A pleasant trip to see sled dogs and take a dog sled ride . No snow though. Just ATV ride with dogs attached to give them exercise in the off season. Included lunch: BBQ chicken, Cole slaw, salad, lemonade. Donuts.

We stopped here on our Skagway Tours bus. Food was great. The museum was informative. Got to pet the Alaskan huskies. All the staff are really friendly.
Adam Wright — Google review
It's not a bad place but not great either. Too long of a drive, food is mediocre. They have petting zoo with like 10 animals. The taxidermy museum is good
but nothing that you have not seen if you have been in a Natural History Museum like the Smithsonian. The staff is helpful and nice. We didn't ride the sleds because what I saw was a extralong four wheeler pulled by the dogs. Not impressed at all. Just the scenery in the way there and back.

Typical tourist attraction. The lunch ( included in our tour) was average. Friendly staff. Sled dogs & puppies were great. Free museum & petting zoo

An excellent spot for a bus stop with a great lunch.
The BBQ chicken lunch was flavourful and filling, with unlimited coffee and cinnamon doughnuts. Who could ask for more!
The museums on site are full of curiosities and artifacts from local history.
Lots of t-shirts and miscellaneous tourist stuff. The friendly staff were helpful. The washrooms were clean and modern.

Came here during a bus tour and we loved everything it had to offer! They had a dog kennel with sled tours as well as a wildlife museum and spots for food & drink. Chicken lunch was quite good & they offered complimentary tea & coffee as well as donuts. Just wish we had more time here!
For the dog kennels:
Came here during the summer so it was definitely not in season but was offered a great experience regardless! Admission to the kennel itself a free but dog sled tours are $45 per person for a 15 minute tour. While pricy, you can definitely see why it’s well worth it. They take great care of their dogs & even foster puppies as a partnership with the local humane society. Definitely recommend this!

Open in the summer,Carbon Crossing attracts tourists and locals alike. Located 45 minutes from Whitehorse or about an hour and 30 minutes from Skyway Alaska you will see tourists from both sides of the border.
There is a gift shop with Yukon items including clothing and toys. A full restaurant which primarily services bus tours and a cafe which serves sandwiches or snacks like ice cream.
The real attraction though is the live animals. You can pet horses, llamas, goats, and cute husky puppies. If you're up for seeing how huskies love to run you can book a mini sled pull where they have a team pull a side by side converted for guests.
If you are looking to get close to larger and more dangerous animals you can do that too. There is an exhibit with bears and various wild cats that are showcased.
Finally if animals aren't your thing, try your hand ar gold panning where you could catch some real gold with a steady hand, a good eye, and some patience!
Dylan Soo — Google review
Interesting place to spend an hour or so. The husky ride is more of a ride on a powered golf cart while the huskies run in front. The BBQ chicken isn't the best but it's edible if you're hungry, otherwise full up on the bread.
Olly Keeling — Google review
You have to try the dog sledding. It is so much fun, and the dogs are so smart and amazing! But watch the bumps! :-)
Cynthia Okocha — Google review
So cute. The petting zoo was great. All the animals would pose with you for a pic. There were a bunch of husky puppies to play with. Inside was a large room full of stuffed animals from their taxidermist. The provided lunch was good. There was a vegetarian dish, not sure what that was. We had chicken, potatoes, bread, and coleslaw. The chicken was very tender and juicy. They have a little gift shop for souvenirs. Clean bathrooms.

What an amazing place! We rented a car and drove 2 hours from Skagway. We bought the package before we went, and it was worth every cent! We started with a summer dog sledding tour followed by a short talk about this amazing sport. We then had a great BBQ chicken lunch. Great gift shop and wildlife museum. The petting zoo was amazing as well. What an experience in Yukon, Canada! The drive to get there is also fantastic!

We were here 6 years ago with our teenage kids when we were in Skagway for a port day. Our kids had fond memories of the dog sled ride, petting farm with the huskies, and museum. We were in port again last month with our kids and teenage grandkids. We didn’t go with a tour company both times and beat the crowd by coming early. We rented a car in Skagway both times. The staff are very friendly. Our kids and grandkids tell us that it was one of the highlights and memorable experiences they had during our Alaskan cruise. This is a great place for the entire family.

Chicken dinner was great !! The shop was a little lackluster.. it didn’t offer much
The museum was great and I really enjoyed it !! The animals were also great and awesome
The service is also great !!
They do not accept American Express
Only visa and Mastercard
They do take cash
Bathrooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly !!
It was amazing to also see real sled dogs and puppies !!
Keep in mind the puppies are usually shelter dogs and not sled dogs. But they are available for adoption !!!

Went to Caribou Crossing on a tour of the Yukon. A really cool place like walking into the wild west. The food there was not bad, the chicken didn't have a lot of flavor and tasted old. But the rest of the food was not bad. The food was part of our tour through Viator. The people were friendly. They had sled dogs and various other animals like a petting zoo. Prices for souvenirs were a bit pricey but was expected.

We drove from Skagway to Carcross after coming into Skagway on a cruise ship. It was a beautiful and scenic drive even seeing a bear alongside the highway and visited Caribou Crossing Trading Post. The staff was amazing being both friendly and knowledgable and the dogsled experience was a once in a lifetime experience and well worth the trip. The lunch they served was great and nice to be able to have a cold beer in the restaurant as well. The kids loved the puppies, goats and walking through the museum. Definitely recommend!

We arrived here on a tour bus from a CRUISE SHIP. We had a nice meal of BBQ chicken, Cole slaw & roasted potato. There was self serve coffee & tea & some delicious donuts included. There was also soda & beer for sale. All of the meal staff were friendly & upbeat.
There was a nice gift shop that lead to a RCMP Mueseum & I think also a taxidermy Mueseum. Then there was a petting zoo area with goats, donkeys, a horse & pony, & PUPPIES 🐶! The puppies were being held for the humane society but there are also sled dogs.
Our family has 5 kids from 17 to 8. We all had fun. A bonus is we made it the Yukon. WOULD go again.
Mathew Goeldner — Google review
Chicken dinner supplied as part of our excursion was OK. I found it a little difficult to eat with the supplied wooden cutlery, but it's all in the name of reducing plastic use. The BBQ sauce was tasty. I found the coleslaw a little dry, I prefer a little more mayo on, but this is just me. The baked potato was a good size. Again, I would have preferred sour cream to go with it, but in the rustic flavor of the meal, it was OK.
The RCMP museum and animal taxidermy is a must see, along with petting the puppies. Let me know if the Daal sheep have moved.
Cool looking building but it's currently boarded up and closed. Still cool stuff in the area to take pictures of, including the railroad bridge right across the street

We stopped in Skagway on a cruise and my SIL had arranged for a rental car to drive into the Yukon Territory. After a scenic drive, we stopped in Carcross for a bite to eat and to do a little shopping. The General Store was a treat. A wide variety of items and our group enjoyed it.
Steven Niekamp — Google review
Great general store.
Been here since 1898.
Lots of old bottles and tins from 100 years ago.
If your looking for animal furs like red fox or others you will find them here.
A lot of items and not just a general store, you could say it’s a mini museum with all the old items inside.
Fitos Vritsios — Google review
Really fun store. Worth a look. Bought some real leather moccasins and a waffle cone. The black cherry ice cream is best ice cream I’ve ever had. Went back for more and it was sold out. I’ll be dreaming about that ice cream!!!
Phil Marsh — Google review
Not sure what’s more popular, their ice creams or their ice creams.
Got lots of souvenirs for treasure hunts.
HJ Marshall — Google review
This place has been here for nearly 50 years, and has changed hands a few times. However, although it is more of a souvenir shop than a general store it is still very much worth a visit. They have a great selection of tshirts, books, carvings, moccasins and more. Bonnie also serves up the best ice cream in the Yukon.
Adam Rogers — Google review
Nice gift shop, kids liked the ice cream but one of owners was not friendly at all and wouldn’t choose to spend money there again. We stopped while in town and after getting ice cream in a cone my son (12) wanted to put in bowl and eat with a spoon. I told him to go ask for a spoon as he got the bowl with the cone. He came back and said they wouldn’t give him a spoon. I was cashing out in their gift store so my wife went to ice cream side to figure it out and was told by one of owners they only give out spoons if you order in a cup. She said they count out the spoons and that she gave my son a “stick” which was a wood stir stick, seriously?? She did end up giving my wife a plastic spoon after she asked if she could buy one. This woman needs to retire or get out of customer service business. Had I known what was happening prior to purchasing some things in the gift shop side I wouldn’t have spent our money there.

This is possibly the oldest store in continuous operation in the Yukon. It has more historic value as a place for great snacks than for buying supplies. Interesting slice of history.

Took the train ride from Skagway to Carcross. Was excited to see the Yukon but hadn’t planned on doing any shopping until I popped into this wonderful store.
Ron Hebert — Google review
You must visit Watsons General Store..it is a great store to browse and shop..more things to look at..if you remember wooden whistles that sounded like a train whistle you can find them here! It has been a long time since I saw one..staff very friendly, obliging and helpful. This is a place to go! And don't forget to visit Carcross Desert.
Lorraine Holder — Google review
Unique old time shop with some cool trinkets.
Michael Gray — Google review
What a great store with lots of history. True it carries mostly items for tourists, it has so many things to see and purchase. Owners are really helpful (there's no ice cream...) There is also a Canadian passport stamp outside if you want to stamp yours.
Carcross Desert, located just under an hour from Whitehorse, is a unique natural attraction that offers various outdoor activities. Despite being called a desert, it's not technically one due to its humid conditions and some vegetation. The area features sand dunes popular for hiking and sandboarding, as well as winter sports like snowboarding and cross-country skiing.
Beautiful drive down the South Klondike hwy to Carcross desert. Amazing landscape, a desert in the snowy mountains!
Ellie Kate — Google review
We loved visiting The Carcross Desert on May 14, 2023. Both my kids had fun dipping their feet in the soft sand! We would give it a 5 star rating, but due to uncontrollable elements, such as the wind causing the sand blowing into our eyes, we are giving a rating of 4 stars 😀
Akvabela M — Google review
I would say it a must if you go to Yukon. Nothing really exceptional about the place but the landscape is just so different from everything else around. I would suggest to go and take a stroll in the sand and enjoy the solitude and the emptiness of the desert
Felix Girard — Google review
One of my favorite stops on the Klondike Highway. Please be respectful of the site. The sand is slowly disappearing over the years.
Michael Gray — Google review
Smallest desert in Canada. At the end of August we walked without shoes there and we enjoy the magnificent view as we also had a good weather. Try to go in summer without shoes. So much fun.
Mapolenka S — Google review
Sand dunes with a beautiful view (if you climb to the top) we'll marked, directly off the highway. Outhouses, small parking area.

Very interesting place to visit. Feels like a different world when you get there.

Nice desert!
Not too far from Whitehorse! Offer a nice view of lake, forest, sand and mountains at the same time! Wasn’t crowded and plenty space to explore!
Bring some sunglasses to protect you from the sand flying in your eyes when there is wind! It draws some nice pattern though!
Franck Boisseron — Google review
A place where you get to see the sand dunes and snow capped mountains at the same time. Beautiful place for off-roading and to walk dogs too.
Saw many dune buggies having a good time.
The dunes are pretty steep in some places.
Sweety Tripathy — Google review
It is amazing to see a desert in this area. The kids liked playing around in the sand dunes. The view of the mountains in the horizon was spectacular.
Catherine Hunt — Google review
Fun little stop on the side of the road. Lots of tour buses from Skagway were stopping here so was pretty busy. But lots of desert to walk across and tons of plants.
Amanda Hamell — Google review
it was a welcome change of scenery, although I think I would enjoy it even more if no ATVer with noises and dust
Cindy Butyn — Google review
A local Yukon favorite in the summer for walking, quading, or motor biking, this desert is actually a dune that wss part of Lake Bennett.
In the winter this is still a great spot for snow shoeing and tobogganing. It's close to Whitehorse so it's a great way to spend a weekend afternoon hanging out.

Great strange to have a dessert near a mountain full of snow.
Great views of you climb the dunes!!!! Amazing
The Sign Post Forest is a unique and offbeat attraction that houses a vast collection of signs from around the world. It originated in 1942, when a U.S. soldier added a signpost with the direction and distance to his hometown in Illinois while repairing signposts along the Alaska Highway. The number of signs grew gradually over time, reaching 10 by 1990 and now exceeding 77,000 spread over several acres.
Though this place hasn't anything apart from the licence plates.. It holds a historic significance and a good place for taking shots. I would recommend tourists to get something in remembrance of their trips and add that to this post.. Many have done and it's a good memory..
Devipriya Raju — Google review
I was last here in 1982, and there were maybe a thousand signs. Now, in 2022, there are more than 55,000! It was started in 1942 by an US Army engineer working on the Alaska Highway who was homesick. Bring a sign from you hometown if you are headed up the Alaska Highway. Truly an amazing and remarkable place.
Adam Rogers — Google review
The sign forest is a great way to spend time and relax from the drive north to Alaska. I spent over two hours walking around looking at different signs, stickers, license plates etc. Seeing people’s stuff left behind and brought from other states and countries is really cool. There’s probably thousands of different things to see and just when you think you’re done, something else catches your eye and leads you a different direction. The forest has grown quite a bit since my first time through in 2005.

I designed a sign to leave here weeks in advance. It had to incorporate our current places we live as well as our hometown in Germany (Maring-Noviand). It is mind-blowing how many signs are in this sign forest.
The ladies in the visitor center even provided us with a hammer and nails to secure our sign for future travelers to see. So cool. I wished I had time to read all the signs.
Christa Jones — Google review
Its one of the famous landmarks on the Alaskan highway. There are more than 70000 signs big small from people all around the world. Some of them are really funny. We really enjoyed reading though them.
The place has a few picnic tables where you can enjoy a coffee or have a snack.
Sweety Tripathy — Google review
Worth a short (and even long) stop along the way on Alaska Hwy. I know there are few Czech posts, but I had a hard time to read just a few of those thousands of signs. It is incredible place and definitely worth it to spend more time than just few minutes as I did last time.
Milan Prustoměrský — Google review
My favorite "tourist attraction" in Canada thus far. People custom-made some of the signs specifically to post here as they traveled through the Yukon! There were also license plates, street signs, hiking boots, etc. It felt almost "spiritual" to stand in the middle of where so many other travelers have stood. As someone who loves traveling as much as I do, this almost felt like a pilgrimage or a sanctuary of sorts 💕
hapakoleahapahaole — Google review
Definitely one of the coolest tourist attractions on the Alaska highway. Also one of only a few attractions that grows because of its visitors. The forest has grown considerably over the decades and you can easily spend an hour or more wandering in it. I'd consider this a mandatory stop on the highway if you have the time.
Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park is a beautiful natural attraction located just under the Yukon border in British Columbia. This pine-forest park boasts of year-round campgrounds, hiking trails and natural hot springs. Visitors can access the Alpha pool from the boardwalks which ranges between 42 to 52 degrees Celsius.
STOP HERE BY ALL MEANS. I only visited the hot springs for a few hours, so I don’t know what the camping experience is like. I visited in late March. There was a lot of snow, but trails were well maintained. We saw moose as we strolled back the boardwalk. There is beautiful clean stairs and and changing rooms alongside the springs. A wonderful relaxing spot and the highlight of my Alaska Highway trip.
Kim Yoder — Google review
It's a cozy place with a friendly atmosphere. One of the staff is super friendly and helpful. But hes gone now..The food was great..but that cook is also gone. And the Hotsprings are across the Hyway...I would barely recommend this for a stopover or holiday..also has RV sites in the summer..the lodge is a 12 room lodge with history. Cafe is the all year round and lodge is open all year round from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week...But there is a problem with mice and Shrews in the lodge..the kitchen was filthy and unwashed..but its a bit cleaner now..the rooms are not worth the 167$ a night..the place also has a water problem..its on its way from being a lodge to run down lodge..
Darren Carifelle — Google review
Such a nice place! Costs $5 to get in (only cash). There’s a 10 min boardwalk to get to the springs but it’s easy and straight. Loved the people I met and the springs were perfect. They have cooler areas and much hotter areas. I appreciated the changing rooms and bathrooms (very well kept.) Wish they had some showers to wash off the sulfur smell (especially us road trippers making it out to the next 8 hour stretch)
Michelle Rubio — Google review
Hot spring real deal! The sites are large, deep and surrounded by lot of trees. It took about 15 minutes from campsite to the pool. The boardwalk to the pool was mostly flat, dry and beautiful. The pool was large and the water was hot. There is no shower facilities, but the pool water was clean and refreshing. There is no light at the pool at night, it is a good spot for night sky.

A brisk walk (~10min) will take you to the hot spring. The trip has a beautiful scenery. The hot spring was clean and well maintained. Be advised there is some natural hot spring smell.

We stopped by on the way to Alaska. This park offers no amenity except toilet and running water. There is no dump station yet I give 5 stars because of the atmosphere and amazing hot spring water. It is located deep in the Canadian Rockies right by the highway. Access can be difficult, but if you can get here you won’t regret it.

My first time visiting Liard and it was a great experience. It was quite busy though as spring break was just starting. If you want a peaceful experience I recommend not going during holidays / long weekends to get the most personal experience. Regardless, it's worth going. My skin was so soft afterwards and I noticed a difference in my psoriasis too. I got a picture of the boardwalk towards the springs, it's a bit of a walk but not terribly far. There is bench to sit down at around the half way point for a break if it's needed lol. Don't forget to bring flashlights if you'll be there when it's dark. Keep in mind the changing area is a big open room exposed to the elements, colder months you will want to be prepared! Highly recommend visiting this place on your travels, hope to go again one day!

Absolutely the best hot springs in all of BC that is easily accessible. Best time to visit us in the fall for the colours and winter for the stunning beauty. Water is nice and hot, and the facilities are great. Campground is a nice bonus and totally worth staying at. Every time I go up the Alcan, I stop here.

The pools are such a relaxing experience! Temperature varies by location in the pool. There's a "falls" under which one can stand, to enjoy the hot water cascading onto head, neck, shoulders. Changing areas available at the pools area, for a bit of privacy.

Had a great visit! My family and I enjoyed the hot, relaxing environment. A couple of us even did the challenge to put our own rocks up at the boiling point. Super hot but there is a technique to it! Enjoy! As for the camping area, it is VERY secure from bears ( or anything else really ) with full perimeter fencing, so keep your criters on a leash so they dont learn the hard way. Great place to go. 😉
Trevor Campbell — Google review
Amazing place and the hot springs were awesome!! You have to walk down the boardwalk to get to the hot springs. Beautiful place and gorgeous landscapes. I stayed here in September and it was so colorful with all the leaves changing. There are only cubby holes for your stuff so no lockable lockers just as an fyi.

This is one of my favorite spots along the Alaska highway. Having been here during all months, I would recommend late winter early spring when there are no other tourists. However, it is worth the visit even during the busy season. There are covered change rooms, not heated, so prepare for that in the winter. There are no showers to wash off after your visit, but there are outhouses. This is a natural hot spring in bear country, be bear aware.

Super friendly park attendant. Hot spring visit included in camping fee. Hot springs are a beautiful walk along a board walk. Nice and relaxing with varying degrees of heat to choose from. Awesome place to visit and camp.
You have to hike the Summit Peak Trail. It is a must see if you are traveling through the Northern Rockies Provincial Park just off of the Al-Can. It is a physically moderate trail that is well marked and offers stunning views. It's about 3 miles to the peak.

Although only around 8.5 miles, it is certainly a strenuous but more than worth it hike! Beautiful panoramic views of the Rockies, lake, and mountain streams abound so don't forget your camera! Also make sure to bring an extra jacket as the weather is quite unpredictable as the elevation rises.

This place is a awesome, however, google maps is not! I drove from Dawson creek all the way to Tok, Alaska and google maps told me the road was closed or it wouldn’t even provide a route or access to gas stations along the route. Absolute failure on googles part!! This has been an issue for weeks, as I return back the same route in a few days and it is still not functional.
Probably one of my most favorite museums I've ever been to, an absolute must visit!

Interesting artifacts and truely historical significance. The urgency of the time is displayed on the memorial in front of the museam. Something maybe bith Americans and Canadians have forgotten with time, peace and prosperity. It will definitely be interesting to the few American friends of this country that we have left and one to visit.

Enjoyed the displays. Amazing that they showed the negative side of what the dam did to the First Nation peoples way of life and how it stopped the migration patterns of many species of wildlife including moose and caribou.

This was a great place for our little guy to look around, so many interesting exhibits!
We were in time to take the bus tour but as it was a school bus, it was not exactly equipped for taking a toddler along, understandable but disappointing.
We bought some very cute onesies in the gift shop as well as some gifts for our nieces.
The only other disappointing aspect was the cafeteria, it had little to no food offered except some lukewarm soup and bags of chips.
The views of the dam were spectacular, we drove across it and back, very impressive.

Pretty nice visitor center with some interesting info. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they admitted the fact that the dam had a negative impact on the local native peoples and the ecosystem including blocking migration routes. The guided tour was a disappointment and isn’t really worth doing in my opinion as they stopped showing the powerhouse a few years ago and that’s really what I wanted to see. I guess the lawyers must have put a stop to that. Lame. They just show a video then take you to a view point on the other side of the dam and back to the visitor center. You can just go up to the view point on your own as well.
Our guide Jenna did do a great job though with the little she was allowed to show us. Told some fun facts and was able to answer most of my questions.

Great place to learn about the dam. And have a great view of the WAC dam

Check in with Security at the gate, able to drive to the Visitor Center and walk around. Visitor Center is closed so only able to enjoy the outdoor attractions. Next was to drive across the dam and back.

Great place to visit and see where a lot of the power in British Columbia is made. We got to tour inside of the dam twice over the years. Last time we visited was 2013.

This is a super cool place to visit. If you have a boat you can even use the boat launch to venture around Williston Lake, which was created by the dam and stretches from here to Mackenzie, BC!

It was okay. Sandman definitely needs to do some upgrades. I think they've forgotten about these out of the way hotels. If you have to get up early, (before 9 am) you had better bring your own food. Not sure when the restaurant is actually open.

One of my favorite places in BC, Canada
Beautiful scenery and amazing people. My every visit is blessed with new friends and stories.
One of the best theatres in BC. Amazing seating seat up and a classic, cool old building. I was here as a performer and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The booking g management is fantastic! (Not just saying that to book another show.) Whether it's live music, a movie or a comedy, you really should visit the Lido. There aren't many of these jewels left in Canada.

You can't just walk in and rent skates. I was told you have to order them ahead of time. There is just one guy that does the rentals and he's not always there. I had to watch the family skate because I didn't have my own skates. The place looked cool. Big huge skating oval. Lots of people and kids there. Seemed pretty low key.

I was visiting FSJ and stopped in here to take a fitness class that was advertised. This Sports Centre is very nice and it seems there are lots of options of things to do here to serve the community, like free ice skating. If I lived in FSJ I would definitely come use the free track, which is cool because it’s an open track built above the ice arenas! I see they have a very nice little gym here too, but when I asked about paying a drop-in fee to use it I was told it’s only for students to use which seems like a missed opportunity. I was also a bit disappointed with my drop-in fitness experience: I saw the class advertised, created an account and signed up/paid online, drove to the arena the day of, and long story short the doors were locked and the class had apparently been cancelled but I was not notified in any fashion. I eventually got my money refunded, but they didn’t even refund the full amount to my VISA — I guess some of the cost is kept as a “processing fee”, but that’s kind of ridiculous when they were the ones who made the error.

What a majestic place to visit…. If you can get over the long dirt road to get there, which sucks. But Defs an awesome view

The drive is long but the view is worth it! This is an incredible natural wonder! Great viewing platform and well marked trails. Take the drive because the falls are amazing!
Tyler Wold — Google review
Kinuseo falls are amazing and it is wonderful to be able to see them from the top and even better if you hike down to the river and see them from the bottom. We thought we were the only ones there because the parking lot was empty but when we hiked down to the river there was a riverboat parked right in the middle of all our pictures. We waited over an hour to be able to take a nice picture but the boat never moved. I guess the companies that take tourists on riverboat cruises only care about their customers. Why can't they be considerate of other visitors and park their boat a little downstream so they don't ruin everyone's pictures? It's a very long bumpy drive to see these waterfalls, so you'd think it would be a wilderness experience.

Waterfall lived up to expectations in terms of pure beauty, enormity, and remoteness. A real gem that is not overdeveloped so you can have space to take it in. Great platform above which is accessible to all but also a few trails to get an upper view and a view from the river below. Thus allows a great perspective. Very out of the way but the falls is a gem in a park and area filled with a treasure chest of natural beauty.
Nilesh Patel — Google review
The falls are low right now. Aug. 26 2022. But very wonderful. The road in can be a bit rough. But once your there it is worth it. Take the hike down to the river and sit on the beach or hang out at the benches along the way. The views are incredible.

Kineuso Falls is the most beautiful waterfall in western Canada in my opinion. Worth the drive. 3 minute walk from the parking area to the falls, then an amazing 1.2km hike to the viewpoint, which is worth the hike. The road is can be rough, so make sure your spare is good. The campsite is great as well. 2 minutes down the road from the falls, and pull through RV sites. $20/night. No power or water(the only way to camp)

Travel to the small British Columbia mountain town of Tumbler Ridge and stop in to see the dinosaur museum and get information to guide you to Monkman Provincial Park. You can eaily drive on a maintaned gravel road down to Kinuse Falls on the Murray River. Two main observation decks near the parking area afford spectacular views. The lower deck is wheelchair accessible and is a very easy walk from the parking lot. The first upper level viewing area is about a 10 or 15 minute walk up a trail. This is not accessible to wheelchairs. The climb is a little steep but the path is well defined and you don't need to be in top physical condition to make it. It's easy to stop for a breather and enjoy the local plants and forest. New viewing areas are developed but I haven't visited them. They ate all on built and maintained trails from the upper viewing area. These falls are amazingly beautiful and you feel like you have the whole valley to yourself. This is a must-see destination in the northeast of the province. Tumbler Ridge is a picturesque little town with lots of friendly and helpful residents. It's also the base of a World Geopark. It's truly a crown jewel in the midst of the province of British Columbia.

Driving the AlCan Highway was an incredible experience. I did it twice in May and September 2012. Driving up in May was the best because there was almost no traffic and so the wildlife was active near the road. I saw 20 black bears and 2 brown on the drive up to Alaska, along with many other assorted animals. The scenery was unbelievable. Just when you thought it couldn't get better, you turn a corner and it does! This sign marks the beginning of the road from Dawson Creek.

What we thought would be a whistle stop on our VIA Rail journey from Jasper to Prince George turned out to be a much longer halt at the McBride Rail Station. We were probably waiting for a freight train to pass. So we were allowed to get down and stretch our legs at McBride. We found the building to be quite interesting because of the Visitor Centre being located here. We found quite a good collection of free pamphlets and maps of the interesting places of British Columbia and particularly of the Rocky Mountains. There is also a gallery of paintings and art works done by the local artists on display, the 'Whistle Stop Gallery’. There is also a café and coffee shop called ‘The Beanery’.

Very educational and fascinating. You would need a couple of hours to cover the walk through .... well organized with live working workshop ... kids "bone bed" that even adults can have fun. Theater, cafeteria, and gift shop included.

I was so incredibly disappointed with the museum. Brought our out of town family who have never been before and what a waste of time and money. My third visit... the first in 3 years, and definitely the worst by far. Almost all of the feature stations were partially broken if not completely broken, the place was dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, the service was next to nothing. So overpriced for what it was. We will likely never be back. A beautiful building and tourist attraction that holds so much potential but is now nothing but a disgusting disappointment. This can be done better. The best part was the playground and we could've used that for free. Cafe was closed so can't offer a review on that, although past experience was good. Dont waste your time or money on the museum. If you make the stop, enjoy the playground for free, otherwise don't bother.

Family of 6 visiting, great interactive experience for the kids. Plus was the sand box with all the fossils the kids could find. The elevator was currently out of service, but the building was clean and not crowded,
The gift shop was pricey. Admission price was fair for all that came with the tour and exhibits that were open for viewing.
Kids loved the kids dome and the laboratory look out.
Marco Moretto — Google review
What a disappointment…. I was here when the museum was first opened up many years ago and it was great. Lots of interactive exhibits, lots to see and do, a great experience. It’s now a few years later and more than half the exhibits are either broken or not working, the gift shop was sparse at best and most of the screens and projectors that show the cool stuff are either turned off or also broken.
Let’s not forget this is oil and gas country so there is “sponsored by” exhibits everywhere so keep that in mind when viewing the exhibits.
The curator and executive director need to step things up, get those exhibits fixed and working and start attracting some new major exhibits to get people flowing through.
A huge disappointment!

Took the kids for an outing on Saturday. The displays are interactive and there is lots of things to touch and feel to immerse you in the experience. There were quite a few broken displays though, which sad because it's likely the public that caused that.
They were hosting a scavenger hunt with Halloween candy as a prize and the kids got super excited to play.
Gift shop was well stocked as well. Nice that they also have a Cafe there.

Interesting exhibit, the side rooms weren't open but still had enough to look around at. Could see into the lab where they were working on samples. Some activity tables and "dig area" for kids. Saskatoon Island Provincial Park is a vast bird sanctuary covering 297 acres. The park offers picturesque trails that are great for camping, cross-country skiing, and canoeing. It's an ideal destination for canoers and kayakers in the summer, while birdwatchers will enjoy observing the various species of birds here. Visitors can launch their boats from the campground area to explore the lake shores or venture into small inlets. The park also hosts Art in the Parks events every Tuesday during summer.
There are so many memories here for us of camping. The best time, in my opinion, to visit is the fall. Grab a coffee and just walk around the entire island. Definitely just sit at the beach and look out at the water. Have a quiet moment 💕

Outdoor parks with playground equipment, beautiful walking trails, plenty of campground spaces and a gorgeous view of the lake- what's not to like? Certain buildings can be rented out to use for hosting party events as well and there are a decent number of picnic tables. I happened to be on a field trip and thr students really enjoyed exploring the great outdoors. The trails are very private so we did not disturb any campers. At lunch we were able to treat them to cooked hotdogs and hamburgers right there on-site!
It's also worth mentioning that they have multiple outhouses scattered around the trails and while not fancy, they get the job done.

One of our favourite parks! Lots of trees for privacy and shade, lots of water taps, nice trails, and so many Saskatoons if you go in July! The water shouldn't be swum in, that's the only downfall. The campground is very well maintained, it was very nice to see. Also, trails connecting all the different loops.
Isabel Pereira — Google review
I would love to give it a "4" for well maintained spaces, great private campsites, lovely small lake, hike and bike paths, free firewood, showers, clean amenities. Lots to do here!!!! But....be prepared to be surrounded by oversized RVs running generators all day!!! Past 11pm and well into 1 am as well. Maybe we just got unlucky with neighbours but judging by how many of them you can hear at a time....makes me think it's kinda a norm here. If there are rules like in other parks, they are not followed and no campground staff was visible to enforce any rules.

Plenty of fresh water and free showers and firewood.
There are saskatoons everywhere!
I saw a deer chowing down while driving through.
The woman at the front office was super nice and friendly and the price is right too. Unlike another campground a little south from here that forces you to register online using a tablet and then charges an additional $10 fee for doing so.
If you're in the area I highly recommend this place.

One of the nicest city parks I've visited over the years.
Very extensive with lots of trails and areas to explore. Clean and neat.
No issues with being hassled for money etc. and no "shady" characters, on my visits to date. That was especially appreciated.
One star off as a quiet atmosphere instead of a radio blaring by the rink area would be MUCH better. This shouldn't be another place to put up with noise pollution.

One of the nicest "city" parks that I've ever visited, through the years.😏
Nicely kept up, clean and with lots of room, paths....to explore.
One star off as the blaring radio playing by the skating rink does not add to the atmosphere, just the opposite. If someone wants/needs constant noise, they can wear their headphones. A park like this should be quiet, serene and provide a much-needed break from the everyday noise of normal life.
Other than the annoying radio, all good and definitely recommended for visitors and/or the residents of Grande Prairie.

I must admit my first time at the Eastlink Center was almost a month ago now. I was so impressed with staff, the cleanliness of the entire building, the overall energy. Positive friendly people, relaxed and enjoying themselves with family and friends.

Great place for some family/solo fun. Fair prices on their monthly memberships. The swimming pool is fantastic. We enjoyed just walking around the place. I asked about accessibility for storing of walkers while using the pool and they seemed very accommodating. They mentioned storing it behind the front desk to prevent stealing.

Unbelievable! So much to do for kids and adults alike. Good value for the money. Bring your own lock for the lockers. The family change rooms are very well set up. Definitely recommend as a day out.
Two waterslides for older kids and up. One waterslide dedicated to children under 13. Tot spot, lazy river w whirlpool that is fun, surfing spot, 2 lap pools and one pool for diving. 2 large hot pools. Overall very well laid out.

This sport complex is awesome, I was surprised to find that huge swimming area and splash park in this city. Sauna and steam room is worth visiting. Fitness center is also really cool, everything is modern and in great condition. Adult daily pass is only 11 bucks. Front desk ladies are beautiful and helpful. I'm gonna visit this place again.

The Eastlink Center has a good variety of amenities but it seems geared towards older kids (schools right by it), as well as families with older kids, or just individuals on their own. It is NOT the greatest facility if you have a small infant or baby, unless you like to and are merely looking to walk the track. Breastfeeding seems to be hit or miss if allowed in certain areas and you will be confronted by staff. They will not do anything to make you feel more comfortable with this or for doing what you need to take care of your baby. There is also limited baby change tables, so the wait can be a bit. You cannot change a diaper outside of the bathroom, even if on your own change mat, as it will be reported and complaints will be made. The washrooms tend to smell foul as they don't change the designated diaper bins often. When we brought complaints forward to the staff about comments made towards us or issues occuring, things were just brushed under the table and then soon after they would notify about a policy change via the baby and me class instructor. The policies seemed to be changing all the time with no real care for moms with new babies. The baby and me class Victoria runs is great, only draw back unfortunately is it is only 3 times a week. Victoria is amazing and is the only staff member who seems to care about the mom's. Outside of this class time slot you cannot workout with your baby, even if they are in a stroller. All equipment or workout areas minus the walking track are for ages 13+. They have nothing to offer mums with babies throughout the summer months.

Visited the pool for the first time. Overall experience was great, I went with my 2 year old nephew and wish they let us go down the side together. Some rules seem silly but we still had a good time

Nice and clean facility. Very helpful staff. The lifeguards are also great at their job and very attentive. Overall a very safe and family oriented setting

I was at the woman's change room at the pool. There were some teenagers in the showers. They were screaming at the top of there lungs, for no reason. The cleaning lady, told them to stop screaming. Then the cleaning lady asked them and some other people to be careful, not to have soap on floor out of the showers. Someone might slip and get hurt. When the cleaning lady told them to be careful. I heard the one teen say to her friend. Should I go yell at her. For yelling at me. the teenager went up to the cleaning lady and pointed at her started yelling at the cleaning lady. Teenagers so disrespectful now a day's, I couldn't believe it. The teenager said don't ever yell at me as she pointed her finger. Customer isn't always right, when they don't know both side's of the story. 😒if that was me when I was a teenager, my dad would have made me go apologize. I would have been grounded
Sheri V — Google review
It's a great facility. Fun for the kids. Didn't care for a couple of unnecessary rules in terms of the diving platform. A bit over the top. For the amount people pay they could turn on the warm water in the showers.
Jason Thomas — Google review
It's good overall but could be more accessible. There's no adult change tables for people with disabilities and the front door button isn't a button. You wave your hand to open the door. Which isn't great for people with limited hand control.
Becca Yurkoski — Google review
The Flo Rider has literally gone down only 6 hours a week which is sad cuz I used to ride at 6 hours Saturday. It's alone but other than that the facilities are nice shape. They're keeping the staff young. I guess you could say and the place is pretty clean
Chris lajeunesse — Google review
The monthly membership allows unlimited access to all facilities and my most favorite to access is the swimming pool.
I do wish the Flo Wave Rider was open more hours because I've only been there once while it was open and only watched as I was too scared to try it but now I want to try it and it's never open when I'm there.
The slides are especially fun tho especially the tube slide .

Amazing place for families, friends to relive some childhood fun! Just wish there were more tunbes for the lazy river but pool noodles were an okay substitute. Water slides were and absolute blast!! Surfing area was a hoit even just watching trying to decide if old hips would survive 🤣. Lifeguard staff were very on the ball keeping excited kids on track with the rules which was nice to see. Safety first

Janitorial ladies yell at kids for washing their hair at the pool change room showers , walk into their showers to yell at them and tell them how to shower, and when brought up to security, security was useless, they came in and watched the young girls shower …..
This wasn’t the first time Janitorial has been rude and ignorant to our family or people we know. Actually we hear it a lot.
Security is ignorant and talk over you when you try to talk to them. 🤦♀️🤦♀️

Eastlink offers a wide variety of activities that caters to many lifestyles. The facility has a lot of natural light and is clean (you can almost always see someone cleaning). The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Eastlink is a great place to bring your family.
I did not give a five star review because the schedule for public swim is limited and not always convenient.
aaron Hewko — Google review
Love it here, I think we have always managed to miss the busy times. My only thing is pool rules, I was whisled at 3 separate times and told 3 different things by 3 different life guards all while just being at the diving boards. Every time I go there I get told something different.
Ashley Knight — Google review
This weekend my husband and I were planning on going to Eastlink for our daughter's first swimming trip. We checked the pool schedule on the website beforehand to make sure we had the right time as we live an hour out of GP. However, when we showed up we were informed the pool was closed because of the Alberta Winter Games. When we said there was no mention on the website or schedule, we were told that they knew the website wasn't updated as they had only updated their Facebook page. We were told to come back on Monday and no apology was given nor commitment to update the website to avoid this happening for the rest of the weekend. We sat on a bench near the ticket counter for awhile as we made alternate plans and numerous families came for public swim only to be told the same thing. Young children who were excited to go swimming left crying. It is unacceptable to not update the primary source of information and, if it was an accident, should have been corrected promptly so as not to inconvenience more families.
Deanna Funk — Google review
So sick of this place. Almost worth it to drive to another town (and might be necessary) with the new schedule and all the things that are always closed when you CAN go in for public swimming! People in GP are resorting to renting hotel pools due to how terrible this place is. It is unbelievable. One pool for a population of over 100,000 and for basically the entirety of weekday afternoons it is closed to the public?! Is this not a city facility, paid for with tax dollars?! The swim clubs should have a different facility. This is absurd and unfair to the rest of our population. I know many other people feel this way.

This was just super fun and awesome all around. I went with my husband and two younger sisters and we all just had the greatest time! We were lucky enough to have the owners as our guides which was great! They are really nice people and made the trip even better! Knowing every little spot and place along the river educating us on what's what and where. The value for you money is crazy, it's a good long paddle ended by hot chocolate and delicious cookies! So thank you so much, you've awoken a new family favorite thing to do!
Keep being awesome

Such a great crew working here! We had a really good experience off and on the river. A very extensive set of covid guidelines makes you feel very safe. The river experience was unforgettable. We were a family of 4 with 13 and a 10 year old and fell very safe while getting a doze of wild river...wild enough for me, anyway. The kids were beyond excited. The views are jaw dropping....if you are anywhere in the vicinity, it is so worth the stop.

We went with a group of 10 of us this past weekend, including some teens from 12-17. It was an overall great experience. We all fully enjoyed our day. The river was fun, the scenery was nice, and the staff were excellent. We happened on to great water levels because of the rainfall this past week which made the rapids even more fun. This was my third time rafting and I would recommend this rafting experience along with the particular guides with Wild Blue Yonder. They were fun, funny, engaging and experienced. Highly recommend for a fun afternoon experience with family, friends, or work team. Thanks for the great day, Yo!

The rafting trip was great but they did not mention anywhere on booking the trip, that you had to go down a steep gravel hill with only a rope attached to a pole to hang onto. even a normal person with no vertigo would be cautious, but my friend was very shaky and it almost cancelled our trip right there. My daughters took off ahead of me and i couldnt go after them to slow them down as I had to hold onto the rope myself. Please make this more clear for people in the future.

Had a great time rafting with this company! I have been rafting a few times, but this one of the best times Ive gone! The scenery was beautiful, the rapids were really fun, and the guides were friendly and funny. They provided us with really nice gear to keep us warm: even wetsuit jackets and socks and gloves in addition the normal gear, brought water guns for an on-river water fight, and had hot chocolate and cookies for afterwards. The facilities were very nice as well. Thanks guys!!!

This right here is a hidden gem. We went as a group of 10 and the amount of fun we had cannot be put into words. From welcoming us to finally waving goodbye to us, the Wild Blue team had it laid out perfectly. You couldn’t ask for a better set of people to take you down those rapids. The staff were all super fun and gave us clear cut instructions on what to do and what not to do and how to manage any situations that may arise while rafting. I don’t want to ruin the surprise by telling what’s waiting towards the end of the course there but the hot chocolate and cookies at the end, man that did hit the spot. Highly recommend this place for mediocre adventure junkies. Shayne, my man, you were one fun, crazy captain 🫡. Thanks again team. We will be back.

These guys are SERIOUSLY professional. For our group, we used them to get us across the Smokey for some Passport hiking, and they managed the crossing in some really tough conditions. Good guys to talk to, very responsive, good focus on safety, very reliable.
I have heard that they have done some serious adventures on their own time, and it was obvious in the short bit of work that they did for us that they had some real depth of expertise.
I'd love to go on one of their regular rafting tours someday! Grande Cache is a beautiful area, and it is lucky to have some awesome outfitters like these guys!
Check out the photo below for an example of them really going the distance!

We usually go whitewater rafting in Mt Robson but our favourite campground was closed for renos so we decided to try Grande Cache this year. So glad we did! Terrific, first-rate time with the Wild Blue crew!!
The river is the same class as our usual run, but tighter turns and narrow passageways made it a bit more technically challenging and more fun. We were super impressed with the guide's expertise. He called out exactly how many strokes was needed every time. We were a large group, filling three rafts and the rest of our party said it was the same in theirs.
I was also very pleased with the quality and abundance of their equipment and gear. The bus, rafts, and paddles were well cared for and in great shape. Our usual rafting company just has the wetsuits, socks and a windbreaker and helmet, and I'm always cold, even on nice days. Wild Blue provided us with wetsuits, wetjacket, windbreaker, socks, water shoes, and even water mitts and toques if needed! It had been raining all weekend and was still a little chilly but I was nice and warm the whole time!
The perfect finishing touch: hot chocolate and cookies when we came out of the water! I've rafted with a few companies over the years but this was the first time we were ever offered this, and it really hit the spot. Plus, a wonderful final note to leave in customers' memories! Thanks so much, Wild Blue! We'll be back!

Absolutely loved our time on the river!
We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) and we decided on the river float, as the kids were a little nervous about rafting on white water. 10 mins in and they all wanted more!
We saw beavers and an eagle and received lots of information whilst floating down the river.
It was one of the highlights of our trip and would recommend for anyone interested in spending time on the river. You are in good hands with Justin and team 😎

We had a great experience with Stellar Descents, rafting down the river with stunning views of Mount Robson. It was just my partner, his dad, and myself. Our guide, Justin, was excellent, knowledgeable, and focused on making our trip enjoyable and safe. One of my favourite parts was taking a dip in the water towards the end. I'd highly recommend Stellar Descents!

Jimmy, Liam and Justin are awesome! 😀 We did some Class III rapids and had a ton of fun. 🚣♂️
Everyone was super professional and friendly. Justin went ahead of our raft on his own kayak, 🛶 ready to help out any accidental overboard stragglers. That said, nobody fell out in the end. Myself and everyone felt perfectly safe and in good hands. Our on-board guide Jimmy was very knowledgeable of the area, too.
Oh and they provide wetsuits when it's too cold. I was also pleased by the number of great photos Liam managed to shoot. They're sold separately but you get your money's worth; they're good and plentiful. 👌
Highly recommend. 👍

Jim helped us get back and forth on the bus and was also excellent. I would bring kids and would say it’s family friendly. Unfortunately they only have 1 washroom which is in the souvenir store. Went to the Information building but there's none or rather closed? Not really sure but yeah! I waited for over 10 minutes just to use the washroom.
Other than that! It's a good place to walk around for a bit. Especially behind the Building where you can view the Mountain from the deck.

The first floor of this place is a gift store and information center. You will find useful booklets about tourist attractions and nature of BC, although I found some of them looks not updated.
The lower floor is a small museum full of information for kids and adults. A grizzly skink and head, a chart of tree's life, park Rangers uniforms,... We spent half an hour there.

I have traveled to many visitors centers in Canada and I must say this one lacks many things that a visitor to this area would need. I wanted a paper copy of a trail map, and none were available, although many from other areas in BC were available. I wanted information on hikes, and the staff were more concerned about selling souvenirs. It was very disappointing to see on this huge tourist route. The map I had to drive to the actual hike should be available at the visitors center, along with distances for the hikes at Mount Robson. This is usually standard information at provincial Park visitors centre's. Time to improve your services.

Wowa weewah! Very cool visitor centre - there's a massive deck in the back that directly faces mount robson. It's also one of the few places you can get Wi-Fi along this highway, although there is the Terry Fox rest stop that has Wi-Fi about 5 minutes away.
Otherwise there's tons of parking if you have a trailer or motorhome. if it's a great day and you can get a good view of the mountain make sure that you stop by and soak it in!

One of the best visitor center I have been to. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathroom is very nice. There is a water fountain there you can fill your water bottles. Reduce plastic waste.
There is a balcony area with a fantastic view to the meadow. And at the balcony you can also connect to wifi and charge your devices. This year unfortunately Berg Lake trail is closed. All the pamphlets are about other BC tourists places. I will definitely come back when Berg Lake trails is reopened.

He gave us advices about animals‚ hikes to do (he was right‚ Kenney lake was probably the best hike without a lot of tourists we've done during this road trip) and others useful advices.
Forgive my bad english‚ but thanks a lot for all advices‚ and you should go here (if you plan to go to Jasper‚ you'll probably have better advices hère than in Jasper).

This park is a vast protected area with hiking, camping, fishing, and more. The mountain is famous for being the highest and most prominent in the Canadian Rockies. It's also home to a provincial park with 536 acres of pristine wilderness.

It's one of the most beautiful part of the yellow head highway drive towards BC. There are a few shops for travellers and tourist to patronize. Also several areas for photo lovers.
Ensure your vehicle is in good shape as help may not come as quickly as you desire if needed.
Cellular network signals are very poor around these area due to the mountains.
Ensure your vehicle has enough gas to avoid disappointment. Not many gas stations are available around the mountain.

Mount Robson Provincial Park is nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains & it one of British Columbia’s gems. Like other Mountain Parks, including Jasper, Banff & Radium Hot Springs, there are rivers, forests & canyons to explore. You can canoe, hike, kayak, & standup paddle board in the warmer months.
The Rocky Mountains boast mammoth lakes that resemble the inland seas that French novelist Jules Verne (1828-1905) wrote about in Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Please be careful when on the water, especially if you are a novice in watercraft travel. The weather can change quickly, & gentle waves could turn into white horses bouncing you.
You might find Yellowhead Lake safer than Moose. One resident who had not seen the ocean until adulthood said Moose Lake was a sea swept by the forces of nature. Consider bringing supplies such as bear spray, a bucket, extra dry clothing & a life jacket, a waterproof phone, a wet bag & a whistle etc. The bucket can help to bail out water.
Is your seating comfortable? Do you need to upgrade it with portable seating designed for watercraft. Time on a vessel can be tough when you sit for long periods so your seating is important.
Please stay close to the shore, especially if this type of travel is unfamiliar to you. Crossing from one side to the lake to the other can be a hazardous route, so it’s crucial to consistently check the weather conditions. Additionally, informing others of your anticipated arrival and return times is highly recommended.

Such a beautiful place! Here you get to see snowy and really tall mountains! And because the Mount Robson Provincial Park is near BC and Alberta, you could play around and you jump from province to province, that sounds cool to me!

What a wonderful park. It’s in the mountains 🏔. Love nature and all that it entails. We drove thorough the park on the Yellow Head highway 🛣. We stopped at the Mount Robson Visitor Centre. It was a nice stop. It would be wonderful to spend more time exploring the park but as with most people we were on our way to somewhere else. I definitely recommend this park and all the wonders it beholds.

I come here every summer when I can. One of the most amazing trails on Earth. If you only have a couple of hours, a trip to Kinney Lake is well worth it. If you have a couple of days, the trip to Berg Lake (and Snowbird Pass) are breathtaking. Must book a loooooooooooong time in advance.

Honestly the berg lake trail is one of the nicest hikes I've done. We went up to emperor falls and back (32km+) in one day, and although it was totally worth it it was quite heave on the knees. I recommend everyone to do the hike, as I can only imagine what Berg lake itself will look like, but make sure you got a few days time so you can appreciate it in all it's glory without having to walk around with a knee brace for a week after 😉

I like the park a lot. The sites are nice and quiet and private. There are two showers in Robson meadows campground for women and a family shower there too. And the flushing toilet is good. The visitor center is very nice. I also went to the cafe every morning for coffee. They have a lot of tasty treats and lunch items and snacks, drink and ice cream and wine. everything looked nice and cute in the cafe and staff were very nice. The Berg Lake trail and a few other trails are all closed. Left only the fraser river nature walk and the outlander falls and a trail from visitor center to the top of a hill. Maybe there are a couple other ones I didn't go. But the trail from visitor center was really nice. Here are a few pictures from the summit.

One of my favorite provincial parks in all of Canada. Sadly the best trail in the park, the Berg Lake Trail, is closed until probably 2025 due to significant damage from flooding and landslides. There are 7 campgrounds along this trail for backcountry camping in many different environments. Reservations are required for all of them. Hopefully some improvements will be made as they make the needed repairs although compare to back country sites in the US, these are already far superior. Many have cooking shelters established and pit toilets.

We passed the Moose Lake in the province of British Columbia while doing a VIA Rail trip from Vancouver to Jasper National Park in Alberta, in July 2019. The Canadian National's Rail line and the Yellowhead Highway run along the north shore of the lake and we got very scenic views of the lake from the train window. Moose Lake is the only lake along the course of the Fraser River.

As an explorer, here's my spin...
The rest area, boat launch is located on the East end of Moose Lake. On sunny days, you may see crystal blue water, and from this vantage point looking South, you can see Thunder Falls.

Beautiful lake that you can see from the road...very long lake with only one place to stop at the small public boat launch area. Did not see any Moose.
