately greeted by the welcoming aroma of cooking spices, roasted nuts, fresh fudge and candy. The store is a baker's delight, featuring well stocked isles of bakeware and kitchen accessories. At this time there is not a ready to eat baked goods section aside from fudge, however you'll find a variety of jams, chili sauces, honey, maple syrup, chocolates, pickled produce, birdseed, lawn ornaments, cards, soaps, candles and home decor to take home.

Coyle's is such a gem. They merchandise the store well, so it has the feel of an old country store with a modern flair. They have unique food products and is a baker's dream. It's also a great place to get gifts for others, especially those that are difficult to buy for. I can't recommend this store enough.

This place has EVERYTHING! Bulk section, Christmas section, and anything you need for the kitchen. Love the ponchos and sweaters. Best fudge EVER here! Something for everyone! Definitely worth the drive from London.

I was shocked to see the price of certain products! The prices have become absolutely crazy. This used to be a great place to get spices and baking ingredients, not anymore. Bulk Barn is more reasonable now.

[Parking] There is plenty of free parking in their paved lot out front.
[Accessibility] the whole store is my fully wheelchair accessible and the front door is fully automatic!
[Atmosphere] The decorations and set up are warm, cozy and homey.
[Service] the staff is really friendly and helpful.
[Products] They have a lot of variety in terms of baked goods, nuts, snacks, fudge, etc. I always want to buy more than I should.

Love, love, love this store.
It’s a very eclectic, knickknack, specialty kind of little store. Everything from unique decoration, ideas, to bulk baking items. It’s a very unique place to find the little things you didn’t know you needed.
I will go out of my way to go to the store although it is a 20 minute drive from my home. If you’re driving by on Highway 19 S. towards Tillsonburg take 1520 minutes, stop and take a quick walk-through you’ll be rather surprised.

Contemporary venue at the Stratford Festival with an intimate seating area around a thrust stage.
Gorgeous new theatre! The setting is stunning, on the river. The stage is intimate; not a bad seat. The food and beverage bar is spacious, also saw that pre-ordered refreshments were set up as soon as intermission began. I'll remember that for my next play. So happy that the Stratford Festival is back!
Colleen Murray — Google review
Gorgeous theatre. Set in a beautiful locale at the side of the river with swans, herons, and rowing teams on it. The theatre is all gleaming glass and bronze-coloured metalwork and is stunning. There is a large paid parking area and on-street parking available. Inside there is loads of space for the cafe, gift shop, and many seating areas (standing tables, seated tables, and soft settee areas), and includes an outdoor patio accessible from the cafe area. The bathrooms are large, accessible, and very clean and well-stocked with paper and free sanitary items. The theatre area is staffed by very helpful, friendly, and well-informed personnel. The theatre is such that there really is no such thing as a bad seat. There is a stage that projects out into the room which is surrounded on three sides by banked seating. The stairs are steep and have handrails on both sides, but, for those needing help with using stairs, the staff are quick to offer either a helping hand or access to an elevator that goes to the stage floor level.

The new state-of-the-art Tom Patterson theatre is gorgeous both inside and out. It's been expertly designed to compete with all other world-class theatres. Beautiful! Can't wait for the 70th anniversary season to begin!

An amazing experience in a beautiful, light filled and airy theatre. The common spaces never felt crowded. You can see the river from wherever you are in the lobby. There were an ample number of washrooms and no queues.
The theatre space is lovely and seats were velvety and comfortable.
Be sure you enjoy the outdoor patio and the adjacent garden.

First, try the cafe for dining. My sister and I were delighted to have a riverside view, incredible food - so much better than expected. the cafe is open 2 hours before each performance. and the theatre is so well designed, from every seat is an incredible viewing experience.

We were here to watch a play during Stratford festival. Unlike the traditional stage to one side and audience seated to the other, this theatre has stage to the centre and audience seating around. This gives a different experience watching play and makes us appreciate the performers for their effort in capturing every corner’s attention

Exquisitely redesigned theatre and the gardens will certainly fill out as time passes. Loved the outdoor spaces and the beautiful textures of golden steel outside - and cream brick and marble inside. I wish the theatre seats were more comfortable but the thrust stage is intimate and powerful.

One of the finest Festivals anywhere. Top quality shows, venues, experiences. I've attended since 1979. More than worth the drive from the US.
Robert Doyle — Google review
The theatre has ample parking and is well located in town with a nice lobby, good range of snacks/drinks and lots of seating for pre-show and intermission, but we felt that it fell short in two areas. The theatre seats were very uncomfortable...firm bottom and back to the seats, very flat and a bit short on the seat back. As a 6'2" guy, my back was aching by the end of the show. The other was acoustics. I have been going to Stratford for years and found the actor's speech very muffled. They were seasoned actors so I doubt it was a projection issue, but other theatres by design tend to acoustically amplify the speech...everything just sounded dull and muffled to our whole group...made it that much harder to follow the story/plot.
Russ Mair — Google review
Inside the building on a bright sunny day is enchanting. The lobby is large and U shaped giving the audience space. The cafe and dining area on the river side of the building could be from a fairy castle the transition from outside to inside feels so fluid. Stairs come in at the top - if you have trouble stepping down you will want the back row. The stage is in the same shape as the old building - thrust. Seats are much larger, velvet and firm. Bathrooms have a large number of stalls. There are bars on both sides of the lobby but the river side is also setup as a cafe.

It was my first time at the New Tom Patterson Theatre in Stratford. Saw the play Wedding Band. Fabulous, fabulous performance. I sure hope have an opportunity to see another play there again soon. The way the seating in house has been configured, you can see everything clear and without obstruction from the person in front of you. Cleverly designed! The thing that was different in this theatre was you could take your drinks in with you. Not sure if I like that as the potential of being spilled on could happen. But maybe not??
Darlene C — Google review
Oh...my...goodness--what an extraordinary metamorphosis! The new theatre retains the intimacy of old, so valued by those of us addicted to Shakespearan performances. Yet the new facility is expansive, connected to the physical location along the river, and world class in its physical beauty. The sound is extraordinary, the experience reclusive. Hariri could not have done better in a single detail...an extraordinary architectural execution to a difficult transitional objective. Perfect! Bravo! Thank you!

Tom Patterson Theatre, 111 Lakeside Dr, Stratford, ON N5A 3C1, Canada
The Avon Theatre, a well-established performing arts venue within the Stratford Festival, boasts a traditional proscenium stage that hosts various plays, musicals and concerts. Visitors have the opportunity to take a backstage tour and browse through the connected gift shop. Although private boxes are available for those seeking privacy during shows, some views may be obstructed. The theatre showcases exceptional actors and elaborate sets to enhance audience experience, with productions such as An Ideal Husband receiving high praise from patrons.
An excellent theatre with outstanding actors and marvelous sets. The seating is good and you will certainly enjoy your time here. I saw An Ideal Husband, which I would also give a 5/5.

Went to see Chicago with a bunch of community members of the retirement home I work for. Amazing performance! The most entertaining and talented singers and dancers, and incredible staff! Even though we showed up a bit off schedule, the staff—especially the manager—just immediately helped us and got us into our seats in time for the show. So helpful, and had an amazing experience all around. Definitely recommend for anybody and everybody!!

The Avon Theatre is right in the heart of downtown Stratford, which makes it so easy to visit! It's a beautiful theatre, renovated most recently in the 1990s, but in the traditional theatre style of old. I was there quite a bit this past year because it's where the Rocky Horror Show was playing through the Stratford Festival. IT WAS AWESOME!!

We were very happy with how we were treated. We booked balcony seats and my mom has a walker. There are quite a few steps to get to the balcony and one of the workers stopped us right away and said she would find us seats in the special access area. They did and my mom didn’t have to do any stairs! Everyone there treated my mom like a VIP. We were so impressed! Thank you to everyone who helped!! We had a wonderful time!! We highly recommend the Avon theater to watch a show!!

I love the Stratford Festival so much. The Avon is a great theatre. They offer a behind the scenes tour, which I strongly recommend. The gift shop is also connected to the theatre which is a nice way to spend some time before the show starts. I don't recommend sitting in the private boxes. While nice and private you do miss part of the show for things that happen near stage left or right depending on which side of the theatre your box is on.

My first time attending an event here - Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis. Fantastic show. Great seat. Colin Mochrie, improvisor extraordinaire, and Asad Mecci, amazing hypnotist gave the audience an unbelievable, mind-blowing, "hotter than a pizza pocket", hilarious show.
Will be back for "Spamalot" in April.

Nice theatre overall, very friendly staff! The seating is very cozy, as in knees against the back of seats if you're tall or a larger person. The ambience is beautiful and you can see the entire stage without obstruction due to how the seats are positioned. The gift shop had some great finds as well.
Christina Pigeau — Google review
The theater is beautiful and staff are very friendly and helpful. But oh my God those seats we had were miserable! I'm 6ft tall and my knees were pulling up to my chest. I was so sore when the play was done. I know there are probably roomier seats but I'm sure that comes with a price. Gotta make ALL the seats comfortable gang.

Great way to spend an afternoon at the Avon Theatre in Stratford. Spamalot was a great production with humor, skilled dancing, and stunning vocals. Beautiful theatre - and as they recommend a wee sweater is in order. A bit cool in the theatre. Spamalot was crazy good. The actors hit every line. Did not expect to laugh that hard since I've seen the Holy Grail countless times. The dancing was incredible. The singing was on another level. Loved every second of it. Oh and the women... All of them absolutely gorgeous 😍

Beautiful theatre. I’m a tall guy, so the balcony seats are too tight for me, but the orchestra seats are comfortable and provide plenty of leg room.
Michael Schroeder — Google review
Incredible theater. Very helpful staff made finding seats extra easy, and good flow for quick exiting after the show. Sound system was good, but occasionally the music overpowered the singers voices. Nice location with plenty of interesting businesses around to visit after the show. But parking can be challenging to find. Did not get anything from the refreshments or visit the amenities.
A hidden gem in the area. Who would ever imagine getting close to a cold war era submarine, not to mention getting into one?
The tour was extremely well conducted by a volunteer, who shared a lot of fun facts and fascinating stories. The internal space is cramped (as a sub should be), but well maintained and ventilated. Just watch your head if you're tall.
Give it a visit, it is worth the drive and you won't be disappointed. Advance booking is strongly encouraged, as they only run group of 5 tours every half an hour due to COVID.

A piece of both Canadian and World History.
My wife and I visited the HMCS Ojibwa this afternoon (12 tour) and had a wonderful time. The guide was very knowledgeable, and the tour (about 60 minutes) was well worth the admission price. I would recommend it to Canadians to experience what it was like to serve on a submarine for 3 months at a time.

What an awesome experience!! Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ve been on a couple of submarine tours, mostly in the States and this was by far the best (and biggest). Ian, the executive director, our guide and curator of the Ojibwa was knowledgeable on all aspects of the vessel. Well worth the trip from anywhere within southern Ontario and the Lake Erie/Ontario bordering States. Will be back again.

Total surprise to me to learn that the local military museum had a Cold War submarine that you could take a tour through. Apparently, the museum went to buy a tank one day, and ended up with a submarine!
Very knowledgeable and friendly guide, fascinating tour. Unfortunately they were filming a movie while I was there, so we were only allowed to see the forward part of the boat. Obviously I must come back some day.

What a cool find in Port Burwell! This is a really really REALLY awesome museum, worth the long trip for the kids and adults to experience and learn about this part of Canadian history. The whole family had so much fun just taking it all in, amazed at the technology and the people who sailed it. Drove from Long Point to this place and have to say the drive was great as well! Winding roads and rolling terrain, seeing wind farms and glimpses of Lake Erie were a nice change from high speed highways.

Great tour. Never expected it to be such tight quarters. Working amateur radio room VE3ZFQ for licenced operators. Contact VE3TLT to book your on air session. While here ask about which Hollywood movie stars came here to learn what it would be like to be an officer on a "movie" submarine.

So impressive to see the inside of this submarine! One of three Canadian submarines from this era, the others being HMCS Onondaga now located in Rimouski, QC and HMCS Okanagan which was unfortunately scrapped in 2011. The tour lasted about an hour. I strongly recommend you reserve your place online ahead of time. Thank you to all those who keep this beautiful ship open to the public!

We absolutely loved this tour! Such a cool story and a piece of history. Amanda is a great guide! The old lady giving the tour behind us was very rude and was trying to rush Amanda out of the area so she could start her tour them and she closed the hatch behind us. It was very educational and our tour guide was very informative had a good sense of humor and manage to get everyone participating in different activities inside the submarine. You could actually imagine yourself being there with all the soldiers. There was enough time to take pictures and be able to touch and feel things there.(Our tour guide was an older gentleman that had tremendous knowledge.) Thank you!!! Highly recommend this trip!!!

It is an interesting place to visit for people who love history. We came late and it was closed, but still it was worth walking around and seeing this amazing submarine.
Kids loved it.
Lots of free parking.
Coastal destination with campgrounds, a sandy beach with dog-friendly area & kids' playground.
Very clean, well maintained and well supervised park. Our campsite was clean, with a beautiful view of the ravine. Comfort stations are will maintained and the kids loved the playground. Its a short drive to the beach - but worth every second! The dog beach is gorgeous, too.

Beautiful Sandy, rockless beach. Many sand bars, warm water. We went on the Sunday before the start of school, Labour Day. Beautiful day, it was pretty busy, the waves were huge. The nude beach is the last section of the beach, which was a LONG 4km walk, since parking was full it was an even longer walk, my only complaint. Other then that was a good day. Next time I think we'll bring the dogs (and swimsuits lol) since there's a dog beach on the other side. Didn't get a chance to checkout the rest of the park but from what I can tell looked good and clean.

We camped here during last summer on a rainy day . It’s got everything that you would wish for in a good campground, private campsites, clean washrooms, sandy beaches for amazing sunsets. The only downside on a rainy day is that since it has marshes that are pretty close to certain campsites which resulted in lots of bugs, creepy crawlies and mosquitoes on a rainy day. Just be prepared to tackle this on a rainy day and you are all set. Also gypsy moth infestation was at peak even in this park during the first week of July resulting in lots of gypsy moth caterpillars on your campsite

Currently just under $17 for the day. Not over crowded. Love the leash and off leash area for dogs. Lots of waves. The water level is great, not deep so it's safe for puppies to learn to swim. Sandy with very few rocks which is great.

Awesome park if you have dogs, off leash dog beach was great with tons of furry friends, nice sand and water. Campsite itself was very private, clean and cozy. Neat little port Town close by. Worth the trek to Norfolk

Nice big campsites, one trail to hike, beach access is by car only or a long walk on the road, which is inconvenient for kids. Beach is long and wide, great for dogs with off leash area but there were tons of dogs, so lots of barking too.
I'm giving 4 stars due to the lack of beach access and lack of hiking trails.

Went back to this park for another camping weekend and it was great! Stayed at Iroquois campground and the site we had was huge. Bathrooms were always clean! The beach was a bit of a hike which is fine if you don't plan on bringing toys and stuffs. We hiked one evening and drove to it (less than 5 mins) the next day with all the gear. Beach is nice and sandy and it wasn't overly crowded!

Wonderful park. Well-maintained, with friendly staff. The beach--all 3k of it--is to die for. The dog beach (on-leash and off-leash) is the nicest we've found in the provincial parks we've visited. Our electric site (#10) is huge and well-separated from others. We'll be back!

We went there one hot afternoon, when we reached there Site 4, 5 were full, so we went to Site 3. The parking was sufficient. The distance from parking to beach is long to carry your stuff . The rest rooms are not flush toilet but vault toilets.
The picnic shelters are good, you can cook and BBQ there. The parking fee was $18/car.

Great spot for a day trip. we didn't look much past the beach since we drove 2.5 hours to get there ... was able to bring my own portable charcole bbq. However, the cooking spot was well far from the beach. If you plan on cooking on the beach, I would say don't they have wardens patrolling regularly. Beach was huge, and even tho it filled up during the afternoon, there was lots of room!! It is all sand and shallow, and it is perfect for the kids !! The beach is all day sun, so bring a shade tent. They do have a dog beach as well !!! Again, if you want to bbq in the day spot, get there early before all the picnic tables get used up. LOTS OF POISON IVY AROUND TIP IF YOU GOT YOUNG KIDS I ALWAYS REMIND THEM TO STAY ON THE MAIN PATH AND ASSUME EVERYTHING GREEN IS POISON IVY engrain that into them and you'll never have an issue or atleast I have not!!!

Port Burwell is a decent little park, walking distance from the beach and town, playground for kids and a decent walking trail that is very accessible from any campground in the park. Our first night there, we went for a walk down the trail in the park heading towards the top of the park then circle back to head to the beach, on this section we encounter 8 different deer. All of them were a stone throw away allowing us to get close enough for a good view. The very last deer we ran into was on the trail around a blind corner, not knowing it was their as we were being quiet on the walk. I came around the corner and it was in the middle of the trail 30 meters infront of me, giving me a rare up close stare down with a deer lol
All and all this park was decent to camp at and the up close experience with the wildlife gave the trail a really enjoyable feel. The beach is really nice too being one of the better ones on Lake Erie. If you want to go somewhere to relax this is a good place and if you want to swim this is a good place beside that, their isn't much to do here for long stays at the campground or in the town itself

Loved this place. The reason for 4 stars is because the signage for group camping is hidden and the map is not clear. The washrooms for the group camping smell like rotting bodies - the worst I've smelled. Why wouldn't there be flush toilets in the most densely populated area? Not sure.
Great space with room for lots of families.
AMAZING. The best family attraction we have taken our daughter to her whole life. This place has it all for family fun. Lots of games, attractions, a wagon ride, animals, and best of all a good dose of humour. The owner has incorporated so many good laughs throughout the park via signage, and attractions (the goat walk and food conveyor were hilarious), a pumpkin cannon, and more! I was totally shocked by how put together this whole business was. We will be regulars every year 💯. If you’re within a reasonable driving distance GO! We drove from Cambridge (1hr)- worth EVERY SECOND!

Clovermead is such a cute and fun place to visit for all ages. My friend and I went on a rainy day, and even then it was really nice. To begin, the store was much bigger then I thought and had some great gift ideas and great prices. The adventure farm in behind the store was much bigger then I anticipated and had so much to do. The animals on the farm looked well taken care of and were very friendly towards us when petting/feeding. This would be a great place to take the kids too. All the employees were really nice to us during our time there as well. I can’t wait to go back next year!

Lots of fun for all ages. My kids range from 3 months to 12 years old.
They have thought of the adults! There are so many places to sit down in the shade. Chairs, benches, swings and tables. They have the "honeysuckle house" to change diapers and nurse, there are also full big bathrooms near the gift shop with change tables.
Cards only, no cash at the food vendors.
If you bring your own picnic lunch, they have tables near the parking lot you can use.
Pack swim suits for the amazing splash pad!

You need to plan to spend a WHOLE day here. Got there at 9 15am and left at 4 30 pm. Cost $145 for 2 adults and 3 kids at the gate. Food is a bit pricey. You can bring your own food, but don't be rude about it bringing a whole BBQ spread. Simple finger foods. Staff are zuper friendly. Clean, surprisingly clean for it being run rapid with kids, haha. Bathrooms especially!!! Takes a whole day to get through the entire thing, especially with kids.
Will for sure be returning!
Thank you for the amazing memories with my family.

This place is amazing! Today was our first visit and we will most definitely be back. We came with 3 adults, an 8 year old, 3 year old, 18 mth old and 6 mth old and everyone of us had fun. There has been so much attention to detail put into this farm. We sadly only had about 4.5 hours at the farm so we didn’t even get to all the activities but highlights were the Jordan forts, slash pad, mining for gems, animals, and tractors/tricycles. We will be recommending your farm to everyone!! It’s so well done. We brought some honey home and can’t wait to try it ! Thanks for such a great day!

Oh, this is a fun, cute place. My 8 year old had a blast in the mazes, the splash pad, even at the bee demonstration, which is amazing because he is horrified of all flying bugs. They made it fun to be in a room full of them! So yay! Also, they have incredible silly signs absolutely everywhere, and this made my day. We also enjoyed the sluicing option here, something I hadn't done since I was a kid myself. Lots of splashy fun, for sure.
Of course, they sell honey here, I picked up some buckwheat honey that I'd been having trouble finding anywhere else. A very good price, compared to elsewhere that I'd been looking (oh, Amazon...)
Food options are a bit pricey, but that's to be expected I guess. If/when we go back, we'll just bring snacks and lunch along with.
I think this would be even more amazing to a smaller kiddo, but as far as new experiences go, not a bad one for a kid his age.

Was a really fun day. Spent the whole day and this farm needs a whole day. So much to do and see. Went in with no expectations and was blown away. Food was good and plentiful, portions just the right size except the funnel cake (I've never had one so small) but aside from that one very minor thing it was great! Will be back to see pumpkins flying in the fall!
Victoria Park, established in 1874 and spanning an area of 18 acres, boasts a replica of the Whitehall cenotaph as well as a stage among other attractions. It is a popular destination for lunches, family outings and dates due to its scenic beauty. The park offers ample opportunities for recreation such as walking or running alongside the well-maintained ice rink and picnicking on its lush grounds.
Always a beautiful walk! Perfect for lunches, families, and dates. With everything else being closed, getting hot chocolate from the Starbucks across the street and walking around, has become one of my favourite pastimes. The ice rink Is well maintained and there are enough benches, but it can get pretty crowded over the weekend. The lights at night are of course gorgeous.

Great park downtown. Grab a drink or food to go and eat in the park. Plenty of benches or trees to sit under. Great path for walking dogs too. Squirrel are friendly and will eat out of your hand. Best parking is behind St. Peter's church. Like any city homeless have taken up in the park like the Squrriels, they will ignore you if you avoid them.

Close to home for this senior. Lot's of places to sit and enjoy the Squirrels and Geese. I walk by on the way to Oxford Valumart.

The outdoor ice skating rink is small but well managed. There are plenty of sitting areas around the rink where you can place your bags and change the shoes. It would have been nicer if the tree lights were on at night. The washroom is open to public but you need to visit the security office in front of the rink to have it unlocked for you.

Downtown's London central Park. It's a medium size park but very beautiful, always clean and lively. It's also very vibrant. In summer is when I like it the most. Here, some festivals take place during the day being my favorite the sun fest. You can go running in here, have a picnic or just walk by.

Cycle tracks are available too .
Can find Canadian goose’s around the park .
Lot of people take this park as a picnic spot .
Well maintained.
In case you head out on the exit gate of the park , you can find lot of exciting night life restaurants, bars and pubs !!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Victoria Park during my first trip to London. Nestled in the heart of the city, this park is an absolute gem, boasting lush greenery and picturesque landscapes. Our visit coincided with the Hockey Fest event, which injected a lively and energetic atmosphere into the park.
Victoria Park is definitely worth a visit, whether you're just stopping by London or a local looking for a refreshing escape. The combination of natural beauty and engaging activities make it a delightful destination for all

Nice park in Downtown London. All festival is held in this park. Today is the Ribfest weekend. Good ribs. Food itself is getting ridiculously priced ice cream , drinks skewers etc. Line up for ribs is too long. Average wait time is 1/2 hr to get ribs. Cannot try other vendors because there is no sampler option size.

Victoria Park is a gem in the heart of London. We had a wonderful time celebrating the end of 2023 with live music and fireworks at the park and the city hall respectively. The park is always lively and festive, hosting various events throughout the year. The park also offers a tranquil and scenic space for relaxing, walking, and enjoying nature. I love the beautiful trees, flowers, and monuments that adorn the park. Victoria Park is a source of pride and joy for Londoners, and I think of it as our own Central Park. I highly recommend visiting this park if you are in London.

Good festivals in the summer and skating rink in the winter. Garbages and benches aren't maintained enough, though. Should add more tables for summer.
Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario is a versatile venue that hosts a variety of events including sports games, concerts, and family shows. It is home to the London Knights and the London Lightning. The arena provides comfortable seating with good sight lines and high-quality sound for concerts. While parking can be a bit challenging, the overall experience at Budweiser Gardens is enjoyable with easy entry points and wheelchair access. Arriving early allows visitors to explore nearby dining options before catching an event.
Budweiser Gardens was an excellent host for an excellent evening with James Taylor and Jackson Browne. Arena concerts have come a long way. The sound was of high quality. Our seats were comfortable and the leg room was ample. Sight lines were not an issue in the least. The concourse was pretty much jammed but "traffic" flow was steady. All this to say, I'll happily return to Budweiser Gardens for other events.

We went to AEW Collision at Budweiser Gardens. It was my first time at the arena. Very easy parking, as long as you're early. Great seats in Section 109 Row G Seats 12 & 13. Nice and elevated to be able to see the whole show. Easy entrance. It's a plus that this arena still accepts cash. Moderate prices for food and drink, very affordable. We will be back. Looking for other shows and attractions coming to London

Budweiser Gardens is a great place to watch an OHL Game. The Knights are usually pretty good team to you'll be in for an entertaining game. The team also has a large following so the place is filled and has a good atmosphere. Going in is pretty easy.. the staff is efficient with covid protocols so the line moves quickly. inside the staff is also fantastic and helpful. Food and beverage is pretty pricey as you would expect in a busy place, other OHL team arenas don't have the same following so they can't overcharge on food but this place can .. they have a neat Jack Daniels bar that is unique and has some cool offerings. The game experience is good with fun entertainment between periods. My biggest complaint with watching the game is that the PA system is terrible and you cannot hear the announcer most of the time as its muffled. But the biggest issue I had is that the popcorn is completely inedible, so if you are reading this... don't but the large popcorn as you will throw your money away. it is so salty that you cannot enjoy it. i'm sure they have received complaints about it but chose to serve it still. Other than that.. its a good experience watching the game. Beyond that.. the streets near the arena are totally sketchy, so don't plan on walking alone.

Amazing venue for a concert! Easy parking and we used HonkMobile app to pay for parking with coupon code “core” to get $5.00 off!
Plenty of restaurants nearby to grab dinner and drinks before the concert.
Super clean facilities, friendly staff and no lineups when we went.

Excellent venue!! Had a great family time here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The ticket 🎟️ prices were slightly high but we had a great time and it was definitely 💯 worthy it!
We sat in the 🔝 of the seats and still felt like we had a great view!
We had popcorn 🍿 and drinks 🥤 that were reasonably priced for a concert venue!
Exiting was seamless we just joined the crowd and it moved efficiently.
Everyone in the crowd was in a great mood and people were being extremely kind to each other 😊
The reason for the 4 stars is Parking!! 🅿️
Parking can be an issue. We are not local so it was sort of confusing but we ended up parking on the street because it was after 6 pm when we got there… so i believe it was free 😳. But I could be wrong just check the signs!
*** No re-entry aloud so make sure you have everything you need when you head in!!

Clean facility, great view from any seat. Electric atmosphere for the team. So many food choices for events. Seats are also comfortable. Excellent leg room. Sitting at the very top and was very comfy. Easy to exit. However, if you park across the road and pay for all day parking ($22.50 for game days) still received a $100 ticket that was confusing.

Great venue for a rock show! I went and caught the Glorious Sons here recently and had an excellent time. The sound was great, staff was very friendly, and security wasn’t too overboard. I’d very much recommend catching a concert here when your favourite band comes to town!

Nice venue, fairly updated. Drove from NB for the concert, wasn’t disappointed. Pretty well organized and the staff outside were helpful with any questions. Only thing is that the screen was blocked from our section so it was hard to see at some points.

Although it was nicely managed, the area's lack of space gave the impression that it was overcrowded. Parking the vehicles became very challenging due to the fact that half of the outgoing roadways were under construction. When everyone emerged simultaneously from the graduation ceremony, they were jammed like hell. With this kind of set up, I wonder how they plan to host indoor matches

Love coming to concerts here (live out of town). Far easier to access than Toronto. And there are so many great places to eat in downtown London. BUT the cost to park in downtown London has become worse than Toronto ($29!!!)! Just absurd With as much clout as Budweiser Gardens enjoys, they need to address this! Because now it makes this a less desirable venue. First Ontario in Hamilton has plenty of much more reasonable parking spots nearby.

Nice arena in many ways. Location is excellent; ushers were friendly. Feels small and easily navigable. I was last here in 2019 for the Junos telecast and have very happy memories of that event. However, security was way out of line at this 2023 event. About 2/3 of the way through the show, the band told the audience that we could stand. I don't know if the guard in question didn't hear that or thought it meant we could stand at our seats only and not approach the stage (I was in front row) but he was angry and inappropriate with several fans, yelling and putting his hands on people to try to get them to sit. Eventually another guard came running at him and pushed him the length of the stage, to get him away from the fans. It was uncomfortable and disruptive and I hope this guard was disciplined and all security personnel updated on appropriate actions, so that there is consistency in enforcing rules. I do not live in London but travel around Canada for various events. I would honestly hesitate before returning to Budweiser Gardens.

A smaller Air Canada center, boss has season Knights tickets so I should be there quite a bit. Used to always go to knights games growing up.. so I get flooded with nostalgia going again. They did a good job with this building, I love how they left the old buildings facade, def has a good vibe. Busy during games or concerts but lines move fairly fast

Saw Godsmack sat few rows back from the pit and the soundsystem from the overhead scoreboard was down and blasted us out of the arena. Staff were amazing and walked us right to our seats.
Amazing beach love it here the sand is clean water is clean for the most part but you have to be careful when going in deeper the life guards are very good and pay attention. 2 small children were swept under the water and they where saved with in seconds. Lake Erie beach perfection at its finest - beautiful deep sandy beach, shallow waters, posted lifeguards (in-season) and steps always from any amenity you might need - restaurants, ice-cream shops, convenience stores, shopping, a quaint small-town downtown chock full of hidden surprises and delights. And for those so inclined, an almost-adjacent LCBO for some cold, frosty refreshments. Plenty of great fishing spots as well for the anglers. All-in-all, a great little town, a scenic beach, and all the fixin’s for a memorable fun time. Highly recommended.

That said, I don't remember much from childhood.

One of the nicest beaches I've visited in Ontario on Lake Erie and I've been to alot of them. Very clean, massive sand and beach (Main Beach). They have every thing you could possibly need there to foot washes, showers, restaurants right in the beach and parking everything. Water is clean and the sandbar is long and shallow. A beautiful walk way out the lighthouse and a very nice town with many options. There is also another beach called Little Beach right around the corner that was very nice as well but like it says little. I highly recommend Main Beach ⛱️ it's a gem 💎.

Very accessible and close to parking. Washrooms are mostly the porta potty stalls so bring your own sanitizer or washer sometimes they're out.
Water has a layer or gravel around 3-4 feet in but clears up real fast and it's all smooth sand after. Lifeguards sit from morning around 10-11 till 5pm. Otherwise no supervision. There is a foot shower yoi can go to afterwards. Beach is mostly clean.
Parking close costs around $4/hour but it's free before 8am and after 5pm.
Sun set looked pretty beauitful as well.
No you can't really see much of the United States lol. At least I couldn't cath a glimpse of land or skyscrapers.

I visited Port Stanley Beach in summer and I have to say it exceeded my expectations! The beach is absolutely gorgeous with soft sand and crystal clear water. The view of Lake Erie is breathtaking and there's plenty of space to relax and enjoy the scenery.
What impressed me the most was the cleanliness and organization of the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they kept the beach spotless. There were plenty of clean washrooms, showers, and changing rooms available which made our visit even more comfortable.
The beach also has a wide range of amenities including volleyball courts, playgrounds, and plenty of food options. It's perfect for a day out with family and friends. The parking is also convenient and there are plenty of spaces available.

The Beach: 2 beaches, 1 wide and 1 small, both clean. The wide has clear water, a bit cold but the body adapts, friendly and family environment, great for a day use. For sure you need to bring an umbrella or a beach tent, chairs, apply sun protection cream as the sun gets intense starting 1~2 pm.
Car Parking: if you arrive early there, then you have better chance to fond a spot in the pain parking. Arriving at noon time or later, it will take couple of laps to find a place. Parking in streets is free and limited to 2 hours from 10 to 5, after that no limits, again it requires couple of laps to find a spot.
Washrooms: There are public washrooms
Restaurants: there are few near the beach. Tried one "The Buccaneer". It is very nice, great food varieties and big portions.
City: very nice and cozy for a nice afternoon/evening walk by pier, many restaurants and ice cream shops, friendly and clean, many areas for sitting around the pier.

Storybook Gardens, a park created in 1958 with rides and attractions inspired by nursery rhymes, is a family-friendly destination. However, only the splashpad and discovery areas are accessible to visitors due to restrictions. It is recommended that you make reservations beforehand as slots for each visit last only 1.5 hours. While masks are mandatory throughout the premises, they do not need to be worn while using the splashpad.
Always a great time and never disappointed. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Very affordable and fun family outdoor activity.

This is a fun place to take the family for the day. It is geared more towards younger children and has a couple of small rides on site including a train in the park out front. Big draw is the splash pad, it is large and seems well maintained. The changing booths were a bit dirty but likely to be expected with the amount of people using them. Food was good, standard amusement park offerings. Large pirate theme play structure and some climbing walls are good for kids too. There is also a small play village for kids as well. We have been several times and always had fun.

I used to visit as a kid coming from Alberta with my cousins who lived in the area. Returned after 25ish years with my own children and uncle, this past summer. It was a wonderfully nostalgic experience for me and my children had a wonderful time. I was sad to see many things I remember have since been closed down or replaced but we still had a wonderful time. We were on a tight visiting schedule and only managed to get an hour in but I’m so happy we came.

The whole garden isn't open to the public- only the splashpad and discovery areas. Strongly recommend making reservations in advance to guarantee a spot. Slots are for 1.5 hours. Masks are required on the grounds, just not on the splashpad. Washrooms are open, but changerooms are not.

This place is beautiful! I've been walking on springbank park for years and never noticed there was a secret castle hidden behind the trees with so many fun rides and amazing natural views. It is like a smaller version of centre island in Toronto, and offers many fun things you can do. I personally enjoyed the swing chairs and the carousel, even though they are designed for smaller children adults can still safely and enjoyable ride. They also have tower slides and you can climb ropes at their park. Lastly, stop by the beaver tails conveniently located there, or grab some ice cream or other snacks and gifts from the in-house gift shop or restaurants.

It's such a fun place to bring the kiddies to but somewhat disappointing as the only rides that were available were the merry-go-round and the train (tickets are needed to be purchased for use). They did have the archery that was free and available inside as well they have multiple parks. All the other rides inside. Unsure if tickets are needed to use the other rides. They have a booth for food which serves hamburgers, fries, chicken strips, hot dogs, something with pickles (deep fried possibly), drinks, slushies, ice cream and freezies plus more I think (sorry I don't recall all). There is a jumpy thing (no shoes) and peddle go carts you with different sizes to where even adults had rode them and one where (only one) where an adult can go with a child. Fees at the time were $9/person and I believe 24mts and younger are free, for the time that I've gone. Free parking.

Storybook Gardens offers a delightful experience reminiscent of a children's storybook come to life. This family-oriented destination is brimming with an array of exciting activities for kids and their families. With a primary focus on children, it features themed parks and a variety of rides that fulfill every child's wishes.
The park boasts charming miniature replicas of well-known establishments like Tim Hortons, Pizza Hut, banks, and more. Youngsters can immerse themselves in the roles of cashiers, bankers, or whatever their hearts desire within these dedicated buildings.
Among the attractions, you'll find a spacious pool area for kids, a towering Ferris wheel, and an assortment of other rides that both children and families can enjoy. While there is a $25 entry fee to the park and separate tickets are required for each ride, the experience is undeniably worth the investment. Even if you're not a child, Storybook Gardens provides a vibrant atmosphere where you can relish youthful moments.

Affordable, family friendly experience. Definitely geared toward younger kids. Lots of interactive play and plenty of shade to stay cool. We showed up around 1130 AM and there was no line. Food service was a little slow but that's because they only had one open and it was lunch time. Relatively good food prices. They have taps at the water fountains to refill waterbottles. The sheer number of Canada Geese roaming around is unreal. The kids had a blast!

Amazing children’s amusement park. Travelled all the way from Barrie and can say it was worth the trip. So much to do and i love that the park has beautiful spaces to sit and relax as there is so much trees. Not very expensive to go. Bought a 20 ticket pack but did not use it as much as there is only 3 rides requiring tickets. I would say just buy a few if your kid wants to try 1 or 2. My 3 year old was only interested in the elephant ride.

Visiting Storybook gardens was an enjoyable experience overall, particularly for families with toddlers. Great Zoo, nice experience especially for kids as their were lots of fun, interactive farm animals.
The small area with games kids enjoyed a lot.
Well maintained water splashes, it’s always over crowded by the kids they are really enjoying this place. Long weekends are really busy and weekends are not bad too, especially in the summer. Best time to visit is weekdays mornings. Parking lots are little bit tight here.
They have good collection of animals, the reptiles area is not clean and smells bad. The food shops here is bit expensive and quantity was also less.
Overall a nice place to visit with kids.

I went here with my family and we had a great time. You can purchase buckets of feed for the animals, play in the assortment of playground equipment together, there is a mini village( it needs a bit of work it seems to be falling apart), splash around in a splash pad, and enjoy a picnic lunch or purchase a meal at the restaurant. Fun for all ages. I do however wish there was some type of fresh water source for the animals, many had disgusting looking water. The big cats could also do with a small pool to cool off in and play in. Its an inexpensive fun day for families all ages.

Absolutely loved the place! The animals seemed so happy, the chimps and monkeys were all playing with their toys they had. It was a very amazing experience. Was so nice to be able to hand feed some of the animals, you can buy a bucket of food to hand feed the animals that are able to be hand fed! They have an amazing water park and huge park for the kids to play at, there was 2 full playgrounds, zip lines for the kids, and a huge air trampoline I'm not sure what it's called but everyone loved it! The restaurant food is very delicious and cheap! Definitely will be going back again!

We took our grandchildren here today. The price at the gate includes the zoo and adventure park. The pens were clean and the animals seemed healthy and well cared for. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, plus extras for the carnivores. I saw a few bad reviews before leaving, but the park was clean and well kept to us.

My family has been coming here since I was a young child. I loved coming to see the animals - feeding them and petting them was always an extra treat!
We recently took our one year old and we had such a fabulous day. It wasn't packed, the right amount of sun and shade and it was clean.
The animals were all visible - would agree that some of the exhibits are a little small - but that is something that could always be improved with future development. There is a great variety of animals.
There is a large playground, a splash pad and lawn space for picnics or a spot to dry off in the sun. Our daughter loved the ball pit.

Beautiful animals, we had a great time here! The reason I give 4 stars is because it looked like the bear was not happy; pacing back and forth along the fence line. Made me sad 😕 as well as there appeared to be no park rangers (or whatever they're called) to enforce no smoking in the park or control children when they decide to throw things at the animals.

Great place for families. We spent the whole afternoon there today sept 17/23.big variety of play equipment for the kids , a zip line and a splash pad . The play equipment is all maintained in excellent working order . Picnic tables spread all over in areas under shaded trees.
Very courteous staff running the restaurant and the ice cream counter .
Clean washrooms .
Animals looked healthy and well nourished .. The lions were sleeping under the afternoon sun seemingly quite content . This is my second time there with my 7 year old grandson . We will be returning !😁

Love everything about this place. I always bring with me veggies and fresh bananas. I also buy many bags of feed from the park to support. Animals are healthy and vibrant and lucky they have a caring family to look after them. Animals in the wild are being poached to extinction and their natural habitat is being ravaged to supply human demands. Places like these give people the opportunity to see these beautiful animals. The wolf enclosure is absolutely amazing. The lions can be lazy but they have plenty of room. Tigers are fantastic and also have plenty of room to stretch and play. I always bring different friends and family and visit multiple times a year. I just love being out there and the family the runs the place is great. After 8 pm they never kick me out and give me time to finish feeding all the begs I bought. Canteen has decent food too. Sometimes I read people reviews complaining about smells and what not. They are animals that use the restroom out in nature and the workers and family regularly clean and as often as they can. May God be my witness I’m not a personal friend or even know the family who owns this place that well. I’m just returning patron who loves the place. People who complain about space must have the wrong place reviewed. Did they visit a human prison? because that’s what they are describing the cages people sit in that other people put them in. These animals have plenty plenty of space. The wolf enclosure is massive with a major water whole at the centre absolutely beautiful. Lions naturally like to do very little if they don’t need to hunt and they have plenty of room. Gators grow in size according to their environment and are almost always comfortable doing nothing. It’s an amazing place.

Great zoo and park for the family and kids. Love that they serve food and treats here. I would recommend the chicken fingers! They are always a family favourite.
Ample parking, reasonable prices and lots of shade for hot days.
Lots of animals for the kids to see and a great playground and splash pad! The only annoying thing is that there are a lot of flies in the summer. Would highly recommend for a family outing especially for little kids.

We enjoyed the zoo. It’s nice to see that the new owners are improving the enclosures. My LO loved feeding the animals. I just wish they had more hand sanitizer or hand washing stations for using after you feed the animals, it was difficult lugging my toddler and all our gear to the bathroom every time we fed animals. The food in the restaurant was good, and well priced. The playground has lots to do. It was a fun day!

Spent the day at Greenview. Had so much fun. They have a restaurant and a snack bar. Bathrooms with lots of stalls, gift shop, trampoline "pillow" lots of play equipment, a splash pad, a zip line and of course lots of animals. You can rent a wagon and buy a brown bag of animal feed for some of the animals. There's lots to see and do at Greenview. Best place ever!

This is a great little gem tucked away in the middle of no where. I really do love this zoo. 50 acres is not a bad size. And it's established. Been around forever. Lions, tigers, bears, wolves, monkeys, baboons, lemurs, pastor parrots and so much more ❤️

This place has come a long way since I was a kid! Not perfect but they have a good array of different animals. We can loaded with fruits and veggies to hand to the animals and while some were not accessible, we took particular enjoyment from feeding the ring-tailed lemurs (Zaboomafoo!). We had a splendid day and honestly this place can only improve from here. Keep up the good work!

Small local zoo, great for half a day trip, animals look well taken care of, amazing park , splash pad is small, they have a restaurant and food prices are abit steep.
Some animals need better enclosures and more space but not worth a whole day.
Got through the animals in 2 to 3 hours then did lunch and park, was there for half a day.
Animals are close though , you'll always see them and can feed them
Brianna Bos — Google review
Came to the little zoo to take pics of the animals. Got some great ones too.
The animals are well cared for.
A couple of gals went pen to pen feeding all of them.
They sure knew that lunch was nearby.
It was a beautiful day.
Not too busy.
Didn't get over to the play area but lots of kids having fun there too.
Parks Blueberries is a charming country store offering a wide array of blueberry products, from jams to pies, and the opportunity to pick your own berries. The store also features an assortment of home decor, fashion items, and novelty products. Visitors can enjoy a cafeteria-style lunch with options like sandwiches, soups, and pizza, as well as delectable desserts and pastries. The on-site bakery is particularly renowned for its scrumptious scones.
The best selection of treats, the absolute best scones around, and love their beef pot pies, apple pies. The staff is friendly and very helpful

It's always a treat to visit PARKS BLUEBERRIES & COUNTRY STORE!
I haven't visited since October 2022, and the following noticeable changes have occurred:
1. Servings of lunch items are significantly smaller and more expensive.
2. No more added fresh blueberries on the plate or salad when ordering a meal.
3. No more asking if we wanted our pieces of pie heated or if we wanted whipped cream with the pie.
4. No more counter with utensils, cream/milk, or sugar for your coffee/tea. It makes ordering a hot drink awkward because I have my way of fixing up my tea or coffee. Now, I had to tell the server how much cream to put in my coffee until it had the right colour.
PARKS, please bring back the coffee counter and at least 1 free refill of coffee with the purchase of a meal.
5. By 5 p.m. there was only one salesperson left at the cash. She had to handle ringing through customers, go down isles to help customers, and handle a few price checks because items had no price tag on them.
PARKS, please bring back a couple of additional of your amazing salespeople! Have one on the sales floor to assist customers and answer questions and another at the till until closing time, especially on a holiday weekend.
6. I may be wrong here, but I was sure that Pumpkin Spice Muffins with Cream Cheese Filling were available in September 2022. I couldn't find any at this visit which was too bad. I hope they will be available soon!
7. On a positive note, we found a few unique and great items in the country store that we purchased.

Stopped by Parks Blueberries on our way home from camping. What a great little spot. There were a lot of nice home decor options and their desserts were spot on. The blueberry turnovers were my favorite. The sandwich counter at the back of the shop was a nice surprise if you're in need of a fresh sandwich or slice of warm pie. Prices were on the higher side of things but you can't beat a perfect blueberry and white chocolate scone!

Always a pleasure to visit! Lovely day trip, driving backroads countryside and picking out the quilt blocks on the barns. Gift shop is so unique. The bake shop is a must to bring home yummy treats. The restaurant offers homemade lunch and dessert offerings! Blueberries fresh or frozen are the best!!

The roast beef sandwich was excellent and enough for two meals. The egg salad sandwich was one of the best. Of course, had to follow with a dark chocolate raspberry scone and my partner had the mint Naniamo bar. Always a great spot to stop and pick up lunch for our travels in the area.

Cute and well stocked little country store! Lots of unique kitchen items, as well as fresh baked goods. Frozen meat pies are excellent as well! The lunch counter is a nice addition, though the prices are high for the offerings. My $10 egg salad sandwich was bare bones (not even lettuce or a tomato slice). Definitely miss the blueberry tarts they used to have!

My family and I have been going here for several years. We enjoy having lunch and then picking blueberries. Unfortunately, Parks has priced themselves right out of our price range for blueberry picking. You have to pick at least 2 pounds per person and they're $3.75 (I'm pretty sure) per pound. With my husband and I, that's 4 pounds that we will never be able to use. Freeze them? We've done that. I just used up my last bag a week ago and they weren't that tasty. Lunch prices have gone up; as they have everywhere and the lunch staff were very curt today. The service at the lunch counter was far from friendly. So, with the higher prices, mandatory 2 lbs picking, I think we won't be back to Parks.

Lovely place in the country full of gifts and food. The blueberries are ready to be picked you can pick or buy already picked. We went for lunch which is a cafeteria style where you grab a tray and order as you walk by. They have a good size menu of sandwich’s soups and even pizza. There are also desserts pie and other goodies. The best thing and the reason we go there is the scones. They are expensive but are the best 6 for 15.00. The scones are big, I usually cut them in half and freeze them. Thawing is quick or 30 sec in the microwave and they are good to go. If you need to get away for a little while try them out for lunch and a stroll through the gift shop and bakery. The scones are so good I’m glad I don’t live too close.

Always an amazing place to stop when you’re on the road any time of year. But it’s always extra special during Christmas season when you cut down your tree from Sloan’s right down the road & stop here for lunch right after. Their turkey dinner is absolutely outstanding. Rondeau Provincial Park, an historic park featuring a visitor center, boat launch, and a dog beach alongside picnic areas, campsites and trails. The park boasts of a barrier-free trail that offers hikers an up-close look at the beautiful old-growth Carolinian forest with towering tulip trees and various rare southern species such as Sassafras and Shagbark Hickory trees.
Spent 5 days here in July. We loved that you can walk to beach from campsites or you can drive and park at entrances along the beach. Beach was very clean and has a long shoreline so you can easily find a spot away from people. We drove to the dog beach it is a little bit of a drive but we stopped at visitor Center along the way. Lots of rocks but it was empty and water was clean.
Visitor Center was a Great spot to take the kids to see a few turtles and learn about native wildlife.
Park store sells ice cream which is also walking distance from some sites. Kids loved walking to get ice cream as a treat.
Definitely recommend this park for camping with young children. Only downfall is that the playground was far from campsites and needs to be updated

Long beach with clean water and fine sands; camping facilities are clean and good maintained; even though the privacy of camp site not that good, I still like this park. Especially the long trail from camp area to Tulip Tree Trail, you can enjoy a such peaceful scenic route whatever you are biking, hiking or rollerblading. If you like more, you can keep going from Tulip Tree to South Point Trail(Friendly reminder, lots of hungry mosquitoes are waiting for you in this trail, make sure you are ready for yourself and family members (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و).

Peaceful and lovely park to camp on Lake Erie. Only a short walk to a long and beautiful sandy beach that has a large shallow area so suitable for young children, I like they have specify beach access for campers so is easier to avoid a big crowd. The comfort station and showers are very clean and well maintained. The only downside is we went there during rainy days . So the number of bugs and mosquitos were a little too much to handle compared the campgrounds we'd been to.

Our favourite Provincial Park, we were there today so we could watch the eclipse from the beach. We pre-booked a day pass slot, thinking it might be busy, and we were glad we did. The park was full and those without booked slots were being turned away. The line up to get in wasn't too bad, and the people on the gate were super friendly. Once in the park, I was surprised to find plenty of parking available, and although the beach was busier than I've ever seen, it takes a lot of people to make 12Kms of sand look full up so it was quite comfortable. There was a cold north easterly wind blowing which made it quite cold on the beach, but I guess I can't fault the park for that. A great day out, and I'm glad we went. The photo was taken during totality.

Really enjoyed this past weekend adventures at Rondeau Provincial Park. Our dog enjoyed swimming and playing with other dogs at the dog beach. The hikes were short and nicely groomed for a leisure stroll through the forest. 1st night the stars were absolutely stunning at the campgrounds. We were a bit early for the bird 🐦 migrations but did see a fair number of smaller birds. Well kept and everyone wore a mask before entering the washroom facilities. We will visit again next year.

Fantastic Park
We have visited this park a few times.
Many nice flat trails nothing strenuous.
Nice beaches! Dog beach is rough though very rocky and water is rough the day we went.
Other beach points are beautiful.
Beaches are quite always from campsites. Prepare for a long walk or must drive or bike.
My grand kids love this park. As it has beach on one side and Rondeau Bay on the other side. They like exploring close to shore looking for critters.
Most Campsites not very private, any of them.
Some in fact have absolutely no privacy, to say poor is an understatement, should say none.
But still they are nice and clean.
The birding migration in the spring was worth the trip. We didn’t go on the weekends so we missed some specific tours but we did follow a guide out one of first days which was very helpful. Next time I think another day would be good as we are newbies. He was very very informative. I had 10x50 binoculars to difficult to spot any birds. I have since purchased 8x42 ( on the recommendation of our guide ) and oh what a difference. Wish I had them for our trip.
You can rent canoes in the area which is a nice little excursions along the shore of Rondeau Bay especially since Marsh Trail is closed. We saw Green Heron, water snakes and many other birds. So peaceful.
The small Visitors center is fun. They have a few turtles and a wall of the different kids of trees the have in the park and a nice indigenous section. Informative.
The have programs too. Check website for updates on those.
A nice well kept clean park.
And a friendly and helpful staff!

Well maintained park with camping and cottages. Lots of trails, great for biking, and many beach access points. The wildlife museum is a must see, and there are shops (inside and just outside park) for items you forgot to pack, ice, household items and hand scooped ice cream. There's a fee for entrance into the park. Our family has owned at cottage here since the 1940s, when Rondeau offered horse stables, a dance hall, mini golfing as well as other activities (there is still a sailing club). But now it's more of a nature park that really doesn't change much from year to year. Always do a tick check when coming back from outdoor activities!

A beautiful park with well-maintained facilities and very friendly staff and campers. The area's hospitality is fantastic, and make sure to stop by the park store for some ice cream as they have a great selection. The restaurant is also excellent, with delicious strips, fries, and more. Don't forget to visit the Bayview Market outside the park, where you can find a small LCBO, lots of baked goodies, and a shop that sells last-minute forgotten supplies. Parking is conveniently located near the beach area and is easily accessible with plenty of space for your gear. However, it is advisable to bring lots of bug spray as the black flies and mosquitoes can be vicious. This is not the park's fault, though. The campsites are spacious but lack shade, so plan for a tent for shade. Overall, it's a fantastic park to camp with your family.

Rondeau Provincial Park is a hidden gem in Southwestern Ontario. The Lake Erie portion of the park offers beautiful beaches and sweeping horizon. The Rondeau Bay side of the park has sheltered water for water sports and fishing. In between is a wonderful stretch of unique land to discover native plants and animals, go birding, hiking, and camping.
The campgrounds are well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and excellent shower facilities. Walking/Biking paths connect camping to both bodies of water, the playground, and the camp store. In the center of the park, the Visitor's Center offers a wealth of information, as well as the chance to interact with local animals and fish.

If you are looking for beach glass you won't find much here, but the walk along the water is very calming. The water is clear on most days. Being able to experience a storm front on the lake is worth the price of admission! Lots of bike/walk trails throughout. Facilities are always clean and well stocked. There are family friendly pavilions to enjoy a meal together, boat launches, a well stocked retail space and friendly staff members everywhere! We had a descent spot for our 44ft 5th wheel. Little gravel & grassy, pretty level. Only 30amp h/u, no water or sewer. Has dump & water fill station. When it rains the sites get pretty flooded & muddy. The mosquitoes are brutal. Dog walking & poop stations are good. Great biking trail. Views of river are great. There’s a shooting range there so you hear gunfire a lot. Very close to town for essentials. Had to pay $40 each for vehicle AND motorcycle for park passport, ridiculous! Oh and the roads & potholes are horrible! We would probably stay here again.

Nice park and friendly staff! This is a nice quiet campground and if you’re able to get a site on the river, you’re going to get a great view. If you are a boat nerd, this is definitely the place to be. Right now sites are just electricity, but I hear water and sewer are coming soon. The mosquitoes get bad at night, but that’s no fault of the park. My only complaint would be that the sewer area could be cleaned up and repaired a bit.

Every time I’m here I always try to snap a pic of some thing. If it’s a turtle or a bird or the water or the sunset or the sunrise or the deer or a groundhog, there’s many things. This is by far one of the best metro parks available in Michigan. I found it by accident- a pool near me charged 36 dollars for my toddler son and I, so we went looking elsewhere. $10 to enter the park on a daily pass- $40 for an annual pass. We have gone so often that the employee in the ticket booth noticed I had a ton of daily passes on my windshield- which equaled $40 so they said I can now get the annual pass when I turn in all of my daily passes, without having to pay another fee. Pool is $5 to get in and free for kids under 30 inches of height. The beach is no extra cost after you pay a daily or annual fee. The beach is beautiful, the water has been warm too. There are concessions available as well. We go at least twice a week now. The splash pad is no extra cost either.

Had my son's 2nd birthday at shelter J. I visited in June and worried about the taller grass around which had not been pictured when I booked the sheltered. There were bugs everywhere, because, you know, June. We had the party at the end of July. It was perfect. There were still bugs but not nearly as many, we didn't have a problem with gnats. The shelter was easily accessible via shuttle and was removed from all the beach activity which could still be enjoyed if you simply took a shuttle back. Our guests loved it too. There was a clean restroom nearby, a slide with a couple of swings, plenty of space to run around for all the kids. I'm thankful we hosted his birthday there.

A sunlit haven for photographers and families alike!
I recently had the chance to visit Lake St. Clair Metro Park at sunrise, and the experience was nothing short of magical. The way the early morning light touches the serene waters, creating an ever-changing canvas of hues, made for some truly breathtaking photographs. If you're an enthusiast of capturing nature's beauty, especially the calm elegance of dawn, this park is a must-visit.
But Lake St. Clair Metro Park isn't just for those with a camera in hand. It's evident that the park has been designed with everyone in mind. Families will find it particularly appealing. The waterpark, which caught my eye, seems like the perfect escape for the young ones to cool down and have a blast on a hot summer day. It's spacious, well-maintained, and filled with features sure to elicit joyful shrieks and laughter.
And then there's the expansive beach! Stretching out invitingly, the sandy shores offer ample space for picnics, sandcastle building, or simply lounging and taking in the tranquil surroundings.
All in all, Lake St. Clair Metro Park serves as a delightful blend of recreational activities and natural splendor. Whether you're an early bird photographer or a family in search of a wholesome outing, this park will exceed your expectations. Highly recommended!

A wonderfully paved 1 mile cement circle will take you on a tour of the park and the view onto lake st Clair is obviously outstanding. Always clean. Basketball courts, kids area, water slide into a pool, picnic tables and grills can all be found here too.

Beautiful area with lots of walking paths and nature. Trails for great outdoors exploring, beaches and lakes for swimming or water sports. There's a nature center that has fish, turtles, and a snake and great information in animals around the area. They also have stuffed birds, owls, and animals from the area. Side note they have nice bathrooms too.
Just know that if you don't have a Metropark pass, it's $10/ day. Pack some lunch and snacks there's plenty to explore. Enjoy!

This was our first time here. Totally worth the $10 parking. The water park is $5 extra per person.. hopefully we can do that next time. But this place is huge! Many things to do. Could enjoy the whole day here.

The kids playground is amazing! Very current and allows for plenty of climbing, sliding and swinging for all ages. The soft rubber ground ensures safe landings without the hassle of rocks or wood chips. The bathrooms are conveniently located near the playground. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous park! Peaceful and not at all crowded this time of year. Perfect place for a leisurely stroll along the waterfront or a longer hike through the marsh. Fall foliage is fantastic!

This is my favorite park in the metro Detroit area. The playgrounds are newer equipment that is well maintained, and clean. The bathrooms are the same. They're all heated and most are open year round. Great walking trails with the best views. Always full of smiling faces. A true gem of a place that's more than worth the price of admission!

They have done a fantastic job of renovating and improving the entire park!
The exercise equipment is great quality and all of the children’s play area is done with recycled tires! So they won’t get hurt whenever they fall!!
I’ve been coming here since I was a toddler.
They made the beach area much smaller and put in some wildlife areas! A great place to visit if you’re looking for safety and fun

The nature area though a little small is still a nice place for a walk and allows the opportunity to see deer, owls, nesting water birds, and the usual assortment of small woodland friends! The wetland boardwalk can at times be flooded after heavy rains so plan accordingly should you adventure with rain in the forcast.

I decided to take my baby to the beach. He absolutely enjoyed it. As you can see he jumped in the water for a quick swim. The water was too cold for him..LOL The park is beautiful, we walked along the boardwalk. We stopped at the playground where the kids were playing. In the playground they had a house with free books for the kids. I thought that was really nice, "take a book, give a book''. We walked around a bit people watching. Families riding bikes just enjoying themselves young and old.

Came for an ice fishing visit a couple weeks ago, it was beautiful. They also have the restrooms open and heated.

Nice park with walking trails, beach views, and many activities for every season.
Par 3 golf, mini golf, pool, splash park, beach, picnic areas, sledding hill, cross country ski route in the winter, natural ponds for ice skating, lots of good spots for fishing.
There is a nice playground, with sections for children of all ages and an exercise center just outside the fence.
Lots of space taken up with parking lots however, and it can get busy on the weekend - especially during summer.
On a weekday or during other seasons it can be quite empty, and It’s almost like having the park to yourself

Wow ! Such a nice lake with so many fun things to do. The beach was clean and was not crowded at all!! We didn’t expect a lot from this place but ended up spending almost 3-4 hours … the play area is great and there is ample parking space …

A nice drive into park. Lots of trails and paths. Busy with many walkers in area. Nice beach access on the n.e. side. Scenic views. Lots of wetland area too enjoy. So many Waterville. We saw the lotus seed pods in various stages of seed development.
